Mark Walter bought the Lakers in October at a $10 billion valuation and just sold them to Josh Kushner and Bob Iger for $12.5 billion, clearing a $2.5 billion profit in under a year. Covino and Rich react to the biggest flip in sports history and then dig up the other great steals: Steinbrenner getting the Yankees from CBS for $10 million, Jerry Jones buying the Cowboys for $140 million, Blockbuster passing on Netflix at $75 million, Facebook grabbing Instagram for a billion, Manhattan for a satchel of beads, and the part of the Babe Ruth sale nobody bothers to explain. There is also a $600 hair restoration helmet that showed up on a clearance shelf in Idaho for fifty bucks. Then it is time for They Might Be Ass, where Rich goes through the Arizona Cardinals schedule game by game and explains why the Carson Beck preseason hype is a trap and why Vegas setting the win total at three and a half is still too generous. And because today is the anniversary of South Park's 1997 debut, the guys count down their top three adult cartoons of all time, with Beavis and Butt-Head, Ren and Stimpy, Gravity Falls, Family Guy and South Park all in the mix. Overpromised is the weekly uncensored bonus pod from Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio.

five to seven on the East anytime at Covino on
Rich FSR on YouTube. Thanks for being here, and of
course we'll be filling in for Dan Patrick a lot

(00:30):
of dates in the future, So listen.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Out the hat trick Funday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Well, it all depends on when you're watching this, but
if you're watching this on Thursday, yeah, we'll be throwing
it back.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Hope.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
The kiddos had a great first week of school so
far out here on the West Side. And I'll tell
you what's coming up on the show today. Best adult cartoons,
Oh there's a reason for that. We don't mean like
the dirty ones that Spot watches, Not those kinds by
give her.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
A click around you're like, what, God, what is Peter
Griffin doing loves?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Not those, oh, homie, not those, we'll explain.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Patrick, Not those like weird ones that you see what
is he doing to spongebop?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
And who might be ass Well, it's preseason football and
it might be a particular football team.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Some people are high on Rich Davis hatball.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
There's their fucking cheeks, all right, I can't wait to
go at him all right now. The big story in
sports this week, I mean for a lot of football,
there's an NBA story that's breaking through because who thought the.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Lakers were gonna get sold? Just like that?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Lakers, the owner Mark Walter made two point five plus
billion dollars in profit sell them the team like a
year after he bought them, so proving once again the
best investment in.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
The world a sports franchise. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Absolutely, congrats to Iiger and Kushner. They made the deal
happen fast. It took the world by storm and scattered showers.
Everybody shocked. The biggest story.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
But they're committed.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
They say they're committed to winning, and who knows what
they're gonna do. But sweet, sweet deal was made, and
it got us thinking.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Of other sweet deals.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
But you know what, before we even get into those,
it makes me think, like real estate, if someone in
your neighborhood gets a crazy amount for their house, it
makes people who might be on the fence want to
sell and cash in while they can.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
So.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
If I was an NBA owner, which I probably I
definitely won't ever be. You know, light Bulb has to
go off a little bit and say, well, maybe now's
the time to sell, even though I didn't want to.
Prices are high, people want teams. It probably meant more
to them to buy the Lakers than go to Vegas.
Maybe we should sell our familiar brand now and cash in.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
While we can.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
It might be a little domino effect with other NBA
teams or other sports franchises because people want to invest
in sports teams.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
I get that sentiment.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
But if you make it to the big boys club
where you're one of the few people that don't.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Want to hold on, you don't because it's a bit
you know what, this proves it's all a business.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Walter Group was like, yo, I'm out. You know offer,
they couldn't refuse me.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
This a half billion dollars. There's no attachment here. It's
about the money.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Take it. Sure.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
You're saying if someone on your block gets a ton
of money, like that's what they got for their house,
maybe we should sell too. But then you find yourself
then thinking all right, well now where am I going
to move? And I think a lot of these ballers
that are billionaires. Owning a sports team is like the
elite of the elite of the elite. There is a
there is something to be said about like I'm one
of the few people that own a team, but I

(03:31):
get what you're saying, Like, when you could make billions
of dollars profit, that might be the biggest turnaround ever
as far as like YO bought something, sold it that quick,
made two billion dollars like B not million, B billion
that like.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
That, And that's why we were all shoted by it.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
And it's not like the Lakers had some like sick
run in that year, like it was a average year.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
We live in a time in a world where you
don't know what to believe on social media. So when
that news hit, you're like, wait, they were just sold.
Less than a year they're sold again. So very interesting
times the NBA. We'll see what happens next with these
other owners.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Well, as you know, franchises, that's where you're gonna make
your money. That's why everyone from Usher to the Serena
and Venus Williams to Justin Timberlake, a Rod Tom Brady,
everyone wants in.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
I told you I want to invest in a cornhole team.
Maybe you know, that's our budget. Maybe yeah, that's our budget.
Maybe a wishleb team.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
I had to think though about how cheap Steinbrenner got
the Yankees for. That always comes up because I know
it was the seventies, over fifty years ago. But the
fact that George bought the Yanks in nineteen seventy three
for ten million dollars, that's like money you could round
up with like all the people you know, well, everyone
you know has a couple rich enough friends, but you're like, yeah,

(04:47):
let's buy something for ten million dollars.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
You could You might be able to do that in
today's world, for sure, if you know some important people,
if you know enough people. But yeah, ten million dollars
for a billion dollars, multi billion dollar Yankees team that's
recognized worldwide. He got it from CBS in nineteen sixty four,
than saying, ain't that crazy?

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Saying another one that comes.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
To the MBS owned Yeah, I'm sorry, CBS owned them
since nineteen sixty four.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah, and then in seventy three made the best deal ever.
Jerry Jones.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I mean, you watch a documentary Jerry one hundred and
forty mili for the cowboys might sound steep, but when
you realize they're worth fifteen point five billion dollars right now,
how about them cowboys?

Speaker 1 (05:31):
That's what I'm saying, Like, these are guys that take
pride and have some sort of love for the organization.
Jerry Jones, you could imagine a Jones family or the
Steinbrenners holding on to these teams forever. Other people, it's
just a it's just a flex, and it's just a
business move.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
If it's a good company or a good stock. Now
sometimes you're like, I don't want to buy too high,
and you're like, well, it's gonna keep going up. I
feel that way about sports franchises and social media in
its earlier days, like when face Book acquired Instagram, they
were people that thought and they spent a billion dollars
for Instagram.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Rump off.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Instagram is valued in some places, get this, five hundred
billion dollars.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
So you might say billion dollars. Why would Facebook do that?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
They turned it into meta, But in that moment, people
thought billion dollars, huh me, and you should buy a
hot or not?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Dot com? Is that available? Friendster buy space back in
the mix. Himberlake bought MySpace at one point, I'm hearing
that might make a comeback. I don't know who owns
it now, but maybe that's another move you can make
if you're looking for that quick turnaround, that quick investment.
Another one all those companies like even the remember like Blockbuster.
Blockbuster could have acquired Netflix for seventy five peril and

(06:42):
they were like.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Yeah, no thanks. And these are all like multi billion
dollar companies.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
So that's a famous ball dropped in the world of
making moves. Famous ball dropped Allah Aaron Judge in the
World series. But yeah, Blockbuster blew it.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Now, when you were a kid in school, remember learning about.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
The Island of Manhattan, what was it? It was the
story like twenty dollars in beads from the Native Americans
and all a sudden they have Manhattan's ours. So, I mean,
that's almost up there, uh with the Yankees, right, Island
of Manhattan.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Give you a satchel of beads.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
The wheel of a steal of a deal. That's what
we're talking about, the best deals made. And again, what
makes the Lakers thing so cool tool is how fast
they did it.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You know, they made it happen quick.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Oh you know, sometimes you wonder you ever see a
real estate deal on like a TV show, like.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Well buy, but we need the contracts by end of day.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
If you want to get something done, guess what it
could get done before a right amount of money and
resources got to pull My dad's tactic, ey cash money,
how about how about kay, you got cash, make it happen.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Now you're talking, how about this famous wheel of a
steel of a deal?

Speaker 3 (07:49):
The bable that's what people do.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I know it sounds ridiculous, but in real estate you
could close on a house on like.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
A day or so if you like, I got cash.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Hello, how do you think all these properties are being
bunt and sold nowadays? That's you can't compete in the market.
You're trying to get a loan from the bank, and
you got all these rich oil people to be politically
correct saying yeah, how about I buy it now cash,
Here you go, and then.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
The seller's gonna be like, I could wait for you
at the bank.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Or I could just take this person exactly. So yeah,
good luck competing. The babe they have a steel of
a deal.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
It didn't pull. It didn't pee crow armshore and proof
he was not real. No, he was real.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Because the Yankees got him from the Red Sox in
nineteen nineteen. The famous story is one hundred thousand dollars cash.
But the part of the story you might not know,
because it's not as fun as just saying they got
him one hundred thousand dollars is it was in four
annual payments of twenty five thousand dollars or six percent interest. Yeah,
so one hundred thousand cash.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
See.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah, what I love about that headline. It's still old
timey lingo.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Spot.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Can you throw that graphic up one more time? Our
video guys, spot, it's always doing a great job.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
We'll get the headline.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Demon Slugga of American League who made twenty nine he
runs he made used to make a home run? Made
twenty nine home runs last season, goes to the New
York Yankees.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Wow, how many hot dogs did eat that year? That's
what I want to know.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
He made twenty nine homers. Good for him. So those are.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Probably the best of contract. Yeah, those are probably the
best deals I could think of about.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Well, it makes you think of the best deals in
your life, and I want you to share or other
deals that stand out to you. Hit us up at
Fox Sports radio at Covino and Rich hashtag over promised
because a personal deal I got recently. Man, I was
so thrilled about it, dude. You know sometimes you find
these treasures, get this, get you know. I was in

(09:38):
the market for this hair helmet. I heard these hair
restoration laser helmets work, right, and we got one for
over five hundred, like with taxes and everything, six hundred
dollars on Amazon, and I was realized.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
I was reluctant, but my girlfriend was like, no, we
got to get they. I heard they're really great and
I'll use it too. And I'm like, all right, fine, dude.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
I was at this random store, at this random you
got to pull up the coolest one, right. I was
at this random store in Idaho called Steals, and I
got the wheel of the steel of a deal. I
found the same helmet brand new in the box fifty dollars.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Get no, way, fifty dollars. Bro's like a clearance the
same thing. Bro.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Look at me?

Speaker 2 (10:18):
And why you think my pampad is looking fresh? Hasn't
looked that thing?

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Look at that.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
That's the that's the original one. I was in a
buck Steve at Arms, all right, that one's a joke.
But those wheels, you do have the hair helmet, dude,
that's right. I was about to pay like five six
hund for that thing. Ended up getting it for between
fifteen one hundred bucks, like on a clearance shelf.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
And you know, if they only knew what they gave up.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah, does it work? I couldn't tell you. I use
it every other day, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
But but if your hair wasn't falling out and you
use it, you'll never really know who knows.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
I'm still waiting to come in like Johnny Swade one
day with a pump door like this.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
So anyway, I want to hear.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
About your deals at Fox Sports Radio at Covino Enrich.
Congrats again to Iiger and Kushner, and we'll see what
happens with the Lakers.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
What a legacy.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
He'll have the whole Disney chapter of his life. And
now the Lakers like, yeah, probably big brands for Iger.
Now this week we got to let you know who's ass?
Whose ass?

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Chris Berman's guy has no ass. Someone stole his ass
in the middle.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Of the night.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Stole Chris Berman's ass. He's suffering from no actol is
what they're saying.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
If you haven't seen that, by the way, that's that's
that's where the whole episode is.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Back and we see that respectfully. There's a viral clip
of Berman, who we love. You see Chris Berman with
no ass. I wonder where his crack crack crack crk
crk crek is.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
I oh, we heard that he was visited by the
Booty Bandino in the middle of the night.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Someone stole his ass and with all the negative ass, I.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Mean, the guy with the best nicknames ever, the guy
who's a legend, Chris Berman is at a charity event
golfin doing what he's doing where someone stolen does he
was he? Where's I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
It's a big story this week, or should I say, uh,
not so big of a story. Guy has deflated flapchecks.
But again respectfully, because he's a legend.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah, you're allowed to say respectfully, he has no s.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
I mean, yeah, he has no s. It's a big story, true,
I mean, but what did we expect?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Did we expect some sort of rumpus back there?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Got well?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Who might really be as this week and for the
whole season. We talked about this on the Fox Sports
Radio show and I wanted to reiterate how bad I
think the Arizona Cardinals are going to be.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Well.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
People are kind of high on him because they look
good against the Panthers. That game was back before they
played the Raiders tonight.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
And I was along for the ride saying, oh, you know,
Carson Beck looked good against the Panthers.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Looked poised and composed. He looked like a like a
bona fide NFL quarterback. He really did. So we came
in like pleasantly surprised. But Rich was like, hold up,
we'll schedule a watch. I think they're gonna stink. Rich
is here to tell you, well, as a forty nine
Ers fan, that they're gonna be ass.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
I just think we're looking at Carson back and he
could be composed and look look smooth in the pocket
for a young kid. But he played second and third
string guys on the Panthers.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
It's a good start. He did what he needed to be,
you know done. Maybe in a couple of.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Years that team will be legit, but as of right now,
they have to play. Get this, the Carlins have to
play the Niners, Rams, and Seahawks two times each. They
have to play the AFC West, which means they gotta
play at Mames. They got to play Herbert and the Chargers,
they got to play the Broncos, they got to play
the Raiders later in the season. And there's only one

(13:38):
game that I think is winnable.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
They played the Jets. One game.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
But according to Las Vegas, the Cardinals, according to future Bets,
are seventeen time underdogs every game they're in right now, they're.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Technic LeAnn underdogs. Are you saying they're not going to
get even one win? Shocked? Maybe the Jets. I think
I'm giving them one to two wins. Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Last year Silver Under three and a half ripped the
under Wow for the record, they were three in UH fourteen,
three and fourteen last year in twenty twenty five almost
said twenty five, three and fourteen and twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
And I think they're gonna have over four wins this year.
I do.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
I think, of course, they'll be last in the division.
If you ought a better coffee onud it, I'll go
under your goal. I think they'll be last in the
NFC West, but I think they improve. They make improvements,
so they're gonna be ass but not as ass as
they once were.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
They're not gonna be like Chris Berman.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Ass right, They're gonna.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Be a little bit better than they were last year.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
How can they look pretty good? How sweet of an
ass did the Cardinals have?

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Like a Burman as?

Speaker 2 (14:42):
All?

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Right?

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Well, so Rich is here to tell you that, yeah,
big dreaming, they're just as ass as they were last year,
or maybe more ass well than we thought.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Kids are going back to college, right, Yeah, kids are
going back to school. My kids are in first and
fourth grade now, which is crazy. I know your daughter's
a high school kid. She started her junior year this year,
but we do have buddies. It's weird when you're in
your forties you start to have friends that kids go
to college and it's like they're going away. What that
feels like yesterday for us? And as kids go back

(15:11):
to college, I do have fond memories of my freshman
year watching South Park in the dorms and I saw
that today is the anniversary of the debut of South
Park nineteen ninety seven. South Park debut And I don't
know if you guys remember that short that was floating
around the old school days of the internet, where it
was Jesus versus Sannah and who owned Christmas?

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Do you remember that? It was like a digital short.
I do remember, and people passed it around in emails.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Because there was no social media, so it was like, hey,
I emailed you that Santas.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
The Santa thing.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
So anyway, when you think about your favorite cartoons of
all time in honor of the great South Park, yeah,
there it is Sanna and Jesus.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Matt and Trey doing her thing for launch summer.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
You were watching behind the scenes videos of them on
the mics, their sourse and they're done menory and basketball
is a is a sports classic, and I was so
Usually I don't like to see people make billions. I'm
like jealous, But when they sign that billion dollar contract
with CBS for all the rights, I was like, you know,
South Park deserves that.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
They're always topical, you know, and and they wait till
the last minute to get this. I'm so good the
new episode out, as they show in the documentary. I
give them so much credit for their run and they
pushed the envelope. But I'll give you my top three
when it comes to adult cartoon.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Top three cartoons.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yes, and we're not talking like he man and no, no, no,
you're an adult based like an adult could watch them
right right, Like I'm not talking SpongeBob, even though a
lot of adults like Bob could be an answer.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Though it's a borderline, right, I think it could be. No,
I don't know about that. I mean I do like it, right,
but coming in in number three.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
South Park, they're not my top zero, top the three slot,
three slot. I love the Lemmy Winks episode. It makes
me think of you.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
I'm sorry, what Yeah, the.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Lemmy Winks one. If you don't know it, definitely check
it out. Matt and Trey even made us South Park
characters at one point.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Spot do you have that one? Remember when Rich had
the mullet? You remember that one? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (17:16):
But anyway, South Park number three on my personal countdown
number two. You could say it's borderline, but I'm here
to tell you I.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Think a lot of these are not going to be
borderlo because I think they could be. Oh, there's us.
Remember you had the giving me a mument. You had
a back in the early no no, no, it's not pajamas.
You had a goofy striped shirt on. Yeah. So back
in the protested.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Early two thousands, when we started our show, Rich had
a mel Gibson mullet and that's how you were.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
That's me.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Portrade come in at number two for me, Number two.
Ren and Stimpy, Okay, some of my favorite episodes. Log
was a big part of my life, just their antics,
how Aangren was all the time as steep idiot when
his cousin's Fenn came to visit. Some of those are

(18:06):
my favorites. Uh, don't whiz on the electric fence.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
You know.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
I learned a lot of lessons from Ren and Stimpy,
and that was totally meant for adults, even though kids
enjoyed it.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
Carry number one.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
I know South Park pushes the envelope, but I really
feel like no one did it better than my guys. Uh,
Beavis and butthead you love them, like nobody's cooler than
Todd and Camino and Rich Beavis and butt Heead. In fact,
not to tie it into sports and all, but I
think I discovered them on liquid television playing frog baseball,

(18:44):
playing frog baseball, hitting frogs, and they were a little
segment on liquid television.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Then they had their own cartoon. We enjoyed some Beavis
and Button we'd watched.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Videos together, and I like their movies and I still
till this day love I'm very much a Beavis and
buttead guy.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Number one for me. For me, I'm gonna go number
three now again.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
It is a little bit of a kid show, but
as an adult, I watch this with my kids and
really enjoy it because there's like adult jokes in it.
Gravity Falls, No way, gravity Falls, it's your top three,
top three.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
It's so good.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
You like it because it makes you think you're kids,
but it's but it's it's.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Legit, it's funny. It's like I mean, there's a lot
of newer animated you.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
I mean don't like cartoons that my daughter liked, but
that doesn't mean they're adult cartoons.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
I'm going gravity Falls number three, Number two all about
the Family Guy. You dang Dad's bad?

Speaker 3 (19:33):
How do you leave off Family Guy?

Speaker 1 (19:36):
I like Family Guy and I like the clips. I'm
not a big fan. I don't hate it by any means.
I'm just it doesn't beat the ones I mentioned.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
I don't know how do you have gravity falls? Whip cool?

Speaker 2 (19:48):
I mean Stuwie and Brian yay gravity falls?

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Because I think Dad's bad.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
I just think it's a fun show that kids and
adults could like. But I'm gonna go number one to
me south Park. No south Park one almost thirty years again,
remember the South Park movie?

Speaker 3 (20:05):
What would Brian Bartan do? I know you live by
that code, right, there's that girl that I like. Yeah, no,
I do like that.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
But as far as longevity too, you got to give
honorable mentions to the o G's the Simpsons.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
You know, again, I like things here and there. I'm
not a huge fan, but the Simpsons.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
You know, there's a lot of people that love Aquitine
Hunger Force from back in the day.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
I remember that, you know.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
It Also is make Rick and Morty. People rave about
Rick and Morty Boom Docs, you know.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
But again not our personal favorites, but props to the
adult based cartoons that people love as we celebrate South Park.
What about Mike Typhon's Mystery Mike Type my batter than
even Pigeons?

Speaker 3 (20:48):
So and of my favorite cartoon of the box about
it you gotta get practically I think that was a
little boy like muppy Baby. Yeah, make your dreams come True.
I think there's uh, there's a top three.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
As far as now, all these are just you know,
like as much as you if you love them or not.
Howard Stern was responsible for so many broadcasters or Mike
and the Mad Dog in the sports world, like they
were the godfathers of the genre, right, I think you
do have to give the Simpsons, Beavs some Butthead and
South Park they're all prior to two thousand, So a

(21:20):
lot of these BoJack Horsemen's and all those other ones,
they're all just I mean, the Simpsons were the OG
and Beavs and Butttheader right there with them, and then
South Park soon after. And that's that's like your nineties
because no one was doing adult push the limit cartoons
before then as.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Far as I know, No, not in this way, not
in this way. So we tip our Yankee hats, riches
Met's hat to South Park and these cartoons.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
Which ones did we forget? Which ones do you put
in your top three? Tip your hat or hair helmet?

Speaker 1 (21:50):
I tip my hair helmet, sweet deal on that to
South Park. So hit us up with your favorites at
Covino and Rich on social media, at Fox Sports Radio
