Speaker 2 (00:24):
Welcome back to Quiet Please Cure here Mel here? Hi?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
How are you?
Speaker 4 (00:29):
Hii?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
I'm good? How are you? Oh? Good?
Speaker 3 (00:33):
You know?
Speaker 5 (00:34):
Are we?
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I know?
Speaker 4 (00:35):
I just got back last night. I've got a week off,
my first one in like six weeks.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
What are you gonna do?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Well?
Speaker 4 (00:42):
Funny you say that, Well, you know what it's like
when you're away so much. I'm getting my brows done tomorrow.
I've got a meeting with the golf course on Wednesday,
so we'll see how that goes.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Oh is this to let you in to potentially be
a member?
Speaker 4 (00:54):
Yeah, so we'll see if they hope you have not
done any background checks.
Speaker 5 (00:58):
And I'm good to go.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
And call me.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
I'll say good things.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Thank you, thank you. And then it's Mother's Day, isn't it?
This weekend? So I have booked as a cabin in
the Rockies because we were going to do a hike
in the Rockies anyway, and I thought, well, let's just
make a weekend of it.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
So we've booked a nicelf cabin for me, Carl and Kai.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
But you guys split, yeah those days because the UK
has a different.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Yes, so the mains day yeah, I think is in March.
And then obviously your your guys is this So it's
all about Carli. So I booked her a massage while
I take highway for a couple hours.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
So I'm on top of it, so thoughtful.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
Well, she deserves it. She's been on the fort down for.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, on the roight yeah. Yeah, so yeah, so we're excited.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
We it's funny. It's I don't know, whenever I'm on
the road lot, I just want to stay at home.
But I'm like, no, let's explore where we live because
if I'm not careful, I become a bit of a
hobbit and.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Just want to just do the same things.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
I'm a creature of habit and so I'm quite proud
that I was that I booked it.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
And I'm why, let's do it. It'll be fun.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
No log cabin, Yeah, it's cute, actually be fun.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
But you I'm home today and tomorrow and then if
you're listening to this on Wednesday, I'm currently flying in
the air.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
To Stamford where you just were. Yep, because I'm going
to be doing.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Golf Channel, Golf Central with Notabigator the third best hair
in golf degree when Mel wears her hair down, and
then that's a different conversation.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
So that's the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
But it's the truest this week, Donna quill Hollow, it
used to be the Wills, Fargo and Rory mclroy is
playing for the first time since semesters.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
That's the whole thing. So yeah, I had the last
last of or the most of last week at home. Good,
just very nice, good talking of my hair down.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Actually, so before I went on air yesterday for the
front and round of the River Mayer in Mexico for
the LPGA event, I just wanted to pick the brain
of the legend, Meg Mallon and she says, before we
get into it, I saw you with your hair down.
She's like, I've never seen you look like that. I
was like, I know, Meg, I think it's becoming a thing.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
So you're you're like, I know, Meg, I'm entering a
whole different era broadcaster.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Mel exactly, no more top bun male. It's broadcaster male
from now on.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Good thing you didn't call the podcast top bun.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
I can imagine would be screwed now because that was
one of one of my names for it that I
originally wanted for it wasn't it.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
But thanks you just been committed to the top bun.
I've had to wear a top bun, and let me
tell you this is much better.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
That's not my brand.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
You ever, you do wear a top bun, don't you? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I mean like yeah, but I'm doing lunch.
Speaker 5 (03:46):
Yeah, see mine's like all the time.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah, the way that you do yours, that's that's a
skill I don't. I've never been you know how some
people just effortlessly put their hair in the top bun.
Mine looks ridiculous. It was thing in high school to
have a cool top bun, and I just never I
never mastered the art.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
But that's neither here nor there.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Well has a bit shortened out, so I can't really
do a messy top and like I used to. But
the thing is with my messy top burn and my
friends will allude to this is whenever we would go
to the bar, you could tell by how John Car's
getting because it's just getting floppier and floppier, like this
pictures me, Like literally, I look like Napoleon Dynamite skirl friend.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
So now you don't know you're a little meter.
Speaker 5 (04:30):
Yeah, it's just like, okay, it's flopping. She needs to go.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
It's time. It's completely horizontal. We're out.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
It smelted to go home, all right.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Well, speaking of the Riviera Maya, you got to be
on the call as Nellie Corda one for the eighteenth
time on the LPGA tour.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
She crushed it.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
She won by four and she hasn't finished outside of
the top two on the LPG eight and six starts,
which is pretty wild. Like she could have won her
first six starts in a row and just happened to
get beat by Kyoju.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
Yeah. Two players would be this year Yoju Kim and
Long Cocklan. Yeah, which is insane.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
I mean look, I thought it's awesome that she plays
in Mexico. She could have quite easily taken that right
after the Chevron Yeah, but she committed to it. She
took Monday off to relax, and she just picked off
right where she left off.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
I'm just going to say this.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
I think I posted about it yessay, she is playing
she's the best girl from the world, male of female
right now.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
You think she's better than Scottie Schaffer, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
Right now?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yeah and Camerin Young. Yeah I do bring back, Yeah
I do.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
I do love it.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
I think the way that she's playing every single aspect
of her game is a joke.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
So yeah, I this is I kind of said this.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
I think if she just sorted out some short put,
she's going to go on a massive heater.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
And this is the heater. So she's done this.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Obviously a couple of years ago where she won seven
times in one season. But this is a different maturity
I'm seeing in Nelly. She's not getting quite down on herself,
and I feel like another the opportunity. The LPGA has
a second opportunity here, because I feel like we didn't
quite capitalize on the first time as much as moving
the needle as we would have liked. This is now
(06:24):
a massive opportunity for the LPGA to capitalize in it,
and they need to do it correctly.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
At LPGA.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
Come on, guys, yeah, come on.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
We're not fumbling it this time. No, protect Nelly.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
It all costs, but this is where we can really capitalize,
getting people through the door and marketing is the way
the LPGA is right now, because this is the dream.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
I mean, what a gift I know, to not only
go on a run like this once but twice, and
who knows how much more she's got. I mean, it
seems like she's barely scratched the surface of what she
can do if she can stay in this mode. Yeah,
which is obviously really hard to do, and that's not
something that anyone expects for her to stay at that level.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Scotty's stayed there for yeah, pretty long time now.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
So and she's only four points. She's four points off
the LPGA Hall of Fame. I think she's going to
do that by August.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Cool.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
So there's the LPGA Hall of Fame and then there's
the World Golf Hall of Fame. But aren't the World
Hall of Fame point points a little crazier?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Isn't there weird stuff there?
Speaker 5 (07:32):
I don't Isn't the word Golf Hall of Fame just
for men? No? Okay?
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Well, the mess up thing is it's actually harder to
get an LPJ Hall of Fame than it is like
the PJ tool or the World Hall of Fame.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
There's something.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Oh it's the LPGA's that's got an insane amount of points.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Okay, yeah, that is stupids. Twenty seven points.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
She went two points from major one for a regular event,
one like two for a gold medal at the Olympics. Like,
it's insane. It's so difficult to do, which is why
so few have got in. Like Laura Davis isn't in it,
and she's one like eight eight times worldwide.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Lord Davies is not on the LPGA Hall of Fame. No,
all right, I know who's in charge of this thing.
I don't know, but I might run for it to
be in charge of it. Yeah, why not? Okay, I
support you.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
I don't know if my vote counts, but vote for
Mel for Commissioner of the LPGA Hall of Fame. Yeah,
changing rules and lives worldwide at Laura Davies.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
Yeah, Lord Days would be in.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
I would have to vet them to see if they're
an assholef they're an asshole, they're not getting in, no
matter how much they're wont you you just can't get
being an asshole. But that would be my only thing,
and it would be twenty points.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Twenty points yeah, okay.
Speaker 5 (08:41):
So I'm only nineteen points off it, but what.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
You're lacking in actual points you make up.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
I would probably introduce my I'd probably inductee myself, induct
myself and it would be an inductee.
Speaker 5 (08:57):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
It's been a long week here, you know what I mean.
I'm not great with my literacy, so yeah, listen, I think.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I'm just we're gonna move fast that one.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
Okay, did I just preeve myself?
Speaker 4 (09:11):
Right?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (09:12):
Again, you're welcome. I know I need to read more.
I need to.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
I actually wrote it on the plane. I was like,
you need to read more because I yeah. Anyway, naw,
he's on, he's lpga. Come on, let's let's get this
(09:35):
market they're doing.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
We're saying this in love and we support you and
we think you're doing a great job.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Sweedie.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
You're you're crushing it if you're doing the most in
the in the best way, and we we want to
continue to support as you do even more and bring
up female golf.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah exactly, So we're we're saying this in a positive way.
We're absolutely light that fire. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Also, as an aside, Nelly's going to be an auntie
times too, because Jess Corter announced that she's pregnant.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
I know, baby number two.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
How exciting, so cute, I know, I know, yeah, awesome Jess.
Obviously I love Jess as soon as I found out
a text. But yeah, have you seen Grayson run by
the way her son? He's quick.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
I mean, I know, surprise, the whole family just they
just are athletes.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
But I think we've determined that the quarters are just
better at life than most. That's true. Oh, yeah, that
is true. Shocked by that? Yeah, no, that is very true,
very true. He could be anything he wants. He could
be a tennis bro.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
He could be a pinational golfer, although if he wants
to put his running to good use, perhaps tennis will
be better.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Keep play in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
I don't know how to literally, so grace anything, looking
forward to seeing, looking forward.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
To it, looking forward to commentating. And I got to
commentate with Kelly Tolman yesterday.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Oh how was it?
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Also obviously, so if people don't know, and Kelly knows this.
So Ketty was obviously on the Golf channel for years
back in the day, and she's one of the reasons
I wanted to get into broadcasting because I used, obviously
watch her every single week when I was like a teenager,
and I was like, this girl's fucking awesome. So she's
actually one of the reasons that I actually got interested
in broadcasting. So it was a really cool moment yesterday
(11:19):
that I was called in the golf with us.
Speaker 5 (11:21):
So it was awesome.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Okay, So moving on to the PGA Tour, Cameron Young
dominated at Durraalm in Miami. Scotty did try to catch him.
It was his third runner up finish in a row,
which is wild. But Cam Young had a six shot win,
his second win of the season that included a penalty
(11:44):
he called on himself on the second hole and he
still made part of there because obviously he caused the
ball to move. So two questions, One, what do you
think of Cam just absolutely wipe waxing everybody? And two
have you ever had that situation where you've had to
call a penalty and yourself?
Speaker 4 (12:01):
So Cameron Young, I think in the last year he's
the player that we all thought. I mean the fact
that you know he won the end of last year.
He then at the players he won with all the
big names chasing him, and then he has Scotty Chefter
down his you know, down his back, breathing down his
back the whole time, and down his neck the whole time,
and managed to bat him off. I think I'm a
(12:22):
big fan of Cam Young. I remember I've told this story,
so I won't tell it again. But a grand thought
him when he had his three kids going down to breakfast,
I had Ki and we just.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
Kind of gave each other a look like, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
And I only had one.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Kid at the time and he had three, and I
was like, we're in this together. We're doing daddy daycare
together in the mornings to let our wives get ready.
I just think he's so fucking good, and it's so
cool when someone takes so long to win and break through,
and then the confidence that they get from that that
they can actually do it, which just goes to show
(12:54):
what a mentally f' up game this is. It's all
at a certain point, it is mental when you get
that person. So I couldn't be happy for him. I
think he's getting a success and the respect that he deserves.
I think the players have always respected him, but now
the media is heavily respecting him, and he one hundred
percent deserves it two, however, called yes, I did it
(13:16):
at So I was in the second to last group
on the Saturday for KPMG when it was aeronomic actually,
which is where the PJ Champ's going to be. And
at the time, like we were kind of told like
the fringes and the greens are so similar in length
that it's quite hard to determine which is which.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
And I'm on like the fifth hole.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
And I just picked my ball up thinking I was
on the green, and I kind of looked and I
was like, oh.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
That's a bit dodgy that could be.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
And my players I was playing with were like, I
think that's on the green. I was like, I'm just
going to get a rep because I don't think it
is anyway.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
I got a shot penalty for it, So.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah, so dumb. I know, that's such such a dumb rule.
I know, just put it back.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
And literally picked it up, didn't even clean it and
put it back. That Okay, that is a dumb rule.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
But I think if you cause the ball to move
fair enough, yeah, that's that's one of the most classic
roles in golfers. You know, players play it as it lies,
and if you cause the ball to move. That's a
stroke fair.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
But yeah, stuff like that is just that's stuff about
golf that just makes.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
My yes same And like I've actually I've actually done
it as well, like where we've done a lift clean
a place the day before, I've gotten the first hole
and I've just picked it up and I put it
straight back down shop penalty. So it's so stupid. But yeah,
I mean, you know, I think people eat a big
deal of it. I'm like, no, that's kind of what
golfers do. We cool shit on ourselves all the time.
(14:50):
That's the integrative of the game. That's the whole point
that we've been taught since we were kids, you know
what I mean.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
So, I I mean I'm not so so.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
They made a big deal of it in terms of like, wow,
what a great guy.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
That's what you're supposed to do.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Yeah, yeah, so I think, you know, on a final
round and all of that, it's I mean, obviously he
needed to do that, because if if he doesn't and
somebody notices, that's a that's a whole different kennel worms.
Then that, as you mentioned, the integrity of the.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Game, So you know, maybe on a Thursday people aren't
making as big of a deal about it, but on
a Sunday when you're about to win.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
Yeah, well that just shows why golf is so I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
I think it's so great, especially for kids to get
involved in. Actually it was funny.
Speaker 5 (15:36):
I was got chatted to a guy at the bar.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
I was watching the Philly game in the hotel bar
last week and this guy was chatting to me because
there was a girl's soccer tournament and so all the
dads were there with their little girls and it was awesome.
Actually I got chatting to them and they were talking
about I only want to get our girls into golf.
I was like, please, because it teaches you so much,
like integrity, discipline, time management, Like it teaches you hard work.
(16:00):
You know, whatever you put in you get out. Like
it's not like a team sport in that way, but
it's really good for kids.
Speaker 5 (16:06):
Like I always encourage everyone to put them in teen sports. Obviously.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
I think teams, especially for girls, is the best thing
you can do, just for a lot of reasons. Confidence,
body image, all that stuff. But go for me, it's
on you, like you have to call this stuff on yourself.
And so I just think it teaches you life lessons.
I think golf teaches you the most life lessons.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Then I love how you you come at it from
a you know, integrity, life lessons, taking ownership of yourself,
of you know, building your character, and I think all
of those things are wonderful and important and come from golf.
But I'm like, you know, it's a great business skill.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Oh yeah, eventually it is. You know it is eventually
of course, No, no, no, yeah, but that's always my
first thing when I'm talking to parents. Yeah, absolutely sure,
your girls should play golf. It's an amazing business skill.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
It's going to set them apart from their colleagues and
get them in the room because all these deals are
being made on the golf course and they need to
be able to be a part of those conversations.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
But that's a great point, and I say this to
women and my women and girls especially, you know, get
them in goolfd because you're right, the amount of business
transactions and business.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Networking, yes, yes, that's the word networking. My brain's fried.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
Networking happens on a golf course, and it's it's a
incredible thing. So please women get involved in golf because
it's so good for you.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
People always ask me how did you get into broadcasting,
and I say because I could play.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Yeah, not's crazy.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Well I can hang, I can play well enough to
have credibility to be there.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I can speak the language. Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
I have this job because I could play. I could
take the club back. So get involved involved. This has
turned into an advertisement for golf. But anyway, Cam Young
very happy for you, dear sir, and if he continues this,
maybe he becomes a major champion. At the PGA Championship
(18:00):
UH next week at aroundom innk We Chelsea, there was
a funny Speaking of weird penalties, did you see this thing.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
With Adam Scott hitting the wrong ball on Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:13):
So he shot seventy six on Thursday undone, in part
by one of the most unusual mistakes. After pulling his
t shot into the rough on the par five eighth,
he unknowingly struck the wrong ball, a violation of rules
six point one or six point three that resulted in
a two stroke penalty. The error led to a double
bogie and around that never quite recovered. He ended up
(18:34):
putting together some great rounds later in the week, but
obviously it's hard to come back from a seventy six.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Have you ever done this one? No, that sounds like
a wild thing for Adam Scott.
Speaker 4 (18:47):
Yeah, I get it in the rough though, because I mean,
you know, practice rounds and stuff. Usually if you hit
it in the rough, you can't just leave your ball,
and so unless a marshall or like a spectators picked
it up. There are actually quite a lot more balls
you would expect in the rough at times, especially if
it's like kind of really out the way, like these.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Guys are paying for their golf balls whatever, Just leave it.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
I don't want anyone to know that was over there anyway.
So it's actually a lot easier to do than you
would probably think. But it's that's why you always check
your golf ball. I was really conscious yet life less
than everybody. But it's a bit odd that he did it.
I think it was just I just thought it was
his ball, I guess. But yeah, I always double check
my golf ball because it is something that would probably do.
(19:33):
But I've never done it.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
I've I mean obviously I've not done it in competition.
Definitely that you're saving one time. No, No, I didn't,
but I've.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
Definitely been like, oh, Danna I actually played your ball,
yeah yeah, you know, and a friendly scramble at the club.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, but it just happened.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
It's definitely happened to some LPG players by mistake.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
What did you think of Darrell, Because this is the
first time that they were back in a while, I
think since twenty eighteen, twenty seventeen, something like that. This
is a Trump golf course. It didn't seem like there
were a lot of people there. There's also a lot
going in and going on in Miami last weekend they
had Formula one and all that, But.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
The fans was there.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Yeah, I guess this is golf course. But in general,
what did you think. I'm not a huge fan of Durrell.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
I don't know why. I've been there a couple of times. Actually,
I don't know. It's just a golf course.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
To me, just a regular of Florida.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Yeah, I think the lack of fans is for obvious reasons.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
I think some of it.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
But then also the problem is even if and I've
kind of said this on the LPGA as especially like
because we are constantly fighting to have fans when you're
in a big city like that like Miami, there's so
much to do that the golf isn't really the main focus,
and so you're always, even on the Men tour, are
going to struggle to get people through the gate because,
like you said, there's why is it doing that again?
Because it's got You've got f one like Miami is
(21:07):
such a cool place, like you know, people don't go
there to then go and watch the golf. People are
just already kind of there and want to do other
cool stuff around it.
Speaker 5 (21:17):
So I wasn't that I was a little bit surprised
by the lack of crowds.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
I knew it would probably be a little bit lower
than majority of the PHAs tools and people in Florida
love golf. Yeah, I don't know, weird, I don't know. Yeah,
it's kind of it's a whatever golf course. To me,
it's not it's nothing. It's it's it's a good golf course,
but it's not you know, it's not like a Bay Hill,
whereas you know, a venue that you go to every
(21:42):
year and it's a massive event.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
Yeah yeah, so okay, yeah, all right, Well, some interesting news.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Over the last week, and we have been thinking about
it for.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Five days, so we have all of our analysis ready
for you. So, uh, Live Golf announced that they will
be losing their Saudi funding from the Public Investment Fund
of Saudi Arabia. Okay, so the PIFF said the substantial
investment required by Live Golf over a long, longer term
(22:18):
is no longer consistent with the current phase of PIFFS
investment strategy. We mentioned this before that you know, global
politics really play a role in this, most likely with
the wars happening in oil and probably some other things
that they've decided to you know, let's take a look
(22:39):
at the books and see where we can maybe save
a couple billion, and what about this thing where we
have liberally set five billion dollars on fire?
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah yeah, uh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
I mean, you know, my thoughts on Live I think
I just the problem is now no one's going to
want to touch it because a.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Lot of the because they're saying, they're saying now that
they're going to go and try and find outside funding.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Yeah, well come on now, I mean, that's a lot
of money, and it's it's kind of a little bit
tainted now as well. I think I don't know, that's
just my opinion, and I think that I mean, if
you know Bryson's contracts up at the end of the year.
He goes, They're done. They're absolutely done. Like he is
the only guy really that is bringing eyes to it. Like,
(23:29):
I know you've got Tyrrel and I know you've got
John Ram, but Bryson is really the one because Bryson's personality,
like and his YouTube stuff, like he has a lot
of young Yeah, he drives vas, Yes, he does exactly.
I think if he goes, it's one hundred percent done.
But yeah, I mean, it was the risk that they
(23:50):
were going to take. I just thought it was just
a weird business idea. I mean, how can you throw
that much money? I get that, as you know, they
technically got endless money in Saudi, but how there must
be a point where you like, this is.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Actually a bit silly. This is I don't have a
lot of money.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
You have a lot of money.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
It is insane.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
I think that what I mean, I'm not a brand expert,
but I don't think that there's any amount of money
in the world that you can pay to make people care.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
The product itself has to be.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
Yes, good and good.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Well, I mean it's just if you look at the
numbers that are tuning in on whatever they were on
FS one or something like that, Like twenty thousand people
watching your broadcast you've paid Let's say, let's say you
paid that week three hundred million dollars. That is an
insane amount per view to pay. So what's the disconnect there?
(24:50):
What is wrong with the product itself? And I know
that they're really passionate about team golf, but it was
I mean, they're trying to make the teams these billion
do franchise, isn't it just all seems very disjointed about
like the.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Team thing and then the individual thing. And I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
And like I said, I've said this, the concept of it,
I quite like. Like I like the fact that it's
a team of a team, like I like that I'm
not a big fan of fifty four holes at all.
I'm also very against not having a cut.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Like yeah, that's the whole point of golf, right, and not.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
Even golf like Okay, so this is where I love
the NFL, right, I actually have got very much into it.
But the fact there's no relegation but a new teams
can come in to me is we're growing up watching
football at home, like this is towards the end of
the season. Now like a massive team like Tottenham is
fighting relegation, a position they have not been in for decades. Right,
they were top tier football team, you know, should have
(25:48):
won the league a couple of times in the last
fifteen years, and now they're fighting their ass off for relegation.
I'm watching every single Tottenham match. Now, I'm not a
Tottenham fan, but I want to see what's happening, because yeah,
I want to see if Arsenal and Man City are
going to win the league, but I also want to
know how are they going to react to this in
this adversity, because this is this is so unfamiliar territory
for them and it's so entertaining to watch. You know,
(26:10):
It's just that I you know, there's a consequence to
not doing well, whereas with this there's not. You know,
PGA Tour LPGA's does a consequence to not playing well,
Like your job is guaranteed unless you win, it's guaranteed
for two years, but not basically you can have least
six Okay, this is a perfect example.
Speaker 5 (26:27):
On the LPGA.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
She won the US Women's Open, I think in back
in twenty eighteen seventeen something like that. Right, she is
back on EPSOM right now, that's crazy, which is fucking crazy.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Which if you don't know what that is, that's the
corn fairy tour or developmental tour version for the LPGA.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
Yeah, because your job is like she won a major,
she had them five years. But then your job's not guaranteed,
you know. So you can have an unbelievable season, you can.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Finish like.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
Fifteenth on see Me never win, and then you play
like shit share you lost your job, you know, which.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
Is nuts, But that's just how it is.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
That's why it's such an incredible, incredibly mentally draining and
taxing sport because.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
You always and compelling to the viewer to watch.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
You want to see the guy you want to see,
the guy you want to see the Joel Damon that
has to make the cut this sweek to keep his
card like that is so fun to watch, and it's
when he does it, it's incredible. It's an incredible story.
And then the guys that don't you know, oh shit,
like I feel for you.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
You know, yeah, well I know that they were trying
to do some sort of relegation thing. Yeah, but I
don't know that they told that story.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
No Ah, well enough.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
So it's just there was just so many different things
that they changed about what people love about golf, and
some of them maybe are warranted changes, not I don't
want to, you know, totally pooh poo every single thing
that they did. But at the end of the day,
you had, however, many years of this and you did
not convert caring.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Yeah, Like if you're if you're an average person, right,
So I'm an average golf fan and I'm seeing these
guys who are making absolute gazillions of dollars and it
doesn't matter whether they shoot plus twenty five, yeah twenty five. Well,
it's not really going to matter too much to them.
But so you're like, oh, okay, we just watched some
guy get super duper rich, Like do you know what
I mean. It's just like it's a bit weird to me.
(28:22):
It's a weird concept to me. Whereas if they actually
had a relegation or you know, a cut situation, I
think it would have been a lot more compelling for everybody.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
Yeah, so now it's going to be interesting because some
of these big names like a John Rahm for example,
you know, they've got hundreds of millions of dollars left
on their contracts. Is that still guaranteed by the public
Investment Fund? Is he going to get fully paid out
or is it kind of just well, this is it
is what it is situation. Could we see somebody like
a John rab go and have to play on the
(28:53):
corn Ferry Tour or try to Monday qualify and just
work his way back in because of his bensions from
the PGA Tour. Same thing with Bryson Bryce. As you mentioned,
his contract is up. No one's going to pay you
he wanted to. There's report saying that he wanted five
hundred million dollars. Like, I'm sorry, dude, it's just it's
not it.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
So it's not it. So I don't have a lot.
I don't think that exists anymore.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Yeah, there was like a really small window for that
and that window has closed. Yeah, and I could see
them getting some investment to keep some sort of a
team league alive.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
But it should be cool, which would be great, just
to restructure it, but they.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Would have to have it be attached to like the
DP World Tour or the Asian Tour.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
It would not be on the level that they were
trying to be.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
They were trying to completely take over global golf from
the likes of the PGA Tour, and then the PGA
Tour has since been able to move. You know, you
can argue, but they have moved in positive directions and
changed a lot about what they're doing. They now have
this new CEO and Brian roll Up and blah blah blah.
So they've been able to adjust based on competition in
the market, which is a great thing. But I don't
(29:57):
think that their initial dreams about being like the best
global golf product is.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Realistic.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
So fascinating times, yes, it is in golf land. I
just want to know, like I would love to see
John ramin a Monday qualifier just for the just for
the continent.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
It's so fun. So yeah, I want to think about that.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
More fun golf news than that is that Michelle, our
friend of the pod, Michel we West, is playing in
the Mizuho this week.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
That this is an event that she hosts.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
It's just a fantastic job.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
By the way, players love this event she's playing.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
She's going to also be playing the US Open at
Riviera next month, so this is a great way for
her to get back in it.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
But what do you think it's like?
Speaker 3 (30:52):
First, you know this is you could be in this
situation like you haven't played competitive golf in a professional
tournament in however many years, and then all of a
sudden you decide, I'm going to grind for six months
and see how this goes.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
What are the nerves like? What are you most worried about?
Speaker 5 (31:10):
First of all, absolutely mad respect for her? Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Second of all, See, this is a funny thing. I've
never really took substantial time off and then gone back
and played. But I've took some time off like injury
or something like maybe a month, and then come back.
The prep that you can do in practice, you know,
you can play with some good players. It is not
the same when you're done that first tea. Like you
(31:36):
you're not quite sure how you're gonna play when the
gun is against your head?
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Do you know what I'm saying? When the gun goes off?
Speaker 4 (31:42):
So this this is actually a good golf course for her,
Mountain Ridge. So it's like an old school golf course.
It's got a lot of character to it. You've got
to be very creative. You got to hit it like
sometimes four urns off the tea, then driver, you got
to draw it, fade.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
It, listen.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
I think Michelle, I think I know she's going to
be very kind to herself this week, as she should be.
I just think it's going to be cool. I think
it's going to be cool to watch her play. There's
going to be a lot of attension on her. She's
swinging it really good as well, like she's been posting,
like shit, that is honestly the best I've seen a
swing using sports Box, just saying, well, you know, it
is the best AI technology in the game of goal
(32:24):
at the old her friend of pod. Yeah, I mean,
I'm very excited. I think it's it's just I think
it's great for the LPGA. I think it's great for her.
I think it's going to be awesome for her and
a family. Little kiddo is watching, and I just think
it'd be great. She should enjoy every single minute and
not have too many high expectations. But she definitely needed
to play an event before the US Women's Open. Yeah,
(32:46):
so this is a good little warm oft for her.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
She needed to feel the fields.
Speaker 5 (32:49):
Mm hmmm, mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
It's just the feels.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
It's not necessarily she obviously can hit the ball, and
she can hit every shot she wants. It's the controlling
of the mind and the nerves and staying in your
own little space. So I'm excited to watch a play. Actually,
I'm definitely gonna be watching it.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
This game is crazy, sysn't it.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
It's crazy?
Speaker 5 (33:20):
Just Also in other golf news.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
And A Jackson Edda Jackson, she played her own husband
Tom played in a mixed scramble. You say their new
golf was their first time they're played in competition?
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Did you not go on live scoring? I didn't know
what's happening. No one told me I missed Salem Salem.
You're not seriously calling it Salem Salem. You're just you're
taking the piss by. You've got it in my head now, No,
you I never said that Salem Salem, Salem sale like
(33:56):
like sailing, okay, yes, Salem. So yeah, they finish.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
I kind of like, let's actually I take HI while back,
let's call it Salim.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
It's just more fun.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
So she's fired up. I actually saw an A jacksonas sweet.
She wasn't working, but we had little girls and night
I went over after I was off air at like
two o'clock and helped her with the kiddos because Tom
was in England and went with for some rider cuts
off and so amazing.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
I'm absolutely in love with Maxie and Eila. Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
So Maxie her son, he's almost five. He's so adorable
and he does like this horse riding thing. It was unbelievable,
Like we just watched him for an hour just go
around on a horse.
Speaker 5 (34:36):
It was so sick.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
And they do all these cool light I guess to
grab stuff and he has to ride it backwards and
then gets distracted because you can see hers and he's
just like calls me, me, me, just me and him
have this cool bond. And then her daughter is a
fucking awesome So she's got so much attitude, and you know,
you know, it's like with kids, like they kind of
(34:58):
like do I know you would like, yeah, stranger danger,
stranger danger. So she got she gets out, we pick
her up from school. She gets out of the car,
she runs and like hugs me, and I'm like, oh
my god, this is sick. And then she just looked
at me and she went no, I was all right,
I'm confusing you with somebody else. Yeah, So then I
was like, right, so she was like, I don't know
(35:20):
who this person is. So it's like just wanting Anna.
And then I was like, can you show me babies?
And she's like, oh yeah, okay, So she takes me upstairs.
We're having the best time ever. I thought, here we go,
I've crossed this bridge, like we are over the hut.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
We're going to be friends again.
Speaker 4 (35:33):
And we're having a laugh and I'm like, right, let's
go back down, like blah blah blah.
Speaker 5 (35:36):
We're going down the stairs.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
We're giggling, and then she just went no, no, and
then she's.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Like mummy, like no, this scary lady.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
I was like, oh my god. And I've never seen Anna.
Me and I have talked about this. I've never seen
a child eat the way that I eat.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
You've told me.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
She literally has like four breakfasts and just shoves eggs
in her mouth. And she's like, I'm like, she just
put four black berries.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
In her mouth.
Speaker 4 (36:03):
She's not even two. It's awesome. So we went put
them to bear. We had some sushi and sat Pamla
chat for a bit. So we had little girls in
Salem in Salem.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
But yeah, very proud of her.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
I'm surprised it wasn't on the main NBC network, to
be honest with you, but maybe, yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
Know that the whole Cameron Young mellon quarter storylines we're
taking over. But you know, Anna Jackson's the person that
people want to see.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
Yeah, and she's going to go for a club championship.
With Ladies Club Championship, you get your own car park spot.
So so we wish you all the best, Anna.
Speaker 3 (36:37):
And if you win the Ladies Club Championship, you have
to come on the pod to debrief every single shot.
Speaker 5 (36:42):
Yeh, eighteen holes please please.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
It's like, uh, my husband when he has a good round,
he comes home and he's.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Like, all right, so the first hole is it?
Speaker 2 (36:52):
An? Is it? Man?
Speaker 1 (36:54):
Thing?
Speaker 2 (36:55):
I think he's also been practiced.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
He claims that he's found it and he's been We
have this thick carpet in our living room and he's
just been in hot tall ceilings.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
So he's just been swings.
Speaker 5 (37:09):
Cute. Andrew's so cute, dude, I can't.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
We we're in the middle.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
We've been watching Dalt Nabby has been our show for
the past couple of months. We're on the fifth season finally.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
And Or I mean We're in the middle of this
really intense scene and he's just takings in the middle
of the living.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Oh my god, Andrew's with his bird watching and this
I just I love him so much.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
I love him so much too.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
I know it could stay.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
I know.
Speaker 4 (37:36):
Oh, bless, bless, that's so bless.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
So yeah, okay, okay, what.
Speaker 5 (37:49):
I was just gonna I just thought of something. Tell me.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
So, Carli's gave me a lot of tasks to do
this week. So obviously it's my first week home in
a long long time, so.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
This is for boring.
Speaker 5 (38:00):
But I want everyone today, I'm going to build two bookshelves.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
That is very exciting, thank you.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
I'm going to build what kind of bookshelves the ones
that are behind you or yes.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
So we've got a bit of an open loft space upstairs.
We don't know what to do with it, and I'm like, right,
I'm just going to build a bookshelf and then put
a chair in the middle and have like a light.
Because Carly has I'm not joking, Kira, I have met
like she's a book where you know this? She?
Speaker 2 (38:21):
I mean she must.
Speaker 5 (38:22):
We must have close to seven hundred and fifty books
in our house.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
So I have books, but I'm reading them all on
my kindle.
Speaker 4 (38:30):
Well she does read them on the kindle as well,
but she then gets a kindle and then she wants
the physical book. So she goes to the library every
like two weeks and gets like five books.
Speaker 5 (38:38):
She's very cute.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
But if you go into the library, you're returning them. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
Yeah, that's a good point. I actually buy books and
don't read them. So a lot of these books are
actually mine as well.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
Oh okay, yeah, so don't put it all on Carly.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Well she's not here to defend herself.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
So okay, well this is my podcast. Yeah, it's welcome anytime.
Speaker 5 (38:59):
So on you on Cares podcast, Mike.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Okay, I'm building that and building the nursery chair for
the new.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
Okay, every time to do this, Yeah, because you do.
You would love to, because you're not doing a thumbs up.
That's just how you count. Yeah, how British people count?
They got why whereas we go? We go wan, Yeah,
you do a lot of counting. You're like, you know,
I have one good point.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
Yeah, ever goes thumbs up to you mail well done.
Speaker 5 (39:32):
I know I've got an American laptop.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
It's like a setting somewhere that you can turn.
Speaker 5 (39:36):
I quite like it.
Speaker 4 (39:38):
I think it gives a bit of you know, visual
for everyone. So yeah, then I'm building the nurse chair.
Then I'm going to paint the nursery. Oh and then
I'm going to buy a law moa.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
So I don't know why this came up in my
for you page, but two Chains was on Jimmy Fallon
like a couple of years ago, and it was his birthday,
and Jimmy goes, what did you do for your birthday?
And he goes, well, I bought myself a lawnmower, and
I bought a strip club.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
I just died laughing, and he goes, yep, it's called
candy Land. We're in Atlanta, he said.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
He said, you know, rich people pay other people to
mow their lawns. But I decided, I'm a man. I
need to go and mow my own lawn.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
So I woke up on my birthday and went out
and bought myself a John Deere. Yep, so is that
what you thought? I need to go out and buy myself.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
Exactly, dear, Well, I can't buy a ship cub, so
I need to buy I need to find normal. So yeah,
that's that's the extent of my week.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Really, and you're going to mow your own lawn of course, Sam.
Speaker 4 (40:52):
Wow, thanks, that's impressive.
Speaker 5 (40:56):
Well isn't that what everyone does?
Speaker 2 (40:59):
Not unless you're well yeah, well now he's online.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
But yeah, yeah, I got it. See everyone in England
law it's like a thing you do in the evening.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
That's cute.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
Yeah, we are alone.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
So a plenty of people in America they're on law. Yeah,
well I'm one of them. So I don't have a lawn,
so okay, well that's that.
Speaker 5 (41:19):
Yeah, No, So I actually I enjoy trying to get
the lines. I'm one of them. I enjoyed getting Yeah.
Speaker 4 (41:25):
That's a great outlet for your weird, obsessive compulsive Yes, exactly,
exactly perfect.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
Yeah, well you've got a big week at home, then
I do. I have to pack tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
I'm dreading.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
I'm packing for four days in studio and then I'm
driving from Connecticut to Philly for the PGA for ironom Ink.
So been I'm packing for three days of being of
reporting out on site, which are two very different pack jobs. Yes,
I would agree, because one is you know you're inside,
(41:57):
you're freezing in the studio. You're thinking about clothes that
look good under studio lighting, and then the other one
it's probably going to be hot or humid. I'm working
with the elements. There's a different lighting thing that you've
got to think.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
I don't know. So are we.
Speaker 5 (42:15):
Going to see each other at the PGA. I'm not
there till Tuesday night.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
I leave on Wednesday night. Okay, so maybe on Wednesday?
Speaker 5 (42:26):
Maybe?
Speaker 2 (42:27):
What are you doing?
Speaker 5 (42:28):
Same thing I did last year? I actually met you
on the range, remember for like.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
Five seconds, and I don't know what you were doing.
Speaker 5 (42:34):
Well, I'll be on the range, so you'll probably be
on the range, won't if you're apporting?
Speaker 4 (42:38):
Oh okay, well text me we can talk about the
six a week. But yes, I'm doing World Feed okay, great?
Yeah for CBS, soa yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
And you'll actually love.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
That golf course. Obviously I played well there, so I
love it. It's a brilliant golf course.
Speaker 2 (42:53):
I've never been. I'm excited.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
It's really cool, very very cool golf course.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Do you have a shosh of the week?
Speaker 5 (43:03):
Do I have a shush of the week? Hmmm?
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Do you I do?
Speaker 3 (43:10):
Okay, So there's a candy company I like to order
gifts from for people, and they make I really love sour,
like sour cherry lips or sour pea charts or watermelon
twists and things of that nature. I'm not going to
call out the company because no free ads, and I
(43:30):
don't want to be sending people their way.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Right now because I'm mad at them.
Speaker 5 (43:35):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (43:37):
So I ordered somebody a gift, and while I was
ordering said gift, I was like, oh, I would also
like to order myself some of these candies because duh,
I love them and I need them in my life.
So I place the order for the gift to the
correct address. That's one complete order, and then I went
(43:58):
and opened a n other order and a new basket
to order things for myself. So I had two different orders,
two different order confirmations, two different addresses.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
Candy arrives, it's my gift and my order they had
sent me both. I was like, that's weird. So I
don't know, maybe they messed it up somehow and they
saw my.
Speaker 3 (44:22):
Other order come through. Whatever, no big deal. I sent
them an email, Hi, can you please send the right
order to the right address because but whatever. They respond
two days later and they say, we know, mistakes happen,
You're welcome to order it again for fifty percent off,
(44:42):
And I.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
Was like, no, what's happened to Christmas service? It was
not my mistake. You guys sent it to the wrong place.
So you know. Now I'm thriving. I love writing and
asking email, so that I responded and I say, yes,
I know, stakes happen. Period, you made a mistake, so
(45:04):
please correct you send.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
It to the right adverse. It's clear that you have
misunderstood me. Screen shot, screen shot, screenshot, order number, order number,
blah blah blah, which I had already included in the
other stuff. And then somebody responded again that seemed to
be more with it, and was like, oh.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
My gosh, I'm so sorry. We were immediately setting me
the order and they arrived and everything's fine.
Speaker 5 (45:28):
Fisty care is my favorite.
Speaker 2 (45:30):
Mistakes happen? Yeah, I know you guys made one. Yeah, okay,
so I have kind of thought of one.
Speaker 4 (45:37):
So when I was flying back yesterday, I was in
a window seat, which I hate window seats.
Speaker 5 (45:43):
I much prefer being on an aisle.
Speaker 4 (45:45):
Yeah, me too, because I you know, I don't have
the strongest bladder and I tend to like choke water
before a fly because I want to stay hydrated and stuff,
and so I tend to go to the toilet and
I hate doing anyway. So I feel like everyone stares
at you, so oh, I love.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
It, especially I like it's my little runway. Oh okay,
you're looking at me. Cool. Well I'm the opposite.
Speaker 4 (46:06):
And so I had to go to the bathroom two
or three times on this only three and a half
half flight, naturally, and the guy next to me is
definitely getting pissed off.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
And I was like, well, look, bro, what do.
Speaker 5 (46:16):
You want me to do? Like, what do you want
me to do? Do you want me to just hear myself? Yeah?
Do you want me to piss myself?
Speaker 4 (46:20):
I mean, I don't particularly want to do that, but
if it's gonna make you feel better, make you feel better.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
So yeah.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
So if you're sitting on an aisle, just expect that
you're probably gonna have to get up for somebody who
needs to go to the bathroom.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
I also hate playing toilets. I think that absolute vile.
Speaker 3 (46:36):
Yeah, play what is it with plane toilets and having
the loudest flush flush ever?
Speaker 2 (46:43):
I have to cover my ears every single time.
Speaker 4 (46:46):
It's, well, Kai won't go on a plane because he's
so scared of the bathroom. Oh, I know, but it's
I think it's because it has to suck everything.
Speaker 5 (46:53):
Now, I'm like, what have you put down that I
don't know?
Speaker 3 (46:56):
Sometimes you you press it the ones that have the
little actual toilet flushir thing.
Speaker 2 (47:02):
It just flush is like a normal thing.
Speaker 4 (47:03):
Yeah, I don't know. Plain toilets of vile, absolutely vile.
I try and touch the least amount of things in
there as possible. Disgusting. Yeah, so that's my shush of
the week.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
Yeah, okay, have safe travels.
Speaker 3 (47:17):
Thank you, enjoy your week at home and your weekend
