Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, Marxists have it wrong because they deny the existence
of your creator himself, and that means you're just another
social animal. You're just part of the herd. That's the
basis of socialism. And you know what happens in that scenario.
The people that amass the power will control and direct
the hurd. You lose your freedom. It's a road to tyranny.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
Ben ferguson.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Good Monday morning.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
So nice to have you with us on the forty
seven Morning Update. And we've got a lot to talk
about this morning, including the President of the United States of
America making it clear that Iran is going to be
hit hard this after two Americans were killed and Jordan
after Iranian air strikes. So what's going to happen next.
We'll explain it all to you. But before we get
(00:44):
to that, I want to talk to you real quick
about your cell phone. If you have a cell phone
right now, you may not realize what's actually happening when
you pay your bill every month. You may not realize
that there are woke companies out there that take your
dollars and they give them the hardcore left to organizations.
And that's why I made the switch to Patriot Mobile.
(01:04):
I didn't want my money going to abortion providers. I
didn't want my money going to anti Second Amendment groups.
I didn't want my money going to hardcore leftist candidates.
Well you may not realize it, but Big Mobile gives
big donations to many of those exact individuals and organizations,
and that is why the stakes could not be higher.
(01:25):
We finally have a president and administration fighting hard to
put America first. But if conservatives like you and I
lose focus, well, the same people that created the mess
we're in right now, they're waiting to resume their destruction.
And that's why I want you to switch to Patriot Mobile.
Because not only is Patriot Mobile America's only Christian conservative
wireless provider, they also offer you premium priority nationwide service
(01:49):
and all three major networks, unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots,
international roaming, small business solutions.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
They got it all.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
Plus their business is one hundred percent US based customer support,
meaning you're gonna talk to a hard working American.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Now, this is where the magic happens.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
They literally put millions of dollars each year to organizations
that are fighting on the front lines and fighting for
God given rights. I'm talking about standing up to not
only defend our faith, but our family and our freedoms.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
So does it cost you any extra? It does not.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Switch your bill right now and make a difference. Patriot
Mobile dot com slash ben forty seven.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
You'll get a free month of service.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ben forty seven for a
free month of service. Or call them nine to seven
to Patriot. That's nine seven to two Patriot or Patriotmobile
dot com slash ben forty seven and make that switch today.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
It's a forty seven morning update and it starts right now.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Story number one.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
I want to get to another story that's really important,
and that is this. Donald Trump is now suggesting that
Republicans at Iran to the Russian sanctions bill. This is
a very new development, the President suggesting the Republicans in
Congress add Iran to the Russian sanctions bill, noting that
(03:10):
it is what the late Center Lindsey Graham wanted to do,
which is a very interesting perspective.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Quote.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Republicans should add Iran to the Russian sanctions bill, Trump
said a post on true social Not only is it
what Lindsey Graham wanted to do, it was going to happen,
and then he put in all caps important now. In
April of twenty twenty five, Graham introduced the Sanctioning Russia
Act of twenty twenty five, which has received a recent
momentum after having been stalled in Congress. Trump called to
(03:41):
add Iran to the sanctions bill, and that also comes.
The United States has resumed its conflict of the Ran
with a series of major attacks and an end to
negotiations to end the conflict. According to the Latest News,
the Trump administration has for over a week quote resumed
its conflict with I Ran with a series of attacks
(04:02):
and ending the negotiations. Of course, the conflicts started with
joint US Israeli strikes on Iran in late February. The
US military launch retalatory attacks Saturday in response to Iranian strikes.
It's all two service members killed in Jordan, and we're
gonna deal with that.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Breaking news as well.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
In a moment, Trump also called these desks quote a
very sad thing. Several lawmakers such as sat Tom Cotton
from Arkansas, Tim Scott from South Carolina, they've now expressed
that Trump was right and noted that Iran and Russia
posed grave threats to America as well as American allies.
President Trump is right as well as Russia may pay
(04:43):
more for their attacks on the civilized world. Is what
Cotton said in the post on X today. He said,
tomorrow I will introduce legislation that permanently extends the Iranian
Sanctions Act. That is obviously a major deal. Now the
President putting us out there, in Tom Cotton putting out there,
this means this is orchestrated, coordinated, and planned as a
(05:06):
response to what Iran is doing killing American servicemen.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Quote.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Iran and Russia pose the grave threats to America and
our allies, is what Senator Scott wrote in a post
on X saying their MILND cooperation makes both them more dangerous.
Referring to Iran and Russia. My bipartisan Solidify Iranian Sanctions
Act would make sanctions on Iran permanent and give President
(05:30):
Trump the tools to hold Iran accountable. Obviously, that is
moving very quickly as well. Now, why is all this
happening is one of the big questions many of you have.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Asked, and it's a fair question to ask.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Part of it is our response to the latest attacks
where two US service members have been killed and one
is missing in Iran strikes on Jordan. The two US
service members were killed one remains missing after Iran struck
American forces in Jordan, the US Central Command SENTCOM said
on Saturday. The command said the two troops were killed
(06:05):
in action Friday while defending against Iranian ballistic missiles and
drone attacks, and they confirmed four other service members were
medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals and have since been discharged.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
That is the good news now.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
SINCOM announced the casualties in a statement posted on social
media on Saturday afternoon, saying, on July seventeenth, two US
service members in Jordan were killed in action at US
Central Command and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missiles
and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing
an action mia at least two Iranian ballistic missiles we
(06:46):
now know hit the airbase there. The footage circulating on
social media showed the impact and then the heavy smoke
over the installation.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
The deaths of.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
The first American military fatalities since the war started in March.
Now The House Speaker Mike Johnson responded to that news,
saying this praying for the loved ones of these brave
fallen American heroes, for the swift recovery of those injured,
and for the safe return of the missing service members.
(07:15):
Johnson wrote, May God bless our brave men and women
in uniform now. The Defense Secretary p Headseth also acknowledged
the desks, writing that the sacrifice only stiffens our resolve
quote unquote. The Iranian Supreme Leader also claimed the United
States had committed repeated breaches of the Memo of Understanding
sign last month, arguing a post over the weekend that
(07:38):
this signature of the US president was quote utterly worthless
and devoid of credibility quote unquote. Now, the desk come
as Washington and Tehran are trading strikes for the past week,
with the mid June ceasefire and shambles after Trump decleared
it quote unquote over and the reimposed that naval blockade
(07:59):
on a imports. Out of respect for the families, Syncom
said they will withhold additional information at this time, including
the identities of the fallen warriors, until twenty four hours
after the necks of ken have been notified, SENTCOM said
in a statement. Now we also are learning this at
this hour. US forces began launching air strikes this evening
(08:23):
against Iran, starting at six pm Eastern time, five Central.
This in retaliation they save for the attacks that killed
two American service members in Jordan. SENTCOM said as well
in their statement that the strikes were meant to further
degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the street
(08:43):
of Hermus and to swiftly quote punish the Islamic Revolutionary
Guard Corps behind the latest assault that claimed at least
two American lives.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Now you look.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
At all of what I just told you, and this
is obviously a lot that's happening. This is going to
probably be a very intense week for America's military against Iran.
It does not look like Iran is anywhere close to
agreeing at this hour to.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
Any sort of deal.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
It also is because the hardliners in Iran and the IRGC,
they are undermining any type of diplomatic agreement, any type
of memo of understanding, any type of we're not going
to have nuclear weapons type scenarios in Iran. It seems
that the IRGC and the radicals in Iran are willing
(09:37):
to die on this hill literally because they are not
going to move. That changes the calculus for the President
and for the Pentagon and for Headset and others, because
now the question is how do you end this thing
and not lose American lives and not put American troops
(09:58):
on the ground, and do you do it by going
after Iran in a way that would also cause unfortunately
civilian casualties.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
We are really good at our strikes.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
That is something that we've proven throughout this world, but
we've also not struck certain things based on the intelligence
I've been told about because we were prioritizing American lives.
Our only rephrase that civilian Iranian lives, and the Iranian radicals,
(10:32):
the ergyc they know this. They put a lot of
their weapons depots and other things in certain areas where
they know that they'd be very hard for American American
to strike, and they clearly seem okay with this. That
is again a major problem. Now the question becomes what
will we do moving forward? Will we do anything moving
(10:55):
forward to stop this from happening in way that would
then take on these radicals and knowing what they're doing.
That's a lot to digest. What seems pretty clear at
this point is that the President of the United States
America is made it abundantly clear that he is not
(11:21):
going to be bullied by Iran. He is not going
to allow them to take over the stratiform MEWS, He
is not going to have them be a nuclear Okay,
and this is extremely important to understand.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
A nuclear power.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
You look at all that and you compare it to
what we're dealing with at this exact moment. What is
obvious is the President probably has only one choice. That
is to continue to hit Iran, and continue to hit
Iran extremely hard, and we're probably going to have to
make some of those tough decisions that if Iran is
willing to put their citizens in harm's way, that's not
(11:59):
on us, that's on them. I also think it's very
clear that Americans do not want a lot of soldiers'
boots on the ground. You look at what just happened,
the loss of life of these two soldiers. It hits
differently because there's so many Americans to say, do not
give us into this like a ground offensive. Do not
(12:21):
get us into a ground war where American troops, lives
are going to be at risk. So that also is
the way that we're fighting war right now is also
very different than it was years ago. That's another aspect
of this that again has to be brought up. So
here we are in this new scenario. The President clearly
(12:43):
knows he needs to act. The President clearly knows that
Iran must pay for what they've just done. And the
President also knows that Americans do not want ground forces
on the ground. That's why I think this next week
what you're going to witness is a signignificant increase in
aerial attacks.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
They will be massive. I feel pretty solid about that.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
