pursued the clip. It looked like it hit the line
in the clip.

talk about it since it happened, and it feels like
the consensus is that he was injured. Maybe he didn't
tear his acl before, but he was injured, maybe sprained it.
There's a video of him going into a doctor's office limping.

coach John Kavanaugh, McGregor suffered a brutal loss to Max
Holloway when his right knee appeared to buckle after he
threw a kick in the opening seconds. My question too,
is if your leg is hurt, why do you lead
with using that body part immediately?

he starts the fight with a kick where all the
way it was going to be on that right leg.

the allegations and appeal, but the civil judgment was ultimately upheld.
A Miami sexual assault lawsuit, a woman alleged mcgregors actually

NBA Finals in Miami. Place investigator, but did not file
criminal charges. A civil lawsuit is still ongoing. McGregor has
denied the allegations. In twenty eighteen, he attacked the bus.

parents turn his famous surname into a first name. Law
bands using last names as first names just in general.
So this couple who loved soccer wanted to name their
kid Messi back in twenty fourteen. They had to petition
the Civil Registry for a special exemption, and they don't
allow it because they think that there would be ten

million Messi kids running around. But so these parents did
get it, they had to petition the Civil Registry when
they got in the province. Their son, who did get it,
got to keep the name, but he remains a rarity.
Only eleven people have been allowed to name Messi as
a first name.

left idle for a while, it just goes to like
this fish screen saver her And so she doesn't think

It's still a screen. She is mesmerized by it.

So what is it like an aquarium? A fake an aquarium?

And the fisher all moving around And the reason they
keep it moving is so it doesn't burn on the screen,
because if it's one image, it's going to burn into
your screen if it's up forever. And so it's just
always moving and it also like rolls by it. Baby
will watch that screensaver. It's the greatest show ever. And
so I'm not really showing her anything on my phone
and my wife doesn't think anything of it because it's

always up. But as soon as my wife leaves the
room and I have an hour with it, turn around,
let's watch the fish.

Does she look at your phone? And the baby? Does

Now. It's wild how these babies are so attractive to

Yeah, I'm telling you you're gonna freak out when she
gets your phone and she's gonna be able to navigate
through apps and close things and swipe up and it's crazy,
like it makes so much sense to them. I remember
when my little one was I don't know, four and
he just like next video pause it rewind it like
at four years old. I'm like, that's crazy. He gets it. Yeah.

Mine will grab the remote to the TV and they'll
point it. They don't really know what they're doing, but
they know that it controls it. And I'm like Oh no.

We do think about you sometimes because we only have one.

After that, I started watching, like the first fifteen minutes

I think I saw the first season a few of the.

First season is really good. It's based on a book.
Something happens, like, I don't know, the world ends bomb
or something. So they live in these silos. They lived
there for hundreds of years, and it's kind of how
that the town community society functions. Again, it's right up
my alley. The season one was really good. Season two
kind of sucked. The season one was so good that

I started watching season three last night and it's I'm in.
I'm in for a minute.

Do you also watch season two?

Yeah, okay, yeah.

Like it's all connected.

Yeah, that rarely doesn't happen. Wait, it really happens when
they're not connected. Yeah. The Coen Brothers show, Mike Fargo, Fargo.
If you watch a television show those series is those
seasons ninety eight percent not connected. And I love that,
Like you can watch him completely out of order. There's
a bit of a through line, but we didn't watch
him order at all. We watched the John Hampseeason first.

He's such a good bad guy.

Yeah he is. He was the sheriff, I think so. Yeah, yeah, dude,
he played a great one of.

The best villains on a TV series I've ever seen.

I'm watching mad Men right now. I know, I'm super

Watched mad so is he a bad guy?

And mad Men?

I didn't go to the party.

I mean he's the he's the main character, and I
mean it's like you root for him, but he's also
like such a bad guy and you're like, oh, come on,
do better, do better, and he starts to do better
and then he just goes back to his old ways.
I'm on like season six. They's seven seasons. It is
so good, it's it's one of the best TV shows
I've ever seen.

I just had to commit. It took me a lot,
so long.

Yeah, Like I started watching The Wire, yeah, because I'd
never seen The Wire and it's this is one of
the best shows ever and I do believe at the
time it's probably like transcendent television. And I watched it.

It's like, yeah, I thought the same. I think I
watched like two years ago.

Speaker 2 (42:16):
Yeah, I watched it last year and I was like
that's good. Yeah, but I did not go to season two.
Yeah did you?

Oh? Yeah, I finished it.

How many seasons did you watch?

However many there were two or three? There wasn't that many.
Maybe there were more let's see, so.

You weren't so moved. There's just so much to watch,
and Netflix is having that problem now. I saw a
story where they aren't really able to get people to
watch the second seasons of anything.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Yeah, oh wow.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
And I think the reason is, if I were to
have to create my theory is that we get super
excited about new shows, and if season one isn't awesome
with the heck of a cliffhanger, why would we jump
into something that was just kind of mid when there
are all these exciting new shows on at the same time.
So it's reinvest ourselves into something mid to pretty good,
or let's give something else that ants, because it is like,

look over there, look over there. I think that's why I've.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
Kind of fallen into that groove a little bit like
your friends and neighbors. I'm having a hard time with
the second season, like almost I haven't. It's been almost
like a three or four weeks where I've just kind
of like, I'm not watching that anymore. I might not
watch it. I did that with a Bear two. First
season was great.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
First season, we didn't watch the second. We started the
second and never finished the second season, and people were like,
it's so awesome, you should keep going.

I hear you.

At this point, I've kind of committed to not committing
right but friends and Neighbors. I love season one and
I kind of didn't care to go back to season two.
But I did enjoy season one and my wife was
very much into it, and so I'm glad we finished
season two because she was the one that wanted to
watch it and we enjoyed it. But I would have
probably not finished season two.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Yeah, I'm leaning towards and not going on.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
It's good. I think you would like it. It takes
a second, but I would have not finished season two
if it weren't for my wife and it being one
of her shows. But side low, season one was so
good that it allowed season two to be kind of
bad for me to get back into season three. So
we'll see how that goes. But how many wire seasons
are there?

Five you watched?

Maybe it took me a while, maybe it's more than
two years.

Did it get better?

Was it COVID? I watched it then it had uh yeah, yes,

that was cool, But like I wasn't blown away by
any means.

the one show that my wife wants to watch now

Have you watched south Land? It's an older one from
like nine to thirteen. It's on Netflix now. It's like
a cop show in La. It's so good. I watched
it way back in the David I never finished and
I'm on the final season now rewatching it. It's taking
me a couple of months, but it's so good. Regina King,
a couple other actors you'd know for sure.

and it's uh, it's literally just a quick little ten
minute film on the shooting of that's the seventy two
Steps Rocky running up the Steps. Really cool? Wow, from

Dude was I watched it twice. I was like wow,
one because it was just ten minutes and I watched
it and I called my son down, like, hey, you
should watch this. This is really really cool. It's only

Because the commitment for a show is hard for me.

another narrative that is being pushed by a body that

Yeah, it's the end of the world stuff that throws

There's there's no AI, there's no time travel. I do

CIA and they live in London, and there's no one's

Hamlin you can watch that season and then retire from

Okay, he's probably become my favorite actor.

He is so unlikable in that series. He's the top
one of the top television villains from this series from
that one season that I've ever seen like him. I
put him John Litzgal from the season of.

Well, John Litzgal plays and then he plays a bad guy.

Yeah, what's it called slow horses? Yeah, fresh horses, fresh horses,
slow horses, red horses. Really good on Caple.

I can't think of the show he's in. I'm thinking
of it's The Old Man, right, he's in The Old Man.

So the show is Dexter.

Dexter.

Did you ever watch Dexter. It's excellent because Dexter is
he's like forensic forensic detective type person microld analysts, right yeah, yeah,
so but he's also a murderer, but he's out, he's
out killing bad guys that need to be murdered.

And he's the redhead.

Speaker 2 (50:45):
So he has insane knowledge in that area because of
his job, because he's like a blood spladder analyst, forensic
whoa so he's able to use that and go on
murder bad guys.

Speaker 1 (50:56):
That's kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
And in that show, his sister on the show their characters, right,
she's a big role in the show. They start that
show and they're just two actors. They fall in love
while filming the show, get married, right, So the brother
and sister on the show, they fall in love and
get married. Then they get divorced and they're still acting
beside each other. Brother and sister on the show.

That's gonna be tough, going to work every day.

Speaker 2 (51:21):
Then you got cancer. Oh Dexter did not the good
real actor? Yeah wow? Then then he got good. I
can beat it.

Oh okay, yeah wow.

It's a great show. I don't I don't recommend many
people to go watch shows from ten years or so ago
because there're so many good ones now. But Deck Stars
like eight seasons. It's for it's quite the commitment. I'm
not recommending it. But John Litzgal is one of the
best TV villains I think I've ever seen him. John
Hamm over there and Fargo.

I gotta see that Fargo. So the John Hammon one's
really good. And then I remember watching the Girl from
Ted Lasso.

For half the season, it was terrible and then it

It messes you up. Yeah, yes, And no episodes are connected,
and it's been pretty predictive with certain episodes, at least
in the general direction that life's going. And that's my
favorite show.

Or just it's a pretty good indicator of what's to come. Oh,
because some of what's to come has already somewhat come.

where they goes to space the guy from forty Days
for forty nights.

Jesse Pinkman, I'm done here.

a lot one where I was like, no, I'm good,

I don't think I've watched an episode twice. I don't
need to. I just want to remember the feeling they
made me feel when it was over.

Yeah, it's the first one, seeing that one, and then
I've seen the helicopter. Mom Oh, that's crazy, dude. Like

of it, you don't even know what's happening. Yeah, until
it's happening. You have a there's one that was in
the last season, I believe where you can keep yourself
living longer. I didn't want to say too much about it,
but the ads pop up. Mike, you remember that one.

Yeah, so they had something medical happened to her. And
then you kind of have like a subscription plan.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
That I saw that with Rashida Jones that keeps you living.
That's the one I saw.

But you have to pay for it and they can
do things to keep you living longer, or you can
buy the plan that as ads in it. It's like
we're talking about streaming services just as you're living. You're like, yeah,
by the way, for two ninety nine, you can Its.

Just it's bizarre.

And they're like, oh, you want full coverage, you have
to pay more for.
