and thank you guys for having me on here. This
means a lot for.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Thank you for being here. Now, you're from New York.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
I'm from New York. I'm from Queen's originally born in Jamaica.
I lived there for a few years. Move to Astoria.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
You know what a story you storyal Queen? Okay, okay, listen,
if you just gotta know you know something. Never been
to New York.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
You know what I'm saying, that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
You gotta put them on York.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
It's cool, man. You know I did kind of leave
you guys behind. I went to New Jersey a few
years ago, but I needed space. I needed space. I
got a nice, big house now, like it was hard,
you know, Like the story is cool, but them apartments
being like the size of man two by fours and
you're paying three four grand like nah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
I remember my first time when I went to New York.
I stayed in a hotel right by the network that
I was working at at the time, and I was like, man,
I'm talking about my room was so small.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I was like, like, fell out the window.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah it was. I thought it was a mistake.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
I was like, there's no way you call the front
desk like yo, put me in this room like all
of our units are like that.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I'm like, bro, I'm talking about hit the window.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, got her a bit, you know.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Anyways, how did you start doing music? And when did
you start doing music?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yesterday, that's what it feels like. But now it's been
it's been like six weeks actually working like professionally. But man,
I've been singing since I was a baby, like in
the shower and the house, in the car, you know,
like I karaoke forget I'm the karaoke queen. If you

(02:28):
know me, you know, I'm like every weekend we rent
private rooms. We just sing our ass off, me and
my girls. But and and we would be singing. And
anytime I was like I was up, they'd be like
that they didn't know who it was. Was it is
it you? Like I'm like yeah, you know, like they
like damn. Everyone would always tell me like you gotta

(02:49):
stop playing, like you got a good boys even ghosts.
He's like, you gotta stop. This is how it happened.
Like I was posting videos on Instagram singing in my
house ket because I don't have a whole karaoke machine
in my house.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
You have a karaoke tell me.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, I get by myself. I will sing my ass
off in my basement because I like build like a
whole little thing in my basement, little babe cave. And
I'd be just singing my butt off and he's like,
you better stop playing, like you actually have a very
good tone, like you know, we need to get you
in the studio. And I'm like, man, you know, I
grew up tough, like dreams don't pay the bills vibes

(03:27):
like for me, that was a dream, you know, Like
I don't know. I know it's real. I know what
happens obviously. I watch people every day blow up, become famous.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Every day every day.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
But I know, and I just I guess I don't know.
I just grew up super tough, So I just I
forgot about it at some point, you know. But then
he kept putting that in my ear, and I'm like,
you know what it's I come to Vegas, let's just
do so I'm like, let's go, and I just went.
I I was shocked on myself, but I was like,
I'm going, you know. And I guess it's always timing too.

(04:01):
Timing is essential. I felt my time. I was done
with the games, playing around for I'm tired of karaoke,
you know. I'm like, I want to sing for real,
let's do this. So when I went, I'm like, let
me see what he's about, you know, because you never know.
People say things. But no, he's a goat, go like
he's for real. He's a man of many trades, like

(04:23):
he's anything. My songs, writing the songs, doing the beats,
doing the engineer like he's he's so.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah, shout out, shout out.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
The ghost Man's a ghost for real because he's a goat.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
But that's why you can never give up on your dream.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
It's superhuman.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I always tell him, Yeah, yeah, yeah, ghost.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
He he will workaholic too, you know what I'm saying,
Like he.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
He work aholic, Like he all about his business and
I like working and he's tough.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Not everyone could take that. I could take it, you know,
but he's yeah, yeah, he's like.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Now you got to you gotta single out with Pleasure P.
Right now? Yes, sir, Now, how's it? How's the record doing?

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Howe o God, Pleasure P. I'm so happy, Like that's
a big deal for me, you know, because I'm just
coming up. He's obviously an established artists R and B everything.
He's awesome. You know. I don't know if he can curse,
but I definitely curse. He's fucking awesome, and I'm so
I was super happy about him coming on and he

(05:27):
did his thing. It was cool. The chemistry, like the
song just went together so perfectly.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Yeah yeah, yeah, you know, one thing one thing about
Pleasure P and A and A and a lot of
things that you you're gonna start seeing in the businesses.
A lot of people can't really sing, like a lot
of people don't sound like they records like Pleasure p
actually sounds live.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
How he sounds in the studio.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
That's big. It's true, Like a lot of people don't
sound like that.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yeah. Now now you also, you're going crazy in New
York with your music.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Ghost was telling me, like, man, you got all the baddies.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
In New York.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
You know, that's one thing. I got baddies for days,
Like we outside for real, for real, we outside every weekend,
best spats, private clubs. They played my song everywhere we go.
Now like it's so it's literally so cool really like
it's been a dream.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Isn't Isn't it crazy? H tc?

Speaker 4 (06:27):
That Like when when we were talking about music, right,
so we got we have an artist that we just interview.
Her name yk Nice. Now the crazy thing. She has
a song when Whimmy. I don't know if you've heard
that song before. It's a really popular song. She was
a security guard at our building in January.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Oh wow, outside side for real, she was outside.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Wow. She has the biggest song in Atlanta. She's featured
on Metro.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
I love that for her.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
So you it's like what we talked about, Like how
you said, Man, I see people blowing up, yes, all
the time, like you know, been on social media possible.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
And it's possible, Like it's the internet really makes everything possible.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
No, don't get started on the internet. Because the Internet
right now, we got these people that maybe forty years
old dancing in their living room and they're blowing up,
like girl, sit down. But I respect it. I respect it,
you know. But that's just to show like how easy
it is with our you know, our technology nowadays and

(07:27):
the Internet, like the platforms that we have. It's super
easy now more than ever. But I also still feel
like you need to have talent, you need to be likable, lovable,
all of that, you know.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
And that's the biggest thing personality. Personality is probably bigger
than music now, like you.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Know, you know too, I'm sure you'd be scrolling sometimes
you just randomly see a video and you're like, oh,
they're actually funny, like and there will be nobody's a
little few followers, but you will still follow them and
everything because they're just funny, genuinely like people are you
know people doing it now?

Speaker 4 (08:00):
I do want to ask a couple of questions. Right, so,
what is your top five restaurants in New York?

Speaker 1 (08:08):
I gotta say I love there's so many. I'm a
I'm a foodie. I'm a foodie, but I love Carbone right,
and I got some friends there.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
They take care of me.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Okay, Corner Store, super Fire, I like beef Bar. What else?
Top By that is three hmmm two more? I love
Philip Child. Sorry I should have said them first, because
you know, they really my people though, they really take

(08:42):
care of me. I like to go. I'm like, you know,
when somebody knows your name, literally like I don't like
to go somewhere people act like oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I'm like, oh no, yeah, you know you know you
owe us one more? Two?

Speaker 1 (08:58):
I owe you one more? Okay, m say less.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
I knew he was gonna say that, did you. Angela
been trying to like every time I go to New York.
She be like, I gotta take.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
You to say last like that.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
They have hookah too.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Yeah. I like, I like, what's what's the other spot
in New York? All the time, I can't I can't
think of it. It's it's a hookah spot to.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Start a p oh Pergola Pergola super vibe.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
But you're right though, that's that's that's really important when
we talk about people know your name when you go
to because I'm not gonna lie, Like if I go
to a spot like more than a handful of times
and you don't remember.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Me because because it's customer service and it's it's expensive
to go on, Yes, it's really expensive to go out.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
So if I go to your place a handful of time,
more than a handful of times.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
And you still don't remember you, I'm not spending no more.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
I don't like that. I'm sorry. Yeah, Like it's not
about being like bougie or whatever, but like customer service,
Like I'm here every week, I'm bringing people, I'm supporting
your restaurant. I'm spending money. You gotta look out for me.
You just see me once. You know, you see me
all the time, you know what? You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (10:26):
Like, come on and in a in a in a
economy that we have right now to where it's like people, bro,
it's like I know people that be like yo, I
haven't been out to eat in months. I will cook
at home right, and and you know, I'm starting to
understand them a little more and more because I'm like,
I'd have been to a couple of spots and.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
They ain't they remember me.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
I'm over here, like every time I come here is
you know the bill over over two dollars?

Speaker 2 (10:54):
You know you know.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
What I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
I don't want to you look at you to be
like I spent a thousand dollars here this month.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
You don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Okay, It's okay, Yeah, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Another old question that I have best Delhi, New York,
best Deli Compton's Compton.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I don't know if y'all heard about this. It's say
they started in Queens. They started in Long Island City,
Queens and now they have them in Jersey, which I'm
happy about because I was missing it. They got the
best sandwiches them and there's a it's a very like
mom and pop shop, but it's called Chris Charles. What
is it? Chris Charles. Oh, it's so good. It's in

(11:43):
the Story of two.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
You're putting up so game because these the clips are
gonna go viral and everybody gonna be in them comments like.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Like gotta wait. No, no, no, we done with that.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
So it's New Jersey where people from New York go
to move when you actually started making money and you
want to have a community.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Yeah, Lia, they got a dollar two.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Yeah, that's true. That's true. I think so, I think
so I'm not some big people in Drew. I mean,
I can never forget this moment because she's my favorite
person of all times, since I was a little girl,
like I was wrapping everything, curse words, all that. I
don't care little Kim. I'm in CBS at the register

(12:40):
and she's like, oh my god. You know, she gave
me a compliment, and I turned around. I didn't want
to be like hello, like are you fucking serious? You
are my favorite? But I you know, I played it cool.
I was like, oh, thank you so much, but in
my heart I was dying. I was like, my god,
what is she doing in CBS? And then I said
to my friend when obviously obviously that's what I'm trying

(13:04):
to tell you about Jersey. I'm figuring out that they
all be there, like they there's a lot of them.
And I and I said to my friend when I left,
I was like, yo, y'all really be outside because you know,
she's another famous person. I was like, yeah, y'all really
be outside because I just bumped to a little kid.
When I turned around, I didn't expect to see her,
so I was like whoa. I was like, okay, that
was cool. So they really be out there.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
That's fine.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Now, Nissa, what's some things that you do when you
having a bad day?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Workout? I love to work out. That's my obsession since
I'm like, I started at fifteen. You know, my mom
passed when I was fourteen. I didn't know what to
do with all these feelings. It was a lot.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I had two outlets. My first one initially was writing.
I started writing poetry, short stories just like diary vibes.
And then I knew that it wasn't enough. Like it
was my mental was being you know, healed, but I
needed physical. I needed to do something with my myself
other than just hang out with my friends and go
out like I was like, no, this is crazy. And yeah,

(14:05):
I worked, I hustled, but I needed something physical and
I joined the gym when I was fifteen. I never stopped.
There's no like, oh, I haven't been to the gym
in two weeks. I don't know how that feels. Since fifteen,
I have twenty years in the gym. Like, that's that's
my real outlet, that's my shit. So that's what I
do when I'm not feeling you know, I do it anyways.

(14:25):
I'm happy, I'm sad, i'm mad, I'm angry. That shit
always makes me feel better.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Okay, now we got sw with some gears. What's some
things that got you after? What's some things to get
on your nerves?

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I just don't like, like, you know what. I really
don't like people that don't give credit words to or
like if you're a good person, because I'm a very
good person. Like people who genuinely know me. No, like
I ride from mine to the wheels fall off, like
I will do whatever. I'm there for you. I don't
care what time of the day, and now you call me,

(15:01):
I'm there. So I don't like people that just act
shady or like messed up. You know. I don't like
bad people. Man, I'm such a good person and I
love good people like I love it so much. That
makes me so happy when I meet someone good, I'm
so happy. I'm like, yes, you know, So I don't

(15:21):
like the hating. There's so much hate in New York.
I don't get it. I don't get it, like, come on, girl,
you know, and it always be the people that you've
done road for, been down for it, on, helped out
all the time, that they don't.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
They don't why people in New York be so mad?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Yo. I was in Vegas, right, I want to do
the song with Ghosts. I was in Vegas the whole
everywhere I went. And not that I don't get attention
in New York, but it's just usually male attention, which
is like all right, But in Vegas, every girl was
stopping me. They were like, oh my god, you're so beautiful,

(15:58):
like they were loving me, and I was like, damn,
I think I got to move to Vegas cause, y'all.
I love good energy.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
I love Vega girls.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
I love girls because I'm a big girly girl, Like
I'm I'm team, you know, like girl power a team.
I'm very big on that. So I don't understand why
they hate each other so much. And that's the ship
that I don't like. I don't like the hate for
non necessary hate, like if a person deserves it, you know,
maybe sometimes the people are assholes, And I get it.

(16:29):
But if someone's just a genuinely good person, why are
you so mad? Why are you so mad?

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Why mad? I always wanted to like mad?

Speaker 4 (16:41):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
The fields are high, the rent is high, you know
what I mean, we get some cold witzes. But even
though we got global warming right now, it's eighty something
the Greens in October. But why are you so mad?

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (16:52):
My god, I'm happy, bro. I wake up every day
singing happy.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Literally, Okay, what needs to be? I appreciate you coming
on a show. Anything else you want.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
To promote besides outside? We outside? For real? Man, this
is a dream, you know. I'm just so happy about
my song right now, and I'm looking forward to doing
more stuff. So y'all stay tuned because there's more coming.
Don't think this is it? Oh you mad about this?
You go?

Speaker 2 (17:19):
They said they said you gotta start a girl, oh yeah, and.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
We got some shit coming, So stay tuned. Now.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
I got a question you team team.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Cardon this is tough. I'm gonna tell you why I
got love for them both. Obviously, I was initially team
Car team Nikki. You know she came out first. Fucking
love her, I really do she's she's she's that bitch.

(17:47):
You know, I give respect and credit where it's due.
Carti's doing her thing. She's awesome, right. I just don't
like the beef back and forth right now. Like I said,
I don't. I don't like that. I don't like the hate.
I don't like the back and forth from New York.
And you know what, Nikki, I gotta say. I would
think she was above it. She she she should be

(18:09):
above her. It is what it is. So I don't
like that she's That's the only thing. I don't like.
The little drama back. She shouldn't give it no tension.
That's what I think. My advice is that, you know,
if someone comes talking about me tomorrow, you won't hear
a word from me because I don't give a fuck.
Like so, I wish she would not give a fuck,
and because she's just giving her more limelight, you know

(18:30):
what I mean.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
I don't like them talking about each other.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
I don't like it. I think.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Them going back.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
And forth on social media because I'm just entertained just
like everybody else.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
But when you put the kids involved, then I gotta stop.
I gotta stop entertainment and they're both bad.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Everybody's just doing their own thing. I think that they
should love it. I wish bad bitches just link up
like y'all both fucking phenomenal. Just link up like let's
squash the beef please. I love them both. I love
them both. I don't have a team.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Okay, God, answer perfect
