Speaker 1 (00:00):
The first step would be to give up on the
mass deportation fantasy. About one in five fairfact residents is
someone who could be deported or who lives with them.
It would destroy neighborhoods, rip Americans away from their spouses, parents, friends, families, customers, employees, employers, nurses, natives,
and teachers.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Good Friday morning. Nice to have you with us on
the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got two major
stories for you. First up, Democrats are now admitting that
there is a massive number of illegal immigrants in this country.
In fact, in the largest county in Virginia, they're admitting
that twenty percent of the population could be deported. So
(00:46):
now they're saying it's impossible to do it, so they
must all stay. I'll have more on this and the
audio in just a moment. Plus what does this mean nationwide?
And how bad are the census numbers when it comes
to county illegal immigrants and how much power is that
actually giving Democrats in Washington by adding seats to liberal states.
(01:07):
I break it down for you. Every day Americans make
choices that shape our country's future, right down to which
cell phone provider we support. Here's what most people don't
actually realize. Patriot Mobile isn't just a wireless provider. They're
an activist organization funded by selling top tier cell service.
(01:28):
They've been on the front lines defending our freedoms long
before it was cool, standing up and the gap when
others wouldn't. The best part is they deliver prioritized premium
service on all three major US networks, giving you the
same or even better coverage backed by one hundred percent
US based customer support. You get unlimited data, mobile hotspots,
(01:51):
international roaming, and so much more. But when you switch
to Patriot Mobile, that's what I love the most. You'll
help grow a movement that fuels the Christian conservative cause.
Every bill you pay helps advance the values of faith, family,
and freedom. And switching is easier than ever. You can
literally activate in minutes, keep your number, keep your phone,
(02:14):
or upgrade. So go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ben
forty seven or call ninety seven to Patriot and if
you use the promo code ben forty seven you'll get
a free month of service. That's Patriotmobile dot com slash
ben forty seven or ninety seven to Patriot and switch
Today it's the forty seven Morning Update, and it starts
(02:37):
right now.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Story number one.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
When Donald Trump ran for president, he made it very
clear he was going to put Americans first, that was
the top of his agenda, and he was going to
make sure that people that had broken in this country,
that were here illegally, would no longer be put ahead
of Americans, they wouldn't be able to get as many
government benefits as they've been getting so far, and that
(02:59):
he was going to move to deport them. Well, we
have a new firestorm of an example of exactly what
President Trump was talking about. It's now erupting in Fairfax County, Virginia,
and it's rapidly becoming a national symbol in the debate
over immigration as well as the census, as well as
political representation and the future balance of power in Washington,
(03:23):
d C. Fairfax County is the largest county in Virginia,
sitting just outside of Washington, DC, and according to figures
now being discussed by immigration analysts and lawmakers, roughly one
in five residents I want to say that again, roughly
one in five residents in Fairfax county could potentially be
(03:47):
subject to deportation or removal proceedings under stricter immigration enforcement standards.
We're talking about twenty percent of the population in Virginia's
largest count right outside of Washington, d C. Are individuals
that shouldn't be in this country in the first place.
(04:07):
Now that staggering number has ignited outrage among critics and
current immigration policies. It's also triggered new congressional scrutiny of
sanctuary style policies in the region. There was part of
this that became very clear and a hearing on Washington,
d C. Where a Cato Institute individual said this before Congress.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
The first step would be to give up on the
mass deportation fantasy. About one in five Fairfact residents is
someone who could be deported or who lives with them.
It would destroy neighborhoods, rip Americans away from their spouses, parents, friends, families, customers, employees, employers, nurses, nannies,
(04:53):
and teachers.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
This guy is mister Bayer. He's a random guy that
tells you that one one and five Fairfax residence is
someone who could be deported or lives with them. It
is not normal. The twenty percent of the largest county
in Virginia could be deported. What's even more shocking is
how not normal it is for the new argument of
the left to be, well, there's just too many illegal immigrants,
(05:19):
so you cannot deport them. The logic here is now,
instead of lying to you about how many illegal immigrants
are in America, the Democratic Party in the left are
now saying, we'll tell you exactly how many there are
to prove a point that there are so many illegal
immigrants that are in the United States of America that
(05:39):
you need to get rid of the fantasy that we
are going to actually deport all of them, and it
would destroy communities if you did it, so therefore you
cannot do it. I want to play this clip one
more time, and now that you understand the messaging here
and what their motivation is, listen to how the new
(06:01):
argument of the left has completely changed.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
It's them.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
The first step would be to give up on the
mass deportation fantasy. About one in five fairfact residents is
someone who could be deported or who lives with them.
It would destroy neighborhoods, rip Americans away from their spouses, parents, friends, families, customers, employees, employers, nurses, nannies,
(06:25):
and teachers.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Let me be clear, Let me be clear, really all right,
Republicans on Capitol Hill, now is your opportunity to use
the Fairfax County as a case study in what they
describe as the consequences of failed immigration enforcement and sanctuary
government policies. Hearings have focused on accusations now that the
(06:49):
local officials have no or limited cooperation with federal immigration authorities,
including ICE, while legal immigrant numbers have surged nationwide, as
Democrats seem to be now saying, we want to count
all the illegal immigrants, not underplay the number, but actually
tell you an honest number. So the problem looks so
(07:11):
big that it's inhumane to try to stop it.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Next story number two.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Now, behind the controversy is a much larger and an
even more explosive national issue. It is how immigration, both
legal and illegal, is reshaping political representation in the United
States of America. Now, that is the whole plan of
the Democratic Party, and right now, under the current Census
Bureau policy, every person living in the United States of
(07:39):
America is counting the census. That means that all citizens,
all legal immigrants, all green card holders, all refugees, all
visa holders, all asylum seekers, and this is the most
important category for Democrats. All illegal immigrants are counted. The
(08:00):
Census explicitly states that congressional appointment is based on counting
all persons residing in the country, regardless of citizenship status.
That matters because the census determines far more than just
population statistics. Every ten years, census totals determine something that's
(08:21):
extremely important, how many seats each state receives in the
House of Representatives. Those same numbers also determine the Electoral
College votes in the presidential elections, and they influence the
distribution of hundreds of billions of federal dollars. Now, just
hit pause for a second and think about this. Is
it fair to say that in Virginia there's a very
(08:44):
good chance that there are too many representatives in Washington
representing people of Virginia based on the number of illegal immigrants.
I think the answer is based on the evidence. It's overwhelming.
Moved to a place like California. California has a massive
number of individuals representing the state in Congress. They have
(09:05):
an incredible amount of power as a state. They also
have an incredible amount of power in picking the president
of the United States of America. California helps Democrats get
much closer to the finish line on election night every
single time we have a presidential election. And the reason
why there is so much power is based on the
(09:26):
fact that we're counting illegal immigrants. Now, more people county
means more political power, and that's exactly why you're now
hearing people like mister Bayer who are telling you the
truth on the illegal immigrant numbers because they want that power.
Organizations like the Center for Immigration Studies have argued that
immigration levels legal and illegal combined have shifted congressional seats
(09:52):
and electoral College votes towards high immigration states for decades.
Their analysis claim states with large non citizen populations receive
additional representation because non citizens are included in the census
counts even though they cannot vote in federal elections. California,
as I mentioned earlier, is the perfect example for this debate.
(10:16):
California gained enormous political influence because of population growth that
was fueled heavily by illegal immigrants. The state is also
now experiencing a major population exodus as residents leave over
the high taxes. The housing costs, crime concerns, costs of
living pressures. California actually lost a congressional seat after the
(10:36):
twenty twenty census for the first time in state history.
Yet analysts note that California may have lost even more
political representation if non citizens had not been included in
the census count, and it brings up an even bigger question.
Is it time for the American people, for the Republican Party,
(11:01):
for the president United States America to bring this debate
front and center. When you have one in five Fairfax
residence is someone that should be deported, you know you've
got a massive problem. Twenty percent of the largest county
in Virginia not a border state is a massive red
flag for other states. And the question now is not
(11:24):
only how many illegals are actually in this country, but
how much are they costing you as a taxpayer, and
how much are they skewing the election towards Democratic candidates
because of the census.
