Speaker 1 (00:01):
There's one more secret that I have to tell you.
Leaning close so I can whisper it.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Deputy Bow, the police are here to get you.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
We met John Redhead and he found these.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
I miss Jean, Join me on a trip to Discovery Mountain,
where the air is clear, clear enough to hear your imagination,
and where every day is an exercise in faith. Join
me for today's expedition. The clock is ticking in Jelad.
(00:53):
The Pathfinder leaders have decided on a deadline of nine pm. Well,
it's now eight forty eight pm, and that means that
in twelve minutes the Discovery Mountain Pathfinder bus will be
turning around and driving home. But we heard in our
last episode that Sarah and Carson have the tickets. They
(01:14):
have a solution, but will they make it back to
the rec center before Deputy Bo drives the bus away. Well,
let's join our Pathfinders and exercise our faith with them.
In today's episode called Camparee Miracle.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
Who are we missing?
Speaker 6 (01:32):
Leon has a group still at the rec Center.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
Okay, Harold, Janet, Lana.
Speaker 7 (01:39):
And and Kyler.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
They're running across the parking lot. Now we're back.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
I climb Devil's Tower, me too.
Speaker 8 (01:49):
Wait, how there's a climbing wall in the rec center.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
I want to try it. Oh, but I guess I won't.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Get to find your seat, Jenet.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
Okay, you guys, the climbing wall is the best. You'll
have to try it.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Guys, read the bus.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
What's wrong, dude?
Speaker 5 (02:10):
Look at the time.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
So no solutions yet?
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Nope, I have a hidden talent, not climbing.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
You all should try it, Lanna, find your seat, Please
be ready to set up camp. It's nine minutes until
nine now, and we haven't figured out our ticket problem.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
So unfortunately we're heading home.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
We don't see another way forward.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Really, I guess I just thought you would figure it out.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Yes, well, me too.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
We have a long drive ahead of us. If everyone's
back on the bus, should we set out early? I
we said nine pm.
Speaker 8 (02:49):
Another story, you guys missed a great story about the
Disciples on the road to amais we did?
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Can you tell it again?
Speaker 2 (02:57):
We don't have time for that doing, Natasha.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
We don't. Unfortunately, we do have time to pray, though.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
There's always time for prayer.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Jake, will you lead us?
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Of course?
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Let's pray, Thanks Jake.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Dear Lord, you see the situation with our camp ree
tickets in.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
As chaplain Jake prays. Carson's grandpa turns the last corner
and into the rec center parking lot.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Oh and please keep us safe.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
And amen, amen, what is going on?
Speaker 2 (03:33):
There's a truck outside honking at us. Let me deal
with this. We're not doing anything wrong, and all that
honking is a disruption of the piece.
Speaker 9 (03:42):
I see.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
Look who it is, Deputy Bow.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Well, I'll be.
Speaker 8 (03:49):
Miss Natasha.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Who is it?
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Just a minute, nour and you'll see Deputy baw open
the bus doors.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Hi, everybody said, you're back, Sarah.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
You guys came back.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
We have news.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Oh, Cyrus, why weren't you checking your texts?
Speaker 5 (04:08):
My battery's dead?
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Addison and Brianna, your batteries are dead too.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
Yeah, we haven't had power since we left home.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Mom, that explains it.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
We've been trying to text you all. We have news.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (04:21):
When we left here, a stranger joined us for the walk.
Speaker 10 (04:24):
Who was it?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Well, he wasn't really a stranger at all. It was
John Redhead. You met him too, We sure did, Piper.
Speaker 8 (04:33):
Now do you guys believe me?
Speaker 3 (04:35):
We met John Redhead?
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Feel the energy?
Speaker 3 (04:39):
I believe you.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
So did he say that he can help us?
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Absolutely?
Speaker 5 (04:44):
Sarah?
Speaker 10 (04:45):
Do you have any proof?
Speaker 6 (04:47):
Like?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
What kind of proof?
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Well?
Speaker 11 (04:49):
Did you get a letter from John Redhead that we
can show at the gate or.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
Maybe an audio message from him?
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Mom, we didn't think of that, did we.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
No, we sure didn't. We didn't even recognize him until
he disappeared.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Huh, just like the Disciples and amyas Sarah Carson, are
you going back to Discovery Mountain with us? Or are
you going back to the branch with your parents?
Speaker 5 (05:13):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Grandma and Grandpa? Can they come on the bus and
say hi?
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Hi everyone?
Speaker 10 (05:21):
Am I ever glad to be here? By nine? I
had to speed a little bit. Oh, pretend I didn't.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Hear that, Grandma and Grandpa? These are my Discovery friends.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Well?
Speaker 10 (05:31):
Why are you also quiet? We thought you'd be jumping
for joy?
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Why is that mister Vermilion? Dad?
Speaker 3 (05:38):
I haven't told him yet?
Speaker 10 (05:39):
Oh boy, well tell him, Sarah.
Speaker 3 (05:42):

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Thanks Dad.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
All right, everyone, now this is very exciting, but take
your seats.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Wait, we're forgetting something.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
What is it? Joyce?
Speaker 6 (06:45):
God answered our prayer. We need to thank him.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
You are so right, Joyce. Why did you pray from us?
Speaker 6 (06:53):
Dear Lord, thank you so much for hearing and answering
our prayers. We thought that all was lost, but you provided.
Speaker 5 (07:02):

Dust me?
Speaker 5 (07:33):
How far is it?
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Deputy bo Oh, not fartle. There's almost no traffic tonight,
unlike earlier today.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Thank goodness for that.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
I guess when we about the form to purchase them,
I told Carson to put my parents address down.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Well, it makes perfect sense. They're here in Jellette. We're
here in Jellette.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
I know. I wish that I would have thought of
it earlier.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
John Redhead saved the day.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
So you believe me that we walked with him.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
I believe you. I believe Piper. Sometimes when we're frustrated
or disappointed, we just need someone to walk alongside.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Us for a while. That's very true. Thank you for
what for walking alongside me these past few months.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Well, it's been good getting to know you, Sarah. I'm
so glad you're my friend.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
I'm glad that you're my friend. Oh no, Natasha, it's
a disaster.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Jake, what's a disaster?
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Look at the lines to get into the gates.
Speaker 5 (08:48):
That's the line.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
But how I guess the lines just grew and grew
all day long. We're going to be waiting at least
an hour.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
Oh no, I don't know if this group can take
any more disappointment.
Speaker 11 (09:02):
Oh, there's no way we're going to get everybody to
bed before midnight.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Things might just be getting worse, Deputy.
Speaker 13 (09:11):
Bow, the police are here to get you.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
No, Harold, that's not helpful.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
Everyone in your seats.

talking to you at the rec center.
Speaker 5 (09:53):

Speaker 7 (09:54):
Well, fortunately I ran into Sarah and Carson.
Speaker 1 (09:57):

Speaker 3 (10:03):

Speaker 7 (10:06):
Glad to help, But you know this line is going
to take at least another hour to clear.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
Yes, we can see, but it's all right. We're going
to Camberie.
Speaker 7 (10:15):
How would you like a special escort through cut the line?
I don't know, call it a VIP pass vip pass.
Speaker 5 (10:25):

Speaker 7 (10:27):
Well, then driver, follow my car. I'll flash the lights.

Speaker 1 (10:38):

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Thanks Carson.
Speaker 11 (11:01):
Jeppety boat followed that car.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
As the bus follows John Redhead to the Campery VIP gate.

John Redhead's talking to the gate employee.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
Now, I hope we don't have to turn around and
get back in line.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Nah, he's pointing back to the bush.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Good. And now he's getting back in his car.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Who let's go Pathfinders.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
I can't believe we're finally here.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
That was the longest day ever, I know. Look at
all the tents.
Speaker 6 (12:53):
There's so many people here.
Speaker 8 (12:56):
Look horses where they're in the corral.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
I can't wait to watch some rodeo bens.
Speaker 5 (13:02):
I can't wait for everything.
Speaker 7 (13:08):
Discovery Mountain Pathfinders. Welcome to your new home.
Speaker 5 (13:12):
Thank you so much, Pathfinders. What do we want to
say to Pastor John Redhay, Oh you're welcome.
Speaker 7 (13:20):
Enjoy the weekend, be the energy.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Tell Pathfinders let's set up camp.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
The Pathfinders set up camp and finally dropped into their
sleeping bags well past midnight. Exhausted, they woke up ready
for Camparee, bright and early the next day. They enjoyed
a very full week and Brianna and Gracie, yes, they
did get to join the Top Club Chef competition. Let's
(13:54):
join them.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
Gracie. Stir the beans so they don't stick to the
bottom of I'm stirring.
Speaker 8 (14:01):
Where's the lettuce right next to you?
Speaker 13 (14:04):
And old ladies and gentlemen, our three teams competing for
Top Club Chef are coming to the end of their time.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
I can't see the lettuce.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
You just sent it.
Speaker 13 (14:13):
Flying, and it appears our Discovery Mountains duo has had
a let us set back.
Speaker 8 (14:19):
Just pick it up off the floor and rinse it.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
I can't do that, Greasy. Stir the beans. They're starting
to smoke, and the time is nearly up.
Speaker 8 (14:29):
I got it, keep going, grown up. Just serve the
haysecks without lettuce.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
Okay, okay, corn chips, tomatoes, what's next?
Speaker 8 (14:35):
Salsa quick and olives?
Speaker 5 (14:38):
Okay, salsa now, beans.
Speaker 8 (14:40):
Hurry ten seconds the last careful the beans are hot.
Hold the plate.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
Study good, Now do the next.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
One seven seconds?
Speaker 8 (14:49):
Move it closer. I'm spilling beans everywhere.
Speaker 13 (14:52):
Three two one A. Contestants, your time is up.
Speaker 10 (14:58):
Step away from.
Speaker 8 (14:59):
Your tree, Brianna, we did it.
Speaker 12 (15:03):
Ugh, well, is it really a haystack without lettuce?
Speaker 10 (15:06):
Let's give them a round of applause.
Speaker 13 (15:11):
Path Finders, the judges will now taste your creations.
Speaker 12 (15:15):
I'm so nervous, me too, Gracie.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Look at their haystacks.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
They're perfect.
Speaker 8 (15:22):
Yeah, but look at the first group. Ours looks way better,
I think.
Speaker 13 (15:26):
So Discovering Mountain path Finders. The judges will now taste
your food. Audience quiet, please, oh.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
Gracie, squeeze my hand.
Speaker 8 (15:36):
Okay, praying me too.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
And the judging is complete.
Speaker 13 (15:42):
Contestants take a seat while the judges make their decisions.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
As Brianna and Gracie waited nervously for the judge's decision,
their friends watched expectantly from the audience, and John Redhead
used this moment to talk to someone from Discovery Or
did I say grizzly.
Speaker 7 (16:02):
Hey, Carson pastor John, I'm glad I spotted you. Can
you talk for a minute?
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Sure? Excuse me?
Speaker 5 (16:09):
Guys, Hey, they're gonna announce the winner in a minute.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Oh, I won't leave the tent.
Speaker 7 (16:13):
Okay, good Carson. I was wondering if you'd had a
chance to think about the verses we read at Rockpile.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Oh yeah, I have.
Speaker 7 (16:22):
Do you have any questions about anything?
Speaker 1 (16:24):
I do have one. It's been a great week here
at Campery. I'm really exercising my faith.
Speaker 7 (16:30):
Well that's terrific. That's what we like to hear. But
what's your question.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Well, I was just wondering.
Speaker 13 (16:35):
And ladies and gentlemen, the judges have made their decision.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Oh I need to listen. My friends are competing.
Speaker 7 (16:43):
Okay, I need to talk to the cowboys right over
there in that corral.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Stop buy Okay, I will thanks.
Speaker 13 (16:49):
The judges noted that one dish was missing a crucial
haystack element let us.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Oh no, but the beans.
Speaker 13 (16:58):
Were the best they'd ever taste. The winners of Top
Club Chef are.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Come on.
Speaker 13 (17:05):
Come on, Brianna and Gracie Harris from the Discovery Mountain Club,
Good job you too.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Who Brianna and Gracie did it? And there's one more
surprise in store for our friends. We'll find out what
it is right after this.
Speaker 10 (17:28):

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Let's join Natasha and Sarah as they keep an eye
on the pathfinders during the busy Camber Friday.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Look at the sheep mutton busting.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
The kids actually ride the sheep then.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Yes, it's a great rodeo event, Natasha, Look is.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
That Uni and Piper yep? Look at them go, they're
doing awesome.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Jaziah, why aren't you out there writing a sheep?
Speaker 6 (18:43):
Well, Kauziah, it's all right to admit what you discovered.
Speaker 12 (18:48):
Well, it turns out, yes, go on, I'm more of
a rodeo spectator than to participant.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Ah, so you like watching more than you like participating.
Speaker 12 (19:00):
Yeah, you know. It turns out some horses are really
much bigger in real life than I realize.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
Yes, they are. My blaze can be a little frightening
close up if you're not used to horses.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
But what about the sheep they're so cute?
Speaker 12 (19:15):
Well, the thing is, sheep are a lot smellinger in.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Real life than I realize, and messier.
Speaker 6 (19:22):
So you're more of a rodeo fan than a cowgirl, right, Becauzaiah.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Yep, Well that's all right. Every rodeo needs its fans.
Speaker 12 (19:32):
That was so much fun, Piper, I'm your biggest fan.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Do you guys see Hugo.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
Hugo, Look he's running a sheep.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Now, oh my goodness, he's going to fall.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
Yougo, hold on tight, you go, and there he goes.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
Mutt investing is tougher than it looks.
Speaker 5 (19:54):
You go, kego, Okay, now he looks a bit Hugo.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
Come here, you guys are embarrassing me.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Sorry, Hugo, it looks like Rodeo is at your thing.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
Definitely not.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
But building blocks.
Speaker 5 (20:12):
Are Sarah and I were going there next.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Oh yeah, can we all go?
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (20:17):
But who's your leader, mister Olsen? Okay, run over and
tell them that you're coming with us. All right, Joyce,
do you want to join us?
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Sorry, but I have to get over to the boots.
I promised my niece i'd bring her home some pins. Ooh, well,
you better go have fun.
Speaker 8 (20:34):
Bye, Fiah.
Speaker 12 (20:37):
Thanks for the cowboy hat because I I love it. Well,
it turns out you're a natural piper.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Okay, you guys, let's go see the building blocks.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
The group walked from the mutton busting Corral and across
the campgrounds to the big tent with the block building contest.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Whoa all?
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Are they going for a world record or something? I've
never seen so many building blocks in my life.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
Actually, we are going for a world record, a Guinness
Book of World Records. Really, yes, there's a new world
record attends at every camperree.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Look at this place. I'm in heaven.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
So that really did happen. I didn't imagine it. Nope,
it really happened. Well, now that is a Camberre miracle.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
Camboree Week flew by, and the Pathfinders packed up their
tents and climbed back on the bus. They have one
more stop before going home, and the teens have one
more surprise.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
All right, let's exit the bus slowly. Everyone, please be
respectful to mister Vermilion.
Speaker 10 (22:09):
Welcome to the ranch, Pathfinders.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
Oh thanks, mister Vermilion.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Henry, we can't go to the horse yet.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
Stay with the group.
Speaker 12 (22:17):
But oh, man, I was really hoping I could ride
Blaze today.
Speaker 10 (22:21):
Well you're in luck, young man. Everyone who wants to
take a turn riding Blaze can.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Yes, all right, I'll just watch.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
From a distance, all right, young lady.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
And a visit to the ranch wouldn't be complete without
my famous pancake breakfast.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Ooh, pancakes are my love language.
Speaker 10 (22:42):
They might be, but chaplain, Jake, My grandson made you
a promise.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
You did, Carson, Yeah, I promise you that you could
ride a Blaze.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
My horse, son. She's still technically my horse.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Okay, our horse.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Okay, but what if I maybe don't want to ride
the horse?
Speaker 1 (23:00):
You don't well, I.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Mean I do, But.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
Is that a room there?
Speaker 11 (23:05):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
I just don't know if I can do this.
Speaker 10 (23:16):
I'll help you, son, you will, of course.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Right then I'll do it.
Speaker 3 (23:22):

the day.
Speaker 5 (24:14):

Speaker 1 (24:16):

Speaker 7 (24:18):
I never want to forget this moment.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Hey, you guys, let's walk back to the ranch house.
Speaker 5 (24:23):
Oh good, idea, we'll be first in line for pancakes.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Well, I actually wanted to tell you all something.
Speaker 10 (24:31):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Well, the night that my mom and I walked back
here to the ranch was interesting.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
Yeah, you really didn't recognize John Redhead.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
No, but we had a really good conversation at rock Pile.
Oh yeah, yeah. We talked about trusting God and he
read some verses to us. You had a Bible study
at rock Pile. We did.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
That's so cool.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
Yeah, and you know it got me thinking thinking about
what well about God and the Bible and stuff.
Speaker 5 (25:02):
Oh that's great.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Yeah. And the other day, Pastor John asked me if
I wanted to study so that I could be baptized eventually.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
No way, what you say?
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Surprisingly?
Speaker 5 (25:14):
I said yes, Carson, that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Amazing man.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
It's kind of private, though, So don't tell anyone else, okay,
like not even your mom. Oh no, my mom knows.
She says she might study too.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
Oh, Carson, we won't tell anyone. Best friends keep secrets, right, guys, absolutely.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
Till the end. There's one more secret that I have
to tell you. Oh yeah, yeah, leaning close so I
can whisper it. Okay, I'm going to beat you to
the kitchen for pancakes.
Speaker 7 (25:46):
Oh I'm not even gonna try and kitchen. My man's
going to study for baptism.
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Best day ever, Director, Doug. It sure sounds like the
cambore ended, well, didn't it.
Speaker 6 (26:05):
It did.
Speaker 15 (26:06):
Carson's studying to be baptized, and Jake rode a horse right.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
And Hugo was so overwhelmed with happiness that he hugged Natasha.
Speaker 15 (26:17):
Cabare miracles, all of them.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
Yes, you know, I'm wondering if any of you listening
