Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleep Song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on p sixty six. Let's begin
by focusing on controlling your breathing. Close your eyes and
breathe in and out slowly through your nose. Feel your
(03:13):
stomach rise and fall with each Inhale and exhale as
you breathe in, feel the air flow from your lungs
to your abdomen. Exhale slowly and feel the oxygen spread
throughout your body, reaching every cell, every muscle. Open your eyes.
(03:36):
Feel your heart rates slow down with each breath. Inhale slowly,
and imagine God breathing his life into you, filling your
lungs with air that will rejuvenate your body. Exhale slowly
and release any stress and tension in your muscles. Relax
(03:58):
your neck and shoulders. Pray then and out as your
body relaxes. Open your mind and heart to listen to
God's word. Ask God to speak to you to night
through his word. Quiet your mind and be still. Listen
(04:19):
to the voice of truth that will guide you to
a safe, quiet place where you can sleep peacefully. The
Bible reminds us that God has performed many miracles for
his people, and he will continue to do so for
those who love him. Tonight, Let's remember the wonderful things
(04:40):
he has done and allow his joy and hope to
bring us comfort as we rest. Psalm sixty six from
the King James's version says, make a joyful noise unto God,
all ye lands, sing forth the honor of his name,
Make his praise glorious. Say unto God, how terrible art
(05:03):
thou and thy works? Through the greatness of Thy power,
shall thine enemies submit themselves unto Thee. All the earth
shall worship THEE and shall sing unto Thee. They shall
sing to Thy name. Silah, Come and see the works
of God. He is terrible in his doing toward the
children of men, he turned the sea into dry land.
(05:27):
They went through the flood on foot. There did we
rejoice in him. He ruleth by his power forever his
eyes behold the nations. Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Silah, O,
bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of
his praise to be heard, which holdeth our soul in life,
(05:50):
And suffereth not our feet to be moved. For thou, O,
God has proved us. Thou hast tried us, and silver
is tried. Thou broadest us into the net. Thou laidest
affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride
over our heads. We went through fire and through water,
(06:12):
but Thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. I
will go into thy house with burnt offerings. I will
pay THEE my vows, which my lips have uttered, and
my mouth hath spoken when I was in trouble. I
will offer unto THEE burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with an
incense of rams. I will offer bullocks with goats. Sillah,
(06:36):
Come and hear all ye that fear God, and I
will declare what he hath done for my soul. I
cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled
with my tongue. If I regard aniquity in my heart,
the Lord will not hear me. But verily God hath
heard me. He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
(06:59):
Blessed be God, God, which hath not turned away my
prayer nor his mercy from me. Meditating on God's word
before we go to sleep can fill our hearts with
joy and hope, as it reminds us of everything God
has done for those who love Him and are committed
to him. We can rest knowing we are in the
(07:20):
capable and strong hands of God. Breathe in and out slowly.
Reflect on all the wondrous things God has done. Think
of the miracles you have read in the Bible and
the miracles you have witnessed in your life. Take delight
in His word, Take delight in his works. Take a
(07:44):
deep breath. Feel his joy lighten your heart and ease
your mind. Exhale slowly and allow his joy to spread
throughout your body, bringing life to every bone, muscle and je.
Close your eyes and imagine the mighty hands of the
(08:05):
Lord parting the waters so that you may walk on
dry land. Imagine his hands keeping your feet from slipping
as you climb the highest mountain. Know his hands are
powerful and mighty. Know his hands will sustain you and
protect you throughout the night. Think of a time when
(08:27):
you made a vow to God but did not keep it.
Confess your sins and ask for his forgiveness. Ask him
to help you keep your promises to him and to others.
Take a deep breath, Allow God's grace and love to
fill your spirit. Exhale slowly, and release any guilt and
(08:50):
shame you are holding on to. Know He is always faithful,
even when we are not. Rejoice in the name of
the Lord. Praise him for his wonderful deeds. Praise him
for his love and salvation. Thank him for the times
he has helped you and delivered you. Thank him for
(09:13):
the prayers he has answered. Think of someone who needs
a miracle. Pray for God to intervene in their situation
and help them. Pray he will fill their heart with
hope and peace. Tonight, lay your requests before the Lord.
Know he will hear you, and he will answer you
(09:34):
at the right time. Pray God will help you in
times of trials, Pray he will remind you of all
that he has done, so that you will place your
hope in him. Pray God will give you the wisdom
and strength to follow him and his ways. Pray you
will delight in his word and he will fill your
(09:57):
heart with joy. Pray God God will provide for you
and protect you. Pray He will keep you in his
perfect peace. Tonight, take a deep breath. As you exhale,
release any tension and stress that is still lingering from today.
(10:17):
Relax your neck and shoulders, close your eyes, and breathe
in and out slowly. Feel your mind and heart settle
with each breath. As you relax, allow God's joy, hope,
and peace to comfort you throughout the night.
