Speaker 1 (00:06):
A podcast called twenty five whist and they were a
whist So, yeah, it's too bad, but what did you expect.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
It's a podcast called twenty five.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Whistles twenty wine blow it up?
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
First of all, it's the first time Eddie and Kevin
have been in the same room.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Yeah, and a.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Couple for a couple of reasons.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
One, Eddie didn't come in because he wasn't here when
you were on the couch. What are we laughing about? Right, Well,
because we did a whole bit. We did a whole
bit about the group text before when I'm Bobby Bone Show.
Speaker 5 (00:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
I listened to that on Whistles last.
Speaker 5 (00:45):
Week, right, you listen on vacation.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Yeah, mainly, honestly.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
The only reason, well not the only, but the main
reason I listened because I wanted to see if you
have the balls test Jason Garrett questions.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
And I did, and you did, and I was proud
of you.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
And then I got to the segment after that.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
And then he was talking about how you're you're kind
of weak for getting out of the group chat. Yeah yeah,
and then I taught him how to put you back in.
But then you have no idea, and then on the
Bobby Bone Show, and then he wasn't here when we
were talking to you about that.
Speaker 5 (01:12):
Right, and then you gave the whole story over there
because we were just guessing here, right, Like we had
no idea why you left. We had our little theories
blah blah blah, vacation.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yeah, yeah, that's what I got. But and then you boys,
because I have bad allergies right now, I have really
bad allergies.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
And no, I listened to it and my whole thought
the whole time, and I know we are we do
a podcast, so it's it's just the nature of the business.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
I'm like, it's funny. They're all like talking or these guys.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Are asking, oh, I wonder what it is, but nobody
ever texted or called or.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Why would we do they do that because then they
can't make their theories on the show.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
I know.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
But for the first few minutes, I was like, that's
so weird, like they're just going with all these theories.
I was like, it's like they don't have my number
or they could just call or text. But I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
But then the update is we're talking to you about
it while Eddie's not here. And then Eddie hears the
true nature of it, which was a lot more serious
than we thought.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
I was surprised by that. You heard my theory. You
heard my theory of like, I don't know, He's probably
just tired of hearing us talk about stuff. Whatever, No
big deal.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I thought it was a vacation.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
By the way, dude, I didn't realize it was so serious.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
I know, we know, you're so.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Sad what happened. No, I'm not doing this whole thing.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
You can. I can give you a quick overview summary
because I don't think Brandon's been here for other episode
because last episode he was waiting at the other studio
and I got canceled. So Brandon needs a fulfill in.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Well, he was here last week's because he said something too. Well,
when you guys talked about it, I'm theorized I was.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Here for when.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Okay, let me just give everybody a quick update. Yeah,
Kevin was going on vacation. Kevin goes on vacation different
than the show. So Kevin went on vacation. But before
he left for vacation, in the Bobby Bone Show group chat,
which I'm not in, he was like, Hey, I'm out
of here. If you guys anything hit me up boom
and leaves after years of being in the group chat.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Very dramatic.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
So everyone's debating as to why Amy's asking me, Eddie's
asking me, I'm not in it. I don't know, I
don't know anything's upset him. And I think he's just
on vacation and doesn't want to get all the alerts,
and Eddie thinks it's something different. We have that conversation.
Eddie then leaves. Kevin's in here and it's on the
Bobby Bone Show podcast. Kevin, What's really to do? And
Kevin goes, well, they were asking for pictures from everyone
(03:27):
for Father's Day to put up on social media, and
they didn't ask me, and so my feelings were hurt.
So I just got out of the group chat, to
which I say, oh, I completely understand why you feel
that way, but here's the real answer. You're not one
of the central cast on the Bobby Bone Show. It's
nothing against you, but that's why. But I do understand
you feeling that way. And then we had to talk
about that, and then I posted on on Friday's Bobby
(03:48):
Bone Show Instagram page and I was like, Kevin's the
man there.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
There was a carousel, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Did you get followers from that? Oh?
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah, probably, Man, I'm still getting them over a hundred.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
That's why I did it. It's a gift to you.
I know, I know, and I appreciate that. Couldn't That's
where we are. So it was more serious because Kevin's
feelings got hurt about the Father's.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Day, which happens a lot, be honest. Okay, so it
was a little sensitive baby.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, it's fine. No, it wasn't just a father's day.
If you listen back, it's a five years leading up.
And then it just got to the point where it
just I was just like I was on vacation and
it just like I didn't It was messing with my
head at that time.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
I was like, I just don't need this right now.
So I just left.
Speaker 5 (04:30):
So where are you now with it? Because you've kind
of expressed it all, you processed it.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
I feel much better that I'm able to express it
out loud. I never wanted it to necessarily get to
this point. This wasn't my intentions to come on and
but at the end of the day, this is this
is what we do, this is what we were on podcasts,
and Bobby has a huge platform. You guys all do
and anything you guys talk about, whether it's radio show
or here, it's pretty much always on the microphone.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, we gotta turned up parnal drama a little bit,
all right, Who cares about somebody talking about something? Just
kind of mech.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
Didn't make it back to your family friend friend group.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
My mom listened to it? Yes, my mom listened to it.
I know, how'd that go?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
She was asking me, She's like, what the heck? Like
your Instagram, you know, like what's going on? So I
just sent it to her. I was like, just check
this out.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Listen to it.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
And I talked to her about it the next day,
I believe, and she was like, honestly, it was great,
Like it was really entertaining.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
It's funny, my mom idiot.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, She's like, I get where you're coming from. I
get where Bobby's coming from. And she's like, it was
just entertaining. I enjoyed it as a listener even and
she offered like a different perspective, an outsider's point of view.
So it was good to hear that, and overall just
felt better for sure that like I got to get
it out and we talked about it. You explained it,
We talked about it with everybody, and I think, like
(05:49):
we've all learned in the past, getting something out vocally
that alone will make you feel better.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
By the way, I'm not the one that didn't ask
you for your picture. All I was doing was trying
to rational as to why whomever was pulling pictures didn't
ask you, because if it were me asking, I would
ask you, Wait, where'd those pictures come from? No, I'm
talking about the father's Yeah. I wasn't involved at all.
I know if people were like, you didn't ask Kevin
for a picture? No, I didn't anything about it.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yeah you didn't.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Once I was told what had happened, I was like, oh,
let me try to explain why. I think it wasn't
a personal shot to you. So I wasn't trying to
be insensitive with that.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Well, that's why I never I knew it would get
back to you, of course, but I never wanted to
involve you because you're not in.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Amy and Eddie both came at it. They were like,
you got to hear this Kevin left the group chat.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Yeah, yeah, because you're not in the group chat.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
So I was like, Okay, Bobby doesn't even be involved
in this like social media, he doesn't as far as
the show goes. You never handled that up until recently,
and so I was like, but he doesn't even involved,
and then it got back to you obviously now you do.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
So anyways, Yeah, yeah, here we are.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
Yeah, we're here.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Do you guys need to hug it out or there's
no hugo out.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
No one's mad atone.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
No, no one's mad at anyone. Dude. I didn't even
know you had kids.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Okay, so my thought, here's something from me. I didn't
know that Kevin had that many tattoos, like he was
that tatted up that picture of you on your vacation,
and I made a note you, your wife, your twins.
Speaker 5 (07:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
You're like in a mountain or something, and you're strategically
turned to show you your muscles like I'm just holding
a baby. No, no, I get I don't too, dude.
So interesting, that's just coming from my understand understanding. I
didn't realize you were so tatted all the way up.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Oh yeah, all the way up my back? Really yeah,
not my whole back picture. Well it's not on that picture.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
No, go to kick off Kevin Page.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Yeah, do I follow him?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
That's how you found out? Yeah, at kickoff Kevin. Look
at the second picture. I didn't realize he had tattoos
all the way up, like his arm up into his shoulders.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
To the vacation one where you're with the native.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
And by the way, he's not even holding the baby
in the arm that's flexing.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
With he's holding the arm.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Oh, yeah, you know what you're don't need a Yeah,
I have a sling on with the baby though, like
holding the baby.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
Oh, the one in front of the mountains.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, it's a great picture.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
By the way, that's huge. Did you look like dak
In that.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
I know, and I haven't lived in alone.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
But like how spider man tattoos go all the way
up his arm?
Speaker 5 (08:15):
Yeah, I didn't realize you had. Well, that's not a
spider Man, that's a flycatcher.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
No, no, no, what's it called dreamcatch? A dream catcher? Yeah, right, catcher?
What is a flycatcher?
Speaker 2 (08:23):
When did you get all your tattoos?
Speaker 5 (08:25):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
My very first one, I was.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
I don't need a whole lecture. I generally I got.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
The full sleeve.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
I finished the full year nine thirty four U five
years ago.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
I finished the Full Sleep I think right before.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Moved here, right arm? Yeah, did his left arm sleeve?
Speaker 1 (08:42):
No?
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Did it start with the DreamCatcher?
Speaker 1 (08:44):
No, that was the very last one.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
Actually, okay, yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
You're also in a picture. I didn't ever scroll, but
there's a picture of you with the Native American guy
full head gear.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
That's my I think it's my wife in that one. Yeah,
that's your way.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
I did take a picture wife the Indian. Look, he's there,
it's Native Land.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Is he real?
Speaker 1 (09:00):
And he's real?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Got it? Yeah, that's all the matter.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
So it's not like some guys dressed there as far
as I know, and then you know.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
You it's like the Spider Man in Times Square. They
just have somebody that dresses like that.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah, and he was Yeah, he was legit. I don't
think he wanted to be there though, Well then why
was he there? I don't know, collecting money? Who knows?
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Like the monks that walk around New York selling bracelets.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
Yeah, race up five dollars? Are they raising money for
their monastery?
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Who knows?
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Dude, they could dress up like that, but probably yeah,
that's I think he's just raising money, Yeah, for his
Native I don't know.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
What about your compass tattoo? Is that still there on
your leg?
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Yeah, it's slowly going away. That was gonna be my
next question. Yeah, can you show us you want to
see it? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Sure, Well he has a tattoo on his legs, should
be a compass, and we play golf and he would
hit it bad and Eddie would go, you didn't use
your compass, turn your legs.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
Or he can't find his ball. I'm use your company compass.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Yeah, and then Eddie Eddie thought that because of him,
I'm getting my tattoo removed. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
Yeah, he was getting removed. I'm like, dude, we were
just joking with you. It's not that big of a deal.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
No.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
I know, there's a couple sins I definitely regret for sure,
and that's one of them. So I finally I wish
I mean, now it's been like two years and it's
still in the process.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
I will move to the Caitlin Clark discourse for a second,
where they had listed top five for MVP and she
wasn't listed yet her stats were better than pretty much everybody's.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
This is outrageous.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
It's outrageous, It's it's crazy how much. They hate her.
The WMA why it's a poorly run league.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
It's so bad.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
I watched a game and she scored most of the points.
Everything she put up went in like she dominated. Out
of the whole game that.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
I watched, was she You may't watch a troubled Oble game.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
I don't remember she were playing the Aces maybe no,
no aces, fever fever there fever no, And I know
she plays with the fever. I think they were playing
the Aces. I don't really remember. But she stood out
over everyone else also, so she's the person that most
people want to see, and I think that makes a lot.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Of people upset. Even the game they played against Minnesota,
I watch a little bit of that. Minnesota is awesome.
Minnesota links. She didn't have the most points, but she
had ten assists. She had like seventeen points ten assists,
and people are like, oh, look at it. She's like, no,
the other girl was on, so she just kept giving
her the ball. She had ten assists. Yeah, she had
double double. When everybody was like, oh, look how terrible
she is, But here's what I have. Kyln Clark becomes
(11:26):
the fastest player to reach fifteen hundred career points. In
just seventy eight games, ahead of legends like Ajia Wilson,
Diana Diana Rossi, Kandas Parker, Maya Moore and Breonna Stewart.
So these are the legends, and it's not comparing anything now,
it's comparing them then in their first games. And she
(11:48):
did it in seventy eight games. Ajia Wilson in seventy nine,
who's probably the best player in the WBA now, Breonna
Stewart in eighty one, Tarassei in eighty five, Maya Moore
in ninety one games. So she scored fifteen hundred career
points than anybody else in the history of the league.
Yet she sucks.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
She does not suck.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
She is the eleventh best guard according to the players.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
What did the fans think? The fans? The fans must
love her.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Right, that's who people come to see for the most part.
Right in the WNBA, if it were just to grow
based on what it always had, it would not grow.
You have to have in any league. You have to
have splashes to bring casuals in, to turn into mediums,
to turn into fans. You have to have those. And
I'm not just talking WNBA, but Kaylen Clark is the
(12:31):
biggest thing to happen to the WNBA in the last decade.
Literally nobody cared that was a basketball fan and wasn't
specifically a WNBA fan. It blows my mind to watch
somebody sabotage themselves like that league.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
It's insane, worse, it's insane, and it's just getting worse
and worse and worse.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Everything I see.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
I'm like, it feels like it's like some parody, like
an SNL skitter.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yes, I'm telling you that.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
I feel like there's something that they know about her
that we don't.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
But it doesn't matter.
Speaker 5 (12:57):
I know that, But what's the what's the whole reason
of it would come out with it? She's so good.
Even if there was something, it doesn't matter. It's if
she's not committing a crime, hurting kids, hurting animals. You
can be a jerk and if you're great. Michael Jordan
was a jerk.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
H Now Iverson as a ballhog. Kobe was terrible.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they were all you have you have
to especially when you play Look at the Killers the band.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
No great band, somebody the band, but the people that
get on the court and are just ruthless. The real winners.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
They're they're often unlikable.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
They're so competitive that they can come off as unlikable
because they're so competitive, but it doesn't even matter. It's
crazy to me to watch them say if she left
the WNBA, nobody would talk about it. No, No, it
would only be the people that would talked about the
WNBA before Cantlecark got there. And that's a very small audience,
and it would not get time on network television except
(13:58):
for them to go, well, we have to put women's
sports on, so just gonna put something on randomly.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Yeah, And the only only person I hear get talked
about right now is Sophie Cunney.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Sophie Conney, and now hers is because it's political, yeah,
and there's.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Anti trans and Sophie is yeah, and so that's now
why that is front and center. So it's wild.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I can't believe how much they hate the person that's
allowing them to have more butts and seats contracts to
be larger that her coming around the time that their
collective bargaining agreement ended. It was degree yes, Otherwise they
could have been like, you got what you got, right.
The NBA has had to pay for that league for
(14:41):
so many years, it doesn't matter. I'm done.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
This is weird because I can care less about anything
you're talking about. But to say that she sucks is
absolutely false. And to say that she's not the best
guard in the w NBA is like.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
I don't know that she's the best guard. I wouldn't
say she's the best guard, but I think she's the
top five player. Yeah, but they played it's almost not
the same at how they d her up than anybody else.
Like I watched pagebackers play. They play defense against it,
but they want to shut down Kaitlin Clark. That's the goal,
with the absolute purpose. It's hilarious and awful and I
feel so bad for me too.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Okay, there's that.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Tony Romo is on leave after his operating while intoxicated
arrest o w I Yeah, and definitely, but what does
that mean a game?
Speaker 5 (15:28):
Probably? I mean they've got to show that they don't
stand for that right, and they got to make some
kind of move to just show that we don't support that.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
We're not.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
He doesn't get any free.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Passes, he didn't crash in anybody, luckily I know, and
nobody died, nobody got hurt.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
Luckily.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
So it's weird they were to spend him for games,
like I could understand if we're going to find him
or we'll evaluate. I don't know. Nobody got hurt.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
The video fun The video is funny. The video, yeah,
it really does.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
Even better than the video of the real video or
the videos people are making him, him and Tiger.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Around together. He was doing Dack's hip thing. That's a stretching.
So who's cooler now to you, Romo or Brady cooler? Well,
oh that's a tough one. I mean, I'd rather have
a beer with Romo. I think right now, it.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Just seems like what Romo. Romo is just living a
life that everyone kind of lives, except he drove, you know,
like he went.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
To I think a lot of people have drinks in
the golf cours and drive home. Absolutely, yeah, absolutely, And
that doesn't mean it's right, but it's not wild the
uncharacteristic of most people. Correct, And he wasn't by watching
the video, he wasn't listen. I want to say again,
he should have been sided with an OWI. Everything that's
happened should have happened, but it wasn't like some of
(16:52):
those where they can't even function, or they fall asleep
in the middle of the road and their car's just
sitting there.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
You know what's also funny too are the lawyers that
are put some videos watching it and then breaking down
what he did right by not taking a breathalyzer, by
nothing like that. The whole thing that's happening around his
arrest is so funny to me.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Let this be a lesson. If you drink, you need
a coll freaking uber. Yeah, especially if you have a
million dollars when you can afford it, do it. Especially
Do you ever get to the point where you're drinking
and you're not sure of what if you can drive
or not? Like you know, you know you can drive
in your own head, but I'm saying you're not sure
if you reach that limit, like you're just right up
near it.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Yeah, I will explain that. It's it's not so much
like when you're drunk, you know, like I'm not supposed
to be driving.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
I don't even getting near a car.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
I don't feel like he was drunk.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
Drunk he wasn't. And that's the weird part where you're like,
I've had a couple drinks, but it's been an hour
or it's been two hours, Like I feel like I'm
really normal. I can I can drive right now. But
that's not the case when it comes to like a
cop smelling alcohol on your breath mm hm. Like once
they smell alcohol on your breath or notice you're doing
(17:58):
something a little different, I mean it's over for you.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah. So he probably felt because we don't know his
blood alcohol because they didn't they didn't test it, didn't
test it. So he's probably going, no, I'm good, but
because there was alcohol on his brought, the cop said no,
we got to give it to you. No, I'm not
going to take it. You're automatically arrested the end.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Yeah, And then those are the numbers game where it's
what what is it? One drink per hour? I believe
they say like if you have one drink, you got
to wait hour to drive to drinks two hours and
so forth.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I just wonder if it'd be hard to actually know
and if you're like I'm probably not, you could still
get pulled over and it'd be a yes, yes, yes,
they're yeah, because by watching him and how he's talking
and acting and he's just going to see Grandma, grandpa, grandpa, Yeah,
he didn't look drunk. He didn't look drunk to.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
No, he didn't.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
No, he didn't.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
But that just doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
I know you're right. The Cowboys, though I don't know who.
They might be good.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
The Cowboys might be good. The Cowboys look good. Boys.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
I don't want to, like push you to a place
that's unhealthy for all of us, but they might. And
Caleb downs, Yeah, dude, he's gonna be good.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
It's gonna be so good.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
Hey, so what are you what's making you say that?
Are you watching some of them.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
At a lot of people talk about it that I trust, see.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
I don't like that.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
I think Kevin made a really good point a while
back talking about how no one's talking about the Cowboys,
and I like that.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Oh so you don't like people talk I you don't
like how bad it consumes.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
There are people talking about him.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
No, not really off season, minor news.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
I literally two days ago.
Speaker 5 (19:33):
I'm talking about two days ago. Now they're talking about
the Cowboys now that training can.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Nobody talks about anybody whenever it's in the middle of
the dog days of summer.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
I get it, but I.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Don't want to. You don't like that they're talking good
about the Cowboys.
Speaker 5 (19:45):
Yeah, because it's almost like, all right, now you're h
now you're hyping us up, and then when they win
seven games.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
You're gonna be like, here, there go.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
The Cowboys aren't good enough. Stop talking about the Cowboys.
I think they're gonna be good, and stop talking about
the Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
You're right, I'll stop talking about them.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
I watch Dax's press conference where he's like, yeah, I
want to win the championship, like I didn't come here
to not and I used to say it all the time,
so I'm not going to.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
Hide from it.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
And he's wonn like a ninety four, ninety five, ninety
six Cowboys Championship T shirt. I love that and he's
like yeah, And so they have the best combo of
receivers in the NFL. I think they're demostraints natty, yes, so.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
And they've added some thirds that are really good.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
And Javonte came and was actually really good, so good
exactly what we needed, so I think, and that defense
they're stacked. He don't talk, don't talk about it.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Right, I'm talking about it. Did you hear that Jerry
wants to is thinking about tinting the glass up? Top
huh not top Along. The biggest problem at Cowboys Stadium
is when you're playing at three o'clock, the three o'clock game,
somewhere around five, the sun starts coming right in your eyes.
For one team sometimes the Cowboys. Depends how that coin
(20:53):
flip falls or whatever. But I guess teams have complained.
I think the Cowboys sometimes complain because they're going that
way too. That the sun in there in your eyes
kind of messes the whole thing. So he's thinking about
tinting that those side windows.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Do you hire just a bunch of window guys from
the neighborhood windshield? Ye, they're just.
Speaker 5 (21:17):
They bid for it.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
So if the Cowboys are going to be so good,
let's get them in our Skins league. We could probably
get them pretty early this year.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
I don't I don't think I can. I've been I've
been crunching the numbers. Get him in there, man, I
don't think I can do Skins.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
What if all four of us get into together.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
Now we're talking.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Now we're talking brand that because that limits the responsibility.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah, absolutely, okay.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
I would even go fifty percent and let you guys
divide the other one up.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Kevin Brandon, you're in for sure. Hold on, do you
even know what it is? Let me call my mom.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Brandon doesn't care.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
I know, I love it. Brandon. The problem? How much
we lost? I tell Brandon how much we lost us? Oh?
Speaker 4 (21:56):
I know?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Yeah, you were here for it. Five grand apiece. No,
that bad?
Speaker 2 (22:01):
So you're already looking up?
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Yeah awesome, dude.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Can I remind you last year was so stressful?
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Last year we had everything go wrong? Dude. Our second
team we picked overall. Our quarterback got hurt immediately, Joe
Burrow got hurt immediately.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Yeah, nothing you can do about that.
Speaker 5 (22:17):
No, it can. I mean it just theers.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
I don't know. So he did.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Listen, he was here, he was.
Speaker 5 (22:25):
I don't know, man, I like that. If they're all
If Kevin Brandon me, if we can split the fifty,
I'm in.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
I'm back in. I'm in. I got five percent, Kevin,
don't be stupid.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Come on, dude, that was a lot of money last year,
I understand, but.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Not even less exactly, and not even the money like
watching every week.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
I mean, I feel like it aged me ten years.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
Yeah, yeah, for sure. I did not enjoy some of
those sundays. Some of the Sundays winning, we can.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Enjoy them twelve percent more.
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Now, all right, you're not responsible for twenty five percent anymore.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
I got you, dude, I'm in.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
I'd be a bit more than twelve. But oh yeah, yeah,
if you split the fifty, listen to math here, So
what's fifteen to be forty five? Right? Sixteen forty eight,
So it'd be like sixteen sixteen point seventy five percent
or something like that.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
Right, Sorry, sounds good, sounds good to me. I'm telling
you if this, if the three of us are in, I'm.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
In, Hey, twenty three percent, you're still in.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
No, it's roughly it's seventeen percent.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Would you do seventeen percent?
Speaker 5 (23:39):
I would tell I'm telling you right now on the record,
I would do seventeen percent.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Would you do seventy percent?
Speaker 1 (23:43):
I'm in to yah something thing about Kevin.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
I can't go home talk to the wife about it.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Kids are getting older, more expensive now just seventeen percent,
just seventeen.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
But you're looking at it from our past experience.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
It was bad. We year before when nobody got hurt,
I made four thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
And the year before that I made twenty eight hundred dollars.
Two minutes ago, Eddie was like, I can't do it.
I can't do it.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
And now he's like, come on.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
Kevin, I didn't know we were gonna do. Can we do?
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Mike?
Speaker 5 (24:13):
You want to go in.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Fo You guys sound so negative, like you're just gonna
lose money.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
Why would I want to hop into that? Come on,
Heaven's making it sound like that is win money, though
you should be hyping that part of it.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Come on, keV, think about it.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
I'll think about it.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
There are only six players that made the Madden ninety
nine club this year.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
What's the Madden nine? Like the cover?
Speaker 2 (24:35):
They give you a ninety nine rating and you get
an award and sometimes during the season they'll bump you
up and you'll get at mid season if you end
up being so dominant, but you have a ninety nine
overall rating. There are six players, So if you can
name one, Kevin Miles, Garrett Miles Garrett at YEP made
Edge for the Rams a score of ninety nine. That
(24:57):
is correct.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
Wow, that's cool. M Let go Jamar Chase.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Jamar Chase wide receiver the Bengals ninety nine correct. Good job, dude, Okay,
this is a guy that's sports seventeen percent.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Yes quickly, I will say real quick too. I wasn't
in the draft last year. If we do it, I'm
definitely gonna be or we'll do it together.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
Hey man, I would let you do that. Hey, I
think he maybe should go out. Won't I won't even
I won't even log in he's in.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Okay, No, we're back to this. Matten the draft. Okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Josh Allen Josh Allen, quarterback, Bills ninety nine overall, six
three other players.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Good job, dude, This one might be out of limb
a little bit, but I'm going McCaffrey Christian.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Did not get a ninety nine. He's already got three
off the board. Brandon, you want to take a shot.
Matthew Stafford ninety nine?
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Nice dude? Wow? At what the dude?
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Dude's Benjamin Buttons yea, yeah dude?
Speaker 5 (25:55):
How old is he fifty? It might be his last year?
Like that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
Okay, go ahead, it's like him and Lebron, Like, what's up? Guys?
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Was it so much?
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (26:08):
Jackson Smith NAJIGBA ninety nine, Wow, dude, good one.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
One more receiver Seahawks. There's one more, and I don't
think you'll get it, so you can prove me wrong.
Speaker 6 (26:23):
All I have in my head is Pickens because I'm
just thinking of George George Pickens.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Incorrect. Go ahead, Eddie, it wouldn't be George Pickens. Now
you have to go last with slim Pickens here last?
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
Can I ask for a hint, Jess? Is this skill position?
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:41):
So it's I say, offensive side of the ball skill position.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Okay, not special teams. Give me.
Speaker 5 (26:51):
I'm on Ross Saint.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
Brown incorrect, Kevin back over to you, offensive side of
the ball skill position.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Justin Jefferson.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Well, I was gonna give you another hint, but you
ran away with it. No guess Brandon, offensive side of
the ball skill position is white.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Oh dang, that really narrows it.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Don't think he's white.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
Yeah, mcconky's white.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
He has white, not McCaffrey.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
I'm gonna go with mcconky, Eddie.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Offensive side of the ball skill position is white. Place
for a bad team.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Mmmm.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
Oh wow, there he's a quarterback.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
Oh oh, could it be a tight end?
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Gosh?
Speaker 4 (27:53):
What's his name? The Lions? Is the Lions tight end? Mmmm?
Speaker 1 (27:59):
He said, a bad team. Why am I helping you?
Speaker 4 (28:03):
Yeah, the tight end.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
It's not the hint yet, all right, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
I'm gonna go with dang Yeah, sky Moore, it's.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Just missed it. I'm gonna guess brock Bowers incorrect. And
you did not let me give you a hint.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Oh, I didn't know. I keep goling ahead.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Ye, Brandon offensive side of the ball, skill position, his
white bad team tight end got three of them, and
first that's the guy you want to get into skins
like Ed's out.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
No, no, no, okay, I'll be out. Did I make
did I make my did I make the cell to me? Yeah? No,
not there, okay.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Aaron Rodgers said his wife Gavin mission to play another
season's crazy.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
He watched Tom Brady get divorced.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Way, but is that like me going the tooth fairy
says I should go home. Yes, Like we don't know
if she's.
Speaker 5 (29:11):
Real, right, No one's seen her, right.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
I believe he's still talking about her.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
See it and stuff like that is what makes me
feel like she's not real.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
He also said that she's the reason he got back
with his family, because you know, he was a strange
from his family. All those pictures came out of them
with his parents. He's like, my wife did.
Speaker 5 (29:24):
This really amazing He got back together was family, Yeah,
pictures and everything, them hanging out having dinner.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
And he credits his wife.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Dude.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
You know, I got a little tear and I'd seen
those pictures.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Dude, I got to look him up because I.
Speaker 5 (29:36):
Felt really bad. It's not him, but just the whole situation,
no matter how bad anything is, Like when you don't
talk to your family like that, when like it's just
for whatever reason. He never talked about why. But the
fact that they got over all that and they're together again,
that's a beautiful thing.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
I mean I was a strange from my sister for
like ten years. Yeah, and my wife was My wife
was like, we need to figure this out, and.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
So it was similar maybe his wife did.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
But mine's real. You guys have met her?
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, do we do?
Speaker 2 (30:14):
We think she's real.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
No.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
I don't think she's real either, because they've been trying
to find her forever and no one has any clue.
There's been there's nothing. He's ever said her name, right, yeah, Brittany.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
So funny is are their marriage certificates?
Speaker 2 (30:32):
They can't find one.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
That's bizarre, but they.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Could have got married anywhere are They're a whole podcast
that have been like, let's find out who she is,
and he keeps talking about her if he wanted to
keep her completely private, right, But even then, I don't.
Speaker 5 (30:46):
Think in this day you can keep someone completely private
like that, especially high profile like Aaron Rodgers. You can't
like somebody's gonna follow you, somebody's gonna see you somewhere, yeah,
or unless they just don't care enough, like.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
They got in the building today.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
What was that.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Scary stuff this morning?
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (31:04):
Yeah, I heard, yeah, yeah, somebody's up here looking for me?
Speaker 1 (31:08):
What wait? Was it really?
Speaker 2 (31:10):
I don't know. The guy was really weird. I was
staring at me. Oh really, it was susy in the building.
I heard about the guy out, but the scary guy
was like stay right there, and then he went up staring.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
It's weird, man.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
I drove up and he drove up.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Right to and he's like, why are you hiding mind
a pole?
Speaker 1 (31:26):
I was like, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (31:26):
I was told you I drove up to a weird situation,
like really, yeah, yeah, and he.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Thought I was waiting on him. I was like, hey, dude,
you can go on you.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
I gotta get my bag out and stuff.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
You're good. Which team do you think it would be
best if they won the Super Bowl this year? Meaning, man,
they really need it, like they really need it.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
The Lines, the Jets, I would put, Well, it's the Browns, right,
I don't know, like what team needs I would say
the Bill.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Oh, Bills, it's a big one, and all these are fair,
and I'll go first. I think it's the Bills because one, well,
they didn't win all those years they went. Secondly, they've
been really good, I know, and so it's a mix
of them getting close back in the nineties, it's a
mix of them being really good as of late, and
then it's a mix of them just not winning it
(32:22):
and for it. So I'm gonna go Bills, But I
completely understand the Lions. You can go now on the Lions.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Yeah. I just think like the Bills, they've been close
the last couple of years, and a couple of years
ago when they were like fourteen and two or whatever
it was fourteen and three, and then they lost to
the Commanders unexpectedly. And it's just that city, man, I
want to see that city because they're so just so
emotional in their team, Dan Campbell, So I hope they
get it done.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
And wou'd you pick the Jets?
Speaker 5 (32:48):
I first thought the Jets just because I mean, gosh,
there's just trouble over there, Like I feel like I
feel bad for the New York fans who picked the Jets.
Like the Giants, they've had their their time and all that.
But the Jets, I mean back in Super Bowl two
or whatever, like with Joe Namath, who knows when that
was the last time they saw any success.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Like nineteen sixty nine when he predicted he'd win and
they did.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yeah, he predicted it.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
That's legit.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
You've seen that?
Speaker 5 (33:13):
Oh yeah, no, I've seen the clip where he tries
to make out with a reporter.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Yeah, Susie Colbert, right, I remember that.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Yeah, that drunk on the sideline he went for should
not have been driving. You say, I'm gonna say Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yeah, I think the Cowboys every way too. I'd put
the Cowboys at three because I'd go Bill's Lions Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (33:32):
Why do the Cowboys need.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
It more now?
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Because they've been held to a higher standard because they
get clicks and views and they haven't done it since
the nineties, and they've had good quarterbacks, they've had good defenses,
they've had star players. It just hasn't worked. And people
love when they don't win.
Speaker 4 (33:53):
They love it.
Speaker 5 (33:54):
They love hating on the Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
You guys, let's not talk about it.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
Does I have anything to do with Jerry Jones getting
older too?
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Other people love hitting on the Cowboys? No, I'm just saying, like,
would you like to see him get one more? I
guess I don't care.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
I never considered that in my thinking of the Cowboys,
But now that you say that, I think he would
like to see.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Well, yeah, he would definitely like it.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Yeah, yeah, I think he's staying alive, Yeah, just to
see it one more. Do you watch The Odyssey?
Speaker 1 (34:21):
No, I haven't seen it yet. I want to see it.
I want to. We just got to get a babysitter.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
It reminds me of something from that movie. I'm not
gonna spoil it, though.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
What reminds you of getting old.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
Jerry Jones staying alive until the Cowboys won? One you
watch The Odyssey?
Speaker 1 (34:34):
I'm trying to think so many it's as good as
everyone says.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
It's really good. I really want to see it, and
I love when something's overhyped. I love to come back
and be like overhyped. My favorite thing saying something's overhyped.
Man with my top things in life to do probably
number six a's overhyped. Nice it wasn't it was really good?
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Who does Jerry Jones play in the Odyssey.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
He actually plays Matt Damon, who plays range Man, and
he got a rip.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Just for that movie.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, do you not get the reference?
Speaker 5 (35:03):
I get it now, Okay. I had to think about it.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Mike, you get it right, I get it. Yeah, I
gotta see it.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
I mean, man, I don't know why I was thinking.
So I'm almost done with The Agency season two.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Yeah, good house so good.
Speaker 6 (35:15):
Yeah, dude, I took my kid to go see Minions
and Monsters this weekend. I'm watching all these people walk
walk into the Odyssey.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
I'm like, I heard that movie was really bad.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
We He literally wanted to leave.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
He's like a kid wanted all these minions, yeah, because
I mean he was super tired from the day before,
but he was also like, can we go can we
go home?
Speaker 5 (35:35):
I was like, yeah, Usually the parents want to get
out of there, but the kid that's that's strange.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Yeah, it was about like an hour in so I
was like, yeah, let's go. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
My wife took my seven year old and they were
both like it was bad.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Wait, so Brandon, you know how you don't know how
it ended. You don't know who won Minions.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
I don't know who won Cowboys or Bills or Monsters.
I don't know what I'm I think I'm good.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
Your kids hated it too, huh.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Yeah, it's good to know. Man, Mike, did you watch
that one?
Speaker 6 (35:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (36:00):
He goes that bad.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
I enjoyed it.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
I stayed the whole time. I don't know, Mike, when
you do movies like that because you're watching it. That's
your job to watch movies. Are you the only adult
in a room with a bunch of kids that one?
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Are they loud?
Speaker 5 (36:13):
No? I go on like different times where like a
lot of families don't go. You know, it's like a
seven pm is a Minions isn't gonna have a lot
of family.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Yeah, that's a good point.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
They show it at seven pm.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Yeah weird. Yeah, that is a good idea.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Kevin, what's your update on your knee?
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Guys? I have surgery coming. Oh really? Yeah, another one.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
So did they tell you something from your mari?
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Yeah, so I think, oh yeah, I think it was
the one when you were gone here. We talked about it.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
But the I tore my meniscus, so the inner part
of my knee tore my meniscus, and they checked it out.
And then I met with a surgeon last week and
he was just talking about like they're gonna try to
save as much as they can because the more they
have to take out, the more likely you are to
have arthritis at a young age.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
So and then the longer the recovery. So there's three
steps to it.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
One is I'm walking within like two days, no problem.
Another is a couple of weeks. Another is I'm on
crutches for a month and I won't know until he
gets in there.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
That's weird, I know.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Man, crutches, you gotta do the leg roller. If that's
the case, I agree. It just hurts so bad. They're
like our arm armpit armpits aren't aren't ready for that?
Speaker 3 (37:20):
No, right there, Just the two days or three days
I was on them a couple of weeks ago, I.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
Was like, this sucks, but it could also be a
minor cleanup yeah, like it could be almost nothing. You
go in, you take it easy.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
So this Friday, I have surgery. Dang, and it's a
arthroscopic surgery, so I don't have to go to a hospital.
It's like an out patient yeah, which is which is nice.
And I feel honestly, I feel great, Like compared to
where I was a couple of weeks ago, I feel
really good.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
You know what makes you feel even better?
Speaker 2 (37:48):
Huh? Skins league seventeen percent. I mean, think about it, Hey,
turvive this.
Speaker 5 (37:54):
Make the decision while you're under surgery.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
No, make it. Make a deal with God. If I
live through this, I'm gonna do Skins late.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
Yeah, I take that.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
If you let me live through the surgery, God, I'm
gonna do.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
We're there when you wake up.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
What he said?
Speaker 1 (38:09):
Here you go?
Speaker 2 (38:09):
What's unhealthy about that?
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Nothing?
Speaker 2 (38:13):
He saw Marshall Lynch at the airport?
Speaker 1 (38:14):
What No?
Speaker 4 (38:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (38:15):
In Nashville.
Speaker 1 (38:16):
Yeah, whoa Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
When I went on the vacation, literally as soon as
we got there, checked our bags in, then we're walking
to the gates and then all of a sudden, out
round the corner, this big guy, like not tall, but
just big baggy hoodie on sweatpants, on hat, sunglasses and
a bunch of bags by himself. And I was like
walking by literally seven ft away. I was like beast mode.
Speaker 5 (38:38):
And he said, yeah, Kevin strucks again.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Yeah, it's Adam saying.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
I just kept walking. He was walking towards us, and
we were walking right by him, and I'm like walking
with my wife and kids and I'm like beast mode
and he just looked at me.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
He's like and then just kept walking.
Speaker 4 (38:54):
Wow, that was it?
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Were you drunk? No? No, I was just like, I
think that's him.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
Yeah, what would have happened in that interaction? If it
was perfect for you?
Speaker 1 (39:06):
What do you mean?
Speaker 5 (39:07):
Like?
Speaker 1 (39:07):
What what you yell?
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Best mode and perfect scenario? Whoa?
Speaker 1 (39:11):
He goes, what O man? You could go off, Kevin,
I'm just kidding.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
Are your mom told me you no?
Speaker 1 (39:23):
If you would have been like yeah, what up?
Speaker 4 (39:24):
Man?
Speaker 1 (39:25):
And that was it. But once he just gave me
like the he didn't even say anything, just.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Walk through what could have what could have been best
case scenario? Okay, all right, I'm walking by not fantasy
but literal best case scenario.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
And I'm like beast mode. And then he just stops
and he would just like, what's up man? How you doing?
Take a picture with him? Say what's up to him?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
You want to get a picture?
Speaker 1 (39:42):
Yeah, yeah, how you doing?
Speaker 2 (39:44):
And I do a podcast?
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Want to come on?
Speaker 4 (39:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (39:47):
Now we're there?
Speaker 3 (39:48):
How often are you in Nashville? Whenever you come back?
Do you want to come on?
Speaker 2 (39:51):
He's like, come over to Chili's with me. I'm here
by myself.
Speaker 5 (39:54):
The airport, red loss.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
That's what was a.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Huge not tall but thick. Yeah yeah yeah yeah, and
a lot of hair, a lot of hair.
Speaker 5 (40:03):
Well, I wonder what he was doing here?
Speaker 2 (40:05):
Was it hard not to know it's him?
Speaker 3 (40:07):
It was so easy, like he had because first of all,
he had like seven bags with him, Like he had
a cart carrying a backpack and another bag in his hand,
and nobody.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
Was with them.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
He's wearing a Seahawks helmet.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
And he just comes around the corner and he's just
like he could just tell I mean, yeah, you got
a big old hat on and his long hair.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
He had a lot of bags with him. Yeah, so
he's moving.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
No that's not interesting. No, that's that's no. No, No,
I don't know how you got there, but no, no, no,
that's not how you move.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Like I don't know if it was clothes, equipment or what,
but it was a lot of stuff.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
Did you guys see Donald Trump won another club championship
over the weekend golf?
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Oh wow?
Speaker 5 (40:46):
At his club.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Yeah, so I think he's won like forty club championships.
Oh no, can see that. He even tweeted out he
was like, yeah, I shot a seventy and they showed
one shot shooting. He said, a lot of people, you know,
work case, but I have skill. And he's being serious.
And I think they said it was his fortieth club
championship that he's won.
Speaker 5 (41:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
No, one's challenging him, dude.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
It's not that nobody's playing and beating him. It's just
that they're rigging the scorer.
Speaker 1 (41:14):
Of course they are. Yes, that's that's.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
So Kim Jong Il whenever they showed his round of
golf and he had hole in ones in every.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
Hole if you're playing against them, like, would you just laugh?
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Well, everybody that's played against him, and even a couple
people that I know that's played with them. So at
the same time, they say he either goes up and
cheats or has somebody to go up and move his
ball and cheat all the time.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
Crazy.
Speaker 5 (41:34):
He has that thing that you strapped to your ankle
and drops it out.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
There was a story that came out because it's ridiculous
because you can what he's old, yes man, And even
if it's the seniors, you're playing fifty five year olds.
And any club has awesome golfers. It doesn't matter what
club it is. There are golfers there that are scratch golfers.
For the most part. The weirdest part was they said
the last time he played in a tournament that it
wasn't his. He played in that AAC tournament and like Tahoe,
(42:01):
the one that all the celebrities play, and over three
days he shot fifty three over and that's and that's
the last tournament that he could. Wasn't his club.
Speaker 5 (42:10):
Champions over again?
Speaker 2 (42:13):
Older, That's gosh, this is a golf person.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
You have to be like, what is happening.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
It's his club and he says it and he's the
president and he's the president, but he was winning them
before he was the president, just because it was his
club power.
Speaker 5 (42:31):
Have you ever played in club championships?
Speaker 2 (42:33):
I've never played in a single event at my club.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Dude, you should do that.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
I've never played in a member member. I've never played
a member of guest.
Speaker 5 (42:40):
I remember, guess that sounds fun.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
You literally you could go play with me, let's go.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
Yeah, that's why it sounds fun.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
Day.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
I've never signed up for a single thing. I have
a membership. I have a locker. I've only ever seen
it once.
Speaker 5 (42:52):
What's in there?
Speaker 2 (42:53):
Nothing?
Speaker 5 (42:53):
You didn't put anything in there?
Speaker 2 (42:54):
No, because I might want to use it. And I
don't go up there a whole lot. I just don't
want since the baby haven't played golf, but it's last year.
My uncle before sergery, I didn't play golf. And also
just I don't know anybody there. I just I don't
only do stuff with people. Yeah, and sometimes like sign
up with your other member friend. And the only person
(43:14):
I know at my club is Ryan Hurd, and he
has family that's in the club, so his family always
plays together.
Speaker 4 (43:21):
Right.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
And then also they're like two and three day tournaments.
I can't do that. Oh they are sometimes are a weekend,
probably Saturday Sunday.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
That's too much. I don't know if we can do that, Eddie,
I don't know if we can do that. Well, remember guests,
you know why don't you join? So he has a
friend and a reason to go, that's it. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (43:37):
People love to ask me that too, like what club
are you a part of?
Speaker 4 (43:40):
Him?
Speaker 5 (43:40):
Like the Muni It's called Muni's right down the road.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
Dang you feel do you feel embarrassed? Say that? No,
it's a waste, waste of money.
Speaker 5 (43:50):
It's just a weird question, like to assume that someone's
in a club, you know, like, and I never know
how to sometimes I just want to be like, yeah, troubadoor.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
Yeah, but you play golf and you have a position
that some people feel there's prominence to it, so they
just expect Yeah, I guess so.
Speaker 5 (44:06):
And you're a good golfer, decent, a decent golfer. But
I mean, it's just a weird I don't know.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
Brandon's glides in your right now that I took it,
probably like the best golf for us in a while.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
And you too, Kevin, Wow, how do you get out
of it here? He just wants to get in that skin.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Sleek and you can't play because your knee I know,
but you're walking okay though, Kevin.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (44:29):
I feel I feel okay, like I feel I mean
certain tweaks here and there, for sure, But I got
a brace on twenty four to seven. Other than when
I sleep, I guess, but it's just he's like, yeah,
the Morgan stay outfit right now the better because you
just don't know at any point it could just go again.
Speaker 5 (44:43):
Is your brace like a big like a Jalen Hurts
brace or like a slippery bird?
Speaker 2 (44:48):
That's a it's in the picture where you showing up
his muscle but in his tattoos, but you don't see
it because you're staring at his muscle and his tattoos.
Speaker 1 (44:54):
The one with a Native American it's in there too. Yeah,
check it out. Oh actually, no, that wasn't in there.
Why were you in the shoulder brace to hold my kid?
Speaker 3 (45:03):
Oh that yeah, because we're doing a lot of walking
so and the strollers of pain with all those people
on the tourists and stuff. So we just put a
sling just to help that support.
Speaker 6 (45:10):
I thought something happened to your shoulder again, now that
that was earlier in the year.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
Yeah, I was going to read this and then we
can call it. But I'm happy football is coming back,
but it's just not going to be a good year.
For Arkansas, it's not there's not even any fake hope.
Sometimes I could have fake hope. But I was reading
this article by Trey Biddy, who writes for twenty four seven.
I think it's twenty fourth. I want to make sure, yeah,
(45:35):
and I have an accounts. So in this article, he
did one that was talking about why Arkansas could surprise people,
and the articles fine. They did one it was like,
why Arcansas's not going to surprise people. I'm gonna read
your paragraph now. That really hurt.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
From the second one.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
Since twenty twelve, over the last fourteen seasons, Arkansas has
a program is a pathetic sixty nine and one hundred
and three, which is forty in that time span, Arkansas
has been the worst program in the conference since twenty twelve,
worst of Missouri, worst Mississippi State, West in South Carolina,
weorst Kentucky, and worst Vanderbilt. We are the worst.
Speaker 1 (46:11):
Wow, I wouldn't think that's true, but I guess. I mean,
he knows the numbers.
Speaker 2 (46:16):
He's sharing the number.
Speaker 5 (46:17):
Yeah, I mean like it's I would pick Vandy other
than this last year four years.
Speaker 4 (46:23):
Yeah, but then that's sad, dude.
Speaker 2 (46:25):
And if you pick them, you'd be wrong.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
I know you guys are the worst or the worst.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
That's rough, man.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
I'm sorry, dude.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
What's your schedule like this year? We start with the Cowboys,
then you play Ohio State.
Speaker 4 (46:41):
We have it.
Speaker 2 (46:41):
We have, according to ESPN, the number one war schedule long.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
Oh really, here we go?
Speaker 2 (46:46):
Yeah, I can, I can read it to you. But
we also like our non conference when everybody else is
playing Nickels or whoever, we're playing Utah, we go to
Utah and play in Utah.
Speaker 4 (46:53):
Oh immediately.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
So okay, let's see here.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
Are you gonna go to any of them? You think?
Speaker 2 (46:58):
I don't know. I mean we have a house there now,
and I would love to. I don't know. I really
have an issue with our athletic director.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
It's gonna be a long season. Boys.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
Let's see here.
Speaker 5 (47:11):
Hopefully that Skins game gets better.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
Strength of schedule This is from ESPN Analytics, not from me.
Number one worst, which is the hardest strength of schedule Arkansas,
the whole country. And why I have this image that
sent it to my father in law because number two
is Oklahoma.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Oh oh really wow?
Speaker 2 (47:32):
Number three is Texas, number fourth Kentucky. Number five is
old miss and it's a lot of SEC just playing
each other. But yeah, Arkansas is the worst number. We
have a bad team and the number one worst strength
of schedule.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
Hey, but you never know, man, you.
Speaker 5 (47:45):
Do good try.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
I've been doing this for way too long. Real quick,
I've found hope in the most hopeless of times.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
That's fair. So that's sorry, dude.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
Yeah, on that note, we're done. I thank you everybody
for being here, thank you for listening, thank you for
being a friend. Travel down the road and back again. Eddie,
what are you looking at?
Speaker 1 (48:07):
I'moking at your schedule? Played Georgia, that's well, they're SEC.
Speaker 5 (48:12):
But yeah, Tennessee, Yeah we played h utah Is and
on concerts LSU to the back end.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
Of it looks tough. The whole thing looks tough. Dang.
Speaker 5 (48:22):
Yeah, it's like when you look at the schedule and
you know all those teams and you know they're pretty good.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
That's tough.
Speaker 5 (48:28):
How's Bandy gonna be this year?
Speaker 1 (48:29):
Good?
Speaker 4 (48:31):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (48:33):
What were you saying?
Speaker 1 (48:34):
You said? Edie?
Speaker 2 (48:34):
What you both the West?
Speaker 4 (48:35):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
Can we get out?
Speaker 1 (48:38):
I got got here all right.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
We'll see you guys later on this week.
Speaker 5 (48:41):
Bye Buddy.
