Speaker 1 (00:04):
Sauce on the side. My ambizzal line is poppin'.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
You know what, I'm gonna wear mine.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
You should wear yours. You were supposed to.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I am, you.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Know, I'll tell you what. So I went to the
doctor like a couple of weeks ago at this point
when you hear it'll be a couple weeks ago, maybe
like a week ago. And she said I lost eight
pounds wow, which I was super excited about. So people
have been asking me if I'm taking the shot. I
am not, uh huh, not above it, but I'm not
doing it. I think it's my bizzal line.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Let me because.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
You know what a pain in the ass. It is,
like you can't just snack. You gotta take them out,
which is a pain in the ass in the first place.
Then you got a brush and floss and then put
them back in, and it's just like it's too much.
So I just don't eat while they're in unless it's
like time to eat.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Well you know what, Okay, Yeah, I don't think it
really stopped me much when I had it. I think
maybe for like I don't know, not the entire time
you eat with them in. No, just pop them out, bang,
you know, and.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Then put them back in or you just came out
from the rest of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
No, put them back in. But like it didn't bother me.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I feel ridiculous with him and I feel like I'm
an eleven year old again. Why are you gagging? What's
on the mic?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
There's something on there. It's nasty. Ew.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I just wish you want to move mics, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I just wish that we would take better care of
the things around us.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
You know who I think takes the best care of
stuff around here? Kiki. I love Keekye speak. He is
one of our lovely I don't even know what you
would call her, but she is like always cleaning things
and takes pride in it and does a really good job.
And it like, clearly she is not allowed in these
studios because whoever is in charge of maintaining these is disgusting.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
It's ridiculous, so gross, it's horrible.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I can hear myself with.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, I heard it. Okay, I have a story.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Wow, unexpected, I'm ready.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I feel really bad. Okay, So I don't think you
feel bad. I do. But growing up, my grandma used
to make me this very quick, Like now that i'm
looking back on it, I feel like it was a
struggle meal. Like, ah, everybody's tired from work. I'm just
gonna make this really quickly. Whatever. It was like a casserole,
but it was ground beef with like some type of

(02:15):
like tomato sauce and noodles. And she would bake it
and she would put a little bit of cheese on
the top just to give it that like crusty top.
But like that was it, okay, plain simple. She hasn't
made it in like fifteen twenty years. The other day,
my dad and I were talking and I was like,
remember when Grandma used to make that food? Blah blah blah.

(02:37):
I loved it, So we're talking about it. He's like
obsessing over it as well. So we brought it to
her and I was like, Grandma, can you please make
me that one of these days? Like oh, so she's
like yeah, of course. Grandma didn't want to tell me
that she didn't remember the recipe. So she makes it
and I'm so excited for it, and it was not

(02:59):
what it used to Did you say that? I was like,
what is all of this cheese? There was so much
cheese on the top and throughout, and you know, I'm
not really a cheese person, Like, so I was like,
what is this? And then but then I felt bad
because I was like, oh, maybe she doesn't remember. But
then I realized, like my mom was like co piloting

(03:19):
the whole thing, and she never really like remembered the
damn thing in the dish in the first place, Like
it wasn't a thing that she remembered. So I'm like, hey,
you know, if you didn't remember, you could have asked
me and I could have told you what was in
it better, Yeah, bonding experience, we could have done it together. No,
And then you know, I felt bad, but it's like

(03:42):
I kind of remembered my childhood moment.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
It ruined your childhood that you as a thirty childhood moment.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
It was something that I remembered, and we're gonna have
how you do.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
It again and you cook with her and you can
get back your childhood experience.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
With But also, you know, I didn't feel really I
didn't feel that bad because like you didn't she no,
because my grandmother is a shit talker, like a professional
shit talker.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
She watches Our Lord and Savior Judge Judy.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yes, that lady, but like so I'm like, hey, what
is this? You know? But then I did feel bad
because of saying it like that. I'm like, oh, you tried.
She's nice to me.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Do you cook? Are you a cooker? What's your what's
your like? Go to a thing that you Let's say
you had a date and you wanted to impress him.
What are you cooking for him?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I used to make this chicken. I haven't made it
in a while. Maybe I should try to brush up
on it. But it's little mini wings that I would
bake as if it were like I would season it
like it was like a rotisserie, but like with onions
and peppers and stuff, and let it simmer. It was
really good, would turn into somewhat of a stew. Very good,

(04:55):
very good.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Okay, what do you call it?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Diamonds chicken? I don't know. I just cook a lot
of things, like specifically from scratch because I was allergic
to it. Well, I am allergic to a lot of things.
So like one time I made fiduccini alfredo from scratch
and it was actually really good, but I was shocked
at how much cream goes into it. That's the thing.
That's what stops me from cooking because I'm like, but that's.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
The beauty of cooking, right, because then you can narrow
down the ichy ingredients. Yeah, and you can eliminate them.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, or rice and peas with the coconut milk and
not with like water. That is very good. But then again,
why do I want to put coconut milk in that?
But it tastes really good.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Because it tastes better.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah, oh my god, so good. I'm a breakfast.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Maker, though, meet, so I can make a good breakfast.
I'm really good with keishe That's why I've made keod
I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, make a good keisha
a really good stuff. Pepper is one specific type of
Indian chicken and I don't even know what it's called.
I just it's my mom's chicken. It's really good. She
taught me how to make it. I could do that.
And a twice baked potato. I think that's my super

(06:00):
That is good. I need you to make that for me. Oh,
I've never had one.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, we should do like bake offs.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
In the room. But who do you trust everyone's food? Actually,
you know what, in this room, I would trust everyone
I would trust Scary. I would trust Danielle.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
I love Danielle, but I don't trust people with cats.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
You right, Okay, I'm sorry. I would definitely trust Elvis,
and you wouldn't trust Elvis.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I don't know that man can cook.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I'm not even like he's not listening to this, so
there would be no reason to lie. He is a really,
really good cook.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
The issue is is I don't take anyone around here seriously,
so it would it would shock me if like Scary
never ever ever. Okay, Elvis maybe because he does cook
a lot, but like I don't know something about him,
I would be like, nah, you didn't really care enough.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Do you want to hear the boogiest text he sent
me over the weekend? I was dying laughing.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Oh god.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
It was like he asked me what I was doing?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Where is this?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
And I told him? And he's He said he was
looking for dishes? And I said, what kind of dishes
are we sarching for? He said, got some fresh bigs yesterday.
I'll probably do simple grilled figs and ricotta bruschetta appetizers
and a steak and some corn. Something easy, please, I said, figs,

(07:28):
What the hell are you talking about fresh figs. Okay,
he should.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
I'm not going to say this on here before someone
steals my idea. Okay, we'll talk about it off the air.
Oh wow, yep, whoa, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
I told you what I want to do with him.
What I have to convince him to do this? What
I want to follow him around doing normal things that
like we all do, like Elvis Fly's economy.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
He would melt, Are you kidding me? He would melt.
First of all, going with him too to get the
coffee the other day?

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Oh yeah, how was that? If you don't know what
she was talking about the other day? Elvis, realize that
every time we get coffee from this specific place, somebody
here goes and gets a coffee. That somebody is ninety
nine percent of the time. Andrew, he used to be Sam,
Sam is out. So now it falls onto Andrew's shoulders
to get it. And Elvis was like, absolutely not, I'm
gonna get the coffee, at which point Nate and I

(08:22):
were like, this is the worst idea.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
You called it.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
You should not go do this. He did it. Diamond
went with him. How'd that go? First of all, he
came back and didn't have a coffee for himself.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Right, Okay, So first of all, let's not say Diamond
went with him. He told me to go with him.
It was like I raised my hand, okay, because I
knew how this was gonna end. So first of all,
he stood outside of the coffee shop for like five minutes,
just standing there like, yeah, so what should we do?

(08:54):
And I'm like coffee, what do you mean? He's like,
you should get in a care and just go somewhere.
So I was like, you know what, fine, whatever, I
really would too.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
He would just leave.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Yeah, But then he couldn't think of anything that was
open and funt for us to go to. And I
was like god, because it was like six no, not
thank god. We were gonna go to the store and
go shopping.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Yeah, I scare his card.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
I'm like, yeah, let's go do something fun. What is
fun for me? Shopping? Okay. Then he's like, let's go
to the bank, and I'm like, we don't need to
go to the bank.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
He goes to the bank every time he goes out.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
And the ungodly amount of money that he took out
was like I was like, oh wow, like for a
typical person, everyday American one hundred bucks or something like
that you take out if you need cash, not thousands
of dollars. He said it on the air, so it's
not like it's a secret three thousand dollars. I'm like,
hanry some sir, are you kidding?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
I always tell him I'm pretty sure that he's just
planning to like fake his death and escape somewhere.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Yeah. Yeah, he has to do, yeah because it will
so all.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Power to him. Good for him if he does.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yeah, But like what like to buy coffee? And then
we get there and he's like, first of all, you
know the setup in this place? Yes, So there's like
a little island Basically when you walk in, you have
to walk around it to place your order. One side
is where you actually place the order. The other side

(10:23):
is where you go to wait for your order to
be given to you. Okay, he walked to the side
where he's waiting for the order to be given to him.
He's he's standing there. I'm like, look down, there's no kiosk.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I love it. I just want to record him doing
every day thing.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Oh god, that would be he needs metaglasses, That's what
I think.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Like, no, we need you know what we need? We
need to see medical like through his medaglasses. Like you
know how they put GoPros on puppies, yes, and you
see like what their day is Like. I want to
see what.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
His day is like. And I want to hear his
thoughts because he's like gonna mumble it. You know, he's
not gonna say it out loud. I live for it.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
I think your favorite is when he gets annoyed about something.
He's like, piece of shit.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yes, it's the funniest shit on the planet. To me.
I love when he's mad.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
That one makes me laugh too. The piece of shit
makes me laugh real hard.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
And when he's like oh, I'm like, yes, give me more.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Oh my god. So I was talking about this this
week with one or weekend, I should say, with one
of my friends, about like what a hypocrite I am
when it comes to men versus women and what I
accept for women versus what I tear from men. And
I've realized, like I'm really hard on men. Because they
were talking about this guy that they were all into,
and I pulled up his page and the first thing
I saw was him sitting in front of a microphone

(11:39):
and I was like, immediate, no, absolutely, are you kidding me.
I've never been more disgusted. Don't know anything about this man.
He might be glorious. A man sitting in front of
a microphone who is not on the radio. Why do
I hate it so much? Well, I think it's because
of where we work, right, Like I'm behind I'm behind
a microphone.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Right, But but you see the fakers all the time, right,
And I think this is how to me. I've been
like a friend of mine saw a guy thought he
was cute and.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
She was like, oh, he works where you work?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
And I was like, really does he work? Show me
his page? And he was just a guy who would
come up with someone and took a picture near a
microphone and made it seem like this is where he
worked and stuff. And I'm like, that is what bothers
me because I don't trust any guy that's sitting behind
a microphone. I don't. I'm like I've seen this so

(12:27):
many times, Like when I used to work at the
UH at Power, like so many people would come in
like basically like interning for someone else and they would
be having full photo shoots Like yes, absolutely not, I
trust no one who has it. And then also sorry going.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
To someone else's car, right, like a really nice or something,
and you pose in front of it. I remember I
was out with the guy once and he asked me
to take a picture in front of something that wasn't his,
and I was like, immediate, note absolutely never again.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Uh adhd adhd adhd adhd. I'm circling the drain right now.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
I'm shut to get you off.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
So we were talking about the photo shoot and men
in front of.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
A microphone shoes damn forgot. Oh even if someone were
like if somebody worked here, works here with us, and
I saw them on an app behind a microphone, immediate, no, relax,
like calm down, Like people don't need to know. There's
a level of privacy that I think men don't give

(13:33):
a fuck about. They don't have to think about it.
I get it, But like, I don't want you to
know where I work. Why would I post myself with
a Elvis Duran in the morning show Mike flag right?

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Absolutely not. I so obviously like none of that stuff
is in my profile pictures ever, because I'm not sure
it's the most interesting thing about me. Not that your
profile pictures should be the most interesting thing about you,
but it isn't my bio, like says co host Elvis
Rancho on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
If you were on a dating oh absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
I'll never get on a dating app because I don't
ever want to disclose any of that stuff. And I
also would never want someone to know that I was
Literally I'm like, I know that's what everyone does now,
and it's like weirder to actually meet somebody in person,
but I just couldn't.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
I couldn't know. It's I told you I had.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
A horrible experience when I first moved to Bostin. He
got about that, Yeah, like never again. There one was
a stalker. One told me he wanted to see his
jiz dripping off my eyelash sic. Sickening, and the other
one sent me like twenty four dozen long stumm roses
on my first day, where it definitely looked like I
sent it to myself.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Like that was kind of cute.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
No, no, not my first day, Like maybe at the
end of the first.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Week, if you liked him, it would have been cute.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I didn't know him, so there was no chance one
way or another.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
He was trying to be sweet. Also, yeah, no, you
know how.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
I feel about that.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
But see you didn't like him.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
I didn't know him, but that made me not want
to get to know him because I was like, now
I'm embarrassed because somebody sent me all these roses at
work and it's my first day and everybody here already
hates me, and now I'm walking out with all these
flowers when they're like nobody likes and nobody knows you.
What the fuck is that? It looks like I said
on myself, his name is Isaac, though he was very nice,
Thanks for the fun that name?

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Why no, just no hard No Isaac's or like Abraham's
or like names that are in the Bible. Okay, you'll
never live up to it. Let it go, you know, so.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Like instant x names in the Bible.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
I can't you can't. You know this is going to
turn into men.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
In the Bible instant ick, sitting in front of a microphone,
instant it. Yeah, putting where you work in your bio
instant ick or no.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
It depends. I think you could be vague, you know.
It's just more of a security thing for me, Like
you don't need to tell people men act like women
are crazy, but they're not crazy. They're not as crazy
as these men make it seem because they would be
on alert not to put certain things in their bios,
Like why would you tell oh, I work at the

(16:06):
auto zone on thirty four Street, Like why for somebody
to show up.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Of getting assaulted men?

Speaker 2 (16:12):
I don't really hear like that.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
I mean, how often does a girl show up at
a man's job or woman show up at a man's
job and like assault him. I'm not saying it never happened.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
I know a lot of the stories.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
First of all, who are you hanging out?

Speaker 2 (16:23):
I know a lot of people who have showed up
to their boyfriend's ex boyfriend's jobs.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Or guy right off the bat well.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
There are a lot of girls who assume that these
guys are their boyfriends. This happened to my friend who's
a woman, but like, yeah, a guy came in there
losing his shit right next to all of her co workers.
He don't care.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
That's my worst nightmare. It's insane, worst nightmare, terrifying. I
was dating somebody and we broke up, and he was
not happy about the breakup, and he said he was
gonna come visit the city because we did not live
in the same city. And I was like, no, you can't,
and he said, you don't own Boston. Then I was
like to Shay, I don't, but you cannot come visit me.

(17:03):
And he didn't have my address at the time, and
I was like, you don't even know where I live.
So like, freaking relax, buddy, He's like, well, I know
where you work.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
I said, mother, nope, you do. This is no no, no, no, no, nope, nope,
no hate it.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
I think that's a really tough thing about what we
do and where we are employed. Is my sister listens
to the show every day because her biggest thing is
I want to know that you're at work and that
you made it safely. Even though she has my location
in seventeen different ways, she wants to hear my voice
on the air here if I have a cold, like whatever.
At the same time, anybody can do that, and anybody
can know where we are. That's creepy.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Or like when when someone's absent and people are like,
where's this person? I'm like, that freaks me out. It
does nic It is amazing, right, and I understand Karen concerned. No, no, no, no,

(18:00):
no no, it's it's the thought of like let me
let me rephrase don't clip this, but like, our listeners
care about us, right, they mean, well, but it's the
fact that someone who's not a good person could also

(18:20):
be listening and say, well, this person hasn't been there.
I wonder why and blah blah blah. Like they also
could pick up on things, you know what I mean.
It's the evil that makes me nervous. It freaks me out,
It really does. Oh God, Like can you imagine.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Amie out Moore. I usually like go about life not
really freaked out about things, but I'm like, no, we
need to be aware.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Like if you don't post Brandon on your Instagram for
a long time, people like they broke up.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
It's terrifying to him too. He's like, did we I
just need to know. But it is listening to this,
it's like what the hell?

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Like it's like, maybe we just impost each other. Like
the world is scaring the shit out of me. Let's
just put it like that.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
I know people spend so much time like curating what
their Instagram page looks like and having a theme and
colors and you know whatever, so when you come to
a page, you know what it is. I looked at
my page the other day and I was like, this
is sheer chaos.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
It's chaos.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
It's like Curtis Leewah ranting about God knows what, me
on vacation, me starting a fight between Elvis and Alex.
Like it's just there's no type of like continuity or
theme to it. No, but that's also just it's my life.
That is what my life is.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
It's a millennial in you what does that mean? Gen
Z came around and started, oh, your page has to
look like this, and like there has to be a photo,
a video, a slide and blah blahh Like who cares?
This is why I don't really post anymore. I'm like,
nobody cares.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
They don't care. Here's the other thing. They spend so
much time, which we talk about all the time. They
spend so much time trying to make it look like
their life is a certain way and not actually living
that life. What do I care? If you have a
light pink filter on every single thing and it's going
in the order needs going, Is there something that I
want to look at or not?

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Mostly not, but cool?

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Yeah. And now these Instagram and all this stuff, TikTok
has like adopted these things just based off of opinion,
you know what I mean, And.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Like, I don't like, oh.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
If you're if you don't, if your videos don't look
like this, you want it to look a specific way
when someone it's at your profile and blah blah blah,
and it's just like, why are we doing this? Why
can't we just go back to when we just used
to post shit and it was cool or it wasn't cool,
And if it wasn't cool, then it wasn't cool. It cares.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
It's not like you actually have real people in your
head being like boo, you're the worst at least I
don't you hear that in your head?

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Hell yeah, I don't. One of my cousins, said Sade.
One of my cousins said something once to me, and
it has literally caused me to stop posting the internet.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Who the dj Edetra?

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Absolutely what did you? Absolutely? She was like, you're posting
a selfie? It doesn't make you feel weird? And I
was like, no, like what do you mean? She's like,
I don't know. It's something about it just makes me
feel weird, like I don't know, I feel like I'm watched,
And it's like she played on my paranoia. So now

(21:26):
I'm like, that's a cute picture. But no, no, nope,
you're being watched. I swear it's so weird.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
I mean Instagram is a place for people to watch
other people, I know, which is why I don't post
it so a selfie. Like so, she like, you took
it of yourself. It wasn't like somebody took it of you.
I know it's not a selfie, but like, so if
somebody would have taken it of you.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Uh huh, would you feel the same. I don't know.
The question is would she have said something? I don't
think so.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
She seems like a menace.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Oh she is she? Oh she calls the stir over
the weekend. This is her thing.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
This is her thing to just start shit.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Yeah, Like my whole family is coming up. I feel
like I said this, They're coming up not for my birthday,
but it just so happens to be the weekend of
my birthday. US open blah blah blah. We're all going.
And there was a fight over the weekend about where
our tickets, like where our seats are going to be,
and my cousin Melanie DJ Edge Control decided, Fuck you guys,

(22:22):
I'm gonna get my own ticket and sit a completely
different side of the what do you call it? Stadium?
Arena stadium. So it turned into a thing at like
seven o'clock on a Saturday morning, and I'm like, I
am going back to bed. Bye.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
I thought I was going to this family outing with
all of you.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
I don't know if you want to. I'm gonna be honest.
This is the thing that makes me nervous. No, no, uh,
this is the thing that makes me nervous. I never
invite people out with my family because I do not
want to be embarrassed. They'll start fighting I don't know where,
and I'm like, oh, this is so embarrassing. Please I
love that.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
No, I'm in it would make me feel at home.
I thot effects all the time. I'm probably not thing.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
I just walk away. Really, I'm like, okay.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Bye, fair enough, Ah, fine, But if you want to,
you put yourself in. I mean after that that cell,
I don't think that I do anymore. So there's that
we'll probably go out to meet us. I'll meet you
after hey, but I do want to go to the
US Open, So come so bad. No I want someone
to invite me.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
No, come, but bring someone just in case you need
a break, Just in case you need a break, because
I'm like, how does that.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
Work for you when it comes to like dating somebody,
Like how long do you date somebody before you introduce
them to your family?

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Oh? Probably you're saying that's that was yeah, and people
don't last that long these days. But yeah, I like
to like, let's make sure this is actually a thing
for a while. I need to see you upset before
I get you around my family and you get upset.
Likely that happened on the show that I'm watching. This

(23:53):
girl is called McBee Dina MCB Yeah, McBee Dynasty. It's
really good. It's a reality sure. Okay, yeah, we'll talk
about that another time.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
But on your uncut Yeah, actually.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
We got to do an update because that happened. Okay, yes,
but someone was dating a guy. They hadn't been dating
for that long, but he made it seem like, well
he had intent to like marry her, so he's like,
we're moving pretty quickly, but this is the person I
want to be with. She took him home to her family,
and it just so happened that his family was going
through something really big at the same time, so he

(24:29):
was just out of it and it was a horrible experience.
We didn't see anything, but you could tell that, like
when they came back, the energy was off. I don't
think they ever bounced back. Spoiler, but you're supposed to
have before you dick Jesus, that's what you're in form
I'm gonna sart, but yeah, that's hears me. It terrifies me.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
I am always terrified to introduce people to my family
because you've met them and it's either a very clear
reason as to why I am the way I am
or it's what the hell is going on over here
type of situation. And I also, as like the child
of Indian immigrants, we don't tell our parents a lot

(25:14):
about our lives. Yeah, they find out when it's important
for them to find out. So I was dating my
last boyfriend now like two boyfriends ago. Oh, I can't
give me a straight for like a year and some
change until my mom was finally like, I had a
dream that you had a boyfriend and didn't tell me
whoa And so the first thing I did was text
my sister and I was like, you dirty bitch, did

(25:35):
you tell mom? And she was like, what are you
talking about? Absolutely not my mom apparently just had a premonition.
So I was like, oh, yeah, you're right, I do.
She was not happy about that. She's like, oh, like,
have you been dating? What is going on?

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Whatever?

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Then I brought him home. He meets my family and
it was fine. It was great, Like they had met
him because we had been friends since we were younger,
so like they knew him. Whatever. After we meet my family,
we're on the plane going home and he looks at
me and goes, I really want to kiss you. I

(26:07):
just like need a minute. I said, what do you
mean you need a minute, and he was like, oh, no, man,
you look just like your dad. No, I'm feeling kind
of gay. I was like, what, I know you knew,
and I know I knew, and like it had never
dawned on me that that would make a man feel
weird to like meet me and then meet my dad

(26:28):
and he's like, holy shit, they look alike. And now
in my head I'm like, wow, he thinks I look
like a bald Indian man who looks like Charles Barkley,
So like, I look like Charles Barkley. You know my dad,
because you're picture of here right now. He looks like
Charles Barkley, and that's what At this point, that boyfriend
was like, you look just like your dad, and I
was like, oh my god, for the rest of my life,
this man's looking at me like I'm Charles Barkley. This

(26:49):
is awful. Oh you're laughing, because it's true. I hope
everybody can make a video where we have a picture
of my dad Charles Barkley me. I hope we can
just draw that.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
And now I will never look at you without seeing
Charles Barkley or hearing his voice in my head, and
that is so unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yeah, it was bad. It wasn't great. It was not
my and I just that you talk about like things
that shook you too, that you think about all the time.
I think about that all the time. Whenever I see
Charles Barkley's ass on TV. I'm like, I hope Brandon's
not watching this, and you know his two and two together.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
He's always saying some dumb shit too, so it's like,
all right.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Try, hey, so was my dad?

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Come on?

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Oh god, Twinsy's it was the worst. So so I'm
really careful about that. And then also one time Brandon
came home for Thanksgiving, but it wasn't even home because
it was in Columbus and we weren't all staying with
my sister. So like my mom, my dad, Brannan, and
me ended up getting an airbnb and we were saying

(27:53):
in the airbnb together and my dad and I got
into it. And the thing that Brandon never knew until
that moment was there's one person that I will fight
to death with and that is my father. Oh No,
normally all back away and just be like f it
at this point. Now though, I'm gonna back away and
say it because like there's no point, right, it's silly.

(28:16):
But in that moment, oh, it was on. I mean,
the two of us. Like I thought my dad was
gonna blow a gasket and I was like same, Like
the two of us. It was just loud and horrific.
Brandon when it started, was in the bathroom drying his hair.
I'm not kidding you, diving that man dried his hair
for like forty five minutes. He didn't even step foot
outside the bathroom. It was crazy. And then when we

(28:37):
were finally done fighting and my dad was like ah
whatever and stomped off, Brandon pokes his head out and
he goes, Bug, that was so bad. He was like,
is that is that what happens often? I was like
you and my dad eh? Absolutely. He was like, oh,
that was so bad, And then I'm a really bad

(28:59):
for him. He comes from a very like prim and proper.
They do not talk about like a lot of feelings
and emotions and things going on, and they certainly would
never fight like that. So he was really traumatized. So
there's a lot you gotta think about before you bring somewhere.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Poor Brandon, we probably wanted to jump out of the window, like,
get me away from these people.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
I can't believe he didn't shut down, like the power
in the apartment with having that hair dryer on for
forty five minutes.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
He's probably just sitting there with it on, not even
I ever touched it.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
So I said it on the ground, my dear God,
please let us end. He was like, oh God, Buck,
that was so bad.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Yeah, So you gotta think about these things before he
brings someone else.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Yeah, honestly terrifying.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
You know what my dad said to me one time.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
What.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
He said, Hey, how have you had so many boyfriends
and no kids? I was like, first of all, so
many boyfriends is a crazy statement because it's literally been
four Literally you met three, So what are we talking
about here? And also like tell me you want grandkids
without telling me you want grand kids. That was another

(30:14):
thing that was start World War three? What that stupid statement?
Oh yeah, they always work in grandkids, like in some capacity.
He's gotten over it now, even though he says he's
totally fine with it. Every now and then he'll like
bring it up. Then I'm just like, in this world.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Yeah, in this economy, Yeah, my mom is giving up.
She's like, yeah, I don't think it's heard. Talk to
one of our friends. She's like, I don't think it's
happening over here. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
But they would be fun, said no one ever.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
But yeah. But it's one of those things that I'm like,
I see people who like desperately want to be moms,
and I'm like, I don't feel that, like like where
I feel like, oh my life would be over if
I never had a child. Now that could change, I
don't know, you know what i mean, but I'm like, yeah,

(31:04):
I'll be okay.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
I'm just sort of statistic that women in their forties
are having kids at a more rapid rate than women
in their twenties. Now people are waiting.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Oh yeah, because we've all been scared straight by teen Mom. Hello.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
I feel like, just from a sheerly financial perspective, no, no,
I get care of kids in your twenties. I cannot
take care of myself.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
But like, teen Mom literally changed the game because like,
when you're young, I did what it was supposed to be. Yeah,
like you're not. I feel like I know a lot
of people who weren't conscious of that until teen Mom
came out, and you're like, hold on, home boy, I
am not having a child. And then as you get older,
you're like, well, right now, I can't financially afford a child,
or I'm not where I want to be in my

(31:48):
career and blah blah blah. But I credit te Mom.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Okay, come on, that's why no one's having kids anymore.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Teen Mom, Macey and Bentley scared me straight. Leah, Caitlyn,
all of them.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
There's like so much stuff, you know, like we're talking
about things that really impacted you forever, that was said
to you or that somebody did. Have you ever seen
the movie Kids? I think we've talked about this either
on the air here the movie Kids. No, if there
is a movie, actually, I don't know if it be
as impactful anymore, because no one's scared of AIDS anymore, right,
HIV and AIDS. Nobody really things about that. No, listen,

(32:20):
I'm so terrified, but I feel like society as a
whole everyone's like, oh, that's kurable now, who cares? I
don't care as much chat about it? Yea, as like
in the nineties and two thousand oh yeah, early too terrified?
Right still am Yeah. So there's a movie called Kids.
We're basically spoiler alert see you say before, right, spoiler
alert coming. By the end of the movie, every kid

(32:44):
has aids, all of them. What kind of shit is this?
That movie scared me straight from sexual relations until I
was older. I was like, I'm like, gonn aids. Everyone
has AS. I saw the movie Everyone has as and
I'm like, oh, they should show that in like sex
ed classes. Because nothing was more impactful to me than that.
I was like, holy shit, this is the worst damn

(33:07):
watch it. Uh, you're gonna be like everyone has eights.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
They probably do, you know how They're saying everybody has
her bees now And I'm like okay, yeah, everybody, everybody please. Yeah,
they try to, you know, I think they just never mind.
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Who are hanging out watching.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
It's just like people trying to make people who have
it feel better about them. Oh everybody has it now? No, no, no,
I do not agree. Unsubscribed I yeah, no. This is
why I've been trying to stay off of the internet.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
Sexual health is still really important. Everything it is super important.
Superbugs exist, super gonrhea super like.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Oh, somebody was telling me about one that I never
even heard of the other day and I can't remember
what it was.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Damn it.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
I'll think about it at a later date. Yeah, but
I was like, wait, there are new ones?

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Oh, what's up with that?

Speaker 1 (33:58):
I don't know? Never getting back into the day.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Oh yeah, do yourself a favorite.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Also, Brandon and I have not broken up. I really
pose it. Oh my god, we've talked about nothing, and
I love that. I think we have to get out
of here. But I have a whole list of shit
we need to talk about. First of all, when are
we recording with Curtis again? Next week?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Please? Yes? Next week?

Speaker 1 (34:20):
Are you okay? Are you getting like flooded from him?

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Oh? I am, I'm losing it. I'm losing it. Why
because he's crazy. He's entertaining. But he's like an uncle
who you like bring around to see. Another reason why
you should be scared to bring people around your families, right, Like,
Curtis is that person that you have to talk to
your friend about before they meet him. So you have
to say, my uncle Curtis is a little much. When

(34:45):
you're ready and over it, you just walk away.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Do you know my favorite thing that he does, no
one's really ever gonna see because it doesn't do it
on the camera. He does off camera. If you're talking
to him. He puts his hands up, he puts his
hands up to his ears and he creates little like
I don't even know what you would call them, but

(35:12):
like cones behind his ear so that he can I
gotta tell you, I'm doing it right now, and it
really works.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
He creates like an amplifier behind his ear with his
hands so that he can hear you better. And it
looks hilarious. I was like, what are you doing? He's like,
I can't carry.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
You, Curtis. Curtis Curtis Curtis ten out of ten, but
ten out of ten for five minutes, ten out of
ten every other week. Yes, yes, and he breaks I
need breaks from him, Oh my god.
