Speaker 1 (00:06):
Welcome to reasonably shady mail Bag. Who okay, okay, okay,
all right, before we get into the mail bag, can
we talk about the super Bowl, because like I have
so much to say.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yes, oh my gosh, because I know like when we recorded,
we recorded after the super Bowl aired, our last episode,
and then our next episode, we don't talk about the
super Bowl. But I realized, like, oh my god, we've
got to talk about this because bed Bunny Benito.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Oh my gosh, I was like all in it.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
It was amazing, amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Okay, first of all, I started watching obviously in my bed,
because I'm watching in the bed. I got out, the
band got up, yes and around it was salsa dancing. Yes,
I was, but I was. I can say because my
my kids, the twins speak Spanish.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Oh they do, like fluent fluently.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
They can they can have a conversation. Oh that's awesome.
They know.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
And we talked about bad Bunny before the halftime show,
and they were saying they were kind of giving me
some of the lyrics and translate from me.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
But still I was like, let me let me go
learn some some Spanish. Right, I know a lot of
songs and know what they mean.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Exactly, and I've always that's been on my like to
do list is to become fluent in Spanish. And I
had took Spanish through high school, and then once I
got to college, I thought I knew Spanish, and then
I was taking Spanish or whatever Spanish in college and
I was like, oh, yeah, no, I got to get
out of here so so I can, like, if someone

(01:50):
was to speak to me like casually in Spanish, I
can figure out what they're saying.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Maybe yeah. But now I'm like, oh, I want to
I want to like take my Spanish.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Confluent because I need to say with bad Bunny reasonably shady, like.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Three more episodes from now, it's gonna be all in
Spanish involved when everybody get into it, Okay, we gonna
be talking with Benito talks.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yes. Yes.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
It was awesome, And then it was funny because there
were like Instagram posts or reels that came across leading
up to the Super Bowls like Okay, now it's your
chance to learn Spanish, and they were like breaking down
the lyrics and tell you what he was talking about. Yeah,
but the show was amazing. I mean, I don't care,
like I don't speak Spanish, I don't need to speak
Spanish in order to enjoy that show. It was amazing

(02:37):
the representation of the Puerto Rican culture and just like
the pride that he had and just the storytelling, the production,
everything was amazing and it was a vibe. I was like,
this is so amazing and so.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay, such a vibe and then I didn't know until
I saw later because I'm able to appreciate it, kind
of like Kendrick Lamar, like you were able to appreciate it,
like after people broke it down right, like the symbolism.
I'm just excited about the music and like, yeah, the
vibe of it all. But like all of those little
restaurants and like the nail salon, and like those are real.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Business, real yes, real businesses. That is so awesome, Like yes,
just just to and and those are the people, those
are the real people that he's that are like cheering
him on that he's representing. These are the people in
the United States who are making a living and trying
to like get by just like the rest of us.
And so the fact that he included them in their

(03:39):
show is like the biggest moment of their life, you know, like, oh.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah, amazing, about the residuals after that are going to
come from them being a part of this and the
whole I didn't know until I was watching something and
they were explaining, like the power grid in Puerto Rico
is right, has always been a mess. So that kind
of explained when he was when he had those whole

(04:04):
hop poles up.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
And the song So the song, I guess that particular
song is about the power grid issue. I think, yeah,
it's it's something like that. I can't remember the title
of it, but no. It was so crazy though that
when Lady Gaga came up stage, I was like, is
that Brady Goga? I was like, I'm like, that looks
like Lady Gogo, but do I was so like that

(04:29):
to me was super random. Including Lady Goga was really
random to me, so random that I was like, I
don't think that's Lady Goga. Me too.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
I was definitely like, reirst of all, is that Lady
go Got? And if it is Lady Go Got, Lady Gog,
why are you here right? This is not your moment,
This is not fine, and your arms are dancing to
a different song than your like the rhythm so off.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
It was ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Like when Ricky Martin popped out of course, and I'm like,
but Lady Gaga, no, girl, Like when you were in
rehearsal's lady guy, guy, did you feel.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Strange when you were right right exactly.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Need to be this is not your moment, girl.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, we didn't need Lady Gaga even. I mean, it was,
you know, good to see her and I and I
guess you know, she sang a song that she has
currently with Bruto Mars, but like right.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Wait, wait, it's not even a Bad Bunny song, Like
why right here?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Right? I was hoping that Cardi b would have performed.
I mean, it was nice to see her on the
in the in front of the casita, but like I
thought she was going to.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Perform because she does actually have music with Bad Bunny,
right yeah, I think it's I like it like that.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I think that's that's the song with him.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Okay, yeah, yeah, I want to see Cardi perform for
so many reasons, like yeah, you're getting a bad deal
out here in these streets, like it's it's just a mess, right, Yeah,
we're talked about her newest baby dance.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yes, yes to no surprise, But.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Feel like you know when it was.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Oh, I wanted the trees to move because you know,
obviously there was people in the trees, so I thought
they were going to be like moving around.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Later that the trees were heavy.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Oh, maybe that's why they were moving, But I was
ready for the trees to like get their little dance on.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
So, you know, I heard the reason why the trees
had to be people was because there's some sort of
like limit on equipment. So in order to like get
around that, they just made they used people. So instead
of them bringing in like imagine if they had if
they had to wheel in all that greenery, yeah, can

(06:41):
mess up the field probably, you know. So it's they
probably limited as much stuff that would damage the field
so that they had to use people. I was here
for the people. I was here for all of it,
and I really feel like it was about time, Like yeah,
it was now. Some people didn't like it. Jill's there

(07:04):
and how yell?

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Hi just saw you, Hi?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
And by I am by Jill.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
You know what I feel. Sometimes sometimes you know, you
have thoughts in.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Your head that should just maybe stay there, stay not
trabble down to your mouth, and they should not come
out your mouth.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
And they surely shouldn't come out your mouth. And you
make a video and you post.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
It and you press record, you press record and then
you say post who. But you know what that tells me,
Like she's older, so she's probably not in touch with
like social media and how people pick stuff up and
it can go you know, super viral very quickly. But
that tells me that she felt that comfortable to make

(07:50):
that video because all of the people around her feel
the same way. Oh totally, you know what I mean,
Like she didn't hesitate to put that video out because
everyone around her was saying the same thing. And I'm
just like, what kind of like loser, miserable people are
you that you can't enjoy? You cannot find joy and

(08:12):
entertainment in that show and you just have to make
it all about yourself. I just and they're not being
white people. First of all, Lady Gaga is white as
far as I'm concerned. Yes, and shoot, Alex Earl was
standing in front of the cacito. She's white. But I
will say me as a black woman, I can tell

(08:35):
I cannot tell you the number of television shows, movies,
political administrations, corporation boards that I have looked at and
been like, oh, they're all white, or I don't see
a black person, or I don't see a minority, and
guess what, we just take it on the chin and

(08:55):
we keep on moving. So the fact that one super Bowl,
one super Bowl is in completely in Spanish and it's
honoring the Latino culture, you can't handle that. You can't
just sit there and enjoy it and say, oh my gosh.
You know, I might be ignorant to certain things. I

(09:16):
might not know the language, I might not know the symbolism,
but I can't sit there and enjoy this artistry and
the like.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
It was very disappointing, just very very disappointing.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Crazy.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
But I mean, she's not.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
The only one that you had stuff to say. But
she ruined her bag. She ruined a bag, for sure.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
And I'm sure she is shocked that she ruined her
bag so quickly, Because how do you get fired from
the show.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
You haven't even started filming, right.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Right, That's how that is? How like, girl, say some
nonsense out your mouth.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
It was. It was just so disappointing. It was just like, Jill,
what are you thinking? Yes, it's okay.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Hey, I always say it's okay to say nothing it's
okay if you don't know your thoughts, right, but you
know what, I'm happy that.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
We do so that now now we know you over
there and you're gonna stay over there.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Yeah, you know, no, totally.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
To be honest, I am kind of happy that it's sad,
but I am happy that we're living in an age
where people do feel empowered to say those types of things,
because now I know, okay, you ain't one of us, Like,
you're not down for us, You're only down for yourself.
You only down for white supremacy. You only down you know,
to to hold people, to hold people back, other people back,

(10:35):
and to marginalize communities and stuff. You know, I'm pooling
you to keep talking, everybody keep talking.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
D's response to it because somebody was I think, asked
him like, you know, did you see what Jill did?

Speaker 3 (10:48):
He was like, yeah, that's east problem.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Yeah, that's not that's the local Bravos issue.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
That's an issue right right, which I appreciate it, right.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
And we we thought for a moment that might have
been disappointed or upset that they didn't, you know, get that, roney.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
What is it called what are they called the Golden Ears?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
The New yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah, Bravo do dodged the bullet for sure. I just
saw Don Lemon. Don Lemon was like, yeah, Bravo is
done with them. I'm like, no, actually that was e
Don Lemon, And Bravo is probably happy that they have
not had to jump into this chat.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
They've had to into enough chats.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, yeah, for sure. But I'm sure for them it's
kind of like it's something something was going to happen
sooner or later that was going to alienate the brow
the majority of the Bravo audience. Now, there are still
a large amount of people that watch Bravo that feel
the same way that Jill's Aaron does. And you know,

(11:54):
hopefully one day your hearts will soften, your minds will open,
and you can kind of change your views. But for
right now, yeah, no, we we cool on Jill's Aaron
and anyone else that thinks like like her.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
And what's crazy is it's so the beauty of this
country is the fact that we are different, right, and
that we can learn from each other and exactly each
other and grow from each other. We're not actually all
supposed to be the same. Well, I don't know what
We're all supposed to be. But the fact that we're
not all the same is beautiful. We have different cultures,

(12:31):
we come from different backgrounds. It is amazing, and we
should celebrate something that's not how we are, right.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
We can't even do that. You can't do it. It's so
crazy America. When I think of the United States of America,
I think of the main thing I think of is diversity,
period And like, you have people here who who can't
really grasp their mind about around that. That is so crazy.
That's the beautiful part of our country. And it's really
sad that they're depriving themselves. You are depriving yourself. And

(13:04):
you know, there's a woman is her name Jennifer Welch.
Have you seen her? White white woman? She's like, uh,
she's appeared maybe like on CNN or like she's more
of a podcaster I think. And she's white, and she's like,
all you white people who are you know, you know,

(13:26):
who want immigrants out of here and aren't really inclusive. Well,
you know what, don't go to a Mexican restaurant anymore.
Don't go to an Indian restaurant anymore. Don't don't don't
watch NFL football don't watch NBA, don't do this, don't
do like she's like running down all the things that
white people who do not embrace diversity should be doing.

(13:51):
And guess what if they did that, their life would
be so freaking boring and dull and just with no excitement,
Like when you think about America without all of the
cultures there, there's some boring asshit like.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Right, it's super a like super Bowl as they over
there eating at chips and squat right, right, exactly, please
cut it out alone. Yes, Okay, we're gonna get to
a piece of mail.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
I'm gonna go. Can I go first? Sure? All right,
because this actually pertains to me.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
You've got mail.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
This is from.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Jennifer Jones, a gardner who said, and the subject is
panties are no panties? She says, my sower roar is
on her own with the no panties option. Not only
have I never not worn panties, I wear cotton panties

(14:54):
with a panty liner. I thought it was gross that
Ashley was leaving stains and sweat stains on seats because
of kouchie sweat. So I would think that a person
who doesn't wear underwear wouldn't have to wash, would have
to wash all the clothing with contact to the area

(15:16):
after each use. I also don't understand how a woman
can feel so comfided that she won't sweat or pee
or discharge or start her period.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Right. This is from Jennifer J.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
All of those things.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Yes, So, Jennifer J. Let's talk. Okay. Yes, my name
is Jaseelle not Ashley. I don't have coochie sweat. Okay,
let's number one. Number two? What makes you think I
don't wash my clothes? Like what in the world? Like, Yeah,
I'm washing my clothes.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Okay. So do you wash your jeans every time you
wear them?

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Okay? Maybe not?

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Okay, maybe not.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Okay, However, I don't have any type of discharge.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Okay, is dry? It's dry?

Speaker 1 (16:06):
No, no, no, no, okay, it's dry, and to let
me not be dry, thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Okay. I haven't gotten any complaints there.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
So I don't have a uterus, so I don't have discharge,
and you know obviously don't have period.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
I don't have that stuff. Okay the end, Jennifer J.
Of mind guousness.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I think I think you are maybe a little unique
in this category. For the most part.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
I cannot go around without panties. I've said this already.
I sweat, I got discharge. You know, I still got
a period, I still have a uterus. I can't do it, Okay,
I don't. I don't want to leave. I don't want
to leave stains on you know, couches and stuff like that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
I've never sat anywhere and then I got up and
there was a staying there or that's I'm not Katie.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
God, Ashley has done that. That has happened.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
When did did Was I there?

Speaker 2 (17:06):
I don't know, but I was there?

Speaker 3 (17:07):
She did it?

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yeah? If I can't, damn, I can't remember. Listen, huh
I thought that was Katie.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
No, that was Ashley.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Oh okay, No, Katie was the one. It happens, right, Katie.
That was that photo shoot for the first season, right, No,
Ashley did it. We were filming. Ashley did it. I
can't remember some and I feel like it was discussed
on the show. Did that happen?

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Probably anyway, it doesn't even matters. And if I were
doing that, if I was leaving Giselle bodily fluids all
over the place, then yes, I would put on santies. Now,
I want you to know I didn't even know we
were gonna be talking about this today, but I have
on some what do you call these some boxers today?

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Thank you very much. They're smacking my button. They make
my butt look really good. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Okay, you have on boxers underneath your.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
My little sweatpant.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Okay, okay, okay. So why'd you decide to wear that today?

Speaker 3 (18:03):
I don't know. I just felt like having my bock
cover look.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Okay, okay read. So I want you to follow up
that email with the one that says funk catchers.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Oh, okay, hold on, funk catchers, hold on all right.
So number two mail bag is from Felicia Morgan and
the subject is funk catchers. Okay, Dear Robin and Giselle.
My mom has worked at a dry cleaners for forty

(18:34):
years and can immediately tell if.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
People don't wear underwear.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
When your clothes hit the blower and you don't wear them,
it's a very distinct, unpleasant odor. This is the reason
she refers to underwear as funk catchers. She has always asked,
do you have your funk catchers on? This is also
the reason she is absolutely against thrift store shopping. Yeah,

(19:04):
I wouldn't. I wouldn't buy something from a thrift store.
That's yeah, yeah, no, be reasonable, Giselle. Please put your
panties back on. Yes, all the love and your funk feet. Okay,
that's funny, oh Felicia. Okay, So first of all.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
I don't know what's wrong with y'all. I don't. And
there's no odor here, there's no funk, no, no fuck?
Are you funky?

Speaker 2 (19:32):
I'm not funky? But if I if it's hot and
I sweat, then I'm sweaty like so it can get
a little you know, sweat funk. But but a lot
of other people are funky. That's not like there's people
have odors discharged all types of like human bodily normal

(19:53):
human bodily functions. And yeah, clearly if they're saying in
the dry cleaners, they could tell yeah, well that's that's
actually egregious.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Okay, And people need to just use the deodorant. You
know how you can do the to me? Can't you
put the to me down there? Oh?

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah, is that what you go? I stopped using that
now it's just used very little deodorant.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Okay, Well, people need to put the deodorant down in
the panties.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Yeah, number one, number two.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
You know, my mother listens to the podcast and she
just called me on this, And if this was an issue,
my mother.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Would have called me.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
So this is uh so it's not an issue, so
we can move on. Your mama up roops. Okay, I'm
just saying you're I think you're rare. Did we ever
do a poll? I never saw the poll numbers. We
need to go back to that and look at the pole.
I think we did, and I don't. I don't know
what it was like.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Oh, Jazelle's being nasty? What? Okay? Fine, well, if I have.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
To be in the category with Ashley Darby on miss
that's rama bee.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
If it works for you, fine, I just I'm like,
it would just never work for me.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
You know.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
That's just all right?

Speaker 3 (20:55):
All right, y'all. Well, that is our mail bag. We
love y'all so much. We'll see you next time. Every
bye bye mhm.
