Speaker 1 (00:01):
I wanted to ask you, mister President, about iran An
honor Ran. You came to the conclusion that you couldn't
negotiate with the IRGC. Does that mean that you might
wipe them out like you did Isis?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah, it does. We will see what's happening. We received
a call just as it was coming here.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Yeah, so, mister President, Dan Kaine. Raising Kane is your
chief of staff. He was the one there joints chief
of staff. He was the one who wiped out Isis.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Could he be.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Tasked then now to wipe out the RGC If you
can't negotiate, well, will it.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Gonna be a good shape?

Speaker 4 (00:31):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Good Thursday morning.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
It's so nice to have you with us on the
forty seven Morning Update, and we've got a very big
story for you. It is interesting to watch the Democratic
Party allow the Democratic.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Socialists to take over.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Well.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
They now have put out their new platform and where
they want to get rid of virtually everything that makes
us a democracy and makes us the United States of America.
We have the list for you and you don't want
to miss it. It's a forty seven Morning Update, and
it starts right now story number one.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
If you want to understand how dramatically the far left
wants to transform America, well it's now in writing. You
have to look no further than the newly unveiled platform
from the Democratic Socialists of America known as the DSA.
Now this isn't simply another policy paper that's calling for,

(01:30):
you know, higher taxes and bigger government, which they love.
This is now a document that envisions fundamentally restructuring the
American system of government itself. Now, let me be very
clear what we're talking about. The DSA is an activist
political organization. They are not a governing body, and its

(01:51):
platform has no legal force. But they're running for office
and now they become incredibly influential in the Democratic coalition
as a whole. Many of the races right now are
running Democratic Socialist candidates in the Democratic primaries, and a
growing number of candidates not only identifying, but also receiving

(02:12):
support and winning. So what exactly are they proposing. Well,
Kayleie Mcananny explained it as she got the platform notes,
and here's what it said.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Well, the DSA debuted their New Workers Deserve More program
yesterday with a set of radical new policies that would
gut the constitution radically transform life in the United States.
The document pitches an idyllic future under socialism. Quote, imagine
taking a day off from work. In a future without capitalism,

(02:45):
you work as much as you are able, and no
more than needed, and you would control your own labor
and see it going to good use. It's not just
a job to pay the bills. Speaking of bills, you
don't really have them anymore. You have no debt, you
don't need health insurance, you don't pay a mortgage or
have a landlord because comfortable housing is a human right.
Just because it isn't easy to imagine how doesn't mean

(03:07):
we shouldn't try to make it happen. Wow, The problem
is it's failed everywhere it's been tried.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Got to be clear.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
What they're asking for is replacing America our constitutional structure
with a socialist, communist Marxist system. The platform, by the Way,
calls for replacing the electoral College with a national popular vote,
expanding the House of Representatives so that they have the edge,
ending the Senate Filipbuster, reducing the Supreme Court's power of

(03:38):
judicial review.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Meaning they're basically meaningless.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
And moving towards a quote new constitutional framework that's centered
on a single federal legislature.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
This is again all in writing.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Now, if you think about what this proposal means, the
United States of America was deliberately designed with three equal
branches of government, the executive, the legislative, and the judicial.
Now Communists understand that, and they understand that's a problem.
So what they said was no, no, no, we're done
with that and forget to legislative chambers in the House
and Senate.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Right, No, that's gone as well.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
The DSA is now telling Americans that all of these
institutions are undemocratic and they should be fundamentally restructured. Now
they say these changes would make quote government more representative,
and they argue that this is a dismantling of the
core of the problems we have in this country. Constitutional
checks that we don't need, balances that we don't need.

(04:39):
They want none of those things to exist.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Now, how did we get to this point. I'm going
to play for you part of that history.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
Well, okay, in a good friend of mine at Fox
actually put it together talking about how the Democratic Party
has now allowed and it's really interesting to watch the
communists and the socialists to avert completely take over.

Speaker 7 (05:01):
And as socialism takes root. Now in the Democrat Party,
are voters taking to socialism? We may not have an
answer yet, but we are getting a pretty clear picture
of what Democratic Socialists have in mind for America. Total fundamental,
radical change to pretty much every area of government. The
DSA underscoring that plan for a people in a new

(05:24):
platform just released. Let's walk through it together. We have
it up on the wall. It's no less radical than
starting with replacing the President and the Supreme Court of
the United States. But we're just now getting started because
the DSA would also abolish the United States Senate, expand
the House of Representatives, and move to rank choice voting,

(05:47):
the likes of which you see in California. Still working
to transform America. The DSA proposes, like many Democrats, to
make Washington, DC a state, to defund the Department of War,
end ice attention and deportation, and grant amnesty to all
illegal immigrants. Now, these are the radical transformational things proposed

(06:12):
by the Democratic Socialist of America. Some of these we've
heard already from establishment Democrats. They've opened the door, and
the DSA has simply walked through the door.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Would you like to abolish the Senate?

Speaker 7 (06:28):
That's part of our platform, And we don't think that's extreme.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
We think it's a.

Speaker 7 (06:33):
Change that would help make this country more democratic.

Speaker 8 (06:35):
We need that illegal aliens in the country, don't.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
They need to be removed.

Speaker 9 (06:39):
We believe that demilitarizing the border, that violent oppression of
working class immigrants who come here, is not something that
most Americans want.

Speaker 7 (06:47):
Democrats are left scrambling. America may be left scrambling. It's
like running for class president in high school against someone
that promises free ice team for everybody every day at lunch.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I mean, take a look.

Speaker 7 (06:58):
These are types of things being said by the imagine
taking a day off from work. In the future without capitalism,
you work as much as you are able and no
more than needed, and it's always accompanied by the friendly
little fist deal not sweet enough for you?

Speaker 2 (07:14):
There's more. How about this from the DSA.

Speaker 7 (07:17):
You won't have any bills, no debt, no need for
health insurance, no mortgage, no landlords, retirement publicly funded. Sounds
too good to be true. That's because, of course, you're
not a sap. But for now, all of this is
too much for traditional Democrats. It's too hard to compete.

(07:38):
So you're looking at traditional establishment democrats say don't look here,
look over here, Like for a President Biden who has
a book he'd like to talk about, but not until
after the midterms.

Speaker 8 (07:50):
It's about the challenge we face as a nation, about
these decisions I made.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Why I made.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
Them, leading the country through COVID, rebuilding.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
Our economy and restoring our democracy after the attack on
January sixth, any in our nation's longest war in Afghandestan.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Strength data is supporting.

Speaker 7 (08:16):
Ukraine as Biden slurs his way through the past the
far left full stream ahead into the future, knocking the
Democrat establishment off its feet in the process. So the
big tent we've heard about, well, it's hard to really
know if they're winning the hearts and minds the DSA.
Are they winning the hearts and minds of Democrats. It's

(08:36):
hard to know, just know they're running against this.

Speaker 9 (08:39):
I request thirty more seconds because I rise before you,
adorning these gentlemen for personal tension, not for personal attention,
but to encourage you to take I am going to
be working on our behalf. I am going to be
telling the stories on our behalf, and you better believe

(09:01):
I'm going to be doing it with a little bit
of joy, a little bit of enthusiasm, a little bit
of energy, and a little bit of sicket to them,
because that's the Michigan way.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
That is Democratic establishment candidate Haley Stevens, who's running against
socialist candidate Abdul Lsi, ed for Senate in Michigan. Somebody
clever on X said. The Democrats said we need new voices,
and here's Haley Stevens to offer you a nineteen thirties
baseball manager. But can't we say it's something we've seen before.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
You better thank a union member.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
For the five day work week.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
You better thank a union member for sick leave.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
You better thank a union member for paid leave.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
You better thank a union member for vacation time.

Speaker 9 (09:46):
All right, all right, listen, all right, listen, listen, Okay,
list see.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I don't feel no ways tired. I come too far
from where I started from. Nobody told me that the
road would be easy.

Speaker 7 (10:05):
Hayley Stevens doesn't even take the gold for changing accents
in front of her audience, and not least among Democrats.
But the problem, see for Democrats isn't how they're speaking,
it's what they're speaking about. That's the problem.

Speaker 8 (10:18):
Legitimately, when the campaign consultants told me, hey, we're gonna
hit this line because Kamala Harris came out in favor
of taxpayer funded sex changes for illegal aliens, and I
remembering myself, come on, you guys, like, she didn't really
say that.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
It's taken out of context. And then I go and
look at it. I'm like, holy, she actually said.

Speaker 8 (10:39):
That, and was she really was like the very worst
version of what the Democrats were producing in twenty twenty.
The thing is it was they were all doing it
because that was the incentives of the party.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
You listen there by the way to the Vice president
and what he's saying, this is the incentives of the party.
It is no oh shock that we now are at
a point where we have the Democratic Socialists of America
who really are running the agenda, who are pushing the future,
who are advocating for destroying this country. When they tell

(11:16):
you what they believe in, please believe them. They're not lying, folks.
This is what they believe. And it's only going to
get worse.
