(00:24):
to Quiet Please, Kira here, Melon here, Mel. It's gonna
be a great day because I got a spray tan
and we are talking about the US Open.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
You do the very sun kissed?
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Do you guys do that?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I lost spray.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Times eyby once in a while. I used to get
them a lot more obviously back in the day. But
if anyone out there is feeling mentally ill or depressed,
try getting a spray tan. See what it does for
you then and then you can, you know, go to therapy. Yeah,
but first stop spray.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Tan and then therapy. I need to goa therapy and
then spray time mass. Just don'ts go spray twen. This
is years ago. She was watching me in Sunnydale, God
years and years ago because she's going to a wedding.
My sister's quite first skin Joanne, and it was kind
of their one of them friends situations.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Honestly, I saw her when she came out on.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
The golf course and I was like, oh, she was
like looked like an upper lumper, so kind of like cheeto.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, I haven't got too many.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Actually, do you know what I might? I'm like, no,
I'm not gonna. I'm not really a spray tan person.
I don't like get naked in front of people.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah, I don't care. I will because we also don't
have to get naked.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Well I know, but then and you also sometimes get
the cow licks under the bum. I've learned that lesson,
you know what I mean, Like, you know, the crease
of your bum, you have to like stretch them out,
don't you like underneath your bum thing?
Speaker 1 (01:41):
I mean you don't have a big bomb. They just
like you just bend over a little.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
I don't have a big bum, okay, but your.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Bom isn't like sagging down where it needs to know,
I know, it doesn't need to be a play.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Carry on, okay, carry on?
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Right, So yeah, I just think you know, there's a
nice in San Francisco that does organic, non toxic.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
You know expect.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
So it's it's it's quite lovely.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
I'm very happy for you.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Great. Other than that incredible breaking news, we have a
lot to talk about today. Uh, this is our official
US Open preview pod. We also are going to recap
some of the happenings on the LPGA PGA tours, some
news and notes, and send everybody off on their way
so that they can enjoy an incredible week at Shinnacock.
(02:32):
But Mel, you are just coming off of the Dow
Championship yep, and you've had quite the last week.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Yes, So Dow Championship is the only team championship that
we have that is in Michigan, Midland, Michigan. I was
going to say my family mccalli and Kai came out.
While they are my family, they are your favor Yeah,
because I'm in a midle of a five week stretch.
That kind of broke it up. And it was awesome.
Kai was amazing. He loved daycare, so shouts there, Yeah,
(03:02):
Joy and Sarah, thank you very much for looking after
our boy. He loved the golf cart ride to the
course every morning. It was just a really sometimes then
she can. I don't know, they seem a bit overwhelming
because you're so busy, but I was in the booth
so it was quite nice hours and Kyle was just
an absolute angel and Midland Do a really cool job
and the hotel were in was great out of pool
and stuff. And then Midland do really in the downtown.
(03:23):
They kind of bring all the restaurants and bars out
so kids can just like and it's all closed off
so all the kids can kind of play.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
So it was a really nice week.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
It was sad to let's see them go on Sunday morning,
but but yes, So the Dow Championship a really fun event.
Nellie Corder was playing straight off her US WIMS Open
win with Olivia Cow and they were actually I think
they were like one off. The league going into the
weekend didn't have a great Saturday with the foursome fourbat format,
but Gina Kim and Yanna Wilson one.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
So.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yanna Wilson is a nineteen year old rookie, absolute stude.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
She's very very good.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
She's definitely a name to watch out for in the future,
and just nineteen, which is just absolutely mental. And then
you've got Guna Kim who's kind of been on and
off the tour the last four years and got the
wind done incredible. I mean, it's just I don't know,
I thought it was really cool, like Guna's been.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Struggling for a while and then she's coming off.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
I think she's only made three cuts this year, and
then all of a sudden, you get your mate with
you and you just I don't know. Yeah, it just
brings the best out in you and you get to
share the pressure and everything like that. So it was
awesome to get them to get the win together. Good
buddies from Epsen Tour last year, so it.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Was a fun event. It was good.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
So do they get like how when Matt Fitzpatrick and
his brother Alex Fitzpatrick one of the on the pgator,
do they get full status both of them, the whole nine.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yep, you get see me points.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
You always to get money and then you get to
your exemption, so massive for both of them. Players are massive, huge, huge,
so they Yeah, couldn't be happy for them.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
It was awesome. It was awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Who have you played this event with in the past?
Speaker 3 (05:01):
I played with Colotta, I played with Sue Oh, and
then I played with Bronsi the last couple of years,
So me and Bronsi.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Have been pairing it up.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Julie.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Also other news in that tournament, Julie Inkster was playing
with angel yind oldest played on the LPGA to make
the Curt sixty five.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
It's crazy and.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
They were totally boring and didn't make anything funny.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Can know, as expected from Julie, She's still competitive as hell,
you know, I don't know. We were watching on the
broadcast and I was like, oh, we missed light and
I know, like in team events you definitely see more
emotion from the players, which is great. But Judy's just
got so much fight and fire and emotion and she's
just energetic and it's a slight old school I was like, God,
(05:42):
that's so fun to watch. So big up to Jules.
She did an incredible job. Her and angel kick in
the cup.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
That's yeah, amazing.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
I love that they let her play, I know, I know,
so yeah, it was just it was It's a good week.
It's very kind of relaxed week in a way, and
it just creates cool stories. It always does at that event.
And now do a great job all right.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Well over on the PGA Tour, there was a really
great story with Bud Caully winning on the PGA Tour
for the first time. You might remember hearing about a
horrific accident that Bud Cally was in at the Memorial
Tournament like ten years ago. Now yeah, it was like
twenty eighteen, I think, something crazy. And since then he's
(06:28):
been He had to take four years away from the
peak of his professional golf career. He had a crushed leg,
he had issues with his ribs, his lungs, he had
to have plates put in and removed. He had like
a surgical stitch thing rip open and leak it. I mean,
just everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Infections.
(06:51):
I know that he at one point thought that it
was not going to work out for like life, let
alone golf. So he can you imagine taking away so
four years of professional golf or any sort of competitive golf.
It's completely stepping back and then coming back and winning.
(07:13):
I mean there's one thing to even make it back
to the meg Tour. That's that's insane, and not just
be like on the corn Ferry Tour or something like that.
To win. I know, it is wild.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
It's mental and like, I don't know, I think it's
a professional golfer. Even if you take a few days off,
like you just feel weird, like you feel like you
can't play golf anymore. So it's take four years, especially
of competitive golf, and to come back the way he has.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
I mean, yeah, it was.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
It was just a really really cool again, another really
really cool story. And he was like the stud, wasn't
he coming out of college when he first came out,
Like he was the guy there.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Everyone was like Walker Cup Yeah, just doing all the things. Yeah,
he's Besti's with like Ricky Feller, justin Thomas's in that crew.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
So yeah, it does an incredible win.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Talk about perseverance, and he's got obviously a family now,
so he's you know, he's a little bit different active
and you know that Kishi going, doesn't it so just
and he's also like not a big hitter like I
feel like.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
As well. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
I always find it impressive, especially on the Men's Tour,
because it's so such about power, isn't it. And he
just plays his own game and got it done. And
he was clutched down the stretch like just played a
killer back nine and deserves it in a big event.
So it was yeah, really really cool story. I think
a lot of people are very happy for him.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah, yeah for sure, So congrats Bud, happy for you.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
And we did a shotgun to just called his wedding
in bud did you. Yeah, he didn't think I could
beat him, and I did. I was coming off in
like all three weddings and two weekends, so I was
I was a well oiled engine.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, I'm sure you're a well oiled machine at that, yeain,
So we'll get him underestimating you.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
How how ver dare you? How very dare you never
do that?
Speaker 1 (08:57):
No?
Speaker 2 (08:58):
No, no, especially drinking.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
You know who would lose in a shotgunning competition?
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Who you?
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Yes? Have you have a shotgun?
Speaker 1 (09:11):
No? Maybe once I tried in college and like sputtered.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
I feel like you're not ready the shotgun type.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
I'm a sipper.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, I bet you never did funnels
or anything.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
No, oh my god.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Yeah, although I did have lots of d MS of
people sticking up for me in beer Pong Gate to
twenty twenty sets.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Very good.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
So anybody anybody out there about lists listening to that story,
and you're written by dms telling me that that you're
on my side. Yeah, thank you, appreciate I appreciate you.
All right. Nellie Korda is in New York this week
today or whatever, When you listen to this. It will
(09:57):
have been this week doing a us O been pressed her,
She's on the Today Show, she's on billboards. She is
doing the most in the best way possible. This is
exactly what the LPGA and Women's Golf should be doing.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, unbelievab that she's doing it.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
I mean, I've kind of thought she would do, but
this is she deserves to do this as well, Like
I don't know, she needs to be a household more
of a household name than she and then she already is.
And she looks good as well, by the way, like
she's style in some fashionable, trendy stuff.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
I'm sure you'll have more of an input on that
than me. But yeah, just really cool. And I think
that like.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
I don't know, like I feel like when she if
she does stuff like this or now she is doing
stuff like this, Like I don't know, I just feel
like makes you feel something, makes you feel like, oh wow,
I did accomplish something pretty cool. It just gives you
a second to disappreciate the incredible achievement that you've done.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
So big up to nails the doing that.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, and Rory did a lot of that stuff around
having won the Master's tournament. I don't think he did
it the second time, but and who knows if not
able to ever do it again. But for her to
go and do it after winning the biggest tournament in
women's golf. Yeah, you know, if we're if we're not
doing it then with that star, Yeah, what are we doing? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Exactly? Can I agree more so? Well done, Nel's you
deserve all of it. You deserve all of it.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah, yeah, shout out Nike. No free ads. But Nike
did put her in some cool stuff, Yes.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
They did, they did.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
She had like these shoes on when like her feet
were like a toes, like old school you know, remember
them old school Nike shoes that everyone was obsessed with
like twenty years ago, that separated your toes.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Maybe it was it England thing. It look makes you
look like a turtle.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
No, no, that we're going to get into a peepto
debate here.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Well not quite. But they were very fashionable in the UK.
I'd prepair of those bad chess.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
I didn't see her shoes, but I'm sure she looked great.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Yeah, it's like back of this trendy.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
I'm also funny enough wearing a Nike Swoosh sweatshirt. This
is from Michelle's official retirement US Open each. This was
the line of I just I'm just looking at myself
and realizing that I dressed for the occasional.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
It's very sort who knew?
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Thank you? Yeah, so they've got to make Nellie like
a special edition something for next year.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Did you see that the Nicks won the end? This
was like a sneaky crazy week in sports. The Knicks
win the NBA Championship, and then yesterday Andrew had the
hockey on and I was like, oh, is this a
game of consequence? And he goes, it's the Stanley Cup Final.
I was like, oh, who knew? That's to the Carolina Hurricids.
(12:50):
I think hockey is not my sport. Sorry, but it
was on in our house.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Stanley Cup's fun in it?
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Did you miss?
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Do you like watching hockey? I love watching hockey.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
I love on TikTok when girls are making tiktoks about
hockey and they go, oh, let's go to the boy aquarium. Okay,
so this week, so yes, I like hockey. Okay, cool?
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Heated? Raby's done hockey wonders. By the way, whenever I
can give a.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Shout, I haven't watched it, you have to know it's
so good. So yes, big week this week, US open.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Oh we're not commenting on the next wedding. I mean
you don't care. Okay, I don't care about next Sorry okay.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Well, also, is tatus with a Knicks fan?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Yes? A fan? Well? I think. I mean, first of all,
she's she has like a long standing history with the Knicks.
She's saying the national anthem, I think for them a
million times. She lives in New York, where she has
residents in New York, and and honestly, I don't care
because she wore that amazing Knicks shirt, which I or,
(14:00):
I'm not a Knicks fan, and you kind of wanted
that shirt. Yeah, anything with Stevie Nicks on it.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Yah.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Did I ever tell you that I had to sing
the national anthem in front of Stevie Nicks one time?
Did you?
Speaker 2 (14:09):
When you're doing Miss America?
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Yeah? No way. It was at a USO gala and
she was the honoree that they had me singing the
national anthem, which L O L I was I've never
been more of.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
I was gonna say.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
I got to meet her after though.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
That's cool.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
And and uh, what's his face? Mick Fleetwood? Oh cool, yeah,
oh cool. There's a picture of me meet with them.
Very nice, Flax, thanks nice. Everybody knows just so nice.
I mean I built my entire personality around That's actually
pretty cool. Yeah that is anyway.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Anyway, moving on from Karen's flex about myself whatever, No,
I just wrote names out there.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Taylor brought up Stevie Nick. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
Okay, well she's a legit fan, okay, because she was
originally Okay, so with football, obviously she has to spat
Kansas City.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Because but no, she's an Eagles fan. I know she is.
I know she is.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
But she has to wear like Kansas City stuff in
Kansas City. Oh yeah, yeah, I know. So I just
get confused. I get confused.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Well, I think that's different. I think if you have
a loved one that's playing for the team, team.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Carlie wears Europe stuff during Sulheim see here.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Yeah, but Taylor went with Travis to what I believe
is a Calves game. I think that that's the basketball
team that he would be a fan of because of
Ohio or wherever the play, and she did not wear
a stitch of red or anything. Swell team done because
she's an X man.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Well done, well don Taylor, Okay, cool, I just want
to clarify it.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Now you can transition us to the but you actually
want to talk about not Taylors.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
She took about Now, I don't mind talking about Taylor Swifts.
I've become a bit more of a fan of hers
of late. But anyway, big week this week US open
here at Shinnecock Hills, which is a beach to get to,
by the way, but it's totally worth it.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
It's unbelievable golf course.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
One of my favorite weeks of the year, and luckily
enough doing on course this week it will be really fun.
I'm doing it for Sky, so I've went at home
in England. If you want to hear my voice switch
on Sky unfortunately for you guys, but and you're going
to be here.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
I am. I'm going to be on site for NBC
doing interviews there you go. Yeah, So everybody at home
aka America that's listening switch on the US opening. You'll
hear my lie I.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
See, yeah, you'll hear Kerrie K. Dixon reporting for duty.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Have you been to Chiticop before the first event that
I ever was a reporter quote reporter for was the
twenty eighteen US Opening show really for the USGA. Okay,
they had called called me and asked if I would
do digital championship coverage for them starting at the that
US Open and they yes, and they I had never
(17:02):
done a studio show. They used to build. The USGA
used to build their own studio show that would be
broadcast on or streamed I guess on Facebook and Instagram
live or whatever was the thing in twenty eighteen, so
we would have our own set, our own talent, everything.
So I worked for that show and they asked me to,
I don't know, like on the second day or something,
(17:23):
write a report and do this report on Gary Woodland.
And I was like, cool, what what's a report? Oh?
So they sat me down and literally they showed me
some examples of other people that I've done reports and
showed me how to do it, and I did it.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
The rest is history.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Literally, the rest is history. That's right.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Really excited to shoe very cool.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Yeah, I'm back now as the NBC Network broadcast interviewer.
That's three years later, wow, which was a cool full
circle thing for me.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Yeah, that's wholeesome.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
So, yes, I've been there.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Okay, cool, that's how I didn't know that. That's very cool.
Have you been there? I'm excited to see it. Yeah,
out there?
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Really?
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Have you ever been to the Hamptons?
Speaker 2 (18:06):
No, I feel like I would thrive in the Hampton's.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, I mean there's different ways to do there's different
ways to do the Hamptons. You can be like crunchy
Hamptons or you could be billionaire Hampton's and there's plenty
of iterations in between. I've been because I used to
live in New York City, so I've been to the
Hamptons several times for either friends or golf. For in college,
(18:31):
we would go. Andrew and I have been a couple
of times for fun, and I've never felt like it's exclusionary.
I mean, obviously there's super insane, bougie exclusive places, and
the golf is incredible. I would love to go as
an adult, like a real adult. Now. I feel like
(18:52):
I'm technically a real adult these days.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
I think that you probably are.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Yeah, yeah, yea yeah, so yeah, like rent a proper
house to the beach to do all of that for
a couple of weeks. You can't get short term rentals
in the Hampton's. I believe I can't just rent a
house for a weekend that you can stay in hotels,
but they're very expensive, right, so if you do a
two week rental or something like that, that sounds fun.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Okay, Yeah, I would probably do that.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yeah, I've always wanted to go to the Hampton's actually
always so am my I technically in the Hamptons.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Now, then.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
I don't know where you're staying.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Oh well, it's Shinnecock in the Hampton's.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yes, Shinnecock is very much okay in it's like the center. Okay,
so it's right. So Southampton is just south of Shinnakock.
So that town right around Shinnacock is Southampton. Then you've
got East Hampton. It's all around there, okay, so it's
all quite close. Okay. The one thing about having a
US open up there is the traffic is pain absolutely insane.
(19:51):
I mean it is a small island that's built for
not that many people. So they're they're training people in
from the city. And there's a train stop right across
the street from Shinnecock. The youth you theoretically would get
off at the train stop across a bridge and then
you're right at the golf course. So that's kind of
the way to get there. Otherwise, Uh, it's what they
(20:11):
call the trade parade. So all of the people that
work in the Hampton's every day in the summertime, they're
all driving in in the mornings and then also leaving
in the afternoon, so you get that hot and all
of that. But you're going to be working all day long,
so you might be there, might be okay, you might
be beating the train right on the way and it's yeah,
(20:33):
I mean it. But if you go at the wrong time,
you could be stuck in a car for two three hours. Wow.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Well yeah, it literally just took me two hours to
get here from LaGuardia, which is forty miles away.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
That sounds spot right. Yeah yeah. How is the traffic shit? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Shit?
Speaker 3 (20:49):
And they drive like like crazy asses over here prop
in New York is so you've got to be paying
attention to all the time.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
I'm not even I'm not getting a car. I have
a car service that picks me up at the airport,
and then because I have to be I have like
this weird time in between Shinnecock and then travelers next week,
Like what am I going to do with the car
staying in the city. It just didn't make sense. Yeah,
and I figured out a way to stay closer to
(21:14):
the course, so I don't need one exactly anyway, hopefully
good move. But other than our golter elements to us
are all about logistics, I know.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Like, like I said that, it was the same with
the PGA champ Like, it's just these old school golf
courses that like there's just not built for like that
many people and such a small kind of property. So
it's just a pain in the ass to get in
and out. But like you said, my hours are long,
so hopefully hopefully. Plus, Anna Jackson is not staying far away,
and I think she might have a spare couch. So
she said, like, they've got a house, so if I'm
(21:47):
starting to get tired, I might just crash.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
On the couch. Yeah, I think that that's a good idea.
So did it right? They got a bunch of for
their talent, I think.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
I know.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Brenda was telling me how amazing this house is, so oh,
shut up.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Under whatever. It's fine. I'm happy for you, Randall, but
shouldn't like what are you gonna do not have a
US Open Chinnacock. It's one of five found in clubs
at USGA. The figure it out. Yeah, maybe by the
time there's the next US Open will be there. We
can all take personal drunes.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Well to travel.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
Yeah, okay, let's do that. Should we just put that? Yeah,
let's do that. Okay that I'd be happy with that.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Let's do that.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Yeah, Andrews Andrews working on the drunes.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Okay, cool? Yeah, I get to pull his finger on there.
Do the girls? Do the girls solid?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Get me a personalized drug? We just have autonomous drone
so we can.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Stay in the in the west village in the city
and then we just get joined in.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
That would be nice. That would be nice. They do
have helicopter you never have you ever heard of the
Blade service Blades Blades, Oh, yes, I have. It's like
you can pay head cutters. Yeah, it's just like several
thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Okay, Well, I would like to make money this week,
so I probably won't be doing that.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Anyway. We are very excited for all the stories that
are to come. Mel and I are going to kind
of play the same game that we played around the
US Women's Open, which ended up working out great because
Nellie won and that's exactly what you had predicted. Bell.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
I have five stories each about the US Open and
what all our listeners can look out for pay attention
to while you were watching. So Mel, if you want
to kick us off with your first story that you're tracking.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
I'm tracking Tommy flee this week because I think it's
only amount of time. Well, we're going to talk about
this a lot, but it's only amount of time we've
spoke about it a lot. I should say, amount of
time for Tommy Fleeb to win a major championship. I
feel like with his iron play, these kind of complex greens,
the big white fairies, so not many players are going
to miss like a ton You're not really going to
(23:51):
get in trouble by, you know, missing fairies because they're
so worried.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
I mean, if you miss them, you're a bit screwed.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
I'm gonna pull for my boy Tommy this week. I
really am. I think he's the one that I'm going
to be watching.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
I would love him to get it done, and I
just love Tommy, so I think that he's definitely my radar, so.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
I had to piggyback off of that. I had a
storyline that I was thinking would be who's my winner
and who's my loser? So my my loser. Unfortunately, I
love you, Tommy. I'm please don't take this personally. If
you're listening, I know, I know, I love Tommy so much,
but I Tommy is not my winner this week. Okay,
(24:32):
I just I don't know. I don't see it happening.
Please prove me wrong. Please. I would love that, but
it's just like he's been playing really well lately, but
it's just not crossing the finish line. Yeah, and that's
kind of been his story for a lot of his
PG to our career. For Tommy, if we would to
get it done in a major championship, would be amazing
(24:54):
in golf. But I would rather he save his major
championship win this year for the Open Championship because that's
like his big dream in life. So if he's gonna
win one, I personally would let rather be that. So
he is not my winner this week.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Okay, here's your winner.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
My winner this week is Cameron Young and I picked
him for the PGA and I'm gonna pick him again,
because I think that he played amazing at the Master's Tournament.
It was okay at the PGA, but he's from New York.
He knows these golf courses. He is on fire this season.
He's got three wins. Right, Yeah, I just would not
(25:35):
be surprised at all if Cameron Young took Shinnecock and
just absolutely dominated it.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Interesting would be my pick. Okay, Okay, do I now
need to pick a loser?
Speaker 1 (25:47):
You can do whatever you want, but that's my first story. Okay,
my winner, my loser in my first.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Okay, I've got a good one for you. What do
you think is gonna be the winning school.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
M two over?
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Do you? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (26:03):
I when it's an overpart?
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Okay? Okay, you think it's going to be four under?
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Really?
Speaker 2 (26:11):
I think it's going to be three or four under.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Well, actually, you know what, you might be right because
it seems like it's going to rain.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Yeah, and the fairies have been widened compared to what
it was in twenty eighteen. They're a lot more generous,
and if it's going to rain, it'll be softer, So
I think under I think three or four under will
win it.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Okay, Okay, yeah, I'm probably wrong. You're probably right, Holly.
It happens some summed very rarely, very rarely. Okay, that's
good luck, all right. My second story is Scotti Shuffler
and his opportunity to complete the career Grand Slam. Yeah,
(26:51):
I think that it's not outside of the realm. If
I wasn't picking Caramen Young, I would be picking Scotti Shuffler.
I think it's just hard to pick the guy that
has the career Grand Slam on the line. But if
anyone could do, it would be Scotty. He's had all
these runner up finishes this season. He's obviously he's not
He's not had the best his best stuff consistently all season.
But Scotty's B minus game. It's like everybody else is
(27:13):
eight plus, so pretty good.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
So what was my question? Is that my question? The story?
Speaker 1 (27:20):
We just go back and forth.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Okay, well, I don't know that. I don't know how
to played clear.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
If you have, we just played it, I have something
to comment on what I just said.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
You can' and then you I don't think ST's gonna win.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
So you've done too, You've done You've done Tommy, and
you've done the winning score and now this is your third.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Okay I first, first of all, I don't think Tommy.
I don't think Scotty's gonna win. Okay, Okay, I just
don't here's your loser. He's one of my Yeah, he's
definitely one of them. I think I hate talking about
this missing cuts, but I think I think JJ Spontn
is going to miss the Cup.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
I know.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
I feel fact the.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Defending champion made a sixty four foot around the eighteenth
last year to win by two after rain and craziness
at Oakmont.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
Yeah, and I feel bad saying that, but I just, yeah,
I just had a tough year. Yeah, already has gone
to win.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
You did get a win.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Also to put you back on my own story kind of.
I don't know why I'm doing this, but I do
feel like Shittacott. I do feel like the cream is
going to rise to the top. Like I do think
it's going to be like a top ten, top fifteen
player in the world is going to win a shineacock.
You know you're not going to get Not that Rando
was like a JJ spawn or anything like that, but
do you know what I mean? I feel like we're
going to get like a you know, top ten player
(28:38):
in the world winning.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
This proper winner. Yeah yeah, okay, I could, I mean
certainly see that. Yeah, okay, so this is now my
thor do you think it's going to miss the cup?
Who do I think is going to miss?
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Like a good player? Yeah, there's always one good player.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
This is a cup.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
Don't say Tommy.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
No, I'm not gonna say Tommy. I think Tom's gonna play. Well,
it's just a bird or fourth or whatever. I don't
know about missing. I think JJ spot is a really
good one to miss the cut. Okay, Oh sorry, jj Okay,
you know what I'll go with Brooks Kopka. Oh why
(29:23):
you do not to my boy?
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Because he's got a thumb problem or something, isn't he?
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Yeah? Yeah? So he withdrew from the before the final
round of the RBC Canadian Open. He was playing really well.
He is the twenty eighteen winner of the US Open
at Shinnecock, so obviously he likes Shinnecock. But I could
see him between maybe not having his greative ball striking
because of the hand and he's had horrible putting up
(29:49):
and down all year. And if you don't have that, Jenny,
you're probably not going to do great, so I think unfortunately,
I would say Brooks, okay, sorry, books.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Do you think it's going to be in a drama
this week?
Speaker 1 (30:04):
Well, there has been some drama about Phil, that's all.
So that'll probably be the talk of the town. We
don't really need to dive into it, but if you
want to read the story about it, go to Golf Digest.
They and this is something that we've been hearing about
for a while for months.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Yeah, that's fair. That drama likely the drama.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
But back in twenty eighteen, Phil obviously had the whole
fiasco because the golf course had you know, they had
they had bad luck with the weather, the greens that
there was no friction on the greens so balls were
flying off. You know, it was it was a tough
scene and Phil didn't handle it well. It was a
whole thing. So yeah, anyway, moving on. So anyway, so
(30:52):
setting that aside, so Shinnacock that could be my next story.
So Shinnacock itself as the venue. We had a prep
call it's the USGA earlier this week, and you know,
it seems like they've they really went above and beyond
to talk to players interview players get their feedback about
what went wrong, what was right. Shin o'clock is an
(31:13):
incredibly difficult menu given just like it's literally on the ocean,
it's going to rain, they could have crazy wind, they
could have crazy sun that you kind of never really know.
So I think that they will have figured it out
and they've put some good contingency plans in place to
make sure that nothing like what happened in twenty eighteen happens.
And I don't think it's fair when people are like
(31:35):
they lost the golf course. I don't think that that's
necessarily fair and you're not really giving enough context and
nuanced by saying that. But I think that the golf
course will be a start this week.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
Yeah, I agree. I always think like, well, I think
GA do do a fantastic job. And the thing is
with like a US Woman's Open and a men's US Open,
is they do really have to take it to the
threshold because you are trying to get every single thing
out of the final champions Game of the world exactly,
and so it is they do have to push the
(32:07):
boundaries a little bit, which I love. Obviously, we all
love as fans watching it because it kind of shows
these incredible you know, players kind of look a little
bit not human, but it's a mental grind and you
can see the frustration and stuff, and so it's it.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
Really.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
I think they do a great job. But I thought
they did a great job at riv and I think that. Yeah,
like you said, I think they're going to do a
fantastic job here as well. So I'm excited. I'm excited
to see it.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
So this is your fourth right, Okay, Oh, what do.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
You think the cut's going to be? See, I'm not
doing scores. I don't know why I don't like this.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
I'm not a scores person. I do stories.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
I think plus six is going to be the cup. Okay, cool, okay, cool,
let's do some amateurs then. Actually, I can't pronounce the
second name, Jason corbacks In Jackson Corvack quiet cove.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Oh they just turned he just turned pro. Yeah, okay,
actually I'm going to sidetrack off this.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Watch him. He's really bloody good.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
Okay, I'm going to give a shower to my man,
Miles Russell, actually, the seventeen year old who used He's
at Atlantic Beach Country Club, which is where I used
to be a member, so I used to play a
bunch with him. A couple of my buddies are actually
coming up to watch him. He qualified with Charlie Woods
on the bag, very very cool story.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
He's just an exceptional player, and I don't really want
to tell you.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
He's just he's He's going to play a college golf
at FSU. I think, yep, with Charlie five minutes, and
then he's going to turn pro. Yeah, well, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
Actually, because maybe with the PGA Tour, you I think
that I think that that's been such a good little
addition that it actually keeps him in college a little
bit longer, which is great. So yeah, just definitely, everyone
keep an eye on him. He's an exceptional young players,
exceptional young man. He's got great family and I'm excited
to see some of my boys come up this week,
(34:11):
so that will be fun. But yeah, just keep an
eye on him because he's he's gonna I really do
think he's gonna be the next big thing. So just
it's going to be interesting to see how he does
this week. Would not be surprised if he made the
cut at all. He's so good it could be a
low emitter. Yeah, he's just so good and qualified, you know,
(34:31):
through a qualifying and he had a triple and a
double in that and still qualified, which is just insane.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
That's wild, I know.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
So yeah, definitely keep your eyes on him.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Love it, thank you. Oh let's see what else could
I have?
Speaker 2 (34:45):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (34:46):
Did you know that Adam Scott is playing in his
one hundred yes, consecutive major. That's that's pretty cool. I
know that's longevity. If I've ever heard it saying, isn't
it I think about that.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
That's insane.
Speaker 1 (35:02):
For majors a year for twenty five years, that's a joke, executively.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
Like a joke. How good that is?
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Like that's the start that I think Angela Stamford did
ninety nine and yeah didn't I know that didn't give
her the invite to the Open anyway, but just incredible balks,
just incredible. Just like when I think about that, I'm like,
holy shit, Like you don't miss one in twenty five years?
Speaker 1 (35:25):
That's just that's wild. Yeah. Absolutely, n that's when he stops,
thank you, When he stops playing, he's going to be like,
what do I do? Know? These times? I know he's
always busy in April. He's always busy in Jude.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Yeah, he's always busy like July July. Yeah, I know,
I know, but you might get one hundred and twenty five.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
You don't know.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
That would be great.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
Yeah, I love that. So yeah, that's a great story.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
I like that a lot.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Okay, my fifth story. Let me have a think.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
I don't know, do you I have two yeah, I
have two extras.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
Okay, obvious.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Okay, so I would have to stat check this. Actually,
let's see what you think. So the twenty twenty two winner,
Matt Fitzpatrick. I got an email today from PGA to
Communications saying he's playing in his forty fifth major. Yeah.
Probably that is insane. Yeah, that's I just see him
(36:31):
as so young and he's finn Wait, no, that can't
be right. I bet it is.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
I bet he's been playing. It's like twenty thirteen.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
I know, but Wyndham Clark has only played a nineteen
career made.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
But I feel like it has I feel like Matt's
Fitzpatrick's been way more consistent.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
That's true. Also, he uh, he's number one in the
FedEx Cup standings right now. Who Matt Fitzpatrick. He just
said Scottish Chaffler. Yes, oh yeah, yeah. Google says he's
played in over forty so forty five sons, right, yeah,
because he finished second or something at the RBC Canadian
(37:09):
Open and that finished the last. Yeah, put him ahead
of Scottie Shuffler. Anthetics that works.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
I didn't know that good gone fizzy boy, go on man,
gone fizzy boy. Sketches stuck through the reef, so the right,
I mean it's working, gets through sketches.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
Everyone get some slipping sketches. So he's one to watch,
I think.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
And then my my last one, my honorable mention is
Wyndham Clark is back a year after the locker oh
yeah fiasco of twenty twenty five at Oakmont. Yeah. If
you don't know what we're talking about, you can google it.
But basically he destroyed a locker at Oakmond and it
led to this whole horrible thing. He's had a redemption
(37:57):
arc this year he won, and in his winter interview
I think it was at Colonial, he talked about, uh,
the fact that he had this thing happened in Oakmont
and that he's, you know, it's grateful for the opportunity
to prove himself and come back and that these sponsors
have stuck with him and blah blah blah. So he's
clearly aware of the situation and he's willing to be honorable,
(38:20):
vulnerable about it and open about it. Of course, he
won the US Open at la CC. But we'll see
how it is.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
So I don't know if you're aware, but there's a
big football tournament going on called the World Car that's.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Fun, lots of sports sports show. Yes we are, it's
been on in our health. Andrew's been watching Good Goods.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Yeah, went on Wednesday, four o'clock easton.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Yes, me and Oli are going to go find a
bar because Skylight saying right, we're cutting off at three,
so if one could go watch.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
I love that so well. Basically it happened in the
Rugby World Cup as well.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Based on Japan are just the most amazing nation ever
and they basically clean up like the stadiums and like
they're just very respectful. They do all the locker room,
like the players will fold everything so neatly in the
locker room. There's well not necessarily just other teams that
we're just they're just we're just pre on. Everyone's just
prema in the Football World, and apparently people have been
(39:17):
sending it to Windham Clark going this is how you
treat a locker room. So he's been getting a bit
of stick I think from the way that the Japanese
football team have respectfully been leaving the locker room.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
So he's it's coming back to.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
Again.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Yeah, but I thought it was quite funny.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
That is funny. Well, you know, if you're going to
do stuff like that, you got to be able to take.
Here it comes, come watch with us.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
You'll love it. We'll shotguns a beer.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Yeah, we definitely will come on me and only will
take good care of you. I'm going to be on
the golf course working all day well four o'clock in
a windstake on. Literally, that is exactly what I'm doing
my work, That's what I'm That's when I'm going out
on the golf course to see what poor soul is
still trying to grind at four o'clock the day before
an early Thursday morning.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Okay, well I will send you.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
You find desperation and people willing to talk.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
That's true, that is true.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
That was me.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
I was grinding out there on a Wednesday night and saying,
please help me find something that is my sweet spot. Yeah,
please help me find something so I can have some
sort of peace tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
There's nothing worse than being out there on a Wednesday
at five and seeing Kira Dixon coming down the FREI
guys trying so hard to grind exactly way, little Bombshell
coming over. Hi, quit chat for a chat?
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Yeah, exactly exactly.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
I was speaking of. I am in my reality TV
prime right now. So, okay, Love Island USA is on.
Love Island UK is on and it is so good.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Okay, why are you watching this?
Speaker 1 (40:58):
USA is on Peacock. It's fine, but it's an I
can'tnot watch it. Uh U s a u K is
on Hulu.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
Okay, I need to start watching Ethic. I'm gonna get
into it.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
They're just so there. It's just so much better than us.
I'm sorry. They're so funny, They're so this One girl
is like my big dream was to move to l
a and become a playboy bunny and then Hugh hath
No died, Livid died.
Speaker 2 (41:27):
That's lived.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
All right.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
I need to start watching it so that I can bring.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
Up so good and then I'm also watching the Real
Housewives of Salt Lake City. I started it from the beginning.
I'm on season.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
On him. Mary how Good is married.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
Oh my god, she's.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
She's she's got your alter. She just stays at people,
she just says people.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
But I do love how direct she is. She'll be like,
m that's ugly.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
She's so funny. She's the funniest.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
Oh you guys are going out to dinner. Okay, I'm
going to go to McDonald's.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
Yeah, she's like, I'm not doing that. She's just honestly.
I love Larry.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
I love.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Not alter ego, but like I need to be a
bit more, like I need to care a loss.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
People think I'm far too accommodating and.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Like a husband's like one hundred years old.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
And she just loved it was.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
Very her grandmother's great television. It's great that and the
real Households of Rhode Island. Yes, okay, so I'm really
into all these things. I don't know why I brought
this up. Oh, because we're talking about the footy. Uh great,
good luck, thank you. I too consume English content.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
Okay, thank you. Of a different sport. Different different sport
for sure, different spool.
Speaker 3 (42:47):
Okay, I'm gonna start watching that because I want to
get smell snippets so I can drop them in.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
Okay, big shout out to the U.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
S g A.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
They did a really nice article about us. Oh yes
they did. It's called the pod Couple, which I thought
was a very clever name, and they sent at the
same time. It was a kind of a funny day.
They sent photographers to our house houses separately, yours in
Denver and Mining, California, at the same time, so that
(43:15):
they could coordinate their shots for the photos to be
as similar as possible. They know that we were record remotely,
so they were trying to just get the same look
so that they could put them side by side, side
by side and it would look the same. So the
photographers had to be like on the phone talking about
how they were setting up the lighting and where we
were sitting in the angle, and sending each other pictures
(43:36):
of the whole setup. So that was I've never done
a photo shoot like that. That was pretty funny.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
That was cool. And then I said to it, I
have to change and you were like, yes, you need
to go. You need to put something nicer on. So okay, well,
because then they wanted a whole lifestyle she wanted.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
A lifestyle photo of us, and I said that, yeah,
you should go and put not sweatpants by a place
hat on.
Speaker 2 (44:00):

Speaker 3 (44:07):

So thank you very much for giving the Pods some love.
Speaker 1 (44:11):
Yeah. And it was in the same magazine as Scottish
Shufflers on the cover, which why are we not on
the car?
Speaker 3 (44:19):
I know, I know.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
It was kind of like, I know he's going for
the career Grand Slam, but people really want to see
us exactly.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
People only care what we have to say?
Speaker 1 (44:29):
Are agreed? Are Yeah? Do you have anything else? Do
I have anything else?
Speaker 2 (44:35):
No, I'm gonna go and get my food in a bit.
Don't want the shush of the week. Do you want
to week? I've got a good one for you.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
It's it's gross perfect. Okay. So wake up this morning and.
Speaker 3 (44:49):
Before leaving the I thought, why does my second toe
that's really weird, and I noticed that my tener had gone.
So I don't know what happened. I don't know if
I got it from the nine and stubbed it, but
I feel like I know that it's just gone. It's
yeah there, it's hung on. I need to rip it
off because it's it's hurt me, like it's bothered. It
(45:10):
bothered me today. But I don't know what happened. It
was there when I went to bed, and now it's gone.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
Maybe it died, it didn't die.
Speaker 3 (45:17):
It was my it was one of my it was
one of my thriving ones, which one of you. Yeah,
it was one of my best.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
It was actually my best totel And now she's gone, So.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
I don't know what happened. Like it's completely ripped off,
so I don't know if I got it.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
I don't know. It was definitely there when I went
to bed.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
I'm sorry, that's horrible, and you have to do on course.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
This week, I know, but I've got some like padding
stuff for like I always.
Speaker 1 (45:41):
When Rory had mentioned Rory at.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
All, oh just yeah, he's going to do well, but
I don't know he's going to do great.
Speaker 1 (45:50):
Sorry, So yeah, okay, well like that whole toe situation
AEP weeks ago, a month ago, whatever.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
It was, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, So I basically
just he must have just got that j John to
me because yeah, no idea this morning when I was
trying to get ready for the airport.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
Nice going anyway, Sorry, thank you. What's she shoh of
the week?
Speaker 1 (46:13):
My shosh of the week is line culture. I've been
thinking about this for a couple of weeks, so when
I was in New York City, whenever it was two
weeks ago there. If you drive, when you're driving around
the city, there's all these places, especially in the West
Village or so Ho, that have lines. People are standing
outside waiting to get a specific bagel or a specific coffee,
or to go into a store. And these places are like,
(46:36):
not that great, they're just glorified on Instagram. So people
will wait in the pouring rain, in the hot sun
for thirty minutes to an hour for a bagel that
you could just walk down the street and get a
much better one. And I uh, I just think it's
insane that people wait in lines for this.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
That's fair enough. I actually thought you said lion at
the start, so I was prett intrigued by that is going.
But now I know you said.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Line line culture. Being willing to wait in line. Yeah yeah.
But on the other hand, if you want to be
on Instagram, GIRLI and take a picture of your Leon's
bagel then like, who am I to stop you? Like,
but I just I just think it's wild.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Yeah, I know, I'm with you.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
We actually had a similar thing in Jackson just before
we left the new coffee shop open, and it was
like the big thing the line I say, Cardio cons coffee.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
So I will say this is me talking out of
both sides of my mouth. There's a French bakery in
San Francisco called Arci Coo that does incredible, incredible croissants,
pastry and the best, the best baked goods I have
ever had outside of France, and I have waited in
that line.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
That's it was.
Speaker 1 (47:54):
It was freaking worth it.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
Yeah, like different, The.
Speaker 1 (47:57):
Ham and cheese cissant was still warm, the all matrisant
was still It was incredible. I know you're trying to
go get your food. So no, no, no, anyway, line culture,
that's my shush weird.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
That was good.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Yeah, I I though, but I guess sometimes appropriate. Okay. Anyway,
I hope you all enjoy the US Open. We will
be back next week to break it all down. But
we're in for quite the week at Shinaclock Kills.

Yeah, and we'll we celebrate and tell me for you
it's a major.
