Speaker 1 (00:01):
Israel has done what they needed to do to go
after Iran and their nuclear program. Well, now we are
saying the response as Iran is firing back. One hundred
and fifty missiles hit Israel. Most of them think, goodness,
we're intercepted and Donald Trump is warning make a deal
or else. Now I want you to hear the latest
from on the ground in Israel. This coming from Fox

(00:25):
News channel as they are talking about this being uncharted
territory in Tel Aviv. Take a listen.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
It's a bit hard to hear you as we're moving here,
but I'll talk a little bit about Iran's capabilities because
I could pick that out of what you were saying
as we're headed to this missile site. It's certainly something
to think about because the images that we've seen already
from the place that we are headed are devastating. It
shows the impact of a ballistic missile and the damage
that it can do. But it raises an important question

(00:55):
about Iran's ballistic missile capabilities. We know that they have
thousands of missiles, They have the capability to resupply launchers,
and many of their missiles are stored in underground facilities
and so the question is actually how many can they
launch at one time, And this is an indication that
they have limited launching capabilities because they're not launching all
of these missiles from permanent positions. Many of them are

(01:17):
mobile launchers. And while it's difficult for Israel to hit
those mobile launchers because they can move quickly after firing,
what they can't do is resupply quickly. And so this
is likely what we're.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Going to see in the days ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
The Israelis striking Iranian targets, more of their nuclear facilities,
likely taking out more top Iranian officials, and then Iranian
responses that will come in different barrages. The real X
factor here will is how the Iranians are going to
respond to American interests in the region, and it will
be interesting to see how President Trump responds to the
threats from Iran and also interesting to see how the

(01:51):
Americans are preparing across the region. It's part of the
reason that earlier in the week you saw those orders
to partially evacuate the US embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, over
concerns that the Iranians would use not only their own
military and the IRGC, whose top commander was killed in
the Israeli strikes overnight, but use their militias in places
like Iraq and Syria. These around back to Rocky and

(02:13):
Syrian Shia militias that have missile and drone capabilities of
their own, and what they can do is target American
bases or target American embassies in the region, and so
certainly the Americans are going to be on high alert again.
We can confirm at Fox that the Israelis have told
us American forces are participating and helping to shoot down
these incoming missiles that are targeting Israel, and we are

(02:35):
truly will in uncharted territory. There's really no other way
to explain it. What we saw earlier live on Fox
with these ballistic missiles slamming into Israel's second largest city.
It's something that I've never seen before, and it's an
indication that Israel's missile defense capability is not perfect, something
that we knew, but there are real questions about how
Israel is going to respond in the hours and days ahead.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
One more question, Trey, and I appreciate it's hard to
hear while in that vehicle moving through Tel Aviv. What
you said Israel characterized as Iran's targeting of population centers
as a red line. What is your understanding of what
that means. What would an Israeli response be for someone
crossing a red line.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
It's a great question, and we have to look at
the targets that were hit last night in Iran in
a wave of strikes, and we had some reporting from
an Israeli security source that said they used Mussad intelligence
to basically track these top leaders from the IRGC, their
air force unit, and get them to hold a meeting
based on Israeli activity in the region, and then they

(03:35):
were able to keep them at this location and then
they targeted these top Iranian commanders from the IRGC. These
were military targets, though not political targets. Remember, you have
Iran Supreme Leader, the Ayatolahamanai, and then you have President
Masud Pezeshkian. There are other leaders, including Iran's Foreign minister,
political leaders, some of whom have been involved in the
negotiations that were taking place between the Americans and the

(03:58):
Iranians over the past two months, and so there are
political targets they could consider, and they also could ramp
up strikes on nuclear facilities. We know that two key
nuclear facilities were hit, including the Natans enrichmentd Center. This
is one of the largest enrichment facilities in Iran. But
they four doll nuclear facility that is said to be
very deep underground. The critical components of it was not targeted,

(04:20):
according to the sources that we talked to and from
what we can gather by open source intelligence, and so
there are certainly more targets that can be hit. And
I think we also have to look at what President
Trump said today. President Trump has made very clear he
wanted to give the Iranian regime an opportunity to come
to the negotiating table. There was supposed to be a
six round of talks on Sunday between US Special ENVOYE.

(04:41):
Steve Witcoff and his Iranian counterparts in Oman. It doesn't
appear at this point that is going to take place.
But of course the Americans will continue to push for
negotiations because President Trump has made clear he wants a
deal here. But of course, given the fact that the
Israelis conducted these strikes overnight and now the Iranians are
firing ballistic missiles into Israel, the idea of diplomacy will

(05:01):
at this moment seems quite far fetched. Now.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
The question that you got to ask yourself that when
you hear all of this coming out of Israel, is
how do we get to this point. Let's be very clear,
Donald Trump said that they referring to Iran, had sixty
days to make your deal, and they didn't. And now
they're paying the price for that. They're for not dealing
with the West when it comes to the development of

(05:26):
nuclear weapons. And when the warning came out from the
UN about them being very close to getting these nuclear weapons,
there was no other option but for someone to step up,
and that was clearly Israel. They had no other option
but to do this. I also want you to hear
one other thing that was said, and this goes back

(05:47):
to what I was mentioning a moment ago, and even
CNN saying this, Scott Jennings going on there and talking about, look,
they should have made a deal, they chose not to.
And now this is the consequences of the actions for
I Ran and.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Scott Prime ministudents in Ya who says he gave Trump's
a heads up about the strikes. But initially the Trump
administration made it pretty clear that this is Israel's operation,
not the United States, and President Trump said he was
opposed to the strikes. What are your sources telling you
about President Trump's true feelings on this operation. Was he
part of a deception campaign or is he just being

(06:25):
supportive of Israel even though he was not supportive of
the strikes.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Well, what I've been made to believe is that, yes,
this was part of an elaborate ruse to really trick Iran.
I mean, the amount of planning that went into this,
when you look at what Israel did on the ground
in Iran, when you look at the massive planning that
they had to undergo over a long period of time
to get ready to pull this off, and then everything
that happened on the world stage, I do think President

(06:51):
Trump was part of a ruse here. I mean, but
you go back sixty days in time, Jake, you know
about sixty days ago Donald Trump said, yeah, they've got
about sixty days to make a deal. So you know,
they didn't do that, and now they're paying the price
for not dealing with the West when it comes to
their development of a nuclear weapon. I mean, when you're
here on the ground, this is my first trip Israel,
I've talked to a lot of people. I've been to

(07:12):
the Gospel Order, I've been to the Lebanon border, I've
been all over this place. Living with a nuclear armed
Iran is not a possibility for these people. It's an
existential threat to them. Living with Hamas and other Iranian
terror proxies. That's not really acceptable to them either, after
what happened on October the seventh. So everyone here in
Israel has a lot of resolve right now, I think,

(07:32):
for what's going on and not letting Iran, which is
the head of this octopus over here, get away with
developing missiles and weapons that if they got them, they
have no doubt would immediately fire them into Israel.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
One other thing that's interesting here is Donald Trump was
asked by seeing Dana Bash about Iran's hard line negotiators
and asking are they dead? Are they now dead? Dana
Bash said, quote, does that mean Israel got them? Donald
Trump responded with the line quote, well, they didn't die
of COVID. I think it's pretty clear the President's saying,

(08:05):
We're not going to screw around here, and they need
to get a deal done, and they need to get
a deal done soon or things are going to get
worse in Iran. We're not messing around now. We also
know that there have been people that have been killed
in Israel by this retaliatory attack from Iran, and the
question becomes, now, what happens next. We know the missiles

(08:26):
have hit Jerusalem, we know the missiles have hit Tel Aviv.
We know that they had one hundred and fifty missiles
that were coming in that Iran was firing. Most of
them were intercepted, but to be clear, some of them
were able to hit and get through that iron dome.
They're trying to overwhelm that technology by having this barage
of missiles. So this is far from over. I will

(08:48):
say this, my thoughts and prayers were the people in
Israel right now. It is so important that we stand
with them. Israel has struck Iran, and Iran is now
confirming that the IRGC terar chief Salami has also been eliminated.
Benjamin Nettnahu announcing the operation as well, talking about what

(09:11):
this means. And we also have found out that not
only did Iran state run Islamic Republic News Agency confirm
in the early hours of Friday morning that the Israeli
airstrike on targets in the country, eliminated the major General Salami,
the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard other arms of

(09:31):
Iran state. News apparatus also confirm this several high profile
regime members, including not one, but two of their top
nuclear scientists. Now this is obviously massive because if you
want to take out their nuclear program, taking out the
scientists behind it is huge. It's very hard to get

(09:53):
nuclear scientists to defect and come to Iran, so taking
them out could put back their program literally years. They
were killed in these strikes, and that is again massive. Now,
Salami may be by far one of the highest ranking
Iranian regime officials who have been targeted successfully in the operation.

(10:16):
He is one of those that was important to take out,
and Israel had planned this for quite some time and
they were able to do it. Salami had to stay
in a place as one of the most prominent and
also belligerent senior leaders in the Iranian Islamic regime. He
regularly threatened attacks on America and Israel, and what was

(10:36):
perhaps his final public appearance on Thursday, Salami declared that
his forces were quote war tested and experienced, prepared for
war against its enemies now. That was just twenty four
hours ago. He said that publicly now, the IRGC is
both a US designated terrorist organization he was in charge

(10:58):
of it, and a formal wing of the Iranian Armed Forces.
Among its chief operations is to sustain relations between the
Iranian tear state and its Jihadis proxies. Who does That
include the Huthis and Yemen, the Lebanese Hesblah, and with
fellow rogue states such as Venezuela and Cuba. The IRNA

(11:20):
confirmed Solami's death and a brief message that offered no
details on the occurrence. It just confirmed that Salami died
in Tehran and claimed him a victim of assassination their
words now. Also in a separate report, the state news
outlet confirmed a barrage of air strikes over the capital
city by the Israeli Air Force. Another Iranian state media outlet,

(11:44):
press TV, reported early Friday that the strikes had martyred
several other senior IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists. So we're
getting lots of confirmation about how deadly and how surgical
these strikes were. On the top leadership in Iran veteran
nuclear scientists, two of them in fact, they, as they

(12:08):
described it, were martyred in the attack. Press TV reported,
adding confirmation from now that at least one Iranian military leader,
the chief of the Iranian Armed Forces also a major
General Bagheri, is still alive and in Iran's war room
quote plotting the nation's response. Now, The Times of Israel,

(12:30):
citing Iranian state television, reported that Israel apparently also bombed
one of the most prominent uranium enrichment facilities in the country,
the facility known as the Natanz facility, and there was
several hits apparently on that facility. It was scattered among

(12:52):
anonymous reports as well on social media that this had
also happened, and we also been told that there was
disruptions in Iran by undercover MASAD agents. Have also now
surfaced that Israel has not confirmed that. I want to
be clear now. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nettanna, who
also confirmed the air strikes during a national address on

(13:12):
Friday morning, identifying the strikes as Operation Rising Lion. I
want you to hear what Netnya, who had to say
as he addressed not only the people of Israel, but
also the people of the world.

Speaker 6 (13:26):
Moments ago, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, a targeted military
operation to roll back the Uranian threat to Israel's very survival.
This operation will continue for as many days as it
takes to remove this threat. For decades, the tyrants of
Tehran have brazenly openly called for Israel's destruction. They've backed

(13:50):
up their genocidal rhetoric with a program to develop nuclear weapons.
In recent years, Iran has produced enough highly enriched uranium
for nine atom bombs. Nine In recent months, Iran has
taken steps that it has never taken before, steps to
weaponize this enriched uranium, and if not stopped, Iran could

(14:13):
produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time. It
could be a year, it could be within a few months,
less than a year. This is a clear and present
danger to Israel's very survival. Eighty years ago, the Jewish
people were the victims of a holocaust perpetrated by the
Nazi regime. Today, the Jewish state refuses to be a

(14:34):
victim of a nuclear holocaust perpetrated by the Iranian regime. Now,
as Prime Minister, I've made it clear time and again
Israel will never allow those who call for our annihilation
to develop the means to achieve that goal. Tonight, Israel
backs those words with action. We struck at the heart
of Iran's nuclear enrichment program. We struck at the heart

(14:57):
of Iran's nuclear weaponization program. We targeted Iran's main enrichment
facility in Atans. We targeted Iran's leading nuclear scientists working
on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart
of Iran's ballistic missile program. Last year, Iran fired three
hundred ballistic missiles at Israel. Each of these missiles carries

(15:19):
a ton of explosives and threatens the lives of hundreds
of people. Soon, those missiles could carry a nuclear payload,
threatening the lives not of hundreds, but of millions. Iran
is gearing up to produce ten thousands of those ballistic
missiles within three years. Now. Just imagine imagine ten thousand

(15:41):
tons of TNT landing on a country the size of
New Jersey. This is an intolerable threat. It too must
be stopped. Iran is now working on what it calls
the new plan to destroy Israel. See the old plant failed.
Iran and its proxies try to encircle Israel with the
ring of fire and to attack us with the horrible

(16:03):
attack of October seventh. But the people of Israel, the
soldiers of Israel, rose like lions to defend our country.
We crushed fromas we devastated Rizbalah, we hit Iranian proxies
in Syria and Yemen, and when Iran directly attacked us
twice last year, we struck back inside Iran itself. Yet
in defending ourselves, we also defend others. We defend our

(16:25):
Arab neighbors. They too have suffered from Iran's campaign of
chaos and carnage. Our actions against Iran's proxy Hizbalah led
to the establishment of a new government in Lebanon and
the collapse of Asad's murderous regime in Syria. The peoples
of those two countries now have a chance for different future,
a better future. So too, to the brave people of Iran,

(16:47):
and I have a message for them. Our fight is
not with you. Our fight is with the brutal dictatorship
that has oppressed you for forty six years. I believe
that the day of your liberation is near. That happens,
the great friendship between our two ancient peoples will flourish
once again. I want to assure the civilized world, we

(17:08):
will not let the world's most dangerous regime get the
world's most dangerous weapons. And Iran plans to give those
weapons nuclear weapons to its terrorist proxies that would make
the nightmare of nuclear terrorism all too real. The increasing
range of Iran's ballistic missiles would bring that nuclear nightmare

(17:28):
to the cities of Europe and eventually to America.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Now, the Israeli Prime Minster net Now who also confirmed
that these air strikes may not just be a one
day and done, saying, quote, this operation will continue for
as many days as it takes, stating that the Iranian
officials were actively taking steps to weaponize it's enriched uranium
stockpile and calling on Tehran and saying they're a clear
and present danger to Israel's survival and also to others

(17:56):
in the world. Now, the Israeli Prime Minster net Now
who you also confirmed that these airstrikes may not just
be a one day and done, saying, quote, this operation
will continue for as many days as it takes, staying
that the Iranian officials were actively taking steps to weaponize
it's enriched uranium stockpile and calling on Tehran and saying

(18:17):
they're a clear and present danger to Israel's survival and
also to others in the world. Now, Center Cruz and
I set down for our podcast that we do Vertic
with Tech Cruz and I want to play for you
what we had to say, because he had just gotten
off the phone with the Israeli ambassador and had had
a briefing on this attack and what is next, and

(18:39):
I want you to hear what was said, So take
a listen. One of the things I love about doing
the show Center is moments after this attack took place
Israel on Iran, you were actually on the phone with
the ambassador from Israel. What did he tell you about
this attack? How long had they been planning this? What
was the final decision that made this happen in the

(19:02):
last several hours.

Speaker 7 (19:04):
Well, understand, this show happens real time. It happens real
time in real life. You and I are recording this
early in the morning Friday morning. This podcast will come
out later in the day on Friday, So some of
you will be listening to this on Friday, others of
you will be hearing this on radio on Saturday or Sunday.
And so the world may have changed forty eight hours
at the time when a war is initiating, it is

(19:27):
a mountain of time. What I can tell you is
late Thursday night, as Israel was launching it its attacks,
before Iran has engaged in a counter attack, I was
on the phone with the Israeli ambassador of the United
States and he told me that the attack at least
so far, had gone extraordinarily well, that they'd taken out

(19:49):
senior leadership of the IRGC. And I got to say,
by the way, that's a huge victory for the United
States of America. The IRGC has murdered over six hundred
American servicemen and women. They are grotesquely hostile to the
United States, and for Israel to take them out it
is an enormous benefit to America. But at the same time,

(20:12):
the Israeli ambassador told me that the instruction had gone
out in Israel to the people of Israel go to
a bomb shelter, either be in a bomb shelter or
be very near a bomb shelter, because they are anticipating
early in the morning Friday morning, that Iran is going
to launch a massive counter attack with ballistic weapons. And

(20:36):
Israel has extensive anti missile defenses, but Iran has sufficient
volume that if they launch everything, they have the capacity
to overwhelm the defenses, and so there is a very
real possibility. The people of Israel are braced. They understand. Look,
look that they're not playing they're not playing games that

(20:56):
they are playing with real stakes. They're playing with live rounds.
The people of Israel understand right now, as you and
I are recording this, that we may see Israelis die
right now because Iran has enough missiles that if they
launch them all, there will be Israeli's murdered in the
minutes and hours ahead of us. But at the same time,

(21:18):
Prime Minister Netanyah, who made the decision, it's a decision
I agree with. It's a decision that I think was right,
which is the risk of Israelis dying and of Americans dying.
If Iran acquires a nuclear weapon is qualitatively different that
we could face. With an Iranian nuclear weapon, we could

(21:40):
face millions murdered. And so listen, I want to underscore
what I said at the beginning of this podcast. Pray
for the people of Israel and pray for our servicemen
and women in har harm's way, because this is a
very very dangerous time right.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Now, Well, let's talk about who is targeted and what
this looks like moving forward from the standpoint of Israel.
I mean, the objective here is clearly to put them
back when it comes to a nuclear program. But they
also went after people that were involved in that program,
which is a really big way to move things backwards.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (22:13):
Look, this was a decapitation strike. It was targeted at
the senior military leaders in Iran. It was targeted at
the nuclear facilities in Iran. It was targeted at the
anti air assault facilities in Iran. It was a very
targeted but massively effective strike. Now, Iran is going to

(22:35):
strike back. Understand that that that's not a possibility or
a probability. It is a certainty that Iran will hit back. Now,
what I hope Iran understands is they should not hit
back at America. Hitting back at America would escalate this dramatically.
And I will say the Secretary of State Marco Rubio,

(22:56):
he put out a statement Thursday night. Let me read
his statement tonight. Israel took unilateral action against Iran. We
were not involved in strikes against Iran, and our top
priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel advised
US that they believe this action was necessary for its

(23:16):
self defense. President Trump and the administration have taken all
necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in close
contact with our regional partners. Let me be clear, Iran
should not target US interests or personnel. Now, look, I'm

(23:37):
glad that the Secretary of State was putting out that
statement defending our servicemen and women. I wish there had
been more in that statement saying we stand with Israel.
That was missing from the statement, and it shouldn't have been.
From my perspective, we stand unequivocally with Israel. But I
understand why the Secretary of State didn't do that, which

(23:57):
is that he's concerned that Iran may strike at US
military forces. Now, in my view, the way to prevent
that is not to say to Iran, hey, we had
nothing to do with that, which was the main theme
of the Secretary of State's statement, but rather to say,
if you attack US forces, the consequences will be overwhelming.

(24:21):
I think Iran responds more to stick than the carrot.
But we shall see. And it is any way you
look at it. On unbelievably dangerous time.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Senor, Let's talk about some of the people that have
been taken out here. There's two aspects of these strikes. One,
nuclear scientists are being reported that they were targeted and
have been killed, and that is the brains of the
nuclear program. If you want to stop Iran from doing this,
taking out nuclear scientists is absolutely brilliant. It's the computer system,

(24:55):
the nervous system of everything they're trying to accomplish. That's incredible.
But we we also now know from virtually every news
agency is reporting this that the IRGC tear chief Salami,
has also been eliminated. That is significant as well.

Speaker 7 (25:12):
Well, we now know that Hussein Salami is lunch meat
and I feel a little cheesy making fun of him,
but then again, the guy is a racist, genocidal, homicidal, lunatic.
So I hope after Salami, beloney and Pastrami both get
eliminated as well. And if you look at the head

(25:37):
of the IRGC, he has responsibility for murdering over six
hundred US servicemen and women. So if you love the
men and women of the Armed Services, if you are
grateful for friends, family, loved ones who serve defending this nation,

(25:57):
then you ought to say tonight to the nation of
his real thank you, thank you for taking out the
head of the IRGC that is responsible for murdering hundreds
of American servicemen and women. President Trump when he was
president the first time, he took out General Solimani, and
now today the Israelis have taken out Solami a successor

(26:20):
who is the terror chief of the IRGC, and he
is now with his seventy two versions, so that I
will tell you, much to his dismay, those virgins are
all Gomer Pyle and it's not what he hoped for.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
I got to say one of the best parts about
this story just side note, if you look up Asaami
on his pages on the Wikipedia, it already says he's
like the former guy in charge of the IRGC. I
love the Internet when they get it right really quickly. Center.
It is amazing to see this moment history, because this
is a moment in history. And I got to ask

(26:55):
you this. A ran now is going to respond. I'm
sure in some way. I'm sure Israel is expecting that
you made it very quidinite America's warning and from this administration,
what happens next and what is Israel expecting in your mind.

Speaker 7 (27:13):
Well, it depends on the escalation. I think it is
one hundred percent certain that Iran will respond by firing
missiles at Israel. Israel gets that, they understand that they're
ready for that. There is some real possibility that Iran
will respond by firing missiles or other weapons at Americans.
And I think if they do that, they will dramatically

(27:35):
escalate this conflict. I think they will provoke. If they
murder American servicemen and women, I think you will see
President Trump respond with devastating force. And so again my
message to the IATOLA is, do not do that. Their
response to Israel, I don't know what it will be.
There is a risk that their response is devastating, that

(27:55):
it is overwhelming. They have a massive number of ballistic missiles,
so if they fire them, all the odds are significant
that we will see a very large number of Israelis murdered.
What I'm saying, Prime Minister Netanyaho understands. He knows that,
he knows that, but by virtue of engaging this attack tonight,

(28:16):
there is a real risk of a significant number of
Israelis being murdered. But he did this because he knows
that if Iran has a nuclear weapon, many many more
Israelis and many many more Americans are at risk of
being murdered. Look the Iatola chance death to America and
death to Israel. I believe he believes that, and so

(28:39):
acquiring a nuclear weapon is not just an academic question.
If he gets a nuclear weapon, I believe he is
trying to acquire one because he wants to carry out
his promises of death to Israel and death to America.
And that's precisely why Israel has launched this attack, to
stop him from getting that capability.
