that you grant me a joyful and peaceful rest. May
your loving arms be my blanket, and may your gentle

(01:10):
whispers be the lullaby that soothes me to slumber. May
your light shine upon me, guiding me through the darkness.
Thank you, Dear Lord, for your constant comfort in my life.
I am blessed beyond measure, and give you all the

(01:34):

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on song one hundred and twenty six.
Breathe in and out slowly with each bra. Focus on
taking longer, deeper breaths to slow down your heart. Calm

(03:07):
your mind, and relax your body. Take a deep breath.
Exhale slowly and release the stress and tension in your
muscles and joints. Soften your fingers and toes. As your
body relaxes, your thoughts will quiet down and your anxiety

(03:30):
will be relieved. Focus your thoughts on God. Meditate on
the wonderful works of his hands. Meditate on all the
great things He has done for you. As you reflect
on his mighty deeds, feel your heart swell with joy
and your spirit lift in praise. Take a deep breath,

(03:55):
Exhale slowly and feel His joy flow through your veins,
renewing everything it touches. Your body, your mind your soul.
Remembering what God has done for us in the past
will help us trust Him with the troubles in our

(04:15):
present and the unknowns in our future. Tonight, as you
listen to His word, allow his truth to fill you
with his joy and hope, trusting God has good plans
for you. Psalm one hundred and twenty six from the
King James version says, when the Lord turned again the

(04:37):
captivity of Zion, we were like them the dream then
was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing.
Then said they among the heathen. The Lord hath done
great things for them. The Lord hath done great things
for us. Whereof we are glad turn again our captivity,

(04:59):
O Lord. As the streams in the south, they that
so in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth
forth and weepeth bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again
with rejoicing, bringing the sheaves with him. Thinking about the
ways God has showed up in our past difficulties shows

(05:22):
us how He will show up in our present and
future difficulties. No matter what you are facing right now,
put your confidence in the Lord, knowing he has good
plans for your life. Plans to give you hope and
a future. Rest in His goodness tonight. Breathe in and

(05:44):
out slowly, close your eyes and reflect on the ways
God has used your trials and tribulations to grow you
and transform you. No God will sustain you in the
darkest of nights and restore you in the light of
His glory in the morning. Take a deep breath, be

(06:07):
filled with the hope of the Lord. Exhale slowly, and
allow his hope to turn your tears into songs of
joy and your ashes into beauty. Know all things work
together for the good of those who love the Lord.
With your next exhale, let go of your worries and

(06:31):
put your trust in the Lord's sovereign plan for your life.
Think of a time when you win astray and travel
down a dark path that led to consequences. Acknowledge any
unconfessed sin. Ask the Lord for his forgiveness. Pray he
will turn your heart toward him and help you walk

(06:54):
down his path of life and righteousness. Breathe in his
mercy and love. Breathe out your sin and shame. Breathe
in his power and strength. Breathe out your fears and doubts.
Know the Lord will redeem you and will restore what

(07:15):
has been lost. Think of all the wonderful things the
Lord has done for you. Thank the Lord for the
ways he has blessed you. Thank him for the times
he has helped you and delivered you. Praise him for
the miracles you have witnessed. Praise him for his provision

(07:35):
and protection. Think of a person who needs God's help
tonight in a specific area of their life. Pray for
healing and restoration. Pray they will find rest in his
provision and peace. Bring your requests to the Lord. Tell

(07:56):
him about your struggles and troubles. Tell him about your
needs and wants. Know he will give you the desires
of your heart when you are close to him. Pray
for his redemption and restoration in your life. Pray you
will live into that purpose to which you have been called,

(08:17):
and you will keep your eyes on the Lord every
day and night. Pray for his provision in a specific
area of your life. Pray his provision will satisfy your
soul and fill you with his joy. Pray for his
protection as you sleep. Pray you will rest safely and

(08:40):
securely in His joy and peace. Take a deep breath
allow God to fill you with everything you need to
rest tonight. Exhale slowly and release any tension in the body.
Close your eyes and allow His joy to warm your

(09:01):
heart and his peace to refresh your soul. In his presence,
know you will experience deep, RESTful sleep that will restore
you for tomorrow.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
