Speaker 1 (00:02):
Bobbittinglisca.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Welcome to Friday show. We got a big one morning
studio Morning. It's anonymous sin by Anonymous Sinbone.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
A question to.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Ben, Hello, Bobby Bones. My friend is having a destination
wedding and it's costing me and my boyfriend a ton
just to get there. Because of that, I don't want
to get a gift. Is it in bad taste to
tell a friend who is having a destination wedding that
(00:47):
you can come to the wedding, but you won't be
able to give them a gift? Bobby, what would you
expect as a gift from friends if you had a
destination wedding signed traveling abroad for a wedding? So I
I have a hot take on destination weddings that are
just weddings in general. People don't realize when you don't
get them gifts.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
Oh yeah, that's not gonna say. Just don't tell them.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, it's a it doesn't matter what wedding it is,
destination wedding, normal wedding. If like, you're like, I don't
want to get them a gift. I can't afford to
get them a gift. I don't know what to get them.
Maybe I'll do it. They're never going to notice if
you don't tell them that you didn't do it. It's
like somebody who gets on social media to go, hey everybody,
I'm gonna take a break from social media for a while,
and I know you're used to seeing me post. Nope,
(01:31):
we don't notice when you don't post. Or it's like
I'm back on social media after a month, just be back.
We don't notice when you don't post. We're not gonna
notice when you don't buy us a gift if it's
somebody very very close, if you're liking that upper upper tier.
But also now let's just go to the destination wedding thing.
If I'm making people pay to get to my wedding,
I have a much less expectation of what they're gonna
(01:53):
get as a gift anyway.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
For sure.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Actually, if you're paying for your own I think I'm
gonna write, don't worry about a gift. Just you paying
to get out here. That's gift alone. So I'm on
your side. I don't think you tell them I'm not
going to get you a gift. Just don't get them
a gift.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
But it's slide.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
They're not gonna notice. There will be fewer people at
the wedding because it is destination wedding.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
So when they are doing thank you notes, they possibly
could know, they possibly can.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Go, you know, never got me anything, But they're not
going to care. Yeah, they're not gonna care.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
So and if they do, that's weird.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, then they're not even worth traveling for a destination
wedding for to begin with. No need to get them
a gift. If for any reason it feels uncomfortable to
get them a gift, they're.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Not going to notice, and no need to disclose it.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
And no need to disclose. And you're taking a break
from social media, we don't notice.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
Or what about when you're coming back.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Again, We didn't notice. There you go, thank you. Closing
up these Bobby Bones.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
You're celebrating with America two fifteen.
Speaker 2 (02:48):

the board. What's the best thing about America? Amy?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Free speech, No.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Some people when they speaking of our countries, they go
to jail.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
And free speech is speaking out against your government. That's
what free speech is. You can't just go whatever. But yes,
but free speech.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
Does not make it lunchbox freedom, show me freedom?
Speaker 2 (03:21):

Speaker 4 (03:23):

Speaker 2 (03:32):
I'm gonna give you free speech on it.
Speaker 7 (03:34):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Whatever you want to say.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
I can say whatever. You're not gonna cumpany.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Freedom is number one lunchbox football, Football, show me football. Sports. Okay, yeah,
we'll get you sports. Come out then number four Sports.
What was freedom? Number one? I got five points. We
(04:00):
have two thousand Bobby Bone Show listeners on social media.
What's the best thing about America? Lunchbox?
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Mm hm?
Speaker 6 (04:08):
What is it great about America? Besides that? Oh you're struggling?
Anything else?
Speaker 8 (04:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Maybe protest that dude, I love America. I can't think anything.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
Well, I don't know what I'm trying to think. What
category you could put in? Everything about America is amazing.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Barbecue, all right, show me barbecue American food. Barbecue six.
Don't get mad at me. I don't hate the player.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
I don't think getting rid of stuff.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Based on I'm with you ready, because I sound like
a little lunchbox hate to me and I want to have.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
Because that takes away food.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, I have like food specific bank go ahead, Oh yeah,
yes I didn't.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Ye know. What's the best thing about America?
Speaker 6 (04:56):
Our television program TV ME TV shows.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Eddie over to us, Freedom, sports, and American food off
the list?
Speaker 9 (05:07):
Oh man, how serious do we want to get? Like
do we want to get with like a financial stability
or our ability to vote?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
I mean, let's go with yeah, yeah, yeah, let's go.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
With our ability to vote. Voting.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
That's pretty awesome.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Okay, shume, Oh boy, show me voting. Democracy is on here?
Speaker 8 (05:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Democracy?
Speaker 6 (05:39):
What I meant, well, every day was pretty like that's
why I was democracy.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Okay, you know what else?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Bones?
Speaker 9 (05:47):
Our military man, the strongest military in the world.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Show me the military number two? Answer that's correct and
the smartest and best looking. That's right, Bones, give.
Speaker 9 (05:58):
Me you know what I'm gonna my o g financial stability?
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Money?
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Baby, what do you mean? Are we rich here? Look around?
What they say? Well, you guys are pretty rich. Were
not in the room? Amy over to you? We're looking
at the best things about America.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Gosh, I'm trying to think of, Like truth, I haven't
never been here, but is it the Grand Canyon.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
That's one of the best things about America, like.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
The beauty of the travel.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Give me the Grand Canyon, the land or nature. I'll
accept it.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Okay, thank you, the land or nature?
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Good cover. How about oxygen, Well, I'll give it to you.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
You can breathe here.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Four answers left off the board, freedom, the military, democracy, sports,
American food, and the land or nature. Education showed it's
not gonna We're getting on a bus some countries. We're
getting Oh yeah, lunchbox, got anything left? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (07:10):
I got something left, and I don't even know how
to get you encompass this. It's called the American dream,
the American dream, the ability, opportunity, the opportunity, the American
dream to chase it.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
That is opportunity. Give me the American dream. I like
what you're selling, though, I'll buy some of that too.
Good self, Eddie work round two here, oh Man two
thousand Bobby Bunche Listeners were asked, what's the best thing
about America?
Speaker 9 (07:38):
You know what it is, bones, I got it. The
best thing about America country.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Music points double points, country music, Show me country music yeah,
number seven country music.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, I love America. And then you know what I mean.
It's hard to say Hollywood, but let's just do it. Movies.
I think American movies are the best.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Show me movie. All right, all right, all right, Mike
Amy points are double three answers on the board. Oh,
she's top of the ring.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Okay, yeah, Mike Green Canyon.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
That was a double got it?
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Wait? HiT's your score as that Mike keeps a score.
I know Eddi's in the lead. Nineteen Amy eighteen. Lunchbox
left the.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
Movies, but I mean, our TV has got like Hollywood
could work. But I feel like you would have just
wropped that in with the movies, obviously, So let's go with.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Fashion.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Fashion. George didn't make the list cut off. Yeah, Lunchbox,
you need one here to stay alive. Although if you
get any you take the lead. Yeah, I understand that.
I just have nothing, nothing. I have no idea think
about America. Best thing about America. I love America.
Speaker 6 (09:00):
I love being able to vote, but we already got democracy.
I love being able to choose what I do. That's freedom,
and it wasn't chasing the American dreams right now.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
Stalling.
Speaker 6 (09:16):
Yeah, it's called filibuster amy because you got to think
of something. We'll go with healthcare. Oh that's the one.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
I knew it wasn't but I have no I literally
have no idea, and.
Speaker 9 (09:31):
You shot yeah, I'm that best national anthem.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
In the world, best national anthem. Although I agree that's incredible.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Okay, is it open now? Just just one oh Amazon.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Amazon, our railroad system, right, I have no Apple? Yeah,
Meta the Rock, Yes, the Rock. At number five to
fourth of July.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
I thought that was a given.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Yeah, all about it. Fire Wars is out a government
at number eight, different from sports, specifically Super Bowl Sunday
off the day. And then at number ten pickup trucks.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Trucks, big old trucks.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Our winner. Come on, I guess loves America more than
anybody else. Yes, I love America, you know, and you
deservedly get to say that because you won the game.
Who finished last? Lunchbox hates Mary? Oh my god? Wow,
you know he gets kicked out of America. He lost.
Here comes Ice that kick in the door. Sorry, you
gotta go.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Wow, it's Bobby Bones celebrating America.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
To fifteen. It's time for the good news, which Bobby
as a birthday present, Wendy in Ohio got a bouquet,
but not flowers. It was sixty Ohio lottery tickets, and
so she got it. She's a little scratched. They were
all two dollars tickets, so one hundred and twenty dollars
(11:04):
spent on the lottery tickets in total two bucks each.
Do the math she had for twenty thousand dollars. Wow,
that's awesome, that's pretty cool. Wendy says. She immediately freaked out,
and she wasn't with the friends when she was scratching
them because there were sixties. She's not gonna sit and
scratch in front of everybody. So she took him home
and scratched him and then called everybody, was like, I
(11:24):
want twenty dollars. You got a double check that like,
that's awesome. That's from people. Good story. That is what
it's all about. That was telling me something good. Fun
fact I'll go first, maybe not so fun, but fascinating.
Elephants grow six different sets of teeth in their lives.
(11:44):
Once the sixth ones fall out, the elephants are then
done and they die of starvation. That's all because they
can't six sets of teeth. I just have a broken
to that have fixed you lout, maybe an elephant. We
have dentists. Oh so we.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Don't have to die, thankfully, and you can eat.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
With your gums. No teeth. Keys doesn't have teeth, aren't
pro but it still it sucks. It cuts my tongue
all the time when I'm talking. Oh, broken tooth, but yeah,
they just die of starvation. You would think a wildlife
dentist would see and then go and put some fake
ones in there for dentures. Yeah, am, you're up.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
So do you know the first email that was ever sent?
Like what it said?
Speaker 5 (12:22):
You would think maybe if they're testing out, like is
this going to go through? And like this will be
the first email cent ever, there would be something like.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I got it, you.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
Know, like some sort of like something profound, but no is.
In nineteen seventy one, a computer engineer named Ray Tomilson.
He said the first ever email between two computers and
he just typed real quick to see if it would
go through. So the first email ever is q W
E R T y U IOP.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
That makes sense to be doing one to himself to
the other. You're just sending a text to see if
it goes through or an email that makes sense, but
you just.
Speaker 5 (12:56):
Like think, like, what if this is the first one
it could it's like goes.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Down in his I would just not share that. When
I do a second one and be like one small
step for man, something really poignant and be like this
was the first one ever sent. I probably lie about it.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
Then, Lunchbox, this one's gonna blow your mind. The national anthem,
the Star Spangled banner.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah we're familiar. Francis scott Key is a dude. Oh
my god, are you everyone You're not serious.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
Everyone knows you're not serious.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
I am you dead serious. I had no idea.
Speaker 9 (13:32):
Shout out, did you not have a fun facts?
Speaker 6 (13:38):
Frances is a girl's name, and I literally my six
year old was talking about it. He goes something about, oh,
I know how that song was written. There was a
guy on a boat, and I'm like, no, no, no,
a woman wrote it and I looked it up and
it is a dude.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I had no idea for taller listeners out there who
think sometimes we do bits and we make Lunchbox says
stupid things. I promise you, we don't. I promise you
we did not say. Here's what we're gonna do in
the next segment, Lunchbox, You're gonna get on and act
like you thought Francis scott Key was a woman. That
that did not. They also don't have four O one K.
There are all these things that listeners think that I
(14:13):
make you guys say, I don't. I did not put
Lunchbox up to this. Yeah, yeah, we all knew that.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
You hear the name Francis, you think dude, that's a
chick name.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
I think we were just taught through school that Francis
scott Key was a dude. I don't think we ever
talked about a gender.
Speaker 6 (14:29):
When you talk, you just say Francis scott Key wrote
the national anthem. There's nothing about there was a dude
on a boat, so it was just Francis scott Key.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
So I hear Francis, and I, for my life thought
it was a woman. I think he was a lawyer too.
Oh really, I think so there you go. That is
your fun fact. I think the most fun fact was
the Lunchbox didn't know Francis scott Key was a dude.
Did everybody know that? Am I just assuming? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (14:54):
I don't know how I knew it because I like
is saying, I don't know if I learned it in school,
but I knew he was a guy.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Hey, Ray, did you know Francis scott Key was a dude,
now that I think of it, Yes, yes I did,
and now that he thinks of it.
Speaker 6 (15:06):
But if you would have asked him, he would have
Maybe he would.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Have wait wait, well, he wouldn't have thought about it
unless you told him to think about it.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
I think that if we had gone around the room
and said is Francis scott Key male or female? Everybody
in here would have said male, except for now we
know you wouldn't, huh.
Speaker 10 (15:19):
I think I would have said woman, thank you.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
That I think I would have said, thank you for
being honest. But yes, you want us to applaud you now.
Speaker 6 (15:27):
No, No, but I'm saying, when you hear Francis, you
think woman.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
That's a woman's name. Yeah, but I guess it was
always he wrote The Star Spangled By, I.
Speaker 9 (15:36):
Don't know, And honestly to his point, like, I don't
know if anyone ever taught us that.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
I don't remember learning much about the hope Francis think
she's a girl. No, it's a dude, you know, because
it's a pope. You know it's a dude, right, I'm
just saying. Francis is always a girl name. Yours was
named after a saint. I don't know what their named after.
I just know he's a pope, So I know it's
a dude. This I never knew. Okay, what about Francis
fort Coppola, who's that director? Very famous? Okay, never thought
(16:01):
about that person. Well now you have, like as Ray
would say, I never thought about it, but now you're
thinking about it. Okay, Morgan, what do you have?
Speaker 10 (16:06):
Yeah, So Matt Damon he turned down the lead role
in Avatar, and had he not, because he would have
gotten ten percent of the film's box office profits. He
would have made over two hundred and fifty million dollars.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
It's nice.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
I mean, he's good.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
That guy that was, I don't know who that is.
They played the lead n Avatar. I'm sure he didn't
get ten percent of the box office. I'm sure that
was offered to Damion because it was a bigger but
he kind of looks like him Sam Worthington like. They
probably tried to cast a Matt Damon similarly looking dude
after they couldn't get Matt Damon Sam was good, but
dang two hundred fifty million. He did one to the
glasses to that movie, oh three glasses because that deput
(16:46):
him over my real glasses. I'm blind, Eddie.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
See.
Speaker 9 (16:49):
You know when you buy a car or whatever, and
they're just like, oh, this car has two hundred horse power,
it's automatic.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Yeah, it's problematic.
Speaker 9 (16:56):
So I don't know about you guys, but I always
thought like, all right, two hundred horsepower. That means that
they're imagine two hundred horses pooling your car, like that's
what it is.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
It's not true.
Speaker 9 (17:07):
One horsepower in a car is not the same as
the power of one real horse.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
I didn't know this.
Speaker 9 (17:12):
Keep going, Yes, so one real horse actually has the
power of twenty four horsepower. So huh, the horse is
much faster than what people say that engine is.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
So a horse power is twenty four horses, No, twenty
four horses is one horsepower?
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, twenty four horses is one horsepower?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Correct? Wow?
Speaker 9 (17:34):
Yeah, yeah, So it's just been a I don't know,
I've just always imagined like.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
All right, two d horse power, it's forty horses.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
It's not true at all.
Speaker 9 (17:43):
It's a unit of power that some scientists came up
a long time ago to make to make it sound
faster than it really is.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
You're exactly right, just looked it up. I didn't know
this a unit of power equal to five hundred and
fifty foot pounds per second. That's what horsepower is. It's
not really based on the horse. They just use that
term correct to make you think like, whoa, this is
super fast. It's greasy. Like I didn't know that dolphins
have romances where two or three males may pair up
(18:10):
for decades and help each other hook up with females.
That's awesome. That's cool.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
That's so cool, like wingman.
Speaker 9 (18:16):
Yeah, yeah, maybe even like the grenade.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Well that's if you meet two females them, yeah, maybe
one of them like falls on the grenade mande.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
That's cool that dolphins do that.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Yeah, all right, there you go. That's fun. Fact Friday,
we were talking about weddings earlier. I want to play
this TikTok from meg Elise hit that is it.
Speaker 7 (18:45):
Considered rude to invite someone to your bridal shower but
not to your wedding. That once happened to me and
I was just like, hmm, not invite them to the
wedding because you can't afford them in your budget. But
go ahead and send them an invite to the shower
so they can bring a gift.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
That's weird.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
That's weird. Yeah, I don't think you should do that,
because what you're saying is you don't actually make the cut,
the real cut, but you make the cut enough that
I'd like a gift from you.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
The only way I can make this make sense in
my mind, how I would justify it is if I
am having a very small family only wedding, like that's it, parents, siblings, whatever,
But then my friends want to just throw me a
bridle shower and they invited a big friend group.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
That is the only way this makes sense. That's it.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Yeah, And I would say most weddings aren't that.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Yeah, but that's how you make this make sense.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
So if you did this, cancel everybody else coming and
only have your family there, otherwise you.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Look like a bad person exactly.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yeah, I would say generally, no, don't do that.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
You know, it's like a bad person.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
You're greedy though, yeah, eh, gang pretty bad. Yeah. There's
another story of a woman who makes our friends sign
NDA's before they start the backs.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Rat party thoughts, Well, what it is about to go down?
Speaker 2 (19:54):
I know I think that too. I'm like, I want
to see that it's gonna be careerzy. I want to
get some eyes on that one.
Speaker 5 (19:59):
I don't want to us out on it. But then
I also want to be able to talk about it.
Speaker 9 (20:04):
So but if you go, like, if you sign an
NDA like it's going to be awesome, it's.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Gonna be so awesome you can't even talk about it.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
Or somebody's gonna die. It's really bad.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
What if you see things you can't unsee?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
I mean, all of that is at risk if you're
signing an NDIA to go to a party.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
Right, Because I don't want to be like my eyes.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
If a guy friend of mine was having a I've
never been to a bachelor party. I don't think I
mean your own. No, I'm talking about I never got
invited to one because they would like go to the
like club, the shrip club, so I don't go to that. Also,
maybe I'm just not fun to have places I've never
been invited to one. I'm getting sad now.
Speaker 9 (20:41):
Well, I got married before I knew you, really, so
not really you did?
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Yeah, but did you have a bachelor party.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Me, Yeah, yeah, of course.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
Hey I Hey, let me say, if we could have
signed an.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
NBA, we probably should have. If if a dude was like, hey,
you're going to my bachelor party, you have to sign
an NDIA, I'm like, oh, you're about to hire. It's
about to get dirty. If dudes were doing it right
with women, probably the same, But well, how dirty does
it get with women? I don't know.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
I have not been to anything dirty, but I'm sure
with some people it could get interesting.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
India's are weird?
Speaker 5 (21:15):
Is it maybe? Is it to protect like you're about
to do something so special and amazing and awesome and
you don't want people bragging about it?
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Oh no, no, no, no, you won't be able to that crab.
You could go like no phones. I've seen that before
where dudes are like no phones doing NDA.
Speaker 9 (21:28):
And how stupid would it be like to sign an
NDA and then nothing happens.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
You're like, what the why do we see it? Trick
to India? By the way, it's a non disclosure agreement
that you can't if you sign it, you can't talk
about what you did to anybody.
Speaker 5 (21:39):
What if they're having like someone famous pop by and
they need the day.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Well, I don't know if he's doing anything, but it's.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
More of like, oh uh, NDA's that's weird.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Yeah it is here.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
This is a story, but wedding crasher stealing sixty thousand
dollars in gifts here you go hit it.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
As security cameras captured a wedding crush or stealing tens
of thousands of dollars in gifts intended for the bride
and groom. Georgia Nadine Faraha's celebration ground to a halt
when the unwanted guests ran off with their gift box
full of presents in cash.
Speaker 5 (22:11):
I ended up sitting on the dance floor sobbing with
my friends and cousins around me.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
The couple estimates of the thieves made off with about
sixty thousand dollars. Blendale police are now investigating, and the
couple is offering a five thousand dollar reward for tips
that lead to an arrest man.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
That's so bold. Yeah, that's from ABC News, And they
talked a bit more about how the guy blended in
with the wedding guests.
Speaker 11 (22:32):
The video shows the man here trying to blend in
bypassing by family members strolling casually to the bathroom, even
bellying up to the bar for a drink.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
He was grabbing a drink at the bar, he was
mingling with guests, he was greeting people, who's opening the door,
all of this.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
Looking back at it now, it's just so scary just
to see.
Speaker 11 (22:50):
Eventually grabs the box loaded with congratulation cards and money,
runs no sprints down a hallway to an alley where
a getaway vehicle pulls up, like he.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Was going hard to be an extra friendly. They go,
here's some audio, and it's some walking around going nothing
to see. Uh weird. Sixty thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
That's some nice friends.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
And once you got the box or it's a lot
of friends, think.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
About your wedding. Do you think he would have spotted
a wedding crasher at your wedding?
Speaker 2 (23:21):
No, because I didn't know some people my wife had
there from like back in the day, like her like
travel softball team friends were there and I was like, hey,
how's it going. I don't know you, and I wouldn't
recognize him now even after I met him once. So yeah,
that'd be tough because we had like three hundred people
at ours.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Yeah, I feel like most people wouldn't recognize a.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
This guy was wanning hard though, Welcome to the wedding
at the bar, love to see you, drinks on me.
He's like the guy if you were like, hey, I
met a guy named Chris. He was awesome. Who knows him?
That's the guy that stole all this stuff. Wedding crashers
fun movie bold bold bold like respect, but no respect
because she stole stuff. But like, if you're just crashing
(24:01):
a wedding to like see again bold, I respect. That
takes some real nat. That takes the NASA to do that. Yeah.
I always felt weird going to a wedding, Like there
would be listeners be like, hey, if you're you're in
town doing a show, come by the wedding. I did
that a couple of times, and it was expected. I
even felt we're just going like hey, I'm here because
I got a DM on Instagram they wanted me to come.
(24:21):
I felt we're doing that. I would feel so awkward
crashing away. I won't even sit in a concert seat.
It's not mine. Three rows up because I'm like, oh,
oh this doesn't feel right.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Yea, what if they come?
Speaker 2 (24:31):
I can't enjoy this.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Now when they come you exactly, Oh, I guess I didn't.
Speaker 11 (24:36):
I don't do that very well, celebrating America to fifty show.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
It's time for the good news much box.
Speaker 6 (24:48):
Inner Mountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah came up with
this thing called Step for a Cause, and they said
for every fifty miles walked, they'll donate a pair of
shoes to a kid in need. So the community rallied
together and they walked more than twenty six thousand miles
to get four hundred.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
And seventy five pairs of shoes for kids. It's a
lot of walking. They're walking a circle now, dude. They
walked straight line. They went from here to Antarctica.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Right coast them back. I mean they could.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
They can be track. They on a track in a mountain,
you know, wherever they want to go. Kid, you'd run
for a coross Oh yeah, that's cool. Or walk? Oh
you jump rope? I never jump up for a heart.
They still do it. You guys do that last week
it now, I mean, shout out. That's awesome. Good for
you guys. Yes, cool. What's the town called. It's Murray, Utah.
(25:37):
Inner Mountain Medical Center. Step for a Call it's awesome.
Good story. That is what it's all about. That was
telling me something good. Wake up, wake up in the
morn and the turn the radio. There ready lunchbox, more

So you knowing this the Bobby ball. Now time for
the Morning Corny, The Morning Corny.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
What kind of car would Jesus drive?
Speaker 8 (26:25):
Mm hmm, think about this for a little bit. Roll
a crucis water wine, a holy car. And no, that's
too easy. This isn't I remember, we're thinking about it.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
I just I know, I'm just thinking about it, warming
up my brain. Ross what a Crossler.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
That's good?
Speaker 2 (26:50):
A Crossler Crosser dodgey Bram.
Speaker 5 (26:55):
I mean you're yeah, but but it's more how you
would say it.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
But it's just the emphasis. Christler Chrystler.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Oh oh no, it was easier. Yall was wrong, So
Crossler not same? I missed it.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
Yeah, but Chrysler Chrystler. Yeah, Chrysler.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
That's pretty good. That was the morning Corny. We got
crazy deals. That is Jesus, Christler gezam Cher, Happy Independence Day,
it's the Bobby Bone Show Heavy Fourth of July.
Speaker 3 (27:26):

Speaker 12 (27:27):
I wanted to tell you about the time me and
my brothers had a drinking competition on the fourth of
July that ended up with two of them face down
in the yard. And I said two of them because
it wasn't me. Yes, Baby, Bobby.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Bone Show, Happy Fourth of July, Bobby Bone Showdry up
to day.
Speaker 6 (27:45):
This story comes up from Wallbridge, Ohio. A couple went
on a little date on a Friday night. They go
out to dinner and they come home and their truck
door is open. They're like, oh, someone broke in. So
they called nine one one saying, hey, someone broke into
our truck, worried they may be in our house. An
officer shows up and he gets out of the car.
They're like I hell yeah, and they're like what and
(28:08):
he's a high help you.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Oh, he'd been drinking the car.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:13):
So they had to call nine one one again and say, hey,
we had our truck broken into, and now you send
us a cop that's drunk.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
That's crazy.
Speaker 6 (28:22):
Okay, I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
And he continues to get paid for her movie, the
one that she did two years ago, Christmas movie.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
Yeah, you just got another check and it's not even
Christmas time, so I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Well, they don't just send you checks at Christmas because
you did a Christmas movie.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Well, I know the viewings go up around Christmas time.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
So that would be why you're getting paid now. It takes
that long to process.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
No, I've got I got checks earlier this year.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Yeah, I believe you.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Okay, what do they pay you, like quarterly?
Speaker 2 (28:49):
Yeah? Problem.
Speaker 5 (28:50):
I don't know. I just feel like checks come random, right,
They're just real random. Yeah, And sometimes it'll say, like
foreign screenings, I'm like, where did you air this.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Japan found festival? I saw you got twenty minutes standing
ovation you won't even see it.
Speaker 5 (29:04):
So, I mean, I just feel like this is going
to be for the rest of my life.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
They go down significantly, unless it like catches all fluctuate,
because they still go way down.
Speaker 5 (29:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
Is it a letter in the mail?
Speaker 5 (29:14):
Yes, it comes in the mail and I get a
pay stub and then the check and I you know
you you tear it and sign the back.
Speaker 9 (29:20):
Does this happens that happened to Tom Hanks, Like, does
he go to the mill all the time?
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Nothing from.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Yeah, and Warner Brothers or something.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Is it like.
Speaker 6 (29:30):
Chartered mail or like what do you call it a
certified mail?
Speaker 5 (29:33):
No, it's signed for it comes in the mail.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
And how much was the check?
Speaker 5 (29:37):
Forty seven dollars fifty two cents?
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Wow, that's good anyway, Thank you for sharing that with U. Yeah,
I know money's a tough topic. Sometimes I don't know.
Speaker 5 (29:44):
It's just kind of fun and then it's a reminder
I was in a movie.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Do you ever go back and watch your part?
Speaker 5 (29:49):
No, that was cringe for me. First time we watched it.
I watched it at my best friend from high schools
house because she had us over for Thanksgiving because it
came out like Thanksgiving that year, whatever year it was
a few years ago, Go and my kids and I
flew to Austin, had Thanksgiving her house and her family.
We all gathered around, We're watching it, and then my
kids could not stop dying laughing that my big film
(30:09):
debut was a bathroom scene. And so just like cringe.
I just pictured them like laughing and like, well.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
If listens will put it on repeat and they go
to work.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
Money get you another check.
