Speaker 9 (02:02):
He's into artifacts like that, he is.

Speaker 7 (02:06):
I think a lot of these new female rappers might
buy because the bars is trash and it might help.
It might actually helps. I'm sorry what you telling me?
It don't sound like a lot of artists going there
reading off of an iPhone going like this, like did
you tell me?

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I don'thing like that? A lot of wrapping on something
like that, Like I'm in a club, kicking it in
a club. Then I turned the page.

Speaker 7 (02:24):
Club club, Club, Club Love club, thinking my mouth.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
You gotta put that in there. You gotta put that
in there.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
But not a lot of you said a lot of
some of the female artists that you're feeling.

Speaker 7 (02:41):
I love Cardi being a huge fan, big friend of
mine too, So you know, you know on each other
for a long time. Big shoutout Tolu on how we
both you know, we used to kick it back in
the day. And like Nicki Minaj, of course, a lot
of a lot of huge women out here that's killing
the game right now.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Story about Cardi B said that you guys used to
be in the strip clubs.

Speaker 7 (03:00):
Oh my god, I'm knowing Cardi B for I want
to say, oh my god, oh what ten years we
started in strip club together. We used to hold stuff
together and I used to always tell Cardi, but, like Cardi,
you are so freaking funny. If you just take what
you say on Instagram and you put that out there,
you're gonna blow up. I even took it as so
far as trying to get on mad differ TV shows.
We shot our own TV show called Off the Rip,
and we actually got in trouble because she played Martin

(03:23):
Luther King's wife.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
She played correcting in a sketch. Oh, yeah, this off
the rip thing. We was doing the Real Housewives of
the Civil Rights Movement. It was a funny sketch.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
It was fire, where is it?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
No?

Speaker 5 (03:38):
That was so funny.

Speaker 7 (03:39):
So what we were trying to do is show how
crazy these these housewives shows and these wild shows are.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
So we was making funny. So were just showing it
what it'd have been like if you took the civil
rights ladies and you.

Speaker 6 (03:47):
Had to put it got to get a bully like that?

Speaker 10 (03:50):
Why why is Corena get a bullet just because Cardi played?
Because she don't look likeda Why this is party? So
she was define when Bodak was out. Bodak was out
by the end. When we were doing that, it was
just fine. But it was a lot of funny.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Sketchus was going was her name big Red or.

Speaker 10 (04:08):
No?

Speaker 7 (04:08):
It was just it was a great show. It's coming out.
We didn't put it out yet, but it's it's really funny.
It had a lot of funny people on Tiffany Hattis.
A lot of people did that show back and we.

Speaker 6 (04:16):
Said, yet, so you're putting it out.

Speaker 7 (04:18):
Yeah, we definitely gonna put it out. It's so many
different episodes over it's so funny. We sell her in
for a minute, I think I'm gonna go, ahad release
it just because looking at you all reactions to all
the stuff doing.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
When she did the whole bab that was funny too.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
Who the other house was, Oh.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
My god, you just gotta see it.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Sexy Red and.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Definitely that would be definitely I could see sexy REDS wanted.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
To right, sexy Red gonna Betty?

Speaker 5 (04:41):
You think she could be that? I'm asked she directed
producing it.

Speaker 10 (04:46):
Right now, we're gonna get sexy Red.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
St me out.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
No.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
One person probably ain't gonna make it. That was Lizz
though she's in trouble right now. Dad is suing her.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
Some of the stuff is just stupid.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
I'm sorry, like someone being like I was accused of
drinking before performing, so what like.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Why why is this stuff happened on tour?

Speaker 8 (05:13):
Like I was reading some of the stuff where they
said they had they went to a strip club or
something they had to.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Touch on asterdam So let me just break it down
real quick. They're suing her for sexual harassment and creating
a hostile work environment. Uh, and they found this lawsuit
in La on Tuesday, and one of the girls, Noel Rodriguez,
accused Lizzough of weight shaming and claimed that she forced
them to touch NWD performers while in a strip club

(05:38):
in Amsterdam.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
They said that they were coerced. My thing is, who
don't touch titties.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
At the strip club?

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Like, who don't touch at the strip club?

Speaker 6 (05:45):
You don't got to touch nobody you don't want to touch.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
But but some of these claims were so ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Some people were fired on the spot.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
That's what happens in real life. When people don't like
you at work, where your boss don't like you, they
fire you. You can't sue somebody for that.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Like, and the weight shaming thing was kind of really
funny sounding to me because it's has always been an
advocate about body.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
So Lizzo woke up one day and said, well, you're
too fat.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
You fired your borderline.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
Really, I.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Don't I don't believe that.

Speaker 7 (06:18):
I'm hard to believe because me and Lizzo have the
same body. So I feel like what I feel like,
I just think that's weird. If she was fast shaming,
I mean she was saying I was reading some of
it to this thing and she was getting mad for
women gaining weight. I was like, oh, yeah, your staff
is gonna gain weight because you have the after party
of Golden Crown.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
I mean, everybody, everybody's gaining weight. Litzo like to eat.
You heard the door dash thing when she got mad
or door Dash ordered in come. Litzo eat like I eat.
She eats weird foods, like tweaking with cheese on end
ox tail. Saying was just like, I like, well, you.

Speaker 8 (06:47):
Know, you know what this story to me is kind
of it's kind of crazy because I met Lizzo in
l a backstage at a concert and all of her
friends kind of looked.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
Like her, like have like that.

Speaker 8 (07:03):
Yeah, they was like big bone girls like they all.
So I'm like, so if you fired your.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Backup dance sounds crazy.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
It just sounds weird because I'm like, that's crazy.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
So do you guys believe it?

Speaker 10 (07:14):
No?

Speaker 5 (07:14):
I don't believe.

Speaker 7 (07:15):
I don't think linebackers we fire other linemakers.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
I'm sorry this comes from a fat person. I can
say this.

Speaker 6 (07:29):
It's a range they trying. I'm sorry if it did happen.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
I'm sorry that you guys were in a hostile work environment.

Speaker 6 (07:36):
I just I don't think it happened either.

Speaker 9 (07:38):
And I've been to a sex club in Amsterdam and yeah,
and I've been to a strip club of co workers.
And the reason why it works is because we're actually friends.
I feel like little probably like trusted these people. And
now these people are mad because they got fired for
drinking on the job.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
And they're like, but she made me.

Speaker 9 (07:55):
Touch acid titties, Like no, but you voluntarily.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
That makes it like mixed. They don't know how to
do business and then mix you personal.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
It was.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
It just sounds like we thought we were friends, but
this is business.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
They had chamber.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
They waited for a moment for Lizzo to make them mad,
and they were like, you know what, I'm about to
flip the script and say that this scenario was actually this,
and I was uncomfortable.

Speaker 9 (08:15):
I would like to see them do a red table
talk Lizzo and the dancers. I don't even know if
that show Yoh, but something just because you talk, you're not.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Gonna fight will occur. You think, so if you saw me,
we're gonna have to fight. So you try to put
a whole new show, Big Batties.

Speaker 9 (08:29):
It's gonna be on both sides. I want to hear
both sides because that's time I was on LA b
T weekends. Some dancers was complaining to me about how
they're underpaid and overworked and this that and the they
ain't say nothing about bananas and asses and all this.
But I feel like there might be validity to both sides.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Yeah, eating a banana out of vagina.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
Yeah wait, they said that happened.

Speaker 9 (08:55):
Yeah, but that's the type of club that it was, like, Wow,
that's what it's called like the it's like district.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Oh yeahh godcha. Potassim is important, matter the way you
get it. Let's put staff field, put.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Michaels hearing the ball show we're going.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
I know, I'm canceling.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Lawyer is pushing for probation ahead of his citizen hearing.
He's facing twenty two years, and his team wants to,
you know, have him do probation and complete a substance
abuse program for him to you know, they're just trying
to get him out of jail quick.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
I mean, I don't think you know, the judge is
gonna allow it. I just don't see it happening. And
I always jail on no man, especially twenty two years.
I mean that's crazy. I mean that's I mean, he's shot.
He shot and not go bad. I guess he'll be
on tour with R. Kelly and he's believing Canada to

(09:56):
a kaated community. This all. I don't think they're gonna
be the same.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
They don't got it.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
You don't think that you still got to go all
the places jail too. He's just not done. You gotta
go to New York lea.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
I think y'all think Carlie Russell is going to be
in one of them jails.

Speaker 6 (10:19):
Carlely got to do.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
The time depends on the lawyer.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
M M.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
I think that's what that girl what I wanted her
to do.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Lawyer, I don't know what happened. So I'm a little
lost girl.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
I mean a girl who faked her kidnapped.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Oh that girl, that's what he's talking about. Oh, the
fake kidnapping girl. It's no boyfriend booked in Atlanta or something.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, he had his party already. What did y'all think
about that?

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Wait?

Speaker 5 (10:44):
Was he actually there?

Speaker 1 (10:45):
That was really? I didn't know that was the thing.
He was there at search and rescue party? Yeah, he
was there?

Speaker 5 (10:56):
Was he there.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yes, he was there.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
You actually, man, I think they had to see if
he was real.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
It was Search and Rescue party Rebel Nightclub in Atlanta.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Let me just say my shout out to my boy
Blake Hall of Fame promotion scene.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
Y'all did one with that one. Okay, that was such
a smart move.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Everybody is talking about Carlie Russell's ex boyfriend looking for
love and Helena.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
I needly got her name. It is carl Russell's ex
boy that's all of this.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
I want to know how much he got paid.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
It wasn't for the party.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
It wasn't a lot to us, but for someone who
literally doesn't you know, he's not an influencer. He just
he's just hot right now because of you're lying ass girlfriend.

Speaker 6 (11:38):
He's you know, he took a little bag.

Speaker 5 (11:39):
Man go on tour.

Speaker 7 (11:41):
Wow, I mean I heard that she's doing stuff. I
just looked up on my phone two seconds ago. She's
doing a tour with Jesse Smelett supposed to go on.
They have a song with Shaggy.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
It wasn't me. Uh, it's just a whole plethorough things
they're doing.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
With his name.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
His real name is Thomas. Look if you trying to
find love in Atlanta. You ain't gonna do nothing but
find more. Carly's okay. A lot of women here are liars.
Know that, y'all know what's up.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Speaking of love is our time to get to our
next segment. We call it love versus Money.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Wait?

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Did this in a minute?

Speaker 11 (12:17):
Yes, it's love versus money on the ball or Alert show.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
So I'm gonna give a couple and you guys let
me know if they're there for the love or if
it's just about business. All right, today's love versus Money.
We have Joy Badass and actress Soreah.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
You think they're there for the love of the money.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I hope it's love.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
They're a cute coupling. To me, I think it's love.
I don't see no funny business this one, though.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Actually I would say.

Speaker 9 (12:45):
Love because previously, before dating her, Joy was saying on
the Breakfast Club how he's into polygamy.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
And yeah, and I don't see he might still be,
though I don't think she's going for that.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
You never want to talk to her on our show
or here on the Bars live and we asked her
about her Joy she said they hadn't but this was
fresh off of her and Jacob's breakup and yeah, they.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Were well not even just that, but they had put
out that tea, so everybody thought they were dating.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
She was like, no, we're actually not. We just put
that out, but they come to find out they are.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I don't really. I actually brought up the Breakfast Club
interview to her and told her what he said, and
she was just like, oh no, but now she ain't.
I could have wonder her.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
You never know, he got a good one.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Yeah, I think he should. That's a that's a cute couple.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
But I like them.

Speaker 9 (13:32):
I don't trust when people be like, nah, we ain't dating,
because Tink and hit Maker did that too for like
two years and then now we see them on vacations
and ship and I'm here for it together.

Speaker 8 (13:41):
I think so.

Speaker 9 (13:42):
I hope so niggas who we wrecks together, nigga, we
said that to him.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
At this point, we're making money.

Speaker 8 (13:49):
I'm say I'm say love. Even though she came up
here and lied, well, you know, you know I was
I was not trying to shoot my shot. It was
not what I was trying to do.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
He was trying to shoot his shot.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
He came here with his good clothes on too. Man,
it was raids.

Speaker 7 (14:08):
He was My braids is always fresh, that is true.
I've seen it braids last night and that fresh. You
got your rebring it last night.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Oh no, I saw somebody bringing his hand in the car.
He was sitting on the floor on the outside of
the car, the car that was open.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Rip Michaels, Now a Samoe right here on the Baller
Alert Show. Will be right back with more.

Speaker 11 (14:24):

But we're gonna get into knowing you guys a little
bit better. We'll start with Rip Michaels. You know, give
us a little background for those who don't know. I
see you got the wild and our shirt on.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
Oh yeah, I stole this from some dude outside.

Speaker 7 (15:00):
No, yeah, I've been a while off for a while,
also producer of the Wilder and created a while now
tour or something I created as well.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
It's probably with like fifteen hundred people and turned into
like a fifty city tour. But two years in DJ
Envy was calling you, Jami, call me because he's on
my fall Back in Love too. We do that too.
That's another tour that I create. It's all about me
taking my friends. Oh yeah, and I do the April Fools. Yeah,
we that's this is the Fallback and love to it
that with that made their famous thing. I'm not even
gonna get into that. Uh that famous tour that you

(15:27):
heard that somebody said it wasn't gonna be a tour.
That actually was a tour that somebody said back in
the day on the Breakfast Club that is not gonna
be here for a while because he's going away and
he's gonna be incarcerated for some time.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Oh who said that? Right?

Speaker 3 (15:41):
What?

Speaker 5 (15:41):
I know you're talking about? Who is we were just
talking about exactly?

Speaker 7 (15:45):
Yeah, So yeah, I just been doing a lot of things,
also Urban East and Treats, which is the show where
I go around the country showing that we had great
stuff to eat, our neighborhoods. I came to Atlanta, we
did toast Jack took him to a lot of his
great restaurants. So if you can imagine diners, drives, and dives,
but with celebrities taking to their favorite space to eat,

(16:06):
that's just what that is.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
It's super cool. We shine like doing COVID.

Speaker 7 (16:09):
It's something I created thing covid because a lot of
businesses are feeling a lot of restaurants are failing. So
we shot that and just been shining light on a
lot of different things and so and it's fall back
in love to a twenty Days.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Where are you from?

Speaker 5 (16:18):
I am originally from Chicago, Illinois, but I live in
New York.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
So, okay, do you like living in New York?

Speaker 3 (16:22):
I do.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
I love New York because I love like I feel
like Atlanta's like a little New York. Because you'll got
the Jamaicans, y'all got the Haitians, y'all got the train
of Daddy's, y'all got the guy in these So it's
like a little little bit of home. When I get here,
I feel like, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
The air just smells better now.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
La Simone knows something about New York.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
You lived there, right, Yeah, I been there ten years.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Okay. Where are you from? Originally Maryland?

Speaker 6 (16:41):
Okay, it was closed down the street, yeah a little bit.

Speaker 9 (16:44):
I'm an army brat a family from Florida. I got
a failing in Atlanta too, bird as well.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Yeah, I'm okay. But how did you get into range
and all that? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (16:55):
Yeah, I started in college radio, so I moved to
New York City to go to Saint John's and Queens
because my fair rapper went there.

Speaker 6 (17:01):
Shout out to JCO.

Speaker 9 (17:04):
When I was out there, I was a computer science major,
but I was just doing like a radio show for fun,
and I would like DJ for fun, not taking it seriously.
But I was able to like blow up my radio show,
blow up my blogs that I was doing at the time.
And then I started working at the Source Magazine from
the Source Magazine and started entering that power under Angie Martinez.

(17:24):
Then I graduated and I just stayed working there. Like
they tried to kick me out the building, but I
became friends with the janitor. I became friends with like security,
so that they would let me in and I would
go up there. I would work for the Breakfast Club.
I would work for Angie Pro, DJ Sof, DJ Clue,
whoever I could work with, and they helped me get
better at my craft, you know, from like talking on

(17:45):
Mike's to you know, how to blend, how to rock
a mic, how to do X, Y and Z. So
really I feel like I just I learned from everybody
in there just being a sponge and respect your house.
So yeah, So fast forward seven years later. You know,
I got a Sunday night show on Power one five
point one. I got a segment on the Breakfast Club
called Past the Ox where I keep trying me in

(18:06):
an envy hip to like the new music.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Music, and we're gonna do that live show they talking
about I am.

Speaker 6 (18:13):
I'm doing it August twenty fifth.

Speaker 9 (18:15):
That is pressure, okay, I'm I'm a creative, like a
real creative, So having to organize things and like playing
and stuff like that, that's like a whole new layer.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
I'm unpacking what live show y'all doing.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
It's called Past the Ox Lives.

Speaker 9 (18:31):
We're just going to do a showcase for like the
new artists that I'm putting them onto.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Oh godch with somebody you need to holler at you
got any tips for you know, doing live shows and
things of that nature. Written you would have been experienced about.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
You walked in here like a sports agent. Oh did
he sposed to be the one on the phone, But
never mind you. You know, it's just so I apologize
walking here. I am in St. Smoker.

Speaker 7 (19:00):
We're trying to do something that's never been done Atlanta.
We're doing seventeen thousand people and I don't know if
you realize, but this show has only been on sale
for three weeks, so no one sells out thirteenthos. I
mean seventeen thousand seats and three weeks and we're doing
it in a round. And I did the same thing
in the Garden when I did The Wild Now too,
and I produced that and promoted that there and we
did twenty two thousand people on a Thursday at the
Garden two weeks.

Speaker 5 (19:19):
I know you're like, why am I doing it in
two weeks.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
It's just that, you know, I was always a single father,
so I raised my daughter by myself, so I always
when I got into these things, had to do it.
And it's such a fast paced, so I always was there.
I never missed anything for my daughter from the entire
time and never missed one game, one fencing thing. And
I've been raised my daughter since she's two years old
and she just graduated from LSU and she's on the
way to live. So it's just that that I've always

(19:43):
made sure, not that I'm I just got married. My
wife's over there to the Indian lady right there just
falling asleep on the couch, that's her right.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
I went to the gay party. Would be t last
night at party on a whole another level.

Speaker 7 (19:58):
When I tell you this brother party on the whole
other level. When you put your glass down, somehow he
has another glass.

Speaker 5 (20:04):
He was like, oh, here you go.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
You even leave.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
I was like, y'all want something drink?

Speaker 3 (20:09):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
You're gonna make sure I have a good time.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Three shots and was like, yeah, I'm done. I said, listen,
water to get water to the wrestlude. Gave me a
shot to drink in the bathroom my pee, I washed
my hand and he's like here you go.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
I'm like, I'm not.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
I said this for patriots, not for patrol. So he
was definitely a beast with it.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
But my advice to give me you because like I
started doing it promoting because people wouldn't put me on stage.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
If I moved to New York, I was homeless. I'm
not from there. I moved there with my daughter.

Speaker 7 (20:36):
And when I know a lot of people say the homeless,
but I was homeless, homeless like New York homeless, the
people you see in the blanket and sleeping on the
street and selling Metro swipes and he out of the
trash can. And my daughter was two years old, so
I would go in the hotels and get her milk
and different things like that. So that journey was so
hard because I really wanted to know if I had
what it takes to be comed to be a comedian,
and a lot of New York comics wouldn't put me on.
So that's how I got into promoting anything anyway. It

(20:58):
was just so I could get stage time. So I
was like, I'm not gonna stand out lining this comedy
club for weeks after weeks while.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
You just shit on me and not put me on.

Speaker 7 (21:04):
I'm gonna go to Applee' I'm gonna go here, I'm
gonna go w whatever, and I'm gonna create my own shows.
And that's what I kept doing, and I got kidd
so popular from doing that that, people were like, hell,
rip put me on. And I always wanted that opportunity.
So my too is like, come on, you know what,
We're gonna do this together. You want you want to
get on. Same thing with fall Back in Love, it
was just me a whole much people. Trade was going
through this stuff, and I was like, let's get it
to it together. Come on, let's all go. We all
got stuff going on. Let's just see what happens. And

(21:25):
we started selling out in the arena. The same thing
with the while OWT to it. It was Nick saying, hey,
you know what, I wish I could sell out arenas.
And I was like, bro, you my big bro, you
looked out for so many people.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
I'm gonna do that.

Speaker 7 (21:34):
I'm gonna put that on my back and I'm gonna
do that for you and lo and behold that's what
it turned into. So my advice for you is that
you can definitely do it. It's just reaching out to
the people, staying connected and believing in it, because everybody
gonna tell you it's not gonna work. Like I had,
Stay Farm called me twenty times saying cancel the show.
You only sold this so many tickets, but I promise
you Saturday, seventeen thousand, what is the show fall Back
in Love? It's me Monica, ja Queeze, DC, Young Fly, Besimone,

(21:57):
just hilarious. I am Zoey Man.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
You just you got a star cast.

Speaker 7 (22:03):
And I got like ten other artists that are just
probably gonna do surprise, just play some games with It's
has some fun with us in a couple of other performances.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
It's the comedy and music jams. So they're giving us music,
they're giving us comedy. We're gonna sing and cry and
reminisce about that man that hurt me laugh, you know,
or that.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Conviction.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
And if that man hurts you, watch on the show.

Speaker 7 (22:26):
Anybody to come to the fall Back of Love to
if you're in a domestic violence relationship or your man
ain't treat you right, just come bring him to the show.
And when you get a front row ticket, just point
to Monica. She will jump off stage and kick him
in his face. That's right, it's called That's how it's
called the Monica Meet and Beat. Not a meet and greet,
it's meet and beat. So you get your laugh on
in your revenge at the same time, because Monica she
jumped in the audience in Detroit to take people.

Speaker 9 (22:49):
You already know that is so she just that would
be a great episode with the Boondocks.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
So good about the boon Docks is Monica can only
know O kung Fu moves.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
Oh yeah, that was my show.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
I was like that, How do you guys feel about
Cancel Culture?

Speaker 5 (23:06):
You think Richard prob would be successful in this day
and age.

Speaker 7 (23:10):
No, No, it's very hard. I mean if you look
at Cancel Culture, people don't really take a joke.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
Now.

Speaker 7 (23:16):
No matter what I say, I'm probably gonna get a
million emails in this podcast and being fitted at lord stuff.
I said, so with people that have the same back
as me. So it's just a weird thing to be
in that. It's really hard to be a commuity because
everybody's super sensitive, Like you can't say this, you can't
say that, you can't do things.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
So it's really hard to be funny and you gotta
draw that line.

Speaker 7 (23:33):
I mean, as creative as we are, sometimes we just
share our opinion, and now it's hard to have an
opinion for things.

Speaker 8 (23:38):
I think that's why movies aren't as funny as they
used to be, Like when I looked at movies and
I looked at like, you know, the stuff what happens
with like in the WWE, And I was like, man,
all this stuff was so funny and entertaining. And then
it's like now, I was watching a movie on Netflix.
I can't remember what it was, and I was like, man,
these guys are trying to be so pg funny that
it's kind of like cringey up watch that. Like I

(24:01):
could tell, like, Okay, they're like overacting on trying to
be funny without trying to like offend people.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
It is.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
And I was telling my homeboy, uh, my friend, what's
this guy's name? Just hilarious yesterday? And I was telling
him hilarious. Justine a really good guys.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Man. I don't know why, Jessica.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Stay just stay man too. I don't know, you know what,
I'm not gonna get it to y'all find out.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Magazine.

Speaker 7 (24:34):
Yes, I did, I know Justina. I called Justina right now.
She would tell you she's a man too. I'm joking.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
I'm right here on the ball.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
You think I'm joking. I'm calling Justina right now, right now,
you're on ball alert.

Speaker 7 (24:48):
Say what's up, Justina, that's my guy right there, that's
my guy, Justina.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
You and what I love about He.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Was the first cast member to come out of the
closet and he's so great for that.

Speaker 9 (25:02):
Oh my god, y'all just see the next time.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
You at you got to come to the ball on
our show.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Oh you already know, like and your setup looks fire.
I love that things getting purple color right there.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
He was just telling us how you were really a man.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
You know that she looks just like a father. Will
you tell them that you're a man, Justine. They don't
believe was joking.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Listen.

Speaker 6 (25:21):
So on Saturday, what.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
I need you guys to do, Lady, I give you
the permissions lift just like you know, grab rap down
there like a trump dish. And then.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
On Saturdays, thank you Justin, We love I appreciate you.
Well This Saturday, the Fallback Tour, the fall Back in Love,
the Fallback of Love Tour. Let us know all about
it one more time where they buy tickets all that
it's gonna be on.

Speaker 7 (25:55):
Takeing master dot com, fall Back and Love dot comm
And this is the tour. So it's just I think
it's our twelve stop and Atlanta and we're going back
out in September another twenty days, so it's coming to
a city New Year.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
It's music and comedy merged.

Speaker 7 (26:06):
So normally when you go to concert and you see
a musical acting, you gotta wait ten fifteen minutes for
the next one comedy go right, and half in another comedian,
and then another artist in another comedy, another artist. It
is a non stop party for two and a half
hours straight.

Speaker 6 (26:18):
But you're giving some tickets away too, right, So.

Speaker 7 (26:20):
Listen, we're going to give away two tickets courtesy of
ball Alert and two backstage passes to whatever they want
you to do, they're gonna tell you, and you're gonna
come there. You can get a baller Alert behind the
scenes experience for the Fall Back in Love Music and
Comedy Gym courtesy of ball Alert and Rip Michael.

Speaker 11 (26:34):
What they gotta do to be tyta do?

Speaker 4 (26:38):
You guys were just talking about cancel culture?

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Yeah, I about saying what they gotta do? They gotta
do nothing, they gotta do.

Speaker 6 (26:45):
So all they gotta do is repost that just reposted
and town us.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
That's all you have to do, all right, repost tag
that's see it.

Speaker 5 (26:54):
So no but no potassium, no, no, no, No, Samon,
What you Got Go?

Speaker 1 (27:00):
What you Got?

Speaker 9 (27:00):
Coming up past the coming August twenty fifth, and podcasts
podcast What Hip Hop Podcast with Mounts Jones.

Speaker 6 (27:08):
I have another podcast, We Need to Talk, which is
just an.

Speaker 9 (27:11):
Interview series but just upcoming influencers, artists.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Money.

Speaker 9 (27:16):
I have an AMP show with Amazon with me and
gay p gavee from On the Radar if you're familiar
with On the Radar, but it's super dope.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
Yah Drake just did the comment day. Yeah, he just
did that freestyle they gave.

Speaker 9 (27:29):
So me and him have a show where we do
like music reviews but cover albums and we'll just talk
about like things like this kind of similar to this.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
So just tapping right.

Speaker 9 (27:38):
Anybody follow her at at Nilsimo n Y l A
S Y m O N E e E.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Follow Rip Michael's ad Jamaican.

Speaker 7 (27:47):
It's actually Ripped Mike Heels because I used my comedy
when I first got into comedy.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
It's R I P and my C H E A
L S.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
I know.

Speaker 7 (27:54):
So yeah, so when I first got in a comedy,
I got discovered I was a comedian because at my
grandmother's funeral, my parents and body was crying, so hard.
I started doing impressions at the funeral with my grandmother
and when I realized it took people paying away for
a little bit, That's where the whole Mike Heels come from.
So I always try to just use my craft to
take away someone's day because you never know what someone's
going through.

Speaker 5 (28:13):
You never know what that happened at their job. And
if I can just come to one of my shows,
have a great time and take away something, it means something.

Speaker 7 (28:19):
Man, That's what I feel comedy is about. I know
I'm Joki Joki, but that's what it really means. I
love to see people laugh because you never know what
they're going through. Mental health is so so so dope.
And I got a podcast my wife's called Dark Truth Heels.
And I also got another podcast with just Seine and
Connell that we call No Holds Bart that we do
when touring around the country. And I'm taping my first
ever special in October at the Apollo, so you'll be

(28:41):
seeing that October.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
Look, I think you might be working harder than Nick Cannon.
I thought Nick Cannon been working harder.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Between Nne, Michaels, everybody just hustling. We love to see it.
We're so grateful for y'all to pull up on us
and make sure y'all come back anytime your atl Please

What's up, guys, I'm now Simone and you are now
tuned into The Baller Alert Show.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
Mess It, Dear ball Alert love the Show.

Speaker 8 (29:20):
I've been dating this man for about two months and
a big red flag came up.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
He's still legally married.

Speaker 8 (29:27):
Him and his wife live apart and both are dating,
but they are legally married.

Speaker 5 (29:32):
Should I trip about this or should I just leave?

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I mean, if she's unhappy with it, then leave.

Speaker 9 (29:37):
But if there's something good there, you see something in that,
then I would try to get him to finalize that divorce.

Speaker 7 (29:44):
Okay, Well, my parents have been together for forty two years,
believe or nine. They been cheating on each other for
forty one years. So I'm gonna tell you I did.
I didn't even know.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
When I was a kid. My dad us maybe call
a girlfriend auntie. I didn't know.

Speaker 7 (29:55):
That woman Auntie Jockey. I had no idea. I didn't
know that were my Auntie Jockey. The one day I
came home when I was like, Mama, look at Unty
Jockey Bomen, she was like that ain't your unty.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
That's your daddy. Girlfriend.

Speaker 7 (30:04):
Now get outside. Your uncle Craig gonna take it to
the two. I had an uncle Craig and anunty Jacket.
That's all I'm trying to say. And my parents are
still together and that is a true true story out
in Chicago. Yeah, my parents my mom from Louisia, my
dad from Chicago. So I will tell her in that situation, girl,
get going. It ain't gonna be no better. You're gonna
be calling this love triangle, So get your bags, get
out and move on. Love yourself first. You gotta love

(30:24):
who you are and what you're about, because you can't
love somebody else.

Speaker 5 (30:27):
If you don't love you.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Do what he said, Yeah, keep you in your parents' case.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
I mean, it was cool having two moms like a
mom and a mom's ex mom and two dads at
the same time. Because I always use I can always
use leverages like ooh, mom, you don't two what I eggs.
I'm gonna tell you dad about your boyfriend, and was like,
don't tell and I'll be like, Dad, you know you
didn't come home yesterday. So it was just like what
All the time, I didn't know. I really thought that
was my aunty. I called it Aunty Jockey till I

(30:54):
was about fourteen years old. That's when I found out
a yeap. She had a Camaro with t tops on it,
and he had a odor cycle and he used to
always bring us fruit and she would always buy me
like candy and Jade's potato ships.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
That's not.

Speaker 5 (31:09):
But they're still together, don't you judge? My parents are still.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
That's why I was asking, doesn't at all?

Speaker 4 (31:16):
I would say, you need to leave. Let that man
finalized that divorce first.

Speaker 6 (31:21):
If it's in your if.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
Something is uncomfortable in your spirit, girl.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Let it go.

Speaker 11 (31:25):
Just let it go.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
I agree with the same thing.

Speaker 8 (31:27):
If you're uncomfortable, then you should leave because you don't
want to just sit around. Because, like I said that,
the voice is kind of a healthy price, and sometimes
people would choose to stick together to save some money.

Speaker 6 (31:39):
She might be digmatized pastor, but he is.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Ebody on the B Show before we get out of here.
We got a pep talk, but some guys, I'm not
smoan and this is my pep talk.

Speaker 9 (31:53):
So pep talk today is never let anybody steal your confidence.
If you have an If you have an idea, execute it.
If some but he doesn't like your idea, it just
means that they don't see your vision. But you have
your vision for a purpose. So never let them take
your confidence. Especially as a woman.

Speaker 7 (32:09):
It's ripped Michaels And my pep talk for everyone is
through adversity, always put God first. Known that anything and
everything is possible through Lord. As long as you place
Him first in at the center of your life, no
matter what you go through, no matter what struggle, you
will always overcome it. No matter how heavy a weight seem,
it will be lifted because with God, any and everything
is possible. So always put Him first and stay prayed

(32:30):
of because they are out here. They are out here,
and they are trying to take your soul and they're
trying to make you one of them. Stay on your path,
stay on your vision, and follow His way.
