it's pretty wild. Does it have something to do with, uh,
how I feel today? I don't know. I don't I'm

just gonna be honest with you. I I think this
is the sickest I've ever been in my life while
trying to record a podcast, And uh, it's funny. You know,
they say, how do you know that? How do you
make God laugh? Tell him your plans? God has a

cruel sense of humor and a lot of you know,
I'm sure that I just got back into the country,
into the USA. I went down to Panama, the country
of Panama, to get stem cell treatment. And what's funny
is that when that actually I went down there for
stem cells for rheumatoid arthritis. And I'm not going to

talk all about that on this particular show. I'll save
that for another time. That all went very well. I
felt great when I was in Panama. But on the
way back, Lauren, my wife, and I stopped in Texas
for a while to spend some time with my in
(02:47):
laws and talk about bad timing. They were all sick.
I think it started with my brother in law and
then my sister in law and then my father and
then Lauren got it. So if I die, you know
who to blame. And yeah, yeah, Texas, boy, A lot

of weird stuff happened on the way back. I'm going
to talk about, you know, what happened in Texas. So anyway,
you know, I was sitting there and I was thinking, like,
I don't feel like doing a podcast, but I haven't
had the well, the past two weeks have been best
ofs and and I do want to tell you this
story about at least one of the things that I

bought is I bought a pig in Texas and it's
unbelievable to me. This story is amazing. Well it's kind
of a pig, but I wanted to tell that with
you tell that to you. But for the past couple
of weeks it's been best ofs because you know, I've
(03:54):
been traveling. I mean, you have to understand something here.
If you don't know this already, It's not like everybody
and the whole world hangs on to my schedule. In
less than two weeks, I made five plane flights, including
two internationals, stayed in at least three hotels, traveled well
(04:17):
over six thousand miles. I mean, it was it was
an insane schedule. And you know, I recorded some shows
in advance, and I figured I'd come back here feeling
great because I'd got my new stem cells. But yeah,
(04:39):
the plans were different, and yeah, I could have just
give me another week off. But you know what's weird.
Sometimes when I sit down and do this podcast, it
makes me feel better. And I don't know exactly how
to explain that. I I guess it's because you got
(05:01):
to dig in deep and bring, you know, bring some
energy to the surface. It's better than just laying around
in bed blowing your nose. And so, you know, I'm
sure you'll cut me some slack if this is not
the best podcast I've ever done. And by the way,
this is how I sound after cold medicine. But uh so,
(05:22):
I guess it's better than not, you know, keeping you updated.
I didn't want to leave you hanging because I do
have I think, an amazing story to share with you.
Now again, is it possible that what one of the
things that I bought in Texas also contributed to this situation.
(05:46):
I don't really know for sure, but and I'm gonna
I'm gonna try not to cough for your ear and
all that kind of stuff too much. I'm sure I'll
be fine. Don't worry about me. This was just it's
just again, it's like ironic timing show. I have so
much stuff that I'll be telling you on over the
(06:08):
next few podcasts. It's overwhelming, but I want to tell you.
Of all things, the main thing that I want to
tell you about is something that happened to me in Houston, Texas,
when I got back from Panama. So my wife, Lauren
(06:34):
is from that area. And one day we got in
the car together and we didn't really have much of
a plan, and we were driving around and she was
showing me some of her old stomping grounds and things
like that, and even she hasn't been to Texas in
quite a while. And I was on the phone on
(06:58):
my phone, you know, looking at kind of cool stuff
that we might be able to do. And I saw
this little shop that was nearby called Thorn and Moon. Now, look,
I don't have anything to do with Thorn and Moon.

Occult and Pagan Supplies. Now this is before I hung
out with my in laws, so you know, I was
feeling good and I was ready to get out and
explore the day. I didn't start getting sick until I
got back to my home here in Nevada, but I

thought this sounded interesting.

I know there are many of you who are out
there who say, Josh, you know, since you've been dabbling
into the occult something you know, it seems like sometimes
you you know, it's your health suffers. I mean like,
for example, a little over a year ago, I opened
up a portal on my property in Rachel, Nevada, next

to Area fifty one. I used. One of the things
that I used was a technology based on a thing
that Germans created in World War two called de Glaca,
and they stopped working on it because they said that
it Yes, the device was successful, it had an anti
(08:38):
gravity effect, but it produced some kind of harmful radiation.
So yeah, there are people who say to me, oh, oh, Josh,
you know, you shouldn't be bringing haunted things into your
house and doing these experiments. And man, maybe there's something
(08:59):
to it. I don't know, but I was fascinated and
I thought, let's go check out this little shop here
called Thorn and Moon. Website is Thorn and Andmoon dot com. Again,
knew nothing about them. I have no relationship with them.
And then Laurene and I we walked into this shop.

And it's weird that because the store it kind of
looks like somebody's house in an old neighborhood. And I
don't know the history of this place exactly. I mean,
I've just read a little bit on their website, so
I'm not going to act like I'm a spokesperson here.
But it looks like you're walking into somebody's house at first,
but then when you walk in, it's a really cool,
(09:42):
well put together shop, and it looks a lot bigger
on the inside than it does on the outside. And
they are all kinds of sort of like rambling rooms
that have just tons of really cool stuff. And I
go to these kinds of places whenever I've traveled all
over the world, you know, I used to work for
the Travel Channel, and I really I really enjoyed this one,

and as soon as I stepped inside, had a very warm,
cozy experience in there. There there were two employees there working,
one named uh Nova, the other named Olivia, and they
were super friendly. And it's important for me to tell
you this right up front. When I went in there,
(10:28):
they did not know me from Adam. They they knew
nothing about what I do for a living, not to
mention the fact that you know, I collect haunted dolls
and stuff like that, and in fact, you know, I
recently just did a couple of shows about Robert the
haunted dolls. They knew nothing about that. All I did
(10:51):
was go in there and say, Hi, we're from out
of town. I'm Joshua, this is Lauren, my wife was
raised around here. I like mysterious place is and so
and so forth. And they were like, okay, great, super friendly, warm,
welcoming atmosphere. But it's a again, it's you really have
(11:13):
to understand that they knew nothing about what I do,
because that will play a big role in what I'm
about to share with you, including some audio that I'm
going to play for you that I captured in this storm.
Because Lauren and I we said great, you know, well
we'll just look around, we'll browse around, and we stepped

an interesting adventure. Like I said, I'll talk more about
that in the future on this Strange Things podcast. But yeah,
everything was, you know, everything was fine, but now it's

all hitting me. Of course, you know, I have, like
I said, I have haunted dolls and stuff. You're at
my house, Kennedy is one of them. I'm not going
to tell you about the whole history of my haunted dolls,
but you can find that out easily. So here, Lauren
and I were at this little shop in Houston, Texas,
(15:44):
and we walked into this room. The first thing we
call our eye was this amazing taxidermied black goat that
was sort of mounted attached to I don't know, a
shelf or a trunk or something I can't recall, and
(16:07):
sort of almost hovering in knit air. An amazing looking piece.
But right below it was a.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
Doll.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
And it was a pig doll. It looked like a
little person we'll say, maybe two feet tall, with you know,
movable body. I don't know how to describe everything, but yeah,
you know, it wasn't like a statue. I mean, it
(16:42):
was a It was a doll with flexible a flexible body,
wearing a black dress. But it had the face of
a pig. And even though the face looked like it
was made out of wood, I actually it turns out
(17:04):
it's more like a clay or something. The thing most
outstanding about this pig doll is that the eyes on
this thing are just striking blue, creepy direct eyes that
look like two laser beams shooting at you. And Lauren
(17:27):
and I have a little Chihuahua named Dolly, and her
nickname is Piglet because she grunts like a pig all
the time and she has an insatiable appetite. I've had
numerous chihuahua, has never seen one that eats like this.
And so I made a comment to Lauren. I said, oh, look,
(17:49):
it's a little pig doll. Maybe we should buy that
and it'll be like our little voodoo doll for our
you know, for our chihuahua piglet. So that was the
first object that I commented on. But then we moved along.
There was so much to see in there, amazing shop.
If you've never been there and you live in the
Houston area, like I'm saying, you know, you really need
(18:11):
to go check this out. And so they had a
black cat there, I think her name was Lucy, and
she was very friendly. And so by the time we
looked around, which it took us, you know, easily half
an hour, I bought a number of things, you know,
I had number of things I was gonna buy a
(18:34):
magic wand and a little spell and all kinds of
stuff like that, a book and anyway, so finally it
was time to check out, and Lauren and I we
walked up to the register and Nova was the one
(18:57):
checking us out. And as I was talking, just making
small talk with Nova, suddenly Olivia pops out of that
first room we were in and our eyes were Olivia's
eyes were as big as saucers. And Olivia said that
pig doll moved again. Excuse me, she said that pig
(19:20):
doll moved again, and Nova goes, really, jesuys, yeah, earlier
the day was in one position, and now this, and
of course I'm listening to this, and I said, so
you said you have you have the pig doll is
haunted And then Olivia said, yeah, you know, I mean
we think so when when we first got the pig doll,
(19:42):
who was in the back room, and then right after
that somehow got into the front room and we don't
know how that happened. And it keeps moving around, and
they start telling me these stories about this doll, again
knowing nothing about who I am or the fact that
I collect these dolls. And I said, oh, how much
is that pig doll? And they told me the price
(20:05):
and I go, okay. So I go in there and
I look at the doll and I go, I would
be stupid to not buy this doll, because this never happens.
If I had walked up to that counter thirty seconds later,
I probably wouldn't have even heard this exchange. What are
the chances that I, of all people, the great and
(20:26):
terrible Joshua P. Warren, collector of haulted dolls, etc. What
happened to be standing there right when this exchange happened
between these two? And at this point I said, well,
let me explain a little bit about who I am
and what I do. And I told them who I
am and what I do, and I said, I will
(20:50):
buy this doll if you'll go on the record here
and tell everybody what you just told me. And they said,
why sure, And here's the recording that I made. Here's
what they had to say about this thing that I
was in the process of buying.

All right, So where are we and what is your name?
Speaker 5 (21:11):
We're at Thorn and Moon Apothecary in Houston, Texas, and
my name is Nova.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
Tell me about this doll I'm buying. Nova.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
So this is a Victorian morning pig doll. If I
had to describe it to you, it's it looks wooden
and it has a green dress, some little shoes, and a.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
The door just sprang open for the first time since
we've been here quite a while.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Right as she's talking.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Interesting, Oh okay, she's fanning herself.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Let's continue. What now?

Where were we?

I will not continue describing the.

Doll, but so to move.

An apothecary is situated in a house in the Houston
Heights that's probably somewhere around one hundred years old. And
we have a lot of old stuff in the shop,
stuff that has been thrifted and acquired from estate sales.
And I have never felt like anything that we've brought
into the shop has been haunted. We have a Victorian
(22:23):
gravestone here, and I've never sensed any kind of spirits
or entities. But this particular doll has given me a
weird vibe for as long as it has been here,
and I could swear that it moves. It mysteriously came
into the book shop one day when its original position
(22:46):
was like in our back apothecary, completely opposite sides of
the shop. I don't know how it got into the bookroom.
I don't know if someone moved it in there, but
I could swear that it moves and it just gives
me very weird vibes.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Yeah, well, you know what, when we walked in here,
that was the first object I commented on.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
And we have a little chihuahua.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
We call her Piglet because she's she makes a little
pig noise as she grunts, and so I was like, oh,
let's tak a piglet doll for us, you know, but
there's something definitely special about this doll.

So any other thoughts.

It's very unsettling sometimes to see it.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
When we're closing up. At least I think, and what's
your name? My name's Olivia. I also worked at Thorn
and Moon.

When we're turning all the lights off, I don't get
scared at all, but then I kind of look at
the doll and I get terrified. It's just a very
creepy looking doll. Yeah. I mean also that the doors
swung wide open.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Yeah, well, we can all attest to that. That happened.
All right, excellent, thank you very much. I'll let you
know what happens not only when I take our little
piglet dollt the house, but when I introduce her to.

My dolls as well, oh yeah, all right, thank.

You, Yeah you heard that right.

In the middle of Nova talking about this doll, the
door of the shop just swaying open and started knocking
on the wall and it was everybody looked at each
other like, uh, okay, and it gets better. Wait wait

till you hear what happens next. Okay, we're up on
a break. Yeah, this this story gets weirder and weirder.
And I now have this doll. Can you guess what
her name is? I bet you can't, but I don't know.
Maybe we should rename this Maybe we should name the

doll something else. The doll might not be happy with

I knew that I I had taken on some something
of significance. And uh, again, I really want to give

Uh they were great. And but one of the reasons
it gets even better is that so right after this,
shortly after this, within I don't know, maybe an hour

or so, Uh, Lauren and I had reservations to meet
up with her father, Charlie. And you may remember I
interviewed him a while back here on the show. And
my old pal, the notorious, the infamous Hardwood Forrest Connor
(27:25):
at because he lives in Houston, you know, and he's
a world traveler, but he never gets sick. It seems
like I don't know what he's what he's drinking. We
met up with them at this restaurant called Taste of Texas.
I know it sounds like I'm just tossing out like
(27:46):
advertisements here, but I'm really not. Although I will tell
you that if any of you want to sponsor the show,

how this works. Tasted Texas has been around for decades,
and I had seen everybody praising it on YouTube videos,

and one thing I liked about it in particular was
that it was they were saying that this restaurant called
Taste of Texas is not only like a really upscale place,
but it's kind of a museum that has some interesting
artifacts and stuff. When I got online, they had over
ten thousand reviews in practically five out of five stars,
(28:31):
and so we figured we got to try, you know,
try this place out. So yeah, Lauren and I we
met up with her dad and Forest over there. One
of the things that's really cool about Taste of Texas
is when you go in there, right off the bat,
(28:54):
you see that they have the chapel doors, the original
interior chapel doors from the Alamo, on display there next
to the host and hostess youth. And I was like,
(29:19):
does how does a restaurant get that? And I looked
it up and it says that they got it through
an auction in Kentucky of all places, in late twenty
twenty two, won them by competing against other bidders and
the Alamo itself. It says the owners successfully secured the
(29:42):
artifacts by convincing the private collectors of their vision. The
collectors wanted the seventeen to fifty Spanish colonial doors to
remain in Texas and to be publicly displayed to educate youth,
and because Taste of Texas hosts over fifteen thousand Texas
(30:02):
fourth graders for history towards annually, the collectors were thrilled
to award the doors to the restaurant. So I don't
know how much they paid. I haven't been able to
find that out, but that's that's cool.

You go in there and they have a you have
a huge mounted bear, and they have an example of
Jim Bowie's knife. And by the way, I realized that
there are people who listen to this show all over
the world and I talk about the Alamo, and you
may not know what I'm talking about, but you know,
(30:38):
you look it up. Alamo, Remember the Alamo? And so
so Lauren and I and we all sit down and
we're and we're getting ready to go to the salad
bar and everything. And guess what, I got an email
(31:00):
from the shop I was just at buying the pig
doll and the email is from Nova and I'm going
to read some of it to you right now, and
I'm like, what is this? The subject line is a
Victorian pig doll update, Like what kind of an update
(31:21):
could there be? I was just there, like, you know,
two hours ago or less. Nova says, Hi Joshua, it
was a pleasure having you at Thorn and Moon today.
I'm reaching out because my coworker Olivia and I have
noticed some strange occurrences at the shop since our discussion
regarding the pig doll. We thought you might find these
(31:43):
incidents interesting for your show. She says, okay. So Nova says,
the hanging candle lights in the book shop, the room
where the pig doll used to reside, have been randomly blinking.
All right, So Nova has attached a video to this email,
(32:07):
and you can imagine they have some kind of candles
that are like battery powered candles hanging from the ceiling.
But it turns out they shouldn't be blinking, because Nova says,
the batteries in the candles are dead and they are
switched to the off setting. We have manually verified they
(32:31):
are off multiple times, yet the blinking persists. And then
Nova says, I've attached a video capturing these lights turning
on and off. Now, so the candles are turned off,
the batteries are dead, and yet something is creating the
electromagnetic power pulse and these candles are blinking. Nova goes
(32:55):
on to say. Additionally, other electronics in the shop have
been glitching and the door has swung open on its
own again. I have worked here for nearly two years,
and Olivia is also a longtime employee, and we both
feel a significant shift in the shop's energy today following
(33:17):
our conversation and the subsequent purchase of the doll. We
may just be spooked, but we wanted to share these
updates with you nonetheless, and we are anxiously waiting to
hear about your own experience with the doll. Cheers Nova,
And I'm like, guys, listen to this. By the way,

what a well written, well written, articulate email. And I mean,
you know a lot of people can't write an email
that well. Nova should be writing books and stuff. So
you know, I wrote Novah back, and I'm like, okay,

I'm psyched. So Lauren and I you know, we started
talking about this pig doll. Really okay, we got something
here and of course you of Forrest being being a
good friend of mine, says on your plane's probably gonna
crash with this doll. Screw you for And so, uh,
(34:25):
you know, Forrest and I we're practically like brothers. I
don't have a real uh like I have a sister, okay,
And I've known Forrest for sure a long long time,
probably thirty years or something like that, and so, uh,
you know, we joke with each other about stuff, and
(34:47):
so Lauren and I we start saying, like, what what
are we gonna name this this pig doll? And Lauren
comes up with the name Delia. And she does that
because there is a spooky song out there that you
may have heard, made famous by Johnny Cash, and the
(35:10):
lyrics kind of go like I don't have the rights
to play this for you, but it goes kind of
like it starts like Delia.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Oh Delia, Delia all my life.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
If I hadn't shot poor Delia.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
I'd have had her for my wife. Delia's gone. One
more around, Delia's gone. And it's about this guy who
kills this girl named Delia. And then after that he's
in prison and he says, but Jaylor, oh, Jaylor, Jaylor.
(35:47):
I can't sleep because all around my bedside, I hear
the pattern of Delia's feet. Delia's gone. One more around
Dehlia's gone. So he's haunted and his jail cell by
the ghost of this girl he killed. And Lauren's like,
that's a great name for the pig doll.

I'm like, A, I don't know. I looked into that.
By the way, you know what, that's based on a
real incident. This is actually, this is kind of disturbing. Actually,
this is disturbing. Let's see what did I find out?
Says that it's best known due to Johnny Cash blah
blah blah, but it has the origins in a real
(36:32):
life murder that took place in Savannah, Georgia on Christmas
Eve of nineteen hundred. A fourteen year old girl named
Delia was shot and killed by her fifteen year old boyfriend. Well,
I don't even want to read anymore about that. You
can look that up yourself. But so I didn't even
(36:54):
know that until today. And I'm like, I don't know.
Maybe this pig doll does not like being named Delia.
So we brought Delia back to the house here. Finally,
in Las Vegas where I live, and I put her
right the right there next to Kennedy, my my hauted dog, Kennedy.

a few other interesting things, maybe the forest and I

lights behind the chair in the corner turned itself on

and would start randomly blinking the next day, I was
sitting nearby by myself and I heard a knocking sound
coming from over there. It actually kind of freaked me
out because it sounded like somebody was knocking on the window.
I haven't even told Lauren about that. When I forgot so,
(39:26):
I frequently will keep a camera on my haunted dolls,
but I didn't have one set up, so I ran
and grabbed one, and as we speak, I have a
motion activated camera sitting on both Kennedy and dealing Delia.
(39:50):
I thought about going down and you know, because I'm mean,
I have a studio here at my house, and I
thought about bringing Dehlia into the studio right now, you know.
So as I was, as I'm sitting here talking, I
could I could be looking at her. But then I
was like, no, I don't want to do that, right yeah,
(40:11):
I don't know Dhlia well enough yet. Dlia's under observation.
Dlia is in quarantine. Delia is in a controlled, a
SEMILI controlled environment with cameras on her, And at some
point I may bring Dlia into the studio and sit
(40:34):
here and look into her piercing blue, pale blue pig
eyes and talk to you more about her. But for now,
I think, you know, I just need to start focusing
a little bit more on getting over this cold or
whatever I have, and that's what manifestation tools help with,
(40:56):
as well as just rest and relaxation. I do feel better. However,
since I started recording the podcast, Well, like I say,
it's weird, how that's a phenomenon if you do, if
you work in media, you start digging deep inside and
pulling up your charisma. But yeah, you know, I'll tell you.
(41:22):
Forrest and I we went out. We had adventures in Texas.
Forest He's always been an adventurous guy like myself. And
you know, they told me when I got my stem
cells down in Panama, they said, don't drink any alcohol
(41:45):
for a month a month, And I was like, well, look,
I didn't pay them thirty thousand dollars for them to
tell me not to drink for a month. I mean,
like I could do that for free. It's like and
then but then the doctor's like, hey, you know, I'm like, okay.
So when I was in Texas, I like to go
(42:08):
to old, old bars because that's where the good stories are.
So Forrest and I ended up going to this bar
called they're in Houston called La Carafe, which I think
is Spanish for some kind of a decanter or something.
(42:28):
Old old building dates back to the eighteen hundreds. They
say Sam Houston spent the night there at one point
and so. But the problem was when I went in there,
I mean, let me tell you, it was one of
those old bars, and it has a big haunted history.
You can read all about it. La Carafe c A
r A f A. Wh When you walk in, like
(42:51):
you immediately feel the age and smell that rich old aroma,
and it's a good aroma. I like, like, I mean,
it smells and looks old, and the bar is it's
a big wooden bar with things that are etched in
from generations ago. You know, it's cool. But the music
(43:15):
was so loud in there that you know, you could
barely talk to you. I was like the boy said
to the bartender, I said, can you tell many of
the ghost stories? And we can. I couldn't even air
what he was saying. And uh so, I mean, like,
look that's I know, that's not what necessarily pays the bills,
but I would have liked to have asked the one
(43:37):
person I saw there who was in a position of,
you know, some authority to tell me more about the
history or I just you know, when I go to
a bar, I would like to know more about the
stories and the legends and all that. And uh, I
think a lot of bars miss out on that if
they don't have if they if the environment is not
(44:00):
conducive to that that kind of conversation. And then but
right near it, in downtown Houston was another bar called
Warrens w A R R E n S. I put
a picture of this on my x feed. It's just
type which is used to be Twitter now it's X.
You know, just type in Joshua P. Warren Twitter or
Joshua P. Warren X and you can see some pictures

from my experiences. I don't think I've ever been around
a bar named Warrens before. So that was cool. Now
that was a different story. We went into Warrens and
in there you could actually talk to the people who
worked and they were great, and they knew the history
and they knew the stories and they knew the legends,
(44:41):
and they were telling me, like one bartender was like
I've seen a glass, you know, fly off of this
bar more than once, and then another bartender had an
experience when she was touched by something on the head,
and I'm like, this is cool, Like I like that
place because you could just sit down and have a
(45:02):
normal conversation. Now, later this year, I'm going to be
fifty years old, so maybe I'm just becoming a grumpy
old man, but I prefer to sit down and be
able to have a conversation if I want to without
having my ear drums blown out. And then finally, on
(45:28):
this trip, Forrest and I we decided to go to
this place that they considered the oldest continuously operating a
bar in a Houston called the West Alabama Ice House,
operating since nineteen twenty eight. And apparently I was talking
(45:49):
to Lauren's father, Charlie, and these old ice houses they
literally back in the day they would sell you ice.
But we also would have a little bar off to
the side, and this was marketed as a dive bar.
So I said to Forest, I go, man, this might
be this might be tough a dive bar. And here
(46:10):
in Texas general, there might be some creepy bikers in there.
You know. It's like one of those scenes from Peewee's
Big Adventure or something, and so we got to be
tough when we go there in Forrest says, yeah, it's
kind of a seedy part of town. So just the
two of us, because we're the only two who can
(46:34):
tolerate such intimidation. We were driving there and we start
passing all the types of shops that you would imagine
you might find and on that side of town, I'm like, oh, yeah,
this is gonna be rough. And then we get in
there and it's just like a bunch of kids with
their dogs. You go to the bartender, You're like, what
(46:58):
kind of Texas whiskey do? Oh, we don't sell liquor,
it's only beer and wine. Oh well, I'll have as
halving on Blocton please. By the way, it's trivia nights.
And then Forrest and are like, oh, we're going to
dominate all these children at trivia. And then even though
we came in halfway through the game, still, I mean,
(47:19):
the first question was like in the show Sex and
the City, who play what profession was emeric? Whatck? So
that was not my idea of a Texas diive bar.
But we ended up in a place that was pretty cool.
Called Roswell's Saloon, and that's the kind of place you
(47:42):
would expect to be here in Las Vegas. Roswell's Saloon,
and it was like all it was like a two
story place, all black like kind of stuff with they
had like a ten foot tall alien and all kinds
of alien themed stuff. And look up Roswell's Saloon. We
liked it in there. That was a cool place. Well,
my friends, the clock have got. The clock has got.

it's pretty wild. Does it have something to do with, uh,
how I feel today? I don't know. I don't I'm

just gonna be honest with you. I I think this
is the sickest I've ever been in my life while
trying to record a podcast, And uh, it's funny. You know,
they say, how do you know that? How do you
make God laugh? Tell him your plans? God has a

cruel sense of humor and a lot of you know,
I'm sure that I just got back into the country,
into the USA. I went down to Panama, the country
of Panama, to get stem cell treatment. And what's funny
is that when that actually I went down there for
stem cells for rheumatoid arthritis. And I'm not going to
(02:25):
talk all about that on this particular show. I'll save
that for another time. That all went very well. I
felt great when I was in Panama. But on the
way back, Lauren, my wife, and I stopped in Texas
for a while to spend some time with my in
(02:47):
laws and talk about bad timing. They were all sick.
I think it started with my brother in law and
then my sister in law and then my father and
then Lauren got it. So if I die, you know
who to blame. And yeah, yeah, Texas, boy, A lot
(03:10):
of weird stuff happened on the way back. I'm going
to talk about, you know, what happened in Texas. So anyway,
you know, I was sitting there and I was thinking, like,
I don't feel like doing a podcast, but I haven't
had the well, the past two weeks have been best
ofs and and I do want to tell you this
story about at least one of the things that I
(03:33):
bought is I bought a pig in Texas and it's
unbelievable to me. This story is amazing. Well it's kind
of a pig, but I wanted to tell that with
you tell that to you. But for the past couple
of weeks it's been best ofs because you know, I've
(03:54):
been traveling. I mean, you have to understand something here.
If you don't know this already, It's not like everybody
and the whole world hangs on to my schedule. In
less than two weeks, I made five plane flights, including
two internationals, stayed in at least three hotels, traveled well
(04:17):
over six thousand miles. I mean, it was it was
an insane schedule. And you know, I recorded some shows
in advance, and I figured I'd come back here feeling
great because I'd got my new stem cells. But yeah,
(04:39):
the plans were different, and yeah, I could have just
give me another week off. But you know what's weird.
Sometimes when I sit down and do this podcast, it
makes me feel better. And I don't know exactly how
to explain that. I I guess it's because you got
(05:01):
to dig in deep and bring, you know, bring some
energy to the surface. It's better than just laying around
in bed blowing your nose. And so, you know, I'm
sure you'll cut me some slack if this is not
the best podcast I've ever done. And by the way,
this is how I sound after cold medicine. But uh so,
(05:22):
I guess it's better than not, you know, keeping you updated.
I didn't want to leave you hanging because I do
have I think, an amazing story to share with you.
Now again, is it possible that what one of the
things that I bought in Texas also contributed to this situation.
(05:46):
I don't really know for sure, but and I'm gonna
I'm gonna try not to cough for your ear and
all that kind of stuff too much. I'm sure I'll
be fine. Don't worry about me. This was just it's
just again, it's like ironic timing show. I have so
much stuff that I'll be telling you on over the
(06:08):
next few podcasts. It's overwhelming, but I want to tell you.
Of all things, the main thing that I want to
tell you about is something that happened to me in Houston, Texas,
when I got back from Panama. So my wife, Lauren
(06:34):
is from that area. And one day we got in
the car together and we didn't really have much of
a plan, and we were driving around and she was
showing me some of her old stomping grounds and things
like that, and even she hasn't been to Texas in
quite a while. And I was on the phone on
(06:58):
my phone, you know, looking at kind of cool stuff
that we might be able to do. And I saw
this little shop that was nearby called Thorn and Moon. Now, look,
I don't have anything to do with Thorn and Moon.
I'm not sponsored by them. I have no relationship with
them whatsoever. Thorn and Moon, and it said handmade, witchcrafted,

Occult and Pagan Supplies. Now this is before I hung
out with my in laws, so you know, I was
feeling good and I was ready to get out and
explore the day. I didn't start getting sick until I
got back to my home here in Nevada, but I
(07:50):
thought this sounded interesting.

I know there are many of you who are out
there who say, Josh, you know, since you've been dabbling
into the occult something you know, it seems like sometimes
you you know, it's your health suffers. I mean like,
for example, a little over a year ago, I opened
up a portal on my property in Rachel, Nevada, next
(08:16):
to Area fifty one. I used. One of the things
that I used was a technology based on a thing
that Germans created in World War two called de Glaca,
and they stopped working on it because they said that
it Yes, the device was successful, it had an anti
(08:38):
gravity effect, but it produced some kind of harmful radiation.
So yeah, there are people who say to me, oh, oh, Josh,
you know, you shouldn't be bringing haunted things into your
house and doing these experiments. And man, maybe there's something
(08:59):
to it. I don't know, but I was fascinated and
I thought, let's go check out this little shop here
called Thorn and Moon. Website is Thorn and Andmoon dot com. Again,
knew nothing about them. I have no relationship with them.
And then Laurene and I we walked into this shop.
(09:19):
And it's weird that because the store it kind of
looks like somebody's house in an old neighborhood. And I
don't know the history of this place exactly. I mean,
I've just read a little bit on their website, so
I'm not going to act like I'm a spokesperson here.
But it looks like you're walking into somebody's house at first,
but then when you walk in, it's a really cool,
(09:42):
well put together shop, and it looks a lot bigger
on the inside than it does on the outside. And
they are all kinds of sort of like rambling rooms
that have just tons of really cool stuff. And I
go to these kinds of places whenever I've traveled all
over the world, you know, I used to work for
the Travel Channel, and I really I really enjoyed this one,
(10:05):
and as soon as I stepped inside, had a very warm,
cozy experience in there. There there were two employees there working,
one named uh Nova, the other named Olivia, and they
were super friendly. And it's important for me to tell
you this right up front. When I went in there,
(10:28):
they did not know me from Adam. They they knew
nothing about what I do for a living, not to
mention the fact that you know, I collect haunted dolls
and stuff like that, and in fact, you know, I
recently just did a couple of shows about Robert the
haunted dolls. They knew nothing about that. All I did
(10:51):
was go in there and say, Hi, we're from out
of town. I'm Joshua, this is Lauren, my wife was
raised around here. I like mysterious place is and so
and so forth. And they were like, okay, great, super friendly, warm,
welcoming atmosphere. But it's a again, it's you really have
(11:13):
to understand that they knew nothing about what I do,
because that will play a big role in what I'm
about to share with you, including some audio that I'm
going to play for you that I captured in this storm.
Because Lauren and I we said great, you know, well
we'll just look around, we'll browse around, and we stepped
(11:34):
into a room and uh, well, when we come back

all hitting me. Of course, you know, I have, like
I said, I have haunted dolls and stuff. You're at
my house, Kennedy is one of them. I'm not going
to tell you about the whole history of my haunted dolls,
but you can find that out easily. So here, Lauren
and I were at this little shop in Houston, Texas,
(15:44):
and we walked into this room. The first thing we
call our eye was this amazing taxidermied black goat that
was sort of mounted attached to I don't know, a
shelf or a trunk or something I can't recall, and
(16:07):
sort of almost hovering in knit air. An amazing looking piece.
But right below it was a.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
Doll.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
And it was a pig doll. It looked like a
little person we'll say, maybe two feet tall, with you know,
movable body. I don't know how to describe everything, but yeah,
you know, it wasn't like a statue. I mean, it
(16:42):
was a It was a doll with flexible a flexible body,
wearing a black dress. But it had the face of
a pig. And even though the face looked like it
was made out of wood, I actually it turns out
(17:04):
it's more like a clay or something. The thing most
outstanding about this pig doll is that the eyes on
this thing are just striking blue, creepy direct eyes that
look like two laser beams shooting at you. And Lauren
(17:27):
and I have a little Chihuahua named Dolly, and her
nickname is Piglet because she grunts like a pig all
the time and she has an insatiable appetite. I've had
numerous chihuahua, has never seen one that eats like this.
And so I made a comment to Lauren. I said, oh, look,
(17:49):
it's a little pig doll. Maybe we should buy that
and it'll be like our little voodoo doll for our
you know, for our chihuahua piglet. So that was the
first object that I commented on. But then we moved along.
There was so much to see in there, amazing shop.
If you've never been there and you live in the
Houston area, like I'm saying, you know, you really need
(18:11):
to go check this out. And so they had a
black cat there, I think her name was Lucy, and
she was very friendly. And so by the time we
looked around, which it took us, you know, easily half
an hour, I bought a number of things, you know,
I had number of things I was gonna buy a
(18:34):
magic wand and a little spell and all kinds of
stuff like that, a book and anyway, so finally it
was time to check out, and Lauren and I we
walked up to the register and Nova was the one
(18:57):
checking us out. And as I was talking, just making
small talk with Nova, suddenly Olivia pops out of that
first room we were in and our eyes were Olivia's
eyes were as big as saucers. And Olivia said that
pig doll moved again. Excuse me, she said that pig
(19:20):
doll moved again, and Nova goes, really, jesuys, yeah, earlier
the day was in one position, and now this, and
of course I'm listening to this, and I said, so
you said you have you have the pig doll is
haunted And then Olivia said, yeah, you know, I mean
we think so when when we first got the pig doll,
(19:42):
who was in the back room, and then right after
that somehow got into the front room and we don't
know how that happened. And it keeps moving around, and
they start telling me these stories about this doll, again
knowing nothing about who I am or the fact that
I collect these dolls. And I said, oh, how much
is that pig doll? And they told me the price
(20:05):
and I go, okay. So I go in there and
I look at the doll and I go, I would
be stupid to not buy this doll, because this never happens.
If I had walked up to that counter thirty seconds later,
I probably wouldn't have even heard this exchange. What are
the chances that I, of all people, the great and
(20:26):
terrible Joshua P. Warren, collector of haulted dolls, etc. What
happened to be standing there right when this exchange happened
between these two? And at this point I said, well,
let me explain a little bit about who I am
and what I do. And I told them who I
am and what I do, and I said, I will
(20:50):
buy this doll if you'll go on the record here
and tell everybody what you just told me. And they said,
why sure, And here's the recording that I made. Here's
what they had to say about this thing that I
was in the process of buying.

All right, So where are we and what is your name?
Speaker 5 (21:11):
We're at Thorn and Moon Apothecary in Houston, Texas, and
my name is Nova.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
Tell me about this doll I'm buying. Nova.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
So this is a Victorian morning pig doll. If I
had to describe it to you, it's it looks wooden
and it has a green dress, some little shoes, and a.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
The door just sprang open for the first time since
we've been here quite a while.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Right as she's talking.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Interesting, Oh okay, she's fanning herself.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Let's continue. What now?
Speaker 5 (21:51):
Where were we?
Speaker 4 (21:53):
Okay?

I will not continue describing the.

Doll, but so to move.

An apothecary is situated in a house in the Houston
Heights that's probably somewhere around one hundred years old. And
we have a lot of old stuff in the shop,
stuff that has been thrifted and acquired from estate sales.
And I have never felt like anything that we've brought
into the shop has been haunted. We have a Victorian
(22:23):
gravestone here, and I've never sensed any kind of spirits
or entities. But this particular doll has given me a
weird vibe for as long as it has been here,
and I could swear that it moves. It mysteriously came
into the book shop one day when its original position
(22:46):
was like in our back apothecary, completely opposite sides of
the shop. I don't know how it got into the bookroom.
I don't know if someone moved it in there, but
I could swear that it moves and it just gives
me very weird vibes.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Yeah, well, you know what, when we walked in here,
that was the first object I commented on.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
And we have a little chihuahua.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
We call her Piglet because she's she makes a little
pig noise as she grunts, and so I was like, oh,
let's tak a piglet doll for us, you know, but
there's something definitely special about this doll.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
So any other thoughts.
Speaker 5 (23:26):
It's very unsettling sometimes to see it.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
When we're closing up. At least I think, and what's
your name? My name's Olivia. I also worked at Thorn
and Moon.
Speaker 5 (23:34):
When we're turning all the lights off, I don't get
scared at all, but then I kind of look at
the doll and I get terrified. It's just a very
creepy looking doll. Yeah. I mean also that the doors
swung wide open.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Yeah, well, we can all attest to that. That happened.
All right, excellent, thank you very much. I'll let you
know what happens not only when I take our little
piglet dollt the house, but when I introduce her to.

My dolls as well, oh yeah, all right, thank.

In the middle of Nova talking about this doll, the
door of the shop just swaying open and started knocking
on the wall and it was everybody looked at each
other like, uh, okay, and it gets better. Wait wait

till you hear what happens next. Okay, we're up on
a break. Yeah, this this story gets weirder and weirder.
And I now have this doll. Can you guess what
her name is? I bet you can't, but I don't know.
Maybe we should rename this Maybe we should name the

doll something else. The doll might not be happy with

up with her father, Charlie. And you may remember I
interviewed him a while back here on the show. And
my old pal, the notorious, the infamous Hardwood Forrest Connor

at because he lives in Houston, you know, and he's
a world traveler, but he never gets sick. It seems
like I don't know what he's what he's drinking. We
met up with them at this restaurant called Taste of Texas.
I know it sounds like I'm just tossing out like
(27:46):
advertisements here, but I'm really not. Although I will tell
you that if any of you want to sponsor the show,

how this works. Tasted Texas has been around for decades,
and I had seen everybody praising it on YouTube videos,
(28:09):
and one thing I liked about it in particular was
that it was they were saying that this restaurant called
Taste of Texas is not only like a really upscale place,
but it's kind of a museum that has some interesting
artifacts and stuff. When I got online, they had over
ten thousand reviews in practically five out of five stars,
(28:31):
and so we figured we got to try, you know,
try this place out. So yeah, Lauren and I we
met up with her dad and Forest over there. One
of the things that's really cool about Taste of Texas
is when you go in there, right off the bat,
(28:54):
you see that they have the chapel doors, the original
interior chapel doors from the Alamo, on display there next
to the host and hostess youth. And I was like,
(29:19):
does how does a restaurant get that? And I looked
it up and it says that they got it through
an auction in Kentucky of all places, in late twenty
twenty two, won them by competing against other bidders and
the Alamo itself. It says the owners successfully secured the
(29:42):
artifacts by convincing the private collectors of their vision. The
collectors wanted the seventeen to fifty Spanish colonial doors to
remain in Texas and to be publicly displayed to educate youth,
and because Taste of Texas hosts over fifteen thousand Texas
(30:02):
fourth graders for history towards annually, the collectors were thrilled
to award the doors to the restaurant. So I don't
know how much they paid. I haven't been able to
find that out, but that's that's cool.

You go in there and they have a you have
a huge mounted bear, and they have an example of
Jim Bowie's knife. And by the way, I realized that
there are people who listen to this show all over
the world and I talk about the Alamo, and you
may not know what I'm talking about, but you know,
(30:38):
you look it up. Alamo, Remember the Alamo? And so
so Lauren and I and we all sit down and
we're and we're getting ready to go to the salad
bar and everything. And guess what, I got an email
(31:00):
from the shop I was just at buying the pig
doll and the email is from Nova and I'm going
to read some of it to you right now, and
I'm like, what is this? The subject line is a
Victorian pig doll update, Like what kind of an update
(31:21):
could there be? I was just there, like, you know,
two hours ago or less. Nova says, Hi Joshua, it
was a pleasure having you at Thorn and Moon today.
I'm reaching out because my coworker Olivia and I have
noticed some strange occurrences at the shop since our discussion
regarding the pig doll. We thought you might find these
(31:43):
incidents interesting for your show. She says, okay. So Nova says,
the hanging candle lights in the book shop, the room
where the pig doll used to reside, have been randomly blinking.
All right, So Nova has attached a video to this email,
(32:07):
and you can imagine they have some kind of candles
that are like battery powered candles hanging from the ceiling.
But it turns out they shouldn't be blinking, because Nova says,
the batteries in the candles are dead and they are
switched to the off setting. We have manually verified they
(32:31):
are off multiple times, yet the blinking persists. And then
Nova says, I've attached a video capturing these lights turning
on and off. Now, so the candles are turned off,
the batteries are dead, and yet something is creating the
electromagnetic power pulse and these candles are blinking. Nova goes
(32:55):
on to say. Additionally, other electronics in the shop have
been glitching and the door has swung open on its
own again. I have worked here for nearly two years,
and Olivia is also a longtime employee, and we both
feel a significant shift in the shop's energy today following
(33:17):
our conversation and the subsequent purchase of the doll. We
may just be spooked, but we wanted to share these
updates with you nonetheless, and we are anxiously waiting to
hear about your own experience with the doll. Cheers Nova,
And I'm like, guys, listen to this. By the way,
(33:37):
what a well written, well written, articulate email. And I mean,
you know a lot of people can't write an email
that well. Nova should be writing books and stuff. So
you know, I wrote Novah back, and I'm like, okay,
(33:59):
I'm psyched. So Lauren and I you know, we started
talking about this pig doll. Really okay, we got something
here and of course you of Forrest being being a
good friend of mine, says on your plane's probably gonna
crash with this doll. Screw you for And so, uh,
(34:25):
you know, Forrest and I we're practically like brothers. I
don't have a real uh like I have a sister, okay,
And I've known Forrest for sure a long long time,
probably thirty years or something like that, and so, uh,
you know, we joke with each other about stuff, and
(34:47):
so Lauren and I we start saying, like, what what
are we gonna name this this pig doll? And Lauren
comes up with the name Delia. And she does that
because there is a spooky song out there that you
may have heard, made famous by Johnny Cash, and the
(35:10):
lyrics kind of go like I don't have the rights
to play this for you, but it goes kind of
like it starts like Delia.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Oh Delia, Delia all my life.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
If I hadn't shot poor Delia.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
I'd have had her for my wife. Delia's gone. One
more around, Delia's gone. And it's about this guy who
kills this girl named Delia. And then after that he's
in prison and he says, but Jaylor, oh, Jaylor, Jaylor.
(35:47):
I can't sleep because all around my bedside, I hear
the pattern of Delia's feet. Delia's gone. One more around
Dehlia's gone. So he's haunted and his jail cell by
the ghost of this girl he killed. And Lauren's like,
that's a great name for the pig doll.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
I'm like, A, I don't know. I looked into that.
By the way, you know what, that's based on a
real incident. This is actually, this is kind of disturbing. Actually,
this is disturbing. Let's see what did I find out?
Says that it's best known due to Johnny Cash blah
blah blah, but it has the origins in a real
(36:32):
life murder that took place in Savannah, Georgia on Christmas
Eve of nineteen hundred. A fourteen year old girl named
Delia was shot and killed by her fifteen year old boyfriend. Well,
I don't even want to read anymore about that. You
can look that up yourself. But so I didn't even
(36:54):
know that until today. And I'm like, I don't know.
Maybe this pig doll does not like being named Delia.
So we brought Delia back to the house here. Finally,
in Las Vegas where I live, and I put her
right the right there next to Kennedy, my my hauted dog, Kennedy.
(37:16):
And Okay, we're up on a break. When we come back,
I'm gonna tell you what's been happening there, and then
I'm going to finish up by telling you also about
a few other interesting things, maybe the forest and I

back to the house with this pig doll named Delia
here where I live in Las Vegas, and we sat

Delia in the little chair right there next to Kennedy,
the haunted ventriloqual figure that I own thanks to George
Norian Tom Dannheiser. And right after that, one of the
lights behind the chair in the corner turned itself on
(39:05):
and would start randomly blinking the next day, I was
sitting nearby by myself and I heard a knocking sound
coming from over there. It actually kind of freaked me
out because it sounded like somebody was knocking on the window.
I haven't even told Lauren about that. When I forgot so,
(39:26):
I frequently will keep a camera on my haunted dolls,
but I didn't have one set up, so I ran
and grabbed one, and as we speak, I have a
motion activated camera sitting on both Kennedy and dealing Delia.
(39:50):
I thought about going down and you know, because I'm mean,
I have a studio here at my house, and I
thought about bringing Dehlia into the studio right now, you know.
So as I was, as I'm sitting here talking, I
could I could be looking at her. But then I
was like, no, I don't want to do that, right yeah,
(40:11):
I don't know Dhlia well enough yet. Dlia's under observation.
Dlia is in quarantine. Delia is in a controlled, a
SEMILI controlled environment with cameras on her, And at some
point I may bring Dlia into the studio and sit
(40:34):
here and look into her piercing blue, pale blue pig
eyes and talk to you more about her. But for now,
I think, you know, I just need to start focusing
a little bit more on getting over this cold or
whatever I have, and that's what manifestation tools help with,
(40:56):
as well as just rest and relaxation. I do feel better. However,
since I started recording the podcast, Well, like I say,
it's weird, how that's a phenomenon if you do, if
you work in media, you start digging deep inside and
pulling up your charisma. But yeah, you know, I'll tell you.
(41:22):
Forrest and I we went out. We had adventures in Texas.
Forest He's always been an adventurous guy like myself. And
you know, they told me when I got my stem
cells down in Panama, they said, don't drink any alcohol
(41:45):
for a month a month, And I was like, well, look,
I didn't pay them thirty thousand dollars for them to
tell me not to drink for a month. I mean,
like I could do that for free. It's like and
then but then the doctor's like, hey, you know, I'm like, okay.
So when I was in Texas, I like to go
(42:08):
to old, old bars because that's where the good stories are.
So Forrest and I ended up going to this bar
called they're in Houston called La Carafe, which I think
is Spanish for some kind of a decanter or something.
(42:28):
Old old building dates back to the eighteen hundreds. They
say Sam Houston spent the night there at one point
and so. But the problem was when I went in there,
I mean, let me tell you, it was one of
those old bars, and it has a big haunted history.

r A f A. Wh When you walk in, like
(42:51):
you immediately feel the age and smell that rich old aroma,
and it's a good aroma. I like, like, I mean,
it smells and looks old, and the bar is it's
a big wooden bar with things that are etched in
from generations ago. You know, it's cool. But the music
(43:15):
was so loud in there that you know, you could
barely talk to you. I was like the boy said
to the bartender, I said, can you tell many of
the ghost stories? And we can. I couldn't even air
what he was saying. And uh so, I mean, like,
look that's I know, that's not what necessarily pays the bills,
but I would have liked to have asked the one
(43:37):
person I saw there who was in a position of,
you know, some authority to tell me more about the
history or I just you know, when I go to
a bar, I would like to know more about the
stories and the legends and all that. And uh, I
think a lot of bars miss out on that if
they don't have if they if the environment is not
(44:00):
conducive to that that kind of conversation. And then but
right near it, in downtown Houston was another bar called
Warrens w A R R E n S. I put
a picture of this on my x feed. It's just
type which is used to be Twitter now it's X.
You know, just type in Joshua P. Warren Twitter or
Joshua P. Warren X and you can see some pictures
(44:21):
from my experiences. I don't think I've ever been around
a bar named Warrens before. So that was cool. Now
that was a different story. We went into Warrens and
in there you could actually talk to the people who
worked and they were great, and they knew the history
and they knew the stories and they knew the legends,
(44:41):
and they were telling me, like one bartender was like
I've seen a glass, you know, fly off of this
bar more than once, and then another bartender had an
experience when she was touched by something on the head,
and I'm like, this is cool, Like I like that
place because you could just sit down and have a
(45:02):
normal conversation. Now, later this year, I'm going to be
fifty years old, so maybe I'm just becoming a grumpy
old man, but I prefer to sit down and be
able to have a conversation if I want to without
having my ear drums blown out. And then finally, on
(45:28):
this trip, Forrest and I we decided to go to
this place that they considered the oldest continuously operating a
bar in a Houston called the West Alabama Ice House,
operating since nineteen twenty eight. And apparently I was talking
(45:49):
to Lauren's father, Charlie, and these old ice houses they
literally back in the day they would sell you ice.
But we also would have a little bar off to
the side, and this was marketed as a dive bar.
So I said to Forest, I go, man, this might
be this might be tough a dive bar. And here
(46:10):
in Texas general, there might be some creepy bikers in there.
You know. It's like one of those scenes from Peewee's
Big Adventure or something, and so we got to be
tough when we go there in Forrest says, yeah, it's
kind of a seedy part of town. So just the
two of us, because we're the only two who can
(46:34):
tolerate such intimidation. We were driving there and we start
passing all the types of shops that you would imagine
you might find and on that side of town, I'm like, oh, yeah,
this is gonna be rough. And then we get in
there and it's just like a bunch of kids with
their dogs. You go to the bartender, You're like, what
(46:58):
kind of Texas whiskey do? Oh, we don't sell liquor,
it's only beer and wine. Oh well, I'll have as
halving on Blocton please. By the way, it's trivia nights.
And then Forrest and are like, oh, we're going to
dominate all these children at trivia. And then even though
we came in halfway through the game, still, I mean,
(47:19):
the first question was like in the show Sex and
the City, who play what profession was emeric? Whatck? So
that was not my idea of a Texas diive bar.
But we ended up in a place that was pretty cool.
Called Roswell's Saloon, and that's the kind of place you
(47:42):
would expect to be here in Las Vegas. Roswell's Saloon,
and it was like all it was like a two
story place, all black like kind of stuff with they
had like a ten foot tall alien and all kinds
of alien themed stuff. And look up Roswell's Saloon. We
liked it in there. That was a cool place. Well,
my friends, the clock have got. The clock has got.
