Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hi, This is Tony Ariami and welcome to my show
where I seek to equip every believer to rise up
to their kingdom identity as sons and daughters and to
occupy their spheres till Jesus comes join me in this
series called the Divine Blueprint, unveiling spiritual keys to divine success.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
We've been speaking about effective leadership. Yes, effective leadership. Leadership
is not about being efficient. Leadership is about being affected.
God creates leaders for one reason, to remedy tasking situations.
(00:53):
And so the fact that there's a costume situation, here's
the very reason God for the leader there. God creates
leaders to remedy tasking situations, and leadership, by the way.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Applies to life. You're here to find a solution too
difficult and challenging tasks.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
But leadership plays out in all aspects of life, including merit,
in including employment, completing everything. If you learn the laws
of leadership, the laws of leadership.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Will secure you in every area of life.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Leadership is about successfully completing challenges. God did not create
He needers to try. He created leaders to finish. And so,
just like we spoke about in the law of effective leadership,
(01:56):
spoke about vision, because vision is very important because and
helps you see the end from the beginning, and you
must know the end.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
You must know the end if you're going to move.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
In leadership quality second technically for over seven says I've
fought a good fight, I've finished the race, I have
kept the faith.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
When it comes to.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Leadership in the biblical tense, the eyes of God are
always on the finish line, and so leader's eyes two
must equally be on the finish line. To be a
successful leader. It's not about how smart, how strong, how tall,
how good lucky you are. All of these things are variables.
(02:45):
What makes leaders is how well we manage the constant
call time. We've not all been given looks easily equally.
We've not all been given stature equally. We've not all
been given health equally, or any of those things equally,
money equally. But the one thing we have been equally
(03:09):
a portion is time. And if you respect time, it
will respect you. If you violate the law of time,
then you will reach at age very quickly where you
look back and you'll wonder how did we get here
(03:30):
so fast? Gonna make every second count. This is why
David said, show me how to number my days? Well, please, yes,
he's nine. Verse eleven says I have seen something else
under the sun. The race is not to the swift,
or the battle to the strong, nornder stood come to
(03:50):
the wise, or wealth to the brilliant, or favor to
the learned. If wealth came to the brilliant, how many
of you know a lot of our school and university
teachers will be very wealthy by now. Wealth does not
come to people because they're brilliant. The race is not
(04:13):
one because you're swift. The battle is not one because
you're strong. How many of you know there are people
in the world who can sing better than Rihanna, But
yet Rihanna is at the top. So this race we're in, Solomon,
the wisest man in the world, observed, and he said,
(04:36):
the race isn't always to the fastest. The battle isn't
always to the strong lists nor does food come to
the wise, or wealth to the brilliant, or favor to
the learned. But time and chance happen to them all.
(04:57):
I'm gonna say it again, Time and chance happen to
them all.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
I'm gonna say one more time.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Time and chance happen to all of them. Time plus
chance equals opportunity. And whether you know it or not,
the most prophetic person in the world is the person
who can spot opportunity the most profeed I listen, I
(05:25):
don't care if you can. If you can prophesy my name,
my surname, and my grandma's name, if you are prophetic.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Enough, you can spot opportunity.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
This is why Jesus was able to say to the disciples,
my time is not yet done. In other words, this
is not the opportunity time. You are only as prophetic
as your capacity.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Just study and observe.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
When time and chance come together, let it raven ill
Like this, the opportunity of a lifetime must be seized
within the lifetime of the opportunity. Every opportunity has a lifetime,
It has a lifespan. It doesn't matter how unready you are.
When your opportunity comes knocking, you must seize it. Some
(06:19):
people miss opportunity because they're trying to be ready for
the opportunity. If you've ever missed an opportunity, the reason
you miss an opportunity is because you are trying to
be equipped and adequate and ready, and you get your
own voice telling you you're an adequate. You don't have
enough this, you don't have enough that. Think of Moses.
(06:42):
At the time of this calling, this man felt like
he was unready in all areas. In fact, he gave
God five eyes. If you read it proughly, he gave
God five eyes. God, who am I the eye of
in security? God? Who are you the eye of ignorance? God?
Speaker 3 (06:57):
What do I have?
Speaker 2 (06:58):
The eye of insufficient See God, I'm not eloquent of speech.
The eye of incompetence. God sends somebody else the eye
of inadequacy. All of these eyes I I, I I
eye to God. None of them look humble to God.
He was looking at him, saying, you are going to
(07:19):
miss your opportunity when you're so focused on yourself. This
is this is this is this is my favoritest. If
I can make up a word, and.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
I'm going to make up a word, I'm on the
ring to change it.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
If I can make up a word, make for this
is my This is my favorite favorite scripture in the Bible.
I want to show you in the Book of Ruth,
in the Book of Ruth, Ruth chapter one, Ruth, Chapter one,
I want to show you how powerful this thing called
(07:53):
tim and chance is that this is the number one
reason many of us miss it. By the way, I
want to show you how powerful, how cult you're this news.
In the days, one of the judges ruled there was
a famine in the land. Understand, first parameter recession. Did
you hear this? First parameter recession. There was a famine
and a certain maounth for Bethlehem and Judah, with his
(08:15):
wife and two sons, went to reside in the land
of Moab. The maga's name was Alimolet, his wife was Naimi,
and the name of his sons were Malone and chill On.
They were ephracized from Bethlehem and Judah. Now Miami's husband,
Emma Liimelete, died and she was left for her two
sons who also died. So me say, ripple breathement. So
(08:35):
if you have a recession, then you have a woman
who's lost her husband, and then you have a woman
who has lost.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Her two kids.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
So she's not just how to bring Liz. She's also childless,
but look what the Bible, and she's also grandchildless, so
she's lost hope for the future as well. Follow me
very closely. When Naomi heard in Moab. Yes, Lord, that
the Lord had visited his people in sending them food.
(09:08):
She and her daughters in law prepared to leave the
land of Moab. Accompanied by her two daughters, she left
the place where she had been living to go back
to Judah.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Now look at this.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
When she heard opportunity was somewhere else, she left the
land that she left in she grew up in. Her
family was there. She remembers her son's bedroom, her two
boys bedrooms were all there in the house. Everything she
left it when opportunity came knocking. I want you to
(09:44):
understand today, at the time of your greatest opportunity, Satan
will send your greatest trials.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
This woman had.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Her greatest moment of opportunity, but in the midst of
the opportunity, everybody around, in the midst of opportunity died.
This is a woman that qualifies to stay where she is.
In fact, she actually told Ruth, don't call me Naomi,
which means great, call me Mapra, which is where we
(10:15):
get mary, or mirriam from which means bitter. For the
Lord has dealt bit only with me. But I want
you to understand something very powerful. This is a woman
who's suffering chronic depression. She's had three comorbid experiences, and
she's suffering from com morbidity. She's suffering from depression. She's
clinically probably clinically depressed. She's lost everything, her household goods.
(10:40):
But when time and transtained, she moved.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
I hope you get this.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
The difference between you and somebody else is not that
we all don't have emotions. It is that when people
spot opportunity, they don't let their emotions have them. We
sent this from the beginning. Get In and his three
hundred men, tired yet pursuing. You'll discover that life and
leadership is really about the management, not for shutting down,
(11:11):
the management of emotions. You'll discover that as you progress
in this thing called leadership, you have to have a
good sense of emotional boundaries. Otherwise you're not going to
make an effective leader. This woman, this woman went through
every experience you can imagine in the book. But look
(11:31):
what it says about her. When the opportunity came, she
wasn't going to let her grief. She wasn't gonna let
her pain, she wasn't gonna let her sorrow hold her
back from opportunity. I feel sorry for people who who
let opportunities swing them by because they're going through a
(11:52):
season that they can't explain or describe. People like this
don't show up for opportunities. Do you know this Leadership
training is an opportunity? Even this that I'm doing for
you today is called an opportunity. I want you to
understand that. And you can miss the opportunity in familiarity,
(12:15):
you can miss the opportunity. In grief. You can miss
the opportunity in so many different ways. You can miss
the moment that is supposed to release your greatness. Leadership training,
discipleship training is the opportunity. And if you miss these moments,
(12:37):
then you can easily.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Miss a moment of thrain.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
To just think about this while I'm teaching you today
is preparing you for an opportunity that's coming. That this
time it comes, you're not going to let your emotions
stop you from getting it.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Remember what the Lord said to Samuel.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
The Lord said to Sammy, how long will you greathe
over Saul? Do you know you can out stay your
season in grief? Do you know you can outstay your
season in grief? And the poors God breeze with those
that grief and in marns with those that mourn. But
(13:12):
you know what, do you know what? Do you know
how many opportunities you have missed because of depression? Do
you know how many moments you've missed because of grief.
I'm telling you somebody's like told me, you know, I
can't afford this this course. So oh, somebody says, think
(13:34):
I can't afford what you're doing in the school. I said,
you can't afford not to. When you understand opportunity, you
can't afford not to. I told you all this story
about how I started a business many years ago and
the business made.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Me quite quite wealthy. And I'll tell you how it happened.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
It happened because a man, Rangel, pulled me to his house.
He heard about me on social media and he called
me to his house to have some coffee.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
And as we're sitting down having some.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Coffee, he starts to tell me about a business he
got involved in.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
I said, okay, that's great. Here we go again.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Somebody's trying to sell you into a business.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Right, So he's telling me about this business.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Trick, my hee, you go again. Brain starts kicking in.
Then he starts telling me how much he's making from
this business.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
I said, you're making that much?
Speaker 2 (14:23):
He said, wow, what are you going to tell me
what he's doing?
Speaker 1 (14:25):
So?
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (14:25):
I could do that in my sleep. He said, Tony,
it's going to cost you a thousand pounds. I said,
I've never seen it. Back then, I was so poor.
I never saw a thousand pounds in my life. A
thousand pounds was huge. A thousand pounds.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
If somebody gave me a thousand pounds, I would cry.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
I still cry, but I was weep and blubber.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
A thousand pounds, somebody gave you a thousand pounds, Oh
my goodness, I'd be so excited. I think I was
the richest person in the world just for a thousand
out in seed, right, I said, I've never seen a
thousand pounds in my life. He said, tell me, if
I told you what's your favorite car.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
I told him favorite called range Rover. Everybody knows me
raised Rover, black tinted windows. Sports Did it if I
told you that range Rover was going to be available
tomorrow for brand new condition one thousand.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Pounds, would you find the money?
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Says yes, I would.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
All of a sudden when the motivation check. When when
the motivation changed, My emotions were driven rightly, not towards
what is unachievable, but to what is possible. So all
of a sudden you realize all human beings need is
a right incentive. Many of us miss the moment because
(15:37):
we don't realize how powerful our emotions are to drivers.
In the opposite way from righteous incentives. God wants to
show you righteous incentives. He wants to show you what's
on the other side. So God's like, hey, if you
will do this, I'll do this. If you'll get rid
of the giants, I'll give you the lad you know.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
But it's all.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
About what incentivizes you upon this journey of the lead shit.
So he says, how long will you mourn over Saul
for Samuel sixteen, verse one, seeing as I have rejected him,
I've chosen one of his sons to be go to
the house of Jesse. I've chosen one of his sons
to be king. In other words, here's a new opportunity.
But he can't see this new opportunity because that's what
(16:17):
Greek does. Go tell you how much emotions affect opportunity.
Emotions a fact opportunity so much, I'm gonna show you.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
Actually in Exus chapter six, look at this exis chef
to six.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
The Bible says, and God's boke to Moses and said
to him, I'm the Lord. I hed to Abraham, Isaac
and jacoble on the way, blah blah blah. Therefore, say
to the children of Israel, I am the Lord. I
will bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians.
I will rescue from their bondage, and I will redeem
you with an outstretched arm and great judgments. I will
(16:54):
take you as my people, and I will be your God.
Then you shall know that I am the Lord, your God,
who brings you out from the burdens of Egypt, and
I will bring you into a lamb that I just
want to give Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and I will
give it to you as a heritage.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
I am the Lord.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
So wow, this is great.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Right.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Moses goes back to speak to children of Israel, telling
them about this wonderful opportunity Lord, it says verse nine,
But they did not heed him because of anguish of
spirit and cruel bondage. They couldn't hear this wonderful thing.
That means your grief care you your ability to hear
(17:36):
and receive the prophetic word. Grief can make you miss opportunity.
Depression can make you miss opportunity. That's why the Bob says,
God the heart with all diligence, because out of it
flows the issues of life. For some reason, God leaves
the custodianship of our lives our hearts to us, to
(17:58):
steward and frankly, I believe we are the worst supervisors
of our heart. I believe we give our heart to
people who we know are gonna hurt us, people we
know are gonna break us. And then by the time
we give it to our husbands and our wives, we
give what's left after what's been beaten up. I don't understand,
but that's human behavior. We trust the wrong people. We
get disappointed by the people we appointed in the first
(18:21):
place because we give our hearts too easily. But the
boss is God your heart. You see, if you're gonna
effectively lead, you've got to effectively lead.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
By the darling of your heart.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
And let me tell you something, God your heart from
bad people, and God your heart from good people. Yes,
you'd heard me guard it from bad people, guarded from
good people. Keep a God upon your heart. It's in
the instruction of the Lord to God your heart. Guard
it from negative Nancis, you want to tell you why
(18:55):
the vision God gave you isn't going to work. Don't
shit down in a room with people who are going
to tell you. Let me show you this scripture.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
I'm gonna show you this scripture. Watch is number thirteen.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
I want to tell you this thing is spiritual. This
thing is very spiritual. Opportunity is so spiritual that one
negative word can set your destiny back forty years. I
said that one more time, one negative word can set
(19:30):
your destiny back forty years. That's why me me personally.
Back in the day when we wanted to start a
campus scholarship in Hartfordgire University, somebody came to us and
they told us not to do it, and we said why.
I said, it's not time. We're not ready yet, things
(19:50):
aren't in place yet. But it was the opportunity time.
We're not ready yet, things are in place yet, nothing's ready,
so let's.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Not do it right now.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
This is what they said to me, right And in response,
I looked at them and I said, actually, we're gonna
do it.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
We're gonna do it.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
We are going to succeed in this endeavor. And they said,
oh uh, I'm sorry. Every other campusship has thrive and
failed because they want LGBTQ people up on the board
of campus scholarships. So you start one. So I don't
think you guys should do this. Maybe join the Christian Union.
I said, no, we're gonna set up our own followship
(20:27):
and we're gonna succeed.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Let me, ladies and gentlemen, we.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Three years later had sixteen plus campus scholarships set up
on university campus. And the lady that said don't do
it became one of the passes of the campus starship
and it's still a pastor today one of the camp scholarships.
Why because let me tell you something, when ever you
start your course of destiny, expect the Tobias and Sambalats
to be round around the corner. Tobia and Sambalat will
(20:54):
tell you it's not time to build this house, it's
not time to do this vision.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Look, if only if.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
So much as a as a stone touches this house,
it's gonna be knocked out. Then they'll send profits to
you to prophety. Oh I had a prophetic word near Mayah,
don't build this house, and the bob says Neermyah discerned
that these prophets were not sent by the law, but
were sent by Tobien Sambala to weaken the hands of
the builders. Don't let negative people weaken your hands. Don't
(21:23):
let good people weaken your hands. And let me tell
you something. Don't walk away without telling them it's going
to work. Your silence is acceptance. This is spiritual warfare.
Every tongue that rises against you in judgment, the Bible
says you shall condemn. It is that your past is
(21:45):
will condemned, your leaders will condemned. That means you have
to have the voice to say, actually, this will succeed.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Remember what Elijah.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Said when he said a piece of bowling will be
sold for like one denari. They looked at him. Somebody
said it's never gonna happen. We've been in fami to well,
he said, after it is gonna happen, and you're gonna
see it, and you're not going to enter into it.
Because every tongue that rides against you in judgment, you
must condemn. Otherwise it will play on your mind and
(22:14):
it will rob you of your opportunity if you don't
learn to speak to good people who meet very well,
but you don't learn to say, excuse me, I'm gonna
hold the guard against you, because destiny killers are around
every corner, and destiny killers are nice people. When it
(22:35):
came time for the children of Israel to cross over
to the Promised Land, Moses sent spies to spy out
the land. And they came back from spying out the land,
and they said that the land indeed flows with milk
and honey. Nevertheless, the people who dwell there are strong,
(22:58):
The cities are fortified and very very large. Moreover, we
saw the descendants of the Antebet, the Amalachit dwell in
the land of the south, the Hittites of the Germicide,
the Emirits dwell in the mountains. The ten Knights dwell
by the sea banks of Jordan. Then Caleb quieted the
people and before Moses, and said, let us go up
(23:18):
and take possession of it, for we are able to
overcome it. But the men who had gone up with
him said, we are not able to go up against
this people, for they are stronger than we, and they
gave the children of Israey a bad report of the
land they spied out. Now in the next chapter, God
curses them to a fourteen year wondering because they allowed
(23:42):
one negative word to be sown into their midst. You
have to be careful to guard your heart with all
diligence against negative nancies. The Bible says in numbers fourteen
twenty eight at twenty nine, sorry thirty well twenty nine,
(24:05):
the caucasses of whom have complained against me shall fall
in the wilderness. Of all who were numbered according to
the entire number for twenty years old and above, except
for Caleb and Joshua, you shall by no means enter
the land which I swore that you shall dwell therein.
(24:28):
And actually the reason they say it is because of
verse twenty four. Everyone will not be allowed in, but
my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and
has followed me fully. You must possess the spirit of leadership,
and the spirit of leadership is this strength and courage.
(24:49):
Strength and courage is the spirit of leadership. So when
people come to me and tell me that I can't,
I tell them why, God says I can. You must
be like Joshua and Caleb when they say it cannot
be done. Don't let people talk you out of your destiny.
Don't let people's words have brought you from your moment
(25:14):
of opportunity. You must be ruthless to be ruth Ruth
was so ruthless that she let God her just to
step into destiny. Had she listened to author, she would
have stayed in Moa. You must be ruthless to be
ruth about destiny, about purpose and about the thing God
(25:35):
told you to do. Do you know how many prophets
prophesied to me that God didn't tell me to start
rig Do you know how many people come to me
and give me prophecies to this day that God's told
me to start and slow down and do all to
break Excuse me, You've got to be strong. Niceness is
not a fruit of the spirit. You gotta be tough
(25:59):
with people. You've got to tell people why God said
that you're going to be. God said you're going to be,
and you're gonna do.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Who got what, dolts what you're gonna do. Most of
you are.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Burned out by people who tell you what's in your
bank account? Most of you are burned out by people
who tells you what you're able to. Most of you
are burnt out on your spouses. And you've got to
learn to speak to your spouse too. You gotta learn
to speak. You gotta learn hey, hey, hey, honey, hey honey.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
We're not gonna speak doubt. We're gonna speak faith.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
And if your partner's not a person of faith, you
walk into your room, shut the bathroom door, and you speak.
But never be silent when somebody tells you you can't,
because it will enter you and it will kill you
and kill you your opportunity. Thanks for tuning in. If
