Speaker 2 (00:11):
Tips, Ricking Bubba, ricking Bubba.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
To me last night. You know, they did the songs
of Shanaia Twain the night before, which was kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (00:21):
How about I love seeing shana Twain on there right.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Well, I knew you would. Yeah, I'm pro Well, well,
here's here's the good news. She can't sing a lick.
Here's the here's the good news. They did. She sang
a song. They didn't do any of we none of
the artists chose what I considered to be the the
and it was weird. And I know that you and
I didn't even know some of these songs because it's
not my reference of music. But you know, at least
(00:46):
they didn't do all those hoky Shanaia songs, because she's
got some that are really did and it cost her. Yes,
she did, she's only did one of.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
The whole See, I wish said have done more of those.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I mean, you know how you talk about how big
Mike when he bangs on his new chest. You can't
take it when when Shania Twain, I forget the some
put out that song she talks in. I mean every
time it. Who are you, Brad Pitt? I was so embarrassed.
I mean I was embarrassed to hear it.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
Rick, I love that so, Rick, you knew he would that.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
You know what those songs were. You're embarrassed when you
have I mean, he embarrasses the song.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
You're talking about the woman who sold the most albums
of any female in history, in history, thirty or four.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Million, the most of any female in history. Let me
tell you why. She is very talented. Robert mutt Lange,
by the way, everything he touches, Oh yeah, great, pretty so.
And he was her husband till he you know, and
I klew that and I said that, But man, was
that about it? I mean, have you seen the housekeeper
what he was thinking?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Who's he thinking? I hate to go I hate to
go back to Bill Clinton?
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Yeah okay, and he shouldn't have done it, but my goodness,
he could beat.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
That, you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Well, the point of a matter of fact, if Bill
Clinton had been running around Shania Twain, you said, well,
it's wrong, but at least you understand, right, right.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
I mean, but what I'm talking about is even with
any artist, and and to me, the songs they did
shows that she's a great songwriter and did some great songs,
and like you said, sold a lot of records. But
but still, I'm just saying she had some songs that
embarrassed me. I've got artists that I like that have
songs that embarrassed You don't want to hear don hilid
dirty laundry? You don't, No, not really? I do again
love that? What's up with you? Peerious? No, it's not.
(02:23):
It's a musical taste. It's just it's just a musical taste.
How can he do that? You like bubble gum songs
and we don't. That's all right.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
That don't make that.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Don't make one better than yours. You like tennis, all right?
I don't like tennis maybe a sports periods.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
The way I played it a few times, you didn't
think I like it?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Hate Look at it is this it here? Don't play
this song. This song embarrasses don't and it embarrasses me
so much. Yeah, you say you can hear my laying
in and already. Oh, he'll over produced one. Just everybody's
background sounds like chi Romanians. Everybody it's now, this is
(03:10):
this isn't it? You're thinking about that on Impress Impress.
What a stupid song. But you're right. The only one
that took a hokey one was she bon in it,
call and kicked. Everybody else took it and made it
their own. And actually, really, you know.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
One of the I was hoping one of the guys
will take one of those songs that she did about
you know, I feel like a woman or whatever it is,
changing and just change it to a guy.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
I think any time. And I hate to say it.
I hate to say that it happens in pop music too,
but country music, I love you, but you're the worst. Well,
they'll do hokey play on words, oh catchphrases. Oh gosh,
those songs drive me up the wall. You know, I
get embarrassed when I hear it, the little play home words.
(03:53):
You're right now when they go hoky. Yeah, look, country,
you've got some real hard hitting stuff, but you got
some stuff it's just I mean, Rick, are you.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Trying to tell me you didn't like it's just a
swinging no there you go. I could hear that over
and over.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
I love that, and things like, uh, you know, any
tie into trucks and stuff like that. You don't want
to jump on that big green tractor. She thinks my
track g you look out on rick, you're a guesst.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
Any tie in the trucks.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
It's silly. I mean, it's just.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
You know, you know what, you live a tortured world.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, I got news for you, but leave it on
the station lor You're gonna be miserable. It's just, you
know what I mean when you try to overdom country.
Look at me. I'm country. I do country things I
can't stand in.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Oh see, I see that's what made me think that.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
Y'all that y'all to you purists would lock Shani Twain
because she made it rock and roll.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
She made it pop music. She didn't make it rock
and roll. Well that's Steve Earle made it rock and roll.
That bingo.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Know past.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
We used to do different versions of Good Old Boy Theater.
We did a Good Old Boy Homeboy Theater when Donald
DeMarco Williams was working with us. We did a Good
Old Boy Little Boy Theater back when I think boomer
when he was a little boy, and we've done different versions.
Today it will be good old Boy the Rock Theater.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
I think it's only.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
Fair since I have my official uh Shakespearean hat on,
which has morphed into a Minnesota vaku, that the Rock
have a hat on too.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Maybe they're our cowboy hat. I thought it would look
good that cowboy hat. Beanie is what that would would be.
I mean a little tiny beanie. Yeah, go get it.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
We got to have our costumes.
Speaker 6 (05:44):
That things being flipped over in the studio. It's me
on top speeding.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Okay, let's get shut your headphones off.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
It looked good on your right.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
We wouldn't you your head there you go, there you go, Okay,
I see you all.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Just set them in front of you.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
You can still you still here, trust me, we're all out.
Oh that's perfect. That's great.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
So Bubba will read it and wonder where he's hiding
his gun?
Speaker 3 (06:22):
All right, so uh Bubba will read it as only
he can, because Bubba's a shakespeare connoisseur.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Thank you, Rick.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
And then the Rock will read it in his mumbly
low tone. You probably won't be able to understand that one.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Yes, you'll have to turn the base up to even
recognize someone to speak yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
And then and then Bubba will we'll roll through it
again and then we'll then we'll get ourselves a winter,
identify it and you win. But Bubba, some people don't
know why we play, you know.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
Rick, we are just so blessed to be living in
a culture.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
As a matter of fact, the other day I was
at lunch and someone come up and tap me on
the shoulder and said, excuse me, are you running for
public office?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (06:56):
And I said, well, no I'm not, but thank you
for asking. And usually then they will go, you're Bubba,
that culture general. That's right, And I said, well, thank you,
yes i am. And then Rick, almost immediately and it's
almost one hundred percent, then they will utter the phrase, bubba,
why do you continue this.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Barrage of colt? And it is?
Speaker 5 (07:14):
And I say, friends, we're living in a cultured area.
If you don't believe me, you just look at that
gentleman wearing that that cowboy hat right there, and you think,
my goodness, that's culture. That is that is And when
you have that much culture in any one area, you
can't just leave it lying around.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
No, they'll pick it up and tax it and call
it healthcare. Yes, so it's up to Rick Burgess and myself.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
To feed to me, speed to me, speed the.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Bees, because if you live in corporate America, you know
what feed the beast means.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Oh my goodness, and Bubba could tell you what the
Shakespeare quote means, but I don't have to. Ladies and gentlemen,
what famous Shakespeare work is? Bill Bubba Bussy quoting from
and Scott the Rock Garowski h mumbling through in today's
edition of Good Old Boy The Rock.
Speaker 7 (07:58):
The most infects us pastilance upon the.
Speaker 6 (08:13):
Rock, the most infectious pestilence upon the.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Please welcome Barnabas College one more time, most infect she
us paste lons, yes upon.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
The pausing now for effect. It's just caught us a
sore the rock with a pause.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
The most inflictious pestilence upon the.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Slow that's like talking to him?
Speaker 4 (08:56):
Are lots just flickered? If you.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
If you think you know it, be calling number one
at eighty six six, we be big any hints at
all of them?
Speaker 4 (09:05):
Rick, it ain't hamling if you think you know.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
It dialed up to remember, never under any circumstance. Did
you ever play Good Old Boy Theater at home? Because
we are professional, that's wrong. To the phones. We go
looking for the correct answer. We will start in Albertville, Alabama,
or Arah. Listen to one hundred point three the River.
It is Melanie, Melanie, what is your guest today? And
(09:28):
Good Boy Theater?
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Is that Anthony and Cleopatra?
Speaker 4 (09:31):
My goodness you are dead?
Speaker 8 (09:32):
Correct?
Speaker 9 (09:37):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Anthony and Clipatra? Well done?
Speaker 9 (09:41):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
The home of culture is our Alabama.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Now how did you know that, ma'am?
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Were you just quick to google or did you actually
were you familiar with that work of Shakespeare?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Well, as my husband says, I know everything.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
That's a good.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Wife education everything.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Would you like the rock to second gradulations? Mentley? Just
not just for one time?
Speaker 9 (10:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Congratulations, thank you, thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
The Rooski the only man that we know of Rick
who was born with a drive through speaker.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
So the weekend was going on and we've got all
that done. It was great. I want to see nothing
that happened to me and I and it happened to
me yesterday. So the weekend comes up and we're all,
you know, had a good day Saturday, and so Sunday
I'm going to speak at a church. Had a great
time with the folks at Valleydale there in Birmingham. Again, Uh,
they did something most people don't do. Let me speak
two weeks in a row. There's not a lot of
(10:40):
second weeks.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
It's tough.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Yeah, not a lot of president there. I noticed that
they took my picture off the signe about midweek anyway,
so I don't know what to read into that. But anyway,
so so I was. I got up that that morning.
I'm the first one up on Sundays and I and
I get up and of course, what's the first thing
you gotta do? The question that hangs over every house.
Of course, speedy, is you the most we're gonna do
(11:01):
about the dog?
Speaker 9 (11:02):
Boy?
Speaker 3 (11:02):
So the first thing of every day if I'm home,
this is one thing I'm thankful about not being home.
When everybody gets up there in the way, go get
the dog and let the dog go to the bathroom.
So every every blue moon, for no apparent reason, the
dog will bolt. It doesn't happen. Sherry claims it never
happens with her. She said, they don't put him on
a leash. You just you just walk him out and
(11:24):
he stays with it. And I'll tell you why. Now
I'm told over and over just take him out with
a leash. Normally he doesn't leave, but every blue moon,
for no reason, he'll boat. The reason why I did
not do a leash is I now turned into my
father that I just mentioned. I'm not walking out into
a dew covered yard and my shoes I just put
(11:45):
on to go to church in and I'm not gonna
try to find some backup pair of shoes or walk
up their barefoot on wet grass. I'm not gonna do it.
So the dog's either gonna have to go out there
and go bathroom, come back, it runs off, he runs off.
So so this of course, of course, on on Sunday morning,
he boats, and I said, that's it. So then I'm like, well,
(12:05):
good luck to you, you know what I mean. And
so I hear him over there with the other dogs
across the street. So then I start feeling guilty because
I'm like, it's pretty early in the morning because we
do eight o'clock, you know, Sunday schools, so we're early
church people. So and I was going to speak that morning,
So they were going on to church, and they were
gonna come back for the second service. So I thought, well,
now it's affecting other people. Now I'm the guy that
(12:27):
my dog is affecting other people, and I hate that.
I don't like your dog affect me, and my dogs
should affect you. I thought, he's got their dogs barking.
Now they're gonna wake people up if they're not up yet. Well,
you know, when you start wanting to have that natural
look in your backyard, rocks look good on paper. You
know a lot of rock stuff, right, And our yard
has those tiers because it's a slope down backyard, right,
(12:48):
So we have a tier, then we have a rock wall,
then steps down to the last tier. Okay, Well, over time,
moss has grown on those rocks. Okay, flick moss. Yeah,
and I'm doing what I said I wouldn't do. I'm
now walking in dew with my shoes on. Guys, I
went down so hard, keep on my feet, don't miss.
(13:08):
I'm already mad about the dog. Yeah, okay, So so
now my spirit of the Lord's Day is already being
trampled by a stupid little brown dogs. Okay, and I
go to call him back across the street, trying to
get him to quit barking and getting other dogs barking
across the street. You know what we've talked about it
on there. There's the I feel myself falling. I'm catching myself.
(13:31):
Oh my goodness, I'm down. Then there is I'm standing.
I'm down. I don't know he went down like Ryan Paul.
I don't know how I went down. I went down
so hard and I fell on my left hip so hard.
I thought to myself, we're finding out if I'm if
I'm a fishing an old man yet, because this should
have broken my hip. I mean, I'm talking about and
you know when you got rock steps, they're not they're
(13:51):
not they're not organized. They got jagged edgess because we
want to look natural, that natural look, you know what
I mean. So really what I've done. I haven't fallen
down backyard. I'm fallen down in the mountain. Yeah, I'll
fall down a rock pole. I have fallen down a
rock pile and I'm like, I mean it hit and
I'm like, you know how you did? Jarge you just
a minute and then I'm like found out that I
(14:12):
still have some cussing I gotta work on.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Yeah, huh.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
And then that goes to the backyard. And then and
then I said a few things about the dog that
I that, you know, if he was a human being,
I need to apologize for. But he's not, so I'm
not going to because he doesn't know what I said.
So anyway, I think. Then I think to myself, I
just went down pretty hard on.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Rocks my hip.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Let's assess how hard it hurt? I am you interview
your body? Yeah all right, let's so I start checking in.
I let's move the feet around, feet moving little nerved him.
Let me rotate left to right. See if my hips
is it in place? Is there anything broken? Is any jagged?
Speaker 5 (14:47):
You know?
Speaker 3 (14:47):
And you know, metal taste not too bad, you know
what I mean. And I'm like, I'm like, okay, it
definitely a bruise, no doubt a bruce.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
Then you go, what about wrist? Then the risk get
caught up under.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
That dirt now on my hand, dirt on my shirt.
You wearing dirt point dirt on my jeans. I'm dressed.
I'm dressed to preach.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Oh you were in your preaching jeans?
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Yeah, I mean, you would have thought I was about
to be hired to estaff at a mega church somewhere
near you. I had the mega church, look on, I
got my jeans, got my butt down the outside, my
black rim glasses, got my hair perfect, and now now
I'm in rocks all because of a stupid dog that
I never wanted. You know what I mean? And so
uh so I want you to know I'm I'm then
(15:29):
I was. I went to the church and how you
sit down? You're having delayed reaction now sitting down, everybody's
talking like, what's kind of hurting? Of course I've had
to change now, yeah, because I've got now moss and
mud on the back of my shirt, on the back
of my jeans, and I've got muddle over my hands
where I went down, and also right here hurting right
here a little bit yet yourself, guys, I went to
get the dog back, I add insult to injury. While
(15:51):
I'm laying on the rocks. He comes un the fence
because sits in front of me.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
You call him, I tell you looking for me.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
Now you call him in?
Speaker 4 (15:59):
Why you like? Man?
Speaker 3 (16:00):
What's we lay down? I've never seen this move before.
Speaker 4 (16:02):
Are you wanting to play? You lucky to come up
and lecky right in the faith.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Hey, you want to get your la up and go
get him someth date. Yeah, and that the routine.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Yeah, Ricking Bubba, Ricking Bubba.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
I've been looking forward to this for several days when
we knew that our guests would be Kyle Maynard. Kyle
Maynard is an amputee born without arms or legs. His
arms go to where the elbows would be and his
legs to where his knees would be. And he has
already become a national champion wrestler through high school being
(16:37):
finishing in the top twelve in the country, moved into
becoming a grappling champion, and now we'll make his debut
in the MMA. This is mixed Martial Arts. If you
want to see his debut, you can go to Rickingbubba
dot com and guest info get tickets to be part
of that event. Now, Bubba. Part of him visiting us
today in his remarkable story is we wanted to see
(16:58):
him in action. Yes, and now we've sent all the
highlight tapes and I know he's been you know, and
all these stories that all the various sports or networks
have done on him, but we wanted to see it
firsthand against your brother.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
Yes, Greg Burd just hard working former pole climbing. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
If we were having a tough man competition, you know,
we we would always lead with Greg, since you know,
he said, well, you and I have gotten soft working
in this white collar job and and all that, and
he's fresh off the power poles and all that. So
here we go. We we have Greg in the plaza
against Kyle, and Kyle and and Greg are gonna go
at it, and we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna kind
(17:34):
of give you the play by play action. Now, if
you want to look at Speedy's webcam.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
I've got mine on it too.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
And Bubba's webcam at rickybubba dot com. The webcams will
give you some shots of what's happening. Obviously, those of
you that we are fortunate enough to have Rick and
Bubba tv uh and the Golden Mobile or it is
a golden moment, we do have a personal trainer standing
by the rodfather in case this thing goes nasty or
someone is injured. Now, Greg has been told by Kyle
(18:00):
that he will attack him with the same aggressiveness that
Greg is bringing back. So if Greg decides he wants
to try to win it, and Greg, Hey, if you're
just gonna let some some guy come in here and
whip you, I'll tell I'll tell you one thing he
would whip me. I mean that, that's all I'm gonna say.
But but anyway, so, uh, all right, here we go.
So let's get under what I'm watching. Speedy has the
wireless micahright, and here here, God, he's the great down
(18:22):
so fast, I mean he's got.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
I think he's tapping. I think he's tapping on the ground.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
He went after Craig.
Speaker 8 (18:35):
So aggressive he was, he was, he was so Greg, Greg,
get the bike over there, get the buckler.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
I can't hear you.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
Get them back to it, Greg, repeat that in high
school wrest.
Speaker 10 (18:53):
And how you start out one of them?
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Did you see how fast? Oh my gosh, Greig's trying.
Greg's trying. Greggs in trouble again. I got trouble. He's
stepping again. Gregg is out, gregs, Greg's.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Losing money out of his pocket.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
That's incredible, Greg, talk tell me about his strength.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
You can't moving.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
I'm agreeing with him. Parents. Oh one boy.
Speaker 11 (19:37):
Just one more, one more time, just one more.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
No, Greg, I'm tired, but let me give you my right.
Let me look. This is my current rank, this is
my current top ten, my marriage to Sherry, my children's birth,
big boy in this okay me here he goes again.
(20:03):
He's got Greg around the neck and he's choking him.
Oh my gosh, he chokes him. Amazing the head.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Did he get clubby to the head?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Incredible?
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Incredible? Greg appears a little don't stand up keeck quick.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
His strength is ill tell you what, Tubby, Hey, Tubby, hey, Tubby,
come on down here.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
I don't want nothing to do with him. I don't want.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
I thought he's gonna snap your neck in the second
time because you tried harder, you know, I thought you
messed up when you tried hard. You see him try hard.
What would be the best come out here? You're just
come here real quick.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
What would be the best possible way of him starting
that maybe could get you?
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Yeah, I mean, I mean what I mean.
Speaker 5 (20:50):
We don't give away any secret, Give some pointers.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Kyle, then you you get on your back.
Speaker 11 (20:55):
Then I like that get him now, the best possible.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Yeah, Greg Gregg's band again.
Speaker 11 (21:09):
Try to sneak.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
Greg tried to sneak attack while the instructions were being given.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Greg.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Look, I can't breathe either, Greg, but it's for different reasons.
You want to survive, you better not let him clamp down,
you know.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
I mean, thank you, Kyle Cale.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
Look, look from just a strategy standpoint here, I have
to ask you a question. With you going for that
kind of grip around the neck, it's almost an advantage
not to have a full arm because you can get
right in there on him at short range.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yeah. Oh yeah, because you're almost like a press coming
in now, aren't you, because you got all that upper
body strings.
Speaker 11 (21:58):
You know. That's one thing.
Speaker 9 (21:58):
I've just tried to go and work things that could
be to my advantage, you know, instead of focus on
the things that I couldn't do things, to focus on
something as I could.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
God boy, people learnt you got it? Let me tell you.
Let me show you this. How how was Greg as
far as Greg as far as Greg just walking off
the streets in the flannel shirt and some blue jeans.
How was how was him? Was he bringing anything at all?
Speaker 9 (22:21):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (22:21):
Yeah, definitely no, he.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Was so with some training. Could he be m m a,
I mean, could he be like.
Speaker 11 (22:27):
He give me the thing is right now?
Speaker 4 (22:28):
I just could he be like in a single, a
league or something.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
All right, now let me ask you this too, because
what how Yeah did Greg?
Speaker 11 (22:38):
I mean?
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Did I mean? Because Greg? I m when you tried
that sneak attack, which I let me give you.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
Probus it was a good one.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
On the last one, while we were still giving instructions,
Greg just runs and tackles Kyle from behind.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
You can't move. See, here's here's what I Because I
know Greg, I know you, and I know deep down
you wanted to say I penned Kyle Maynard. You know
what I mean, and at least once right, and you couldn't.
Speaker 10 (23:00):
And because I know he felt sorry for towards the endy,
I think I'm making move.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
You felt good from it. And then he pinched down
once he gets your naked the first time scared me
half today.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
Rick. You know I'm a strategy guy.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
He wasn't backing off till I tapped right, he's fixing back.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
You know I'm a strategy gun.
Speaker 5 (23:21):
I looking at the situation, Greg, I think your own
because he's going for your ankles.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
You need to run and jumping. I think that's only
you gotta keep.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
You gonna have to engage, Yeah, you have to gage.
Speaker 11 (23:31):
That's the thing is that this is a fight.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
So they have to engage you. You know, it's it's.
Speaker 11 (23:35):
Something that they don't have to.
Speaker 9 (23:36):
But you know, roper dope to you know any uh,
you know, any just self esteem. After the fight's done,
the crowds, you know, kind of tear them apart.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
Right, But I would think too, if somebody didn't, if
some if somebody did try to jump you, you probably could
raise up on your on the on on the the
Tor Show here and flip them.
Speaker 11 (23:54):
I'll tell you.
Speaker 9 (23:54):
I mean, it's strategically it's not a bad idea, but
it's not the first time that somebody trying to do
it to me. That kind of the point in time,
I have seen just about anything that everybody's gona throw
out me. Like I was saying, I mean me, preparing
for able bodied opponents is a lot easier.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
For there's no doubt. But well, you're right standing once
you get in his work and it's over because because
the thing is, like you said, because of the way.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
You're having you that too, you don't go into the
Cobra's right.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
You got you got low center of gravity and you're
so strong. But yet you're you're you're a small target.
So someone trying to stay out here and and just
they can't get you. You know, they've got to come
into your world.
Speaker 11 (24:31):
And that's one.
Speaker 9 (24:31):
You know. The thing is I want to go in
and be comfortable wherever the fight goes, you know, not
really just be just be a target. When I'm staying
up there, be active, be moving and you know, be
firing back to you know, I can't stand there in
boxes guys. But you know, if I'm you know, delivering blows,
then I think they're gonna think twice about just standing
and staying away.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
I need one more for break.
Speaker 10 (24:50):
I got to beat me up now these rules are
I mean, like if if you meant somebody could he
stand back and just try to kick at.
Speaker 11 (24:56):
You, then won't be able to kick or need me
in the head. But I will be acceptable that to
the body and so yea.
Speaker 10 (25:02):
But eventually they're not going to be I mean, if
they're going to win the fight, they're gonna have to
score points.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
They're gonna have to engage you.
Speaker 9 (25:07):
I think that you know that That's the thing too,
is that in wrestling, I experienced it where you know,
I'm on a wrestling Matt, and I'd have to go
and to be depending on the referee to go and
keep the match going. If I'd go and drive the
guys off that center circle, then I'd have to rely
on the referee. In this case, I'm fighting in the cage,
that's true.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Run him back, yeah, he can only back up so far.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
So far before then he has to start climbing.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
You did mine? Greg? What was that? The choke like terrible?
Speaker 10 (25:34):
And I know he wasn't bearing down like he's gonna
be in those fightsd You're.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
Right on that artery. Take you line right there.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Hey, Kyle will be watching. Great, good luck job, good
luck your debut, Kyle Maynor, thanks for being here. And Greg,
thank you for your efforts.
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Thanks.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
I do for the show. Well, I know, but hey,
it's worth it. I'n't hurt. This isn't hurt bad. I
expect to get ragged in the hall.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
By the ricking bubba, ricking bubba.
Speaker 5 (26:01):
Everybody is getting tired of hearing about my foot. Okay,
I got that. How about how about I'm tired of
talking about it. I told you yesterday and as late
as Wednesday afternoon, I tried to get out of play
in this round. Not because I would have been glad
(26:24):
to ride around visit, but I knew I could not walk.
Even though if you can drive the cart right up
to the ball, you still got to walk up a
lot of hills.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
To get you know, in my case, out of sand
traps to the t blocks.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
All that stuff blocks my round Yesterday started with me
on the driving range, and I went and got a
new driver with the uh you know, we got to
shop at the Naki tent and I got a new driver,
and I worked with a little bit.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
But I was.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
Pulling everything to the rock to to I could I
could mark the spot where it was going. I was
hitting very consistently, but I was pulling it to the
I'm sorry, to the left, pulling.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Into my left very consistently the wrong way.
Speaker 5 (27:10):
So when I got on the first off, I get
in the car and it doesn't have a roof on it,
you know, So I'm like, hey, no roof. You know
this is gonna be a nightmare. I'm gonna be read
as a lobster before it's over, I.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Did anybody save my ball?
Speaker 5 (27:33):
So so Rick, this is this is how it begins.
We're down there, We're down there waiting to start, and
they changed they changed the setup where they kept the
carts at the driving range and they would not let
you leave on the cart till it was just a
few minutes before your tea time. So they told us
(27:53):
we're running late and those guys are doing a great
job and we're having a conversation with them, but they
won't let me take my cart up. I like to
go up and watch a group or two before us
tea off. You know, they said, now the running late
and want you to keep it here. Okay, what the
keio takes off to the putting branch and he goes
up there and you know, everybody's doing everything else.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
When the guy comes.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
Asay, hey, they're ready for you up top. So I thought, okay,
so we go up there and we don't.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
We don't no more.
Speaker 5 (28:19):
Get there and they're going, come on, we're behind y'all,
come on, we're waiting on you. And I'm like, you know,
so nothing like being rushed to the first tea. So
we get up there and as a great crowd as always,
and everybody's hooping and hollering and we're having a good time,
and hell, Irwin teas off and of course he just
hits a masterful shot. And then for some reason, I
usually go last.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
I'm next. I don't know why. I guess they were
building up to Bo Jackson, right who. So I get
up there.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
And I announced, and people, if you were in that
gallery on the first one yes day, I'd like for
you to call and verify this. I announced to everybody
down the fairway on the left side. You people right
there need to watch. It's coming towards you. I even
do to the eyes watch keep an eye on and
you look to the left side of the fair Yeah.
And I'm holding my hand out and I'm telling I say,
(29:06):
you people are in trouble right here. I mean, there's
so many people there and they're so Closer's you nowhere for.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
Them to go?
Speaker 5 (29:13):
And I'm just saying it's coming your way. Well, I
get up there. I try to make the necessary adjustment.
I'm even aiming a little to the right.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Can you say you're aiming at one or two at.
Speaker 5 (29:22):
About instead of aiming at twelve o'clock down the fairway.
I click it over one to about one o'clock because
I think I'm going to kill somebody. And I've warned them,
and I know that they're not hearing my warning. I
rare back to hit the ball and it goes exactly
where I told them it was going to go. Now
it goes wailing into the crowd.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Bodies.
Speaker 5 (29:46):
It's it's it's down a little ways and there's so
many people I can't tell. All of a sudden, it
pops back out in the fairway that a further down.
So you know, I was trying to give you a posy,
say hey, it came back out. Well, I can't tell
what's happening. So we we go back and ta keyo
goes and and uh and.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
I understood that the Keil's first shot was even worse
than yours.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
Uh he had a little bit of a draw too.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
Uh and uh so we we have to exit stage
right down the steep hill, which you know, you have
a football and you that's steep hills are great. And
we get in the car and take off and and unfortunately,
apparently my shot did hit a young man and uh
boie and bow and Bow was walking down the fairway.
(30:30):
So when I come back into the farewell, he said, Bubba,
come here. He said, this young man you hit and
you need to apologize to him, and uh I did,
and we signed signed a ball for him and uh
uh and Bow was trying to tell him that he
had several good lawyers just in case, and uh I said,
bo I appreciate that, and uh but he was a
(30:55):
fine young man and down.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
So so then we just wanted to meet both Jackson
to kill spoke right then I'm playing the baseball games.
Why is that old man so maan?
Speaker 5 (31:05):
Then we got we got on down the fairway. Of course,
my my work with my irons were terrible, terrible, but
we did get to the first hole and I had
a birdie putt, so you know, for and I will
say this, my my game was horrific yesterday and anybody
who saw that will agree it was horrific.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
Daddy, I can't walk.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
I'm I'm immediately now a thirty six okay, and uh
next year no one should say anything about it.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
But the putting wise, I had a pretty good day.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
Putty turned the radio off, Daddy. It scares me. That's
that man, Daddy, that's that man. He's in my nightmare.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
But let me tell you that the bad part of
us about Daddy, about about whole number three, I see
fat golfers.
Speaker 5 (31:59):
For some reason, I decided to wear these long pants
yesterday because it would look more goth friendly sleep as
opposed to my shorts that I like to wear. And
I noticed that these pants are really not good pants
for walking. They begin to kind of I don't know,
(32:21):
you know, I don't know if my underwear got in
a way, but but these pants start rubbing a raw
spot on the inside of my right leg.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
I don't I don't think it as much leg.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
I don't think it was my underwear because I wear
that underwear all the.
Speaker 4 (32:41):
Time and it never happens. But I think these pants
and that underwear it does not go good together.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
You ain't sweating at eighty degree weather, though.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
So.
Speaker 5 (32:51):
That you know, when you get like a raw spot
on your legs, it hurts. And that was like whole
number three, and I think, wow, we got we got
a long way to go before this is over.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
So you already wrong on three holes. Oh yeah, that
explains there.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
So as time goes on, my left heel is killing me. Okay,
it feels like I have a nail drove into it,
So I am limping on my left foot as I walk.
Speaker 5 (33:19):
Well, then, due to the fact, I have a raw
place on the inside of my right leg. Your natural
move is to swing it out when you walk, okay.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
So it doesn't rub together. So for about you got
a hitch and you get up.
Speaker 5 (33:38):
So for about fifteen holes yesterday, I had a limp
on this side and I'd swing and i'd limp and
I'd swing this leg up and I got so I
would take my putter and just turn it upside down
and use it as a cane.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
As you're seeing this picture.
Speaker 5 (33:56):
And I'm and let me tell you, if you're limping
with your left foot, you swing your right one around.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
Going up a hill is not fun, okay.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
And I mean I know I had to look like
an eighty year old man who was looking for a bathroom,
you know, walking on us.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
I mean it just could not be anywhere. And uh,
I mean that that'll just take the edge off your
golf game right there. I mean it's it was awful.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
You get you in the corn start when you got home.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
When I got home, it worked.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
When I got home, I hit the bed and I
think I might have got up one time before bedtime
last night, Daddy, Can I have some ice?
Speaker 3 (34:37):
I think I got planning fast eat his daddy. It
hurts so bad, daddy.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Ricking bubba, ricking bubba.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
You know, we got the big van that you know
is I like to drive.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
You can bowling it.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
I drive. I drive the big van hoping I'll see
al Gore so I can make him cry. And and
so I just think, please let out Gore see me
in this giant vehicle. And so we're you know, it's
a rolling bus. So now is this is this classic
though the ladies. So today my wife wants to use
the van because HER's friends coming home.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
With the boys.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Got a crowd. She said, I got a crowd. I
need the van. I said, okay, well you got it,
mister keys. I said, that'll put me in your car.
Which that's it's great. Driving that big thing is a fight.
And she says, well, I want it to be clean.
Though I said clean. She goes said you need to
clean it up. You're going through with the boys and clean.
I said, oh, I ain't taking them. She said, no,
get them out there with you. They need to go help.
I said, that ain't gonna be nothing but trouble is
(35:38):
all that's gonna be.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
That's water and soap.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Yeah, And I said, I said, I said, I'm going
out there to vacuum it out and get all the
stuff out. She says, well, I want them to help
you wash the outside, though, Rick, I'll be fun for them, fun.
So I get up just exactly what you said. I said, guys,
let me tell you. We're gonna have We're gonna have soap,
We're gonna have water, high pressure hose. We're gonna have
a hose.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Oh boy.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
And I look, I know where that's going, okay, And
I'm gonna tell you this. The first person spraised me.
The first person spraised me, I'm gonna I'm gonna throw
fire ants on you because I, you know, because I
think I think they, I think they, I think you.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
Gotta up the level so much.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
Nobody'll ever try because we've been dealing with ants and
and you know, yeah, right they were. They were kind
of spook by him. So I was trying to come.
Speaker 11 (36:26):
Up with that.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
And I will sit you right on the fire and
I and I said, one of one of the things
we can't do is I said, if the soap dries
on it as soon as we wash. We got a nts,
we got a rints. We gotta wash we got a rents.
We gotta try to wash too big an area. They
tried to. I said, don't wash beyond, don't wash beyond
the hood, yea, the hood about put them on the tire.
(36:46):
I just asked, y'all this dad's all in the stream.
How y'all think that went?
Speaker 2 (36:49):
No?
Speaker 4 (36:51):
I bet it was a sticky man.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
How you think that went? He goes under that. If
I want it done right, and just let me do
it myself, you know, I turn around at one point
we're we're because you know, it's almost like with especially
with little boys, you would think water soap hose is enough. Yeah,
you think that's enough?
Speaker 9 (37:08):
Now?
Speaker 3 (37:09):
I look up at one point and I just hear
this awful disagreement and fight going on and hose wrestling.
Speaker 4 (37:16):
Let me guess one of them cut the other one's chocolate.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
One has now gotten the liquid soap that Mama assigned
to us and is dumping it on the other one
and then spraying him, making him a sud purse. That's good.
Speaker 4 (37:30):
Let me guess which one was the such?
Speaker 3 (37:33):
What did you do? That's real good? I see so soapy,
I see so soapy. Have y'all been dumping the bucket
on each other and the buckets full. How see s
he's over playing with soap, poured it on my head
and hit me with a hose. And I said, if
you did you soap you?
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Brother?
Speaker 3 (37:50):
Did you soap you? I didn't that. I didn't know
would do that. I didn't know what do that comes
a handful of I didn't know what do that.
Speaker 4 (37:59):
That's that's right.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
When he and you and then you then and this
is the one thing Bill coused me always warned us
about when we get into these ridiculous discussions with children.
I actually said, I mean, I'm forty six years old.
Five kids. I actually say, you're telling me you didn't
know that soap if you put soap on somebody and
(38:21):
spray them with high pressure, that it'll sud all over them.
That's what you want me to believe. Well, I mean,
if you put it that way, well that's the way
we all should put it. I mean, I said, I
tell you what, you better wrench your brother off. I'm
talking about I've been out seeing there being no soap
on him. So so now we're a man, and now
we're completely wet, okay, And then and then you bomb
(38:41):
out say come see how much fun we're having now.
And then now keep in mind, now if y'all haven't
seen this, man, it's the old Southern comfort. That's the
big Oh it's big.
Speaker 11 (38:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
So guess what that requires? A ladder? So I said,
nobody's climbing the ladder but me. But I'm gonna need
y'all to hold it.
Speaker 4 (38:57):
Rick, that's dangerous.
Speaker 3 (38:59):
Hey, guys, I smash them. Hey guys, big Papa is
going up. Somebody come hold the ladder. Who's holding the ladder?
Both of you hold the ladder? I want to hold it. No, dad, man,
Hey son, you come over and hope. Hey Dad, Yeah,
it says here in the ladder you're not supposed to
go up above this step. Well, you know what, then,
whoever built this ladder was stupid, because because I can't
get up there unless I go up another step? What
(39:22):
good is the ladder? What we we?
Speaker 11 (39:23):
We got it?
Speaker 3 (39:24):
We got an unsteppable step on a step ladder. I mean,
a ladder has wrongs.
Speaker 5 (39:29):
Right, and I'm gonna take a guess it's probably got
a weight limit.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Well I didn't, you know what the exaggerate that? So
so we get up there, and so then what do
you What do you think happens with the little boys
when they think, all right, dad's washing now, Oh, I'm
gonna go on and I'm gonna start doing other stuff.
Now the hose is available.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
You know what, Now I can square like that.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
And I started going. I said, you hold the ladder
and I look down. No where we feel it's.
Speaker 5 (39:54):
Like you're a step too high.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Look at it going. I'm like, I'm like, where are
y'all at? I hear other stuff. You hear that here,
all that water going, and you know it's in my eyes,
in my eyes and my eyes, you know. And they've
got soap on in their eyes and in their hair.
And I'm like, hold the ladder. And so they come back.
I say, hey, guys, I'm I'm this far from France.
(40:19):
I mean, I'm this close. I haven't been spreading looking. Yeah,
I said, guys, when I listen, you can't and you listen,
you can't believe that you're having to say things like this.
When I say hold the ladder, I mean till I
come down.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
I mean the kind of like you, they're kind of
like you left the lunch bad. They can let go.
Speaker 3 (40:43):
Well, what do y'all think are y'all locking me in?
Y'all think once I get up there, it's like, you know,
now dad's locked, we can walk away. You're not locking
me in, I said. The whole reason I need you
to hold the ladder. The most crucial part of that
is while I'm up here water, you know where I
can get to the top of it. Well, did we
We helped you get up there, but you're supposed to
hold it while I'm there. Guys.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
Yeah, I don't want to come down too quick, you know.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
And then every now and in shir looks like out
the wind like so cute. That's so cute. They're after helping. Yeah,
it's cute from in there.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
How did they need to come help you vacuum?
Speaker 9 (41:14):
Right?
Speaker 3 (41:14):
Yeah, once y'all come help mama irons us. Let's get
my hot iron that TB yeah yeah. So then of course,
of course then they this is the thing, you know,
this is there worse. I know how they're thinking. I
call them on it, I said, guys, before we go
any further. We're wrapping her up now. She's almost done.
Of course, as the van drives. How many misspots you
(41:37):
think they are? Because birds is you don't pay attention. Well, look,
I said, guys, it's just good. Does anybody think this
is acceptable? And then, of course what do you get?
Then with my part, I must spend, I spark, I
spart he was doing. I said, no, guys, y'all, y'all, y'all,
you know I saw you really get after that one
wheel and then the other three wheels. You like, Yeah,
I'm tired of that, I said, And now down here
we're not washing. Let's wash it again. So we wash
(41:59):
it again. And then as we get to the end
of that, I said, now I know, And it's almost
that they can't believe the think we have some kind
of special power. They forget that we were boys. I said,
now I know what y'all thinking. Right now, y'all thinking
the minute we end, we're gonna sud up from head
to toe and go jump in the pool. And I said,
do not get the soap in the pool. That's out
if y'all we're gonna get in the pool after it's over,
(42:20):
because you know, beig popular hot and sweating now, but
I'm gonna tell you this, we're not jumping in there
with soap. So I had to sit there and just
make sure there wasn't even an ounce of soap, none, none, whatsoever.
So I'm like, all right, we got shorts on we go?
So I go up, I go up the ladder. I
look out there going off the rock. They're in their
boxer shorts. They had underwear on. I said, who wears underwear? Well,
(42:41):
you know, we want to swim in our boxer shorts.
We think that's awesome. There's no different bathing suit. And
I'm like, well, I know, well why why why would you?
You know? And now I'm thinking about mom, but why
would you What should have been two pair of swim
trunks has turned into like five different pieces of clothing.
And that we're gonna hear from who book of blame? Well,
(43:03):
how many clothes do y'all go through in one day?
I said, look, I don't. I don't even know why
they're even out there. I told, well, I see what
that van looks good though.
Speaker 4 (43:14):
You know how I like to wash my car. I'll
have the ultimate and wheel shot.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
You know what, thought I'm that guy to guess what.
Speaker 4 (43:21):
You can't do that with them big van won't fit.
Speaker 3 (43:25):
You have to wash it on Yonner pay three hundred
fifty dollars.
Speaker 4 (43:28):
The hand watch. But Rick, didn't y'all have fun?
Speaker 3 (43:30):
We did. We'll take your phone calls next eight six
six we be big. We go phone trouber. Rick, Let's
go to Casey. Holler you hear me? Casey, go ahead.
Speaker 6 (43:43):
Oh yes, that's calling about the guess day morning.
Speaker 5 (43:47):
Toward the end of the show, I called in about
the rope and together or find out anything about it.
Speaker 3 (43:51):
Yeah, that's true, but confirmed, hope you don't leave to
tie up anything. Yeah, what happened was it? Was it
in Saint Louis in somewhere, what's going on this?
Speaker 1 (44:02):
We actually got people going around to their local home
depots pictures and saying it's Gonne and daltly.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
What happened is somebody tied one lois tied. But you
know what, it goes back to what Bubba said, the
society that you have right now, there's two things that
caused it. One of them, of course, is soccer. We've
covered that. The other one is that we have a
whole generation of people that were raised and nobody ever
tore that that rear end of it. I never got
(44:31):
nobody tore that. You know what you do when somebody
ties the news, some rope that they didn't buy. You
go over and say, I'll tell you what. If I
see you tying the noose here again, we're gonna call.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
Tip.
Speaker 3 (44:42):
You know what you don't do. You don't hide the rope.
Why do we give in to lawlessness? You don't hide rope. Oh,
somebody made a news.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Let's hide the rope.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Now.
Speaker 3 (44:51):
Why don't we go and say you can't not tie
nooses in rope in our store? Sorry? And then we
got you on security camera, and you know what, you're
in trouble for the You're gonna pay us for the doc.
Speaker 5 (45:00):
If they're a kid, you hate the bottom of it.
If there's a grown up, you throw them out and
say don't come in here again. If you do, I'm
gonna work. I'm gonna whoop out out. I'm gonna jack
you up. Yeah, And then that's it got done. And
guess what, no more nooses. Everybody got broked.
Speaker 3 (45:13):
My parents could take a chocolate chip cookie and sit
it on the middle of the table and look at
me and say, if you touch that cookie before we
have dinner, I'm gonna tear your butt up. And you
that cookie wouldn't even there, wouldn't even be a crumb
off of it because I wouldn't get near enough to
even touch it.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
You know.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
You know what nowadays, just hide the cookies. They don't
hide the cookies.
Speaker 11 (45:34):
Tell the kid what they Kenny can't do.
Speaker 4 (45:37):
Rick, Rick, This is a true story. This is a
true story.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
I've been down sometimes. I had a little fellow and
I said, I'm gonna side when I was coaching, I'm
gonna say something you ain't never heard.
Speaker 4 (45:45):
No, have you.
Speaker 11 (45:50):
Ever heard the word?
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Knowing your entire life full bright about this?
Speaker 4 (46:02):
Now they're grown, yeah, yes, and now they're running around.
Speaker 5 (46:06):
I got my gun. I got my first gun when
I was eight years old. Okay, it was a lever
action twenty two riffle like the riffleman had had to
have that, of course shot. And I've told people that
and they said, well, I guess your dad kept it
in the gun safe. No, No, did you have a
gun lock on it?
Speaker 9 (46:23):
No?
Speaker 11 (46:23):
He didn't.
Speaker 4 (46:24):
Well where'd you keep it in the closet?
Speaker 5 (46:26):
And you know what he said, If you touch that,
I'm gonna tear your a up and it'll be the
last time you do it. And you know what, to
this day, I've never touched it. No, You're right, I
had to say were there were there were guns in
the closet. I grew up right now, I'm not making
this up. I'm not making this up.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Greg, you back because people don't think I'm making this
up to your point, Bub because we were raised with
the same kind of dads, God bless them. You. You're
my witness in the house. Greg and I grew up
in three bedrooms, one level probably you know, sliding glass door,
little house in a big yard. In the in the
family room, the den, complete with wood paneling and shag
(47:06):
carpet TV. Above the couch was a gun rack. Not
not all. We didn't have a room to put it
in that's too small. So the gun rack is in
the main room.
Speaker 12 (47:19):
I question that decoration now right right, listen, anybody, anybody
could reach it was band let's you have a twelve gauge,
a twenty gauge, yes, a three o eight.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Listen, and don't forget there was a forty five land
on the flat part. Yeah, on top flat part had
a forty five And you know, you know how many
times we touched it forbidden?
Speaker 4 (47:42):
You know why?
Speaker 3 (47:43):
You know? Not because it was locked.
Speaker 4 (47:44):
Because we were told somebody to tear.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
And you know what, and you know what, you know what,
we didn't touch it.
Speaker 4 (48:00):
We didn't touch it.
Speaker 3 (48:01):
You know why we didn't because things they did. Listen,
because things they said they tear us up before when
we did it, they did it.
Speaker 4 (48:07):
Yeah, they didn't. Hey, they didn't count.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
They didn't count.
Speaker 4 (48:10):
They did didn't give me three strikes.
Speaker 3 (48:11):
You're out none of that.
Speaker 5 (48:12):
The minute you did it, you were jerked up and
got toe up.
Speaker 3 (48:16):
Rick Why didn't you touch the guns that were right
about the couch because I was.
Speaker 11 (48:19):
A stream too.
Speaker 3 (48:24):
I was told not to it a minute, so I.
Speaker 4 (48:27):
Didn't do it.
Speaker 3 (48:30):
I'm gonna check your heart rate.
Speaker 11 (48:31):
Good night.
Speaker 3 (48:33):
We got a generation. If you wrote the word no
on a piece of paper, there's a lot of kids.
They go, I don't even know what that means. Ye,
what's that?
Speaker 4 (48:38):
They flipping around?
Speaker 11 (48:39):
Say?
Speaker 3 (48:39):
