to make?

KAYLEI my favorite thing to make is fajidas. I mean
that's my that's my go to.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Like bread and butter.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Yeah. I think it's probably just because Mike, my dad
used to make them. So I've just been around that
smell my entire life of like grilling, making fijidas, eating tacos,
like it's just part of my childhood really, and it
reminds you of your family, I would imagine too, It's
one of those nostalgia things. I don't know how you

grew up, but I grew up with grilling was part
of every weekend sometimes like every night, you know, like
my dad probably grilled about four days out of the week.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Maybe that was a big grilling boom. I feel like
grilling is still popular, but I feel like there's certainly
a grilling boom where everybody had one and it's what
everybody did.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
But I don't know because I don't think it was
a boom. It's just what he did all the time. Yeah,
And like that's what everyone did my uncles. If there
was a get together, everyone was grilling. Like if you
were going to a party, for example, like my uncle's
throwing a party, Morgan, you're bringing the beer. I'm bringing
the meat lunchboxes, bringing the chips and salsa, like, and

that's how you'd go to the party. And then whoever
was hosting it had the grill and had the fire going.
Did you bring the meat? Yes, here you go boom
and then they just cook it.

Okay. So was this a culture thing too?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Maybe that's all the part of time big time and
my dad like not party. It was just be a
regular day. I'd get home from like school or something,
or work or whatever, and he was already outside, like
the grill, the barbecue pit was already smoking, and he'd
be sitting down and it wouldn't take him like thirty
minutes to grill, which is crazy. Like I remember when

I went to college and seeing like people like, hey,
we're going to grill burgers or whatever, and they would
be done in like ten fifteen minutes. I'd be like,
what are you doing? Like, cause my dad would cook
for hours and it would be a three hour process
and you'd go out there and be like is it
ready to like no, not not yet, and we like
it's been three hours. He was messy with you guys,

because he would just he just loves sitting out there
drinking beer. And grilling and whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Maybe he was getting some alone time and so that
process might have been a little stretch.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
That was probably it too. Yeah, so it's just part
of like me growing up.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, I love that. But that's a cool thing to
have a reminder of growing up and then you get
to use it with your own family. Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Although none of my kids have asked me to, like,
you know, teach him yet, which.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I'm surprised you haven't forcibly taught them.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I don't really want to do that. I kind of
like they love eating it, don't get me wrong. They're
all just like, oh, you can have a piece? Can
I have a piece? And like is it ready? Like
kind of like what I did when I was a kid. Yeah,
So I don't know if my dad ever taught me.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Yeah that's what I was going to ask, did your
dad teach you?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Not? Really? Like he would make me clean the barbecue
pit okay, like before like you know, get all that
old charcoal, all the ashes out of there first, and
then kind of like get an one you start the
fire and then get an onion and clean the grill.
It was almost like I.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Was the sushiw You do really clean the girl with
an onion.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yeah, you scrape it with like an aluminum brush. Yeah,
and just to get all that grime off from whatever
you cook before. And then you get an onion and
you kind of just sanitize it with an onion.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
That's funny. I always saw a onion and being used
to clean girls online and I thought it was ai
or not real because somebody was messing with me. Who
cleans with an onion?

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah, it's so real. That's why I still do it.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
That's crazy. Okay, who makes the sides for Thanksgiving? Since
you make the turkey?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
My wife and my mom And okay, so this year
my sister was in town, so she helped a little,
but my mom does the stuff in It's just it's
been a recipe in our family for so long that she's.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
It's not the box stuffing.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
No, no, no, you toast like bread.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Every ingredient is.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
You have to toast the bread and then you have
to crumble it in little crumbs and then throw the
prunes in there and chop all the olives or whatever
is in that. I don't I've never learned how to
do that, but they do it like by hand, all.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Of it Wow, do you love the stuffing? Then, since
it's a love it own family recipe.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I love it. Although this year I felt like I'm
not like using the words stuff in, but like I
felt stuffed to where like I didn't want to eat
much after the dinner. After we had like you know,
dinner at two o'clock or whatever Thanksgiving meal, I never
really wanted to eat anything else again for like till

Day really, which I never had seconds, no.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Which is like always like I'm hungry after the football game,
like I'm hungry for some more, And this year I
was just like I'm just I'm stuffed, like.

Don't really want a better eating track late.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
No, maybe it was just like everything was so like
I mean, but you look at your plate, right, it's
like mashed potatoes, all carves, mac and cheese all carves,
stuff in all carves, you know, like the roles all carves.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, what are all of the sides? Because this is
what I've realized is people have different sides. There are
some that are consistent for everybody, but what are your
guys as all your side?

Speaker 3 (06:00):
So when it's my family, it's always green bean casserole,
mashed potatoes, mac, and cheese, and the turkey is the
meal and then uh, cranberry, which I never I don't.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Eat that, okay, okay, so we don't even do a turkey.
We do ham that's crazy, which I don't eat. So
we don't have turkey or gravy.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
And nobody, your mom, your dad, nobody wants it.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
No, they all want ham. It's also easier so it
doesn't require and especially we do it at my house.
I don't have a girl or anything.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Do your sisters eat meat?

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah? Okay, yeah, everybody does, so then we do. We
have a sweet potato castrole. We have a green bean castle.
We have deviled eggs. We have a regular potato casserole,
so not mashed potatoes. We do regular potato crass.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
What's in there?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
It's like hash browns with cheese and sour cream and
it's topped with like crispy flakes. That's good, and they
bake it and then rolls and stuffing. So see how
different are Oh? And corn castrole that's been a new
addition since I've lived in the South.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Corn like corn, yes, have you.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Ever had that?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Never had corn pudding, but I've had cream corn. Is
it the same thing?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
No, okay. So corn pudding is made with like corn
bread and corn and creamed corn never done that, all
mixed together and you bake it. It's also you add
like sour cream and butter and stuff to it.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
That sounds delicious.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yeah, you would love this sounds really good, really popular
in the South. I only knew about it starting like
two or three years ago. Now I make it all
the time.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Yeah, that sounds good.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
We have a lot more sides than you guys do.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Yeah, we're really pretty easy on the sides.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Turkey is your rice is main dish.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Turkeys, I mean turkeys my responsibility. It's been my responsibility
for the last like I don't know, eight years.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Are you waking up at six am to do it?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
When you fry a turkey, it usually takes about an
hour and a half to do it.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Oh that's a lot better than having to cook. I guess.
Typically have to put it in the oven and it
starts like six am and every hour or something.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Yes, and you always want to dribble it with, like
you know, some of the juices or whatever to keep
it moist. Yeah, but like when you fry a turkey,
you don't.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Do any of that it only takes about an hour
a half, so it's quite fun.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Oh yeah, eat, what's cool is putting it in there
and here in the all the bubbles and the sizzling
so good.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
That's what's really fun in general about things doing. Because
I don't know about you, but our oven is like
stuffed full with everything. Everything's just going everywhere and you
have all the smells, a combination of everything.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
That's what my mom was saying. It's like good to
fry turkey because like it leaves the oven for everything else,
because that becomes a thing, right, like a war of
like everyone trying to make sides like I need the oven.
Well I'm not done with the oven.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Yep, that's exactly what happens. You should have seen mine
this year. We made so many that it was like
stuffed on every level. And I'm like, hopefully at all cooks,
we're going to find out that was from Ashley and Louisiana.
Who is your favorite Cowboys player? That's from Paula and Austin.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Like all time, Like I'll let you all time, all
time favorite Dallas Cowboys player for me.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Because I imagine it changes year to year and who you
like on the team.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Oh yeah, I mean I mean now currently, you know,
like you have the players that you like or whatever.
But all time, I think it's hard to beat Emmitt Smith.
That's probably my favorite. He was the running back. Okay,
and he was really good and he still has the
all time rushing record I think season record for like
the most yards. So like he was really good.

Did he play in the nineties.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Okay, he played in the nineties.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
It's still pretty popular. He still does stuff.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Yeah, like he's in commercials still. He won dance on
the Stars.

I believe that's him. Was he don the same time
and Bobby was? Did Bobby? Just who's a football player
that was on?

Wasn't a FOOTBA player or an athlete?

I think that there was. I don't remember. I know
that he met Emmitt Smith because Emtt Smith came back,
you know, like one episode or whatever.

That might be what I'm thinking. Yeah, okay, but you
haven't met him.

I've never met Emma Smith. Oh No, I met ms
Smith last year?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Oh yeah, yeah, because Mike posted a video of him. Yeah,
was it cool? It's amazing, Yes, But he's nice or
worse than nicer.

Nicer than I thought. No, need for him to be nice.
Like football players, I feel like they they don't really
go out of their way to be nice. They don't
like they're just they're athletes and they're good at what
they do. They don't feel I think there are a
few that feel like they need to be kind of
over the top two be nice to their fans or whatever.
But like most of them don't really care, like like me,

hate me, And there's so many critiques of their of
their work where they probably have just like a thick
skin against all their fans that are just like whatever,
man like brush at all. I play for me.

You know, they get a big paycheck. They don't haven't
worry about it.

I play for me and god, you know, Like, but
they don't really don't go out of their way to
be nice. Emma Smith was very nice, Dion Sanders very nice.

Is there any that have been really mean? Can you
say mean? Or just maybe the more so thing is
not warm because not warm doesn't indicate they're mean, it's
just maybe they're not super fan friendly.

I mean, I saw some baseball players back in the day,
like I remember I covered the World Series, like back
when I worked in news, Like two thousand and three,
think and like the baseball players weren't overly friendly, like
they're kind of just whatever. There was one in particular
that played for the Rangers that was not nice, but

he doesn't have that, he didn't have the reputation to
be nice.

Yeah, he was just kind of like easier. Yeah, yeah,
he kind of like yeah, I've expected that from him,

It is a Steeler. But you're not going to expect
this Aaron Rodgers. No, I actually don't like him. I'm
not a fan. I have a lot of critiques about him.

What position does he play? Is the offensive defense?

from the last games that he had played, he had
scored a bunch of touchdowns and nobody expected it.

Are you watching these games? Like, like really watching them?

Yeah? What else am I going to do for three hours?

In? My wife just sits there, she's not really watching

Uh? Did I not do it last year? I've been
looking at signs that like there are signs all over
town that say like Christmas light installation and I want
to be like how much are they?

Probably a lot because there's a lot of money to do.

It, I know, but like it's just so cold, Like
I haven't done it.

Yet, and so wait, didn't you also have a giant
the Santa? Is that up?

No, nothing's out yet.

Nothing's out yet because it's so cold. And like my wife,
my wife wanted to do it last week and I'm
like I just didn't want to because people were there,
were home, but like we had family in town, but
like now it's freezing and I don't want to be
outside like putting up lights because it's so freaking cold.

Yeah, you see this is where you just leave them
up all year round and then you only turn them
on when it's time.

Yeah, well what happens when you plug it in and
they don't turn on? That's happened to me before.

And some little Christmas lights on like the bushes and stuff,
So I do that. But inside for my Christmas trees,
those I always throw away. I don't replace them. All right, Well,

like I can watch them and not.

you just don't like hate them, especially when you're a
fan of another team.

drives me a little crazy, Like you know, that kind
of drives me a little nuts. But like, I don't
mind the Chiefs and they're super Bowl champs, like, and
I don't mind them. I would do that for five million.
Oh it's so hard to say. I feel like a sellout,
But dude, five million, everyone would do that.

your love for the Cowboys, you know what I mean? Yeah,
until you realize, oh, you need a lot of money
to be a human.

because I changed, I changed the NFL teams.

That's so cool. What is your family's favorite Christmas tradition?
We do have Christmas coming up, our.

Favorite Christmas tradition. It's so weird. We always do like
a pickle like my mom. I don't know. My mom
is big on ornaments.

I guess what kind of specific ornaments.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Just anytimes she sees like a cowboys helmet, you know,
she buys it and sends it. That's for your tree,
and like, oh cool, but we have like like there's
something about a traditionally dressed tree right with like the
balls and the matching balls and like the aesthetic.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Tree where it yes, yeah, like certain colors things match.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
But man, my mom loves it that some like send
us Like I think she sent like a bottle of
ranch dressing, like you know what I mean, like hidden
hidden valley ranch dressing bottle and it's like the size
of my hand.

So do you now have another tree that has all
these ornaments on it?

Speaker 3 (17:36):
No, so we have to sprinkle it on them.

You're telling me you guys have one tree?

Yeah? What you have more than one tree? What it's
your house? House?

Like your house anywhere a tree, color's a tree?

Because I love Christmas trees.

I love Christmas, so every room you go into there's
a Christmas tree.

Yeah. It started where it was just the tree in
my living room, which is the normal one, and then
I put I had to buy a new one when
I moved into my house a few years ago because
my small apartment one didn't quite work in that living
room anymore. So I bought one for my bedroom because
l I bought them from the living room, and the
one that used to see my apart one went into
my bedroom. And then this year with my boyfriend moving in,

he had a tree that came with him, but his tree,
his poor trees falling apart, and I was like, that's
gonna go out on the deck and we'll put lights
on it.

It's now an outside tree.

Yeah, yeah, it's a fake one, but it was fun.
I mean, you know when it sorts of shed and
I'm like this, this needs to go outside, we could
still keep it. And then we bought one together for
like our We created a Harry Potter tree that.

Was ours and that's all Harry Potter themes.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Yeah, completely, everything, even like the ornaments are different houses.
And then we got specialty ornaments.

I didn't know this about you.

Oh I love Christmas, but I.

Know that you love Christmas. I didn't know that you
had multiple trees.

Oh yeah, yeah, deck it all out. I haven't got
a Harry Potter train that now goes around the bottom
of the train.

Shoo shut. Oh that's the Harry Potter Harry Potter tree. Amazing.
I'm not going to judge you.

For that, but this is where you usual guys should
have another tree. Even you can put it in one
of the boys rooms. You put it in yours room

Speaker 3 (19:09):
I feel like my wife would love that idea.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
And you could put these ornaments on it, and it's
your mom's tree, and I think your mom would love it.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
All the ornaments go off.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Yeah, it's like this is mom's tree.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
That and then you know when the kids come home
with the crafts or whatever, like macaroni trees or whatever.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Yeah, those caid go on there.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Yeah, all that can go on there. That's not a
bad idea.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
And then you still get to have your aesthetic tree,
but you also have the fun tree.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
So are you all plastic tree.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Artificial or fake ones?

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:37):
We had the reason being is because when I was really,
really young, we had a fake a real tree, and
we had a cat at the time.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
No kill the cat.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
No, that would be horrible. I can tell that story.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
I don't know where the story is going.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
The cat solid ornament because my cat also loves to
play the ornaments on the bottom of my tree and
swam them off. Oh okay, I like to do this
cat her name was Si. She jumped up middle of
the tree, grabbed on with our claws. The whole tree
came down.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
And I think there is something to be said about
real trees because the smell they look about outdoors. Cats
like to climb, yeah, whereas the artificial trees they don't
smell anything, so they're interested, but not like I want
to climb it.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
They don't really know what that is.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
It's like, okay, that's not a tree. No, they'll just
play with the balls that are on instead.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
So that's why I remember when it was like it
was life changing for me when we bought our first
artificial tree.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Because you keep throwing it away.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Yeah, we don't have to go someplace and buy the
You look for trees and then like, oh man, it's
too expensive and then only have it for a month
and then you got to get rid of it somewhere.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah, it's pain to pay like two hundred dollars for
one of those. What a real tree?

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Oh yeah, No, No, they're not cheap. People think they're cheap.
They're not cheap.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
And sink tree casts that you keep it ten years
totally and it's.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Got lights or does yours have lights built in it?

Speaker 2 (20:51):
No, that's one thing I don't do because then they
go bad quicker. I've had my tree for like seven
years now. Yeah, and it's still good because I put
lights on it.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
I think I'm on year four of our tree that
we bought maybe fourth yehs. It still has lights and
still works once in a while they flicker, but like
but they don't go out.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
You know, you had to replace anyone that wood.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
I know, I know, fourth year of it. But like
it was it was so like life changing when that
happened because we always had real trees always. You know,
people love the experience of like, oh, we're gonna go
to the Christmas tree farm or whatever and like or
the parking lot.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Or the tent is and get it, like you get
to pick it out that's about it's not. But back
in the day, I feel like you could cut it down.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
People still do that. People still do that.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
They still cut it down.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
There are farms. Yeah, you can go out and like
cut your own tree. But I'm not again, I'm not.
I'm past that. I won't even let my kids know
that exists because we're done. And so what's cool too,
is we leave all the ornaments on the on the
tree and were put in the box. What yeah, all
we do is just fold up the you know, the limbs,
put in.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
The box and they don't break or anything.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
And then once Christmas time again, you just pull them
out and the ornaments are already on there. Now you'll
lose like five, you know, five or ten ornaments. You
just put them back on.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
That's funny. You don't even take them down. No, oh yeah,
the whole process of taking them down. I put them
all back in. Everybody don't do that. You don't have
to do that. I don't want to lose any ornaments.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
You won't. They'll all be in the box. I don't.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
I don't. I don't think I could do it. My
OCDL would.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
You can't do it.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
It would be like nope, everything's not in its place,
and I have a million boxes.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
It's funny.

Yeah, that's crazy. I didn't know that about you. Yeah, huh, okay,
good Christmas tradition.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Yeah, good stuff.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
You open a restaurant or a food truck. What's the
name and signature dish from ell in Virginia.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
Restaurant or a food truck? Man, I would love to
do chicken. I mean that ideally, I would.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Love to do the chicken.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
It's the producer Eddie Smoked chicken man. Gosh, I would
love that. And then like yeah, like.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I would producer Eddie Smoker taking a just Eddie's.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
No producer Eddie, Like yeah, I've already got a follow
in like I already.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Gotta Yeah, but then they still know Eddie.

Yeah, but there are millions of it. There's only one
producer ready.

But there's there are.

There are actually a couple of like directors in India.
There's like a famous director from India named Eddie and
gets producer Eddie. Yeah. I don't know if he's a
I guess he's a producer. Yeah. There are music producers
that are named Eddie. And I always get d ms
of people thinking that like I'm a producers music, movies,
no music, and so they're like, chick out my beats man,

maybe you can do something. I'm like, yeah, not that
kind of producer and probably not.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
You have nothing. You have some about music, but not
really and.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Say, yeah, I think on my on my bio it
says like I play music, So maybe that's it.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
That's probably why.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
But yeah, I'd go producer ready smoked chicken man, and
that would be my truck and chickens. It could be pieces,
it could be you know, quarters, or.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Would you do chicken sandwiches, chicken pizza.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
Should do all that too, base sit all around chicken, okay,
but it's gotta be smoke chicken. And what I love
about that is that the smoker will be going outside
the truck at all times, so people just smell the
smoke and they're like, oh, we need to try that.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Smells a big enticing of places, big time.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
There's a place in town that sells barbecue and it
said it has a sign on it and it's just
like a little trailer.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
I know exactly what you're talking about, you don't, Yeah,
is it in Germantown or like North Nashville. I guess.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
No, no it's not.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Oh, then there's two of these places.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Is it got like a little picture of a pig
on it? Yeah it does. Yeah, maybe it is Germantown.
Does it say if we're smoking, we're open.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Yeah, it's the same one with this giant like round
smoker that sits out there. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Yeah, okay, maybe it is the same one.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
I drive all the time, you.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Know what's crazy about it? Though? Never seen it open.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
No, they're always smoking, which means they're open.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
True, So maybe you go with the hours. A wa.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Wait, so you drive by and you just see the
barbecue bit out there, it's never smoking.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Well that's either at least twenty times.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
So my son, he plays basketball, there's like a practice
facility there around in that neighborhood, and we drive by
all the time, and we always joke like you want
a turkey lag because they got a big picture of
a turkey leg up there too.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Have you ever stopped?

Speaker 1 (25:15):
Never?

Speaker 3 (25:15):
And he's always like, Dad, one day we have to stop.
But we're always like rushing, you know.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Isn't that funny? I feel like there's always a place
like if I think about my routes or day to
day that I drive, I'll always see something and it'll
be one particular place and I still haven't gone, but
it's always on my mind every time I drive by.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
You should do it. I did it one time. For
what We always drive by a place called Bangkokville Chinese
Food Tie because Bangkok's tie. Yeah, that makes sense sense
and so, and I've always been like, I don't know,
like it just looks good. Yeah, you know, maybe someday
I'll try it. And then one day we're like, let's go,

(25:51):
let's do it. Let's try Bangkokville.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Was it because you're driving mind, you had the time,
or you actually specifically? No?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
No, no, we were just like, let's get somebody, let's
go out to eat some where. And I said, I've
always wanted to try this place.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Was it good?

Speaker 3 (26:03):
It was delicious? It was really good. Interesting, interesting experience though,
So this is kind of funny. The server comes up
and to take our order and she's like mmmm mmmmmm
mmmm and she makes like the sign of the drink
like yeah, I drink order. I'm like, oh, maybe she's

(26:24):
like mute or something. Yeah, she can't talk for whatever reason.
And so we were like, okay, I'll take just water
and then you know, like we'll get a coke and
we're pointing out the drinks on the menu and all that,
and then she's like mm mmmm, and then she like
goes in like gets her drinks, and then she comes
back with our drinks and she's like, okay, so if

(26:45):
you guys are ready to order, like I'm ready to
take the order. And we were like what the like
what what is happening? Like she literally was just like
deaf mute, and now she's just talking. And then she
find I only realized that all our faces were very confused,
and she goes, oh, I didn't explain. I had numbing

(27:06):
mouthwash in my mouth and I couldn't spit it out,
and so that's kind.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Of why was she doing that at the cash register.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
I don't know. And we're all like, okay, all right,
but other than that, the food was delicious.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Like thanks for explaining, but I'm not more confused than
I was before.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
We were just so confused because she was like couldn't
talk one time and it comes back it's like, yeah,
what do you guys want? I recommend this dish.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
