Speaker 2 (00:10):
Alisca. I hope you had a great weekend. Welcome to
Monday Show Morning, Studio Morning. Okay, let's go to voicemails.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Hey, Eddie, I don't think this is the best time
to do your salsa. See explosive diarrhea. Cilantro is one
of the things on the list that is a no go.
So I know you're worried about getting people sick. I
personally would not want to be making something with ingredients
that might carry the bacteria to cause the explosive diarrhea.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Just the thought.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Gosh, I've thought about this and it's just yeah, yeah.
I mean, I've already sold a few servants and no
one's called in with complaints.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
But it takes a week, I know. Also, are you
cooking the cilantro the peppers?
Speaker 1 (00:54):
The peppers are smoked, Yeah, so that goes in the grill.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Is that count smoked?
Speaker 1 (00:57):
It's three hundred and fifty degrees.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Yeah, anything about one hundred and fifty eight degrees fahrenheit. However,
if it's just the peppers, what about the cilantro.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Cilantro goes in for like just a little bit to
get a little smoke flavor. But I don't cook them
or else they just disintegrate.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
You should uh, I was gonna say, should market it
as no diarrhea salsa or you can guarantee they won't
get the diarrhea.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Do you think it's worth pulling the cilantrorot because that's
such a key.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Oh yeah, No, you need the cilantro and salsa rolling
the dice. Also, I don't want to eat anything that
has the word diarrhea on it.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Period it says no diarrhea, Yeah, then I'm in. I'll
eat anything that says no diarrhea is still on there.
If the restaurant said no diarrhea, everybody walk theme, I
go in.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Could it just be a picture of the diarrhea and
then the no slash, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Like poopamoj.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
Y.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
That's interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Gotta think about this one.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
I don't know. I think you keep going forward until
you get a case and it's cilantro really still, I mean,
because then they can't identify any salza. Well you've heard
people say, yeah, I know exactly where I got it from. No,
but they don't really know. Keep doing your thing. How
many have you sold? I've sold total of eight jars. Yeah,
(02:18):
and we're moving okay, okay, give me the next one please.
Speaker 6 (02:22):
Hey, Bobby is Andrew in which I know you said
not to tell you any secrets.
Speaker 7 (02:25):
But I got to tell you one.
Speaker 6 (02:27):
I got my pasta passed today, lunchbox, did you get yours?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Let me know this is not an ad. Thank you.
Speaker 7 (02:34):
I love the listeners say that too, like we do
not an ad. I did not get a pasta beat.
Did you try? You got online?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Awaited?
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (02:41):
I was five minutes late too, like the opening bell
or the opening bell.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, I bet they were gone in five minutes.
Speaker 7 (02:50):
Huh. Yeah. I got on there and I was sitting
around the house. I said, oh my gosh, it's time.
And I should have said an alarm and I didn't.
And I got on there one oh five and so sorry,
there are no more pasta passes available.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Well, this one then won't make as much sense. But
would you play that next one? So lunchbox talking about
the pasta pass and how I used to have it,
I want to know what you would typically tip even
though he already paid for the past Did he tip
on every meal? All right, I have a good day, guys,
But so you did have one at one point?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
I did.
Speaker 7 (03:19):
I used to have one. I had it for like
three or four years running. I mean, I think on
tip five bucks, I mean cash five, because you have
a cash five, but you're not using a credit card.
It's it's all free. So you just throw a five
down be like all right, thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Yeah, I'm not sure how much it costs, so I'm
not sure if that equal to twenty.
Speaker 7 (03:36):
Well, I mean the pasta pass was one hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
No, you don't do it on the pasta pass. You
do it on the food that it would have cost
you if you were normally in because wait staff is
doing that amount of work. It doesn't matter you didn't
get a posta pass anyway.
Speaker 7 (03:48):
Yeah, maybe maybe I'll reach out to Olive Gardens see
if they have an extra.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Oh, you're just gonna call them in, see if they
have an extra pasta pass laying around. Yeah locally.
Speaker 7 (03:57):
Yeah, I'll just say, hey, do you guys have one
that maybe someone didn't pick up.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
I don't think you pick him up at the store.
They mailed.
Speaker 7 (04:03):
They do mail to you today, all right.
Speaker 6 (04:05):
Next one, Hi, I have a question for Eddie.
Speaker 8 (04:09):
He's always saying how broke.
Speaker 6 (04:10):
He is that I'm on the podcast listening to you
guys take your vacations for the Fourth of July, and
I heard that he flew him and his family all
the way to Puerto Rico. And he's struggling so much financially.
How did he afford to fly all the way to
Puerto Rico. That's insane. I had family all the way
in Texas and I can't even afford to fly over there.
Love listening to the show.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Thanks, great question, Yeah, good question. So we kind of
lucked out on the flights. We bought the flights a
long time ago before all the fuel prices went up,
and we got them on points, so that was covered that.
The rentals were kind of expensive, you know, because we
were there for so long. But I wouldn't I'm not
saying I'm super broke. Like, it's not like I don't
have any money. I have money. Yeah, I just don't
(04:52):
have a lot of money to save, so like, and
I feel like the once a year vacation thing is
important to my family, so we kind of splurge a
little with there.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
You're not super broke, right, You're just broke.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
I'm a little broke.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
I don't think he's broke.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
He's not I mean, it feels like we're paycheck to paycheck,
you know.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
But I mean, but you don't know because you're not
dialed in.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
That's what my wife says.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, yes, she's doing the money.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
She does the money, but she also did all the booking,
so like I trust her with all that.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
You guys can leave us a voicemail anytime. We will
address anything. Some of those questions are so good that
I don't think I would have thought of them. Eight
seven seven seventy seven, Bobby, that's our voicemail number.
Speaker 5 (05:30):
It's anonamous sins the question to be because.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Man, hello Bobby Bones. Yesterday afternoon, I got an email
from one of my company's HR reps that my name
had been dropped of reference by an applicant for a job.
I haven't responded to the email because that applicant is
an ex girlfriend of mine from almost a decade ago.
We haven't spoken in years, and the breakup wasn't positive.
(06:04):
And I know people change, but all I can remember
is how crazy she was. I'm sure she could do
the job, but I'm not at all thrilled at the
thought of working with her daily. Do I respond at all?
Do I only give the bare minimum do I tell
the whole story? I'm torn as to what to do here.
SIGNED don't want to work with X is an interesting situation.
(06:26):
I wonder how close they'd.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Really be working right, Like how large is this company?
And do you have to interact with her and will
impact your work?
Speaker 2 (06:34):
It's also been so long, but she also was crazy,
but it's also been ten years, Like ther brain develops
a lot in tender.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
Why is she now coming to work there?
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Like?
Speaker 4 (06:44):
Is this a.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (06:47):
I don't think that wow? But also I can't completely
rule it out. I know.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
I mean, we don't know the whole story, so I
feel like HR needs to know the story so they
can assess.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
That a work story. If she's crazy, but he might
have done something to make her crazy. This is what
I would say. You need to hit up your company
HR person back and say, hey, look, I don't know
much about how she is as an employee. We dated
ten years ago. It didn't exactly am positive, But I
don't have anything bad to say about her as an
(07:17):
employee or good. It's kind of incomplete and that's all
I have.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
All I have is my experience with there is a girlfriend,
and it was terrible.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Most people, though that say the other person was crazy,
they were pretty involved in that as well. It's almost
never only one person is wholly crazy and the other
one is perfect, because crazy tracts crazy a lot of times. Yeah,
but there are cases in my I'm playing the odds.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Too, gone off a little the other direction, and the
other person's like, all right, I need to exit.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Agree.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Agree. I think you just be honest with the HR people.
But I don't think you go hard as she's insane.
It's ten years ago. I think you respond and go
I don't have probably the information you're looking for when
look for a hire. You say we had a relationship
ten years ago. It didn't end positively. But I don't
know enough about her as an employee, so I can't recommend.
(08:07):
But I also can't say don't hire her. That you've
done your part. You've been honest, you're not keeping it
from getting the job. And also you're not ignoring your
own HR.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Yeah, don't ignore it.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Yeah, so I think that's what you do. But you
also don't go hard to be like is you crazy?
That takes crazy? You don't do that.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
It's interesting because he has all the power, right, like
has all the power whether she gets this job or not.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
So well, he has the power that if she doesn't
get the job, he can't make her get the job, right, right.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Right, But I mean they're obviously interested, so if he
doesn't want her work in there, he can easily just
be like, no, she's graaty.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Sure, but don't do that. It's been ten years.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Yeah, I feel like we need to know the story.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Would you want an ex to come work?
Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's like, crazy, yeah, I do as I say, not
as I do. Crazy. Yeah, all right, there you go
close it out. Scammers are using face time to steal
people's money. I almost got scammed by this. So what
had happened for me? Once I googled this type of
beef jerky that I liked, I went to the page,
(09:12):
I put all my information in, and then I got
a call eight hours later going, hey, somebody's trying to
use your credit card. And I'm like, okay, well this
happens sometimes, and I think it's just a scam. I say, well,
what's my name? Boom, what's my address? Got it? Bam?
Speaker 1 (09:27):
They had it.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
All that beef jerky I was buying was a fake page.
Speaker 7 (09:31):
No way.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Then I clicked and I put all my information and
trying to buy beef jerky, so I put my name,
my address, my phone number, all of that information, and
so they have it all. That's how they knew the
answers to my questions see if it was a scam,
and they said, we need to see if your bank
account's been hacked. So we're going to FaceTime you and
(09:52):
watch your look at your phone through like a screen chair,
and then they facetimed me and I thought about hitting
and just because how did they I know all my information? Yeah,
but they're now trying to use FaceTime because they can
get you to log in and they can watch on
your phone through a screen shair and then they have
they can watch you type in your passport. They can
(10:12):
see all your bank account numbers and everything.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Is that what happened with Amy? When we try to
FaceTime the scammer.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
He was trying to zoom with me, and I don't
know what he was going.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
To do, asked the screenshair. Didn't he yeah?
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Yeah, yeah, And we never let him because we were
on him.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yeah, but we had zoomed with him. This will come
on your phone. It was like Facebook, you'll be talking
to them and they'll go, hey, we need to FaceTime
just to make sure that you're and then you're going, okay,
well if you and then it comes up right in
the middle of the call. I almost fell for that one.
It was that good because they had all the answers
to all my questions. Because I typed everything into a
(10:49):
site that I thought was my beach jerky side, you
never got your beef jerky Well, I went to the
rigid the real site, the real and then when I
reached out to them to make sure they were really
the thing, I called the eight hundred number on their
real site, said hey, do you guys know there's people
that they say, Yeah, they set up like a duplicate
site and they even paid for them for Google to
like lift it into the search and people go to
(11:11):
it all the time.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Wow, that's so.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
I mean, it's just crazy the way people think of
everything to make it so believable.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
They built a whole beef jerky side.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Look at that niche beef jerky scammers.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
I know they're scamming just the beef jerkey.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Just to beef jerky lovers, I know. I felt. So
if you get that FaceTime and they're going, hey, we
need to see you log into your bank account because
we want to make sure you're not scammed. Do not
accept that FaceTime, because I almost did, and I would
have been humiliated. It's already humiliating enough to say I
got scammed because of beef jerky.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
When my credit card number got hacked or where stolen whatever,
and I was on the phone with a credit card company.
They wanted my social security number, and I felt so
weird about it that I didn't give it to them.
That's okay to feel weird about it. And they said,
you're not going to give me your social security number?
I said, no, why would you need my social security
number to fix my credit card?
Speaker 2 (11:59):
You already have all my account information. Did you call
them or did they call you? I called them. There's
a little more safety in that.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
I know, But unless what if they're intercepting call?
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Okay, now, you guys are inventing ways to get scammed.
But to our listeners, there's a lot more security when
you're calling someone because you know for sure that's the
number of the place to call. Then you're receiving a
call and not you don't really know's calling you, right so,
but I agree, I'm not giving anybody.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
And then how did I get that number to call Google?
What if Google took me to a fake site? Beef jerkey,
don't fall for it, all right?
Speaker 8 (12:34):
Voicemail, Hi Bobby.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Good morning studio, Bobby.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
I was just listening to the show on Wednesday's part
two episode where you talk about not wanting to sign
an NDA. Would you sign an NDA to know the
truth about aliens?
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Love the show?
Speaker 4 (12:49):
Kristin from Baltimore.
Speaker 6 (12:51):
Thanks, No, not unless.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
I can talk about it with other people who have
signed the NDA. I don't need to know that if
I can't share it with anybody else. So no, I
need that information to be public. I call it non
human origin. I don't like to call him aliens. Oh right,
right right, because people just think little green men and
go with space. They don't. It's dimensional most likely.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
But yes, I'm kind of shocked by your answer. I
thought you would do it.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
That that that would only benefit me. I'm more of
a let's benefit humankind kind of guy.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Look at you and you think that it's not space,
You think it's solely dimensional.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
Well, he said many times the ocean.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Sure, but you're counting space out no, I count nothing out.
That's the thing. I know so little that I count
nothing out. But I do count out people who claim
to know more than they could possibly know. That's who
I count out. But no, I would not sign an
NDA to know if aliens were real? How miserable would
that be? If you knew? All of you? If you're
(13:57):
the story by Jimmy Carter back in the day. So
Jimmy Carter was in a meeting, and this is a
story has long been told by people in government since
and they went in and told him all about what
was happening with we'll call them aliens for the sake
of this. And he cried his eyes up, cried, cry,
cried because he did not expect that to be the
answer because of all the feelings that he had about
what was real and what wasn't.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Wow, I've not heard that now.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Who told that story?
Speaker 4 (14:22):
A lot of people are in government, they tell it.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Mike, did you look that up? Jimmy Carter told about aliens?
And would you read what it says. I'm sitting at
just on a counch right now. It says it is unverified.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
But a story claimed that the CIA told him that
extraterrestrials created major religions to manage humanity.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
He cries and cries and cries and cries and cries.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Wait what well phrasing it that way that would make
me cry?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Well say that again.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Mike says that extraterrestrials created major religions to manage humanity.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
So the non human organism's origin, non human organ they
created religion.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
To control humans. Yes, And when he learned that, he
crossed this.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Because it's so how did we know it didn't written?
Did it unclassified itself?
Speaker 2 (15:21):
And they tell us it's not written?
Speaker 4 (15:24):
And it's like a bunch of he said, She said.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yeah, and did one of these organs again, non human origin,
non human origins did? Like did they.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Tell us that the CIA did? Who knows what's up right?
Speaker 1 (15:38):
But the non human origin must.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Have told something they interrogated, all, yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Of course we have communication with them if they're real, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Like legit communication or forced community act, Like I know
and have signed the NDA.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I haven't. I'm not sign I know nothing of heard
a lot of things, but I know nothing.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Like they sit in a room and they're like, okay,
we'll tell you this, or they're like waterboard them.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
I don't understand your question.
Speaker 4 (16:02):
How did they get the information out at them?
Speaker 2 (16:05):
I would imagine we have with them of sorts. Sure,
also theories of people being abducted in the exchange, because
you know people will be abducted by UFO's finger quotes.
I mean that's part of an exchange that we have
made with them over years that we allow a certain
amount to happen.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Oh, exactly, Okay, they never asked for like unverified, right,
but they never asked for like a celebrity, Like I
feel like an exchange would be like that.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Would be, that would be Why would you want if
the humans are the same, You want some human that's
not going to raise any flag at all, Like.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
We want the guy that's won all the super Bowls.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
You don't you don't want You don't want that person.
You want to study someone who the study of them
is not going to make news, and you probably want
somebody crazy. So when they come back and they're even crazier,
you go, no, that's just crazy Gym being crazy gem
you know what I mean. I understand what you're saying. Yeah,
but I don't think that this is true. It's unverified,
that's all I'm saying, but I would not sign an
NDA to nobody.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Aliens wake up, wake up in the morning, and it's
turning the radio and the doctors. He's on time here
already in his lunchbox. More game too, Steve red and
it's trying to put you through the fog. He's running
(17:23):
this week's next year. The Bobby's on the box, so
you know what this.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Is the Bobby ball?
Speaker 7 (17:34):
All right?
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Time for the Morning Corny, The Morning Corny.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
What does the lizard smoke?
Speaker 2 (17:43):
It's okay, from morning.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
I thought sewing till now what does the lizard smoke?
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Mary? Iguana?
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Oh Iguana?
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Mary?
Speaker 7 (18:00):
That was the Morning corn.
Speaker 6 (18:04):
All right voicemail, Hey loved the podcast with John Stamos.
Thought that was fantastic. Just wanted to point out he
still hasn't followed you on Instagram number one.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
Number two.
Speaker 8 (18:15):
His wife's name.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
Is Caitlin and his son is named Billy. Is this
the Twilight Zone or what? Love the show?
Speaker 2 (18:22):
I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I don't think he knew that.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
Are y'all each other?
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Are we the same? Have mercy? And you always say
that John Stamos's wife is Caitlin McHugh Stamos and their
son is Billy Stamos.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
That is nuts.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
He's gonna think you're obsessed with him.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Oh yeah, he is. That's the super long game.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
Then.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah, I wait to get married until i'm the forty. Yeah,
because I want to marry who John Stamos married in
the person I marry her dad has to be named Billy.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
Well, I mean that's your cover story.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Yeah, that's what I did.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
We all believe it.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
No that I would be so psycho that I waited
for that perfect mix.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
Oh, I thought it just it worked out for you
that way.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
But sure, if I'm super psycho, it didn't work out
I waited. Yeah, that is crazy. No, he he hasn't
followed me on Instagram. I haven't followed him either. I
guess I don't run to Instagram to follow people. I
also need to get better at liking people's stuff. Amy's
the MVP at liking people stuff and like writing in
the comments because it helps engagement.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
For sure.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
I just sometimes I think I'm gonna do better, I'm
going to like people's I don't. I'm a scroller. I'm
just a taker. I'm an eater, maybe more of a
giver on Instagram. But I don't follow him either. But
I also don't want to make the first move there.
I follow him, he didn't follow me back then.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
I mean, think about the day he made the first
move with you when it came to phone numbers. So
it's okay for you to make the first move on Instagram.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
We have texted four times, right, it's your turn, But
why then follow on Instagram If you're already texting, we've
already elevated.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
I was like, it's a step backwards.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
I mean, text is more intimate, but.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
We are rural friends here. We text and we follow
each other on Instagram.
Speaker 7 (20:09):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
I'm thinking of this like I'm dating somebody new. I'm
just doing to spend too much thought into this.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
You guys can find that podcast. It's up on the Bobbycast.
You can watch it on Netflix or just on podcasts.
Go search for Bobbycast. The interview with John Stamos. It
was really good. It ended up being controversial, but he
was super cool. So thank you. This woman scammed one
hundred and seven Taylor Swift fans at more than two
hundred and sixty five thousand dollars by selling fake tickets
(20:35):
to that eras tour Oh oh man, she must have
had it dialed in on how that's so many over
one hundred. She had built a reputation as a trusted
ticket seller, so then she must have been selling other
tickets properly. But she made a ton of money. Fans
(20:55):
sent her money through e transfers after being promised her
tickets would arrive, and then they never got the tickets,
and so then people just started complaining. And so she's
probably gonna go to jail. I guess I hate a scammer.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
Yeah, and that's big time.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
And if you scam and it involves Taylor, she might
hire a hitman like Taylor. Taylor kind of takes care
of business, you know. So keep one eye open, lady.
But that's and you also don't think you're gonna get caught.
You do one hundred and seven of these, and you
don't think you're gonna get caught. That these people aren't
going to go I never got my tickets. Like, if
(21:31):
you do this, you got to do it from a
fake identity that they can't try. I don't want to
get by any ideas.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Just leave it there.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
But the fact that it was the same woman doing
this and she sold you. Guys ever bought something and
it was completely fake.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
I almost bought a cat.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
You got scammed until the scammer realized she was scamming us.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
Yeah, she was in Louisiana.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
I think yep.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
I was about to mail a check and then we
bust her.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Wait did we help buster for sure?
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (22:04):
No, no, no, y'all definitely helped. So then I got
a real one from California. She's real, she's legit. I
got her. She's a little messed up, but she's fine.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
I've had friends that have bought iPads. It's been a
few years from gas stations. I got an iPad and
it was either an old busted winter or like a
block a cutting board. Yeah, you gotta open that stuff.
Speaker 7 (22:27):
I got a Wrigley Field. We're trying to sit in
the bleachers. There were six of us. Found a guy
outside selling tickets bleacher siats, bleacher seats. He charges seventy
five dollars apiece, and we're.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Like, yeah, we're going in.
Speaker 7 (22:40):
We walk up to the gate.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Those are valid tickets, goes, did you find him?
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Gone? So he makes one sale, then he runs away,
moves to another corner, and there's you know, I mean,
but another corner. I'd be running to every corner trying
to find that dude. I think I'm high tailing out
of there completely.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
That's probably good if he's such a show up and
do that to he falls for six pull six times
seventy five. He probably went home for the night. He's like,
I'll be back the next.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Day trying to do your onet. You guys can go
back the next day, try to find him.
Speaker 7 (23:07):
No, I mean paid cash, you know what I mean.
We were so excited. Yeah, I'm gonna sit in the bleacher.
It's gonna be so cool. If you would have seen him,
would you beat him up?
Speaker 3 (23:16):
No?
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Would you have done?
Speaker 7 (23:19):
I mean I was like nineteen years old, and that's especial,
especially when you beat somebody. No, no, no, Chicago's a little different, guys, Okay,
I mean, if you want to see the character that
I was dealing with, it was not someone that looked like,
you know, I could beat up.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
So should you have bought tickets from a character you
were dealing with?
Speaker 7 (23:39):
Well, you see you or not?
Speaker 2 (23:40):
You were nineteen though, I was?
Speaker 7 (23:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Had he ever bought anything? And it wasn't real no, I've.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Been pretty lucky. But I mean every time I buy
like those you know, sports tickets where it's exchanged and
somebody's gonna email you and the email never comes. Oh
it's it's stressful. But I've every time it's come, whether
it's late or not, it comes.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
We bought this whale. It's a whale. It's like this
big I'm doing my hands like a circle, fingertips touching,
and it's in you. It's electronic and it turns different
colors and it spits water out and you put in
the bathtub when the baby's taking a bath. And it
was like eight bucks and it should have been garbage.
It's the coolest thing we've ever bought it. It's the
opposite of that. And it floats and it like it
(24:20):
drives by if you charge it. I thought this is
going to be garbage. So this is the opposite of
what we're talking about, where you buy something cool and
it's nothing. I bought this my wife did, thinking it
was nothing, and it came I wanted in my bath.
It lights up all different colors and it spits water
out of its head. You just gotta charge it. It's
the coolest thing. I've ever seen like baby toys rock
(24:41):
like the good ones. So yeah, yeah, I would link it,
but I didn't buy it to get a give to
my wife. Eddie was telling us his son needed braces,
but then he's said, do I even spend money on that?
And we told him that should be a priority. What
did you do?
Speaker 1 (24:59):
He got the brace?
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Why do you say it?
Speaker 1 (25:01):
Like, because man, it's gonna cost me an arm and
a leg, Like it's gonna cost me a lot of money.
And apparently because at first I thought like, oh, this
is like just the orthodonist knows the or the dentist
knows the orthodonis. He's making money off of it. It's
a scam. Right, turns out it's not scam. His teeth
are pretty messed up, like the braces he has, not
just the traditional braces, wires connecting to a tooth that's
(25:22):
up here. Like that's it was crazier than I thought.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
So you're happy you did it? Then? I mean no, not,
I mean how are we going to get you on? Yes?
Speaker 1 (25:30):
When he like gets a hot wife, then I'm like, hey,
it was worth it, you know, like maybe he wouldn't
have gotten a good looking wife if his teeth were
all Jack, you sound creepy. No, no, no, I'm serious, like.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
It's so to you, to you, it's only worth it
if he gets a hot wife. And I'm assuming you
mean to him correct.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Because what I'm thinking is like, what I'm.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Thinking is it did sound like EDI's like he gets
a hot wife. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you should know how
it sounded. I was just covering you there.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Yeah, that makes sense. I get it, But.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
We're not his just overall confidence in life, well, which
would probably get him a good yeah, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
So I don't know. I just felt like, what does
bad teeth do? Like a lot of British people have
bad teeth.
Speaker 7 (26:12):
Yeah, they don't do braces over there. I don't think.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Well that's old. They a bit more now, it's a
bit more.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Yeah, Michael Strahan has got a big gap doing pretty good.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
But that gap really works for him because he's very famous.
Also was really great playing in the NFL. Didn't keep
him from the Yeah, you should just be happy. Do
you have the means to get your son braces?
Speaker 1 (26:36):
I mean I barely have the means, but we're doing
we're doing it, and you know what, I think, it's
worth it. I mean his teeth. I looked at him
the other day. They're pretty bad.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Did it hurt when they put him on?
Speaker 1 (26:48):
So he's man like, what hurts is he's got this
thing where like you have to tighten under like the
roof of the mouth. There's like a key that you
put in there and you have to tighten it. Mike,
do you know what this is?
Speaker 7 (26:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:59):
It sucks, dude, And so we do it every day
and he like, almost, you have to do it.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
It's not they have to do it at the Dennis
every night.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
I have to tighten it. I have to go in
there with a little key and do one turn, full
turn and it makes all the teeth move.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
And how long does he have to wear?
Speaker 1 (27:14):
Those two years? Braces?
Speaker 2 (27:16):
I think are gonna last about two years. I'm happy
you did it. He's going to be so happy he
did it. Yeah, he might even think it's cool. Right now,
it gets kind of cool because like, yeah, look at me,
I have braces.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
But then see, what's what's bothering me? Too? Is like
when he's playing basketball because he's in a summer league,
he keeps messing with his teeth the whole time.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Well, it's new.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
It's like, dude, focus on the game. Quit messing with
your teeth.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
If you get like a cut on your lip, what
do you do the whole time You're like touching it
with your Tongueah, because it's new, eventually to be normal.
I'm happy you got on braces.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Yeah I am too. I just like it's gonna cost
a lot of money.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
It's awkward that it's because you want a hot wife
for him.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
I just want a good life for him.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
And I think that, oh, maybe you just miss misspoke.
Then you make good life.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Well, you know, like a good looking way.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
They're very cold.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Yeah, see how you confuse those?
Speaker 2 (28:02):
And do you other kids need them?
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Not yet?
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Multiple? Not yet. I think the little downs when they
come off you're one, give them to the next one
and you do that? Can you do that? You can't? Right? No? No,
all right, all right, some more voicemails.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
Team Stevenson.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
Amy should have taken him to in and Out if
they really had nothing to do and Amy just didn't
want to wait in line.
Speaker 7 (28:23):
Lame.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Maybe that's part of the experience.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Let's go get those double doubles. Okay, love you?
Speaker 4 (28:29):
By okay, I mean I guess we just do life differently.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
How do you do it?
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Well, I would rather not. I get that that's part
of the experience, but that just wasn't part of our plan.
And I can be, you know, flexible, like oh on
a whim. But I did have a We did have
a friend and her son stopping by later that evening.
We probably would have still been sitting in line, So
y'all just start getting the full picture. But I can
(28:57):
be cool like that, and I can be breezy, but
that's just what was gonna work that night. And I
would really rather go on a Tuesday at two pm.
I mean, there's a little line.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
When you can literally get in and out.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Yeah, this is a good point. You know, you should
change the name of it for a minute whenever.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
But I don't think that this defines me as a
parent overall that I'm I don't know all I heard
from that guy, Like, I don't know what y'all heard,
but I heard Amy sucks as a mom.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Yeah, we heard that a little bit.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
I don't think it was a blanket. Amy's a bad parent.
It's just in that moment.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
I don't even think you suck because I'm out too.
I've seen the line it's it's it's two hours. You know.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
It was crazy.
Speaker 7 (29:31):
I wouldn't wait two hours or anything.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
I didn't stay for a long time.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
If it's over an hour, they flip the name of
it out to stay play never do.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
Oh my god, I just got my hair done and
I got a money piece. Amy.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
I don't like it.
Speaker 8 (29:48):
So I feel you're paying girl.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Yeah, I did not like mine either.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Explain the money piece.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
It's where they highlight like the front two pieces of
your hair a little brighter than maybe the the rest
of your highlights, and they really pop.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
It's a weird term. Yeah, it sounds like a yeah,
we know.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
So I mean they grow good news. Is it grows out?
Or you can go back and tell them like she
puts that part out, don't cut that part out. But
I can't remember exactly how I handled it. I do
know eventually, like maybe I went back for a trim
or something. I was like, hey, can you put some toner.
It's like just so when they're renting your hair, they
can put this toner on that will calm everything down
(30:28):
sort of, even your hair back out.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Is the money piece trending right now?
Speaker 4 (30:35):
Well, I've got my I didn't even ask for them.
My hair person just added them last summer and I
whenever my hair was being dried, I was.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Like, that's the first roue and money pieces don't do it.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
But I guess everybody was getting them, so she just
sort of threw it in as like surprise, Okay, next one.
Speaker 8 (30:54):
I had a situation happened to me today that made
me think of lunch Box, and I want to know
if he would have called none one more since that's
his favorite hobby. There was a large World to phone
pull float in the middle of the highway that vehicles
were dodging and backing up traffic that could have caused
an accident. I called the non emergency line for the
state police and they took care of it within about
ten minutes. I don't think that warrants a nine one
(31:15):
one call. Well, you guys think love the show.
Speaker 7 (31:19):
That's pretty much a nine one one call. That's a
very serious hazard in the middle of a highway. I
think you have to call nine one one because that
gets a quicker response.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
Well, nine one one always gets a quicker response.
Speaker 7 (31:31):
You're right there, because if cars are dodging it, you
got people that is a recipe for a pile up,
and you can't have that happen.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
I would think it's more of a four to one
one call if you have one of those, or five
to one to one or whatever that secondary line you
call is if it's not a somebody's life in danger emergency.
But he's right, if you call nine one one, they
will react faster, good or bad.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
Yeah, I mean it could cause.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
And then you got a lot of problems right right,
And you don't want.
Speaker 7 (31:59):
To do that exactly.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Out of things are causing an accident.
Speaker 7 (32:01):
But one of those big pool floats in the middle
of that, you gotta get rid of it.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Like if you see someone with a gun nine on one.
They're not shooting anyone, they.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Could that that that is a single finger pull to murder. Yeah,
a pull float. I think you probably even drive over it.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
No, I think it's like one of those lily paths
like they have to give to anchor downs when I'm
imagining and it flies up over the windshield and someone
pile up, I mean, and be trouble. That's nine one
one for you.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
For me, it would be whatever that secondary number is,
give me number eight. I have a question instead of
giving Tuesday. How about a Wondering Wednesday wondering.
Speaker 9 (32:38):
If y'all could help me talk my wife in the
going on y'all's cruise.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
That would be awesome.
Speaker 5 (32:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Should we do it here?
Speaker 1 (32:47):
That's funny?
Speaker 2 (32:49):
Or should we or should we call her?
Speaker 7 (32:51):
I think it's probably better talk to her.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
And then we're trying to convince her to go on
the cruise them too.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
Yeah, he's wondering if we'll do it, and I think
we will.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Well, should we do that on Wednesday show? Hey scoob
to Steve, Yeah, dude, I think we can get this
on Wednesday, on Wondering Wednesday.
Speaker 10 (33:07):
I think you probably can do it whenever you want.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Well, there's a literation and I like that.
Speaker 10 (33:11):
Okay, then I like the Wondering Wednesday. I'll roll with that.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
So I'm Wondering Wednesday. Mate, we have this guy's number.
Speaker 10 (33:16):
Yeah, we'll get it for you.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
I don't need the number. I just need you to
call and see if you can get the wife on.
Speaker 10 (33:20):
Yeah, yeah, we'll get it, so we'll get her on
the line.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Yeah, okay, So on Wondering Wednesday, hopefully we'll be able
to convince her to come on the cruise. But then
we're not We can't give her like free passes.
Speaker 10 (33:29):
Oh my god, No, she just pay for it.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
No, he's no, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Yeah, I know, I know, but I don't want people
to think since we're calling them, we're surprising them with
a free.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Well he wasn't asking for that, man, I know.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
But people think, well, if somebody calls me for my show,
are they going to give me ten thousand dollars or
a free So we're gonna be delicate there.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
You just say it over and over. This isn't a
free trip.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
Yeah, your husband just is wondering if we'll convince you
to go, because it's wondering.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Wondering Wednesday, Yes, voice mail us anytime, eight seven, seven
seventy seven, Bobby, how many of the seven Wonders of
the world can you name? YouTube could play together. But
I was talking about this on my sports show. It
just kind of brought it up and we started trying
to name them. You've heard that phrase right then the world.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
Yeah, but I don't know that I know exactly what
that applies.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
To things in the world that are are So it's
not just about size.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
So it's like the Grand Canyon.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
The Grand Canyon is not one of the Seven Wonders
of the World.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
It's a good guess, though it is. I feel like
I know one for sure.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
That's the Pyramids of Giza.
Speaker 4 (34:35):
So no, the Northern Lights.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
No, okay, the Pyramids are it was one of the
ancient seven Wonders. Oh, I guess there's an ancient.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
And like a new like a modern day.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
No, but they're all old too. But pyramids didn't make that.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Okay, what about like the Eiffel Tower.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
No not, I thought the same thing. That isn't why
struck wild? Deceit now some of the structures too, that's
not wild to see because of its size. It's just
crazy because it's been on TV. You're like, oh, yeah,
pretty well, oh uh, they don't know how Stonehenge. They
don't know how that was done. No, I know it's hard.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
So some of it could be Oh oh oh look Colosseum.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Yes, that's one. The Colosseum. Yes, so you got one there,
which is pretty crazy. The Colosseum's wild. It's the largest
surviving amphitheater of the ancient Roman world. Okay, one down.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa did not make it. The
(35:41):
this they say you can see from space even though
you can't.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Oh, the Great Wall of China.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
Correct, that's one. This is really bright and cool. It's
a building we never been. We never have been to
this country, none of us have. Oh it's pretty shiny
and crazy looking.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
Oh is it an do you bai?
Speaker 2 (36:00):
No?
Speaker 1 (36:02):
The building shiny and crazy looking?
Speaker 2 (36:03):
It's yeah, it's just like super super cool and we've
never been. It's made of monumental marble.
Speaker 4 (36:09):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Oh, taj Mahal makes the list. Yes, good job in
Agra India.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
The next is basically a big Jesus.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
Is that uh Rio de Janeiro, the.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
Christ, the Redeemer. That's it, the big Jesus with the
spread arms.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Yeah, it is the our deco statue of Jesus Christ
and Rio Dejonio. That's correct.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Good.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
Good. The the other ones I don't even know what
they are, Petra, huh so I learned about this when
we do this. It's a city that's carved into the stone,
like the buildings are carved into the rocks.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
And where is this?
Speaker 2 (36:49):
It's in Jordan, not Michael, the country Jordan. It's an
ancient archaeological city in southern Jordan, carved into rose sandstone
cliffs and set in the desert. All all the buildings
are carved into the stone. You go, everything's in the raw.
It's crazy. So I don't even I don't even know
about that. Another one's Machu Picchu.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Yeah, that's in Peru.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
What do you know about that?
Speaker 1 (37:12):
It's so where the Incas lived and it's on top
of mountains.
Speaker 7 (37:16):
Pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
How do you know that?
Speaker 1 (37:17):
Archaeology class in college.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Machu Pichu is an ancient Inca citadel hi in the
Andes Mountains of Peru, renowned for its remarkable stone architecture
and dramatic mountaintop setting.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
That looks so cool.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Okay, good, good, good. Uh there's two other ones, don't
that is? One other one h Chichen. It's a I'm
probably saying that wrong, Chitsen. It's a Oh is that
in China? No, I'm probably not putting the right accent
on it either. It is one of the most important
(37:50):
archaeological sites. It is in Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula. It
looks like a pyramid, but it's got big steps and
like a square on the top of it.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Okay, familiar. Nope, never been there.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
No, I know you haven't been there. I'm just saying,
are you familiar, because I wasn't f where.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
That shooter was.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
No, that was in Mexico City. I've been to that one.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
It's a is one of the most important archaeological sites
of the Mayan civilization, located in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
It flourished for centuries, is a major political, religious, and
commercial center, and is recognized today as UNESCO World. I
don't know. It looks cool, but that's what's up. Those
are the seven Yeah, that would have been toughing. Yeah,
Petra Christ there, Dymer, Machu Picchu Chichen. It's a coliseum
(38:32):
in taj Ma Hall. Yeah, we got a few of those.
I just didn't know if you guys knew them.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
And you've seen the coliseum right.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Of those, I've only seen the Colisseum, and it is
worth it. I haven't even been to sing of the places,
but the old ones used to be the pyramids, the
hanging gardens of Babylon. I don't know what that is.
Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Nope, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
And so what happened they figured those wonders out and
then they did make the list anymore.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
Maybe they just needed a new list. It's like you
do a new people best Guitar Players in Country magazine.
He's doing new ones so people subscribe and fight about it.
You've been have you guys been any of those? Nope,
call Sam's cool. We should go to that one. You
should go Tomora.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
I'd love to do.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
I love to go to my see if I have
enough points and I'll send you out there. Are you
getting hit up for people asking for Morgan's job?
Speaker 4 (39:25):
Yeah, I've seen some of my dms, you know how
like the DM I'll give you a teaser headline, like
you can read a little bit of what the message is,
and it's I would love Morgan's job. And I'm like,
they're asking for Morgan's job. And I'm not opening it because.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
Yeah they are, because they left one letter off that
he does.
Speaker 4 (39:42):
No, it's all Instagram. I'll let you see.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
Oh I know, but I want Morgan's jaw.
Speaker 4 (39:48):
I know what else could they be exactly? So I'm
not opening it because I don't want to be awkward,
because I don't know how to handle that. And well,
I mean I'm not even hiring for a Morgan's job.
But then I'm gona feel pressure to pass it along
to whatever we're doing.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
I know them. I don't tell people, you know.
Speaker 4 (40:06):
I don't like opening it up and then not having
a solution or an answer. Rather just not open it.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Do they know if you open it?
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Yes, it depends if it's on your general folder. No,
if you don't accept it, you can read everything without
accepting it. Read it, well, she did Morgan's job. They're
not much else there.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
Yeah, or like I'm qualified for Morgan's job, or yeah,
you're getting who are you all hiring for Morgan's job?
Speaker 2 (40:32):
I'm getting a lot of those two. I look at them, well, yeah.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
Like you actually can fill the Bobby can fulfill the position.
I can't. So I feel like they're probably sending them everywhere,
which is smart, But I don't know the plans. So
I just the.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Plan is right now, we just have somebody in a
different city doing it. It's like listening along and Eddie
sends them files and they just load stuff.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
That's the plan for now.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
For now, we don't I don't have a plan right now.
We're gonna do this, see how it works and go
from there because people hitting me up. We don't have
a plan. Eventually we'll post a job right Scuba.
Speaker 10 (41:17):
I think so, but I don't know. Well, we'll see.
Speaker 9 (41:19):
I mean this may go great because I think this
is gonna be great because this person is not here
and so they're fully able to focus on it and
turn around videos and stuff for us, like Hella quick
and he's out of New York and he's great and
I like him.
Speaker 10 (41:31):
So I kind of like this what we have going
on right now.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
So it's digital. You don't got to be here in
the room. So we'll see how it goes. Who's gonna
take pictures though?
Speaker 1 (41:40):
On here?
Speaker 10 (41:40):
I'll take pictures.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Lunchbox no whatever, Morgan was there. I used to take
him in there.
Speaker 10 (41:46):
Actually, she gave me compliments on my photos.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
Lunchbox shows up with one of those.
Speaker 10 (41:50):
He's definitely not take it, guys.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
It's it'll be ready in an hour.
Speaker 10 (41:53):
He's got to do.
Speaker 7 (41:53):
We want to drop it off the photo man, and
we have I have them. I wouldn't know how to
upload him, that's true. I do have the camera.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Put that down.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
Your came right down. Put it down, and you need to.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
Take the lens cap off before you do anything.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
I know that was a joke. We don't know that
you know it's a joke. I know there's a liner
pushing all the buttons going. I want to make a
click all I got to turn it on, don't it on?
Speaker 7 (42:18):
So we.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
Who knows, you guys just may actually be also good dude.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
I got a text from someone and that was awkward
because you can't like ignore that one. That's a straight text.
Speaker 5 (42:29):
No, you can.
Speaker 4 (42:30):
But I know, so how did you handle it?
Speaker 1 (42:33):
The first thought was like, man, the body's not even
cold yet, you know. And at first I'm like Amy,
you know, when I first read it, I saw I
saw like I saw that Morgan left. That's what I
saw first, And I was gonna I thought I was
gonna say, like, well, you tell her bye from me,
and that I loved whatever. It wasn't that at all.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
It was it somebody you know know I.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Met him before, and it's like they're related to a
friend of mine, so it's kind of weird. And I
just said, like, you know, I don't know what's going
on right now. I'll keep you updated.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
Yeah, you guys, literally that's the truth. Right now, there's
nothing going on and put it all on me. Look,
we're just kind of waiting for Bobby to tell us
the next steps. We don't know anything. That's what you
can say. No, just no, but you don't know it's no.
Speaker 7 (43:16):
Or look at their socials and man, they're really good
at social You could send it to Bobby.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
I'd prefer not. Then I gotta ignore you guys. So yeah,
I'm getting a lot of those two and it's nice
people are reaching out. I don't. I'm not getting text
about it. So yeah, the text was weird, like nobody's
reaching out it. Yeah, that intimately saying I want the job,
but there may not be a job. We may, you know,
for what the job is, you can do it from
(43:40):
somewhere else we think, we think, but we don't know.
But there you go. Eddie had to get a burner phone,
which sounds like he's up to no good. Why do
you think Eddie had to get a burner phone?
Speaker 4 (43:52):
Oh, for his source of business? But why are we
calling it a burner phone?
Speaker 2 (43:56):
He's calling it a burner phone.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
Kind of what it is, guys, Like, I have a
second No, it's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Does it go into your same phone or did you
get two phones.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Now it goes into my same phone. Okay, that's not
a burner, it's just a different app.
Speaker 4 (44:08):
But is it called that. There's like a burner app.
Speaker 1 (44:11):
It's not called burner, but it's a whole different phone number.
Speaker 2 (44:14):
That'd be weird if my husband had all of a
sudden the new line. Did you tell your wife?
Speaker 1 (44:18):
I haven't told her yet.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
You have to share that just so it doesn't look weird.
Speaker 4 (44:21):
My ex husband had those.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Whoa your ex husband different lifestyle?
Speaker 4 (44:26):
Yeah, but that's how I knew about that as.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
They were No, he was like real, el no, but
like this job yeah yeah, military, like yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
And then sometimes if I was communicating with different people
like he would want me to, He's like, oh, let's
use let's make up a number to do it from
this and then we'd enter it in.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
But it does feel you have to tell your wife.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
Yeah, I don't even know my number though I.
Speaker 4 (44:49):
Was thinking about you need it for business?
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Well, I just kind of I call them or I
text them through it.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Okay, how do you know that the number reaching out
to you is not reaching out to your main number.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
I tried it with my friend here. I was like
text I'm gonna text you, text me back, call it.
Make sure it's not connected to anything of mine.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
But if you accidentally call from the wrong number, oh yeah,
that's true.
Speaker 1 (45:10):
No, because it's a whole different app, it doesn't It
doesn't even mean. It doesn't even merge with your phone stuff.
You have to go into that separate app to do anything.
Speaker 2 (45:17):
And you're using this because you're selling so much salsa
and you don't want to get people your real number.
Speaker 1 (45:20):
Yeah. And what's funny is some people don't believe it's me.
They're like, who is this. I'm like, no, it's really Eddie,
like I have your salsa.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Because they're so starstruck though, They're just.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
Kind of like, you wouldn't call me, you wouldn't give
me your number. And I'm like, yeah, I trust you
one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
Does that cost money?
Speaker 1 (45:37):
No?
Speaker 2 (45:37):
Free?
Speaker 1 (45:38):
Noine, no none?
Speaker 2 (45:39):
What I thought about you got a whole new number
for free? Yes? Why would people not use this and
like stalk people? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (45:45):
Why would you not do this all the time?
Speaker 1 (45:46):
So I thought it'd be funny to prank my wife
with it.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
Oh god, you know, it's just good.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
See how long I can take it?
Speaker 2 (45:53):
How'd that work.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
I haven't done it yet. Oh I haven't done because
she has no idea about it, so like I should.
I wanted to introduce SIT to her, but I kind
of wanted to be friendly.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
About it, so like, what's the prank idea?
Speaker 1 (46:03):
I don't know, maybe just like sub girl and then
she she's like, ooh, what's up? And then you're like,
oh no, yeah, you want to meet how you good?
Speaker 2 (46:12):
Don't honey potter because she may take the honey.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
No sales though through the burner her phone.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Yeah, I've had a couple of sales through the burner
phone if you dropped the food off. Yeah, we've met.
We've met in person. It's cool, dude, it's cool, and
everyone is just it's pretty normal so far. I'll have
anyone that's trying to be one. Guy was like, hey,
can I get some like Bobby bonees, Bobby Bone's show
stuff like T shirts like relax, dude, this isn't a
bodybone show. Thing is a salsa? You want salsa? How
(46:41):
many do you want? How much you sell for ten
dollars a jar you want.
Speaker 7 (46:45):
I'll take it for free.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
I think you should raise the price a little bit.
Speaker 4 (46:49):
I'll take some after the parasite situation's.
Speaker 2 (46:53):
Over, diary is all clear.
Speaker 1 (46:55):
When does that get confirmed? Like when do they say,
like all right, all clearness.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
It always dies down, the headlines stop and it still exists.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
Yeah, right right, the parasite still out there.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
What's your goal with this version of your business man?
Speaker 1 (47:09):
It's gone from like, you know, just a few little
DM orders to now, like I talk to someone who
has a business and they asked if I'd want to
do a pop up at their business. I was like,
that's interesting.
Speaker 10 (47:21):
Let me start.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
Let me sit on that for a little.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Bit and start doing things.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
And then I'm thinking, like do I get a tent,
you know, and sit outside the business and then like
bring the smoker out there and make it in real time.
That'd be kind of cool too.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
For social that'd be cool.
Speaker 1 (47:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can have the smoke filling the
street up by the business. That'd be kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
This guy might do it.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
He might leave next No, no, no, I love this
too much.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
I mean at some point that you got to make
a tough decision.
Speaker 1 (47:47):
Dude. If I start making millions, I'm gone.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
You're not gonna make millions because you have to do
all the cooking, like so much time at your But
you come.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
Up with a plan like that poppy girl shows up
in my feet a.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
Lot make the plan. Look what you're talking to whoa,
Oh he's.
Speaker 4 (48:01):
Going to a rushmating where she's like, Hey, I just
started making this drink in my kitchen and now I've
sold it to Pepsi for two billion dollars.
Speaker 1 (48:10):
Yeah, like when you guys were talking about that that
drinking point.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
Called Pepsi today.
Speaker 4 (48:14):
No, he'd probably end up selling it to.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
I know you're not selling it to Pepsi.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
You know what I might do though, Well, go to
that grocery store downstairs. You want to put this on
your shelf, just go to it.
Speaker 2 (48:24):
ID just go to somebody working that Registery, how do
I get this on the shelf? Or just go on
the shelf and stand by it.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
Yeah, and then just hold my phone there and want
to buy.
Speaker 2 (48:33):
It and put a little sign up ten dollars venmo me,
I'm the guy that made it.
Speaker 4 (48:37):
Paste Peconte may want to buy you.
Speaker 2 (48:40):
Wow, Bobby Bones show bonehead, sorry up today.
Speaker 7 (48:44):
This story comes from Saint John's County, Florida. Two people
were driving around on July sixth, and they were driving
down the highway with Roman candles out the window, boom boom,
shooting them at other cars. And when they got pulled over,
the cops said what are you doing? They said, man,
we had extra fireworks we had to get rid of.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Oh that was their reason. Yeah, that was I was
waiting for more.
Speaker 7 (49:05):
No, No, they had to get rid of fireworks.
Speaker 2 (49:08):
You know, since it was the sixth, they probably weren't
lying they got to get rid of those. If it
were the third, I would think they were lying. So
then what happens.
Speaker 7 (49:17):
They got charged with shooting deadly missiles at a moving vehicle.
Speaker 2 (49:22):
It feels a little harsh. You shouldn't do that, but
it's not really a deadly missile.
Speaker 1 (49:26):
I mean, you could really hurt someone.
Speaker 2 (49:28):
It's not a deadly missile.
Speaker 7 (49:29):
It get sort of fire.
Speaker 4 (49:30):
It's not a missile, well like a mini missile.
Speaker 2 (49:32):
That's weird. We should change that law. That's not a
deadly missile because now I feel like justice for the
fireworks shooter when I shouldn't. He you can't do that
because it's dangerous.
Speaker 7 (49:38):
All right, I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Speaker 2 (49:43):
Did you see the thing about if you want to
hang up on somebody and it doesn't look like you
hung up on them.
Speaker 4 (49:47):
Yeah. Yeah, it's a tip that I saw. You can
put your phone into airplane mode and they'll think the
call just.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
Dropped because it says instead of call ended, like call
lost or something.
Speaker 4 (50:00):
Yeah, so they were going to think, oh, we got disconnected,
not that someone just hung up on.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
I'm gonna call you. Let's get this work, all right,
I'm calling Amy.
Speaker 4 (50:08):
Now, this is you calling?
Speaker 10 (50:11):
Yep?
Speaker 1 (50:16):
Answer it? Oh what you gotta pick it up?
Speaker 2 (50:19):
Are you not going to answer the phone?
Speaker 4 (50:27):
Okay, I'm ready. I answered Hello.
Speaker 2 (50:29):
Okay, now go to airplane mode and just hang up.
And I want to see what it says. So right now,
just says Amy fifteen seconds sixteen seconds.
Speaker 4 (50:36):
So I'm gonna go airplane mode. I'm clicking it.
Speaker 2 (50:40):
Yep, call ended.
Speaker 4 (50:43):
I thought I was supposed to say call loss.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
Because I saw that too, and I didn't know. That's
why we needed to try it here on the air
so our other listeners don't fall for that.
Speaker 1 (50:51):
Thank you for trying it.
Speaker 4 (50:52):
That was a very viral post.
Speaker 2 (50:53):
Try mine me call you.
Speaker 4 (50:55):
Yeah, don't forget to answer.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
Yeah, I saw the same post.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
Wait, I gotta take my phone off airplane.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
Oh now you let me get all its bars bag
and don't forget the answer? What Amy was just looking
at her phone like, yeah, we're calling I.
Speaker 4 (51:10):
Could okay, I'm ready hit me up.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
All right, here we go answering it. Okay, so I'm
gonna go to airplane mode three two.
Speaker 4 (51:20):
I just hung up. I didn't say anything, didn't say anything,
didn't say call ended. Did you say the words call
ended at the top of the screen. Yeah, mine didn't
say anything.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Nothing that could count as a call lost.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
I would be like, hello, what happened, Bobby?
Speaker 1 (51:33):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (51:33):
I mean I still I say, don't don't fall for
it though, like from our experiment, it doesn't work like
the internet said.
Speaker 4 (51:39):
Yeah, because but either way, like I wouldn't know even
if it said call ended, I would.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
Think, Well, what you do is you talk in the middle. Yeah, Yeah,
that's it. That's how you do with anything else.
Speaker 7 (51:50):
Yeah, what I was.
Speaker 2 (51:52):
And then that's when you hang up, and then it
sounds like you were cut off or you can hit
him with that going through a tunnel we did. You're
in Arkansas, Dad, I like that. Now.
Speaker 4 (52:02):
A lot of the sales. Things are automated now, or
they sound like they're human, but they're not, because I
don't think twice about just hanging up.
Speaker 2 (52:11):
Yeah, you're hanging up on humans easier because you think
it mentally.
Speaker 4 (52:14):
For me, if I know it's a human, I struggled
with that because I'm like, oh, I picture them like
at their house making call after call, or at their
cubicle making call after call, and how depressing it is
to have people just hang up on them. But now
most of them are robots, you.
Speaker 2 (52:30):
Know, picture sad Ai. Oh, I'm not yet. We're done.
Thank you guys. We will see you tomorrow by everybody.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
Bobby Bone Bobby Bone.
