Speaker 1 (00:05):
So I was on the side. Hello, it's Gandhi with
my my co host here, Diamond, who is broken.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Yeah, she's broken, she's been stretched. No, that sounds like
it could be fine. Well in theory, I don't know.
I think I like pulled a muscle in my back again.
This happened to me last year. I forgot how irritating
the pain was. It doesn't hurt, it's just irritating.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
How'd you do it?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Probably working out? It could have been the way that
I've been sleeping too. I don't know, but when it
happened the last time, I couldn't figure out exactly what
it was that did it. I took months off from
the gym. Nothing worked. I went to the doctor and
she was like, go back to the gym. This isn't
that serious. And then Sam's husband, William came in randomly
and I was telling him about it.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
He literally put pressure on the muscle that was hurting
and then massaged like a neck muscle of mine, and
it was gone instantly.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Watch you show up and visit him? Yeah, I have to.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
He was like, baby, I'm sure there's plenty of time.
They all said it wasn't a big deal. It's just
one of my muscles in my back is weak, so
I ended up straining this one. But it's just it's irritating,
that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Apparently weight training and movement is of the utmost importance. Yeah,
whatever in your life. Okay, I'm sorry. I hope you
feel better soon.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
We have part two of Ben and Ronnie from the
Watch What Crappens podcast today, where we are going to
talk about all kinds of things. But we ended the
last one sort of abruptly because I told you and
she's been getting on my ass about how long things are,
so I had to cut it in half. So we
ended the conversation talking about animals, and this one picks
up where I'm pretty sure Ronnie is just like so,
(01:47):
animals that could kill you are something weird like that.
So I feel like there had to be a different
intro into this to address exactly where this is coming from.
It is the beginning of a conversation that ends up
getting pretty good, if I may say so myself. Things
that we often talk.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
About, Oh God, animals killing things. Okay, So I saw
I saw this video of this cow protecting a baby cow,
and all the cows got together and protected it from lyons,
And I thought that that.
Speaker 6 (02:18):
Was really very lovely.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
My favorite animal is that elephant who took revenge on
that old lady in the village. Yeah, because the old lady,
what does she do, Like she bullied an elephant or
they killed an elephant.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
I believe that she Who knows how true this is,
but they believed that she had been leading hunters to
where the elephants were because the elephants were kind of
causing some damage to the crops and around the area,
so that she had been showing these hunters, hey, this
is where the herd is. And some of those elephants
had been killed my other hunters, poachers, whatever you want
to call them, and elephants remember everything.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
Yeah, so they stomped like some of the people, and
then they came to the funeral and stomped the other
people at the funeral her dead body.
Speaker 6 (02:59):
Yeah, some great petty word that is.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
That's an animal. That's an animal I love.
Speaker 6 (03:05):
Yeah, I'm so impressed with those elephants. Me too.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
We would just like the vindictive nature of and it's
you know, it's justified, like I like some good justified crime.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Just Oh so you like justice just not with Diamond
the stripper.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
I mean I feel like she got justice. She gave
us her card.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
And then escaped responsibility.
Speaker 6 (03:24):
Well she was dressed well so well, I mean like
if you like black and white thing, right, a black
and white number, you know, so you know, give.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Her a pass.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
Yeah, give her a pass. Everybody, you're a pretty privileged
you might as well get to use it.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Use it. So the two of you are are we're
celebrating pride months I'll say it that way. Oh yes, okay, yes.
I have a friend, straight male, and he says every guy,
and I just want to know if you guys think
the same way. He said, whenever you encounter an animal,
he becomes like a dog. Or really when he encounters anything.
Can I eat it? Can I fight it? Can I
(04:01):
fuck it? That is? Those are his three thoughts. Because
we were talking about it was the guy thing, like
all guys like you think that too?
Speaker 5 (04:10):
Eat it? Mostly? What was the other thing? I don't
really want to fight it. Yeah, I'm not really a fighter,
but I do think guys are like yeah, I do
think guys think like that for.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Sure, all of them.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Because we were talking about monkeys and it came up
all of the different monkeys he thought he could fight,
and I was like, why are you even thinking about this?
That's so weird.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
You're gonna always lose to a monkey every single time.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Monkeys monkey that you could be, even the little.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
One, the little pigmy armosets, they'll eat your face off.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah, there would be like a shredding of it.
Speaker 6 (04:43):
Will go nuts. I mean they like the monkeys, like especially,
we watched Jim Crazy and I'm.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
Like, did you guys see that? It was so good.
It's on HBO, this crazy lady who just is obsessed
with collecting these animals. She's not allowed to have them.
And I don't even have it. I don't know what
they're talking about. It's coming after me. I don't have anything.
And then at the end of the episode, they catch
her with a monkey in her base, a chimp in
her basement, her base.
Speaker 6 (05:08):
Yet they smuggled a chimp, and like, I just I
don't need to hear another story about how someone's favorite
monkey came and ripped their face off, and like, yeah
for me, because you know what the cat's like. A
cat will scratch you maybe or knock over your TV,
but won't rip your face off. Well, it'll eat it
off when you're dead, though the cat will write is
not a.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Fan of animals in general. I will say this same.
Speaker 5 (05:30):
Person, you're behind the plant door, you would have had
your match. That's one show you would have picked.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
The plant door.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
I would have just stood back because I like nothing.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
I don't like dogs, cats, or plants, even.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
A ton of other people. She's not a fan.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
So you don't like anything that's living, and yet you
also don't like the things that are dead, like dinosaurs.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Yep, she's very picky about what she's into, which I
kind of appreciate.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
I respect that.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
The same person said he believes he could fight a kangaroo.
Never never, thank.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
You, you can't.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Is this guy like I feel like this guy is
like Schlebby and doesn't work out.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
No, is that true? Really, that's what gives them a
false sense of like, yeah, I could.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
I feel like it's the schlubby guys who don't do
anything or like I could take him. It's like a
shut up stand on your couch.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
I once worked on a TV show and there was
a kangaroo there one day, and it was like everyone
had to like steer clear with the kangaroo. It was like,
watch out, this gang is gonna suck you up. So
like you're not you're not winning with the kangaroo. Not
no second, I don't.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Trust anything with the purse as their stomach, Like that's
so weird. I don't like the rule of life in general.
Speaker 6 (06:35):
I think where the kangar the danger is, actually it's foot.
I think it's maybe value.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
Also, their chests are like huge. Well they'll like, yeah,
they'll they'll kick the ship.
Speaker 6 (06:43):
By the way. I don't even try to go near
a cassowary.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Oh my god, the meanest bird on the planet.
Speaker 6 (06:48):
Bird. But they have a talent. Those are like those
are the ones that will take you.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
From like or owls, because remember that owl killed that
lady on a staircase the document. I watched it like
it was an owl at the staircase.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
It's weird.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
Into the house.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
It distracted her and she fell down the steps. That's
what you said.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
That just happened on the island last night.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Oh, so let's get to the meat of this, because
I know Diamond has a lot to say about you guys.
You've had this podcast for quite some times, and really,
well it's one rewards and now you have sort of
become like a Bravo celeberty or Bravo leberties all by
yourselves because Diamond what happened.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
They are now Bravo history makers. So yeah, like that
added to your well.
Speaker 7 (07:35):
Me.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
So we have talked about the Summer House debacle that
everyone is calling. What are they calling? It's Scamanda, Scamanda.
And also I need to know your thoughts on last
night's episode.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Yes see if you guys watched it.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
But basically, Amanda and Kyle married, Amanda and Kyle separate,
and now Amanda is dating West, who is on the
show brought on by who? But West was or has
dated her best friend Sierra.
Speaker 6 (08:10):
And Amanda's best friend.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Yes, so it's just a big clusterfuck of bullshit And just.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Like hanging out and I wreak up with Brandon, Yeah,
and you start dating him.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Sure, But also if I was married and my husband
who I'm separating with was also friends with Brandon.
Speaker 6 (08:28):
It's more like you were in a terrible relationship with Brandon,
and Diamond has been supporting you for several years and
like really trying to get you to a better place,
and you finally take her advice and you leave Brandon
and then you immediately start sleeping with the last person, Diamond,
who I was like heartbroken for two years and then
like finally just mended things with Yes.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
So for the last few months, we've been everybody's been
talking about this. Amanda has been saying for maybe like
almost a year now fan wise that Kyle, she was
basically over Kyle after he spent the night at a
fans house. That's all we know, right, Yeah, on this
(09:10):
past episode of the reunion, and it was the extended version,
we had no like, if you just watched the show,
you had no clue that this happened. They're asking about
what happened, Like, Amanda, what do you mean that he
spent a night at a fans house and Kyle just
goes it was.
Speaker 7 (09:25):
After the Crappy Awards, which are your awards show awards.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
Yeah, he said it was a watcher crap after party.
It was like, you know, such an honor to finally
have our podcast mentioned on a reunion.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
That, I mean, that was cool, But it was also
just like Brotos had a big year of manifestation because
they had this chick named Amanda on Beverly Hills, who
was like a manifestor and she's so we've talked about
manifesting so much. I manifested this because in the beginning,
we've covered Summer House since the very beginning, we're really old,
and I was like, don't marry this man, don't this relationships.
(10:00):
I wanted them to get divorced before they were even married.
So the fact that the divorce happened because of like
the read the day she left him was that day,
and I was like, this is me. I did this, Yeah,
you know, and I do Yeah, I believe that I
made it happen. And I'm like, so you know, everybody,
(10:22):
you're welcome.
Speaker 6 (10:22):
Yeah, it's very exciting. We've had like an impact on
like the on like a huge scandal.
Speaker 5 (10:28):
But also it was a very good argument that he
made because she's making it sound like, oh, you woke
up at some fans house and hoboken, which and uh,
you know, it's like the big controversy, and making it
sound like he was banging somebody, and he's like it
was a crap and show like nobody gets laid after
a crap and show, you know what I mean, Like
we were we went to an after party we all
(10:49):
had a really good time. We left it one something
and he was still there. He's so nice, you know,
he was hanging out with all the listeners and talking
and taking pictures and just he's a really nice guy way.
You know, he drinks and parties and stuff. But I
don't even know that he would be able to get
it up. I mean, if he was able to get
it up to have sex with anybody, I mean, wow,
(11:10):
like take some of that DNA and inject it into
every man, because that's amazing. It's an amazing penis if
it can get hard after all that. So I think
his point was like it was a crap and show
not guilty. How dare you he.
Speaker 6 (11:23):
Also, I believe he said on the show, but we
saw him at south By Southwest and he was like, dude,
like it's so overblown. I was at like your after party.
There was like fifteen people there. It wasn't just like
me and like some girl. I was like I was
passed out and they were like all these people around me. Dude.
And I think he said it on the thing. It's
like it actually was not really as scandalous as like
we've been led to believe for a full year, you know, but.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
The shows were mentioned podcast that is exciting.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
I know, it felt like it was. You know, I'm
very happy. I'm very desperate for any sort of mentioned
or validation. So I was like, I was like, oh
my god, I've made.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
It well in all of this talking about manifestation. You
guys have been doing this podcast for how long?
Speaker 6 (12:04):
Fourteen years?
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Fourteen years?
Speaker 5 (12:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Incredible.
Speaker 6 (12:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
When it started, were there housewives that you were like,
if I could meet this one, I'd be so excited.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
And then you've met them, yep, yep. For me, it
was like, really the whole cast of of Rony originally,
I was such a big band right from the front,
right from the get go. So you know, over the
years we've met I think almost all of them. Is
there anyone the New York Housewives? The New York Housewives
I think we've met.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
I think, oh, I haven't met all of them, but
I've been a couple of them. I don't really have
that desire to meet them because I mean I make
fun of them, you know, And so we've learned that
most people don't really listen because we do a long show,
you know, we do it like an hour and a
half to two hours on each episode, so they're not
going to really listen, thank god. So when we have
(12:52):
met them, it's been nice. But they're really like they
are on TV, and they're just very like they'll talk
for five hours in a row and never know you're
in the room. You know they could be talking to
I mean, they're all very much like that. And I
love a crazy lady. Like my life is filled with
crazy ladies, so I don't need any more of that
in my life. I like leaving work at work.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (13:12):
Yeah, but everybody we've met has been really really nice
to us, and I love some of them now, like
Marge from Real Housewives in New Jersey and Dolores. You
know those two Jersey girls are always really nice to us. Yeah,
I love I love those ladies.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Diamond has a lot to say and.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
You're not into who Marjorie Delores marg Oh March. Yeah,
March is controversial.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
I love her. I think she's so funny.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
She's just a lot. She has like white gray hair
and like I think it's I think you have no platinum, right, Yeah,
I love it.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Margaret. Yeah, that March.
Speaker 5 (13:45):
Margaret, Yeah, the March. She's just yeah, listen, I need
John Rivers. Yeah, this is off the jump. This one's
for you jump.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
Very.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
She's just a lot and she I think that she
played a huge part in the whole Teresa versus Melissa thing.
Sick of her ass.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
I like her, you like her? Cro Marge? Yeah, anti
Melissa so same. Yeah, I'm anti Melissa. Y oh, I was.
I'm surprised. I thought would that take you would like Melissa,
But I'm normally anti Melissa. Teresa I think is wrong
in every situation, but I love her. I think she's
(14:25):
so funny.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
I think we learned as Ronnie should never be on
a jury of any sort.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
They won't take me. I skipped going to jury duty
for you. I refuse to go, and I was like,
arrest me, like I literally don't care. And then then
it was like Ronnie, you know, is a citizen. That's
really not cool. So I was like okay, So I
got called to jury duty and I went and I
waited all day, like you have to. They finally get
me up there and the guy's like, okay, there's like
the drug dealer allegedly or whatever in his cheap men's warehouse,
(14:51):
and not even men's wearhouse, like just some cheap, terrible suit,
you know, when they try to make you look cute.
Her court, he like clearly looked guilty. I was like,
you've got coke on your nose. And so they were
questioning the jury and they got to me and they're like, okay,
if someone was point one ounce over the legal limit
with cocaine, like possession of cocaine, and we were going
(15:11):
to charge them with distribution because they're over one point
one percent, would you vote guilty or not guilty? And
I said not guilty and they were like why. I
was like, cause you're not here to like nanny us
over like drug use, like drug use, like there's the
city's on fire, like there's so much going on in
this city. What do I care if a guy has
(15:32):
a tiny little bit over this much coke And they're
like dismissed, And I was like, damn it. Actually I
could have tried to get that guy off.
Speaker 6 (15:41):
I know.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
I was actually mad that I got cut from the jury.
I was like, this is one I want to be on, Like,
get off my ass. It's a little coke, Like I
pay taxes, it's not heroin. Jeez, I'm not giving it
to children get out of my personal life.
Speaker 6 (16:07):
I think that's the key to getting out of jury duty,
is that, like you actually have to be brutally honest
in a way that makes you might look bad to others.
Because I once was called in and they had this guy.
I don't know what what the issue was, but the
prosecution was like going down the line of the jurors
and saying, now, would you would you wait to hear
(16:28):
all the evidence and make a fair and balanced decision
on this person, or would you go with a knee
jerk reaction. You wouldn't judge this man just based on
how he looks. And everyone's like no, of course not no,
because everyone wanted to sound like a good citizen. And
it came to me, I go, well, he kind of
looks guilty.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
To me, So now we're learning how you get out
of jury duty.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
This is a good kind of looks guilty though, Like
there was based off very little, but I just was.
Speaker 5 (16:52):
Like, you know, okay, no, if you can't make the
efference and tell me your hair, I'm not going to
make the effort to give you a nod.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
Guilt. Don't have to win any awards for being a
good citizen right now. I just have to get off
of jury.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
Yeah, we all had to take a shower and brush
our teeth. Why didn't you?
Speaker 1 (17:12):
You're in trouble, are you guys upset that The New
Jersey Housewives are not coming back?
Speaker 5 (17:17):
I'm extremely pissed, are you? I'm very pissed.
Speaker 6 (17:20):
Yes, back eventually.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
No, they've got rid of everybody except Melissa, Theresa, and Dolores.
Speaker 6 (17:26):
This show like the fact that it's not on the
air right now.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
No, they got rid of everybody except three of the people.
I'm pissed. I think it's not fair, and they're saying
it's because it's toxic. Duh, why do you think we're
watching your channel? Like, what the hell?
Speaker 1 (17:40):
This islifting?
Speaker 5 (17:43):
We're fighting too much. And at the end they wouldn't
let them all film the reunion because it was so volatile,
and they had them filmed at this restaurant in Jersey
called Rails where they shoot, and they had them in
like different rooms, and so they were watching the TV
and fighting with the TV, and then Dolores had to
go back and forth because she's like the media. I
thought it was so funny and so the whole season
was classic. I can't believe they.
Speaker 6 (18:04):
Got I personally, I'm with Ronnie. I don't think it
needed to be put on pause. I still thought it
was a good show. I'm fine with them getting rid
of Rachel Fuda. I'm fine with them getting rid of
Danielle Cabral, Jennifer Aiden, although like in a weird way,
I enjoyed Jennifer Aiden for being so awful. I have
this thing where I really enjoy the terrible ones. But
(18:25):
but that being said, like I did not think they
should have gotten rid of Margaret. I think Margaret's a
great real housewife, and well.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
They didn't get rid of her. She said she wouldn't
come back if Louie came back, and they're going to
keep Louie. They're not going to get rid of Teresa.
Speaker 6 (18:37):
I thought that Margaret like fully properly stepped away. I'm
never on Teresa's side with anything, like I'm always I
think she's always dead wrong, but like she is a
more compelling reality star than Melissa. But I'm always on
Melissa's side. It's like a weird place to be in.
You're the one I know, but I'm okay with it,
like not being on the here right now, you know,
like I'm like, like, there's so much on Bravo. I
(19:00):
don't need to be like inundated. Maybe that's because we're
podcasters and since we have to cover all these shows,
I'm always like, whoaah, let's just have like one or
two at a time. I did like a little break,
you know.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
I just love it because the characters are so strong
on that and we do you know, we improvise the show,
so you know, we met, and like they all have
such fun muppet voices and their fights are so stupid.
I just love that show. I think it's so funny.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
What do you think of Rhode Island? Diamond seems like
she's been a little disappointed in it.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
No, I just the issue with Rhode Island is that
it came out the same time as Ladies of London,
and I don't think that people are giving Ladies of
London as much attention as they should have. Like, Ladies
of London was ten out of ten. It gave me
the feel of like old school.
Speaker 6 (19:46):
Housewives, so it was wonderful.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
It's just so good.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
And the fact that like I'm watching both of them
practically at the same time, but more people are talking
about Rhode Island on Yeah this like now I don't
even really want to watch, even though I am yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:59):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can see that.
Speaker 6 (20:01):
I think Rhode Allen's actually really really really good. And
I what what I've been telling people is that in
the beginning, I thought it was fine. I didn't think
it was like amazing. And I think now where we are,
we're about to go into the season finale, I think
it's actually like really really good. Like I'm really I
think it's gotten stronger every single week. Every I think
maybe because I'm getting more invested. I think they're more
(20:22):
comfortable on camera. I feel like they found the storylines
a little bit more. They've got all sorts of things happening.
There's funny accents, there's interesting people and interesting fights, fun silly,
stupid fights. You know, one woman go slam pig. You know,
it's like it's great, we're learning new new you know,
local vernacular. Slam pig is absolutely.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
You like it.
Speaker 5 (20:42):
Yeah, it took me a minute. I'd liked it at first,
but it was a little too like, let's try and
make a housewife show. You know, when the new when
new people try and do a housewives show, they've already
watched it for twenty years, so they're coming in and
they're trying to do everything they think they're supposed to.
And I think they did that a little and as
they should. But now that they're really starting to piss
each other off, that's when it gets good. Because everybody
(21:04):
comes in with this idea like I'm not everyone else
will look stupid, but I'm not going to look stupid.
And it takes usually a couple of years for it
to get under their skins so much that they're like,
oh ah, and then they finally show themselves. And this
one happened really quickly.
Speaker 6 (21:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:20):
I mean they're already just kind of losing losing themselves,
and they're bringing each other's dirt up so fast.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
And I also like the vibe of it. I like
the I like the geographical vibe of it. It's very
marint of time. It's like it's like everything's very seaside.
There's a sea wall, like that's a very big deal boating,
you know. I kind of think it's like a lovely
show to look at, weirdly enough, you know, like it's
like because it's either you're either there or you're like
(21:46):
in Franklin Lakes and it's like, I think I would
rather look at like the nice like Long Island sound
versus like the paramise mall.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (21:54):
So it's visually very appealing, especially bit of like maybe
Salt Lake City. It's like mall after strip mall out
to strip mall and maybe a mountain, yeaund.
Speaker 5 (22:03):
So they literally film on the side of the road
for that one.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
So before I came here, I actually lived in Boston,
and I know one of the guys on this season
of The Real Housewise.
Speaker 6 (22:11):
Worked in radio be Rich.
Speaker 5 (22:13):
It's Rich and I.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Used to work together. So when I first moved to Boston,
I was on a show called Mattie. But when I
lived in Boston, it's called Maddie in the Morning on
Kiss went to Wait. Rich was our producer.
Speaker 6 (22:24):
Uh, let me lea.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
I kind of want to call him right now.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
Don't do it.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Don't do it. You guys talk a lot of it
about Rich.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
I mean, of course he had a Frank Sinatra and I.
Speaker 6 (22:40):
That was Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I mean he's been doing that, by the way, forever
he needs to do He has been doing it forever.
He has been a Frank Sinatra cover singer for decades.
Speaker 5 (22:50):
But that said, he seems he's really cute and he
seems like a very good partner to his his girl.
But they're married, right.
Speaker 6 (22:57):
He's one of the better husbands.
Speaker 5 (22:58):
Actually, I think have a nice He seems like a
total sweetheart.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Yeah, I don't think. I don't know if I told
you guys this, but I think I actually did tell
you this. We went to a Celtics game and we
used to know the CMO of the Celtics so we
would get court side seats. It was amazing. We were
sitting underneath the hoop, and we invited Rich to come
with us because we had an extra ticket and we
all ate edibles before we went. Rich was not very
well versed in handling it all and spent the entire
(23:24):
night court side under the hoop freaking the fuck out.
You guys, this is so unsafe. They're gonna hit us.
I'm gonna hit with the basketball in my face and
my money maker. I can't sit here. He left the
seat for a solid half hour just panicking.
Speaker 6 (23:39):
He was gone, oh my gosh, it's like it's too
dangerous here. Meanwhile, two nights ago, at the next game,
one of the players just fully ran into Bloomberg at
the court side.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Was the best thing.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
Down and that was like true, Rich was right then
it is unsafe. I don't know how anybody sits ring side.
I just sports to me are just whatever you call it,
what it was for? Are you talking.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
About bodily fluid?
Speaker 5 (24:14):
All the balls flying and they're like flying right at
people's Like Jack Nicholson is very fragile. Why is he
sitting so close?
Speaker 6 (24:22):
The hockey games that are really that scary ones like
like that puck comes out your jad.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
There was a porstar that got her boom popped from
a hockey punk. What.
Speaker 6 (24:31):
Yeah, I went to a hockey game and a little
kid got hit by a puck and you had to
be medically removed.
Speaker 5 (24:35):
Oh my gosh, I'm like laughing. I'm like, suck it up.
Speaker 6 (24:42):
Do you take this life pain.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
I'm going to look up who it was because I'm
positive she got hit with a hockey puck at a
game and her implant popped.
Speaker 6 (24:49):
Wow, that's like dangerous. Back.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
I went to my first one two months ago, two
months three, whatever. It was fun, but like now I'm
going to be thinking about it, like that's how I
feel like baseball games.
Speaker 5 (25:04):
Oh, yeah, Oh, baseball games are scary too du over
there at this point, like I don't even want to
try to catch a ball in a baseball game because
these days, like the moment you catch a ball, you
wind up in some viral video where you happens. It's
like it's.
Speaker 6 (25:20):
Like you don't ever realize you're so excited. Next thing,
you know, you're gonna be all over the internet being
like look at this fucker.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Child would do it with zero hesitation.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
I would still from a child, like like, here's the ball,
like pickpocket them, like take their take their wallet while
they were distracted.
Speaker 6 (25:38):
Well, actually I would just catch the ball straight out
and I'd want to keep it, but they'll be like
a kid in your bar. I'm like, you would give
it up because I know it be on camera and
I know people will be like, look at that prick.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
Then I'm a good person on camera. There's a the
best video of the year with other than the cows
saving the little calf from the line, was at this
baseball game a guy threw a hat and a guy
caught it and he was like, oh my god, I
got the hat, and this older lady next room was
like and he was like, yeah, he immediately handed it
(26:10):
to She's like she started crying. It's like, this is
that's beautiful. Now that's a guy. I'd fucked that guy.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Oh you care about character? Yeah, that's nice.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
Also, I don't need anything else in the house. Like
if you brought somehow you got in the baseball game,
we'd be like, come on, man, we're they're trying to
give stuff away here, not collect.
Speaker 6 (26:29):
A more stunt. Yeah seriously, yeah, not do that, but
I can't.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
I hate that we disagree on that. I'm taking it.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Are you kidding?
Speaker 5 (26:37):
You're taking the hat?
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Hell?
Speaker 6 (26:38):
Yeah, yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Don't care if it's an old lady, a fucking infant. No, no,
Like I don't care, you know. And if they put
the camera on me, I'd wave like it's mine.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
This is how life is. Kid, When you're bigger than me,
you'll catch the hat.
Speaker 8 (26:56):
Yeah that is mine, not bigger than you. I'm stronger
than you, and I'll always win. I think a little
Mommy Dearest action in there.
Speaker 6 (27:04):
We have become really judging about those those sports like that,
like the they the sports camera things, you know, Like
it's like it's like every single week there's like a
new video that goes around like and look at this person. Yeah,
they picked up a program from the floor and didn't
give it to a child. And it's like and I
find myself being like, yeah, this is terrible, but part
of me is like maybe we should, Like I think.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
It's enough, Like those people who got caught cheating on
the camera, you know, on the big screen, leave them alone,
like they're not fucking they can you cheat? And like, yeah,
come on those cameras everywhere, why are we cheering this on?
Let the lady cheat?
Speaker 1 (27:42):
I mean Jesus, the one guy that you said you
would hook up with would be the dude who gave
the old lady a hat. Because personality and like morals,
it's really important to character is important to you. Yet
you're the same person who loved diamond and her d uIP.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
Diamonds well, but she gave us her information. I thought
that was kind of whether it was.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Or not TVD you are, I like it, your duality
in a person, all these different things. So I've kept
you for a very long time, and I love you
guys for staying so long. But if people want to
hear your podcast, where can they find it?
Speaker 6 (28:13):
Anywhere? You listen to a podcast. So whether it's iHeart
or Apple or Spotify podcast, is there. Watch Watch. Yeah,
we have a website, Watchcrappins dot com and uh on Instagram,
we're at Watch What Crappens, and Ronnie's at Ronnie Caraman,
I'm at Ben Mandelker, and you should give all of
us a big old follow.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
I just noticed that the Pope is waving at us
from that computer.
Speaker 6 (28:37):
Hilarious.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Least religious person probably on the entire show. But I
really like this Pope, so I just keep them there.
Pope Leo, we're kind of cool. Thank you guys for
joining me. Congratulations on your iheartwar. Thank you, and I
hope next time you come back. Also really quickly. Your
show is great. I know we said it earlier, but
(29:00):
it was great. It was a cabaret they put together.
It was basically a talent show audition with all of
the housewives, all played by Ben and Ronnie. Really quickly,
who's the easiest one to portray or who's your favorite
one to portray?
Speaker 6 (29:15):
From me?
Speaker 5 (29:15):
Derinda hilarious and she's always just going off on everybody.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
From the traders.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Wow, yeah, that's why. Well then we didn't get like
much Dorinda because the traders cut them off of drinking.
They only let them have like two drinks today. So
she was very much like her, are you let's talk
about this very rationally. It's like no, yeah, you're yeah,
you want to see her?
Speaker 6 (29:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (29:44):
Really will excuse me, it's something you think I'm a murderer.
Speaker 6 (29:47):
Prove it.
Speaker 5 (29:49):
Now, I'll do it to your face.
Speaker 6 (29:52):
Yeah. By the way, I don't want to hear from
Bethany Frankel about the reality racketing about they're letting people
get drunk. Because they were leting people get drunk, we
would have seen the real direnda on the traders. Yeah,
but I think for me, I think it's a tie
between Countess Luanne and Ramona because I love going into
Countess Lune's voice. We're just like hello everyone, I just go,
I just lower my voice. But I find myself when
I'm walking around like my kitchen, going into Ramona voice
(30:14):
without even realizing, I'm like, WHOA, where's the knife? I
can't find my knife? What's going on right now? Tie?
Speaker 5 (30:19):
Upset?
Speaker 6 (30:21):
This is just like how my life?
Speaker 5 (30:22):
Why is the knife slot? Just just because fork slot
not just much thinner than fork just sink.
Speaker 6 (30:31):
It doesn't make sense.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Okay, who's your least favorite house wife?
Speaker 5 (30:44):
And then I will let you go, Oh who's my
least my My fake nemesis over the years has been
Kyle Richards from Beverly Hills. She makes me crazy. She's
such a victim and she's such a stir I think
she starts everything on that show. And then she's like,
everybody hates you. Everybody said it, everybody said it every year.
(31:06):
It makes me crazy. Now she has this like lesbian lover,
which is awesome. You know, it's like the one thing
that would make me like her. And she's like, I'm
not talking about our relationship on camera because I like
the closet or whatever. But then she's the one who
brought it onto the camera in the first place, and
now she has this we know she's in the relationship.
She said she's not going to be in the relationship
because she wants to protect her partner. But then she's
(31:29):
still coming on like I think maybe I still want
to get back together with my husband. She's like doing
this whole other fake storyline. I'm like, but you already
admitted to the other story, Like how stupid are we? Yeah?
I see I get too mad.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
I I appreciate it my fake nemesis and.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
My husband Kyle, though I'm just like, who's yours that
I hate?
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yeah? I know you really don't like Melissa, but I
think that that's just because we encounter her most.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
She's just like the fucking I can't.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
Yeah, I think that the cardinal said the housewife is
those that are just like forgettable. Like you can be
like evil and problematic, and that's okay for me, but
like if you're just forgettable, I'm like, why are you here?
So it's perfect that the person that I decided they're
the most forgettable, I've now forgotten. So then I was like, okay,
let me let me think of it. Is I think
actually a really good contender for if not my least
(32:18):
favorite like down there, but probably my least favorite. I
think I would say Brinn Woodfield from the New Roney Terrible.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
She's already gone.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
They kicked her off.
Speaker 6 (32:28):
Well, I think that she was fired. She said that
she quit, But like we were told by someone in
production a long time ago that anytime a housewife says
that they've quit, they've been fired. So I don't know,
So we won't see with BRNN, But I thought what
I didn't like about her was that she I didn't
feel like she brought anything interesting to the table. And
on top of everything else, she also did something incredibly,
(32:50):
incredibly toxic on the show that was like so bad
it like may have destroyed ol of Ronnie. So I
just didn't you do? It was something about sexual assaul
and she had accused Uba of I think being like
not a good friend were because of a sexual.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
Like yes, I thought you're saying and I thought you
were saying Uber.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
She was fighting with Uba and she said, how could
you treat me like this when you know I've been raped?
And I told you I was raped and now you're
you know, now you're not giving And she was like,
you didn't tell me you were raped, and she's like, yes,
I did, and now you're still treating me like this,
And so she made Uba look terrible and then Uba,
of course you know, and then she never did. She
(33:35):
was just lying to make all this stuff up. I mean,
I'm not saying lying about the assault, but to make
somebody look bad.
Speaker 6 (33:42):
People really felt like she was playing a card to
win a stupid argument, and it was just like two
gross of a thing.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
I remember that scene and I remember posting that night
this is the end of because.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
It was it was one.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Of those things that went way too far. I was
shocked that they heared it because I just felt like,
how do you come back from this?
Speaker 5 (34:02):
Like and it was crazy because they got rid of
the other New York cast for being too toxic and everything.
How that went in there last season and then they
did the same thing, I mean not the same thing,
but they got and they're not canceled. I mean it's
still I think three of them coming back with a
bunch of nubes.
Speaker 6 (34:20):
So I think she was she just was. She was.
She was the worst almost even before that happened to
I have to say she just.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
Was a lot, but not in the way you know
how like they make it seem like you're not supposed
to call women a lot because no, she deserves it, okay,
Like it's just like girls go away and manufact I
thought of my person, Heather gay hater.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
I'm getting there, I'm getting there.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
With you for sure.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
To me, is just boring, Like I love that the
biggest sin of all these boring well you know what
makes it worse, Like it's okay to be a boring housewife,
but she pretends to give so much and it's still like, Okay,
Like I get it, you're not a Mormon anymore.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
You left the church. What else?
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Like she wrote a book about not being Mormon anymore
and stuff like that, and this is all she talks about.
Mary was in my book who Gives a Fuck? Marry
didn't even read the book. Like, why do we care
about this woman? I don't understand it. It really bothers me.
And she thinks that she's like I really feel like
she thinks that that's her show.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
M Yeah, I can do without it.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
This is one of the curses of being a popular
real housewife is that sometimes you start to you start
to see yourself as the star of the franchise. And
we've seen like like big stars of these shows start
to believe their own hype, and we are seeing it
with Heather. I still like Heather, but I but she
is she has I think come down a long way.
I think that she is really like she is being
(35:48):
now more manufactured than ever before, and I think that
she thinks that the stuff that she's manufacturing is really great.
I would love Bethany Frankel to be back not And
I think Bethany Frankel is a toxic, awful person, but
she's she gets on TV and she just bears it
all and like that's all I want, That's all I wanted.
Speaker 5 (36:04):
And also Heather does it in a way you know,
she's mean, like she is not just inventing her own storyline.
She's like, I'm going to take this person down this year,
and then she just starts making shit up and she
gets everybody to do it, and by the end, the
audience is falling for her ship every time, and it
just makes me nuts, Like they keep coming for Lisa Barlowe.
Would that woman do but be crazy? You know? And
(36:26):
they're like, she's an ego maniac. Yeah, duh, yes exactly,
Like stop messing with the recipe, Heather.
Speaker 6 (36:34):
My only exception to the rule that I don't like
when people manufacture a persona for the season is when
they're bad at it and can't keep it up, like
Shannon Badoor. So Shannbadoor every season will be like I'm
just I'm really happy. I'm just I'm a worry on myself.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
She's like.
Speaker 6 (36:53):
Watching you fall apart and watching her like not be
able to maintain a facade is just the best every
single time for me.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
I keep telling Diamond, at some point I will watch
one of these seasons.
Speaker 5 (37:04):
Yeah, you know, you're going to get the flu one
day and you're going to be stuck inside and you'll
turn on the Peacock and just watch. That's how we
all get into it.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
She has tried to like sit down and just watch
this argument.
Speaker 5 (37:14):
It's like, it's like Jesus. It's like Jesus, you can't
force it on somebody. They have to find it themselves
or be on death row. But eventually they'll find it.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
I feel about The Housewives the way that Diamond feels
about dinosaurs.
Speaker 6 (37:26):
I'm like, well, like a single gateway episode.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
I was going to ask you guys, like what is the.
Speaker 6 (37:32):
Gateway episode to get people into the.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
I got into it from being sick and Orange County
was playing one day on a marathon and it was
season one, like nothing happens on that season, and I
was like, wow, I don't know, I don't know why
I like it, but I watched the whole thing and
then watch everyone. There's something about it. You get into it.
Speaker 6 (37:52):
I always think of like the christening on New Jersey.
That episode was just so famous. I think, like Saw
Like City, the season finale of season four is the
best season valley of all time, Like nothing has ever
will ever beat it.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
It was it was like, I think those are amazing episodes,
but for Gateway Drugs, it's too much because people will
watch it are so intense that you're like, why do
people watch this? It's just like people.
Speaker 6 (38:16):
I think getting arrested Jenshaw getting arrested is a good
thing because that's a riveting episode. It's a riveting episode,
and then also watching on the next half of the season.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
That's true. I think the ones that really get people
into it are the petty fights that made it famous
in the first place. It's like, wait a minute, I've
been sitting here waiting at this lunch for two hours,
Like I wasn't two hours later, I'm like maybe fifteen minutes,
like you are two hours lay, and I have the
text to preve it. Oh really, you're gonna put pone.
(38:47):
And then it becomes the thing because you're like, I
know this girl who makes me wait two hours and
then acts like it's she's gassighting me. That's what gets
you into it because it's it's like my mother treats
me like that, you know something, something gets in your
head like, yeah, somebody treats me like this. In real life, Real.
Speaker 6 (39:05):
Housewives of New York has two like exceptionally famous vacation. Uh,
Like it's like to each one's like two or three episodes.
Season three, there was something that's called Scary Island when
they go down to the Caribbean and they have this
catastrophic trip and it is still like this now, like
twelve years on. It is like, is the high point
(39:26):
for all vacations on not just Real Housewives, like for
any reality show. But there's one famous one that's called
I'm Sorry December Berkshire County or whatever, and like it's
you watch it. It is like a one act play.
If you don't watch the Real Housewives, you could sit
there and watch us and be fascinated. It is like
it is is probably the best edited.
Speaker 5 (39:48):
That's a Durma episode.
Speaker 6 (39:57):
And we just rewatched that again also and like not
only not is a hold up like it you feel
like you're watching theater and.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
What's your resignment?
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Have to add one? Season nine, I think season nine
of Rony the Bronx Tail o.
Speaker 6 (40:15):
You fool direct.
Speaker 8 (40:17):
Yeah, why did you shut up with your easy pass vagina?
Speaker 5 (40:21):
You need an easy pass out of your vagina? In
ton of Vagiant to Morgan.
Speaker 6 (40:27):
Although I think she said that in the Hampton's I
don't think she said that.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
She said, yes, yes, okay, she goes, Oh that's who
she said.
Speaker 6 (40:37):
Not well, bitch, Yeah, you want to know how I'm doing?
Not well? Based by the way. By the way, also,
of course dinner Party from Hell Season one, Real House
House at Beverly Hills, Alison, I mean, your.
Speaker 5 (40:49):
Husband will never emotionally fafill you.
Speaker 6 (40:51):
Brilliant. It's brilliant. It's more brilliant than you can imagine.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
Okay, yeah, it's great.
Speaker 6 (40:57):
It's ten out of ten.
Speaker 5 (40:59):
You want to see people you don't understand how DNA
created this thing. This is the Housewives, it's not the.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
Well.
Speaker 5 (41:06):
There are giraffes on Ladies.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Of London for real, and there are some fossils on
all of the shows. You just did the spinning ninosaur
from Jurassic If you're only listening and not watching, all right, guys,
I love you so much, Thank you so much for
coming in. It's been a fun weekend hanging out with
you and a really fun episode that's actually two episodes
because we talked to you for so long. So thanks
(41:29):
for all Watcher Crappens wherever you get your podcasts. Thanks guys,
Enjoyment and there you have it and Diamond. This season
(41:56):
of Love Island, how invested are we in it?
Speaker 3 (42:00):
I say maybe seventy percent at this point. Okay, it's
it's grown in the past week. We've made it to Casa,
so now you know it's gonna start getting like really
good hopefully, but it doesn't compare to the past two
seasons of USA.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
And then there was a question that I had because
I laughed along, like I knew what you guys were
talking about, but I had no idea what is the
plant door? Because we said you're not an animal person,
they're also not really a people person. Yeah, you would
have picked the plant door. I'm inferring. I have a
guess about what that means. Can I guess what it means?
Speaker 5 (42:33):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (42:33):
That like you had to pick a door if you
liked animals. People are plants, yep, and you're behind the
plant door. Yeah, so but you don't like plants.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
I don't like.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
Plants, So the very first episode, they had them stand
behind a door, and it was just like they asked
different questions or whatever, and each person, depending on what
your answer was, you stood behind a specific door. This
specific question was are you a dog person, a cat
person or a plant person? Oh, and there was one
guy who stood at the plant door and nobody else,
(43:02):
Like when he opened it, there.
Speaker 4 (43:03):
Was nobody on the other side.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
So people were cracking up.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
But my thing was like, I guess I would have
stood at the plant door too, but I don't really
I don't. I don't want to take care of plants either,
Like I don't really care, you know, Like I wouldn't.
I wouldn't go out and buy plants because I don't
think that I would give it the care that it needed,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (43:20):
Fair enough so, but like he explains later on in
the season, he's.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
Like, no, I actually do have plants in my house
and I actually take care of them.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (43:28):
But people were like, who would stand behind a plant door?
Speaker 1 (43:32):
He would? I mean no, I'd be behind the dog
door for sure. See what people were saying, dogs and plants. Yeah,
I love dogs and plants, but I have plants. I
don't have a dog so he should be at the
plant door. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
A lot of people were like, I'd never stand by
the plant door. It was even at the cat door. Yeah,
there were a few people at the cat door.
Speaker 1 (43:49):
Very weird. Oh yeah, interesting. I know we've talked about
this at some point, but uh, I find men who
live alone and have cats to be an odd species.
Speaker 3 (43:59):
Very weird. One of the guys this season he has
a cat named Lola. He won't let people forget about it.
I'm like, okay, weirdo.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
He probably thinks it's a flex like all the girls
are gonna love this me while the girls are like
this dude has a.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
Yeah, and he also is obsessed with one direction, so
every scene of his they try to throw in a
one direction song.
Speaker 1 (44:16):
It's is he dead for the ladies?
Speaker 6 (44:18):
Well?
Speaker 4 (44:18):
No, he has a romance that people have questions about too.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
It's interesting. There are some things same sex couples. No
all men and women.
Speaker 3 (44:27):
Ah, I said never, but that's a lie. There were
two girls who explored in.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Season five. I'm astounded that you can keep all it straight.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
I don't remember seasons of like my favorite TV shows.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
Really, Oh, I know them all, but well, I think
I think it's I think it's just like you remember
specific people. So I remember this girl, and I know
that was the first season I watched. That was season five, Okay,
but yeah, of all of the seasons that I've watched,
for all of the franchises in the different countries, this one,
season five was the only one with girls exploring each other.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
I think it only.
Speaker 3 (45:02):
Lasted for like a day.
Speaker 5 (45:03):
It was that big of a we're just born.
Speaker 6 (45:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
They were trying to get back at a guy who
had in the middle love triangle.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
It's very weird. Okay, I'm sure. I'm sure he was
just so scalded. Yeah, sure, Like no, not with each other,
and it was like, okay, whatever. So if there was
a door that you would stand behind, because that's the
thing that you're most interested in, what would it be
out of those three No, like your own door. Sports?
Speaker 7 (45:28):
Maybe a sports door, yeah, okay, specific sports football, f
O O T f U, T f oot Okay, it varies.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
It depends on the time of the year. You know,
right now, I'm really into FIFA, so fut I'm not
really into baseball right now. That that would have been
a typical answer, but I'm not into it right now
because the Mets suck this season. I only care about
basketball during the playoffs, like after like the second half
of the season, after the All Star weekend, so like
(46:02):
it varies for me. I'll be into tennis in about
two weeks. Oh you know, I love tennis more than
two weeks.
Speaker 4 (46:08):
But you know stuff like that WNBA right now? Cool?
Speaker 1 (46:12):
Okay, solo sports. If you are a gentleman who is
into ladies, listening to this podcast right now and you
think you would also open that sports store, be behind
the sports store, I should say, how are Diamond? Where
