Speaker 1 (00:08):
Hi, everyone, It's Amanda Riguar Green. Welcome to Soul Sessions.
Thank you for joining me today. I'm a little bit
under the weather. I had learngitis, and so my voice
is trying to come back, So if I sound a
little raspier than usual, you know why. Wow, this energy
(00:28):
right now feels like a point of no return. And
I know that sounds doom and gloom or super esoteric,
but it feels like we're at this precipice in our
humanity and our personal lives, in our soul's journey and
our experience where we're navigating life on life's terms in
(00:54):
real time, and it's almost like a video game of
virtual reality. And sometimes it feels very practical and legit
and linear, and other times it feels like we are
fumbling our way through ourselves. And I hope that connects
(01:17):
And think about where you are personally right now, and
maybe not just your day to day life and responsibility
and adulting that you're juggling, but where you feel on
a soul level, on a meaning level, and where you
(01:38):
fit in the bigger part of your story, your journey,
the story that you are authoring and writing in this
lifetime and the bigger question that keeps coming up for me,
and I again, I feel like I am navigating it
with a blindfold on and my hands outstretched, like I
(02:02):
know where to go, but I'm also feeling and intuiting
my way through things, pulling from my experience, my wisdom,
my resources, but also tapping into something deeper. And I
think the big question is how do we? How do I?
(02:24):
How do you remain true to yourself, truly human and
embodied during all of this rapid change, not just technological change,
cultural change, relational change, personal change, but change in humanity.
(02:49):
And I know that you feel it because I can
see it. I see it in my interactions with people,
with friends, with clients, strangers on the street. It's like
we're present, but we're almost lost. And I can feel
that so deeply right now. So I think the question
(03:11):
for me comes back to what anchors me into my reality,
into my body, into myself when everything around me feels
disorienting and accelerating, accelerating at a pace that I can feel.
(03:31):
But I don't know how to explain or sometimes navigate
what anchors me. And I'm using the word anchor rather
than grounding, because grounding is about yes, being in our body,
being fully present, being connected. But anchoring is where do
(03:52):
I feel tethered to my evolving meaning? And me is
something so many of us are here for and searching for,
and meaning isn't stagnant. I remember years ago I had
a discussion with a good friend of mine and we
(04:13):
were talking about just the vernacular, the words of meaning
versus purpose, and the way that she articulated it is
that purpose was linear, It had a goal, It had
set parameters, so to speak. Purpose. Even if you use
(04:35):
those two words, you vibrationally, energetically listen to them. Purpose
feels finite, it feels attainable, whereas meaning feels more fluid
and vast and evolving and unfolding, and it's like almost
(04:56):
when you touch it and you know it, you lose it.
So paradoxical. And again, I know I sound very esoteric,
But what anchors you today? Anchors you in your own
personal journey and your own personal meaning. And when I
say what anchors you today, it's not what anchored you
(05:19):
maybe a year ago or three years ago or pre pandemic.
So much of us and who we are as humanity
and the way we navigate things really shifted during the pandemic,
and that's been a handful of years ago. And I
know most of you feel this and know it, but
one of the most tangible things for me is time
(05:43):
and how elusive time can be. It's like, gosh, when
was that, Oh that was four years ago, or oh
that was three months ago. I have to a lot
of times look to the actual calendar and the year
and the date to concept figure out the span of
time I am reflecting on or referring to, because it's
(06:09):
almost like I can't conceptualize it the same way I
used to. And something in the pandemic shifted in that
nature and so energy and the way that we think
and feel and navigate it's been changing for a while.
(06:30):
And as far as meaning goes and anchoring ourselves. We
have more information available to us at our fingertips than
ever before in humanity, in recorded history and humanity, and
yet it's like we can't get enough. We feel so
(06:54):
saturated and oversaturated yet hungry and empty simultaneously. Think about
that for a minute. It's like craving information and knowledge
and understanding and needing to put the puzzle pieces together,
yet also feeling untethered and lost at the same time.
(07:17):
I've been feeling that a lot lately, so I keep
coming back to what anchors me, and what anchors me
today is my quiet time and honesty with myself. And
sometimes that comes in a flash, in an instant, and
(07:38):
other times it comes in maybe thirty minutes of journaling,
or going on a walk or to the gym, or
a really good meal with someone I'm present with and enjoying.
It can come in a multitude of ways, but I'm
seeking a sense of embodiment. Sustaining that is becoming more complex.
(08:05):
We have all of this access to information and knowledge,
but yet we feel more disconnected, overwhelmed, and hungry for
something deeper. So the question becomes, when do you feel
anchored and at home in your own body, your own spirit,
(08:29):
and your own life. And I can't answer that for you,
but I can pose that question. So you begin to
notice the moments in your day or the moments in
your week where you truly feel present. And it may
(08:50):
be a beautiful sunset, it may be a shower first
thing in the morning. It may be your first cup
of coffee. Sometimes for me, it's in a TV show
when I just feel my heart and humanity. I have
to say this. I recently was on an incredible trip
(09:13):
and an amazing retreat that I had the pleasure and
privilege to go on. I went to Portugal and my
sister had a retreat in Portugal on the island of Madeira,
and it was everything was in bloom. It was one
of the most gorgeous places I've ever been to, truly
(09:35):
spectacular and elegant, peaceful. I totally overindulged in food and
all the things, but I just was very present and
in my body. But as I was traveling and traveling home,
you know, you do a lot of reflecting. When you're
(09:55):
on the back end of a trip. You know, you're
a bit tired, you're a bit disoriented, especially if you're
traveling internationally with time zones and schedules, and then adulting
and human and life and work responsibilities. It's like all
of it starts to flood back and you feel that
sense of urgency. And then I lost my voice simultaneously
(10:16):
and wasn't feeling well. You know, it kind of everything
escalated at one time, but I had this huge layover
once I got back to Ecuador for my in country flight,
and I lost my voice completely, total leryngitis. But anyway,
I was sitting in the airport and I had I
(10:37):
wanted to do some work, but I had no brain functioning.
And then I couldn't get my internet to connect to
my computer. So it was like, even though I was struggling,
everything was amiss, and it was like the universe was like,
don't do this now. You don't. First of all, you
don't feel like it. Your faculties aren't there, You're exhausted
from twenty four hours of international travel and a big trip,
(10:59):
you're all so processing and integrating all the things, and
you're sick. So I just was like, okay, fine, And
I had the last two episodes of Hacks, the HBO
Max series with gene Smart Hacks and this it was
the series finale. And I don't know if you're familiar
(11:20):
with that show, but I started watching it a couple
of years ago and actually kind of fell in love
with it and just the humor and the wrongness of
it and the relationship and the intimacy and all the
things in that show. So it was there were the
last two episodes of the entire series, and I had
them downloaded on my phone for the plane, and I
(11:43):
didn't watch them because I fortunately slept because I wasn't
feeling well. So I decided, Okay, I'm going to watch
these two last episodes in the airport while I wait
for this flight. And you know, I'm sitting there in
the airport and I'm just watching this show and I
(12:04):
had like tears running down my face and it was
like this moment of just feeling utter presence and love
and like the simplicity of humanity and relationships and the
messiness of life and people and how plans don't work
(12:31):
out the way that we think they're going to work out.
But in the end, all we have is our humanity
and our relationship to other people. And we also have humor.
We have a sense of humor. And I know that's like,
you know, I'm sitting there kind of add some suit
offed in me, and I you know, I also I
(12:52):
think I was running a mild fever and a little
bit out of it, and of course just teary and tired.
But it was like that simplicity of human relationship and
connection that brought me so much joy. And in that joy,
(13:12):
there was a lot of grief and sadness and I
think a lot of us right now are feeling such
a flush of emotions that are really difficult to define.
(13:33):
I think a lot of us right now are feeling
such a flush of emotions that are really difficult to define,
because it's a mixture of connection and humanity and joy
and silliness and laughter, and then a lot of pain,
(13:56):
a lot of grief, a lot of change that feels
out of control, and some of our identities are starting
to melt away and we're emerging into new presence and
new versions of ourselves. Of course, we're in a one year. Numerologically,
(14:20):
this is a big year, and I want you to
come back to that, and you might want to revisit
my numerology episode where I talk about the numerology of
twenty twenty six and it being a one year, and
it's not only a one year. When you add up
two plus zero plus two plus six, it equals ten.
(14:40):
And the ten is not the one, it's a combination
of the one. But when you add that zero in
front of the one, and the one being the individual
paving a new path, pioneering a new frontier, personal responsibility
and leadership, and you add the infinite quality of the zero,
(15:03):
it takes it up a notch. So we're on this
precipice where we've been out growing versions of ourselves that
once fit, and we don't quite know where they fit yet.
So when our roles and our titles, and our belief
(15:24):
systems and our communities that have carried us or we
have carried start to change or evolve, where do we fit?
Where do I fit? Where do you fit? And I'm
not saying that every day you're having an esoteric crisis
or an existential crisis and you're dealing with these deep
(15:44):
philosophies and these inner truths, but you may be, and
at times it may feel like you're lost, or you're
losing your mind, or you're tethering, you're anchoring, and then
the next moment may feel like you know what's on
your to do list, you know what's on your plate,
you know how to show up, and then ten hours
(16:08):
later or two days later, it feels again like you're
in the void. Trust that space, find what anchors you,
and trust that the answers may not feel comfortable. I
(16:29):
know that may not be comforting, but the answers that
you're receiving may not feel grounding. Or clarifying. They may
feel unsettling, and it doesn't mean that you have to
act on them, but it's worth journaling, and I would
(16:51):
encourage any of you out there to journal. I had
a conversation with a client a couple of days ago,
and I begged her to journal. And I don't really beg.
I don't beg with my clients. It's really not one
of my I don't know, it's just not how I operate.
But I was like, if you don't do anything, can
(17:11):
you please start journaling? Can you please start journaling? And
I wasn't meaning you need to sit in journal for
five hours. I just was saying, just sit down and
get the thoughts that may be incoherent or unexplainable out
of your head and onto the page. And it's not
(17:35):
so much about clarity as it is about purging and
even channeling what may be coming through. And as you journal,
you might find a word or two that anchors you
into the present moment that comes from your consciousness. And astrologically,
I want to connect to the dots on that a
(17:58):
little bit. You well remember or you've been listening to
this podcast and you follow astrology. Urinus has just moved
into Gemini and it will be in Gemini for the
next seven years. Uranus is about shock and awakening, rebellion,
the future. It's not quiet, it's loud, and it comes
(18:19):
in bursts like lightning bolts. It's electric, it's frequency oriented,
it's electromagnetic, and it's very future oriented. And it's fast.
It's fast energy in Gemini, which is about communication, it's
about the conscious mind. It's about how we gather and
(18:42):
share information. It is about the right and left hemispheres
of the brain. It's how we connect on a daily
basis with people. Urinus is re wiring that, and not overnight.
Over the next seven years. There's accelerated change happening in
(19:04):
our electromagnetic energy field, in our physical bodies, in our consciousness.
A lot of you have been experiencing depression, anxiety, exhaustion, overwhelm, overload,
physical illness. I mean, I've been dealing with that, and
(19:25):
mine is all in my throat chakra. Mind you, it's
a little bit of chest congestion, so a little bit
of heart chakra and a lot of throat chakra and
a lot of third eye And I just did a
big chakra series. So if you want to go back
and revisit any of that. You certainly can, because there's
a lot of dots to connect. I encourage you to
(19:47):
pay attention to what's coming up in your physical body
right now as that anchoring point. Where are you experiencing
pain discomfort? Where are you holding on to energy? Is
it happening in your neck, your spine, your jaw, your
lower back, your hips, your joints. Where are things showing
(20:11):
up for you, and how are they connected energetically to
your body's evolution and processing. And that chakra series was
very purposeful to help you and give you some insights
to connecting the energetic dots, so to speak, in your
(20:35):
physical body to your energetic body, and also finding deeper
meaning in your journey in your soul's evolution. And as
we evolve, our community and our sense of presence and
where we belong is evolving, and there's this interesting tension
(20:57):
between authenticity and belonging. All comes back to identity and
meaning and purpose. But authenticity is a very high frequency.
And I've spoken about this before, and there have been
studies that show that authenticity is a much higher frequency
(21:20):
than gratitude or appreciation. And I know that sounds twisted, right,
But think about the moments you have been absolutely true
to yourself. It's not about you being kind or loving,
It's about being true When you say what you mean,
you mean what you say. You really know why and
(21:42):
where and who you are in a moment, and you
speak from a place that is higher than you but
is true to you. Think about when your authenticity has
shown through, when do you feel authentic? That may also
connect to when you feel anchored? Who do you feel
(22:03):
authentic around? When do you feel authentic? What does authenticity
look like for you today? And then ask yourself when
you feel authentic, where do you find a sense of
(22:25):
community and belonging? And those are really big questions and
questions that I am not posing for you to answer
today or now or to have certainty around, but to
really start digging deep in terms of what your priorities
are and what brings you your deepest sense of being
(22:50):
and purpose and what matters to you and why, and
then how do you express that. Who do you feel
scene around without performance or projection? Who holds space for you?
And on the flip side of that, who do you
hold space for where you don't feel that you collapse
(23:13):
in your energy field, or you lower your energy feel down,
or you feel drained around. And it probably is not
twenty five people or ten people. It may be a
simple interaction with strangers. A lot of times I feel
deeply authentic in public with strangers, in very small interactions
(23:39):
like at the grocery store, or in something simple and
transactional and human, you know, a smile at the gym
or laughing about something, authenticity comes through. Then there's this
guy at the gym and he's a trainer at my gym,
and in between his sets, when he's doing his set,
(24:00):
he's got his headphones on and he just like starts dancing.
And he's really hot, by the way, Like he's really
good looking, and he's totally got a beat and a vibe.
And I watch him between reps and sets, and it's
like he does his sets and then he just starts
dancing and grooving, and it brings me so much joy.
(24:24):
Not because I'm like, oh my gosh, this guy is hot.
It has nothing to do with that. It's just that
he is like authentically feeling himself out in public, out
in real life, being who he is, and it's like
his essence shines through. And I have to tell you,
(24:44):
I've never had a conversation with this guy, first of all,
because I'm not confident enough in my Spanish to say
to him that I appreciate his dancing without feeling like
that's just gonna be mistranslated in my broken Spanish. But
like watching him enjoy himself and do his thing during
his reps in a way that is not performative or
(25:06):
showing off, because it's not at all. Because there's those
guys at the gyms too that are like filming themselves
with their cameras and doing their reps for their Instagram.
There's that, and of course I have, you know, I'm like,
oh my gosh, but to each his own right, like
no judgment there, I just you know. But then I'm
gravitating towards the guy that's like doing the reps and
doing his dance and feeling himself, and it's making me
(25:30):
smile and it's making me happier at the gym. So
authenticity and anchoring doesn't necessarily mean that it is about
your productivity. Authenticity and anchoring doesn't necessarily mean that it
(26:02):
is about your productivity or your output or contributing to
the accomplishments of your day or your adulting and your responsibilities.
It's when do you feel fully present and alive? You know,
And it's sometimes contagious, like I was saying, and watching
(26:25):
someone else be fully themselves and alive, or maybe it's
me but being fully myself and alive and giving that
gift to someone else, but asking yourself, especially as we
enter the summer months, because the summer months are profound,
and I'm going to talk about that in the next episode.
I'm going to talk more about June, July, and August
(26:49):
and how profound they are. Energetically, we have some tremendous
astrology and numerology clicking that's set in motions, some pretty
massive change and that starts this month. And like I said,
I'll get into that in the next episode and outline
it for you very clearly and with some roadmap. So
(27:13):
you've got some insights and some direction and things to
think about in your life and you can do a
little forecasting and planning and connect to those cosmic dots.
And if you're wanting to dive deeper and have more community,
my frequency field is open just for the summer. We're
doing a three month pass. So for June, July, and August,
(27:35):
it's not going to be a monthly pass. It's pretty
much a three month commitment to this incredible community that
is working on developing belonging and authenticity and voice and
identity in ways that are just real and seene and
simple without striving or overdoing, and feeling comfortable in who
(28:00):
we are and who we're becoming in this ever changing world.
And so the invitation for now and the summer months
is to really look at what's being revealed within you
and how you are heeding your call, how you are
anchoring into this reality, showing up in presence and truth,
(28:23):
even when that presence feels sad or in grief or
in pain, or enjoy in light and connectivity and harmony,
and recognizing that your meaning is starting to truly evolve.
And there's this incredible opportunity happening right now for us
(28:48):
to step into this future human version of ourselves. And
I know that sounds elusive and a little bit hard
to grasp and what does it look like, But essentially,
we are inviting more light and plasma and energy into
our bodies. And as we do that, it's challenging because
(29:11):
our bodies are literally trying to shift in frequency at
such rapid pace that our physiology, our emotions, our mind
isn't necessarily capable of integrating it in real time. So
things don't feel linear, So they can feel untethered, they
(29:37):
can feel lost, but then at the same time they
can feel so deeply true. So I invite you, as
you are present with yourself, to notice your authenticity. Notice
what's changing within you. Notice when you feel anchored even
(30:00):
amidst the acceleration and the change on a world stage,
on an energetic stage, whatever you are navigating in your
life personally. But I invite you to trust deeper than
ever in your purpose and your meaning and that you
are here. We are here for something pretty great. And
(30:26):
in order to navigate this, we need each other. We
need people who get us and see us, and we
need to be there for people in a way that
doesn't compromise ourselves. So setting our boundaries, being true to
(30:48):
ourselves and not being not living in heightened states of
fear and anxiety, because that's only creating more disease, more anger,
more rage, more polarity, but inviting in more belonging, humanity,
connection and love and whatever that looks like for you
(31:09):
right now, I invite you to journal about it. I
invite you to think about it, and maybe right now
you take a little bit of time and set a
couple of intentions for yourself for the summer. Set a
couple of intentions around what brings you your truest sense
(31:31):
of presence, the gifts that you give to this life
and to yourself, and how you are going to honor
and express those in the months ahead. And then also
ask your guides, ask your soul for intervention, for support,
(31:52):
ask your guides and your soul how to reveal that
to you clearly and to give you the strength and
the courage and the discernment to navigate this energy as
the hero of your own journey. We're in incredible times.
But with these incredible times comes an immense amount of
(32:19):
confusion and uncertainty. So I want you to know whatever
it is that you're walking through, you're not alone in
feeling just this surge and confluence of emotions that may
feel really difficult to explain or to articulate, but just
remembering that you are not alone. So apart from setting
(32:44):
your intentions and taking a few moments to really be
still and be present with yourself this month. Also connect
with the people who hoole that space and that presence
for you, and whether it's a stranger and thanking somebody
(33:06):
for their smile or their badass dance moves in the
middle of their reps and sets at the gym, or
it's a sibling or a spouse or a coworker. Express
your appreciation for the relationship you have with the people
that you appreciate, because a little of that goes a
(33:29):
long way, And we often forget how influential our energy
feels and our words can be with people because we
don't know everyone's stories, and right now, each of our
own stories feels so immense. Humanity collectively is going through
(33:50):
a tremendous amount of growth, and the best way to
navigate it is through connection and our presence and anchoring
in our own meaning where we feel we belong and
connect it to others. Thanks for joining me, Thanks for
(34:13):
navigating this a little bit with me, and hopefully that
lands and resonates. But i feel like I've just been
walking through this liminal space and I'm integrating and you know,
downloading and uploading information, and I'm having a hard time
articulating it. But what I do know about that struggle
(34:33):
and that liminal space is that when I give it
time and I honor it through it, there's more piercing
clarity and quality and authenticity. But sometimes it's like it
just takes a little bit of calendar time. So trust
(34:56):
the process and tell people you love I love that.
Take care everybody. Thanks for joining me.
