Speaker 1 (00:01):
Intend to make a deal with Europe. We have found
that the European Union treated as extremely unfairly, very difficult
and hurt themselves in doing so, and they very much
want to make a deal. We'll be dealing with them.
We are dealing with them currently, so that'll cover pretty
much the rest of it.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Good Friday morning. Welcome, it is the forty seven Morning Update,
Ben Ferguson with you, and here are the three big
stories we're talking about today. First up, a trade deal
agreement between the US and the UK, setting a standard
for what other countries can expects they're negotiating their trade
deals with the US. And how did Wall Street respond

(00:41):
well with big numbers in the green up. Next, in
a shocking story that all of you I hope will
share because the media is not covering this, planned parenthood
has now been exposed, prescribing gender affirming care hormones to
minors and doing it virtually with no parental supervision. And finally,

(01:04):
a historic moment for the US as we have an
American pope that has been named. Who is he and
what did he have to say? When he walked out
on the balcony for the very first time as the Pope.
It's the forty seven morning Update and it starts right now.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Story number one victory.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
President Donald Trump and the UK Prime Minister Starmer announced
a new trade agreement between the United States and the
United Kingdom. And this is one of many apparently coming
down the pipeline from the White House, yet again proving
the media and those on the left wrong. Now, this
deal marks the first major biledal trade pack since the

(01:44):
implementation of Trump's global tariff policy earlier this year. The
key highlights of the agreement include tariff reductions. The US
will reduced tariffs on Britain steel and aluminum exports to zero,
and lower tariffs on up to a one hundred thousand
UK made cars from twenty seven point five percent to

(02:05):
just ten percent. On agricultural access, the UK will open
its markets to more American agricultural products, including beef and ethanol,
helping American farmers significantly by removing tariffs such as the
nineteen percent duty on US ethanol imports that currently was there.
On industrial goods, tariffs on British aerospace components, notably rolls,

(02:31):
Royce engines will be eliminated, and the UK has agreed
to purchase ten billion in Boeing aircraft, yet again helping
American workers. Now, the non tariff barriers are also an issue.
Both nations have committed to reducing non tariff barriers and
streamlining customs processes to facilitate trade now. The Prime Minister

(02:54):
Starmer described the agreement as quote historic, emphasizing its potential
to protect UK jobs and industries. President Trump highlighted the
deal as a significant step in expanding American exports and
reducing trade deficits that help the American workers. Here's the
present in his own words at the Oval Office announcing

(03:16):
this deal.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Morning, I'm thrilled to announce that we've reached a breakthrough
trade deal with the United Kingdom, credible country. Today is
a victory day for World War Two. We won the
war together exactly eighty years ago, so there could be
no more perfect morning to reach this historic agreement. And
it's beautiful weather out. I will tell you that gear

(03:38):
beautiful weather, so perfect outside. But it's really in particular
the agreement with one of our closest and most cherished allies.
And we're so happy that that's the way it worked out.
I want to thank Prime Minister Starmer and his very
talented team for their outstanding work and partner ship. Today's

(04:01):
agreement with the UK is the first and a series
of agreements on trade that my administration has been negotiating
over the past four weeks. With this deal, the UK
joins the United States and affirming that reciprocity and fairness
is an essential and vital principle of international trade.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Now, the big takeaway from what the President just said
there and this deal that's done with the UK is precedent.
The agreement is seen as nothing but a foundation for
future negotiations with other countries, with both countries expressing interest
and expanding discussions to also include digital services, technology, and

(04:43):
other sectors as well. Now, this means that other countries
that are looking at doing a deal with the US
now what's expected of them. It also goes back to
the promise from the President those who got in line
first would get the best deals. And clearly this is
a the deal that UK is proud of and the
President of the United States of America. What does this

(05:04):
mean for Wall Street? When we know where Wall Street
closed and it was big as the markets love the
idea of this happening, with the Dow finishing up two
hundred and fifty four points, the NASDA Cup one hundred
and eighty nine, and the S and P five hundred
up thirty two. We expect more deals coming out of
the White House in the very near future as well,
so we'll keep you covered on all those details.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Now. Story number two.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
This story is one that is incredibly important and I
hope it's one that all of you will share on
social media. Take this podcast and put it wherever you are,
because the story you're about to hear no one is
talking about, and that certainly includes the mainstream media. There
was an undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood prescribing hormones to

(05:51):
miners with minimal oversight. It's not healthcare, it's child abuse,
and it must be stopped, is what the Live Action
president Lee la Rose said in a statement after they
released the undercover sting operation audio and video undercover phone calls.
Release by the pro life activist group Live Action revealed

(06:13):
that in fact, Planned Parenthood clinics across several states offered
cross sex hormone treatments to miners as young as sixteen
with very little parental or medical supervision. The group is
now calling on Congress to defund Planted Parenthood of the
hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding. Yes, your

(06:37):
tax dollars are going to Planned Parenthood to the tune
of hundreds of millions of dollars. Live Action conducted the
undercover investigation in which a woman posing as a sixteen
year old miner called dozens of Planned Parenthood location seeking
gender affirming care. At least seven of the Planned Parenthood

(06:58):
facilities told her that they would prescribe cross sex hormones
at the very first appointment. In several instances, Planned Parenthood
assured the caller that she could choose to meet with
a provider virtually and have access to the cross sex
hormones as quickly as the same day, despite the person

(07:20):
posing as a miner saying they had just begun considering
changing her sex. Facilities in Minnesota and Oregon stated they
could schedule the miner within days or even on the
same day. Five facilities also stated no prior therapy, no
prior mental health clearances, no prior documentation was needed for

(07:45):
the undercover individual to obtain cross sex hormones. I'm going
to play for you this audio, and I hope every
one of you will share this wherever you can on
social media.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
Difficling parent, thank you for ducing planned parent who had
a greater e or.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Thank you for calling planned Parenthead Minnesota and North Dakota, VA, Dakota.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Hello, get up for calling planned parents. Hi.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
My name is Sophia. I'm just trying to schedule some
gender firming care. I really just want to be able
to get some testostero to start my journey.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
So we just have to start my booking her in
Michel appointments that you've come in to few one of
our providers.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
Are you or a he?

Speaker 6 (08:26):
No, I'm sixteen, You're.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Good to be been here then sixteen and older?

Speaker 6 (08:30):
Okay, you're okay to do it for minors, Yeah, you
can legally.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Get hormones under eighteen? How old are you?

Speaker 6 (08:38):
Sixteen? I know my mom has to come in with me,
and does she have to be in there the whole time?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Like?

Speaker 6 (08:43):
How does that work? Because I don't know if I'm
comfortable with that.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
At some point that the appointment, maybe he doesn't have
to be in the remitting room with you.

Speaker 6 (08:52):
You said I could do it virtually.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
Yeah, you can do it virtually.

Speaker 6 (08:55):
So what would that look like? So I just talked
to a doctor and then they'd be able to prescribe me.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Yeah, if it's virtual, you'll still meet with the doctor
and then go over like all men, very information and
at the end they will then be for supribing hormone
that would then be stripped out like your local party.

Speaker 6 (09:15):
I don't need any like therapy or anything first, Like,
you don't need any record of that, no that I
know of. I don't need any sort of like records
of having one to therapy or anything like.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
That, right, Yeah, so unless you have triparent here and
it would not be required.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
There's nothing that I need before, right, Like I don't
need to like have records and meeting with a therapist
or anything, right because my parents definitely aren't.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
I'll let me do that.

Speaker 6 (09:38):
I just decided last week, and so I kind of
want to get in as soon as possible. Do you
have any pointments available soon?

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Yeah? It depends on a location too, but we usually
do have availability for like the next week of whatever
you call it.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
You think that if I came in, went over everything
with the doctor and they could send them prescription that day.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Yes, I think they could be able to a prescription
to your pharmacy the same day of your appointment.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
Oh perfect, Okay, so I can get the hormones the
same day, a little.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Bit to get it together.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
But yeah, if not the same day, then more than
likely the very next thing.

Speaker 6 (10:17):
Perfect.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
Thank you for calling.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
This is exactly why President Donald Trump has been questioning
your dollars going to planned parenthood, and why so many
conservatives are advocating now for planned parenthood not receiving a
single dime of taxpayer dollars, because this is what they're
doing with your money.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
And lastly, story number three, history.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Was made as there is a new pope that has
been named to lead the Catholic Church, and this pope
is coming from the United States of America. It was
a historic moment as Cardinal Robert Francis Privos of Chicago
has been elected as the two hundred and sixty seventh
Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. This marks the first

(10:58):
time an American is ascended to the past. The announcement
was made following the appearance of the white smoke from
the Sistine Chapel, signaling the successful conclusion of the conclave.
President Donald Trump said this about the big announcement.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
They have already spoken to us and we'll see what happens.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
But again, to have the.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Vote from the United States of America, that's a great honor.
That's a great honor.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
I'm welcome watching.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
And they said he's from America, and he said, that's great.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
Now.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
The Pope, in his first address from the balcony of
Saint Peter's, greeted the crowd with peace be with all
of you. He emphasized themes of unity, inclusiveness, and peace,
reflecting a commitment to bridging divides within the church. At
the end of the day, this is a great day
for anyone in the Catholic faith, and certainly a great

(11:58):
day when it comes to him street, as President Trump
put it, for everyone in this country, having the first
pope ever from the United States.
