Speaker 5 (02:17):
I can't wait to hear Rick. I'm gonna tell you.
I was a little nervous.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
I was kind of like you know in the old
days when they would bring and set bear traps and
that big old grizzly beard come in and he'd be
looking and he'd think, I'm gonna be real careful.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Something's not right.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:34):
And when Gary called me and said, hey, I talked
to Rick. We're gonna talk about my deal. I'm kind
of like that bear. Now I'm a little nervous, I wondered.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
When he called me and said, hey, I think mot
is gonna come in, I thought, no, way, doesn't want
to be anywhere.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Near the Somebody has to stand up for our state.
And I'm back at.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yeah, all right, So Gary, where do we begin?

Speaker 7 (03:00):
I'd rather not even talk about it now. So now
after all the heart, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Now, it.

Speaker 7 (03:06):
Uh you know it was.

Speaker 8 (03:08):
I guess you'd call it a mistake or lap some
mine or whatever.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
But uh, now you know Greg's gonna be here this whole.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
I know. Yeah, let's everybody.

Speaker 8 (03:19):
You got any pictures he can give away outside?

Speaker 4 (03:22):
That's so good? He told me, Hey, I don't Greg
out of here. Now start at the beginning, and don't
get in the hurry.

Speaker 7 (03:28):
Have we got time for this?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Well, we're gonna go to get as much as you
can get in up to the break. Then when you
hear the music that means we're gonna break it, shut up.
That's correct, and then we'll come back and finish. But
you get getting in what you.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Can right now.

Speaker 8 (03:42):
Well it started, uh, I guess about two weeks ago,
or you know, I don't. I'm not too good at dates.
But anyway, Uh I had limited out on my turkeys and.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Limited out. How many is that here?

Speaker 7 (03:58):
That's fine? Okay, go ahead, five of them in about
twelve days?

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Good night? So uh a lot a lot of pictures.

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Oh yeah, you know I had been going filming with
a couple of guys and trying to get some birds
on film, and I bought bought me a new camera
and we got one on them, but I forgot to
uh turn the mic on on the camera, so it
was a silent movie.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
So you know, anyway, those are properly these days.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
That Saturday morning, I was going to town because you know,
I didn't have anybody to go turkey up with, so
I was backing out. A couple of game boarders pulled
up in my driveway.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Little boy here.

Speaker 8 (04:45):
We know, little boy, sometimes that's good and sometimes it's
not right, and this time it wasn't.

Speaker 7 (04:54):
Yeah, this was the night. But anyway, I thought everything
was fine. You know, we talked a little bit, and so.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
You thought you were good?

Speaker 8 (05:01):
Yeah, he said, I thought this is where you lived
at and I said yeah, I said, I've been living
here about forty years. And uh he said, how's your
turkey season going? And I told I told him up front,
I said, man, I said, I'm tagged out, you know,
I tagged out limit my limit five?

Speaker 7 (05:20):
Okay, go ahead, that's the state's limit.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Yeah yeah, yeah, if it was your limit, we'd still
be killing them, right.

Speaker 8 (05:28):
But anyway, uh, you know said we talked a little bit,
and uh he said, we'd like to, you know, see
your turkey call.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
I said, sure.

Speaker 8 (05:37):
So I went down unlocked my building, and you know,
there was my five turkeys, legs and beards, and he said,
that's the ones you kill. I said, sure, I said.
He said, well, let me let me see the let's
hear your turkey call. So I played it.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
They was a little bit impressed with it.

Speaker 8 (05:56):
And you do your mouth with it now, y'all just
to us now, I'm telling them, well anyway, Uh you know,
we talked shot the buller for a little while and
they said, well, said we we got to go.

Speaker 7 (06:10):
So they left. So I went to town.

Speaker 4 (06:14):

Speaker 4 (06:35):

trying to tell this because I don't want to.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Y'all be quite now. I'm trying to tell this.

Speaker 7 (06:49):
But anyway, I mean, they not you know, nice guys.

Speaker 8 (06:52):
We had a long conversation about turkey population and you know.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
And how you were destroying it.

Speaker 8 (06:58):
Uh no, we didn't say anything about that, but you know,
they left.

Speaker 7 (07:03):
I left in about an hour or so.

Speaker 8 (07:06):
I got a phone call from my neighbors said hey,
they's unmarked car.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
Been turning around in your driver.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Now you were still in town when you got your call.

Speaker 7 (07:14):
U and I said, well, I'll be home.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
So were you holding court somewhere telling some stories. Well
I was at the tractor shen dig.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Yeah it was great.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
But anyway, hey, when that whispered campaign gears here at
the tractors dig.

Speaker 8 (07:31):
Well, when I got you know, when I got home,
I text the game boarding, which you know we we before.
You know, we took some pictures and you know, they
wanted me to send them to pictures and.

Speaker 7 (07:44):
Oh that's the way I put out on social media.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Yeah, I saw those.

Speaker 7 (07:46):
I'm a nice guys, I mean other than you know.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Right at that and at that, at that moment, everything
was great.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
Oh yeah, it was great.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
You know, you thought to yourself, Man, I really connected
with these guys.

Speaker 8 (07:56):
Well I thought, I did, well, I do I can
that are in friends? I mean just because they you know,
they've done their job.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
I bet after this, so the game warns you got
your blinde Oh yeah, I thought.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
All right, let's come back.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
All right, let's let's let's let let's come back. So
they came over, y'all visited. They listened to you call. Yeah,
got some pictures made, you showed them the turkeys. Hey,
ya's tagged out and so, and then you went to town.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
And while you were at the tractor shein dig in town,
somebody said there's unmarked cars coming to your home and
now you're going back.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah, okay, all right, we'll be back more more. We
Gary the Bulldozer Man right after.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
The ricking bubba, ricking bubba.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Well, uh, there it is Leonard skinnerd on the hunt.
That always means it's outdoor talk. Today, Dann Moultrie is
back for the first time in a while. But Gary
the Bulldozer Man is here. If you're just joining us.
Gary is telling the story. He said that he was
visited by the game wardens concerning turkey season or hey, hey,
I aged out and they saw my five turkeys and

(09:02):
they've actually with me and they heard my call and
then and then they laft and I went to town and
was hanging out at the attractors can Dick and I
started getting text that they's unmarked cars over at my house.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
So that that's the last we heard.

Speaker 7 (09:16):
Gary.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
I want you to know that you scared Brooks. Big
love burgess. He is he is shadowing today, he said.
When he saw Gary walking up, he goes, Dad, is
Gary gonna get on me about tearing up one of the.

Speaker 7 (09:26):
Vehicles again, they probably needed it.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
By those boys are run through them.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
Oh, I'm telling you all right.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
So he's gotten comfortable. Now he's gone with a sleeveless
shirt on. You comfortable now?

Speaker 5 (09:39):
All right?

Speaker 3 (09:40):
So now the unmarked cars have come back to your
house after they had visited.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
You tell us what happened next.

Speaker 8 (09:46):
Well, when I got back home, I text the game
would and told him I was at home if they wanted,
you know, if that was them, you know, I didn't.

Speaker 7 (09:56):
Know what it was, troopers or out or whatever, you know.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
And uh, you remember that one thing we got in?

Speaker 7 (10:02):
Oh yeah, yeah, I was playing it was but.

Speaker 8 (10:05):
Uh yeah, they pulled back in and I was down.
I think I was already down at my building again,
you know. Uh, they wanted to say my said we
need to see you hunting license, and yeah, so I pulled.

Speaker 7 (10:22):
My hunt lisse.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
These are the same ones that were there earlier.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah, you probably thought the picture was fuzzy, that's why
they were back or something like.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
Well, I told you, you know, I didn't know.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
I mean, well, go ahead, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (10:33):
You know, when they left first time, you know, they said,
you know, you know, we thank you for you know,
talking with us, and you know they'd eating a bowl
of peanuts there and you know, go then yeah, yeah,
I said, we don't worry about that. I said, I
don't suck chocolate off of them. But anyway, you didn't

(10:54):
like it, did you?

Speaker 5 (10:57):
You all not do that? Two people?

Speaker 6 (11:00):
Go ahead, Well, I mean I want to hear the
whole before I'm gonna tell you my opinion.

Speaker 8 (11:05):
Go ahead, Okay, Well they uh, they wanted to say
my license and I you know, I've been writing down
my my turkeys on the back of my my license.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
I supposed to.

Speaker 7 (11:16):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (11:17):
I really didn't know that it was mandatory that you
call it in and get a big long number to
put under there on each turkey, so like a confirmation call.

Speaker 7 (11:30):
Oh yeah, you had to write them down last year.
But I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
They We talked about this on the show, about that
we we we let off this whole thing.

Speaker 6 (11:38):
We had director Sits on the show talking about it
multiple times. We had Commissioner Commissioner Conservation talking about it.
We had Rick and Bill helping us publicize it when
we were pushing it through the state. We talked about
it multiple times. But go ahead, I'm almost I.

Speaker 7 (11:55):
Can't tell you this.

Speaker 8 (11:56):
If it wasn't announced on Andy Griffin a gun, I
probably didn't. But I mean it was a mistake, you know.
And even when you know I got I got a
ticket for it.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
What faster got a ticket?

Speaker 6 (12:14):
What changed from when they're up there doing the turkey,
eating your peanut, eating your peanuts?

Speaker 7 (12:18):
Yeah, I just throwed that in just to get a life.
You know, they changed.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Why didn't they do that when they were there the
first time?

Speaker 7 (12:25):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (12:26):
They probably left and you know, but I would imagine
when they opened my door and seeing all them fans
and beards.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
And so we got us one here, Oh we got
to go mine right here.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Hey, it's overwhelming when you say in his lifetime, so
you had written it down.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
It's just you hadn't called it in.

Speaker 7 (12:44):
No, I hadn't called but you were keeping your own but.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Going a little road.

Speaker 7 (12:49):
Well, you know, I hadn't broke the law. I've never
broke the law, you know.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
And well you told me you didn't believe in laws.

Speaker 8 (12:55):
Well I don't law line.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
You know, you can go so far and then right
before you get in trouble, you need to stop.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
Right.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
You said, you just don't believe in gun laws but laws.

Speaker 8 (13:08):
But yeah, you know I agree. You know I deserve
what I got.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Well so did you. But you thought you had done
what you needed and.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
A good thing about it.

Speaker 8 (13:18):
The the other game, warden, he uh, he said, you
know there's an app on your phone and I said,
I didn't know nothing about that, and he.

Speaker 7 (13:28):
Said, let me see your phone.

Speaker 8 (13:29):
So he downloaded the out and rested all my turkeys
for me and then handing me a ticket.

Speaker 10 (13:38):
Then no, but well, you know you broke the law
that showed you in the law one as far as
you were a rogue turkey hunter.

Speaker 8 (13:49):
Well, I've been called a lot, but you know, I've
always tried to do what's right. But you know, it's
just something I didn't. I didn't do, and undoubtedly there's
a lot of people that I've talked to that hadn't
done that.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Ye said, if you no, don't be don't be the
empty scamp, the company pimp telling the people.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
But public service announcement.

Speaker 7 (14:20):
This is a public service announcement.

Speaker 8 (14:22):
You know, if you kill a turkey, you better call
it in if you don't want any little pink slip, right.

Speaker 10 (14:29):
But it's obvious you weren't trying to keep it from
him because you told him.

Speaker 7 (14:32):
I told him up front.

Speaker 8 (14:33):
I told Dan before that happened that I was limited out.
I told people want me to go hunt, and I
was limited out.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Because you were trying to hide it from him. You
would never walk them back to you. Next time you
say I ain't killed nothing.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Greg, they should have gave you some kind of grace
period or something.

Speaker 7 (14:50):
Now I'm on your side, Gary.

Speaker 8 (14:52):
No, I mean if I give John no one, I
mean I ain't no better anybody else.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
So you pretty big deal though.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
I mean, Gary, you're around turkey hunting relentlessly and you
didn't know about this.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
I didn't know about this.

Speaker 8 (15:07):
Talks of it, but changed that I do hunt is turkey.
I don't squirrel hunt, I don't rabbit hunt.

Speaker 7 (15:16):
I don't love hunt.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
So you're you're a turkey specialist. So let me can
I weigh in here?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Glasses on and we need your wisdom. Garys doesn't gone
road and got a ticket.

Speaker 6 (15:29):
You ever look at the front of the Alabama Hunting
and Fishing.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Digest that we do every year. Gear, have you ever
seen nothing? They're sitting in every quick.

Speaker 8 (15:37):
Morning shock, well, hey the game ward and give me
one Saturday.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
Rick Rick Rick read read that right hand.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
The magazine probably sitting out at the magazine racket ticker
chip says Alabama Honting and Fishing Digests, Big big letters
game check system is mandatory for twenty six twenty seventeen
deer and turkey seasons.

Speaker 6 (16:02):
It's right here on the cover. Now, I understand you
may not get that, so but you're the spurmaster. You
got the state record. You sell one of the best
turkey calls in the in the UH, in the world.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
Surprised you ain't bought it.

Speaker 8 (16:17):
Yeah, you're an avid deer in turchat on back because
I give him, I meant by the company.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
If he gets his sales over, we'll look at it.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Well, you know, he only wants to sell so many.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
Gary has told me, and Gary calls and we talked.
He said, and this is unbelievable that every year since
he's been turkey hunting, you killed the limit of turkeys.

Speaker 8 (16:39):
Oh yeah, not over that lot, but the limits ever since,
ever since I killed the record in twenty twelve.

Speaker 5 (16:49):
Yeah, you killed that.

Speaker 8 (16:50):
I started developing my call. I have killed my limit
of turkeys, okay, which is by.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
And and.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
Don't just right it down? Hang on, we gotta break.
Oh boy, we'll come back back. Gay. I got to
be honest with I'm a little disappointed in you.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
I mean, all you've done for hunting and fishing not
to get this right.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
So was your is your running over with the game warning?

Speaker 7 (17:16):
Oh yeah, Now now it's not quite over yet.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
So we got another story.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Oh, we'll let Dan finish his thought, and then we
want to hear you finish your So the story is
not over, hey, Ri.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
And then a trivial equipment.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
Okay, so let me update everybody where we are. Gary
has come on and has told the story about him
being visited by the game wardens.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
They listened to his call. Uh, they looked at the
five turkeys that he had in our state. Five's the
limit you had limited out, you tagged out, had a great.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Visit with him. They left, then they came back.

Speaker 8 (17:52):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
They looked at your license, as they should. They had
seen that you had done one part of documenting the
turkeys you killed, but you had not completed with our state,
and I require so we can get the research that
we need to know our numbers of deer and turkey.
It helps us all to have that information.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Gary.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
And and you had failed to call in these turkeys
and get your confirmation number so they could add them
to the numbers that were shot this year or taken.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
And so you didn't do what you were supposed to do.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
And then the game wardens, who at one time we're
celebrating with you and getting pictures.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Gave you a citation. Is that where we are? Is
that what happened?

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Yep? Okay, So now we're going back over it a
little bit.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
So Dan, we went through his I would call Gary
a turkey expert.

Speaker 7 (18:39):
Let me say this. Let me say this. We talk
about the guys. Uh, you know, he said, you know,
we hate the rats. You would take it.

Speaker 8 (18:47):
I said, hell, you don't hate it as I do.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
But yeah, he just thought he hates. But I mean
they've done their job, and you know I'm not.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
You know, let me tell you how good they were
to you, Gary. And this is how good all our
wardens in the state are. We just went through since
two thousand and two. You just said you had limited
on turkeys. Not only twelve twenty twelve. Not only did
you not do it this year, you didn't do it

(19:19):
last year, so there there.

Speaker 5 (19:23):
Would be five more tickets here.

Speaker 7 (19:26):
Well, I didn't know that.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
If you're on the interstate driving, Gary, and you running
a hundred, oh boy, and you didn't see the.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
Sign, are you still responsible? Oh? Here we go? I
don't know.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
There's a responsibility comes with honey, especially when you hold
the state record and you're the spurmaster.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
In the state of Alabama.

Speaker 6 (19:49):
You are You told me yourself that you're considered a
turkey hunting celebrity. Now you told me that on the
phone the other day. You said, Rick told you celebrities
have to act to a little different That's right. And Gary,
you have to game check your turkeys if we're gonna
set seasons in the state.

Speaker 5 (20:09):
If you knew how.

Speaker 6 (20:10):
Hard we fought for this every ward and every ball,
just every person down at game and fish so that
we could get the data for this.

Speaker 5 (20:17):
And and and.

Speaker 6 (20:20):
So that we could make your favorite sport that you're
making your living off of.

Speaker 7 (20:25):
Talking down.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
Sales could be brist Now because your name is gonna
be more well, known now right, But Gary, you cannot
do that.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Let me ask you.

Speaker 7 (20:38):
I know I can't now.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
Now, and I'm gonna help you again here.

Speaker 6 (20:44):
I know you got to place over on the lake
places you fishing when you're down there.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Now, that's all right?

Speaker 6 (20:54):
What about and I know you help and Rick has
been thrown under the bus with you know, it's just.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
A sad day for me. Rick has big drugg the
letter because do you deer hunt?

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Gary? Very? Seldom have you killed a deer in the
last two years? We said no, you no?

Speaker 7 (21:13):
Okay, Jerry, I hope they don't look at your instagram.

Speaker 6 (21:17):
The same the things apply lead them real quick, hurry.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
You have.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Dad's asking for your numbers for you.

Speaker 6 (21:27):
Dead, and we have to You've got rich kids down there.
Oh boy, you scared poor Scott Dawson to death. And
you got kids down there that Rick's bringing down there
every week. And you got to set an example for
game checking Geary go.

Speaker 8 (21:46):
Well, if I would had a known it, just like
I said, you know, I probably would have.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Well, let me ask you, do you know it now? Yes?

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Will you tell everybody?

Speaker 7 (21:55):
And I have told there.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
I will go to your defense if you tell me
you'll be the biggest advocate of game check that there is.

Speaker 8 (22:05):
Well, and if it's not raining, I've done. I'm gonna
put on a seminar to make people aware of this.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
Now.

Speaker 8 (22:14):
If it's not raining, I'm gonna put it on because
it's got to be in Walmart parking lot.

Speaker 7 (22:19):
But I'll do everything I can.

Speaker 8 (22:21):
And I have told a lot of people that didn't
know this, I said, well you better you know.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Well, let me make you feel a little bit better
about it.

Speaker 6 (22:31):
Harvest Reporting twenty sixteen seventeen. You know how many people
game check their turkey? Twenty three thousand. So we did
a pretty good job getting it out there. So it's
a population looking the population. We've got Auburn University conducting
a five year survey right now to find out that

(22:51):
Eastern Turkey within and this isn't just confined to Alabama, Rick,
it's throughout the range of the Eastern Turkey. We talked
about this last time we were on the show. We've
got to stay being done to find out what's going
on with the turkey. But anybody that knows wildlife knows
it goes through bell curves of up and down and
what causes that and what could be causing disease or
other problems with it. Now, Gary, I understand you've got

(23:14):
an idea of what could help us with this survey
on this this study on turkeys.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
What would that be?

Speaker 8 (23:19):
Well, you know we talked about it on the air
about when I started selling my turkey calls that you
know I was worried about the turkey population.

Speaker 6 (23:27):
Right, So you let me clear this up. You think
that your calls could be wiping out the turkeys.

Speaker 8 (23:33):
It could be I know it's wiping them out from
that would.

Speaker 6 (23:38):
You you know what if it's doing that to the
state's heard, I think at least you could do it
a little note in each I told that you got
a game check your turkey when you can, you.

Speaker 8 (23:50):
Need to contact Mississippi. Called Mississippi. I think everybody Mississippi's
got one of them have nothing on over in.

Speaker 7 (23:57):
A few years.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Somebody has just called and want me to ask you this,
and Dan, you have to tell him. Did you happen
to game check that donkey sho.

Speaker 7 (24:10):
I knew that was coming.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
I knew that was coming. The killing.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
Yeah, I wrapped my ass down.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
We didn't have one donkey game check.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
So Gary, Gary, what we find out.

Speaker 8 (24:27):
I tell you what I'm fixing the dark doing, but
I don't know. I got to find out if you
got to have a.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
Permit for it. I'm fixing this dark black panther hunt.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
No, there we go. Don't don't open that door, Garry
so so so.

Speaker 7 (24:41):
You're gonna, we're gonna.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
You're gonna follow the rules now because you're informed, you
know what you're doing, and you see what.

Speaker 8 (24:46):
I may have to call this game warden back when
I kill a turkey and let him come by the
house and load this thing on my phone.

Speaker 7 (24:51):
Because Gary, call is you don't have the ask not
that hard.

Speaker 8 (24:55):
Well, I've had people that I've told that I said,
you know you you got a call and they can't
get through.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
What what what you get through? Every time? There's not need
anybody getting through.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
No, No, if.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
You call that number, you're gonna get through.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
Gary. Are you gonna tell the trooper that you didn't
know what you didn't see the speed limits?

Speaker 5 (25:15):
Noning?

Speaker 7 (25:16):
Then you say, he said, man, you know how face
you going? I said, well, I don't know. I said,
I got here quotes.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
I could and Rick Rick preaches this every time he talk.
But we're cleansing today.

Speaker 6 (25:28):
This is a clean Hey, Gary, is is there anything
else you want to cleanse today?

Speaker 5 (25:34):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (25:34):
Well, you didn't know the second part of it, did you.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Oh no, this is why that grizzly bear was nervous.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
Let's take a break back. Yeah, Dan, I hate to
tell you this. There's a second part of the story.
All right, we'll get that when we come back. And
then we got damn trippy question coming.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
Up to It's Gary.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
I mean Dan, I mean he set you straight. Maybe uncomfortable?
I mean, man o't there's a little Gary over there.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Rick and Bubba, I hope you're.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
An extreme club member. She can go back.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Gary the spur Master himself as tagged out as he
usually does on turkey season in our state of Alabama.
He thought he had followed the rules about checking these turkeys,
but he did not do the final step which is
now mandatory, and that is to call in or use
the app to get his confirmation numbers so that the

(26:38):
state can now account for these turkeys in the turkey
population and consider and continue their their very very important research.
And then really Dan made the point to Gary, and
I agree with Dan's assessment that with the name you
have in turkey hunting. Your name on a call that
is so good that really you have a responsibility greater

(26:59):
than others. To be an example, if I to properly
take the turkeys and to report them and you received
a citation for it, Oh yeah, you deserved it. Yeah,
and you paid it yep, and now you're letting go.
I paid it within three days.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
But you said something else happened.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Well, yeah too. We've all been wanting to know what
part two is.

Speaker 8 (27:19):
Oh well, I'm kind of you know, the guy that
wanted me to go, he's a principal of a school
over around Tuscaloosa. He wants me to go to wanted
me to go with him turkey on and then I
told him that, you know, let me today out. You
know I'd go, but it couldn't take it going well anyway,
he said, well, there's a place you know, thirty forty

(27:39):
five minutes from your house in or Tawao County that
we can go. And we got a meet in time,
and I said, you know, i'll go. We but he
brought his friend Fred, call him Fred and Bonnie. So anyway,
I said, okay, I'll be there. So eight thirty that
night I called and asked him. I said, is this

(28:02):
place you got to have a permit or anything? He said,
uh no, said you just sign up. You just signed
the mount they give you and that's you permit for
the day. And I said, okay, I said, I just checking.
So we got there, we signed them out and put
it in the pocket and we went. I called up
his turkey for this guy and he shot missed it.

Speaker 5 (28:24):
We're exactly where you hunting.

Speaker 7 (28:26):
Uh. Well, I noticed a signer. It says, uh w
m A.

Speaker 6 (28:30):
You do you know what that says for my goodness
wild correct you know who runs?

Speaker 7 (28:35):
Uh, it's been a long time anyway, keep on going.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (28:41):
So the guy shot missed the turkey, so I said,
well we might as well go, and uh you know,
we walked back the truck, got in the truck. Here
here comes another truck, he said, there comes somebody. I said, yeah,
that's mister green Jeans right there.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
Let's clear up. Nah, that's Gary, that's the game.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
Yeah, I'm a nice mister green Jainks.

Speaker 7 (29:05):
Yeah, he's uh, I'm a nice guy. I pulled up.

Speaker 8 (29:08):
He was listening to Rick and Bubba and that's funny.
Undoubtedly he knew who I was, and he said, can
I see y'all this permit? And uh I said, uh sure,
So I pulled out my mouth and hand it to
and he said, uh, that's not the permit, my gosh.

Speaker 7 (29:29):
And uh so it went downhill from there.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
But anyway, you are attached.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
You know how attached to gear you are?

Speaker 4 (29:38):
Rick this this geary you you got to get your control.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
You're an example I know of how to do it
right the and you you're out there role.

Speaker 8 (29:49):
Well I called the guy and said, do you need
a permit? And he said, I read it. But the
first time I've been on this place, he thought.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
It was just that was but you got you got another.

Speaker 8 (30:01):
Uh yeah, I got a warning that it was. You know,
he said, I'm on. He said, if you'll get online
and get your permit.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
Well, you happen to go online. You're right standing in
front of her. You had to do it.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
Well, you know we're about going on London Helmsey doesn't.

Speaker 8 (30:18):
Well, I had the guy. He said, man, this is
my fault. He said, I'm gonna pay for his permit.
He said I didn't. I didn't know, and so he
he got my phone and you know, put his credit
card in there.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
And here do you do you realize that it's a
different day now, the days of little Gary in his
own little Gary world. I mean, you're you're you're a
represent you represent the outdoors, you represent this show, you
represent Dan. I mean you got a follow the rules.

Speaker 7 (30:50):
Well I thought I was.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
Really Let's roll into the trivia.

Speaker 7 (30:55):
Here's the trivia. Let's get up here.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
It is for a new twenty eighteen boy m forty
I pro camera from Moultrie and that really cool camera back.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
Yeah, and read what Ashley added out of the bottom
h in.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
The complimentary copyright.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Oh my goodness, we're going to throw in a complimentary
copy of the twenty eighteen Alabama Game and Fish Regulations
so that you won't have to be like Gary.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
I want to talk about that.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Wait a minute, give Gary coffy first so he can
have that. That's uh, you know, very disappointed.

Speaker 7 (31:28):
Tell Ashley, I appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Ryan.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
I'll be honest, I'm disponting. I mean because you always disappointed.

Speaker 9 (31:38):
Man.

Speaker 8 (31:38):
You asked me, you text me the other days, wanted
me to go by and fill up the four wheeler.
Said you had some people. I said, I will I
faint in jail.

Speaker 7 (31:46):
You know, I know, I know.

Speaker 4 (31:48):
See I don't even know whether you're available or not.

Speaker 5 (31:50):
Now I don't know.

Speaker 7 (31:51):
You have to call it jail and say if I'm in.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
There, if you are listening to today's story, you have
the answer.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
And you should know this.

Speaker 6 (31:57):
And this is again this isn't match Dan as you
called in the past. This is per Gary Vines telling
us before the show started.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
Now, go ahead, all right, so Gary knows the answer
to this is correct. So here is the question for
the new twenty eighteen M forty I pro camera and
camera back and a complimentary copy of the twenty eighteen
Alabama Game and Fish Regulations in case you come to
our state, ton are you living our state? How many
citations has Gary received during Turkey season this year?

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Per garynes Per?

Speaker 3 (32:29):
How many citations that includes warnings and tickets? How many
citations has Gary received during turkey season?

Speaker 5 (32:37):
This could be a war record.

Speaker 8 (32:38):
Well that's you know, I've been hunting about forty five
years and this is you know, my last two weeks
been very rough.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Yeah, but but Dan just went through a history. This
is just the time they've checked on you.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
Yeah, I mean, undoubtedly, if they really wanted to not
be your friend.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
We could have gone back a little further.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
Oh boy, Gary, what is the Why are you saying we.

Speaker 6 (33:00):
Because I'm part of the state of Alama and we're
protecting our turkey.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
You're part of the state of Alabama.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
You know what's gonna happen now, Dawson and will be
in where around?

Speaker 3 (33:07):
Oh gossp Alex and Andalujia. How many citations?

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Ooh boy, close Jeremy five? No, no, no, let's go
to Jared.

Speaker 6 (33:22):
Look at all those people lined up to guess how
many citations go on there?

Speaker 4 (33:27):
Jared seven.

Speaker 7 (33:33):
Seven it is I think that was one of the
game boards.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
You called it. Jared, will put you on hold.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
You've got a new twenty eighteen M forty I pro
camera camera bag, and also you pick up a complimentary
copy of the twenty eighteen Alabama Gaming Fish Regulations, and
we'll try to get that autograph.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
Maybe by Gary Vine.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
Yeah, autographic, right, Jared, let me put you on hold
and let's get all your information and MOLT will ship
that right to you.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
Okay, I said, right, man, I put you on home. Jared.
Now he's he's on line five in there. Guys.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
Well, Dan, thanks for being Patty Moltry, thank you for
the great breakfast today.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
That was fantastic.

Speaker 7 (34:12):
Gary.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
You're gonna hang around or you need to go.

Speaker 5 (34:14):
Now.

Speaker 7 (34:14):
I'm reading something Gary.

Speaker 5 (34:15):
Told me Rick that because Bubba wasn't here, he.

Speaker 8 (34:18):
Had Now I just want to know if I'm gonna
get Bubba's paint. I mean, I've been here on just
about as much bubble head. Let me answer that for
you know, that's what I figured.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
I can't have nothing you can't have.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
You know what we've got.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Rick, We've got the new biggest advocate game check.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
To a campaign with him. Y'all need pictures of him everywhere.
Gary the bulldozer man says, be sure you game check.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
I know why.

Speaker 8 (34:48):
I know why to expo, y'all put me across the
across the aisle from the game boardings.

Speaker 7 (34:54):
Now we all remember that they can keep you close.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Thanks Dan.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
We right about ricking Bubba, ricking Bubba.

Speaker 11 (35:05):
We talk about a lot of times it's you can't
carry this job home with you because it, you know,
peer pressure A lot of times is pointed out in
a negative way. It also can be a positive thing
if you have the right people around you. But you know,
I'm bad I'll go home, and you know, I'll get
to raising on Betty or something like we do around here,

(35:26):
and you know, I'll get the hay time out. You
ain't with the boys anymore, you know, And I go.
I forgot, I didn't throw the switch. You know, I
gotta I gotta go to I gotta go to.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
Home, Bubba, you know, come over where.

Speaker 11 (35:35):
I'm a kind, loving and caring Husband's always willing to
do odd jobs around the house without delay and so.
But Greg got me in trouble this weekend because since
Greg has been here, how you dress has become more.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
Of an issue than ever.

Speaker 11 (35:52):
I mean, you used to give me the hay you know,
how the bear cat's doing? If I got on red
and black that you know, I'm used to that this
which was a reference to Weaver where we grew up,
you know. Or if you got on white and black,
I ask you how the panthers are doing?

Speaker 4 (36:05):
You know all that.

Speaker 11 (36:07):
But Greg brought a level of brutality to your dress
attire that quite frankly scarred Michael Hams for about three months.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Did just that one series.

Speaker 7 (36:18):
Just stand in my closet in the morning and contemplate
because of Greg Bird Yeah, that's what I do too.

Speaker 11 (36:23):
I think I think can Greg make fun of this,
yes or Monday?

Speaker 4 (36:26):
As you would think I'd be a snazzy dresser because
of it. And I don't dress no better than y'all.
You know what, But I even go ahead.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
I've named my dress as he gets him a pop
about this, I've named my clothing what Greg will call
them when I get here.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
Right, let me get the barber shirt and put it
under that.

Speaker 11 (36:40):
Yeah, I go ahead, I go ahead and try to
take the joke away when I get here. Like if
I've got on a shirt that they say a barbershop
quartet would wear, I will just run in and go, hey, guys,
practice at four today? I got bear tone, you know
I mean, I just go ahead and get it out.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
Of the way.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
If it ever gets cold again and I wear a
flannel shirt, I grab it. Going on, let me get
my brownie paper towles.

Speaker 4 (37:00):
Hurt.

Speaker 11 (37:01):
Well, Uh, this Sunday, this Sunday, and it was it
was my fault, and I feel bad about it. And
uh we sit down and I usually sit on the
front row in Sunday school class because of my A
H D F D I C M C A c
A and uh you know, I I that's the only
why I can pay attention. If I get in the back,
I start thinking about snacks. And you know, we have
a snack ministry. That's Hay number one. And uh you know,

(37:23):
if you run a little late and you didn't get breakfast,
you know, Sister Schubert's waiting on you when you get tear.
And so that's always, uh you know, I look forward
to that, and so I have to really you know,
focus and uh so I'm sitting in the front one
of them, and we have several guys that rotate through.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
All of them very good.

Speaker 11 (37:39):
But one of my favorite was teaching this week and
uh he's doing Uh it was doing a study in
Ezekiel and doing some companion work out of Daniel and
how the two work together. It was a very good topic.
I love Ezekiel. It's a great, great book. So I'm
fired up and uh he he starts by saying that,
you know, we got a lot cover more than we

(38:01):
can get to, so we got to really get into
it and move on so we can get done and
get out of here. And then I blurted out something
and it just like Rick, It was my spine talking
and it was due to conditioning here. I said, what
time does the Bowling League start? And the look on
his face was like, what did you just say? I'm

(38:22):
up here fix it, you know, And he's looking at me,
and by then laughter has broke out in the class
because I said a little louder than I know.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
Betty's elbowing me.

Speaker 11 (38:32):
And he looks at his shirt he's got on, and
he has on a black collared shirt that hangs just
a little bit low, and it's cut square and it's
got big white stripes in the front of a vertical
going up and down.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
All he needed was a wrist brace and he.

Speaker 11 (38:46):
Was and he looked at me and I said, what
team are young? I couldn't I just couldn't quit. You know,
I had him down, and you know, it's just that
mentality here that you're just used to keep pushing it pushing. Well,
plus you had you some support and people started laughing
and that, you know, because it looked exactly like a

(39:06):
bowling League shirt that you would have and and I
even may have made a comment about how the Black
Knights looking this year.

Speaker 4 (39:13):
I know, you even come up with a name.

Speaker 11 (39:16):
And he looked at me, and you know, he tried
to recover and go back in the left, but I
could tell during the whole lesson he was thinking I
got on a bowling shirt and Bubby just I didn't
mean to, because gosh, I was dressed like you know,
we're totally inappropriate for sure.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
How about this had on.

Speaker 11 (39:31):
Shorts and you know guess what I was wearing shorts,
a shirt and tenish Yes, right.

Speaker 4 (39:36):
Up, a bubby university all the time. Yeah, probably this shirt.
I probably cycled it look like that shirt. Yeah, like
Graham says, the way.

Speaker 11 (39:43):
We got like three of them that fit. I try
to rotate them best I can. Yeah, thank y'all off
with a Friday Monday.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
You know you have their armor on the different side.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Greg made the point the way we hack on each
other a better clothing, you would think we were good dressers.

Speaker 4 (39:56):
Yeah, yeah, the same thing over and over. I don't
have any clothes.

Speaker 5 (39:59):
You know.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
I hate to say it, I did the same thing.
Caused a huge controversy, and I'm sorry. I know what
Greg's done. It was you a great teacher. I love
it is when you got a little laughter. If everybody
would have gained a gas.

Speaker 11 (40:14):
I threw out three comments before I ever even thought
about it. You know what, my brain wouldn't even engage
till after the third one. My brain might have got
in to say the black knots because I used that.

Speaker 4 (40:23):
But you know what, that was fine.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
When you go out into the real world, you you've
left the battlefield. So a soldier man, you got to
be careful. He st flashing back to the war. Before
you know it, we're we're hacking on.

Speaker 11 (40:35):
People had that great snack ministry.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
Oh no, you can't be.

Speaker 11 (40:38):
I throw down a few sausage balls. Let me get
a little caffeine. I'm wiry on that front row.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
Thingingers.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Yeah, you know it's funny you said that, and we
got to I don't.

Speaker 11 (40:50):
Know why our default is bowling league and barbershops.

Speaker 4 (40:55):
That shirt is the same shirt. Can either you either
see bowlers wear it. It's cutting your hair. Oh.

Speaker 11 (41:01):
I may even ask him to turn around so I
could see if it had the name of the team
on the back.

Speaker 4 (41:04):
I don't remember it.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
And I blacked out, and then you had you know,
I mean, if I'm doing a speaking engagement, I say
something that wasn't appropriate for the venue and people laugh
at me.

Speaker 4 (41:13):
I'll say, guys, if you laugh, all you do is courage.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Yeahad that I may do another s look caught frowly.
I'm realizing I should have done that.

Speaker 11 (41:21):
And Rick, you know what it is. It's training. It's
our job, and it's training. When you hear laughter, you
keep going, you turn it up. You know you're on
a roll and it's hard to disconnect.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
I had a zinger so bad on one of our
teachers that it carried over to the next class. He
talked later in the day because they got wind of it.
And you ever had one that went on into another room,
you're not even there, and people pass on what they
just heard about the guy, and everybody else thought that
was waiting on trying to discrusch, because we just have
a knack for seeing something and saying, hey, so and
so called wants that back or wins the bowling league

(41:52):
starting right, And we've got we've got a teacher that
wears some weird shoes and and and in my opinion,
his shoes were over the weird line from me right
and look, I'm sitting there like you snacked the snack ministry.
I'm popping back on some you know, pigs in the blanket.
He walks in. I said, hey, boy, Rumple still se
is gonna be disappointed.

Speaker 7 (42:09):
You gotta ship.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
Before I could stop him, I said, had it? And
you hear rum.

Speaker 5 (42:17):
You are going down home?

Speaker 4 (42:17):
Oh gotcha?

Speaker 3 (42:18):
Spreading and you got it? He's just sitting there, demo,
He sitting there tomorrow. I was going, you real, That's
all I heard all day is.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
And you know too.

Speaker 11 (42:25):
I mean this guy he's prepared to lessen, He's got
up early, he's prayed over, he's all about it, and
then he has to recover from a black not bowling
comment to go into Ezekiel's wheel of fire.

Speaker 4 (42:35):
You know how hard that is?

Speaker 11 (42:37):
You know how hard that is?

Speaker 4 (42:38):
How far was he into it? Before anybody was listening?
They were still thinking about you hacking on bout. Yeah,
he had to look around. And who is this guy?

Speaker 11 (42:44):
I thought I saw him one time during the lesson goo?

Speaker 5 (42:46):
How about that?

Speaker 3 (42:47):
And hey, he'd already made it clear they had lots
of coverage and you.

Speaker 4 (42:51):
Delayed it and I apologize on the room. And who's false?

Speaker 5 (42:55):
Is it that that's a Greggs? Well?

Speaker 4 (42:58):
I parceled to by him. Well, drive the only one.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
Here ricking Bubba ricking Bubba.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
So we're talking about the beach, and so what we
would do is go down to the setup is you know,
we have the beach house. We have a kind of
a deck area in the back and I always have that.
If you if you've rented the beach house with a
swimming pool, it's always this tiny little swimming pool. It's
not very big. It's basically a soaking pool. And that
was good for the younger kids, you know, because you

(43:28):
know you're not going to basically you're just gonna lounge
in it when you when you don't want to. So
and you know what we learned at the when you
go to the beach and w said with Simber on
the lake, I don't know what it is with water.
The forecast means nothing. Now, I mean we we we
had we had a day that it said one hundred
chance of rain and it never rained. So you can't
follow the forecast. You just got to get up and
see how the day and then you might get rained.

(43:48):
Then it goes back out and take you. So what
I love when we can pull it off is to
get a house or something that is right on the
beach because that way you we you can literally walk
down the steps and I want I want to be
in the beach house if I can find one that
when I say I have to go to the bathroom,
it doesn't mean I have to jump into Gouf of.

Speaker 4 (44:06):
Mexico, Ron.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
I mean I can literally walk back up the steps
and say I'm gonna go back to it. May need anything,
you know, and you never have to take the big
coolers down because just take enough drinks for the bowman
and each morning you want right back up.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
So anyway, we know that Dad.

Speaker 3 (44:19):
Before being seventy nine pretty much would say anything anywhere anytime.
Right now, Greg, and you know.

Speaker 11 (44:27):
This, strangely, Rick, it sounds like he'll say anything anytime anywhere.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
But even with a less filter than ever before. Boy,
it's almost like he didn't expect him make it to
seventy nine and he's on barred time. So we take
him down and he and I are sitting, you know,
we're you know, I position myself under the umbrella and
we'll get to this part of this picture I'm talking
about here that became something I discovered on the week
two and I'm living out the progressive insurance commercials. But

(44:54):
so anyway, we go down, we sit down. First of all,
what do you do on my chair? I said, what,
I don't want you to be out in the sun.
You and I we're gonna sit on these umbrells. Well
you think I can't put my chair on the umbrell Well,
I mean, I know you can, but I I just thought,
what are you gonna do with your shoes? Well, I'm
just gonna go down to the bottom of steps. I'm gonna
take take off my water shoes.

Speaker 4 (45:15):
You know, these shoes.

Speaker 5 (45:16):
Is obsessed with that.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
He wants to wear all the time. He's got these
water shoes he's had forever. Mom tried to get some
new ones and he refused him because he said they
wouldn't He'd say, hey, what do you think about my shoes?

Speaker 4 (45:25):
I like those day?

Speaker 3 (45:26):
You see he's right here. You how long I've had this?
I have no idea, he said, I don't either, A
long time and like that. So where you're gonna put
your shoes right here? Because you know he's O C D. Anyway,
So now as he gets older, it gets more and more. Ever,
so we sit down and I think, well, I wonder
what it's gonna be like with that on the beach,
you know, this year. So we're look, let's face it,
when you go to the beach, human beings make strange

(45:49):
agreements when it comes.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
To the beach.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
None of us. There's nobody shaming, because nobody cares. We've
made an agreement that will hang out in hot weather
and wear the least amount of clothing we can in. Uh,
we'll we'll come by and give you a full shot
of our rear end. You know, if you'd like to
see our rear end.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
Here it is.

Speaker 3 (46:06):
We have people that have no business wearing certain things
that they wear. Nobody cares at the beach, Okay. So
I look up and of course we all like the
people watch and there's some people, you know, the kids
are playing around in the waves and dead and I
are underneath the of course, in the Gulf of Mexico
is loud, but it's not that loud.

Speaker 4 (46:23):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
I mean the guy's literally walking from us to the
golden ticket seats.

Speaker 4 (46:27):
Okay, I hear loud. Hey look at on no legs. Oh,
no legs, you got pretty good them.

Speaker 3 (46:33):
He't got no legs, doesn't and and and and the
guy just looks over.

Speaker 4 (46:37):
I said, hey, hey, dad, that no legs. Here's here's
look he goes see that. That's the problem you think
I get? And I was like.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
That, should I expect this all week? Should I expect
this commentary all week?

Speaker 4 (46:53):
You like that? Hey, hey, look at old lark? What
was he doing in that?

Speaker 3 (46:57):
You believe that that he hears you? This heavy man
hear's you. He here's what you say. He sees a
guy with you've ever seen guys with so much hair
on the back, and he's got two things coming.

Speaker 4 (47:06):
Down to by.

Speaker 7 (47:08):
Look at guys back.

Speaker 4 (47:08):
Let's look you look at you got two breasts on
his back.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
And I'm like, dad, everybody you're saying, everybody you're talking about,
they all hear you, They hear.

Speaker 4 (47:19):
You, think I get that? Is this all weak?

Speaker 3 (47:22):
I mean, because we're just getting started a lot of
people gonna walk by with various elements and various looks.

Speaker 4 (47:27):
And what about that?

Speaker 3 (47:28):
Yeah, hey, he just talking about your legs.

Speaker 4 (47:33):
I don't know what to say. I don't know what
to say. Could have been worse.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
You should see me said the fact that.

Speaker 4 (47:43):
I'll tell you what. Look at that.

Speaker 5 (47:44):
Look.

Speaker 4 (47:47):
Hope we don't lay on the beach and mouth throwing
bag in the water.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
That you talk about the guy who's trying to talk
to us, that guy so so that that nice man
that that became an issue the show.

Speaker 4 (47:58):
Yeah yeah, you talk about.

Speaker 3 (47:59):
The guy from Indiana that listens to the podcast Dad
or dead. Uh that guy you don't have, the guy
that said he wanted to meet you now regrets it.

Speaker 4 (48:08):
Yeah, uh so. Uh the guy that's walking, I can
see him thinking in his mind, do I look like that?

Speaker 5 (48:14):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (48:15):
Because you you made sure he understood it.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
But uh so so the other thing I noticed, we
all we all know the progressive commercials about you becoming
your parents guys, guys and Adler. There's there's one on
Instagram that has the full body shot. I started walking
downstairs because you know how it works when you when
your family beach house or lake house are on.

Speaker 7 (48:33):
That wasn't panned at all.

Speaker 4 (48:35):
No, No, I would get up and I would get dressed.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
I will walk down because you know, Greg, this man
in coffee, Oh hey, we ever gonna get some coffee.
We're gonna get some cons all day that that dad,
we get hot. We just he'll walk up. What we're
gonna do any coffee?

Speaker 4 (48:51):
Dad?

Speaker 3 (48:51):
We just finished coffee. That the reason why that's empty.
We all drink it.

Speaker 4 (48:56):
Well, I guess we don't have no call and Dad
that we just hacked off it.

Speaker 5 (49:02):
Great?

Speaker 3 (49:03):
Great, you don't want to coffee? No, not really, not really, dad,
I've had two cups.

Speaker 4 (49:07):
I'm fine. In twelve noon, I'm shaking Dad a twitching everywhere? Hey,
all right.

Speaker 3 (49:20):
So so every day I would come down look at
this picture again. And it happened multiple days, and I
were dressed exactly the same test exactly to say, like sure,
he goes, is it dawn on you that you've built
your dad's wardrobe? And I said it has I didn't realize, guys,
this is don't understand.

Speaker 4 (49:39):
This happened more than one even the hat match. Yeah, yeah,
oh that's press. You think you didn't have cardboard in it? No,
it's sure. Do you know what I did?

Speaker 3 (49:47):
A lot of you were asking when you I would
put something on social media to just do have cardboard
in it? I tricked him this time because I knew
he'd leave the cardboard in it. Now you're supposed to
leave that in it, Dad? No, no, Dad, that's not
supposed to know this if we keep it shaped in
the box, not on your head.

Speaker 7 (50:02):
Your head keeps the shape.

Speaker 3 (50:04):
You don't put you don't leave the cardboard in it. No,
no one does that. No, No, that's what it's for. No,
it's not so. So anyway, what I did this time,
I had what's my favorite ricking bubba hat we have,
and that's the one we have on the black one
with the song on logo on the front. I love
it to sharpn So what I did is I as
I got that one. I got that, took the cardboard

(50:26):
out and gave it to it. Okay, I didn't. I
didn't do like we did last time, giving one in
the box or have it shipped to him, because an
he's gonna leave the cardboard. Yeah, and uh and so
he uh he he now is wearing one that I
had for just a few days.

Speaker 4 (50:40):
And I got me another.

Speaker 3 (50:41):
Well he brought it, you know. I mean, I tell
you what, I like his hat. That's a good one
day you got that, you're gonna wear that hat. Well,
I walk down every day and I look, and we
were out of these seven days, Dad and I dressed
exactly the same for five. There was only a few
days we didn't look exactly the same. And I thought
the progressive commercial is real.

Speaker 4 (51:03):
That's happening right in front of my It is one
hundred percent real.
