Speaker 1 (00:00):
Quiet Please with Mel Reed and Kurra Dixon is an
iHeart women's sports production in partnership with Deep Blue Sports
and Entertainment. You can find us on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Welcome back to Quiet Please. Curra here, Mel here and
Aaron Raye was the winner of the PGA Championship.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Mel Yes, unbelievable. I mean it was a bit of
a weird championship, to be honest, wasn't it. There was
a lot of movement at the top, nobody kind of
wanted to break free.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
But the Englishman did it.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
The first Englishman to win the PGA Championship since nineteen eighteen, No,
nineteen nineteen.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Sorry, Yeah, what have you guys been doing?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
I know there's been messing around at the PJ champ Yeah. Incredible, honestly,
I mean you obviously know I'm right. He's literally I
know everyone's saying it. But he is the nicest, He's
the sweetie guy ever.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
He could he can go on the Quiet Please sweety list.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
He really can.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Yeah, I mean just the way that he played on
the back nine, his back eight holes, I think he
was six under. He was three back walking on the
ninth thirty eagle nine and then just strung a few
birdies and obviously had his massive moment on seventeen.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Nobody's birding in that hole. There's only three birdies all day.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Sixty eight feet a bomb, I know, incredible, like, especially
with all the heavyweights behind him, and he just he
was the one. Everyone just looked exhausted, and he just
kind of kept his cool and just plotted his way
around and there you go. I was a bit nervous
for a player. Factually, I thought there was going to
be a playoff at the start of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Oh my gosh, I was like, is there going to
be a seventeen men playoffs?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
I know, I know, hopefully not, but yeah, awesome, so happy,
like so so happy for him.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
How was your week working the World Feed?

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Yeah it was good.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
So I did Sky in the morning for a couple
of hours, which was amazing. I loved that whole crew,
like Nick, Andrew Coltard, David Hollan, obviously the Dame Lord Davey.
So it was really awesome. I really it went so quick,
like I really enjoyed that. And then World Feed was good.
It was one till eight on Thursday Friday, and then
one till seven. We'll just after seven on the weekend.

(02:14):
So it was a lot of.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Wow work, but it was good.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
Yeah, a lot of a lot of chatting, which you
are I'm truly good at, so are you.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
But yeah, I don't know about one to seven.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
I know it's a lot. It's a lot.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
And the annoying thing is it's like the we stayed downtown.
They put in a nice hotel downtown, but it was
like an hour and a half each way. Mmmm.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, it was traffic and stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
It was a bit of a painting I asked, to
be honest, but it was great. It's always nice to
be part of me, you know, majors. So it was
good and I get i'd get. I got to see you.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
For five point seven seconds. Yeah, better than nothing.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yeah, exactly, good to see you.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I was there Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for Golf Channel and
then Live from only has shows at night Thursday to Sunday,
and Todd is, uh, he's got that going. So I
was out. I was like bye. I mean, I really
enjoyed it. I loved being there, but it was also
nice to go home. You know, we don't do that

(03:13):
a lot these days.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
No, we don't so, but yeah, it was cool.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
I thought it was I thought it was a great
test and it was a lot of fun and it
was actually it was funny. I felt like not a
lot of drama happened. It was kind of one of them.
It was happening to be one of them championships. But
then the back nine was electric, so it was good.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
I feel like the drama was the uh, like the
tension between the golf course and the players, because early
week everybody was like, Oh, it's going to be a
pitch and putt, It's going to be so easy, blah
blah blah, and then all of a sudden, nobody can
break through. So I thought that was interesting. I was.
I liked John Rahm's quote about somebody must have gotten

(03:54):
to be in their bonnet at the PG of America
and did something about the golf course playing easy during
practice rounds and they made it insane. But before before
we get into all of we have lots of storylines, we're.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Gon, we have lots of drama, lots.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Of drums, as we always do. But I did want
to tell you about the cheese steak that I had
that I sent you a photo of.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
That foot long one.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah, that was the highlight of my So we did
not stay downtown, which is kind of nice because even
with traffic, it took max.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Forty minutes to get back.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, but without traffic it was twenty and it was
like we were out of there. We played. We stayed
in a place called Consha Hocken. So any any Philadelphia
people out there, there's a place called kansha Hocken.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Very cool.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
I didn't know what you're gonna say then, So I'm
glad you finished off the worst. I was curs. It's
more four minutes in. It's a bit early for you.
Uh so there's a massive sorry go well.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
No, no, there's just this place right near the who tell
the called Pops Steaks. I want to shout them out
because I mean, I know everybody talks about Angelo's and Chino's,
Pats or whatever. These places are downtown Philly, which I'm
sure you had access to, but this place was pretty
damn good. I mean, I've been to those spots in
Philly and and yeah, they're amazing, but I thought that

(05:20):
this was phenomenal. Maybe it was just because I was
starving I was a little hungry that day, but I
got one for the plane too on the way home
because I had time to get one before I left.
And damn that thing hit, especially because the food in
the Philly airport is horrific.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
So anyway, Apple in general is not great.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, no, no, but shout out pop steaks generally, no
free ads. But you really made my quality of life
go way up, so I needed to get that in
before we talk about the likes of.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Genre very good. I had one pinta cheese steak and
the TV compound is actually very good. And then I
had some say, is it rubens that the little mini
ones that will would you corn whatever?

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Just many ones at the bar?

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Is a ruben that's like corn beef?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Well, it looked like a room, but it's Filly cheese steak. Okay,
So then it was not a ruben Okay. Anyway, it
was good. It was like a little sausage roll, but
Fordy cheese steak style, So it was good. So I
had some of that Philly.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Was it a Philly cheesesteak egg roll?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
That is? That's what it is. That's what it was.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Oh my god, you are far away from That's what
it was a ruben has like corn beef, sour crowd
and Russian dressing.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
No, that's what it was, an egg roll thing. Yeah
it was spicy.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Man, I love, oh.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
Love.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
So we're here for the fiddy food.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
It was good.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Yeah, you can live for that. Shall we go through
some of our favorite storylines for a week?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Please?

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Do you want to start a shine?

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Do you start?

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Okay? Well? I speaking of I mentioned John Rum. He
had the opportunity to win, just could not quite get there.
It was like all of Aaron rise putts were dropping
and John's weren't when they needed to, and that's the difference.
But it was nice to see him have a good major.
And you know, I feel like everybody's kind of poo

(07:14):
pooed him lately with the whole live stuff or whatever.
And he seemed in good spirits, seemed like he was
happy to be there. So golf is better when John
Rum's playing well. And I don't know, what did you
make of his game?

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Yeah? I can agree more.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Obviously, he's had like a bunch of success on Live.
I think he's one like two or three times already
this year or something ridiculous. So he's just making he's
like never finishing out the top ten ever. But this
is a completely but a completely different ball game. He's
played pretty shit to his son is in the last
couple of years with majors, which is, you know, not

(07:47):
trying to bash Live, but I think that if he
hadn't gone to Live, he probably would be have all
of the majors, if I'm honest with.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
You, So this week, not trying to bash them, but.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
He sucks speakers of it. He's a gazillionaire, but he's
act no so listen, yeah, maybe he is.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Listen. I was very impressed with him this week.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I think that there has been a lot of chat
and a lot of noise around him outside of just
competing obviously with like his whole you know, trying to
come to some sort of conclusion and deal with the
deep Wild tour so he can play Ryder Cup. That's
all kind of been ironed out now. It's it's smoothing
out eventually, and he needed to have a good performance
in a major and he did it this week, and

(08:31):
I thought he was fantastic.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
I think he engaged with the fans.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
The fans got behind him, We got behind him, like
it was like John Rahn of old days, you know,
three or four years ago, and it was awesome to
see him put in a great performance. So that's my
take on that. Alix Smalley never been in this position before.

(09:02):
I thought he handed himself really well. He got off
to a horrific start on was it Friday, He was
like three over through four or something. He didn't like
the bat the front nine of this.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
He didn't like the first four or five poles at all.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
He did it again on Saturday, like clawed his way
back and shot underpart, and then he did it again
on Sunday. Just had a horrific start and then somehow
just like clawed his way back. Not only people have
really heard about him, but I was actually very impressed
with the way that one he managed himself on a
golf course that was really difficult if he got behind

(09:37):
the eight ball to pick up shots, and two I
just thought he he looked like he was very much
in control of his emotion in the big moments.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, so he went to Duke. He's been grinding for
a while. He's done okay on the PGA Tour, Like
he's kept his status to some degree every year for
the past, you know, many years now, he just hasn't
he hasn't been one of those guys that's gotten out
of the middle of the pack. So when you see
a guy like Alex Molly pop up, I mean he's
similar in the stature in the game to an Aaron Rye,

(10:09):
Like they're kind of on that same level. But Aaron
ry was able to break through this week, and Alex
Smolly kind of fell apart. I fell apart. That's not
that's not exactly what happened. He just didn't have it
to push it that next level to actually make it.
He had a two shot lead going into Sunday, right yep. Yeah,
so yeah, but maybe he can build on this one

(10:29):
and not just let it be a blip on the
radar of Oh I played really well at the PGA
and then we never see him again. So it would
be nice to see him kind of break through that
next level.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
And then the interesting thing with his mam Maria, we
she videotapes every single one of his shots and that's
how he gets the data.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Yeah, which is wild. His mom is a constant presence
with him. I always see her on the driving range.
She walks pretty much every every hole of every golf tournament.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
So just go on the range with him, like she
watched Actually, oh ship. Really she's not a coach or
anything though.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
No, but I mean she's definitely a part of the
quote team you guys have teams. Maria is one of
my go to people to chat to on the range,
just because there's not a good chat us women.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
I was like, oh, hey, girl, right, she's got she
got good chat. She's got great chat. She just like
she's just like it's just a nice Yeah, she's just
a nice mom. And I don't know, people people have
send some some weird stuff about that she's always out,
but like, okay.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Okay, I'll tell you something.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
I think it's just because it's unusual on the mentor
it's very usual on the LPGA for your parents to
be around you all the time. Yeah, so I think
it's just a little bit like unusual for the guys,
but not really like come on the LPGA, there's there's
parents everywhere like literally filming and and being the coach
and you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
So yeah, so that's what you need to have to
be successful.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Okay, who gives a ship if it makes them comfortable.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Who cares, it's not bothering you, who cares? Cool?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Who else?

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Well, I wanted to talk about Aaron Ray just a
little bit more. Yeah, of course we just kind of
uh went past him a bit. So, I mean he
he works with me and Mike Golf. Do you know
about Do you know who they are?

Speaker 7 (12:24):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (12:25):
They were kind of like one of the first, not first,
but one of the ogs of like influencery couple of guys.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
They're a couple of English guys, been.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Around but do YouTube content, yes, and they would give
like golf tips and then obviously they've got bigger and
bigger and bigger.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
I mean they're massive in the UK.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
Yeah. I mean honestly, when I saw he was sponsored
by them a couple of years ago, I was like,
oh damn. I was like I didn't I didn't think
but it's such.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
As sponsored by them, like they're his instruction team.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
Oh yeah, yeah, Yeah, they're good coaches.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yeah, they like when they talk about I've watched a
bunch of their stuff like a few years ago now,
but what they're saying is pretty good stuff.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
They're very good.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah. So yeah, that's pretty cool. I mean, yeah, I've
been with him for years. I guess I haven't.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
I yeah, And Aaron, you know, he's the reason why
people like him so much is because he is super humble,
super normal, has a really great appreciation for the game
and for everything he has in life. His I believe
his dad is from India, his mom is from Kenya.
His dad quit his job when Aaron was young so

(13:28):
that he could help him pursue golf. His mom had
two jobs, like they didn't have this classic country club story.
And that's Aaron's the guy that's gotten shit over the
years for having iron covers and wearing two gloves. And
the reason he has iron covers is because he grew
up not wanting to have his irons dinged up and
wanted to keep them as pristine as possible.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
It was the same thing with the mom thing.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
It's like people like to give people a hard time
in golf if they're doing something a little bit different
or that makes them comfortable, or you have no idea
why anybody's doing anything, so like go go away, like
crawl into your hole and stop being so mean. And
now I hope that now that his story is out there,
people see it as an inspiring thing and not like
something to give him a hard time about, Oh you're

(14:11):
wearing covers weirdo.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
So yeah, yeah, and he uses like Castle tees as well,
the old school Castle tees, which I thought was quite cool.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Is it orange one?

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Yeah, it's also that. Yeah, it's awesome. Yeah, I mean, listen.
I I don't know. I feel like it's one of
the more popular wins. I mean, we've had some fantastic
stories this year already. It's been actually, we've been very
lucky to have some cool stories in the world of golf.
But I don't know, I feel like this is one
of the wins that even the players are like really

(14:42):
happy for him.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Everybody was thrilled. Yeah, I mean, of course, of course,
you know, the powers that be and whatever TV they
all want John ram to roar back and win, or
Rory to make it happen on Sunday or whatever just
in time. It's all of a sudden it gets into
a playoff. Like sure that that's fun. But golf is golf,
and anybody can win at any time and you can

(15:03):
control it. And for last week it was Aaron Ry's
week and that's great. I hope we continue to see
him making a move and that this isn't the only
time he breaks out of that middle of the pack world.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Yeah, and his wife is a professional golf as well.
She put on the LT. Yeah, he carried for in
a couple of events.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
So it's just just an amazing win for the for
the whole team. And he was crediting her quite aggressively,
which I thought was awesome, just saying that obviously from
a partner standpoint, like the stability and the constant support,
but he said even from a golf standpoint, like she
just gets it. Yeah, and she's just so good for
his state of mind. And so just a very wholesome story.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Aaron, Aaron, Why.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Why Aar and why and why so?

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yeah, An I liked all of that. I saw a
lot of that around.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
And ink, oh, yeah you did that.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Well. I did that because I saw the pgatory do
it first. I have to get them enough.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
It was just you.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
I was quite proud of you. I was like, that's
pretty sick. Well, they they had the their caption. I
reposted it and then I yeah, anyway.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
So yeah, that was it was.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
It was cool to see obviously, it's amazing thingish golf
to win the PGA champ.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, because the I think what was it, the last
ten winners have been all American. Jason Day is the
last non American. I think before that, maybe Rory was
the last European. So mm hmm yeah, wild y'all have
been sleeping on the PGA, just saying.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Yeah we have.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
It's called the PGA of America. So that's maybe why
you guys are dominating.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
I guess they are essentially American setups, like that grass
is so.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
It's very American. Yeah, very American.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Speaking of the.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
Grass, lots of setup chatter, lots of architecture, uh debatele Yeah,
golf Twitter was was just on fire with all of
the takes. But for you, as somebody that actually understands

(17:14):
golf and golf courses, what did you think of the setup?

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah, we played there in twenty twenty. I'm a bit
sad they took out a bunch of trees when they
redid it. I think that, like looking back like that
would have been quite nice, but I just don't like
trees to getting taken out.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Look, it's an old it's an old golf course.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
It's the original greens that Donald.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Ross shout out, Donald Ras.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Og Listen, I don't know what they were bitching about, like,
oh my god, sorry it's hard, and sorry you have
to play away from pins. It's just because it doesn't
have the US open in front of it. They think
that it has to be like a little bit accessible
and listen, I totally get that. There was obviously there
was loads of those of like really tough, like really
tucked pins, but this is a perfect example. Fourteen I

(17:58):
think it was on Friday, or was it Saturday. Saturday
pin was.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Like back right now.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Luke Donald, one of the oldest players in the field,
hits this beautiful little cut in there, pitches it about
seven or eight yards on and it rolls all the
way up to about twelve foot right uses the contours.
The green rory is completely dead at the back because
you goes straight out this pin, and I'm like, you
can't do that, Like you have to be creative, you
have to kind of you have to play away from
the pins, and to be honest with you, you like

(18:26):
it's meant to be tough. Like there probably could have
been a couple of easier pins maybe on the first
two days, just because there were so many players in
the field. It was slow as shit, like it was
taking ages to get around. But other than that, I
have no issue like players having to play away from
pins now. The only thing is it was a bit
weird that it was so bunched up like that is

(18:46):
the one thing I'm like. It was a bit odd
that there was like twelve different leaders on like Saturday,
this was a record, Yeah, and it is because people
could make birdies and it was so bunched up, like
people just could not make birdies, but so they.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Weren't making birdies, but they also weren't making doubles. It
was like it was like all par bogie. It was
par kind of not necessarily the most entertaining thing or no.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
No, And that's what I mean.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
I think they could have definitely shifted a few pins,
made a little bit like instead of just been the
two part fives being kind of gettable, you could have
probably had a couple more part falls where a wedge
would have been you could kind of dance it around
the whole of the wedge. But I didn't mind start.
I think it's a great golf course. I love that
golf course. I think it's a fantastic property.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
I was I was very pleasantly surprised because earlier in
the week, the discourse around the golf course is that
it was going to be so easy, And a lot
of my reports for Golf Channel were going to players
and asking them so like, what is the defense of
the golf course, and asking them what they thought the
winning score would be, and a lot of them obviously

(19:51):
said the greens were the defense of the golf course.
Some of them said the rough, especially around the greens,
because it was super inconsistent. You don't really know what
you we're going to get. But the most most people
said the winning square they thought was going to be
twelve under. We're between thirteen and fifteen under. So I
like that they didn't even get to double digits. I mean,

(20:13):
that's such a rare thing in golf, and we rarely
see that bunch of a leaderboard. So I think as
a every once in a while, as a rich dessert
or a steak dinner, fun major jump.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Shit should be hard, so bitch, and it's spacely hard.
It's space to be hard.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Yeah, And the PGA tends to get a hot I
don't know what it is, but they get on a
really hard time about the stuff. Every single year, and
people just really nitpick the PGA sets. It's weird, isn't
it always? I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
They can't do anything right, so yeah, like it's weird.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
So as far as this one went, I think they
should be super proud. Sure a couple of things could
be different, or trees, and they can't control the trees.
Gil Hans took out the trees because he wants to
restore it to the original Donald Ross And there's a
lot of other environmental reasons to take out trees. Lincolner said,
just had a gil Haands reno and we took out
a bunch of trees. Part of it has to do

(21:06):
with with water consumption and all that sort of stuff,
So I mean there's there's reasons behind it. Yeah, But
in the end, all in all, I thought it was
lovely and could there have been a few more go
zones for birdies?

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Yes, but say yeah, yeah, do want talk a little
bit about Bryson But I didn't even put them on
my list?

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Is that so rude?

Speaker 6 (21:28):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Care that was a bit rude because it wasn't neal pick. No, No,
I never got that from Sorry. I've spoke to a
lot of people recently.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Who was my pick? Oh? I think I picked Scottie.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
No, maybe cam yet one of those I picked someone Anyway,
they didn't win.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
I pick didn't win. That's all I can tell you.
Because Aaron Ray had a zero point five to seven
chance of winning going into the the week.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
So yeah, I mean, I just.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
I I do like Bryce. I changed.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
I've changed my opinion on Bryson. I told you, I
actually who was I telling this? So? I was on
the range on Wednesday, and I watched a bunch of
players come on the range come off the range. There
was a probably fifty kids just begging for everyone's autograph.
No barely anyone kind of signed them. They were just
walking past or maybe doing three or four. Bryson stood

(22:22):
there for fifteen minutes and signed every single kid's urga, right,
So mad respect for that.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
Like that's awesome. Okay.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
I think what he's doing in the like content space
is cool. Like, I think it's really cool. But I
think you either I don't know if he's gone a
bit too far. Like I think you either have to
be a goal for or a YouTuber.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Do you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 3 (22:43):
And I think that it's starting to reflect a little
bit in his golf. He's so at source it is ridiculous.
Like his iron play and like his driver was wild
as well, but his iron play is just it's not good.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
So, for context, this is his second miscut in a
major in a row. He missed kind of the Masters,
and he missed the cut here. Yeah, if you don't
have good iron play, you're really not going to be
good at golf.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
So and this is the other thing, right, we talk
about everyone's doing it their own way.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
And I've had a little bit of a think about
this and why he does struggle a little bit at times.
Usually when someone's doing something like you know, if you'd
like you go left hand low on a putter, or
you go to a mallet putter, or you try like
a new drive or something like a mini driver something
like that, usually players will see that working and gravitate towards.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
It and give it a go.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
For context, Bryon Bryson's irons at all the same length.
Not one player has ever tried to mess around with that,
And I think that that's a telling sign, if you
know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
Like, I think that's where he struggles a little bit,
Like it's so I don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
I just think he's just committed to that because that's
his thing. And yeah, he's smarter than everybody else in
that reguard.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Yeah, but I just I don't know. I think I
think he needs to sort it out because it's we
want to play. Well, it's good for you. Ye, well,
I guess it. But he really needs to either be
grinding a bit more or I don't know, he needs
to figure something out.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
I'm sure he's grinding. I just don't know that he's
grinding on the right stuff, just like, keep it simple
and fundamentals, and he he's up in this land of
science and physics and air density and that's not you know,
at the end of the day, it's just golf.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
No, I know, over complicating it.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Yeah, I mean it's worked for him, for sure.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
I know. I know he's become a major champion, he's whatever.
But it's his proposition becomes tough when he is missing
cuts and majors, and that's his opportunity, that's his time
to shine. And also he's in a weird spot right now.
His contract with Live is up. He was demanding a

(24:52):
whole lot of money. The Saudis have pulled that funding.
I don't understand how anyone on God's green Earth would
ever pay him the money that he thinks he should
be getting. There's a reason why this Saudis were paying that,
and that was because they were buying something else and
not just professional golf. They were they were sportswashing. And

(25:14):
that's fine, but it's just not for sale right now.
So so you's got to figure that out. It's going
to come back to the PGA toy. He says, I
want to grow by YouTube by three times. Well, okay,
that's great, but can you continue to compete at the
major championship level? Yeah, well only being a YouTuber Like, okay,
you live golf and you're just you leave live golf

(25:34):
and you're just doing YouTube. But when are you getting
the competitive repsode that you need? Sorry that I sound
I sound really congested. This is the best I've got
for you. It's so good.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
You sound great, You sound great.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
So yeah, it's it was good. That's that's basically the
chat of the PJA Chump. I think there's another story
in order this week. I texted you it this morning.
Tell us the ladies European tour Leona Harm. We don't
very often talk about the Ladis European Tour, but this
is a well worthy story Leona Harm. Just to give
you guys a little bit of context. She's a fantastic player.

(26:13):
She's from Germany. Young about thirteen years ago, yeah, something
like that. Anyway, she was going out for a run
before school and got hit by a drunk driver and
she had less than four percent chance of surviving. She
had to be put in a coma and she won

(26:35):
on the LT this week in an on home soil
in Germany. And I think that is just like the
most incredible story ever so far this year, one of them.
I mean, it's it's just incredible. And she's like really
like really really smart, like she wants to like cure
cancer and stuff.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
How old is she?

Speaker 3 (26:55):
I know, That's why I was like, I swear it
was like twelve years ago. I'm going to read it now.
I know, maybe she's not that young.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Man, so that it means she must have been grinding
for a long time.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Nineteen ninety seven she was born.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Wow, oh, I thought you were saying the accident she's
twenty eight.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was thirteen years ago. Yeah, she
was fifteen, so she's twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, how incredible is that?

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Though? That's insane brain be able to blame bleed.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
And all that stuff, brain trauma. Sorry yeah yeah, yeah,
coma everything. Didn't think that she was literally a four
percent chance of surviving making a recovery and now she's
gone on one on the l T talk about resilience.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Good for her, Yeah, amazing in credit types of stories
that actually make golf fun.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
Yeah, where of that?

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Please?

Speaker 3 (27:42):
I know? And then obviously Lotty Road what a week
for the Brits.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
We love to see it.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Lotty Road one in Cincinnati this week on the LPGA.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
She's so good.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
I love her to pick her caddies next Tattoots.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
Yeah, that's the thing. She says she's going to be
nice though, and like not so she's a Leeds fan,
needs a night fan. He's an arsehole fan. But she
said she's not going to get anything leads. She's going
to be nice. She's going to be nice and get
something like to do with the area and stuff. But yeah,
Lossy Roads second time went on the LPGA. She's won
four times and the last year she's going.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
To would have majorss it.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
She's so good and she she kind reminds you. I mean,
Scotty is a bit of a maybe we can talk
about that in a bit, but in a few years.
But she kind reminds you a little bit of Scotty.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
She's kind of not got the most like textbook gold swing,
but she is so efficient and just somehow just creates
these shots. And she's just unbelievable self belief and has
no kind of nothing intimidates.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Her, like she just has no fear.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
It's a joke.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Yeah, I think from a mindset standpoint, she really reminds
me of Scotty exactly. She just doesn't care.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
No, she doesn't care. So we love to see it.
So well done, Latti, incredible stuff.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
I always go back to the when she played in
the annual that she won.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
She had said I think I've told you the story,
but she said her ideal champions dinner at the Masters
would be a traditional Sunday.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
Roast, had a girl. So yeah, just a really good
I don't know, I just feel like it was just
a good week for golfing all over the space. Good
a week for the UK two. Very good week for
the Brits.

Speaker 4 (29:38):
Very good week.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Speaking of a good week for the Brits, you had
a good week at merch this week.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Oh I did. I did have a good week at merch. Actually,
I got cool hat. It's a little bit big for
me though my ears to care abit, but it was
a cool hat. What else did I get? Oh? I
got a cool jumper. Like everyone was asking me about
my jumper. It's like green and it's got like eagle
on the back and it was cool. You were right.
There was a lot of cool Eagles and Philly stuff.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
It was very cool.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
If people don't remember you are a Eagles fan. Forced
Eagles fan force.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
Yeah, I was married into it.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Otherwise you would be getting a divorce.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yes, it would.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
It just wouldn't. It wouldn't. It worked.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
I got kay a little helmet like this one at
Eagles one. But it was a PJ chant one. Agree
on that you made me get so I got it,
So thanks for that. Make you sixty five.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
It was sixty five dollars. It was shut up.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Yeah, okay, I just saw it. I didn't know sixty
five bucks. I thought it would be like fifty dollars.
And then I looked at it. I was like, geez,
So anyway, so Cauy's got sixty five dollars. Helmet's just
gonna throw on the pattern about ten minutes. And then
I got a little baby onesie for the new little
lad that's coming in July. And I got kai matching top.

(30:53):
And then I got Karlie like an extra extra shirt.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
She get big? Is she she getting big?

Speaker 3 (31:01):
She did this? She's proper pots Like I walked in
stairs like bloody hell. It's just a little massive little
bebby bump. Oh she's fine, Okay, she's fine. She's been
watching couple Therapy hugging along. She loves that show, couple Therapy.

(31:24):
So yeah, merch got hammering for me this year. And
I just got a cup because I like it. And
then plastic cups for like the bars and stuff. This one,
yes like that, Yeah exactly, I get I love loads
of them.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
So this is the second time that I've walked through
a merch tent and gotten super overwhelmed and just left.
I didn't buy a single thing I did pre shopping
for you.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
Thank you appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Made sure to let you know that there were things
that you could go and spend money on specifically. But
it's kind of like, this is such a dumb thing
to say, but please say it. We go to these things,
all always see these things, blah blah blah. So it
starts to be the same things at all the same events,
Like how many turvice cups do I actually need? How

(32:08):
many quarter zips? How many cute sweatshirts? And I agree, yeah,
so but I mean, for you, you have the Phillies
Eagles connection. They made a lot of cute stuff, like, yes,
you should absolutely get that. Do I need the hat
that has the Liberty bell and the Philly Cheese take
on it? Like yes, in theory, I would love that,

(32:29):
but I have five thousand other hats that I never wear,
and it would have just gone to the pile.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
So I agree with you, and like I I it
doesn't sound like we're you know, being what's the word,
I'm grateful? Yeah, because my merch dock is getting less
and less and less the more that I go to
these events. The only one that isn't is the masses
because it's time that's different. It's so different.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
But like I worked the Ryder Cup for the first time,
and I got, you know, some Ryder Cup specific stuff,
and like I hosted the opening ceremony and it was
really like that was a meaningful Ryder Cup for me.
The Master's hello, mister Nome is always going to be meaningful.
You never know when your last time is to work
something like that.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
Oh oh, CS are going to kiss you, switchitch, they're besties.
Even more than that. Mine guy's tongue. Now, I was
well after it go on, son, dirty bastards.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Mine's been assaulted.

Speaker 8 (33:33):
Literally, yeahsted, I just wanted to say, hi, I such
a read just takes advantage, just just just takes it
too far, just takes excise me an inch.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
And I'll take them all.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
So sorry about that. I'll have a word with him.
So inappropriate. Yeah, seriously, it's okay, buddy, It's okay. Yeah, sorry,
we'll be We'll be having words with you.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Jeez.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
That's what we got too, Kira. This is the part
of the season.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
We just lost our minds.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
So hard. I did want to ask you about Rory, oh.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Please, well it seemed it was n O. Ship just
missed my chair. Oh my god, I always just ate ship. Sorry,
speaking of first, I'm on like two hours to see you. Good, bro,
I'm good. Are you really just sell a cup of yeah?

(34:42):
Because my fight was at eight. But I went for
a couple of beers last night, so first time a week,
to be fair, went with Johnson Wagon just say the
hotel bar, just for a couple of beers. Dangerous Johns
and Wagner. I fucking love you, by the way, I
do love you, but my god, yeah he can take
it down.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
He has a good time about that.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
I was very you'd be very proud of me.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
I was. I was actually drinking my beers very slowly
because I obviously did not want to be hung over today.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
So and I was fine.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
I sat next to an absolute disgusting guy. Well, no,
I don't think it was him. Someone behind me was
clearly getting hammered.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Still.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
He was from that he was he had a PG
champ how on. I don't know who he was and
hopefully doesn't listen to the podcast where he works. But
he was chugging with Moses and someone was ripping them
and it was disgusting and I was like trying to
it was a disgusting Cara.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
I hate why do people do.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
It on a plane, like fucking hell, we're in like
a big box.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
I stop.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Man fucking gross honestly anyway, so I had to do
with that. So that was just gorgeous this morning anyway. Sorry,
And he's put his momenta all over is the guy
next to him, So that was a big clean up session.
So my chair was just getting rocked every two minutes
from him trying to get it out. So just just
a fantastic travel day so far for me. Okay, So Rory, sorry,

(36:00):
I went off on one, didn't I see, give in
in to take a mile carry on?

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Well, yeah, we knew this about you. I thought it
was an excellent performance for him Postmasters bummer that he
didn't he just like didn't get air on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
Yeah, listen, I think he obviously go after not a
great start in round one, pulled it right back. Do
you know what sometime this is and I have sympathy
with Rory here, and this is going to also sound
a bit like I don't know, oh, poor Rory. Rory
doesn't give a shit anymore about finishing anything other than first,

(36:41):
So when he's like knows he's not gonna win, which
is kind of what he probably felt after that he
needed to Bury thirty ends up bogging it right the
Dribill path for ends up bogging that kind of hasn't
really got a chance after that, he kind of just
loses a little bit of his juice, doesn't it, a
bit of his bounce and his step, and you can
see it like he gets a little bit.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
I hate to say the word disinterested, but I understand it.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
He disengages.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
Yes, yes he does a little bit.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
He also got a fan kicked out.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Oh did he? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Oh my god?

Speaker 3 (37:11):
Tell us. So he's on sixteen. He hit it short
into and he's playing a chip out of the roof.
He's hit the chip. As soon as he's hit it,
a fan has said USA and something else to him,
and I can't quite get what he said first before
the USA. Sorry, So Rory's turned around and apparently now
this is only what I'm seeing online. I don't know
if this is true or don't have evidence. He spits

(37:33):
a Rory, but like does he anywhere near him?

Speaker 4 (37:35):
But I went like that, and so Rory said shut
the fuck up and got and kicked out. Oh what
is going on?

Speaker 2 (37:44):
If that's true?

Speaker 4 (37:45):
Yeah, look at that.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
That's so annoying.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Yeah, I don't know, because at the end of the day,
they've had a few beers and they just think they
can just they just think they can just be pipy,
don't they like stop Well.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
I think at the end of the day, Yeah, these
guys are playing professional golf from millions of dollars, but
they saw human being Yell at them all you want,
but don't, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Just just stop doing it. It's just listen, get rowdy.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Also, who's going to want to date you or marry
you if you participate in that, Like you're just the
biggest douchebag of all time And it's so unbehavior, unbecoming, Okay,
And I feel bad for anybody that would ever want
to like be your life partner because that just just
does not bode well. So if you want girls or
boys whoever to like you, you should probably stop doing

(38:32):
that type of stuff.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
It's not that difficult, is it to just be decent but.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Like have fun, be a Philly sports fan or whatever
sports fan, be passionate, but spinning at somebody is probably like,
you know, we're ordering on assault now.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
And like showing USA like don't watch him. Then it's
not like you're playing in rydy cup right, don't watch him.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
I don't care about the shouting USA. I don't know
if it's like as long as it's not.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
In his backswing annoys me.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Well, I think side whatever you do, do well, you
have personal reasons for that, so that's not my problem.
But if he wants to shout USA whatever, great, We're
literally in the birthplace of America, USA. But the you
can't be spitting people no disgusting and also.

Speaker 4 (39:16):
Just right, thank you? So yeah, so that was the drama.
Mmm that what are you drinking?

Speaker 2 (39:27):
I know it just looks disgusting, but it's so good.
It's my new concoction. It's spinach, banana, blueberries, cheese, seeds,
and coconut water.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
Oh, I do that quite a lot.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
I yeah, I really like it.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
Sorry, Oh go ahead, no please, I was just gonna
chat sh it, so chat shit. Well say I put
honey in as well.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Oh, I don't like I don't need more sugar in
my life. But I feel like they get enough from
the blueberries and banana. But I feel like it hits
all of the green gatest hits of the categories that
I need. For help, I'm trying, I'm working on my fiber,
which is why I've added the geese seeds. Okay, I
don't know. This is thirty four.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
Yeah, well do you know what I ate?

Speaker 2 (40:12):
Like shit?

Speaker 3 (40:12):
That's you know what it's like like I try and
eat half. You eat like shit because you still have time.
So and when I'm in a booth like eight hours,
I'm just eating Chris.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
And yeah, yeah, I keep it going Savwaches coffee.

Speaker 4 (40:22):
Yeah, I'm literally eight coffees a day, so I need
to get on. This week, I'm buying a barbecue.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
I didn't have time last week, so I'm buying a
barbecue this week because we're having Carli's siblings over. So
her brother, his wife and three kids, and then Carli's
other sister, her husband.

Speaker 4 (40:39):
Two kids are coming this weekend.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Are they just coming to day day? I think a
Memorial Day?

Speaker 4 (40:46):
Memorial Day?

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Sorry, yeah, summer, I apologize Memorial Day. So they're just
coming for that. And then obviously I'm I'm flying to
New York on Monday.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
But yeah, how are you you?

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Okay, guys, so I know you're all very passionate about
college golf, and if you're not, you should be because
because mel and Kira are going to We are going
to be on our absolute best behavior as the two
of us are going to be on Golf Central Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday super late. So if you're on the
East Coast and you need something to do from ten

(41:20):
to eleven pm, you are on TV, we will be there.
We will be there, be there or be square.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
Yeah, So I'm excited for us because I mean, obviously
this is a totally different format, which I think our
vibe can translate to TV, but we'll just have to
be a lot more buttoned up.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
Yeah, I know, No, you're fun. We can definitely do it.
I know the duo that everybody asks for.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
Literally people have been asking. I think maybe one person
did so nice.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
I'm actually really interested because obviously I never played college
golf as well, right, so I mean, you forgot to
take the test, I forgot to stay the test now.
But obviously, like I do pay a little bit of
attention because of like the new players coming on the
LPGA and things like that. But I'm really I'm really
excited for the challenge of like I'm really excited to
like to get to know these players really really well,

(42:15):
because obviously we have through the research and stuff, and yeah,
I'm just really.

Speaker 5 (42:18):
Yeah, I think it's gonna be awesome, and I'm doing
it with Yang. Hey, I've covered a lot of college
golf over the years. I've been on site to work
the NCAA's I mean, I was kept on that like
four years in a row, so I'm pretty familiar with
a lot of the programs, the coaches, obviously, the players turnover,
but it's fun and they I always every time i've

(42:42):
been in person there, I get so jealous of these
girls because I was such an idiot in high school
and decided that golf was dumb and I didn't want
to play college golf. And now that I see them,
how much fun they're having.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
The friendships they have, the amazing opportunities they get out
of playing college golf, like holy shit, like that, it's amazing.
So I just I see them and I and I
am so happy for them. Slightly, I'm also sad for me.
But it's okay, Yeah, it's okay, let it go. It
all worked out, everything's fine.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
Everything's fine. So yeah, I'm excited and I'm really excited
to it with you.

Speaker 4 (43:19):
So it'll be fair.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
Yeah, that'll be great. That'll be we you know what
we should do. We should like find a fun because
there's it's there's some beautiful waterfront walks. Let's do that.
Maybe we should do like yeah, I was thinking maybe
we should do like a like go down to Greenwich
and do a waterfront thing and I get a chic
lunch somewhere show.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
Wait, yeah, let's do that. Let's go do that.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
I think that would be nice because I never you
never have enough time during the day to do that
type of stuff. If you even if you're working at
two o'clock show, that means you have to be there
by eleven, and you're not. You're just not doing that.
But we don't have to be there until six, So
so we we could like get up yeah exactly, go
on a chic run home, and still have four hours

(44:01):
to pray.

Speaker 4 (44:02):
Yeah, oh my god, that's gonna be great.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
Yeah. I'm actually certainly halfier on late THO because it
means I can plan on Monday and I get a
extra day at home.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
I too, I'm not going to get there until Monday
as well, because so I'm spending the weekend. Andrew's fifteenth
Princeton Reunion is this weekend and reunions at Princeton are
like a very big deal. So we're going to do that.
And then I'm gonna I think I'm going to spend
the day in the city by myself. On Sunday, I
might see some people. I'm just like Bebop. I might

(44:30):
go on a long Central Park walk. I'm gonna get
a kassa bagel, maybe take myself out to a nice dinner.
Good for you, you know, I love that. And then
I think Monday, I'll just get a car to Stanford.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
Yeah, and then wait for me to get there. Yay.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
Cool that we've foun Do you have a shresh of
the week?

Speaker 3 (44:48):
Well, it was going to be the guy behind me,
but I'm going to change that now, Okay, I do.
It's just week Cactually I don't know why, but rental
cars do my fucking hea in because because especially at Philly, Okay,
you drop your car off and then you have to
wait for the bus. Right this bus the government is

(45:09):
a I think they have one, and it just goes
around like every fucking half an hour and it's so annoying.
So I had to wait like twenty minutes for like
this bus. It was just I hate I'm impatient when
it comes to things like that. I just especially in
the terminals literally fifty yards away. I'm just like, should
I just walk over there? Like yeah, but you can't
because you have to cross the main road and all
that crap. So you're kind of stuck. But rental cars buses,

(45:31):
get your shit together.

Speaker 4 (45:32):
People are usually in a rush.

Speaker 3 (45:34):
AKA me, so can we just get more of a
consistent flow of the buses please?

Speaker 2 (45:39):
I second this. I tend to judge airports by how
good the rental car situation is. Like Orlando Horrible Airport,
Great rental car situation, r rental car uh, the Santa
Anna Airport, John Wayne in Orange County Airport, go, great
rental car situation. You just walk right across the street.

(46:01):
I saw, well, if they had a bus, that would
be like, well, yeah, that's a great point. But in Newark.
I got a rental car in Newark the other day.
And you take a train, which is fine. I think
the train is fine. But then you get off the
train and there's sign that says twelve minute walk to

(46:21):
rental cars, and it's like concrete that's all bumpby blum
be not even, and you're dragging your ship for ten minutes. Yeah,
it is, so it's like huffing and puffing by the time.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
It's a pain in the ass.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, I agree that rental Detroit shiitalls.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
Trash awful, trash awful. San Francisco I think is the
best airport in America. Francis SFO is the best airport
in America. However, if you're renting your car, not ideal,
you gotta train. Oh that's a I don't even don't well,
that's a horrible air and a horrible.

Speaker 3 (47:01):
Yes, absolutely horrific. To be fair, Manchester was pretty shit
on the old rental cars as well, if you wanted
to know that.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
In the k yeah, I've never never been so shure.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
You just walk up and get a car that you
have to go through the guy, and it's just annoying
to annoy the guy.

Speaker 2 (47:15):
I hate the guy.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
I hate a guy.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
You shi the week, well you can probably hear it.
I really don't feel good. I forced myself to go
to Pilatees this morning and I just was like I
could feel my sinuses moving in my head every time
I changed positions. I could feel myself getting sick. On
the flight home on Wednesday night. I don't I like,

(47:41):
I don't know if there are people sneezing around me
or what, but I could just feel it seeping in
and there's nothing, nothing to be done. And I got
sure enough. I got home on Thursday, and you know
when you start to feel your nose just have like
hot breath, it's like a hot yeah thing in there.
And by Thursday night she was, yeah, so I'm trying

(48:03):
to I'm like drinking breath and water and doing all
I can, but it's one of.

Speaker 4 (48:06):
Those just not shifting.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
You just gotta wait it out.

Speaker 4 (48:09):
Yeah, no annoying. So about how do you feel beat?

Speaker 6 (48:14):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (48:15):
Yeah, this is my main thing today. I'm gonna go
send on the couch.

Speaker 4 (48:20):
I'm gonna go pick come up, and then say on
the couch.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Okay, good, just kind of let you sit on the
couch or how indeed, you probably have to like engage
with a small child, right.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
Well, he's he's he's a very good independent player, but
with me, he wants to play with me all the time.
So and I can't say now, I'm like, so I'm
just too soft with him. So I will sit there
and just we have this scene.

Speaker 4 (48:41):
In the minute. He just wants to pay trains. Dude.

Speaker 3 (48:44):
I hope parents can say it's so boring. It's literally
his life. So like I'm just going around just rolling
the train and then have to go to too, and
it gets close to his and then we fucking do
that for like an hour, and I'm just like, oh
my god, But the things you do for children.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
Yeah, I have four nephews that, uh are all under
the age of ten, and one of them just got
old enough to he really is liking sports on TV.
And so we watched the PGA Championship together on Sunday
and he was asking me so many great questions about
the golf. Yes, he was like, what is in and

(49:20):
what does it mean? And out mean on the scorecard
because they would flash.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
The sc really kind of a question.

Speaker 2 (49:26):
It took me a second and I was like, oh, like,
he went out in thirty four clubhouse, so I had
to explain, like it's based on going out from the
clubhouse and then coming back in where you get on
the back, like explaining front nine and back nine and
bogey and Bertie and and even par and what with that,

(49:48):
like to shoot five under what does that mean?

Speaker 3 (49:51):
It's funny, isn't it, Because when we're in it, we don't.
We just talked about it language, isn't it. It's so funny.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
It was so cute. He was so so curious about it.
It was really fun to watch with him and see
it through a kid's eyes.

Speaker 3 (50:05):
So that's cute. That's really cute.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
All right, cool, Love you, See.
