the show filling in for our very own mill who
is you know, off taking care of her new baby,
which is understandable, but Claire has very generously decided to
step in and bring her spirit and energy to co
(00:45):
host the show today.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Claire, thank you for having me.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
When you texted me, I was very excited because I
came on this podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
I think it was.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Mel and I were at US Women's Open last year.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Where were we? Is that right?
Speaker 5 (00:58):
That sounds right? I think it was. It wasn't riv
was it? No?
Speaker 3 (01:05):
We were at were at Aaron Hills.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
I don't know, but I just remember the last really
white tent.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
And we were both sitting in there and we had
to share headphones and it was I looked like the
lighting wasn't great. We were backlit, but we got through.
So I was very excited to kind of redeem myself.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Okay, great, Yeah, you could control your lighting set up
a little bit better.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
It's very important, I think it's supposed to do. Where
are you in the world.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
I'm in Rhode Island.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
I've kind of just been hanging out here for most
of the summer because I have so many cousins who
we like go to the beach on the weekends hang out,
and I'm not I haven't been traveling. I think was
at the three m and then the next thing I'm
going to is the FM Championship in Boston, so oh nice.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I know.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
I'm in Tahoe, Oh amazing, which is like three and
a half hours from my house.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Okay, but we do a.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
Lot of family time up here, so basically home.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Yeah, that's great.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
As a quick aside, do you watch The Real Housewives
of Rhode Island?
Speaker 4 (02:12):
No, but my dad and my stepmom are upsess like
obsessed with it, And do you watch it?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Well, because I really loved Ashley I from The Bachelor,
like okay, however long ago, and then she was on
the show, so I was like, well, I have to
watch Ashley I at the show and it's wild.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
I didn't know that Rhode Island could be that way.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
I didn't either.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
It's a very like specific so where I get my
spray tands before big events is like where those women
are from. Now, it's the same town, so I knew, like,
you know, there's some good stuff going on there.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
But my dad.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Like like worked with one of the friends on the
show or something like a girl who's like a woman
who's like a care friend thousand and out.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, but they're obsessed with.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
It, Like they had to like change their subscription and
like TV subscriptions so that they didn't have to wait
twenty four hours to watch it, like my current watching.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Premium Gold Diamond de Luxe Plus exactly exactly.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
But people are loving it and it's put Rhode Island
on the map a little bit. I guess like me
and Brad Faxon, we weren't doing it.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
They had to.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Run in the golf world.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
You gouts had done your part, but exactly larger pop
culture maybe you know exactly. I've only been to Rhode
Island once to visit a friend, but like it's so gorgeous.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
It's the best.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
It's everything that I think in East Coast summer should be.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Yeah, it's that's like why I'm here in the summer
and then in the winter and back on the road
and it's perfect.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
So yeah, yeah, exactly, can you tell us about your
whole new world?
Speaker 5 (03:46):
So last time you were here, you were working for
golf dot com. Yes, you're hosting a scoop.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
You're doing all these things, and now your life has
dramatically changed.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Yes, took a new job. My when did I switch?
Speaker 4 (03:58):
The first The day of the US Open was my
first day, so there wasn't like really like a proper
onboarding thing.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
It was kind of like, hey, are you going to
be at the US Open?
Speaker 5 (04:10):
But tell us what it is?
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yes, scratch.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
So I am a lifestyle in culture.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
Content person, person, creator.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Creator, that's the word I'm looking for. Thank you just
got my business cards? Like last week, I'm like, okay,
I got to give you a business card. It's so
official official, I know if I'll give you I wouldn't
love it, like has.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
My cell phone number on it, which you already have.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
Just a cakes find myself somewhere exactly.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
But my first day was the Monday of the US
Open and I was planning. I was in Charleston and
then I was planning to go right to the US Open,
but I get a text from j D at the
LPGA and he's like, do you want to spend the
day with Nelly tomorrow before she's for media tour, Like
you can hang out while she's getting ready in the
hotel room. And I was like, yeah, So my first project,
(05:03):
like seven thirty to nine thirty hanging out with Nelly
Cordo while Nike's in there her outfits, hair makeup.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
It was so much fun.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Yeah, And I've been there, what is it now, two
months almost? So it's been great. It's been really fun.
What I love about the golf world, and you can
probably relate to this, is like it's so small. So
I've like see my old coworkers who I adore, like
two or three times saw them. They're at the Open
Championship and three am, like everybody's around.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
So yeah, there's no like see you ever exactly exactly.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
So what's your main like, what does that mean obviously
besides getting to see Nelly cornyh Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
It's a lot more video content forward, I would say.
So we're putting together a lot of franchises, which is great.
The ice cream interviews will be continuing which is great.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
We did one with Garret Cago.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
It was called The Insie I'd scoop so and then
I'll be in Florida for the whole winter for TGL,
so hoping like we can do a bunch of interviews,
you know while I'm down there, because so many players
are local, and then players are coming in for the
matches and stuff, so a lot of that, and then
like kind.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Of trial and error with some other stuff.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
I walked nine Holes with a family friend at the
three M and we turned that into content, which was fun.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
So just it's fun to.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Just try new things, I guess, you know, like just
a lot of like the same themes but just kind
of a different production and everything.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
So it's been good.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
And you're also doing TGL like the normal role that
you've been doing for the last couple of years.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yes, so this will be the third season of it.
I was the digital I've been the digital host the.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Last two years.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
When I first started, I was like I got a channel,
my Cure Dixon and my Amanda Balionees and like ask
theright questions. And I think I asked you, like, I
was like, what do you do when you get so
nervous because I'm freaking ow it.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
That's how it is.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
There's just nothing to be done.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
I was like, Okay, well, I guess that's so now.
But now that the women's one is coming, they're still
kind of putting everything together for that. So I have
a meeting with them later this week just to talk
about what that could look like, but hoping.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
It's a lot of the same stuff because it's been fun.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
Yeah, so life is good. I'm killing it.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
It is.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
It's been like I said, like, I'm in kind of
like a slower travel season right now, which I kind
of love. I don't know if you get this, but
I'll be like when I'm on the road, I'm like
I've been on the road a while, Like I got
to get home, and then I get and after like
three days.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
At home, I'm like, you know what, I think, I'm
kind of ready to like get back.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
Yeah, we're sick.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
Yeah, no, it's crazy, but that's where But I'm like, really,
this time of year is good to enjoy it, right,
Like the weather's great and like being home is good.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
So yeah, no, I uh, I'm actually have been quite
happy to be home because yeah, I've got my you know,
pending child right.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
A thing. So I was in Stanford last was it
last week?
Speaker 2 (08:15):
I don't know recently, like in the last ten days
for Golf Channel, and it was really great to be
back working in that environment and hosting and I obviously
love that, but I was ready to come home just
because I was just so physically deeply uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
I can't even imagine what a toll it takes on,
like because like.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
I'm a baby, right like, I'm like, I'm tired, I'm hot,
Like you are growing another human.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
I'm like that like makes it thirty times harder.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
And where were we?
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Was it at Shinnecock And I was like oh and
you were like oh yeah, like I'm staying close by
And I was like thank gosh, because the rest of
us have like an hour like in a claustrophobic van
that no I break out on and you I would
not wish that, like on my worst enemy if they
were pregnant, that they would have to.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
Be on mad Well. That was the plan.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
And I took matters into my own hands and used
my free will to find a place that was walking
distance from the course, and you use my own money
to make.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
That happen, and I was just just.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Like, I can't, Yeah, I can't do it, Like I'm not.
Yeah at this point, you know, you just have to
make certain choices that make to a little bit easier
if you can. My last event is BMW next week,
and it's like a legit, you know, Monday to Monday
Reporter Week, which I haven't done in a while. This year,
(09:40):
I've kind of broken up my schedule with more. I
had Olympics in the beginning of the year, and I've
done a lot more hosting and like three days here,
four days there. So it's not that usual grind that
I've done the last five years, which has been great.
But I do have this this week and it'll be wonderful.
But I'm going to be thirty two weeks pregnant in
(10:04):
Saint Louis.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
That's gonna be hot.
Speaker 5 (10:07):
It's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Hot, and you know we work all day, Like, yeah,
don't you just grind? So I don't know, I'm just
gonna I have to like have a positive perspective about it,
so otherwise I'm just gonna be so miserable.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
Fine, it's fine.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
You're gonna be great.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
And the thing is like you'll be on I'll see
you on TV and your Instagram stories and I'll be like,
oh my god, she looks perfect, like she's having the
time of her life. You don't even know that she's that.
It's one hundred degrees and she's thirty whatever.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Weeks, right, But the people who listen to the show
know that on the inside, I'm dying.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
I'll be thinking of you.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
But thankfully the camera angles only from like chest up,
so perfect you people won't be seeing like all the struggle.
Speaker 5 (10:51):
That's just doubt.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Oh my gosh, it's fine, it's great. Shall we dive
into what's been happening in Gulf Land.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Yeah, for the.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Last week, I'm obsessed with astrisk to tally, just wanted
to throw that out there.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
Let's start with astrisk, tell us, tell us more.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
So, I was thinking about this yesterday August National Woman's
Amateur four months ago. The last couple of years, they're saying,
you know, she's gonna win this, she's so good. She
goes into the final round right there and didn't have
a good day, and it was like so heartbroken, heartbreaking.
She talked to the media very very teary, and it
(11:41):
was just hard to watch right, like she's so young
and it's hard to start. Yeah, exactly, and so it
was so fun yesterday to see the opposite of that happen.
But she was also so like gracious in defeat in April,
and then yesterday was just amazing and she was saying
like this was the one on her list that she wanted.
So I don't know, and I kept thinking, obviously it's summer,
(12:02):
but imagine going back to school, like high school after
winning an event like that, Like she's just so cool.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
I don't know the thing good thing. Kids these days
just don't care at all.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah, yeah, I like, do you want to golf through?
Speaker 5 (12:17):
Cool? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:18):
It's crazy.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
And I think maybe because I'm not from a state
where so many kids like it's you know, we're up
in New England, like there weren't really many golfers. In
my head, I'm like, that is the coolest thing. When
I interviewed Michelle Wee, I was like, were people in
your high school like, oh my god, you're so good?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
And she's like Claire, no one cared.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
I's like, oh, Obama went to my high school.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
I was like, I thought it was amazing. Yeah, she
was like, no, they thought golf was weird. I was like, oh, so,
I don't know. I felt cool about that, and just
like so many teenagers like made it into the early
eight and everything. So I don't know, I feel like
the future of the woman's game is just in very
good hands.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Yeah, she's going to be so Asterisk. It's going to
be going to Stanford next year, I believe. So she's
already starting her college golf career soon, which is interesting
because I feel like in the past, somebody like Asterisk
might have just decided to turn pro. But because of Nil,
she's got so many opportunities, Like why would she not
(13:18):
go and enjoy her She's Stanford life. She can make
all the same money she would have made, exact, I
don't have to worry about the trials and tribulations of
professional golf.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
Yeah, that's why I think it's like for women's golf especially,
it is kind of cool because I don't know, I
love college golf. I love the amateur game. I think
the Stanford program is so cool, Like, yeah, they're just
all so good. So I think I'm like jealous, Like,
good for you. You get to go experience that, and
you probably really want to as opposed to now it's like, oh,
which one do I do or how I used to be?
Speaker 3 (13:48):
I guess, so that'll be great.
Speaker 5 (13:50):
Did you ever think about playing college golf?
Speaker 3 (13:53):
H If I had been like good, I'm like, like,
in my.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
You could have played for like three school like maybe,
but like I went to So I went to Villanova
for a year.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
They didn't even have a women's golf team.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
And then I went to BC and the girls are
shooting like seventy three, and I'm like, okay, I'm like
shooting ninety nine, so this will not be happening.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
But I love like I was involved.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
With Like my brother and my cousins were on the
club team, so I would like go hang out with
them and stuff and like practice with them.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
But no, no, but I would I love too. Had
I been good, I.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
Think that I could have played college golf.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
I know I could have played college golf, and I
didn't do it because I thought it was stupid and
I wanted to have a traditional college experience, which.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
Is so dumb.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
And I've covered the NCAA is a bunch over the years,
and I see the way that these girls are together
and their team and how supportive they are and how
much fun they're having and I'm so jealous me too.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
It's so cool.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
Well, it's harder because like you could have like there
was never a world in which that would have happened
for me.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
Maybe I'm just gassing myself up.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
I don't know, but I just I know that I
feel like I could have found a total room.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
I don't know that it would have been Stanford, but
it would have been something.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah. We went to the St.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
Andrews with the Notre Dame team when they did like
the first intercollegiate thing at the old Course and we
uh when I was like off dot com, like spent
the week with the women's team, mikeworker Emma and I and.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
I was like, they are so cool.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Yeah, they're so good, Like megagone be my best friend.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
I'm like like their Instagram stories they're like nineteen years
old and I'm like crushing it.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Amazing, You're the coolest.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
You're you amazing sweetie. So all that to say, we're
really happy for you. Astris Tally, who searge pasted Anna
Iwanaga of Japan for an eight and sixth victory to
win the US Vin's Canada at the Honors course in
Tennessee and yeah, I'm excited to see what Astris continues
(15:56):
to do next.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
Did you see the social clip of that like twenty
year old named Pinky who Oh, this was like my
favorite piece.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
I'll send it to you.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
She was in match place, so they had every shot
from around but they were like, she like looks at
the camera after every single.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Shot, which I'm like, that's what I would have loved that.
And so she's walking and she'll be like it is
so amazing.
Speaker 5 (16:20):
I love when they're very aware of the camera.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
So when I was covering curling, it was the it
was the Olympic Trials, so not at the Olympics, but
it was in November of last year, like in South
Dakota or something like that, and one of the one
of the teams of the girls that were trying to
make the Olympic or trying to qualify as the Olympic
team for curling. They were so aware of the camera
(16:47):
every time that they shot a show, and they would
then look at the camera and do like crazy eyes.
It was so funny because they're not used to being
camera so they love it. They think it's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Oh my gosh. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
I love when people do that because it just breaks
the fourth wall and it's exactly.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
You know, it's cool. Yeah, look at this crazy thing
that I'm doing, right, Pinky.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Yeah, Well she has a very long name, and that
was that's her nickname.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
This is Yeah, she looks up the camera after every shot.
Oh and then you can swipe through and it's.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Just oh my god. Yeah, speaking I love it. That's amazing.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Okay, Well, congratulations Asterisk, best wishes on your future.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
I'm sure we will see you. I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Like the one thing that she has left that she
wants to win is Annwa and I don't think she's
turning pro anytime soon, so I'm sure she will be there.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
In April, yes, which doesn't see far away.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
I know. It's crazy. We start we got to start
organizing our outfits, Kira.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
Literally, I'm like, I don't even know what I'm going
to look like though.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
That's a whole Yeah, that's a whole thing I gotta
figure out. Although I do have a ton of outfits
that I had prepared for this time around at the
Masters that never saw the light of day because I
started planning them before I was pregnant.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Oh, and then.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
I was trying to be on the DL in Augusta
and not you know, and it was there were some
things that I was like, oh no, this is okay,
this is my last year or.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Next year you can wear them?
Speaker 2 (18:25):
Yeah, perfect, Yeah, yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
So it was an interesting week in golf. It was
the last regular season PGA Tour event of the year.
Michael Brennan wins the Windham Championship. Michael Brennan is a
sweet little baby angel. He's twenty four years old. We've
have this youth movement recently on the PGA Tour. You
have like the Jackson Coven's of the world that are
(18:51):
winning and someone who else won recently those super young.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
I don't know, somebody else.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
And then Michael Brannan Melan, I like, what else's happened
to go to the PGA Tour. Ok. But I'm very
excited for him because he's a really nice, nice kid
and he kind of burst onto the scene and he.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Won it in Utah in the fall right too.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
Yes, in like his one of his first starts. Yeah,
tour pro Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
I just I loved the clip of his mom like
we were going to the Masters it's so cute.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
And I was just looking at him. He won eight
times when he was at wake Forest.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
Just crazy. But yeah, I just thought, like, I love.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
My favorite thing to see is like on social the
like family videos after I think it's see so it
was super exciting.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
But yeah, twenty four, I'm like, oh, born in two
thousand and two.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Great, cool, cool, cool. I know.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
I love when they're excited. I or at least their
family is excited. Yeah, because when they win and they're
just like, oh whatever.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
I've done this ten times.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
Yeah, we're doing yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
No, it's massive. It's so exciting.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
It's crazy. I hung out with him, not hung out.
I saw him at the gym.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
In Mexico last year in the fall, and I was like, so,
what do you do for fun and outside of golf,
because you know, we try to like learn things about
these people that are the birdies and bookies. And apparently
he's really obsessed with tennis. Oh yeah, you play tennis,
don't you. Uh no, Well, were you like taking lessons
(20:34):
or something? I was. I was for a little bit,
and then I kind of gave up because of travel whatever.
It's hard, but I have decided that tennis is going
to be my post partum activity. Fun amazing because there's
a tennis court right on the corner of my block
and I can.
Speaker 5 (20:52):
Like have an instructor come there.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
But I feel like tennis is a good way to
do good exercise and totally of have something of my own.
I need something not golf related because golf there's always
an element of work associated with golf, So I need
like a not golf activity that's perfect. But really, apparently
Michael Brennan too, it eats.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
A part of that.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
I feel like a lot of these guys play tennis.
Am I making that up?
Speaker 5 (21:22):
No, they're all obsessive tennis tennis.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
Mohammed from the like works for the tour, will like
sometimes play with some of the guys on the road.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
That's funny, yeah, because it's just again like you can
pretty much if there's a golf course, you good chance
there's also a tennis court there.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
So cool. I didn't know that. I know, and he
played basketball in high school. I saw basketball and golf.
Speaker 5 (21:47):
Yeah. Oh, a multi sport athlete.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Michelle has taken up tennis, and she says that the
hardest thing for her is after she hits a ball.
She poses like holds her follow through, waiting for applause,
but the ball is already on her on its way back.
She's like, ohh I gotta like I can't just be.
Speaker 5 (22:12):
I follow through.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
My little sister's gonna be a freshman in high school
and they make you play a sport.
Speaker 5 (22:17):
Your little sister.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Yeah, I know, she's so old. It's like messed up.
I know, so, but she is playing tennis.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
So she's been doing lessons all summer, and she rowed
the last fall for school.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
And what she loves like, rowed a boat. Yeah, like
the crew team.
Speaker 5 (22:35):
Oh okay, okay, yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
And the year before she had done cross country and
she was like, I love rowing because you get to
sit the whole time. And now I'm like, man, it's
like you don't get to sit in tennis. And she's like,
oh but it's quick, and I'm like, I don't know
how quick it is, but.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
It takes forever. Tennis takes four ever.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
So we'll see how it goes. But she's excited, so
we'll see.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
Cute. Yeah, are you a tennant at all?
Speaker 3 (23:01):
I grew up.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
I probably did lessons for like two summers and then
at the golf course we played at growing up, they
had tennis courts and like every like from like five
or six every night when I was like a teenager,
we would go hip balls, but it was very much
not organized tennis like it was like the pools on
the other side.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
We'd like purposely hit it into the pool, but we
would volley a lot, which.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
I think is very fun, but it's tiring, Like you
play for like twenty minutes and be like, I think
we're good here, good.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Yeah, which is why I think it'll be It'll be
the oh, it'll be great, good exercise for me.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
So that it's a sport that like golf the pro
it looks very easy when you watch the pros do it,
and then you go and you're like, oh, oh.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Actually this is really hard and I'm having a I
thank you.
Speaker 5 (23:52):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
So we'll see how that goes. I'll report back, okay,
But very happy for Michael Brandon now with the playoffs
and his Pattie Alie Brett is really good friends with
mel They're like bessies. And he he was on Rosang's bag. Yeah,
got hired away to Michael Brennan's bag. And but prior
to Rose's bag, I believe he was on Daniel Kang's bag,
(24:14):
so he was like a long time LPGA caddy.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
Yeah yeah, because I saw Hi.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
Up the Masters and I was like, wait a minute,
I know him, but yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
So yeah, I don't know how that Michael Brennan thing
came about. We'll have to I have to have him on.
He's been on once before. Oh really yeah yeah, it's
filling in for me with mel but now that he's
a big PGA tour winner.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
You have to go through his agent and everything.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Yeah. I know. Well his agent I think is just
Mel so is basically now it's gonna be fine. Anything
else on that.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
I don't think.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
So do you care about congratulations once again Michael Brennan, Yes.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Yes, thoughts and prayers, best wishes. Did you see all
the Trump yaser content at the live event?
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Yeah? I did see that.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
I was confused, what are we too?
Speaker 4 (25:12):
Well, I was, yeah, they were like, wait, yasters here
and so, but isn't he like he's not he's no
longer involved or no longer going to be involved, right,
so he just came to hang out.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
I guess I don't know.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
I mean I think that he still financially has the
right to show up if he wants.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
Yeah, that's very fair.
Speaker 5 (25:32):
What am I going to do say now?
Speaker 4 (25:33):
Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (25:36):
And I did you see that?
Speaker 4 (25:37):
They were like, oh, play was paused because Trump was
like leaving or something.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Yeah, like, oh, I'm trying to play through eighteen and
oh okay, sorry, there's like Air Force one trying to
or whatever.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
Marine one.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
We won that event Nieman, which I did know, but
I did see that.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
I saw the clip of like he was given a
gift from Trump.
Speaker 5 (26:01):
I don't know what.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yeah, he gave him some gold thing that had the
presidential seal or something on it.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
Oh okay, I'm not sure.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Nice, that's a good choke, I guess.
Speaker 5 (26:16):
Crazy. Golf is such a funny land.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
It really is.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
And it's funny this time of year when there's so
many events going on, different tours, amateur pros, because I
like I have I feel like we'll have like a
coworker at a friend at all different events as the
week goes on or the gis go on, and then
people are kind of reporting back like oh I'm at this,
I'm at this, or even on Twitter, like media people
that you know and I'm like, we are covering such
(26:42):
different parts of the game right now.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, have you been to a little bit.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
I went to the Boston one.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
Okay, when it was at it's called the International, It's
like thirty five minutes from Boston. I had no idea
what to expect because that was twenty twenty two, the
fall of twenty two, so it was early.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
Something that did surprise me. This is like the biggest
thing that sticks out to me. First of all, there
were a ton of people there. I remember Patrick Greed
got somebody kicked out on the first tea.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
Nice class.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
I think they had.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Influencers inside the ropes like during play, which I was like,
oh interesting, what about like the tour sometimes has like
athletes and stuff. But they were like had like like
wine glasses with them inside, and I was like, I
have never seen this before where like they're drinking inside
the ropes during tournament play, and I just thought and
they were like it wasn't like a plastic cup, like
(27:38):
it was a proper wine glass, and that kind of
stuck out to me as something.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
I was like, this is very different.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
I don't think I like wrote that up in my recap.
But that stuck out to me.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
For sure, you know, golf but louder.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
Yeah, yeah, they had someone came in on a parachute.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
I have like what I feel like as I'm explaining this,
it sounds like a fever dream. Yeah yeah, but yeah,
I had never been to that course before.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
It was pretty cool actually, but I've not been to
a love event and I'm curious to see.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
What happens next to them. But it's I know, it's
great for the Twitter people of.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
The world, the gift that keeps on giving.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Speaking of the your Twitter land or your excelland how
how's life on social media these days? It's like really scary,
Like we were I stopped using Twitter or X.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
What's the thing you guys do at the end of
the week.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Yeah, and that's something you're kind of out on, right
or no.
Speaker 5 (28:39):
I'm out on social media.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Shush in general?
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
The concept is like this is my thing that I'm
like mad about or out on or.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
So I was going to wait until that, but I'm
not now.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Okay, So I'm out on golf Twitter like well, I know,
like he's a sample. Okay, here's the thing though, Like
I'm still gonna return to it. It's like a toxic relationship.
But how come every time I post a video of
me explaining some cool information about golf that other people
(29:13):
might not know, Like, let's share a story here, every
comment she's not hot? Why is she able to work
in golf? How is she on camera every day and
doesn't hit the gym? I'm like, you guys are mean,
like every comment, and I'm like, this is so weird.
You guys are weird people. Every comment is and it's
not just me. I see, like you open and it's
maybe now like my algorithm, but like every comment is
(29:36):
about somebody's appearance and it's so weird and rude and like,
I like, usually don't let it get to me. But
I found like for the two days after that, I
was like in my head about like, wait, am I
doing something wrong?
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Is this do I dress?
Speaker 2 (29:49):
Like?
Speaker 3 (29:50):
What's you know? I don't know. I just don't like it.
That's my official like just out on it.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
I think that's her shh.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I I shushed Twitter specifically long ago because because of
stuff like that, I just felt like every single thing
I was posting, I wasn't getting fun engagement, like it was.
Speaker 5 (30:12):
No longer fun.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
It was bots or weird people or just really super
inappropriate comments, and I found it to be specific to
that platform. On Instagram, I still I love my little
Instagram life. I've got my friends women over there.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
Yeah, they're so nice on Instagram and TikTok.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Yeah yeah, because you have to have like a real
profile for the most part.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Yes, yes, so I just I very much have just
shifted fully there and even there, like I used to
do a ton more.
Speaker 5 (30:49):
Talking to care I.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Don't know, I've kind of life does its thing totally.
It's just not like my number one priority right now.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
But like the Twitter verse of all the golf ros is,
we're thinking good, We're good for it.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Yeah We're Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
It's and again like it's weird when your job like
mine is like to do content and I love doing it.
I like the process of Like today I'm research I've
been researching, and I feel like I'm like back in
high school doing a research project on the US Women's
Amateur Trophy. Like has this awesome story. I've like been
writing this script all this stuff, and I'm so excited
(31:27):
to film this and like share the story. And I'm like, yes,
it's going to go on Twitter, but the comments are
going to be what I'm wearing, my skin, if I
have too much makeup on, and if I don't have enough,
if I did my hair, if I didn't do my hair,
like it's just weird.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
So well, maybe maybe you can when it comes to
posting that content, just let a colleague put it up. Yeah,
and then just don't go away, Just don't look at
the comments.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Yeah, that's the thing I need to do, is like
not love Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (31:56):
And then and then you can maintain your.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Witty yeah presents separately exactly so because people still respond
well to to that stuff or is it all that
stuff as well?
Speaker 4 (32:09):
I did one last week on let me see whoever
posted these mean comments. It's gonna be like, yeah, now
I'm in her head.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Let me see what was the last one?
Speaker 4 (32:18):
Oh, the us Amateur Amateur as people say, like the
groupings that the USGA did that were so fun. They
did a lot of like you know, they'll like put
specific names together and there'll be themes and just a
lot of the comments were not very nice.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
So again it was just like a fun, lighthearted video.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
Cool.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
Then like my my brother on his burner is like like, no, no, no,
dial it back.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Now, you're being mean. Your brother has a burner, which
I didn't even know.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
And he's like, I sometimes like make fun of you
when I'm mad at you on it, but he's like.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
It's never too mean. And then but then I'll like
just be like crashing.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
Out in the sibling group tapping like wait do I
actually look like and they're.
Speaker 3 (32:59):
Like, you're good like and then he'll like come to
my den. So yeah, he's he's a good brother.
Speaker 5 (33:04):
That's sweet. That's sweet. I love that.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Oh oh, I think some of the best advice I
ever got.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
Do you know Nathan Hubbard? He's Mark Hubbard, Yes, brother.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Incredible sibling duo there by the.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Way, Oh my god. Okay, So Nathan Hubbard hosts a
golf podcast for The Ringer Fairway Roland. He hosts on
on the Ringer and then he also hosts a it's
called Every Single Album and they do this is completely
separate with a girl called Nora Princiotti and they break
down like every single album of Taylor Swift, every single
(33:42):
album with Miley Cyrus's or whatever, and they and he
is a music expert because he played in a band
and then started a record label and then now has
this crazy business where he supports artists monetizing their stardom
beyond music.
Speaker 5 (33:59):
So all that's say.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
He also was one of the first employees at Twitter,
and like stub Hub or ticket mastery, one of those.
The guy knows what he was talking about, especially when
it comes to Twitter specifically because he helped build a
lot of their community guidelines back in the day, which
don't exist anymore. But one time, I had this guy
trolling me and it was saying really mean stuff, and I,
(34:24):
for the most part, am pretty disciplined in my responses
or just not at all, but it was so messed
up and I just felt so attacked for like personally attacked,
not my appearance or anything.
Speaker 5 (34:36):
It was about like my character or whatever.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
And I responded and it just turned into this ugly
you know, this guy was probably screenshotting my responses and
making his profile picture like it. Was so happy to
have that engagement. And Nathan, who had nothing to do
with any of that, DMed me. This is how I
met him, no way, because he just happened to be
following me on Twitter because of golf and so he
(34:59):
saw I was seeing all this and he DM me
and he was like, hey, just so you know, I
like I've seen all of this. The worst thing you
can ever possibly do with these people is respond and
feed into anything. So just keep it as a guideline
for the future. But they just live for this.
Speaker 3 (35:18):
This is this is like every name and no photo.
It's bad.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
Yeah yeah, user one, two, seven five whatever. So Ever,
since that kind of it like leveled me out and
I don't engage anymore. Every once in a while on Instagram,
I'll if there's I love when somebody comments and man's
plains something and it's like.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
This is in your entire life's work, and then you
as if you don't know every single player.
Speaker 5 (35:45):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Like the other day I had somebody that was like,
as a longtime reporter, I just wanted to point out
this thing that I saw you do on Golf Central
at minute thirty six on this episode.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
Oh my gosh, I had one of the US the
US Open.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
We did like a like a thing with fans. It
was very unseerious. It was just supposed to be kind
of fun and.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
Some woman comments hot take literally anyone but Claire Rogers, like, Okay,
I go to the likes like my cousins are in there,
my brother's in there. But then like we just we
realized like that was her business page and she's a
realtor in Tampa and so then like all love that
(36:34):
like stirred the pot a little bit, like people are
commenting on her stuff like not a good realtor, like
really did not treat me with respect, And I'm like, guys,
let's just but this is the problem where I have
like so many cousins but not a problem like I
have a lot of people have my back, but I'm like,
there's a can of worms you're opening if you go
after me.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
And that's okay if you're still gonna.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
Do it, but just know, like like she had to
like restrict comments on stuff because my cousins were like,
all right.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
So if you can't take it, you shouldn't dish it.
Exactly women do Patricia.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
Okay, Yeah, when women do it, I'm like, you should
know how hard it is to whatever.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
Man, it's a good lesson. Nathan Hubbard, Yes.
Speaker 5 (37:15):
Thank you it. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
So I will co sign your shish of the week
and have it be for you know, yours is obviously
more Twitter based and all these stupid jerks. Mine is
the man splainers in my d MS that while I think,
well meaning, sure, did you answer no, no, not.
Speaker 5 (37:40):
To him, but every once in a while.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
I just I'll like respond like it actually was this
or actually, sir, that's not matchplay format, or you know
this is what this really is?
Speaker 5 (37:56):
Uh that's just yeah, that's hilariou so it's I don't know.
And then friends, it's part of it's part of our world.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
Yes, AnyWho, So the US Amateurs this week and Marion.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
I've never been to Marian So when I went to Vilenova,
I would go for like a run and this was
like I was obsessed with golf.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
So I'd run to Marion and oh.
Speaker 5 (38:30):
My god, you're such a nerd, I literally.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
Like and they had just had the US Open there
that year rose yes, so like literally I was so
creepy and I'd like go there, walk around a little bit,
and run home. So, no, I haven't stepped foot on property,
but I've been adjacent to do you've been.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
Were you there for the Curtis Cup or what?
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Yes, I was there for the Curtist Cup. This is
when I was still working for the USGA a lot. Okay,
do you remember I used to do all their digital
stuff back then.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Yeah, Like you would wear all their They had like
the Tide Ice golf shirt.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
I had it and I was like, I need that.
Speaker 5 (39:08):
Yeah, I still have that one.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
I've gone to rid of a lot of that stuff,
but I kept the Tide Eye one.
Speaker 5 (39:12):
I thought that one was so good. It was cool. Yes,
So I was there for the Curtis Cup. I remember.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
I think this is a formative memory for me and
golf because Megagane was on that team, and this was
when they were like very much like they were in
high school.
Speaker 5 (39:27):
They're so young, and I.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Just was like, ay, I just like hanging with all
these girls, and I thought I was so cute cool
with that.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Oh my gosh, what year was that. That wasn't not
long ago? Well she just graduated Stanford, so I didn't know.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
At least five or six years ago.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
Yeah, yeah, which.
Speaker 5 (39:45):
Is why I love it.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
It's so beautiful and we had the course completely to ourselves.
So at sunset we would just go out and I would,
you know, to the content boys, I'd be like, can
you take my picture?
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Yeah? Of course? Oh my gosh.
Speaker 4 (39:59):
That's what I love about amateur events too, is the
lack of ropes, to be inside and outside the ropes,
Like you're walking on the fairway with these players.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
It's so cool.
Speaker 4 (40:10):
You feel like you're just part of it in a
way that like there's obviously has to be a big
separation when you're at a tour event.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
So I always say, it's giving legend of Bagrivants. Yes, exactly,
it's legend of bagadvance vibes. I am Charlie's we are
walking in the fairway. Where's Will Smith? Yes, yeah, that's
my That's my favorite golf movie of all time.
Speaker 4 (40:31):
Really, Yeah, I don't know what mine is. I've only
seen Caddyshack like ones. It's not horrible.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
I've seen it maybe twice. I don't care for that
kind of slapstick humor.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
Yeah. I like the greatest game I ever played.
Speaker 5 (40:45):
That one's good. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
I like Shilah buff like, I thought he was really cool. Yeah,
really immersed himself. Yeah, in the experience.
Speaker 5 (40:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
I feel like I watched Bagrivants as a kid, so
I was like, very.
Speaker 5 (41:03):
You were into it. I was very attached to that movie.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
I don't think I've seen it. I need to watch it.
I know, I like, don't.
Speaker 4 (41:10):
I'm not a big I consume a lot of media,
the like TikTok and Instagram. I wouldn't say there's a
lot of like TV watching happening or movies.
Speaker 5 (41:19):
But maybe I amend my Shush of the Week.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
To Claire Rogers, not having seen the Ledgon the Bagra
man like nodding along with me.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
I like, don't even better, I can tell you what
it's about.
Speaker 5 (41:32):
Oh my god, Claire. It's such a classic.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
It's Matt Damon goes off to World War two or
one or one of those, and he comes back and
he was an amazing golfer before he fought in the war,
and he's like fighting his way back to through all
these like horrible traumas that he lived, and Charlie's is
his love interest. And he meets this mystical character that
Will Smith plays on the beach in South Carolina somewhere,
(41:57):
and then.
Speaker 3 (41:59):
He learns I want to watch it tonight. I'm going
to watch it tonight.
Speaker 5 (42:03):
You have to. Because mel always says this to me.
Speaker 4 (42:05):
I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, never else,
I'll write it on my phone right now.
Speaker 5 (42:09):
You don't have to watch it tonight. You just have
to watch it like in the likely.
Speaker 4 (42:14):
Here's the thing, like, because I'm not traveling right now, Like,
if it's going to happen, it has to happen now.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
Okay, Legend Bagavans. If anyone's listening that has not ever
seen it, it is the best, in my opinion, golf
movie of all time.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
I like, truly have seen so a few things that
when I worked at Golf Digest, they made like an
Excel sheet of all the movies I needed to watch,
and there were like forty on them, and I like,
I ended up watching shawsh Ak Redemption and I loved
it so since I watched it on like the Amtrak
and I was like crying, Oh that's terrifying.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
But I did like it. Okay, this one's a little
more upbeat, perfect.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
It's like the type of movie that they don't make anymore,
like like early two thousand.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
Okay, did you ever see Angels in the Outfields?
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Yes, Like that's the kind of movie I like that exactly,
exactly perfect.
Speaker 5 (43:07):
That's sort of vibe.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
You'll love it amazing, even if you don't.
Speaker 5 (43:11):
Just tell me you loved it. I can do that
because in my head it's like the greatest thing perfect.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Yeah, yeah, Okay, do you have anything else we want
to we want to cover.
Speaker 5 (43:22):
It's already been forty three minutes.
Speaker 4 (43:25):
Well, I was wondering, I know you're in Hawaii and
you play, yeah, a little bit of golf, or like, how.
Speaker 3 (43:30):
Has the pregnancy golf playing journey?
Speaker 5 (43:33):
Ben?
Speaker 3 (43:33):
What's that been like?
Speaker 5 (43:36):
So I'm not as good at like walking eighteen yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
I can imagine, Like, but like, what about like swinging?
Speaker 2 (43:44):
Swinging is fine, definitely, I mean I definitely don't have
as much swing speed, and it's like a it's like
my center of gravity is shifted.
Speaker 5 (43:52):
But I feel like I strangely am playing better.
Speaker 3 (43:54):
Oh that's amazing.
Speaker 2 (43:55):
Like I've got my joke has been my new swing
thought has tell me to the target, so I just
have to shift my whole body correctly to the target,
which is what I should be doing anyway. But now
I just have this attached swing aid thing. So I
think it's actually been pretty good. I'm just as far
(44:17):
as like caring how well it goes and the physical
aspect of it that is down way low. But I
mean I don't think that it's not like my stomach gets.
Speaker 5 (44:27):
In the way.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
If I play a lot and there's a lot of
twisting and you're really not supposed to be doing a
lot of twisting and pregnancy, then that can start to bother.
Speaker 5 (44:35):
Me a little bit. But whatever, Wow, and then how
is why?
Speaker 4 (44:39):
I know you guys talked about it a little bit,
but I was watching all the reels Michelle, but she's like,
I think I'm ready for another one. Yeah, and then
you're like another comeback. I was like, you guys are
so funny.
Speaker 5 (44:52):
All we do all day long.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
My phone is blowing up and hers is too of
reels that we want to make.
Speaker 5 (45:00):
It's granted each other reels all day every day.
Speaker 4 (45:03):
And like when you guys are at the win for
the eight a m Invitational, like there's always great content
that comes out of YouTube being together on.
Speaker 2 (45:10):
The floor, us and whoever else will participate because we
know you want to make all these funny videos, but
you'd need specific people that are willing to do the
videos with you. You know how, you just have like
a content friend. This is this your non judgmental content
friend that will not only film your content for you,
but will also be in content with you, which is
(45:32):
just like a fun girly thing.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
Have you found that, like in the golf space, whether
it's a celebrity, a player, somebody who is surprisingly into.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
It, surprisingly into it, I mean not surprising, but like
Max Homa will be.
Speaker 5 (45:52):
He's happy to participate.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
Like we may say we've played in pro ams and
stuff where we're like Max, you have to dance with us,
and he's like, oh okay.
Speaker 3 (46:01):
He's like one of the players.
Speaker 4 (46:03):
I would feel comfortable being like, come on, just just.
Speaker 5 (46:06):
Just do it. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know about's surprised.
Speaker 4 (46:11):
Any of the guys at the eight Am Invitational. Are
they all fine with it? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (46:16):
I think yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
As far as that goes, I think that if you
show up for that type of stuff, you're like, yeah,
you know what you're doing, you'll participate. Like Michael Panya
or Brian Bob Gartner, they're so funny and they'll they'll
do anything Michael I need you to do.
Speaker 5 (46:31):
Be in this video. It's like, all right, we're in
a script.
Speaker 3 (46:35):
Like oh no, it's just your mouthing one line.
Speaker 5 (46:38):
Okay, okay, but we need to practice. We don't need
to practice.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Oh my gosh. It's so good. I love all of it.
Speaker 4 (46:46):
Always keep that coming whenever you guys are together because
it's so funny.
Speaker 5 (46:50):
Yeah, don't worry, we are.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
So Michelle and g Hay, friend of the show, are
throwing a last Hurrah Day for me coming up this week.
So I'm going to Vegas and we are going to
see the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere. I Am going
to be dazzling my stomach.
Speaker 3 (47:10):
I'm so excited, and we.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
Have a reservation. Have you ever been to Jim Conna
in London or heard of Jim I've.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
Actually never been to London, really, I know.
Speaker 5 (47:22):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Okay, well at it after Legend of Bagrivance at a
deer little London thing, we think you should do. I
love like I think London is probably my favorite city
in the world to visit.
Speaker 5 (47:35):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
Anyway, there's this world famous Michelin Star Indian restaurant. People
say it's like the best Indian restaurant in the world.
It's in London. Their original location is in London and
they just opened one in Vegas, and so of.
Speaker 5 (47:51):
Course Michelle Bak.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
Michelle got us a reservation there, which is very exciting.
I can't eat a lot in pregnancy, so that is
a bit of a bummer, but I'm going to push
my self real.
Speaker 3 (48:01):
Oh my gosh, that's gonna be so fun.
Speaker 5 (48:03):
I'm so excited. So we're gonna go to Chimkana.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
We're going to go to the Backstreet Boys and have
this like fun one night of Kira's last her off.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
That's amazing. That's gonna be so fun.
Speaker 5 (48:14):
Don't worry.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
There will be content already been sending like Backstreet Boys
transitions amazing.
Speaker 3 (48:20):
Oh my gosh, I love it.
Speaker 5 (48:24):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
So uh but you're you have like a whole uh
stable of people at golf dot Com that we're help
that we'ren't always shooting all your content.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Emma especially was my Girand yeah, she she's so talented.
Speaker 3 (48:40):
She's so talented.
Speaker 4 (48:41):
But what I've also realized what I really like about
Emma is she can do like the high production, yeah, emotion,
but she can also just like take a pic where
you're like, hey.
Speaker 3 (48:50):
I want to look good at this photo and post
it on Instagram.
Speaker 4 (48:53):
So but it's again like everybody because it's such a
young team. Also at Scratch, like it also was at
golf dot Com, like they're all taking photos of their
wives and their girlfriends, so like they know how to
just mate. Like I never get my footage back. I'm
always like, oh, this looks good. I'm never like, oh.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
They didn't get they didn't understand the assignment. It's always good.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
So I know, like if I ever run into you
on a golf course and I need a picture, We've
we've done this many times, Claire, can you please take
my picture?
Speaker 3 (49:18):
Riviera up by?
Speaker 2 (49:19):
There were at the Ryder Cup. Yeah, we were taking pictures.
Speaker 5 (49:24):
We have to at the on the range at Pinehurst.
I think me, you and Yabby we were.
Speaker 4 (49:31):
Having I started bringing I got like finally got like
a nice camera for the Masters, and I've just been
bringing it to events and during practice rounds, like we'll
use that to take like not photos of the golfers.
Speaker 3 (49:42):
But photos of my friends and maze. We'll have that
going for us in the future.
Speaker 5 (49:48):
Perfectly perfect, rightfully.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
So yeah, okay, fred I was this was so fun.
Speaker 5 (49:54):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (49:56):

traveling as much.
Speaker 5 (50:28):
You won't see me in the fall. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (50:29):
