Speaker 1 (00:01):
Get your bones on it's the bobby bone.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Show okay raymundo has a big announcement about our cruise
coming up in march what is this drum roll no
no okay you guys need to check your passports because
apparently if they're going to expire within six months of
you going they can just straight shut you down at
the port you don't even get to go Oh, that's
(00:24):
an announcement. Oh, that's a warning. A PSA.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yeah, so it's not the exact date on your passport.
They do have the ability to be like, ah, I
don't know if they're going to come back within six months.
Maybe we should question this passport.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Oh, really?
Speaker 4 (00:35):
That's why?
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I would think so. Oh, you're making that up.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, I mean, then people would just leave right around
the expiration and stay in another country and they'd be
good to go.
Speaker 5 (00:43):
I don't think it works like that. Like, you're not
just good to go if you stay there.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Right, I know.
Speaker 6 (00:49):
Yeah, because you would need like a visa.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
But you'd be able to board and do all that
stuff with passport that by date says it's okay.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Hold on.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
So is this real?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
No, no, this is legit. I watched it with Brittany
Aldean one time.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Her kids almost weren't able to go on one of
their tropical vacations because their passports expired within six months.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
And my Eric Dodd's best.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Friends, they couldn't go on their honeymoon.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
No, this is a bunch of.
Speaker 5 (01:13):
No, they couldn't.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Eric Dodd's best friends.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
My cousin's buddy's mailman.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
They were unable to go And consummate the marriage because
on their honeymoon, because their passports expired within six months.
So definitely something to look into. Did you know our
baby has to have a passport?
Speaker 7 (01:30):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Baby's not going on the cruise, but we have to
get her a passport.
Speaker 8 (01:33):
Really?
Speaker 5 (01:33):
Yeah. What's it going to do out there?
Speaker 1 (01:36):
But to leave the country, it's still a U.S.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
Citizen.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:39):
Okay. I guess so. It just seems like.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
It's like being transporting babies back and forth with no documents.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah. I guess that makes sense. That would be.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
The living thing.
Speaker 8 (01:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
I thought it was odd that you have to get
one as a baby baby because they're good for 10 years.
You're a nine-year-old. How do you know that baby matches?
Speaker 6 (01:55):
I know. That's what, I mean, when Stevenson first got here,
he's seven in his passport, and when he travels now,
he's 16. He looks very different.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
And the baby has a passport picture?
Speaker 2 (02:09):
We haven't taken it yet.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
Yeah, but it would just have a little, like.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yeah, we just hold it up, I guess.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Right.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, no, I thought it was weird, but it makes
sense because you can't just be taking babies... Everywhere.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
So the cruise is going to be on us before
we know it.
Speaker 8 (02:22):
I know.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
I can't wait.
Speaker 6 (02:23):
Well, let's not rush things.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
What do you mean?
Speaker 6 (02:26):
Because we've got Christmas.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
No, you've got to look forward to this.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
It's also not going to make it move faster or
slower because we're talking about it.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
I think it does. Like sometimes I'll just, if I'm
going to.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
You think it moves faster because we're talking about it.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, I think. Like 100%.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (02:40):
I want to be in the, like I want to
look forward to it. To your point, Eddie, absolutely. I'm
looking forward to it. It's just like, yeah, I don't
like to think about that it's going to be here
in the blink of an eye because it will be.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, March 7th.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
I can't wait. Like that cigar I got in Key West.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Basically tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (02:58):
So am I going to be turning 46 at sea?
How long are we out there?
Speaker 1 (03:02):
A week.
Speaker 6 (03:03):
A week.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Is that during your birthday? Celebration.
Speaker 6 (03:07):
I guess we'll be back.
Speaker 7 (03:08):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
What, did you think we were staying out there the
whole month?
Speaker 6 (03:11):
I was thinking 7 plus 7 is 18, but it's
14 now.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
No, 7 plus 7. Oh, okay, got it. I know.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
I know.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Okay, so if you guys want to come on the
cruise with us, though, topshelfcountrycruise.com. It's going to be great.
And get your passport, because apparently if you have six
months out, they're going to shut you down. Throw you
in passport prison.
Speaker 6 (03:28):
I'm reading a book right now and one of the
characters ordered a lychee martini in the book and I kind.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Of threw up.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
You gagged while you read it?
Speaker 6 (03:34):
I'm like, don't do it, don't do it. And I'm like, oh,
this is fiction.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
No, no, they were just having one, Amy. You had
more than one.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Way more than one. Eddie said I almost killed someone
in my car.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
That's what I hear. Word on the street.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
I never saw them.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
Who was talking about them?
Speaker 5 (03:51):
But you know what? You're not to blame here.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
There's no way. I want to hear the story first.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
So they said that they were walking right kind of
where the garage exit is. And they said they saw
you come in and they had to jump out of
the way because you almost hit them.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
That just wouldn't have been true.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Coworker.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Because I would have seen them if they had to
jump out of the way. Also, you have to stop there.
You have to stop there.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
You do have to stop, but it's heavy foot traffic,
and there's a car. There's another exit to the right
of us. Two cars coming out at the same time.
From another garage.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
And then there's construction.
Speaker 9 (04:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
There's a lot going on down there.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
So much so that I stop very early to make
sure I don't hit somebody. I think these people just want,
they're just click bait.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
I mean, they just kind of said like, oh, you know,
Bobby almost hit me yesterday.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I would have seen someone have almost hit them.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
And I almost hit one of our salespeople like walking. No,
he was jogging. I guess he lives in the building, too.
And so I literally had to, like, slam on the brakes.
And he looked at me like, dude.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
At that same point, you should always stop right there.
Speaker 9 (04:55):
That's what I told you months ago that Eddie comes
flying down that ramp. I told you Eddie is an
unsafe driver coming down that ramp. And boom, guys, that's
the point.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
That's not it. There are five blind spots there.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
But you should always stop before people cross regardless.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I did stop.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
That's why I think there's no way I almost hit
somebody because if I almost hit somebody, I would have
seen them.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Well, there was no mistaking it was you because they
knew what you were driving.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Okay, they probably just saw me driving. That's bull crap.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
They just want to be associated with Bobby.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
That's bull crap.
Speaker 5 (05:23):
By almost getting hit by a car.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I didn't almost hit anybody.
Speaker 7 (05:26):
I did.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
There's no way. Yeah, they're hoping you're going to say
their name on the radio.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
No, no, no. It's a salesperson.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Okay, no idea. I didn't almost hit anybody. Pissed me off.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Just be careful.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
No, I am careful. I am careful. So how does
it feel?
Speaker 8 (05:40):
Uh-oh.
Speaker 6 (05:40):
How does it feel?
Speaker 2 (05:41):
It's fake news. It didn't happen. It literally didn't happen.
I know.
Speaker 6 (05:44):
Well, to have a story exaggerated about your driving.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Not even exaggerated. It did not happen. I don't know
that it didn't happen.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Why would they make that up?
Speaker 6 (05:51):
I mean, people, y'all make stuff up all the time.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Because they probably just wanted something to talk about with you.
I'm telling you, I am so aware of that ramp
because there's another car coming out of the side. and
all the construction, and the people walking through, I'm so
aware that just didn't happen.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Oh, gosh.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
I forgot to tell you guys. The other day, I
was driving on the highway, and guess what? There were
slow cars up ahead. And I start getting closer to
all of them. Guess who's slowing the traffic down?
Speaker 8 (06:17):
Bobby.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Again.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Bobby!
Speaker 2 (06:19):
That's not true.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
It was you!
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Maybe. That I can believe. Really?
Speaker 5 (06:23):
We were going to Franklin.
Speaker 9 (06:24):
See?
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Look at this.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
And we were going to the same thing. And I
was like, wow, I wonder if Bobby's going to get
there on time or get there early or what. And
then I happened to just see you on the road.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, but I wasn't driving unsafe. I was driving probably
the speed limit.
Speaker 6 (06:34):
Well, but if you're going slow and causing all the other.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
Cars to slow down.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I'm not going slow. I'm driving the speed limit.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
They say that's unsafe sometimes.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
No, they don't.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Who's they?
Speaker 6 (06:41):
The police.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
No, they don't. You drive the speed limit. And you're exaggerating.
And also, I never saw you. You never passed me.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
No, because I stayed behind you.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
When I got there, you were already there.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
No, no, that's not true. That's not true.
Speaker 8 (06:55):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
I stayed behind you the whole time because I was like, oh,
this is perfect. We're going to get there together now.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Was I going the speed limit?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
You were.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Since I pulled up behind you, I looked at my speedometer,
and we were going under.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Whatever.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
What speed limit's there?
Speaker 7 (07:10):
What, 70?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
But also, this will show you how safe I am.
There's no way I almost hit somebody. I'll take going
slightly under the speed limit, but there's no way I
almost hit somebody.
Speaker 6 (07:17):
What if they came up on your blind side?
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Right. And maybe you never saw them. That happens.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
You have a bad eye.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
But if I never saw them, it means they weren't
in front of me at all. They were just way
to the side. It was on them. I could have
been driving slow, because I do drive slow. If I'm
not in a hurry, I'm not in a hurry. Why
am I rushing?
Speaker 5 (07:34):
Yeah, no, no. I know you were for sure driving slow,
because I saw that with my own eyes. The other
one is just hearsay.
Speaker 6 (07:39):
Just word on the street.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
There's somebody who drives a van down in our parking garage,
and it's a really long van. They park right at
the curve.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 5 (07:46):
Saw it.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
And you go around the curve, and you have to
go around the van, around the curve, and then you
can actually hit something, everybody.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
Yeah, there's the white van, and then a black Ford
F-150 that parks up on the next level in the
similar end spot. And I'm like, these big. things can't
park on the end spot. Because yes, it's scary to
round that corner.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
And I thought the same thing too. So I did
some observations there. They parked right up on the pillar.
So like they couldn't go up anymore.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
Yeah, but they just need not.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
It's a bad spot.
Speaker 6 (08:15):
They can't be on the end though. They need to
go right up on the pillar on the inside.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
That's a bad spot.
Speaker 5 (08:21):
Should we leave them a sticky note?
Speaker 6 (08:22):
No.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
You can. I didn't almost hit somebody.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
I'm just telling you what they said.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
I might have been driving slow. No, I was probably
doing speed limit.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
But then when I heard that, I was like, oh,
thank goodness. Because Lunchbox took me straight to when Lunchbox
said that I was flying down that ramp. And I'm
conscious of when I go down that ramp.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
You're reckless in the parking garage a little bit.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
I fly around the corner sometimes. Depends if I'm late
or not.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
But I wasn't late to where we were going, so
why would I be going fast?
Speaker 5 (08:52):
No, you're just chilling, dude.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah, and I have a fast car, so it's probably
weird that I don't go fast.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
That is so weird to me. Like, I would be
flying in that car.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
No, you wouldn't. Yes, I would.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
You'd get one speeding ticket and go, this sucks. Insurance sucks.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
Yeah, but you haven't even gotten one speeding ticket. Try
to get that one first.
Speaker 7 (09:10):
No.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
You think cops look at you and be like, you're
a target because you do have a fast car?
Speaker 2 (09:18):
I don't think so, no.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
That's what I think.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
I don't think so, but I don't drive fast.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
All right.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
You want to do top sandwiches? What do you think
is the number one sandwich?
Speaker 6 (09:31):
Peanut butter and jelly.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yeah, or grilled cheese.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Ooh.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
That's number one for me.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
Bologna and cheese. Ooh, club sandwich.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Okay, so what's number one, America's number one sandwich?
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Peanut butter and jelly.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
PB & J. PB & J.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
They sell most of those. They eat most of those.
Kids devour them.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Number eight, meatball.
Speaker 8 (09:52):
What?
Speaker 5 (09:53):
Oh, so it wasn't PB & J?
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Number one?
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Number eight.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
You're starting at eight?
Speaker 7 (09:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Because he's not going to tell you one.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
I didn't do one.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
One through seven. I said eight first. Did you think
you fell asleep for one through seven?
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Oh, so you want us to pick eight?
Speaker 8 (10:04):
No, no.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
When you asked us to guess, I thought you'd tell
us the answer.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
I'm going to. At number eight.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Hey, listen.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
Just because the salesperson said you almost hit someone, you don't.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
Have to get irritated.
Speaker 8 (10:18):
Yeah, dude, relax.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
It's fine. Hey, okay, you didn't almost hit him, okay.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Take a break.
Speaker 6 (10:21):
I think you're a safe driver.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
I'm sorry that happened to you.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
But what happened with Eddie is.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
Hey, you don't deserve it.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Eddie saw me being safe, and that counters the argument
of that I was being unsafe. Yes, that is true.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
Wow, that's two different instances, guys.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
But it's not.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
Yeah, two different times.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
It may specifically be two different instances, but it's the
same person that drives the same way.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
Is that why you're upset? Are you upset?
Speaker 2 (10:44):
No, we often go through this backward.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
Okay, BLT.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Number eight, meatball.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Meatball sandwiches are so good.
Speaker 8 (10:51):
Fantastic.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
We're stopping there.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
I'm done.
Speaker 5 (10:53):
No, no, no.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
You're only going to know the number eight. This is stupid.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
We never get to know number one.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
We're all just sitting here going, man, I wonder what
it was.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Number seven, peanut butter and jelly.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Oh, we were way down there.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
It must just be kids that are PBJ in it.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
I love PBJ.
Speaker 6 (11:07):
I mean, I like PBJ.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
And what are adults eating? Turkey and cheese?
Speaker 2 (11:11):
No. Number six, egg sandwich.
Speaker 6 (11:13):
Yum.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
That's pretty good. Egg salad?
Speaker 2 (11:18):
No, not the same as egg sandwich.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
What?
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Like a scrambled egg sandwich. Or like a fried egg. Oh, yeah.
Number five, tuna sandwich.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Love it.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Number four, ham sandwich.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Number three, turkey sandwich.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Oh, dang.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Number two, chicken sandwich.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
All right, grilled cheese.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Number one, grilled cheese.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Good call. Well, no, you changed yours to peanut butter
and jelly.
Speaker 9 (11:41):
What?
Speaker 2 (11:41):
You changed yours to peanut butter and jelly.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
I went with grilled cheese.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
No, then you said number one is peanut butter and jelly.
We literally heard you.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
I was the first one to throw out grilled cheese.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Do you want to bet your flight to Vegas on it?
Speaker 5 (11:50):
No, no.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
I'm saying I was the first one to throw grilled.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Cheese out there.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
No, but then you said, no, it's peanut butter and jelly.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Hey, whatever, man. I'm sorry that happened to me.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Thank you. I'm sorry that happened to you, too. Okay.
Everybody good?
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Are you good?
Speaker 2 (12:03):
No, I'm pissed, actually. I didn't almost hit somebody on
the ramp. Now, if I hit somebody today, that's going
to suck.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
That really would.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
After I fought it and then I hit somebody. On
the Bobby Bones Show now.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
Kane Brown.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
How's it going, buddy?
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Going good.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Ray wants to ask you something. Now's your time, Ray.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Now's your time.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
You want to be a big shot? Go ahead.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Hey, can you hear me?
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
So we were wondering if you.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
No, no, no.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
No, we.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
I have nothing to do with this.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
So I was wondering, there's this basketball hoop that's really
popular around the country.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
It's called Papa Shot. And if you were willing to
have it in your bar.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Then I would get a finder's fee. So that's kind
of why I'm curious about it. But would you be
willing to have a huge basketball hoop type thing in
your bar?
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Of course.
Speaker 6 (12:49):
Yeah!
Speaker 4 (12:51):
It just depends. I don't know. It's kind of small.
I don't know where you put it. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
And not only that, Ray just wants the finder's fee.
And I said if Kane was going to get a pop-a-shot,
he'd probably buy one and then just collect the money
from it himself.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
What is the pop-a-shot? Is it like just a normal
arcade game?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Yeah, it's got a... It's really cool, but it's got
the digital back screen. So, fun fact, Ray made top
eight nationally on ESPN.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Oh, dang.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Went and played on ESPN Pop-A-Shot. It's that thing.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
And he's like, well, Cain, will you call Cain? That's
what he said. Call Cain and ask him if I
can put one of those machines in his bar.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
I'm like, no.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
I'm not calling Cain to ask him that.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Was that just today?
Speaker 2 (13:25):
It was a week or so ago.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Oh, I appreciate it. Out of every bar in Nashville,
he thought about mine.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
No, he knows I know you. He's like, will you
call Cain and ask... So.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
I'm just cool with it being floated towards him. And
so maybe we start leaning in that direction. And then
I think we're closer to the $ 500 finder's fee. This
discussion helped with that, I believe. Because I think they said,
Papa Shot will contact you and they'll do the rest.
But as long as I just put it past him,
I believe that's how I get my finder's fee. He's
dying for a finder's fee. And he's the owner of
(13:56):
the bar.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
$ 500? $ 500, man.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Just sitting on a couch.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Why not?
Speaker 4 (13:59):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
So we asked him. Okay, we can follow up at
some point.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
I'm down, though.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
No, no, no. Yeah!
Speaker 1 (14:07):
He likes basketball.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
Yeah, that'd be fun.
Speaker 6 (14:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
But it doesn't matter. That'd be a good conversation after.
I just wanted Ray to ask it.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
Ray would be there every Saturday. What time's the bar open? 11?
Speaker 2 (14:19):
What time did your bar open?
Speaker 4 (14:20):
I have no idea.
Speaker 6 (14:23):
Well, whatever the opening time is, Ray will be there.
He's on Broadway every Saturday for brunch.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Kane shows up with a towel on her shoulder at
11 a.m. I open on Fridays.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
I will say the food is fire, though.
Speaker 6 (14:37):
Where did you get the recipes?
Speaker 4 (14:39):
So the guy that I'm in business with, he also
owns Zuzu right there, and he's out of Detroit. He
has a lot of other restaurants. So, like, His main
focus over everything was the food. And it's delicious.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
So you guys take pride in your food. It's not
just you go to a bar, there's also food. You
guys have good food.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Yeah, you got to try the lamb. Like you would
go to a bar.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
You have a lamb?
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Yes, you wouldn't expect lamb. But I never had lamb.
And when I tried it, it was like that was
my new favorite meat.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
What would be cool is if you had live lambs
in there and someone got to pick it out.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
Like a lobster?
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Like a lobster, yeah, when they have that thing up front.
I want that lamb. And then they take it up
and maybe hear a cane song. They eat the lamb.
You can have that one for free.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
All right. That one deserves a fine.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
I was watching a video of you playing new music
and you were playing it over the top and you
were singing along with it. Do you have to strategically
plan when you do stuff like that when you put out?
Because you didn't put that song out, but you.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
Let people hear it. No. That song, to me, after
we recorded it that day, felt like old school, like
me back in 2016. And I was just happy and
excited with it.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Do you ever put out one of those songs where
you put the work tape out or the demo and
then you never put it out?
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Yeah. Oh, you do? Yeah, I've probably done at least
30 of those videos.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Oh, I thought that's always... we're going to put this out,
so let me put it out so people feel like
they're involved.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
No, sometimes you just get excited with a song, and
then a lot of times you forget about the song.
It just kind of, you write something better, you write
something similar to it that you like better. I just,
that song is for sure going on my album. And
we recorded it that day, and it was just, I
was just in love with it.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Do you ever get in a meet and greet, though,
and someone goes, hey, you know what song I like?
I like that song called Wednesday Wilburrow that you did,
and you're like, Oh, I posted that. I never recorded it.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Yeah. I have a lot of them that they're still,
I'll post a video like that, like we did the
other day. And they'll be like, I want you to
release this song Dead End that I released, I tease
in 2016 or something like that.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
So you tease, but then don't follow through.
Speaker 6 (16:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
I've thought about doing a record for like all the,
old school, old school fans where I did tease the
music and never released and just put it out. It'd
be trash, but.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
That could be the title.
Speaker 7 (17:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
How's your ear?
Speaker 4 (17:03):
It's good. It's good. As I hit it. There's a
little cartilage in there. I'll let you feel it after
if you want to.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
What happened? Like, what happened happened?
Speaker 4 (17:12):
So, I was golfing my buddy. It was kind of
like my stepdad. And I was, so think of like a,
it was a, I was in the middle. I had
one guy over here, and I had one guy over here.
But we're at least 40 yards from each other. I'm
a little ahead, you know, because my drive went further.
(17:34):
So Dio hit it. I'm standing with my caddie, man,
my caddie right in the middle. So Dio hit this way,
and my caddie ducked. And I was like, oh, did
he almost hit us? And he's like, no, that just
scares me. So that made me turn around and actually
face the guy that hit me. I'm still not going
to say his name. But face, it made me watch him,
or it would have probably just smacked me in the
back of the head, and I wouldn't be here. But
(17:58):
he hit a three-wood, and it just, like, was going
straight and then just sliced over. Well, it was more
like going this way because he was supposed to be
hitting this way, but it came directly at me. And
so all I had time to do was just go
like this, and it hit me directly in the side
of the head. So I just went down. And then
(18:19):
all of a sudden, it was like somebody was dumping
water on my hand.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Did you hear the ball coming?
Speaker 4 (18:25):
Oh, yeah. You know how it just goes. Yeah. And
it just hit. And it was like a grenade went off.
It was just rings. There was no pain, no nothing.
It was just there was so much blood that I
was in shock. And my friend just went into a
coma a year before from hitting the head with a softball.
So I thought my brain was bleeding. And after like
two minutes, I was like, okay, I'm still functioning. So
(18:47):
I was like. It was still ringing, so I was like,
please don't let me be deaf. And then after five minutes,
I started being able to hear, and we wiped the
blood off, and they were like, no, your ear's just
split in half. So I was like, okay, cool. So
then I stood up, and then I was woozy.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
You stayed on the ground, though, for a while.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Yeah, for about four or five minutes.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
So do you go to the hospital immediately?
Speaker 4 (19:06):
Yeah, but it was carts only. I mean, it was
no carts. It was walking only. So I had to
wait for a cart to come all the way down
to get me, which I don't know if you play
Bounty Club yet.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
No.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
You know you're cooler than I am.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
Well, you were going to go out and play bounty club.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yeah. I hear they hit people with the balls there.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
I don't know. I played yesterday for the first time.
I was nervous.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Low PTSD on a golf course. I remember when that happened.
I didn't know it was that close, but I did
maintenance on a golf course for a long time, and
that stuff pisses me off when people hit onto people.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yours was different because it was you guys were close.
But I would see people, and I ever only got
hit in like a leg or a back, but I
would see people get hit in the neck and the
head from people hitting onto us workers.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Those balls slice, cut, like do a lot of damage.
Did you think when you went to the hospital, what
was worst case scenario for you when you got there?
Speaker 4 (19:58):
Well, I felt great, but the doctor was like, man,
if this was an inch... Forward or backwards, he was like,
it would have been a little different. He said, the
only thing that I'm worried about now is that you
might have a broken bone in your ear. I didn't
even know he had bones in her ear. He was like,
it might be a broken bone, so we had to
go and get a CAT scan and some other stuff.
And he was like, no, you're good. He was like,
(20:18):
the eardrum looks great, everything.
Speaker 6 (20:20):
Okay, I'm trying to picture. You said your caddy made
a move that then made you move.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
For the first guy.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Yeah, but you turning your body, repositioning, because then when
you were telling the story, you said, Had it hit
me in the back of the head, I wouldn't be here.
Speaker 9 (20:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
I mean, think of it. It's a 150-mile-an-hour ball from
me to Martha behind you. I mean, it's not a bullet.
It's not a bullet. But that's pretty awful. If I
told anybody in this room, go stand right there and
let me put a three-wood ball down and hit it
as hard as I can at her, nobody's going to
do it.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Well, let's be honest, you'd miss. But you still wouldn't
do it.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
You know what I'm saying? I agree. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 6 (21:00):
I was just trying to understand because, yeah, I didn't
have that perspective and I don't know much about golf,
but now that helps me have a better idea of
just how fortunate you were in that you said you
only turned because the caddy was reacting to the other thing.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
To the other guy, yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
So that, oof, that's crazy. And also, like Kane said,
he outdrove them. What should we do? We should wait
back behind them and let them hit. We don't, because
I do it too. We just go to our ball.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
We shouldn't really be up ahead. But we out drove them,
so we want to go out and make sure everybody knows.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
So that happened yesterday. I did it, and then I
was playing with my buddy David. I don't know if
you met him. I was still waiting after the other
guy already hit his shot that David walked 40 yards
to his ball because I was still behind the other guy.
I was like, I'm not getting in front.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Is it sore?
Speaker 4 (21:50):
It is a few. Like my son, he'll like. do
this and just kind of get rough with me and
he'll hit it every now and then. But that's really
the only time.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
My feelings were hurt a little bit with something you
said recently.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Do you know what it is?
Speaker 5 (22:03):
It's so God.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Just a little, not fully, but just a little. You
said you didn't have any friends in the industry.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Well, no.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
So I, it came off weird, right? I said friends
that we hang and we drink beers with and hit
the golf. Like when have you ever been like, Hey, bro,
what are you doing? I ain't doing anything. You want
to come chill?
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Oh, yeah, never.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
I don't deal with Eddie.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Exactly. That's what I want.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
That's more fair because I would think if something was up,
you could call me for sure.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
Yeah, a million percent.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. A little bit, I thought... He says
he doesn't have any friends.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
The articles that were going around made me seem like.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
Sad?
Speaker 2 (22:45):
I was sad for you.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
I was mad for me.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
I was like, no. I had Lauren hit me up.
She's like, yo, what?
Speaker 6 (22:50):
That's what I was thinking because you and Lauren Alaina
have been friends since middle school and you're like, I
have nobody.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
I didn't mean it like that.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
I'd give you an organ if you needed one and
Kane's like... No, man. Nobody will talk to me. That's
what it felt like.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Yeah, no. Yeah, those articles made it seem like that too,
like the little headline pictures that they do. I just
meant like somebody that we just, like I feel like
Morgan and Hardy, like they're like real close. You know
what I mean? Like I just want that. Because in
the industry, like we're the only ones that can really
relate to each other. You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (23:22):
But also it's tough in the industry if you travel.
So that's why you don't get a lot of people.
that are front-facing that can be together a lot unless
they're touring together because of promotion schedules, touring schedules, all
of that. I'm just letting you know, 18%. I was 18% hurt.
Speaker 6 (23:40):
But now you have clarity.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
But now I have clarity because I was just like, dude,
what does he need? His ear got hurt.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
I was like, dude, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
I was just hurt, but now I feel good.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
How are you doing physically? Are you working out still?
Are you hitting it as hard?
Speaker 4 (23:53):
Yes, sir.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
You're still as dedicated?
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Because you were really fired up for a while.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
Yeah, that was during the bodybuilding phase. And I've actually
kind of tried to get back to it. And I'm struggling.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Is it the food part?
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Yeah, the food. It's not the working out. It's just the.
I don't know. I have a really strict goal of
what I see, and I've been on it for three
years now, and I still haven't seen it. And so
that's what gets frustrating.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
You haven't seen what?
Speaker 4 (24:20):
Like the results?
Speaker 6 (24:21):
Like certain muscles?
Speaker 4 (24:21):
No, like what I want.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
The results that you want.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
Yeah, which I think the results that I see that
I want to look like, I think I'll have to
do steroids. Which I'm not.
Speaker 5 (24:29):
You got to do what you got to do.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Who would that be?
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Like The Rock or something?
Speaker 5 (24:34):
No, he's too big.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
You ever see Reacher, the guy that does Reacher?
Speaker 4 (24:37):
Yeah, he's too big.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
Yeah, not that.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
Don't be ridiculous.
Speaker 6 (24:41):
So how much protein do you have to eat?
Speaker 4 (24:43):
I eat like around 200 to 205 grams of protein
a day.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Do you have it where at breakfast you eat a
certain amount of protein? Do you wake up and you
have to put meat down?
Speaker 4 (24:50):
So- normally like when I was doing the bodybuilding thing,
I had to do, uh, it was like three scrambled eggs,
which that was all of a cut, but then I get,
I'm naturally a skinny guy. So it, I got too skinny.
And so I was like, I want to see my abs,
but then I lost, I didn't have any muscle really.
(25:10):
So it's like, I want, I don't know. I feel
really weird talking about this, but it's just, I have
to eat to look how I want to eat. But
then I don't, look as ripped and then it just
really pisses me off.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Amen, same. Hey, it's just you guys relating. I'm glad
we can be together and just relate.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
I know.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Kane texted me, he's like, hey man, I want you
to get involved. I want you to do this. And
I'm like, no. Get involved in what? He was like,
how's your fitness? Oh, in the workout?
Speaker 4 (25:37):
No, it wasn't about fitness. This was just the, I
wanted Bobby to just come in with just an eight pack.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
He just shocked the world. Well, he said, and I said, well,
because I had just had ankle surgery and I said,
I said, well, I just lost like 14 pounds, you know,
because I didn't get to work out. He goes, oh,
my bad. I didn't even notice.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
When guys lose 14 pounds, it's completely different. I wanted
you to be.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
But that means I'm not then. All I hear from
you is you're not.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
I'm not. No, I'm not talking bad about you. I'm
just saying everybody could improve. I could improve.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
What's the nicest hotel you've ever been in?
Speaker 4 (26:20):
Oh, man.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Do you have a favorite hotel ever?
Speaker 4 (26:22):
Favorite hotel ever?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Like the coolest hotel you've ever been in.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Probably Motel 6. I can't think. Off the top of
my head, I really can't think.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
You ever been in some country, some weird hotel?
Speaker 6 (26:30):
Oh, like that one in Kenya where the giraffes come
to the window and you feed them?
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah, you ever done that one?
Speaker 4 (26:36):
I've been in one in the United States where they
did that.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Wait, what?
Speaker 4 (26:39):
What?
Speaker 2 (26:39):
With the giraffes?
Speaker 4 (26:40):
Yeah, it's a zoo.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Oh, is that Disney?
Speaker 4 (26:42):
No, it ain't Disney.
Speaker 6 (26:44):
But it's a hotel zoo?
Speaker 4 (26:45):
Yeah, it's a hotel. I want to say it's in
Montana or something.
Speaker 6 (26:47):
Wait, why were we trying to travel to Kenya when
we could go do it in Montana?
Speaker 4 (26:50):
Yeah, there's like two giraffes, a couple other stuff.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
You sure? It's just like a guy with a giraffe neck.
You sure?
Speaker 6 (26:58):
Okay, we need to know about this.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have to ask. It might have
been Disney.
Speaker 5 (27:08):
Because I know there's a place at Disney where it's
like Safari World.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
I don't know if someone would call it that. It
might have been Orlando.
Speaker 7 (27:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
He's like, Montana, Orlando.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
But it's still Kenya.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
You know what I'm saying? It's closer than Kenya.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
How about the Giraffe Inn and Safari in Texas?
Speaker 4 (27:23):
Maybe.
Speaker 7 (27:23):
You have luxury barns and glamping decks that allow you
to hand feed giraffes directly from your room.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
There's also somewhere at Disney that Scooby just said.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
I got to see what it looks like. It's like,
we stayed in a, it's like a, it's all wood,
like almost a cabin, but it was massive.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
That doesn't sound like Disney.
Speaker 7 (27:46):
No.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
How much are tires for your car?
Speaker 4 (27:49):
I don't know. I just asked for new tires. That's awesome.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
Oh, you don't even have to check that price?
Speaker 4 (27:54):
I just, I will say this. Just in the industry
we're in, we're very privileged. And recently, I've had to
live a normal day in life in a.
Let's just say this. I had to clean toilets the
other day, and we have like 13 toilets. And then
(28:21):
clean sheets that just aren't your sheets, like just doing
your normal bed, like having to do pool house sheets.
Speaker 5 (28:29):
Why are you doing all that?
Speaker 2 (28:31):
He said, let's just save. Hey, time's tough?
Speaker 4 (28:34):
It's been tiring. I ain't going to lie to you.
You need a little.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Yeah, you good, King?
Speaker 2 (28:38):
I keep a little cash over here. Yeah, it's been rough.
I asked because my SUV, because my tires were $ 1, 200
a piece. I didn't know if yours were that expensive.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
I have no idea. I usually have a tire guy.
I haven't had to replace my tires on mine.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Mine only go 8,000 miles and they're dead.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
I have no idea.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Yeah, you keep saying that.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
Well, no, I have.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Yeah. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (29:06):
It's been a good 10 years or so.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Yeah, I hear them.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
I hear them.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
Right?
Speaker 6 (29:10):
When did you first, like, stop knowing what things cost?
Which would be, I totally understand for you.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
I'd say 2016. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
That's about 10 years. That's cool, man. You really made it.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Good for you.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
We're proud of you.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
I don't know. I ain't gonna lie, I came into
the industry, I'm just being completely honest with y'all, when
I came into the industry, and I got my business manager,
which everybody has. I hope everybody has. I didn't realize
because I never paid my taxes. I mean, I paid
my taxes, but it was like my mom paid my taxes.
(29:55):
I didn't realize how much taxes were. And I thought
I got robbed when I got here. the first time
i was like i was heated so bad i'm just
i'm just talking that's real but yeah like when you
don't you gotta you really gotta for all the new
artists coming in like because you go from this is
real talk you go from i was working at target
and fedex to struggling to you know getting a mcchicken
(30:17):
sandwich from mcdonald's and going in debt over mcchicken's like
three dollars and then it would turn into 40 because
you were You didn't have money in there, you know
what I'm saying? So they would just keep charging you
until you paid it.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Yeah, the overdraft fees.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
Yes. It drove me nuts, bro. So I would go
and get $ 200 loan fees out just to pay that,
and then I owed them. So it was bad. So
then when I got a business manager, you didn't have
to worry about anything anymore. You got to keep up, though.
You got to keep looking at the bills, make sure
nothing's crazy, taking anything out.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Do you look at the bills?
Speaker 7 (30:51):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
Okay. Yeah, I was looking at the stat sheet.
Speaker 6 (30:52):
But just not tires. So did you just, are you
saying you don't have to look at the bill for
the tires or they gift them to you? Because it's like, oh,
Kane needs new tires.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
Yeah, you get a lot of, yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
You get a lot of, yeah. You get tire gifts?
Speaker 6 (31:03):
It's that whole thing, like the richer you get, the
more you get for free.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
I'm familiar.
Speaker 4 (31:08):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
You're talking about Lamborghini tires.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
I know, but.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
Yeah, you do like car shows.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Yeah, nobody asked me to do car shows.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
Come to mine, bro. I don't have any friends.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
What's up with new music? I know we don't have
any right this second, but can you talk about it?
Is something on the way?
Speaker 4 (31:27):
New music? Yeah. Yeah, I'm excited for it. It was
supposed to be out in October. I think it's going
to be in March now.
Speaker 8 (31:35):
Why?
Speaker 4 (31:35):
What happened? Just wasn't really feeling the music. I don't know.
I really want to focus on this album and just
kind of do i've been all over the place with
it wanting to write songs that are stories wanted to
sound old school like not just country but like different
sounds like 50s type music and um then i've been
(32:00):
talking to people and they're like bro your album doesn't
have to sound cohesive you haven't had one album sound
cohesive why do it now and i was like you're
right i'm gonna put a rap song on i'm just
kidding but uh you know just I don't know, but
I'm in love with it now, and we got a
lot of outside songs. I didn't have a lot of
outside songs. I think we got three or four now
that are actually smashes. One of them is the one
(32:23):
that I put up the other day. So, yeah, I'm
really excited. I think it's this one. I know I
say this a lot, but this one is my favorite album.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Yeah, I make fun of people when they say that.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
I think I've said it every album.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Well, I don't make fun of you. But you should
feel that way.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
One, you should feel that way. And to that, and
the other thing that I make fun of people for
saying is, it's my most personal album yet.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
Oh, this ain't personal.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
You're the first person to ever say that.
Speaker 4 (32:50):
No, no, no. This is just, I'm only going for hits.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
That's the most honest thing anyone's ever said about their music.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
Yeah, this is just straight. I just want, I mean,
the one that I'm releasing, I think, next month is
Shania Twain, Whose Bed Has Your Boots Been Under? It's
the guy's version.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
I mean, the only thing personal with that with me
is just I grew up to that song, but.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
You just want all bangers. It's just one after the other.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
So are you.
Speaker 6 (33:18):
Okay, the guy version of that would be.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
Where.
Speaker 6 (33:24):
Whose bed have you... Hold on.
Speaker 5 (33:26):
Yeah, figure it out.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Reverse engineer that. Reverse engineer that.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Okay, she's saying... Who.
Speaker 6 (33:31):
Is she singing that to a guy, though?
Speaker 7 (33:33):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Yeah, she's saying... Whose.
Speaker 6 (33:35):
Bed have the boots been under? And you're saying... only
your bed?
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (33:42):
Or are you saying, I don't know, just about five?
Speaker 4 (33:45):
This is her asking me now. I'm like, you're crazy
for asking me this.
Speaker 6 (33:49):
Right, because my boots haven't been anywhere.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Women love it when you call them crazy, too. It's
one thing I've learned. Yeah, they love that.
Speaker 6 (33:57):
Yeah, but he didn't mean, it's when you say you're
acting crazy versus like, oh, don't be crazy.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Got it.
Speaker 6 (34:04):
There is a difference in the usage there.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
It just never worked well for me if I've referred
to any woman crazy ever. That's cool.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
You like it? Love it.
Speaker 7 (34:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
And I think Shania is doing some backup vocals and
all that. That's cool.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
What about woman about to be number one?
Speaker 4 (34:20):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Um, most personal song yet.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
That one really is personal. Um, But, yeah, that one,
I had a lot of fun creating that one. That
one was one that, like, hit me in the gut from, like,
when I first started that I was really excited about.
Speaker 8 (34:34):
Why?
Speaker 4 (34:34):
I don't know. Some of those songs just do that,
you know. And it was like I saw everything happening.
It was like it was just a gift from above,
that song. It just kind of fell in my lap,
and I envisioned everything. It was like it was already
written out for me whenever it popped into my head.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
So was it one of those that came out just
quickly too?
Speaker 4 (34:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (34:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (34:59):
Yeah, I mean, because literally it was my boys asking me,
do you want to go out? And no. And I
looked in, and Kate's in there cleaning. I'm like, I
got a perfectly amazing woman right here.
Speaker 7 (35:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
Just wrote it so.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Well, congratulations, man. Great to see you. Great to see
that you're healthy. Great to see that we are still friends.
And I didn't know.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
You never know when people talk about you. You're talking
bad about you in the press. That's how I took that,
him talking bad about me in the press. Saying we're
not friends. You never know. Super excited. Let us know
when the new music's ready. Let's play it. The Shania
song's gonna be fun. I can already tell.
Speaker 4 (35:33):
Yeah, it's just a fun radio-friendly song.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
And I'm assuming the melody, it's gonna be very similar.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
Yeah. I mean, it is different. I will say it
is more modern, but it's still very... It's country.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
But it's the melody of the song.
Speaker 4 (35:50):
Yeah, it's not a copy at all. But there's parts
of the melodies and the song.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
So there are parts though, where you do hear, you know,
you're singing that song.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (36:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
That's what we want.
Speaker 9 (36:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:03):
All right.
Speaker 5 (36:03):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
Anything else, Amy from Kane?
Speaker 6 (36:06):
I just love his videos with, um, I'll say to you,
I love your videos with Lauren Elena lately. Like I,
cause y'all been, you know, I guess doing stuff cause
you've been hanging out together as your friends, but also
y'all have your song together.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
And, and, They're so cute.
Speaker 6 (36:23):
Like y'all, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
She got you the.
Speaker 6 (36:24):
Other day and I watched it like three times because
I was trying to figure out what's going on. But
she was explaining to Cain like everything she was going
to go do, like simple things. And Cain was not
catching on at all. And it kind of took me
a second too. But then I was like, I've had
y'all hanging out as like a couple, like your wife
or husband. And it just seems like y'all have a
lot of fun together.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
Yeah, Cam's cool too. I really like him and their
sweet daughter, Benny.
Speaker 6 (36:49):
And your kids.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
She was just asking me. Or she was saying, she
was like, I'm going to go fix my hair in
the bathroom. I was like, okay. And then she was like,
I'm going to go use the bathroom like 30 minutes later.
And I was like, go use the bathroom.
Speaker 6 (37:03):
Someone was like secretly filming the interaction. And Kane had
no idea. And she was doing it all day. So
there was different scenes. And then finally he caught on.
And he's like, what? Why are you telling me every
little thing that you're going to do? Anyway, that along
with other videos that y'all have been putting up have
just been really– Cute. That's the word.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
Well, thank you.
Speaker 6 (37:23):
Endearing.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Well, there he is.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
The wonderful, the talented Kane Brown, everybody. Nice job. There
was an Uber driver doing his thing in Houston, and
two cops jumped in the back of his car, and
they said, go chase that suspect. Uh-oh.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
I feel like that's not— That's putting that guy in danger.
Speaker 5 (37:38):
That's not allowed.
Speaker 9 (37:40):
Like, that guy doesn't have any protection, and what if
the suspect pulls out a gun, pop, pop, but if
they got in my car, I would have done it.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
I'd have driven them.
Speaker 5 (37:49):
That'd be awesome.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
You, you, I'd be chased with your children in the car.
Speaker 6 (37:52):
I mean, this is Lunchbox's dream.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
I do chase them.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
All of a sudden, he's Mr.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
Moral.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
I would not do it.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
No, no, I would do it.
Speaker 9 (37:58):
I'm just saying, man, that seems pretty dangerous when you
think about it, but in the moment, I'd be like, ah!
Speaker 2 (38:05):
An Uber driver in Houston got the surprise of his
life from Click 2 Houston when two police officers chasing
a suspect on foot jumped into his car and said,
follow that person. The suspect was wanted for threatening a
woman and her two children And dash cam video captured
one of the officers saying, go, go, go, as the
driver followed the guy.
Speaker 5 (38:20):
I feel like those cops are going to be in trouble.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
Huh.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Yeah, I think you've got to take him out of
the car and be like, hey, I need your car.
Speaker 6 (38:26):
Police, police.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
I think that's movies.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
They do that in the movies.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
They pull you out and they punch you, then they
take you. And then they go back and they're like, yeah,
I had to punch him. There's a guy who's going
to jail for shooting a bald eagle in his backyard.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 6 (38:39):
Why did he do that?
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Writing his crops.
Speaker 5 (38:42):
That's America's burden.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
Interesting. In a lot of other countries, The eagle, which
they don't associate with America. It's just like what you're saying.
A bad bird.
Speaker 7 (38:52):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
Like one that eats. Who said crops? You were on Lunchbox.
Speaker 6 (38:56):
Lunchbox.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Yeah, one who's like, the birds are trouble. Like we
consider like a crow or something. Wow.
Speaker 6 (39:04):
Yeah, like a pest.
Speaker 5 (39:05):
A vulture. Mm-hmm.
Speaker 6 (39:07):
But why did.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
He do that?
Speaker 5 (39:09):
Isn't a vulture a crow?
Speaker 6 (39:10):
They're much bigger.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Yeah, that's what I said. A bigger crow.
Speaker 5 (39:12):
They're huge and their faces are like red and they're
gross looking. But they're nature's garbage can. Like really. Like
anything that dies, they eat it.
Speaker 6 (39:22):
I saw them eating an armadillo yesterday.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
And you're sure a vulture and a crow aren't the
same thing?
Speaker 6 (39:26):
I don't know that I'm certain.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Are they the same family?
Speaker 4 (39:28):
Amy, we're bird people. We know that.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
I do go to the experts here.
Speaker 6 (39:32):
I believe they are different. They look different to me.
They look smaller.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
Got it.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
A guy's going to prison for shooting and killing a
bald eagle in his backyard. He was sentenced Friday to
14 days behind bars in order to pay $ 5, 000. They
say he shot the eagle as it sat in a tree.
then hid the wounded bird under a tarp in his garage. Dude,
this bird wasn't doing anything wrong.
Speaker 5 (39:55):
It's so sad.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
Because what if the bird was attacking a small dog?
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Then you've got to shoot it.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Yeah, you don't wave the flag if it's eating your chihuahua.
Speaker 6 (40:03):
Okay, I get that.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
But yes, if this is all, the bird was just
there and he shot it, Okay, what if he didn't
know it was an eagle, though?
Speaker 5 (40:09):
Oh, you know it's an eagle.
Speaker 6 (40:10):
You know it's a bald eagle.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (40:12):
They have the white head and everything and the yellow beak.
They're very unique.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Well, they are federally protected.
Speaker 6 (40:18):
Yeah, so what's his punishment?
Speaker 2 (40:20):
14 days.
Speaker 4 (40:21):
That's it?
Speaker 5 (40:22):
14 days in jail?
Speaker 2 (40:23):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 5 (40:24):
And that's not even counting what they're going to do
to him in there.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Yeah. You think they're going to do bad stuff to
him because he killed an eagle? That's what you do
if you mess with a kid.
Speaker 5 (40:31):
Right, right.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Do it for an eagle.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Okay, let's see. Voicemail, Raymundo.
Speaker 8 (40:36):
NVIDIA, they're putting $ 500 billion investment in chat GPT. Why
don't you guys give us an update on how y'all
stocks are doing? Because y'all invested in NVIDIA a long
time ago. Can we get an update?
Speaker 2 (40:53):
We can.
Speaker 5 (40:54):
We can.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
And I'll go to mine too.
Speaker 5 (40:56):
He's getting his phone out of his bag.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
So it's about what it was last time.
Speaker 5 (41:00):
Hasn't changed?
Speaker 2 (41:01):
It's still up. And I got my money back from Lunchbox,
and I just put it back in over here.
Speaker 6 (41:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Just so I'd have access to it.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
Amy, how's your NVIDIA doing?
Speaker 6 (41:11):
I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
Oh, yeah, because you don't have any.
Speaker 5 (41:13):
You're out.
Speaker 6 (41:15):
I know I got it out, but I have other investments.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
But not NVIDIA.
Speaker 6 (41:18):
No, I do.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
You guys should compare investments to see who has it
the most. Ooh, please. Okay.
Speaker 5 (41:24):
With the dollar amounts.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
I hate to tell you, this account I've been doing,
I've got a lot of money in here.
Speaker 5 (41:30):
How much, big dog?
Speaker 2 (41:32):
So you don't need a flight to Vegas?
Speaker 1 (41:34):
I do.
Speaker 5 (41:35):
Ooh, you can pay your own way?
Speaker 2 (41:36):
You got a lot of money. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
What do you got in there?
Speaker 2 (41:39):
What's your Nvidia?
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Total return is $ 4, 841. What's your percentage, though?
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Because total return is just money in.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
What do you mean? Oh, five.
Speaker 8 (41:51):
Years.
Speaker 5 (41:51):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
I'm trying to figure that out.
Speaker 5 (41:53):
Do this every time.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
What app are you using?
Speaker 1 (41:56):
Robinhood.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
Okay, you see the green where it says that number
on green?
Speaker 4 (42:00):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
If you touch that green, it'll bring up a little screen,
and it gives you all the options on what to hit.
And you'll see last price, percent change, your equity, today's return,
total return, total percent change at the bottom.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
Man, total percent change is 113%. Yeah, mine's at 111%.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, not bad. There you go.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
Pretty dang good, fools.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
Pretty dang good.
Speaker 5 (42:24):
All right, are we going to compare stocks over here?
Speaker 1 (42:27):
I think Bobby's got more.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
You and Amy.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
Oh, no.
Speaker 6 (42:30):
I mean, I'd have to email my... I have someone
that helps me.
Speaker 9 (42:33):
Oh, you don't have just Robin Hood where I do
it on my own and read my own stuff?
Speaker 6 (42:37):
You didn't even know how to work your screen.
Speaker 5 (42:41):
Bobby just had to tell you how to do it.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
Yeah. I still am not quite sure I did it right,
but hey, I'm doing all right.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
With that answer, you're doing it right.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
Oh, good.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Because that was basically the answer.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
I had on mine, too. Let's see.
Speaker 4 (42:52):
Let's see.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
Oh, yeah. That one... Oh, man. That's not doing that great.
Let's see. That one is my TKO. It's up 14%. Nice.
My Sphere is up 33.4%. Sphere?
Speaker 5 (43:09):
That's the venue in Vegas?
Speaker 1 (43:10):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
Did you buy Bitcoin when I told you to?
Speaker 1 (43:13):
I did.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
It should be up a little bit.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
Let's see. On that, I am negative $ 28. Oh, dang. Yeah,
so that's not good. But yeah, Sphere, I bought three
shares of that sucker.
Speaker 5 (43:24):
Wow, you own three shares of the venue?
Speaker 6 (43:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (43:27):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
He owns three of those.
Speaker 1 (43:29):
Not bad, though. Pixels, 33%. Not bad, man.
Speaker 5 (43:32):
Hey, I wonder if you can get free tickets since
you're a stockholder.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
Just show that. Just go up to the ticket counter
and be like, I own this place.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
Yeah. I mean, so, hey, I'm doing all right. What
was that one Ray told us to get from the
guy in the bar? I have it. What is it called?
Speaker 4 (43:44):
C-E-L-L-C.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
It is C-E-L-C.
Speaker 2 (43:51):
And I'm up $ 18 on that one.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
I am minus 2% on that one. $ 3. 92. What's your
total amount, Lunchbox?
Speaker 5 (43:59):
Like, if you cashed out today.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
It should tell you on the very top.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
Oh, I see it, man. Show them.
Speaker 5 (44:07):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (44:07):
It's big money.
Speaker 5 (44:08):
Can I just see it? Let me see it.
Speaker 1 (44:10):
Nah.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
I'll show... Eddie, mine, if you show Eddie.
Speaker 4 (44:13):
Of course you.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
But mine's Robin Hood.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
Millions.
Speaker 2 (44:16):
No, it's just Robin Hood. Millions. I just mess around
with this. This is not, for me, at all.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
All right, do you want me to show you, but
you can't say the number?
Speaker 5 (44:24):
I won't say it. I'd love to see it.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
All right.
Speaker 6 (44:27):
Ready?
Speaker 2 (44:27):
Oh, man. Because this, for me, I just, this is
a dinker account. I count.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
All right, get by the microphone. I'll show you live
on the mic. Live on the mic, man.
Speaker 9 (44:35):
No more.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
You ready?
Speaker 2 (44:36):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (44:38):
Wow. Really?
Speaker 9 (44:40):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
He's put a light in there? I, I'm shocked.
Speaker 6 (44:44):
Okay, wait, let me see.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
I'm shocked.
Speaker 5 (44:45):
No, Amy, you can't.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
No, I can't. He probably has more than I have
in mind then. Because, again, I just use this for showbiz.
Speaker 5 (44:51):
Let me see yours.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
Okay, you come over here. I just use this for showbiz.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
No, no, Bobby's bigger.
Speaker 4 (45:01):
He is.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
I told you.
Speaker 5 (45:02):
Bobby's way bigger, but it doesn't, I mean, I'm surprised
how much money Lunchbox has.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Yeah, mine is not, it's not that.
Speaker 5 (45:08):
Dang, you guys are balling.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
How much you up overall on your whole account? Eddie,
you can look at this to tell him I'm not lying.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Gosh, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (45:19):
So what do you want me to do? So if
you scroll to the bottom here and you can show
us on him.
Speaker 1 (45:23):
You just go to your total? Yeah, all time. I'm up.
Speaker 5 (45:26):
Oh, that's a lot of green.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
How?
Speaker 5 (45:30):
How's that more than?
Speaker 1 (45:32):
Oh, that, that.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
Got it.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
How much are you up, Eddie?
Speaker 4 (45:34):
Got it. I'm up.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
How much are you up?
Speaker 1 (45:37):
How much are you up, man?
Speaker 2 (45:39):
Show Eddie yours.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
But you got to say it.
Speaker 5 (45:41):
Bobby's is green.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
Show Eddie yours.
Speaker 5 (45:43):
Green.
Speaker 1 (45:44):
All right.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
This is what I'm in love with. If you don't
feel comfortable with what you're up, money-wise, we can do percentages.
Speaker 4 (45:48):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
That's what I'm up.
Speaker 5 (45:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
That's cute.
Speaker 5 (45:52):
That's cute.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
That's cute?
Speaker 5 (45:55):
Dude, you know what, though? I mean, 401k, get out
of here. That's your money. That's your retirement.
Speaker 8 (46:01):
No.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
No.
Speaker 7 (46:03):
Over the time I'm up did you do all I
did all all time the bottom you scroll all the
way to the right but you know how to do
that but you didn't know the other thing yeah okay I'm.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
Up 40.3% I'm up 52.55% yeah yeah that's why I
said cute oh well percentage though dollars are relative but
the I.
Speaker 6 (46:22):
Mean technically I mean our 401k is invested in.
Speaker 9 (46:24):
The market too are they making 40% because I am
I wouldn't hold on to that what do you mean 40%
is hard to maintain.
Speaker 4 (46:33):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 2 (46:34):
Because I'm up 52%, and I don't think that'll mean it.
Speaker 5 (46:36):
So what do you recommend? He catches out today?
Speaker 2 (46:38):
I don't recommend him to do anything.
Speaker 9 (46:40):
I'm pretty good at picking these stocks, man.
Speaker 5 (46:42):
Lunchbox, I'm impressed, dude. Like, I wouldn't even mess around
with 401k. You're rolling right now.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
What if he does both? Let him continue that. No,
this is more fun, man. Yeah, it's not supposed to
be fun. If it's fun, it's not saving. It's not safe.
It's not security.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
Yeah, I can't believe I have that much.
Speaker 8 (46:59):
I know.
Speaker 5 (46:59):
I can't believe you have that much money either.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
I don't have that much either.
Speaker 5 (47:01):
Now, Bobby, I mean, I got that.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
But mine's not a lot.
Speaker 1 (47:06):
It's good.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
But I'm saying this is just an account I mess with.
Speaker 5 (47:10):
That's you messing around? I don't want to see what
you're doing when you're serious.
Speaker 1 (47:16):
Like, yeah, I don't know, man.
Speaker 5 (47:19):
Amy, let me see yours.
Speaker 2 (47:21):
I don't think Amy has Robin Hood.
Speaker 1 (47:21):
Amy doesn't have Robin Hood. She can't even do it.
Speaker 6 (47:23):
No, I do have Robin Hood, but my... Whenever Lunchbox.
Speaker 4 (47:26):
Gave me the money.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
This is not a commercial, by the way, to all
of our listeners. We have no deal with Robin Hood.
Speaker 6 (47:30):
I have Acorn downloaded, too.
Speaker 1 (47:31):
There you go. But I would take one if they
want to come on board.
Speaker 6 (47:36):
No, I have someone that has... I'm doing something different.
Speaker 5 (47:40):
Is it Chase?
Speaker 2 (47:40):
Yeah, mine is.
Speaker 6 (47:42):
No, we brought him on the show a couple of
years ago.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
He does robberies. Mine is all mostly just show bits.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
Chase does robberies.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
That thing that Amy told me to buy... It's up
almost $ 4, 000. Like up. What is that?
Speaker 5 (47:55):
What was that?
Speaker 2 (47:56):
Well, I never said.
Speaker 5 (47:58):
Oh, you never said it.
Speaker 2 (47:59):
I never said it.
Speaker 6 (48:00):
The masked man.
Speaker 1 (48:01):
But Amy. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 9 (48:02):
So you don't want to take your future into your
own hands? You want to leave it to someone else?
Speaker 2 (48:06):
But that's her own hands getting someone smart.
Speaker 6 (48:08):
I am taking my future into my own hands. I
give him money every single month.
Speaker 4 (48:12):
Every month?
Speaker 6 (48:12):
Well, every paycheck.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Oh, man. I do it myself.
Speaker 5 (48:16):
So you're doing your own 401k?
Speaker 6 (48:17):
No, I have 401k, too.
Speaker 5 (48:19):
And you do that?
Speaker 1 (48:20):
Oh, man, some of these are negative, man. I need
to get rid of them.
Speaker 4 (48:22):
The red.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
No, no, like a lifetime over. Like today, they're up $ 9,
but they're negative on the.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
I never look at the day.
Speaker 6 (48:30):
Like, I almost was going to buy some of these.
Speaker 1 (48:33):
I saw a video.
Speaker 6 (48:34):
Maybe I even sent it to you, Bobby, that we
should be buying. I bought that one. The magnets one?
Speaker 2 (48:38):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 4 (48:38):
Bought it.
Speaker 6 (48:40):
How's that doing?
Speaker 5 (48:40):
Hey, what the.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
I bought MP Materials.
Speaker 4 (48:42):
Stop.
Speaker 2 (48:43):
So, which is... MP Materials is... production and marketing of
rare earth specialty materials, magnets, and it is, for me, overall,
like $ 60.
Speaker 5 (48:55):
Amy, magnets, like sharper image? What do you mean, like
little toys on the desks?
Speaker 1 (49:00):
How many times are we going to go over this?
Why only Bobby?
Speaker 6 (49:02):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (49:03):
I'm a Mr. Investor over here.
Speaker 6 (49:05):
Okay, I'll start sending them to you, too.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (49:07):
Just get with our accountant, dude.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
Yeah, hit up Chase.
Speaker 5 (49:10):
You already know him.
Speaker 6 (49:11):
Well, he's not an accountant. He's like a financial planner person.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Eddie's neighbor has offered Eddie her house.
Speaker 5 (49:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (49:22):
What do you mean?
Speaker 5 (49:24):
We were just sitting outside, and we were talking about
her deck and how cool the deck looks, and there's
a fire pit back there and everything. And she goes, well,
anytime you want to come back here, you're more than welcome,
even if I'm not in town.
Speaker 8 (49:37):
Oh, dude.
Speaker 5 (49:38):
Excuse me? She's got a grill, dude. She's got one
of those grills that's built in.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
If she came home and you did not communicate with
her that you were going to use her grill and
fire pit, she just drove up, like say a Sunday evening,
and you and the whole family are back there, how
do you feel she would react?
Speaker 5 (49:57):
I think she would be surprised, but then I would
hit her back with, you said any time, even if
you weren't here.
Speaker 3 (50:05):
Right?
Speaker 5 (50:05):
That's what I'm asking you guys. Does she mean that?
Because she said, anytime you guys want, even if I'm
not here.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
That means anytime you want, you can go back there
and use the fire pit. I would say that means
anytime you want to use it, just let her know.
Speaker 5 (50:18):
Oh, not just walk in.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
And even if she's not there, she's probably going to say, yeah,
you can use it, no problem. But I would always
let her know.
Speaker 6 (50:24):
Definitely.
Speaker 5 (50:25):
But then she also said, I don't know, she's kind
of laughing a little bit, but she said, even my house.
Like the living room?
Speaker 1 (50:33):
The kitchen?
Speaker 5 (50:34):
That's crazy. And she's a single woman.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
Was she flirting with you?
Speaker 5 (50:38):
No, my wife was out there. She was next to me.
Unless she's flirting with us.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
I just wouldn't use anybody's anything without communicating with them
ahead of time. And also, if they say that, I
feel like that's almost, hey, we should get together sometime.
Speaker 5 (50:50):
But she volunteered it.
Speaker 7 (50:52):
I know.
Speaker 5 (50:52):
I'm just telling you how I feel. I'd love to
sit back there and use the fire pit.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
I think you probably could do that. I would feel
weird using it, though, because I don't want to clean
it up even better than it was before it started,
and I put in so much work. Now I've worked,
spent the evening, one, being so neurotic just about the
process of having to make sure that the kids are there,
the kids aren't breaking anything, they're not getting anything dirty.
If so, I've got to clean it.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
Correct.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
That neurosis would own me.
Speaker 5 (51:18):
The fire pit's nice, though, man. She has like 10
chairs around it.
Speaker 7 (51:22):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (51:22):
It's very nice.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
You've got to use it.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
If you invest, follow Lunchbox's investing tips. You can buy
you one of those.
Speaker 5 (51:29):
He's got cash in there.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
Cash.
Speaker 6 (51:31):
Well, it's not cash.
Speaker 5 (51:33):
Could make it into cash in one click.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
And so what happens? If I hit sell, it goes
to my, how do I get?
Speaker 2 (51:38):
You should know this, but it goes to your checking account.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
Yeah, your checking account's probably linked through that.
Speaker 7 (51:48):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (51:48):
I don't know how.
Speaker 5 (51:49):
It should. I don't think you'd be able to open it.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
Yeah, you can't really get money into it otherwise.
Speaker 1 (51:53):
I think I'd do a debit card.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Okay. But that debit card would go into your checking account.
Speaker 5 (51:58):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
Yeah. Cool, man.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
Congratulations.
Speaker 9 (52:02):
Hey, man, that's what I do. I'm just an investor.
Businessman making business deals trying to get that money.
Speaker 4 (52:08):
Honey.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
That's why it pays to read those financial reports. Are
you jealous?
Speaker 5 (52:11):
A little bit. FOMO, just from all you guys, looking
at your number. I mean, yours, you're just messing around. But, man,
that number, it's life-changing. You want it? For me, dude, life-changing.
Speaker 4 (52:24):
You want it?
Speaker 5 (52:25):
That number?
Speaker 7 (52:25):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (52:27):
Yes.
Speaker 9 (52:28):
I mean, you know what hurt is when Eddie goes,
that's cute.
Speaker 5 (52:30):
Well, because I had just seen a bigger number, way
bigger number.
Speaker 7 (52:34):
Ugh.
Speaker 5 (52:35):
You know what I mean? And then it's like if
someone is like, oh, you want to see my new car? Dude,
I just saw a Lamborghini. Like, why would I think
this is cool?
Speaker 7 (52:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
You don't have to do that to the guy.
Speaker 5 (52:46):
Just saying.
Speaker 2 (52:48):
You don't have to do that to the guy. And
that'll do her. Thank you guys for listening to the show.
Hope you have a great weekend. there's a bunch of
Bobby casts up on Netflix. The Lee and Morgan one
I thought was super fun. So just appreciate you guys
being here. Hope you have a good one and we'll
see you guys. Bye everybody.
