Speaker 3 (01:08):
It's a podcast called twenty five wist fucking Ball and
they went a whist.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
So yeah, it's too.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Bad, but what did you expect.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
It's a podcast called twenty five Whistline by Eddy blow.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Whistle's looking at our parlay and Kevin and I missed
yeah last night, so.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Me and Reed got it around. It never happens out
of the four of us is crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Yeah, wow, yeah, wait, we'll talk about it. Well.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
That goes to show you that this is all just
kind of luck.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
It's not I mean, it's not me. Hey. I will
start by saying this, though I have have been on
a cooler and so I've hit six in a row.
I didn't bet to parlay and be asking you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
That's why.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
No, it's I tell you guys. I don't like the parlays.
I hate having to make them.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
If you don't have faith in our parlay, how are
we supposed to put that out?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Most if I do all them.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
I got, I got it. Yeah makes sense.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I've fits. I fits six bets in a row. I
was so cold that I then was like, let's just
and then I did a heat check where I bet eat.
During the game, I bet Lad mcconkeye and Texans wide
receiver Nico Collins score touchdown both as a PARLAYO hit

(02:32):
them both. Come believe it. I bet a thousand bucks
on Ohio State to cover, and I bet big on
the one we bet on. Yeah, so were the ones
easy go kind of easy come. I'm not quite back yet,
but I'm off the I'm off just eating green streak. Yeah,

(02:55):
that's all I was doing, was eating green peas. Like
three days is a rough one. Uh, we'll start with Kevin,
how about you? Yeah, big deal, Kevin is it master.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
Patriots fan's right, that's right?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Even bigger than him getting engaged?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Yeah oh yeah, yeah, yeah, sure, bigger than that.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Mike Rabel's dad, coach and the Patriots.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Yeah yeah, I mean, forget the twins that are coming.
Mike Rabel is a coach. Got Mike freaking Rabel your thoughts.
I love it. It was a very very good way
to start the day, like the one and only with
the Dan Hurley. I believe it. Ukon said, you better
get us now because we're coming and the Patriots are
coming back. We got the quarterback, we got the head coach.
That's the two pillars that you need to restart this

(03:39):
organization in the right direction. And we're on our way.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Not if the Jets have something to say about are.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
Going down again they don't have a coach. Y Yeah,
I love it. I just I watched the news conference
this morning and Rabel he fires me up, man, I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
If they would have hired Brabel from the Titans, meaning
when the Titans they were just playing ho hum, if
they would have hired him from the Titans, how would
you felt like right when Belichick left Belichick were hiring
Raibele from the Titans, because my feeling is you wouldn't
be as pumped.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
I would have maybe, well, because here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
These coaches that sometimes lose a job and they have
a year off, they kind of get rebuilt by the media.
Had an amazing and again I'm not saying he wasn't
amazing at what he does, but it's almost like a
rehab year.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Mike McCarthy, right, he took a little time off. A
lot of that happens with a lot of coaches.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Yeah, I don't know that you would have loved it
as much if Rabel comes from the Titans and goes
right to the Patriots.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Maybe not as much. That's a good point. It's always
that saying too. You don't really know what you're missing
until it's gone. So you're always like, oh, Belichick's it's
time for him to go. Let's get something. That mail
comes in, you're like, oh my gosh, this is really bad.
And then you get something new and you get a
little like, you know, rejoice and something new. And Rabel
coming in, but his teams, I mean he had Henry,
he had Ryan Tannehill and they went like twelve and five.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
They had the one seat that one year too.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
But didn't he draft Marcus Mariota or is that before?

Speaker 5 (05:01):
And then did he have Mariota? And then his front
office got rid of a J. Brown Derrick Henry eventually well.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Then stand up be a man to keep him as
the coach. My point isn't so much about Rabel, but
a lot of times when a coach gets fired and
takes a year off, there's kind of like this new
Polish that's put on them, and it's like, oh, I
wonder because he has all these options, Well he didn't
last year.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
And is it do you think Rabel is a good
coach or is it that he's a patriot and he's
back home.

Speaker 7 (05:28):
No.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
I think he's a good coach. I think Mayo had
trouble leading like a team in an organization and getting
the right coaches. And then Rabel comes in and he's
immediately I feel like going to have these guys respect,
and the entire team and the organization is going to
buy into what he's selling. With Mayo, I mean, he
was all over the place all year, like throwing his
players under the bus, his coaches under the bus. Where

(05:49):
Rabel will be whether it's good or right, or right
or wrong, he'll say this is my fault. I'll get
on track.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
He's had experience being a head coach. Mayo has not. Yeah,
so again you're comparing Mayo's first year to Vrabel's head
coaching career. But again that's the reason why they're hiring him.
I think you a culture guy. I think he's also
a good coach. Because as much as I'm messing around
about would you have wanted them for the Titans, like
he did a lot with a little here, yeah before

(06:14):
we are Yeah, it wasn't like they were loading them
up with weapons.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
And he said we need to get the past game
going for the Patriots. So well then I'm loaded. He said,
we're coming.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Let's go big. Okay, let's do best news then best
news of the weekend, and it can be in whatever
form you want. If it can be uh sports or life?
Is yours gonna be vrabel?

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Oh yeah, Eddie, I mean mine's breaking news. I think
the best news for us is the Dallas Cowboys got
rid of Mikeelworthy and not.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Necessarily see it. I've been so my head's been in
work all morning.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
We're finally coachless and now we're open.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
We wouldn't let him interview with the Bears and they
fire him.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Apparently they couldn't get the contract right, so it took
time to get the length of the contract.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
That's starty dog boom. They wouldn't let him interview with
the Bears and then they cut him. Bears jobs still
open though, But.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Is it dirty dog? Because they let Ezekiel Elliott go
to the Chargers and play a playoff game.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
That's not the same thing that a little bit. Dude,
I did not know you got a film. Is there
any other news to that?

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Cause again, that's it, and he's no longer a cowboy.
So now we're open for business and it just happened. Yeah,
Deon Sanders, we're here. That's who you want if you
bring Shador.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
But you can't just bring Shador. It's not like he
can just put him on the flight to be like
I declare Shador a cowboy.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
You're your other two sons, even the social media guy
bring him to bring him to I mean, look, McCarthy,
I think was a pretty good coach. I honestly think
that if the Cowboys, if they can just if Jerry
can just let a head coach be a head coach.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
But that's you're saying if dude, he's not done that
in his entire lifetime, bating the owner.

Speaker 8 (07:51):
I know.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
But I think there are certain coaches, certain people, certain
personalities that could do that, and I think Dion could
be a personality like that. They can be like, hey, Jared,
come on, let me do my thing.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Does he sound like ulkkan brother, come on, here we go.
I'm just seeing it. So it was posted from when
we record this forty eight minutes ago, with Cowboys head
coach Mike McCarthy eligible to talk to other teams after
midnight Tuesdays, still haven't been indigoshens on a new deal.
And then that gets updated twelve minutes later, boom. Mike

(08:23):
McCarthy is not expected to return to the Dallas Cowboys.
It is now set to become a free agent. The
two sides engaged and no discussions about a new deal. See,
that's what sucks because that makes the Bears think completely.
If they had no talks about a new deal and
they kept them from interviewing with the Bears, that sucks.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
It is dirty.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
That's dirty dog. I'll go back to it. McCarthy is
expected to be a candidate in Chicago and New Orleans.
Chicago hasn't filled that job, so you can still go.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
There we go. It's okay, We're all good.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
And that's dirty dog, dude.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
So that's good news for us. I think just starting
news good news for us. That'd be great.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Yeah, Okay, outside of Dion, like say a Ben Jonson or.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Because Dion wanted to go to the Raiders. But now
they're saying the Raiders don't have interest in Dion because
Tom Brady's running that. So let's say it's not the Raiders.
Let's say it's not the Cowboys, Like who who?

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Who is it?

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Because again Ben Johnson, but he's never been a head coach.
Jerry's gonna pus him around. He doesn't really have the
credibility to go to Like, no, this is how playing
to coach this team?

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Saban, Saban, Come on, why would.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
You want a college coach who failed in the NFL's
first time and is also in his seventies.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
We're all about second chances.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Dude's gonna live. He's gonna live ten years, much as
how long is it gonna be able with coach?

Speaker 3 (09:34):
I don't know, man, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
Carol, Well, we're on the old man.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
He wants back in, Yeah, he wants back in.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
Pet Carroll's pretty cool. He really the hell?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
You really don't know?

Speaker 3 (09:44):
No clue, dude, no clue. And even like if we
try to guess, it's gonna be someone that we didn't
even know.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
How about this? Sorry?

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Oh it's sark.

Speaker 9 (09:54):
Not a bad move three hours up the road then
to pay for a big relocation at the mo BO
sark could be good if they can't boom breaking news
Steve Sarkesian is now the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Your feeling would be.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
That'd be interesting, But I don't think. I don't think
that Jerry's gonna let entailing would be we're the same,
then we're gonna be in the same position, just another
coach rotating through.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
That has been how it's been for like the last
twenty years.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Forever, dude, forever, it's the same coach coming in and
then them trying, Oh, they're gonna be the savior, and
then two years later like get rid of them. But
then why do you think this will be different if
Dion someone like a like Jimmy Johnson who can come
in and be like, I'm the coach, let me be
the coach, but he trust me, trust me, Jerry, I
got this, But.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
It hasn't happened in twenty plus years, right?

Speaker 3 (10:40):
But who we add Wade Phillips like who we have?
Garrett does classic Garrett.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Good turnover, good turnover. So you're saying, if it is that,
you'll be happy. But do you think it'll be someone
like that? Is my question.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I think it's gonna have to be someone like that,
so Jerry and the kids understand the situation. They're gonna
allow someone like that back in.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Good luck, thank you, Casey.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I mean, I'm a Jet fan, so it's been pretty bleak.

Speaker 10 (11:08):
Man.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
I don't know, no news. I mean, Rex Ryan might
be coming back. I don't really want that.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
I mean, surely not right. I don't know. I mean,
he seems pretty convinced.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
On convinced, and I've watched him say he hopes that
he gets to coach so we can beat Rabel a
couple of times a year. But is there really any chance?

Speaker 3 (11:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
I mean, I'm hoping that we could get that Aaron
Glenn guy from Detroit. I guess you know, the best
option I think that we realistically have.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Do you feel like you need someone to like Eddie saying,
because whatdy Johnson a culture guy, right, but someone that
can actually have a voice against the owner.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
Yeah, I mean I was hoping that was Rabel, but
once we interviewed him, that's when Kraft fired. So you know,
the Jets helping out the Patriots.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Best case scenario for US coach.

Speaker 6 (11:55):
Best case scenario, he goes, I mean, honestly, I think
it's got to be Glenn or Ben Johnson, but I
want one of the Lions guys.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yeah, that would be my pick.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Read what's your best news for the weekend?

Speaker 11 (12:07):
Oh man, mine actually pertains to TV shows. You actually
shared it, and you shared that the second season of
Severance is coming out this week, and that is like
one of my all that Yeah, one of my favorite
shows I've ever watched. And I had no idea that
there was even going to be a second season until
I saw your story.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
You didn't even know the season.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
You broke the news.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
You broke the news, and I got them.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Mine is just stopping the freezer that I lived in
for betting because I was I figured.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
It would be the Texas loss. No, that wasn't the
best thing.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
No, it's not. And here's why I don't like Ohio
Sted either. I'm glad Texas lost. Eventually. I think the
best case scenario for me would have been.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
They both.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Well, I think Ohio State's just gonna run Notre Dame.
I don't think Texas would have run Notre Dame. Texas
would have like lucked out, not even luked out. They
played pretty good, you know, they were They had a
chance cloud were they first and one, first and goal
from the one it. Yes, had Texas been able to

(13:14):
win that game, I think Notre Dame would have probably
beat them. I don't think Notre Dame could be to
Ohio State. I don't like Ohio State winning it. Yeah,
so not the best. I'm happy they thank god they lost.
Mostly it's like a relief more than it is a
happy defense Mike.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Yeah, that was bad.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (13:29):
I told myself like, as long as we were competitive,
I wouldn't go to be sad.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
But I was still sad. Like one yard away and you.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Got to the same spot both years, right, Yeah, isn't
this it one final four?

Speaker 5 (13:38):
What about the screen Mike at the end of the
first half, seventy five yards that's stupid. Yeah, that is
so frustrating.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Well, it was like the worst case money on it defensive.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
Three and a half Texas that you might have screen
in the first half, the.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Worst worst ever defensive call. Oh you had a halftime
bet and and the perfect offensive call because they blitzed
and they threw the screen. One guy missed and he
was gone gone, So we can second guess that forever.
But it was the worst meets the best worst thing
they could have done at that point with them running

(14:13):
the screen was blitz those guys. So that's a bad one.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
You see. They benched the kicker too.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Auburn doesn't kick anymore.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I know that hurt.

Speaker 7 (14:20):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
After Stark was all like, you're my favorite.

Speaker 8 (14:23):
I love you.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
I leve wwya my love w w. Then he moves on.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Oh and they kept showing him on the sideline with hair.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Classic Cowboys coach, you know what I mean? Yeah? No,
mine is again. I think I hit five in a row.
I didn't bet the late game last night becase I
don't think i'd make it to the end, and I did.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Did you make it?

Speaker 1 (14:44):
And I saw the joint this morning?

Speaker 3 (14:45):
It wasn't that late.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I was tired, dude, Okay, I was really tired. What
time did the game end?

Speaker 5 (14:50):
Yeah it was like ten thirty.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Oh yeah that's late.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
But he's talking the late news, nightly news, the news news.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah I you missed the doink. Yeah, I just And
also I didn't even care about that game. I didn't
care play off football. You guys going to sleep early.
If I were going to rank the games I cared
least about. That was probably the one I cared least about.
It was the closest game out of all of them,
because again, yeah, they all sucked, yeah pretty much. Yeah, No,

(15:20):
I didn't. I didn't care that much. So and we
can roll through that in a second. But the first
round of the NFL playoffs much like the first round
of the college football playoffs. M yeah, it was wild
card the dud. Yeah, but it was it was good
because I made little money. We liked that, man, man,
we love that. As we look at the parlay we

(15:41):
went too and two of four and if you've even
missed one, you get none.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
That's a parlay. Yeah, it works.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
So that's it. So we didn't we didn't hit that
to all everybody who bet that, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
I think we missed the first game.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
Yep, we did.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Yeah, oh the Steelers. Yeah, but that was a late
Saturday game, so we didn't feel like losers until late Saturday.
So all like Saturday, before it even hit, we're like, yeah,
we even lost.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Yeah, because we did that on the Texas game, the Texans.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
You should do pick six. So pick six is awesome.
You can even do pick six in places where maybe
you can't do it, like DraftKings but pick six and
you can do it with the game tonight. You choose
more or less if they have a stat like, for example,
Vikings at Rams, Sam Donald more or less than two
sixty five passing, Laddie More, Justin Slingt, Justin Jefferson more

(16:27):
or less than eighty nine yards.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Receiving way more, who gonna go it.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
More or less than ninety one receiving yards? You want
all more more and Matt Stafford more or less than
two forty one passing. That's that's even less than Sam Donald's.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Let's go more.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
You're going four more more.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Give me a little more.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Dang. Download the new Draft Kings Pick six app and
use the code Bobby Sports. It is a whole different app.
It's called DraftKings Pick six So check that out.

I want to play this for you guys. It's phrases
from the nineties. This was a video they put out
like but it was a VHS and it made like
a news show. And this guy's giving phrases from the nineties,
so parents could know what their kids were saying. Oh wow,
this is crazy, dude, it's hilarious. Here we go.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
You want to be sure.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
To sound hip in the nineties. Yo, a greeting, Yo, curve.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
What's up?

Speaker 4 (17:44):
Clutch the Pearls said, in amazement or disbelief, Well.

Speaker 10 (17:48):
You know he's married.

Speaker 5 (17:50):
Clutch the Pearls.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
In the eighties, it was just placed it.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
I don't know how many I had, but boy did
I get fucked.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
I just felt that we're saying bucked.

Speaker 7 (18:03):
But sure.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
I hope you didn't drive home no way.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Mcgiver is in the TV show where the impossible is
often accomplished.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
I can't believe you got off that speeding ticket.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
What a mcguiver.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
I never used Clutched the Pearls when someone clutches their pearls.
I don't use that in this thing.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
I still going.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
You really the novel black and Decker or a real
tough assignment. You get the analogy, right, This.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
Job is a real grind, just a black and Decker.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
Some phrases may be around forever.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
Well, look I gotta run by time.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Clutch the pearls. If someone's clutching the pearls and now
it's like they're faking like they're offended and they're not,
you never say it.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
I have never heard that one.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
What pearls? Well, so you don't even say it now.
It's just like if you're like, all right, stop clutching
your pearls. That's like, stop acting like you're offended, whene're not.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Have you ever said that?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
No, The only one of those I've ever said were
Black and Decker.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
I used to you did ye wow, mcguiver, how'd you
do that? Did you get here so quick?

Speaker 5 (19:16):
I said that one time to my dad and he's.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Like, you know that, he's so proud. I'd be like, yo,
of course the greedy that was about it? Eddie may
have gone a little too hard at basketball practice. Yeah,
are you coaching?

Speaker 3 (19:28):
No, I'm not coaching, but I go to I take
my son to practice, and then the two coaches usually
get dads from the you know that are sitting on
the side and will you help just kind of like
stand in or help us kind of with passing, and
we were doing charging. The coach was taught teaching the
kids how to take a charge, and so they're like, Eddie,
coach Eddie, why don't you get the ball and just
like act like you're driving the lane and charge, and.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
So I did, Oh no, dude, I.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
Don't have asked anything. Man, I got that ball and
I went drove the lane and when the first kid,
he didn't really do it right, start walking backwards, so
then he tripped backwards. I fell on top of him.
I made two kids cry the whole the whole practice.
It was terrible.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
It was terror videos parents versus kids, and their kids
are like six and they're in football football. The moms, dude,
that's hilarious. That's kind of what I feel like. That is.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Yeah, and some of the other dads are like, Okay,
coach Addie, don't go so hard this a little bit
with the break. But I feel like if I didn't
go hard, they would never learn how to do it,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
That's not true. They don't need an adult man to
run into them.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
No, Like, what's gonna happen comes Saturday when a kid
comes charging down the lane.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
That's when they learn. That's when you learn, not when
I'm through experience of Okay, maybe I should have lightened
up a little bit. Your peers going to give them PTSD.
But you didn't do that with your kids, though, You
just hurt other kids.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
I do with my kids too.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
No, no, But I'm saying it's the practice.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
No, No, Well, my kid knows that I take a charge.
We've already practiced that on our own.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
You'd make him cry home exactly, just when no one
else is around. Read you're not you know, I'm assuming
you didn't watch a lot of sports this weekend that
you don't normally negative. What did you do?

Speaker 11 (21:05):
Let's see this weekend, I cleaned my house. Uh, and
I actually recorded a pilot slash first episode of my podcast.

Speaker 8 (21:14):
Oh that was fun.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Wait, I've been a guest on your podcast.

Speaker 8 (21:18):
Yeah, you have your guest.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
But that's the pilot.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
No, dude, you made the pilot that will never be aired.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
That's what I'm hearing about.

Speaker 8 (21:25):
That's what I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
That's never going to be hurt and you gave your
time up for it.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Hey, that's a dirty dog.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
He was a caller. That's One of our favorite regular
guests on the show is Brandon Marcelo from twenty four
to seven Sports. Brandon is as dialed in as anyone
when it comes to reporting and having insight and follow
him at b Marcelo. He has a new podcast out
and he talks about that at the end. So let's
talk college football with Brandon Marcelo. Brandon looks like he's
going somewhere special today, maybe a job interview. He's got

(21:57):
a caller under a sweater. What what's the occasion.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Football Coaches Association Annual convention meetings. There's like nine thousand
coaches here and yeah, there's a lot of glad it's
in Charlotte. It's it's the one. It's I think it's
that's what set the Guinness World Records for loudest DAPs
because it's just a large convention hall and there's thousands
of coaches just every and everybody DAPs. That's that's all

(22:23):
they do that No one shakes hands everybody's dapping, so
it's very loud in there, and it's just constant clapping.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Who's like the big dog, who's the star that everyone's
like just looking to get a picture with or say
hello to great question.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
I would probably say, you know, the problem is that
the playoff is still going on. So like the coaches
that are winning games, I wouldn't maybe say Kenny Dillingham
at Arizona State because he's the young buck and he
just went to the playoff and he's here. A lot

(22:58):
of coaches and head coaches they don't swing into like
the last day, but Kenny dillinghams someone who's very popular
at things like this.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Well, let's take a look at these past couple of games.
It almost feels like, you know the song now I
can't even sing in one. I don't know. It's where
it's like, no, it's time to say goodbye. Not m
I C kymo usc, but like Sinatra song where it's
like I did it my way, Yeah it's over. It's
like I said good bye, like the season is almost over.

(23:27):
We got one game left, so we're getting to that
point here. We got Notre Dame. Let's go there first.
Do you think the reason they're not hated as much
right now two reasons. One because they're playing Ohio State
and Ohio States hated and two because Marcus Freeman's like
a really likable guy.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
That and I also think because Notre Dame was humbled
earlier in the year by losing the Northern Illinois, and
I think all of us wrote them off and for
so often. You know, Notre Dame has always been the
quote unquote overrated team, which is actually, if you look
through it, the numbers is not actually statistically correct because
they've when they start in the top ten in the preseason,

(24:00):
they usually finish there or near there, so they're not
really overrated. But I think what happened is everybody goes
into preseason hating Notre Dame because of that, they think
they're overrated, and then in week two they lose the
Norman Illinois and we're all like, hahha, told, yeah, Notre
Dame sucks. And then what do they do behind the
background and behind the scenes, They just keep winning. They

(24:21):
bounce back from that, they handle it the right way.
They're underdogs here in the playoff in a lot of games,
and they just keep winning. Plus, as you said, Marcus
Freeman is a nice guy. He's just a very agreeable guy,
someone that you just get along with. It comes along
pretty well on screen, and all of a sudden, Notre

(24:42):
Dames become this just like underdog story. There they finally
are living up to like the Rooty legacy, so to speak.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Do you think there is any chance now if Ohio
State loses that Ryan Day won't come back next year?

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Oh, great question, Anything's possible. I think the one thing
that really sticks with me with Ryan Day is just
the stories that have come out about his family just
really just not liking all the pressure of that job.
I mean, you've heard the stories and I've seen them too.
At the game against Michigan, them crying on the sideline,

(25:19):
just the pressures of mints there even when you win,
let alone when you lose. And you know there's NFL
opportunities out there. You haven't heard Ryan Day's name really
come up tied directly with anything. But I'm sure that
if he showed interest in an NFL job, one that's
open now or might be open later, they would give
him a sniff. I just don't know if he'd be

(25:40):
I don't know if he's trying to do that himself.
But I think that's the only way he leaves at
this point is that the right NFL job comes open
and he shows some interest.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Well, then can I offer an extremely hot take question
if he wins, could he leave because he's like this
is miserable?

Speaker 4 (25:58):
Maybe yeah? Uh, why not? Again? I think it again?
Just seems to be the pressure's immense, and it I
think it. I mean, listen, he could stand up there
and say this is what I sign up to do,
and you know how we you know, not to get
too psychological on you, but you know, when you watch
these press conferences, and I've been doing this for years, Bobby,

(26:20):
it's just you start to realize that coaches and people
in everyday life, they're projecting. You know, whenever someone says
is criticizing you, it's usually a reflection of that own person.
And so when I hear Ryan Day at practically every
press conference saying, hey, this is what I signed up for,
this is this is why they pay me the big bus,

(26:41):
it just it sounds like a guy that's trying to
deal with this even internally himself, like how do I
handle this? This is just this is just terrible All
the hate I get and the pressure I feel, and
my family's under the gun all the time. And as
I said, his family really affected by I've seen them
crying on the sideline. If you win a national championship,

(27:04):
it's not going to get any better than that. It's
impossible to get better than that. So why not just
let that be your legacy in Ohio State? Why not
just walk away? So yeah, Bobby, I could I could
see that happening. He wins a national championship. I could
see Ryan Day walking away and going to the NFL
at the right opportunity presents itself.

Speaker 8 (27:22):
What would he like?

Speaker 1 (27:23):
What is Ryan Ryan Day's Obviously he gave Chip Kelly
the play calling duties, but like, where did he cut
his teeth? Because again, mostly what I know of Ryan
Day is the Ohio State guy who is next up,
who could never, who can't beat Michigan, Like what it's
been so overwhelmed. His story has been that that I
think most people don't know his origin story.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Well, I think that his origin story in a lot
of ways is that he was just he was an
incredible assistant coach. Obviously someone that was kind of in
line under Urban Meyer previously to keep that going. He
understood the culture, He understood how to build that thing
out from what it was even under urban Meyer, because
as we know, urban Meyer went there. Urban Meyer really

(28:06):
changed college football twice. And by that I mean he
went to Florida and the SEC was strong, but he
made it much different. He made it this situation where
the SEC other schools had to start raising their level.
And I'm talking about like Alabama going on its run
of course in the twenty teens. That's because of urban Meyer.

(28:28):
He raised the level in the SEC. Then he goes
to the Big Ten and he raised the level there.
I'm not so sure Michigan would have won a national
title this past year if it was not for urban
Meyer pushing Ohio State over the hunt, because they were
always there in the national conversation under Jim Trussell, and
then urban Meyer took it to a different level. And

(28:48):
so Ohio State wanted to keep that going, so they
just they bumped up Ryan Day to keep that going
because he understood how that got that all going. And
he's been more or less about as good as Jim Trussell,
the guy before urban Meyer, and Jim Trussell's a Hall
of Fame type coach, don't get me wrong, but it's
not someone who was contending and winning a national title

(29:11):
every three years or so, despite he had that run
there in the early two thousands. And that's that's gonna
be the stigma ons any coach at Ohio State, Like
if you don't win a national title like in your
first like four years on the job, you're just dog
crap to a lot of people. And that's that's that's
an issue. And it's we've seen it at Florida. The

(29:33):
guys who replaced urban Meyer there, like they get pushed
out quickly. And then so you not just go to
Ohio State where they want to win national titles and
they have Hall of Fame type coaches, but you get
urban Meyer to inject like this absolute nitrous oxide into
the system of we gotta win, gotta win, win the
national championship now, and then Ryan Day steps in as

(29:53):
the disciple and he's not doing it. And also he's
losing an arrival Michigan every year. You can imagine the
pressure that goes with that. And I think Ryan Day
gets an unfair shape. I think he's an incredible coach.
It's just that he gets a bad rap for that,
and every little movement of his is ridiculed. And Bobby,

(30:14):
I mean you saw a few weeks ago at the
game against Michigan. I followed him around, you know, filming
him just to kind of get his reaction out to
the loss, and of course that fight breaks out and
Ryan Day kind of froze up and just stood there
and watched it, and you could read in the body
language and all that stuff. But the fans just absolutely
jumped him for that, like why why are you not

(30:35):
a man of action? Why aren't you getting involved? Why
are you pulling your players back telling him to go
back to the locker and get away from that. Instead
you're just standing there being completely impotent. And again, every
move of this guy is ridiculed. And so it goes
back to your previous question, like, even if he wins
a national title, like what else can you do there?

(30:55):
If a job came open and it's going to be
less pressure, why why didn't you take it?

Speaker 1 (31:00):
I remember he said what happened? He had to read
his lips when that fight was happening. He was like,
what happened? And yeah, I felt like again he was
even unfairly criticized he really was wondering what happened, but
I are you. Let's go to that game first, Ohio
State in Texas. How do you feel Texas played As
far as what the expectation was of Texas when they

(31:22):
played Ohio State.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
I said going into that game that would not be
surprised that Texas takes an early lead. Well, that obviously
didn't happen. Ohio State was about to jump on him,
and then Trevon Henderson had that personal foul penalty where
he shoved a guy in the face Ohio State's running back,
and it stopped Ohio State from going up big early
and allowed sexist hanging around. Texas had the horses defensively

(31:48):
to slow down Ohio State. I think a lot of
us knew that going into that game. I just didn't
expect that offensively, somehow they would have a chance late
to win the game or even tie it as we saw.
But then the Quinn years that I've grown a custom
of scenings popped up again. They're about to score late
in the game to tie it, and he gets stripsacked

(32:11):
and they scoop and score and return it for a
touchdown and go up twenty eight, fourteen and the game's over.
It's just Quinn Years always seems in these big moments
to always have a bad turnover some situation. And you know,
I'm not sold on Quinn Years as a future NFL guy.
I know he's high on draft boards and everything, but man,
when the pressure gets to him, and by pressure, I

(32:34):
mean like defensive lineman, he just doesn't know how to
act back there. And his past success rate is just
incredibly bad and you can't have that. I mean, we're
seeing in the NFL playoffs now rookies that have done
very well, or first or second year guys, Jayden Daniels,
Michael Pennix with the Washington Commanders. You know, Kennis is

(32:56):
a guy that I saw last season at Washington and
Washington and beat Texas in the College Football Playoff and
it was because of Pinnicks has just been calm and
collected and Texas had an incredible pass rush, but Penis
was the guy that got them over the hump. And
that translates, it translates to the NFL. He's now in

(33:16):
the NFL winning. I think the Commanders first. I mean,
it's just incredible, like all this stuff that you see
with Michael Pennocks and then obviously Jayden Daniels as well.
You know, Jayden is a special player, Heisman Trophy winner.
But you see these guys that were uber successful in

(33:37):
college football, and it's translating to the NFL almost right
away when they're given their chance. When years when he
gets the NFL, I don't think you're going to see that.
I think you're going to see a guy that's gonna
maybe bounce around from team to team trying to find
a spot as a backup.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I think c J. Stroud's another example of that, although
it's not a rooie this year. Last year, he had
a great rookie year coming out. So do you see
any parallel? And I remember back in the day Major
Apple White started a quarterback in Texas and it was like,
we gotta get Chris sims In. We got to get
Chris sims In, big controversy, you got yours, you got
Arch Manning. Well, all of a sudden, when Chris simms in,
they're like, dang, we kind of miss out of White,

(34:14):
Like wait, you know, maybe we jumped the gun. We
kind of miss Major Rap White a little bit. Any
parallel in your mind there at all.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
Good question. I don't think so, because I do think
arch Manning is legit. Like I mean, there'll be people
like rumbling like in this first second start potentially next
season if he throws an interception like, oh, Quin yours
wouldn't have done that. But I think more often than not,
he's going to he's going to be able to make
big plays because he's much different from Gwin Years from

(34:41):
the standpoint that he can run the ball. We've seen
that this year. They brought him into special packages just
to run the ball and pick up first downs on
third down or even fourth down even and he's been
very successful in doing that, you know. And I don't
think that having the Manning name bothers him or is
going to get into his own brain. And I think

(35:01):
he's going to live up to the hype. And to
be quite honest with you, man, I mean, I know,
like people thought Quinn Years was great and then they
would ridicule from time to time. But man, I'll tell
you what I think the Texas fans were very patient
with Quinn Years. I thought this season there were several
times where they could have really called for arch Manning

(35:21):
to go in there. But maybe what calmed that down?
You know what, it's incredible. I actually still got to
think of it because remember Quinn Eers got injured and
arch Manning had to go in and start, you know,
a game or two. And you would think after seeing that,
they would be like, no, just keep quin Years on
the bench, let's keep going arch Manning. But I think
a lot of people just saw we're winning. We're still winning.
This is Quinn Years last year. Let's just ride this

(35:44):
out let arch Manning continue to develop in the backup
role and coming on the field every now and again,
give us a taste of it. But I think it's
probably the best thing for all parties at this point
because arch Manning didn't get that pressure to be a
starter right away. He's had an opportunity to develop over
these last couple of years, and I think he's ready
to go. Man. I think next season he's going to

(36:04):
be a superstar for Texas.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
So if it were three years ago or three years
from now, I would think quin yours best move would
be going to the draft, maybe getting a second or
third round draft. But because the money is so heavy
right now in the portal and it's not going to
be like this for long. This is I would compare
this to the time when the NFL decided, hey, rookies
can't make a hundred million dollars, And I think Sam

(36:27):
Bradford is one of the last rookies to be able
to get that top pick and make money forever. Now
they got a you know, four plus one, you get
rookie scale. Contracts are only so much. But right now,
look at you know, look at Miami, and you know
they just took the Georgia quarterback and they're paying him
roughly four million. If I were yours, I would probably

(36:49):
go and make more money one more year somewhere else
that three four five million bucks, even if I could
be a second or third round pick in the draft.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
And those rumors have been out there about him maybe
try and get into the transfer portal. We haven't actually
heard anything from his camp on along those lines, but
there's been discussions in the background among other schools about
potentially trying to lure him. And I think there's definitely
a point to be made there. Any quarterback or for
that matter, even receiver or something like that, a guy
that you see that's not going to be a Day
one pick, or maybe he's a borderline Day two to

(37:19):
Day three pick in the NFL draft, Like, why wouldn't
you come back for another year in college football? Because, Bob,
you hit right on the head. Like the money. Not
to say it's going to draw up, but the money
distribution model is going to change after this upcoming season.
You know, revenue sharing is starting in college sports in July,
but we've got kind of stop gap between January and

(37:39):
July where schools are able to just freely spend really
whatever they want in il and to keep players on campus.
They're saying, hey, they're going to get revenue distribution here
in July, but until then, here's a nice little you know,
million dollars, two million dollars. And for the high profile
guys like you mentioned Parson Beck going to Miami. You know,
it's three four or five six dollars and listen, cars,

(38:04):
that's that's incredible money for Carson back one because he
probably wasn't to be selected highly in the NFL drafts
as far as K one, but also he just had surgery.
He just had surgery on his elbows, throwing elbow, and
he's going to be out at least until July or August,
not able to really throw a participate in practices. So
he's gonna get paid by Miami all the way up

(38:26):
until that point. The revenue sharing model goes into effects
starting in July, and so you get to go down
there and get paid handsomely to recover and get your
body right and then maybe try you know, not maybe,
but he's gonna try and play this season NFL. If
you're trying to get all that done and you can't throw,
for the combine any personal workouts, pro days and all that,

(38:47):
your draft stocks just going to continue to fall. So
this was a different type of situation to say twin years,
but this just made absolute perfect sense for Carson Beck.
But I could see a scenario with Quinn yours is
sitting there. You know that line's coming up obviously here,
but that he could maybe do it. But that chatter
was really heating up going into that playoff game about

(39:10):
a week ago, and it's kind of cool since then.
So it certainly looks like at this point he's probably
gonna go to the NFL draft.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Well, we saw Cam Moore two get a third fourth,
fifth round grade last year and go to Miami, and
now he's going to be the number one or two
overall pick. So I also think that there's an example
of it actually working while also making a lot of money,
more money than you're going to make in your first
couple of few years in the NFL. I'll have two
final questions. One James Franklin, you know he lost another one,

(39:37):
can't you know, I'll say what everybody says, can't win
the big game. What do you say and.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Win the big game? Yeah? I mean, he's what one
in eighteen against the ap tops five in his career,
including his days back at Vanderbilt, one fifteen or one
in sixteen, Derek been stay And you know, I know
a lot of people go, well, listen, he won two
playoff games, and yeah, that's great, but they weren't necessarily

(40:03):
they weren't top five type programs. I mean, SMU obviously
in the first round. But it's almost you know, people go, well,
that game wasn't his fault, It wasn't coaching mistakes that
led to their loss. Was it was Drew Aller throwing interceptions,
throwing the interception late. And my argument for that is
that players play the way their coaches coach and act

(40:25):
on the sidelines and throughout game week, and it just
seems like Penn State. It's not just this year, but
every year, and when it comes down to crunch time
late in games, they find a way to lose, and
losers find a way to lose. Winners don't find ways
to lose. And the common denominator and all that has
been James Franklin on the sideline. I think he's a

(40:47):
great coach. I don't think he's an elite coach. Elite
coaches win top five games won out of every three times.
He doesn't do that at all.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
Championship game. Does Notre Dame have a puncher's chance?

Speaker 4 (41:00):
I think so. The defense has been incredible all season.
I think a lot of people are underplaying the idea
that Notre Dame can match up well against Jeremiah Smith,
the receiver freshman phenom for Ohio State. I think that
they could potentially slow down that passing game. And look
just this past game Texas, their defense slowed down Jeremiah

(41:23):
Smith one catch for three yards. And Smith, as we saw,
exploded in that Rose Bowl against Oregon just a week
prior to that and was great in the first round
game against Tennessee, but Texas slowed him down. The key
for Notre Dame is just a play well on the outside.
Keep Jeremiah Smith and check and that defensive line where

(41:45):
they've lost their top defensive tackle, Riley Mills, led them
in sacks seven and a half sacks. They've been playing
without him the last two games and done very well.
They got to slow that run game down and kind
of make Ohio State a little bit one and by
being one dimensional, I think you make Ohio State one
dimensional by forcing them to run the ball, and that's

(42:07):
how you beat them, because that's how Michigan beat them.
I mean, Ohio State kept trying to run the ball
against them and they couldn't do it, and then they
refused to pass the ball for whatever reason. But you
can slow the passing game and force Ohio State to
run the ball. I really like Notre Dame's chances.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
I've been watching your podcast with your wife. How did
you get your wife to do a podcast with you?

Speaker 4 (42:25):
It's It was really kind of her idea. She's been
talking about it for years. She even came up with
a name for it that I that's not safe for work.
It's safe for her though, But we had it okay.
She wanted to call it basic bitch predicts I love it.
That's what she wanted to call it, but I was like,

(42:47):
we can't do that. So it's derogatory and all that.
It's bad enough that we're doing a podcast together where
it seems like I'm tucking down to her. But the
whole idea is that the idea of the show is
she likes college football, she just doesn't know the ins
and out of it, and at home we barely talk
about football or my job, and so this is the
opportunity for her to learn more about what I do

(43:07):
for a living. But also kind of she gets to
ask just bear bones questions about what's actually going on
in the game, and she gets to present ideas that
I think every common fan thinks about but is afraid
to say because they'll be labeled as dumb or not
in the know. And she's just freely out there asking
those questions. And you know, we've done a couple of

(43:29):
episodes so far. I think they're going to get a
lot better. We've talked about because we just kind of
just sat down and said, let's do this, and we've
talked it over and we've got some good ideas and
she's been holding back a little bit on the show,
and I can't wait till she fully unleashes herself.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
Yeah it's called basic asth but basic ass football, right,
I mean that's what it is, right. Yeah?

Speaker 4 (43:48):
Yeah, much better than the first recommendation for my wife.
But I did laugh when she brought it up.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
You guys, check out the podcast. I watch it on YouTube.
Brandon Marcelo, thank you so much for being with us
over the last ten twelve weeks. Big fan of your work.
You need to vacation, so after this game, I hope
you get one. I hope they celebrate you at the
coaches conference. And good to see you again, my friend, and
hopefully i'll see you soon in person. Up a favvil.

Speaker 4 (44:14):
Appreciate you, Bobby. Yeah, the coach is going to carry
me out, yes, off of the convention floor.

Speaker 1 (44:19):

Speaker 1 (45:32):
I announce this week I signed a deal with the NFL.
It's called lots to say with Bobby Bones and Matt Castle.
This is us. It's five minutes of us talking with
Jared Allen.

Speaker 7 (45:40):
When you play the game, though, the most exciting part
for me was always to watch your youthful enthusiasm, like
you had fun when you played the game, and that
that permeated throughout the entire team, right, and when you
did your sack and you did the bull or whatever
the heck do you do, right, I mean, that's the
type of stuff that you know, not everybody has that there.

(46:01):
They have this workman like mentality and they're told to
act a certain way or do it a certain and
a certain method of Look, this is how you're supposed
to act. But just how you went out each and
every day and we had fun, Like that's what made
you a great teammate, but that's also what made you
such a lovable player in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (46:19):
Man.

Speaker 10 (46:20):
Yeah, I last two short not to have fun. Uh,
you know, I got to remind myself of that retirement sometimes.

Speaker 1 (46:26):
Now you're just do your homework.

Speaker 10 (46:30):
Oh my gosh, real life issues. No that, But I
mean I literally was fortunate. I told my dad when
I was eight years old, I was gonna play professional football.
Most parents are like, all right, Johnny, like go read
the books. My dad would drop me off. My dad
trained rain and cutting horses, so I managed ranches and
my dad, the rancher lived at the time, was about
a mile or so from the gate up to our
double wide trailer, because we were high class back then,

(46:52):
and so and I was what was I ten some
of your and I would run. He would make me
run every night up to the hill. And his whole
philosophy is like, you want to be in the pros,
you better eat, sleep, drinket because somebody out there is
doing more than you are, so you better better make
sure you're doing the most you could ever do. So
most parents are like, yeah, okay, have fun, you know,

(47:13):
to go to school. My dad was like, you want
to be in the borrows, let's get it, and he
uh it was. It was hard nosed on it. And
but that was that was all I ever wanted to do.
And so when I when I got to play professional
football as a living and make a living doing it, man,
that's there's no great. Even on days that sucked, even
training camp days when you want to you just bitching
and complaining because it's training camp. You look back and

(47:33):
you're like, you know, I'm getting paid money to play
a game.

Speaker 4 (47:36):
This is dope.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
How many celebrations did you have that didn't work out?
Because that we all know you for the tie, But
did you ever do like the giddy did you ever have? Like?

Speaker 10 (47:46):
Well, that was the thing, my very first one. First
when I got fined five thousand dollars. So my my
tied end, my buddy, my roommate in college are tied in.
Never scored a touchdown, right, So I told him. I
was like, and he had, he had this brilliant or
a touchdown and celebration that he's gonna have, right, So
we were gonna we were gonna high fight, you know,
low five and then bring it back around, slap the

(48:07):
thigh like bodybuilders and flex it out right. That was
that was I was like, you never got a chance
doing to college. My very first sack, I'm doing that
preseason don't count, but who cares preseasons? First preseason game,
my sack like manny, bam, I hit that leg, shake
it out, bam, flex it five thousand dollars for such
suggestive behavior.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (48:27):
That the outside of your time.

Speaker 1 (48:29):
Yeah, right here are thinking, but he's probably trying to.

Speaker 10 (48:35):
So they said, they said, I gotta find well, I
didn't get a fine because I was a fourth round pick.
So there's other people with my number on the team.

Speaker 4 (48:41):
Right.

Speaker 10 (48:41):
There was an undrafted free agent lineman with the number
sixty nine. They sent him a fine for five thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (48:50):
He's like, what is what?

Speaker 10 (48:51):
He called the league and got it sent to me.
And so in the preseason, if you have fined, you
don't pay it until you get make makes a team.
I'm like, bro, you know you're not making the team.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
You know that you're honest, truth.

Speaker 10 (49:04):
That on the me And it still cost me five
grand for that. And then I had the vets my
first couple of years. They would just pick celebrations for
me to do, like, all right, this week, you're doing
the lawnmower. Dallas had like two sacks against Dallas one
year and jelly roll, the original jelly roll Lionel Dalton. Uh,
He's like, all right, this year this game, you're doing

(49:25):
spirit fingers and high kicks.

Speaker 3 (49:26):
I'm like, this sucks, bro.

Speaker 10 (49:31):
So finally finally caught on and and I gotta give it.
I was actually telling Dustin Coke with yesterday Neil Smith.
We went out to dinner.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
Neil Smith got.

Speaker 10 (49:40):
Put into the Ring of Honor and Hank Junior saying
the national anthem that game. Okay, So I meet up
with Neil and then we ended up going out. We
went to dinner with with Hank Junior afterwards, which is
a whole nother amazing I'm sure. And and so Neil's like, hey, man,
I really appreciate you doing my celebration. He's like, but
you know, you, I can come up with something of

(50:01):
your own. So I grew up on a ranch. I
grew up calf roping, and so that's how we came about.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
It's talking.

Speaker 10 (50:06):
Somebody's like, yeah, lets time up. So when you calf rope,
you know, you flank your calf, you tie through legs, three,
your hands up.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
That's when they stopped the clock.

Speaker 10 (50:11):
So we just started doing that on quarterbacks and it's stuck.

Speaker 1 (50:14):
And then yeah, here's the question for you guys. I
have to go on Good Morning Football tomorrow awesome on
a NFL network, Very cool, incredible, great love it. What
the crap am I gonna talk about?

Speaker 3 (50:25):
What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (50:26):
Because here's the thing they're interviewing me, and you know,
because that show they have real ballplayers. What the are
they gonna be?

Speaker 7 (50:35):
Like?

Speaker 1 (50:36):
What are we even get to talk after a pre
interview today, which means they have somebody call me and
go okay, so here's what we're gonna do.

Speaker 4 (50:42):
What?

Speaker 1 (50:43):
Like, I have no credibility.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
What are you talking about? Mainly your your podcasts?

Speaker 1 (50:48):
Yes, so they want me to come on to promote
lots to say that the show I do with Matt Castle,
which is an NFL product, Right, it's their show and
they want me to come on to promote it. What
what do they want to talk to? Like?

Speaker 3 (51:01):
What?

Speaker 8 (51:02):
Again?

Speaker 1 (51:02):
I have no credibility in that show. It's like, I'm
just saying funny stuff for having crazy opinions. I mean
I was getting dragged a little bit for telling Kurt
Warner he was hot and take his helmet.

Speaker 5 (51:13):
Off, and I saw some comments.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Yeah, but then they ended up playing that on other
NFL shows because I thought it was the funniest thing.
Oh no, for sure, I would do it again. I'm
just saying I'm not the typical person that you'd put
on like a hardcore football show. On a hardcore football network.
So I think what makes me different is I have
a question. It's like, hey man, you're really good looking
to the second for a helmet, Like that's the kind
of stuff I think about. So maybe I pitch stories

(51:39):
to them today for me to talk about? What do
I pitch.

Speaker 5 (51:41):
Them top five best looking quarterbacks?

Speaker 3 (51:44):
Maybe I don't know, you go all that round that's
going to be your brand?

Speaker 4 (51:48):
Then?

Speaker 3 (51:49):
Oh my to do that.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
I don't think they're gonna they're gonna interview me, right,
So it's not like I'm a host coming up with
segments like when I hosted Rich Eysen. That's why I did.
I came up with segments and that's much easier for
me because I can have I come up with a
thousand segments that are sports related. I'm pretty knowledgeable, pretty funny.
But like those guys, they're gonna be like, what the
crap do we talk to him about? Because it's not

(52:10):
like I know more than them about anything in football.
So on a football show, what are they? What? What's
the deal?

Speaker 3 (52:19):
What if you take the angle of like you're just
the fan, like because you do geek out over these
that's every podcast.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
Every podcast is like we've got the fan and the player.
That's like lame and that is that's every thing.

Speaker 5 (52:32):
Because that show, though, is more of like a pop
culture show because it's a morning show, like a typical
any like news morning show, but it's a football related
morning show, so you can almost take like a pop
culture sense of it, whether it's country music or whatever.

Speaker 1 (52:42):
In I don't want to go on talking about country music.

Speaker 5 (52:46):
You've worked in Top forty before. I don't talk about
music in general.

Speaker 6 (52:49):
Well, Titan's got number the number one pick, so they
might ask you about that, so.

Speaker 1 (52:53):
Maybe okay, So I can tell them to ask me
about that, okay, because I know enough about it, and
I'd be like, I also think they change the color
of their uniforms because they look slow. You got there,
we go, Their colors look slow. There are slow colors
and we have them, and we're never going to get
to the next level unless we change our colors. Yes,
that'd be the kind of like there are slow colors.

Speaker 5 (53:11):
And under stadium coming. They got to get New York's
uniforms with it.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
But I don't so maybe something about that number one
pick question of the Titans do.

Speaker 3 (53:20):
But again, well, you know what you're really funny at
whenever you talk about playing Madden, because you you're really
good at Madden, and then you try to pitch Madden
stuff too, like yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
Maybe I should just maybe that's what I should do.
That's a good point because I like talking about Madden
or college football. Yes, and I've learned a lot though.
I'm telling you, like, you know different shells defensively, and
it's shells into formations and you know, a.

Speaker 3 (53:45):
Good job, dude. Yeah, yeah, you're putting in the work
and I'm putting in the work.

Speaker 1 (53:49):
I've put in a lot of film set on YouTube,
watching like other twelve year olds tell me how to
be better on defense.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
Kevin, we were working out and he was like watching
his phone. I'm like, what are you doing watching a game?
Because it sounds like a game is Yeah, I'm watching
a game, Like who's playing right now? It was like
three o'clock on a Thursday. It's like, oh no, it's
a Madden game. One of our buddy's playing mad game.

Speaker 5 (54:07):
Playing Twitch or something.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
Yeah, it was on Twitch and it was NCAA football.
And we have a gamble league.

Speaker 5 (54:12):
We have a Gamble league.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Yeah, so we gamble on the league and let's get
it was getting close to the Collectionball playoff and I
was making sure you know, I was watching them.

Speaker 3 (54:21):
I share things coach.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
Sure, that's scouting ahead of it a little bit.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
So maybe that's it, But I don't know.

Speaker 1 (54:26):
I think that's funny, like a humorous way to get
into it, because it's not like they're going to ask
me or care about what I really think when it
comes to x's and o's with the NFL, that's not
even what I do right mm hmm uh so, but
I'm doing that tomorrow. It's live tomorrow. I want to
do it from here. What time I think I'm doing
it here, like ten thirty or something?

Speaker 3 (54:47):
Okay, are they in the East coast?

Speaker 1 (54:48):
West West? Yeah, West coast. We can go through the
games real quick, Chargers and Texans. I've said this forever,
so I'm not saying this right now for the first time.
I've said this for every time we've spoke about this
for three years. Justin Herbert mah.

Speaker 3 (55:07):
Yeah, I mean you just waited. You've waited a long
time because you're like, I feel like he's going to
turn around, it's gonna get better, but it never really
got better.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
No, that's not what I say. I feel like at
some point it has to based on what everybody is saying.
I've never seen it. They have they anointed him, right,
and I've been saying forever I don't see it. But again,
I just watched Madden.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
All right, you're a Madden player.

Speaker 1 (55:30):
Yeah, a Madden player. So oh, I do four touches.
It's two four interceptions.

Speaker 6 (55:35):
The lights are just too bright for him in the
biggest moments, and it's he listen.

Speaker 1 (55:38):
He doesn't have a lot of weapons.

Speaker 3 (55:39):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (55:39):
I think mcconkey's about it, and he's like.

Speaker 3 (55:42):
He's twelve, twelve and a half. He looks like one
of my kids out there.

Speaker 5 (55:47):
But he's so good, unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (55:50):
Oh yeah, like the ad Rs. Yeah, Texans ran. Yeah,
especially at the end second half.

Speaker 3 (55:58):
I was making chili and I could just hear the TV.
Like another interception. I blocked field goal for two points,
like gosh.

Speaker 5 (56:06):
Guy Cameron Dicker got lit.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
Yeah he did. Stanley played awesome cornerback for the Texans. Yeah.
Ravens and Steelers. I'll confess this about this game. I
watched it and I think it was twenty nothing and
I turned it off. I think that was the score.
It was over, and then I turned it back on.
It was twenty at fourteen they had the ball. I
was like, oh god, and then I was like.

Speaker 3 (56:24):
Yeah, that's over.

Speaker 5 (56:25):
Yeah, yeah, say I did the same thing.

Speaker 1 (56:27):
Yeah, I didn't even really jump back in. I was watching.
We're watching a movie at that point, watching a rival.
He up Rival, Ammy Adams.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
I don't like, Amen, I know you have a week.

Speaker 6 (56:37):
Don't know what it is with blot paintings or something,
and it's Alien's communicated, right, Okay.

Speaker 8 (56:44):
Yeah I heard like, yeah, yeah, I liked it.

Speaker 1 (56:45):
I loved it.

Speaker 8 (56:46):
Yeah, I love those type of movies.

Speaker 1 (56:48):
I thought it was awesome. Freaking sign Yeah no I
signed signs movie.

Speaker 8 (56:54):
No, it is a good one too, though.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
I yeah I saw sign Night. Yeah yeah, yeah, I
think it's all science. It's good though.

Speaker 8 (57:03):
Yeah. Yeah, like you're just not watching it.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
My wife will look for movies and she goes, hey,
we should watch the movie Arrival, and I'm like, I
don't know, and she goes, well, it's got aliens in it.
I'm like to watch it. She does it, but she
tries to find one that she can stand because I
hate movies in general. It's too long for just sit there,
and so we watched it. She loved it too.

Speaker 5 (57:26):
Yeah, And Jeremy Renner, huh, why did you hate Amy?

Speaker 8 (57:29):
Why do you hate Amy?

Speaker 3 (57:30):
I have no idea, just to see her on screen,
and I'm like, I don't like that. I don't like
makes you feel She doesn't make me feel good.

Speaker 4 (57:35):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
It's like wholesome.

Speaker 5 (57:37):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 3 (57:38):
Is there a role that she plays where she's really
mean or something? Mm hmm, maybe I watched a movie
where she was really mean.

Speaker 1 (57:46):
Let's just look up Amy Adams movie, shall we.

Speaker 8 (57:47):
Yeah, Well, you think she's got a punchable face or something.

Speaker 3 (57:50):
I don't know what it is. It's like Joaquin Phoenix too.
It's like something about him, like he makes me nervous.

Speaker 1 (57:55):
Watch Amy Adams movies. She has a movie called Disenchanted.
It's like a I don't know, Disney's type movie. Dear
Evan Hanson, The Woman in the Window, The.

Speaker 3 (58:07):
Woman in the Window. She's got to be mean in
that one.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
Have you seen it?

Speaker 3 (58:09):
I don't know, maybe, but you would know if you've
seen it.

Speaker 1 (58:12):
You can't just pick a title of a movie and
be like eyo, she's meaning that one.

Speaker 3 (58:14):
It's not true. The other day somebody was telling me
a movie. I'm like, oh, that's cool, what's it about?
And they started telling me like I've seen that movie.
I just forgot the title.

Speaker 1 (58:21):
I'm not seeing the Woman in the window. Maybe I
don't know Justice League. He'll Billy Elogy Vice by Dick Cheney,
Oh where Yeah?

Speaker 3 (58:29):
Yeah, yeah, Dick Cheney.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
Was Arrival, Batman versed Superman, Big Eyes, American Hustle, her
lullaby American hustle.

Speaker 5 (58:36):
When't she like, uh, she's like a can and like
the she was the wife of someone, right, Yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (58:44):
Didn't say that, read it.

Speaker 8 (58:46):
I didn't say that.

Speaker 1 (58:47):
Man of Still Trouble with the Curve, Clintics Wood, the
Baseball Movie, The Fighter, The Fighter, The Muppets, The Muppets. Dude,
I think you have this thing where you probably likely
in love with her and you can't have her. See
she's been in a lot of movies. Go Lee, catch
me if you can.

Speaker 4 (59:06):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (59:06):
Uh, that's Tom Hanks, right, DiCaprio, that was awesome. Yeah,
true story ish based on a true story.

Speaker 1 (59:14):
Yeah, Talladagan Heights, ballot of Ricky Bobby Bobby, Dude, I
know what the movie.

Speaker 3 (59:20):
I don't know. You can name all the movies. I
don't know what it is. But when I see her,
I'm just like, I don't like her. Or if somebody's like, hey,
let's watch this movie it's Amy Adams, I'm like, I
don't want to watch it.

Speaker 1 (59:31):
There's something.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
Do you have an actor like that?

Speaker 5 (59:33):
Yeah? I have shoot walk into your name. Pretty is
a pretty woman. Yeah, I have that about Julie Roberts.
I don't know what it is either.

Speaker 3 (59:40):
Boom see you can't explain it.

Speaker 5 (59:42):
Yeah, I'm like, I see her on there, I'm like, no,
I'm good. I don't need to watch that.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
So she done a movie you watch it was really bad,
and then you think I don't want to sit through another.

Speaker 5 (59:49):
That's what I've always I tried to pinpoint it to that.
I'm like, what movie did she that I watched? Maybe
when I was young, but I can't.

Speaker 1 (59:55):
I don't know, movie Mike, what's wrong with these guys?

Speaker 3 (59:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (59:58):
Amy Adams is like always a nice person, super movies, yeah,
wholesome and Julian Roberts America Sweetheart.

Speaker 5 (01:00:05):
Yeah, I'm not Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
Guy.

Speaker 5 (01:00:07):
I wish I knew maybe he has a deeper meaning
you know read, do you have.

Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
An actor like that?

Speaker 5 (01:00:11):
I kind of feel that way about Amy Schumer.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
Now you cannot like her comedy though, or feel like
her person because these but with Roberts and they're just
acting Amy Adams, you don't really know about their personal
lives that much. With Amy Schumer, you can just hate
her comedy. Yeah, I don't know, because she's only not
known as an actress. She's done some acting, but I
think mostly you just hate her comedy.

Speaker 8 (01:00:31):
I guess so.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
You guys hate anybody's comedy where you're like, they're just
not funny and everybody loves them.

Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
I don't hate his comedy. I just don't understand why
everyone loves his comedy. And that's Nate Bergott.

Speaker 4 (01:00:45):
Same.

Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
Oh, he's super funny to make, and he's super clean.

Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
He's very clean. Yeah, and so.

Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
You don't get you don't get why he's so popular
right now?

Speaker 3 (01:00:53):
Correct, Like I watch a special and I watch for
thirty minutes and maybe do a that's the most I
would last.

Speaker 5 (01:00:59):
Yeah, I try his with the one on Netflix, I
would watch twenty minutes. I'm like, am, I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Okay, why do you think that is, it's just not
for you.

Speaker 5 (01:01:06):
It's just not for me. And I'm not hating on
his comedy because I know what kind of comedy I
think I like, and that's just not it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
You like lots of f words, and yeah, you do,
you like.

Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
The I don't. I like the cussing. I think it's
more relatable for some reason.

Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
I like the cussing too. Yeah, I don't mind that.
I don't know. I think he's funny. I think he's
find to be funny clean.

Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
But like my wife loves him and she'll like, we'll
sit together watch the special and she's like crying tears
and I'm looking at her like, are you seriously? Well,
this is why you don't think I'm funny?

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
Sometimes you know who for me, isn't that funny? And
I think it's just a culture thing. Or any of
the Mexican comedians.

Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
What the ass b? What's you talking about?

Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
Men?

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
And not all of them, but when they do, and
it could be it could be Gabriel, like Lysias or Carlosia.
They have really funny things, but when they go into
the Mexican culture stuff, sometimes I just miss it.

Speaker 5 (01:01:55):
Oh, you can't relate to it?

Speaker 3 (01:01:56):
Or yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
I mean, I don't even know what they're saying. Sometimes
when they're making like jokes and in Spanish words, I'm
just like, I don't know what's happening.

Speaker 3 (01:02:03):
George loves does that all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
So yeah, and I've mostly George Lovez on TV. But
it could be I guess it doesn't have to be
the Mexican Ish comics. It could be any culture I
don't understand. I watched a guy who was Asian and
he was doing a lot of Asian jokes and it
just didn't get that. I didn't get them. So I
was like, man, I bet people are loving this. I

(01:02:26):
just don't get us on my culture.

Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
I see what you're saying. Because the Mexican comedians there's
a lot of like, oh my gosh, we do do that.
That's funny. Yeah, and that's what we think is funny
about it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
And I would bet that there are Mexicans, Hispanics, Latinos
that would watch like get or Done and be like
what the heck hell? Like you know that, like real
redneck type stuff, because some of them are very culture specific.
And that's when I get lost. I completely respect because
of people. All of people think it's funny. There's something
to it that I'm not getting. But yeah, a lot
of those guys because they're so big, like the Gabriel Iglesias,

(01:02:59):
he's huge, he's huge. Some of my stuff is so funny,
but when it goes really Mexican, I have trouble because
I don't know. I don't I don't get the joke.

Speaker 3 (01:03:06):
That makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Yeah, I don't get the joke.

Speaker 3 (01:03:08):
But nay Bergaci like he's a dad like me, you know,
like I think what he's saying is funny, Like the
topics he's talking about is funny. I just don't understand
how he's selling out like a huge arena. It feels
like when he does stand up, it feels like I'm
at a little dinner party and he's at the table telling,
telling the story, and I'm like, that guy's funny.

Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
He is your Gabriel Glaciers.

Speaker 9 (01:03:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
Yeah, you don't get the white guys you were, man,
that's what it is, Okay, So I'm gonna go with them. Yeah,
like the culture comedians that I don't get. Sometimes Matt
Riif's not that funny to me.

Speaker 5 (01:03:43):
Yeah, he's a little extra sometimes, but.

Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
Sometimes yeah, sometimes he's not funny to me. But again,
my opinion doesn't matter because I'm only one person who's
really funny to you.

Speaker 5 (01:03:55):
I've never seen Well, no, I was gonna say a
full stand up, I don't know, but I mean Levonne
just in clips version.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Is podcast Yvonne is super funny. His stand up stuf's
pretty good, Okay, pretty good, but him long form is
way better. Really, yeah, I think, Mike, what do you
think about that?

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Yeah, I would agree small clips.

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Yeah, I don't really think he's known for his specials.
Like I watched one on Netflix. Yeah it's pretty good,
but again him, I will watch the olevonn crap when
someone's like someone asked him if he was racist, and
he goes, I don't say, I think, I guess. Sometimes
I get so mad I'll write it down like that
crab is so funny because he's just like thinking.

Speaker 5 (01:04:32):
I think he's best in like the whole interview part too,
because he just coming up with stuff as as it's flowing,
and you can see it in his head, working work
and working. Then he comes out with something so to
me like a stand up for him where it's more
thought out. I don't know if it'd be as good.

Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
He was so funny. I told you I had dinner
with him. Yeah, Like he came home and sat with
us as it was me and my wife and Brett
Eldridge and we're just at dinner and he was sitting
one over. I don't want to bother anybody, but he
didn't have food on his table, and I wasn't like
and so I was like, hey, THEO and Bibyon was
a big fan. Think he's super funny. And he just
has a notebook out and he's like, right now his notebook.

(01:05:05):
Hey man? He goes, oh, I said, watch, I watched
a lot of your stuff online. He goes, I'm big
fan of your videos too. At this point, I'm like
really but I don't know. And I was like, well, thanks, man,
don't want to bother you. Walk back to the table, goes,
do you mind if I come over and hang out
with you guys? I'd be like oh, And I was like.

Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
All right, come on.

Speaker 1 (01:05:22):
So he walks right over and sits down with me,
Kaitlin and Brett for like fifteen minutes till his food
shows up.

Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
Because he'd ordered. It's cool.

Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
I remember the story he told me. It was so
freaking funny. It was something about his buddies. One of
his buddies took him like turkey hunting and they had
This is not a joke. It's a story, and I'm
gonna tell it poorly, but I remember being so funny.
This is what he thought. His buddy like took him
turkey hunting, because he's from Louisiana and you know, grew

(01:05:47):
up around all that. By the way, his dad had
him when he was like seventy. Yeah, his dad was
born like nineteen ten or something.

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
What the yeah. Oh he's from another country.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Too, from Louisiana.

Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
Yes, no, no, no, but he sometimes he always talks about
how he's like Chilean or something. He's like for real, Brod,
I thought.

Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
I thought you met.

Speaker 5 (01:06:07):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
So he sits down, he's talking about his buddy taking
him turkey on and he goes, when we go out
all day, we don't see any turkeys, have a little lunch,
go back, go back out again, three more hours, I'll
see any turkeys.

Speaker 4 (01:06:19):
He go.

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
It was because we're talking about Arkansas and that's where
he went turkey on. So this is how I know
this wasn't like a bit. He goes, oh, well, we
went over to Camden. We were turkey on. He goes,
spend first four hours a day in seeing the turkeys.
We went and he went back out and see the turkeys. Said,
finished up, got back in the truck, put all our
stuff away. We're driving out and we see some turkeys.
My buddy's like, pull truck over, let's shot the turkeys.
He's like, no, the game's over. Like he's like the

(01:06:42):
horns sounded. You don't fish, you don't finish.

Speaker 8 (01:06:43):
A basketball game.

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
And be like, I feel like I can take him now, coach,
let's go get him. He goes, no time expired. We
were and I remember laughing so hard, and I was like,
this dude's like funny, Like I don't know if hanging
out with him for that brief period of time, I
don't think it's an act or a gimmick, Like I
don't think it's a put on.

Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
It seems genuine.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
Yeah yeah, And and it was just like odd but
very funny. And then he was like about my food's over.
There'm gonna go eat now, and I'm gonna like I
was like, all right, buddy, Letter, that's hilarious.

Speaker 5 (01:07:13):
I met him at a concert one time, really yeah,
I just took a quick picture with him.

Speaker 3 (01:07:16):
That was it.

Speaker 5 (01:07:16):
But it was super cool before he was famous. No,
this is three years ago. Oh film at a morganwall
in concert.

Speaker 1 (01:07:24):
Let's see Broncos bills, bills. He gives a game for
a second.

Speaker 3 (01:07:33):
Yeah, it was dominated this game for like the first
two minutes.

Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
We have four minutes Eagles packers, you know what. Eagles
don't even look that good.

Speaker 3 (01:07:41):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:07:41):
A J.

Speaker 6 (01:07:41):
Brown is reading a book. Yeah really that book is
now like an Amazon bestseller. The one that he pulled out.

Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
It was called like he was reading a book on
the sideline.

Speaker 12 (01:07:49):
It was called like giving it your best motivational thing
the cameras, there's no way he catch It was like
his way of passive aggressively you know, calls the scene
that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
And they commanded to few twenty and they kicked, there's
a game tonight. Rams, Like we talked about the Brandon
you got the national championship, but both cares. I think
we're good. I hope Notre Dame wins, but we too
are probably not going.

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
That was a good game, Penn State, Notre Dame.

Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
It was good.

Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
It was It feels like a lifetime ago.

Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
All the games since then it was lifetime. Shout out
to my wife because there was a lot of football
the last thir four days.

Speaker 3 (01:08:29):
And oh really see, I felt like this was a
treat for my wife because there was more. I guess
there were more important games that we had to watch,
but there were less games and a little break maybe,
like right.

Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
I felt like they were all the games are so
important you need to watch all of them? Yeah, because
they were also important. So it was like, gotta watch
the CFP game, gotta watch this one the next night,
and we're all we're snowed in too, so there's nothing
else to do except hang out and so but.

Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
There was a break I think on Friday.

Speaker 5 (01:08:58):
No, there was no Friday night.

Speaker 1 (01:08:59):
There were also Arkansas pla basketball watch that game.

Speaker 5 (01:09:03):
I pulled a ray and I watched the NFL game
on my laptop while because my fiance's mom is in
town while they watch TV. It's great, no sound.

Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
So shout out to my wife for that. That's it.
I think that's it. We'll be back later on this week.
Shout out to all the comedians we loved. And for
the record, I like Mexicans. It's just when I don't
understand the comedy and not all Mexican comedy, just parts
when it's in Spanish or it has to do with

(01:09:34):
like Mexican culture. I don't get, so you know what,
say what you will. I got to thank you very much.
Don't clip that?

Speaker 3 (01:09:41):
