(00:45):
in the truth. The days bring trouble, and the world
has struggles, but I will find my rest in you.

covered by the warmth of your embrace. So give me faith,

Keep my heart from cynicism and bitterness. Envelop me with

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm fourteen. Sometimes God seems
so far away, sometimes you might wonder if He really
is there. So before we receive God's word tonight, let's

(03:12):
focus on drawing close to him. Breathe in and out slowly.
With each inhale, allow your chest to fully expand, then
exhale slowly. Feel your chest rise and fall with your
next breath. Imagine God's presence filling your chest, filling your lungs,

(03:39):
sustaining the very life that flows through your body as
you exhale. Visualize His presence filling your room, keeping you
warm and safe tonight. With each breath, ask God to
draw you close to him. Ask God to remind you

(03:59):
of his faithfulness in your life. Surrender your fears and doubts,
Surrender your stress from today. Just be still and know
that He is God. Take a deep breath, Exhale slowly,
and release any tension in your body. Relax your neck

(04:23):
and shoulders, soften your joints, and your fingers and toes.
As your body relaxes, focus on opening your mind and
heart to hear God's voice. Listen to your heart beat
and focus on breathing in and out slowly until your
heart rate slows down. As you get ready to meditate

(04:47):
on God's word, ask for him to reveal his truth
to you tonight. Our plans can change, and obstacles can
get in the way of our success, but the Bible
tells us we can take refuge in the Lord because
his plans are never thwarted, and his plans for us

(05:08):
are good. Psalm fourteen from the King James's version says
the fool hath said in his heart there is no God.
They are corrupt, they have done abominable works. There is
none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven
upon the children of men to see if there were

(05:30):
any that did understand and seek God. They are all
gone aside. They are all together become filthy. There is
none that doeth good, No not one. Have all the
workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people
as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.

(05:54):
There were they in great fear. For God is in
the generation of the righteous, Ye that have shamed the
counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.
Oh that the salvation of Israel will come out of Zion.
When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people,
Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad. Tonight, ground

(06:19):
yourself in God's word. Reflect on his eternal existence. Knowing
he has always existed and will always exist, can fill
your heart with hope. Contemplate his truth and find joy
and peace. As you lie down to sleep, let his

(06:39):
presence refresh and rejuvenate you. Relax your body, clear your mind,
Breathe in and out, release any stress in your muscles,
remove any distractions, and focus on the goodness of God.

(07:00):
Close your eyes and imagine God looking down on Earth
from his heavenly throne, searching for those who understand His
ways and for those who seek him. Then he finds
you lying down focusing on his goodness, rejoicing in his salvation,

(07:20):
receiving his truth. He looks down on you with love
and pours his blessing and favor upon you. Feel your
body relax in his presence, Breathe in and out, take
refuge in the Lord. Sleep peacefully, knowing His plans for

(07:42):
you are good. Think of a time when you doubted
God's existence and you try to find your own way.
Confess he is Lord and ask for his forgiveness for
any sins. Ask God to keep you from going astray.
Take a deep breath as you exhale. Let go of

(08:06):
any shame you are carrying tonight. Know your sin has
been forgiven because God has brought redemption and restoration to
his people through Jesus Christ. Throw off anything that is
hindering you from enjoying the fullness of your salvation. Praise
God for revealing his truth in your life. Thank Him

(08:29):
for your salvation. Praise Him for the obstacles in your
life he has helped you overcome. Think of someone who
does not believe in God. Pray God will use you
to reveal his truth to them, and pray they will
accept His gift of salvation. Lay your requests before God.

(08:52):
Cast all your cares and anxieties on him. Allow His
hope and comfort to help you experience a deep, RESTful
sleep tonight. Pray for God to remove any obstacles in
fulfilling his purpose for your life. Pray God will give
you the opportunity to tell others about him. Pray for

(09:13):
your family and friends to believe in his existence and
receive his salvation. Pray for protection over you and your
family as you sleep. Pray for God to give you
the wisdom and discernment in this world. Pray he will
help you obey his commands in a world that has

(09:34):
rejected Him and his ways. Take a deep breath, Release
any stress that is lingering from to day. Surrender it
all to God. Feel the comfort of his presence, Rejoice
in His salvation, and find refreshment in His word. Pray

(09:56):
then and out slowly as your body relaxes, allow God
to renew your spirit and help you rest through the night.
