but to treat it like God doesn't move you.

comments makes you lose hope in Christianity. Might you just

the sharpest bunch. And if you think of being harsh,
Jesus said the exact same thing. The children of this
world are oftentimes wiser than the children of God, and

them a victory where before they had failure. Fasting in
prayer will turn your failures into successes. They'll turn your

in prayer. If your goal in life is to put
twenty dollars in the offering or one hundred dollars in
the offering and finance every house, and finance every church,

there's no need to fast. But if you would like

to write a check to build a church, be the
lender only and not the borrower.

That the devil induces to try to keep a Christian low,

Another practice that is not mentioned in the Bible commanded
in the Bible fasting. When you fast, when you pray,
when you give, it's a command. And the amount of
days that you're supposed to fast is never commanded in

what it is?

Jesus fasted, The Early Church fasted two days a week.

Early Church fasted two days a week.

Yeah, that's actually something that's pretty well documented. Early Christian
writings like the de Decay mentioned that the Early Church
often fasted on Wednesdays and Fridays. It was a common
practice back then for spiritual discipline.

Two days a week. The early Church fasted Wednesdays and Fridays.

Pharisees fast?

So traditionally the Pharisees were known to fast on Mondays
and Thursdays. That was kind of their routine in the
first century. The early Christians then shows different days like
Wednesdays and Fridays, partly to distinguish themselves. So that's the
little historical difference there.

I always thought that was funny that the early Church
shows two different days than the Pharisees, just because they
didn't want to be anything like them. And then what
do you read about the early Church? I mean, can
we be honest? When you read the Book of Acts?

and revival today church has a lot of growing up
and progression to do. We've had people healed, we've had miracles.

of print Fasting. I arrived on day twenty a Dallas.

took us. We didn't tell them we were fasting, and
in my mind, which I had done lots of times.

orange juice or something and not tell him I was fasting.

all of a sudden, I was like, you know what,
this whole world can go to hell. I'm having a
steak fahda. So I'm saying that not to give you
an excuse to break the fast. I'm saying it because
if this is hard for you.

I don't know if there's anybody that is easy for
right off the bat, unless you have like a demon
of anorexia or I was gonna say demon of blima,
but then then you have that requires eating, unless you
have like an eating disorder.

plainly not. Not only is it not in the Bible,
the opposite's in the Bible. I always felt all evangelism
should function out of the local church. It didn't in
the Book of Acts. Fasting should be done personally and privately. No,
it can be done corporately. Prayer is a private thing.

January is a powerful month because you have literally the

God can do that. God can provide anything you'll put

So you can't fast and pray and stop giving. But
fasting in prayer add something.

are miserable. Few things are more maligned in Christianity than happiness.

Many Christians will point out the difference between happiness and joy,
as if seeking happiness is diametrically opposed to having joy.
It's true, visiting locations that make you happy won't necessarily
bring you joy. Happiness is temporary, But what's wrong with
temporary happiness? If I were to take a five day
vacation to enjoy time with my family, I would experience
happiness from breaking away from the norm to get away

with my family. But I want to base my salvation
on how good taking the trip made me feel. This
could be why so many Christians are unhappy. All we
ever seem to hear in church is negativity towards happiness.
An oppressed, depressed mind doesn't think clearly. Few inventions come
from people in mental institutions. Your mind must be in
a certain state to produce effectively. That's why the devil
(41:57):
fights against your happiness and why God's not opposed to it.
One thing to note in the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke,
and John is that Jesus made people happy. When a
sad woman approached Jesus with news her son had died,
Jesus raised her son from the dead, and the woman
was filled with happiness. Jesus didn't go around making happy
people sad. He made sad people very happy. He healed
(42:18):
the blind, and as a result, he said, I once
was blind, and now I see. Growing up, I had
what some Christians might call a disease. I was happy
all the time. I was constantly told to stop laughing.
When I was in school. They tried to paddle that
out of me the best they could, but it was
no use. I might be one of the most qualified
people to write a book on happiness, because I've been

happy my whole life. I've never fit in well with
most Christians because not only are they often unhappy, but
they also seemed to enjoy being that way. Many Christians
think there's something spiritual about being stern when you instruct
the congregation to pray, most don't pray.

They just look mean.

The main reason why check the News has grown such
a large audience because my interpretation of the news never
came from a depressed conservative perspective. I'm probably one of
the few happy Conservatives on television and one of the
few happy Christians. I don't know why Christians to value
happiness and actively speak against it. Yes, you do need joy,

but you can have both. That's true because there's Christians
that have the joy of the Lord, but they're not happy.
They teach you on the joy of the Lord, they
lay hands on people for joy, but they're miserable.

Christians the value happiness and actively speak against it. Most
of the people who claim Christians should have joy rather
than happiness don't have either. It's impossible to have joy
and not be happy. I would alter that because I've
met people they have it in their ministry, but they're
not happy. This book will reveal changes you can make
to experience both. God did not create life to be endured.

He created it to be enjoyed. Change number one, adjust
your morning routine. Change number two, change the company you
keep Change number three. Imediately remove anyone who steals your
joy or causes problems. Change number four. Free anyone sorry,
fire anyone who creates more work for you. Change five.
Do something that makes you happy every day. That's something

you're not going to hear too many preachers tell you.

Why do people feel guilty for doing something that makes
them happy? This is from do something that makes you

I think people have been programmed to believe that if
something brings you pleasure, it must be wrong. If something
is not listed in the Bible as a sin, there's

find pleasure in something the Bible calls a sin, you

you happy that isn't sinful or illegal. Do it every
day that you possibly can. I don't golf, but if I.

is unchanging. But you can see in the Bible people
did took actions that changed God's attitude towards them, positively

And then the other one they say is fasting doesn't
move God. Fasting moves you. It's true that fasting moves you,
but to treat it like God doesn't move you.

You may have heard this, how many of gods seated
in heaven and the next the next time he moves
is when he's going to be Or Jesus is seated
in heaven and the next time he moves is going
to be when he comes back to the earth. Well,
that's not true, because yes, Jesus went into heaven and
sat down. But when Stephen was being stoned, he looked

up and said, I see Jesus standing at the right
hand of God. Secondly, answer this question in the comments
who appeared to John on the Isle of Patmos in
the Book of Revelation Jesus. Jesus appeared to him in
his wherever they had him, in a cave in exile,

so he came down from heaven to come meet. He
came down and knocked a saul on his back and
changed his name to Paul. So yes, Jesus went to
heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father.
But he wasn't then chained to the to the seat
by the Father. He clearly in the New Testament, comes

back down, can stand up, can move, and can move
on people's behalf. So to treat it like nothing, you know,
everything's already done. There's nothing you can do to get
any more. I mean that people literally will say that,
how many No, there's nothing we can do to get
anything more.

I don't work for you. Give me the money. I'm
headed to a strip club. Yes, there's major judgments in
the Bible for people that touch God's money. In fact,
the quickest harshest judgments in the Bible were for people

Try to sharpen up a little bit, maybe add a
prayer point that God will sharpen your mind. Reading the
comments makes you lose hope in Christianity. Might you just

stay and preach John three point sixteen because it's not
the sharpest bunch. And if you think of being harsh,
Jesus said the exact same thing. The children of this
world are oftentimes wiser than the children of God, and

if you get contacted by somebody claiming to be me,

There are actions I take. I can take that provoke
a reward from God. Ministers are differently rewarded. Christians are
differently rewarded. God is a rewarder. But there's things you
do to enter into that reward. Obviously, there's things you
can do to exit out of that reward. You know,

A Dolls and I were talking. Fasting in prayer gave
them a victory where before they had failure. Fasting in
prayer will turn your failures into successes. They'll turn your
defeats into victories. It removes limitation, it causes breakthrough, It
engenders victory, It engenders victory at another level, Brother, I

already have the victory. Yeah, you look like it. On's
your car payment again? How many churches have you built?
How many churches have you written a check for and said, oh, pastor,
I heard you need eleven million here, so I don't.

Yeah. If you've got tiny.

Little goals for your life, then you can skip fasting
in prayer. If your goal in life is to put
twenty dollars in the offering or one hundred dollars in
the offering and finance every house, and finance every church,
and finance every car, and take seven prescription medications. A day,
there's no need to fast. But if you would like

to write a check to build a church, be the
lender only and not the borrower.

There's spiritual limitations.

That the devil induces to try to keep a Christian low,
and it requires all of the Bible. It's a mistake
to cut the Word out of your life. It's a
mistake to cut prayer out of your life. It's a
mistake to cut church attendants out of your life. It's
a mistake to cut tithing out of your life. It's
a mistake to cut giving out of your life. And

that would be almost universally agreed to.

Another practice that is not mentioned in the Bible commanded
in the Bible fasting. When you fast, when you pray,
when you give, it's a command. And the amount of
days that you're supposed to fast is never commanded in

the Bible. But there's one amount of days that you
can't choose. That you cannot choose. You want to know
what it is?

Zero. No one is allowed to choose. Zero.

Christians fast, Christians pray, Christians tithe, Christians give, Christians attend church,
Christians have a pastor, Christians win souls these are See,
the devil doesn't care if one hundred million people turn
to Christ in the United States. If everybody can just

an excuse to break the fast. I'm saying it because
if this is hard for you.

Many Christians will point out the difference between happiness and joy,
as if seeking happiness is diametrically opposed to having joy.
It's true, visiting locations that make you happy won't necessarily

vacation to enjoy time with my family, I would experience
happiness from breaking away from the norm to get away

with my family. But I want to base my salvation
on how good taking the trip made me feel. This
could be why so many Christians are unhappy. All we
ever seem to hear in church is negativity towards happiness.
An oppressed, depressed mind doesn't think clearly. Few inventions come
from people in mental institutions. Your mind must be in
a certain state to produce effectively. That's why the devil
(41:57):
fights against your happiness and why God's not opposed to it.
One thing to note in the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke,
and John is that Jesus made people happy. When a
sad woman approached Jesus with news her son had died,
Jesus raised her son from the dead, and the woman
was filled with happiness. Jesus didn't go around making happy
people sad. He made sad people very happy. He healed
(42:18):
the blind, and as a result, he said, I once
was blind, and now I see. Growing up, I had
what some Christians might call a disease. I was happy
all the time. I was constantly told to stop laughing.
When I was in school. They tried to paddle that
out of me the best they could, but it was
no use. I might be one of the most qualified
people to write a book on happiness, because I've been

happy my whole life. I've never fit in well with
most Christians because not only are they often unhappy, but
they also seemed to enjoy being that way. Many Christians
think there's something spiritual about being stern when you instruct
the congregation to pray, most don't pray.

They just look mean.

The main reason why check the News has grown such
a large audience because my interpretation of the news never
came from a depressed conservative perspective. I'm probably one of
the few happy Conservatives on television and one of the
few happy Christians. I don't know why Christians to value
happiness and actively speak against it. Yes, you do need joy,

but you can have both. That's true because there's Christians
that have the joy of the Lord, but they're not happy.
They teach you on the joy of the Lord, they
lay hands on people for joy, but they're miserable.

Christians the value happiness and actively speak against it. Most
of the people who claim Christians should have joy rather
than happiness don't have either. It's impossible to have joy
and not be happy. I would alter that because I've
met people they have it in their ministry, but they're
not happy. This book will reveal changes you can make
to experience both. God did not create life to be endured.

He created it to be enjoyed. Change number one, adjust
your morning routine. Change number two, change the company you
keep Change number three. Imediately remove anyone who steals your
joy or causes problems. Change number four. Free anyone sorry,
fire anyone who creates more work for you. Change five.
Do something that makes you happy every day. That's something

you happy that isn't sinful or illegal. Do it every
day that you possibly can. I don't golf, but if I.
