Speaker 1 (00:00):
What Powerball nine hundred million bucks? So we're getting close
to a billion. No winter and Saturday Night's drawing nine
hundred and five million. I don't know, we're getting up
there close enough to where it may be worth it
to me. I'll wait till a billion you do.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yeah, we'll wait a little anyware.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
A your time?
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Billion bucks to get you out of bed in the morning. Dude,
how amazing would it be?
Speaker 4 (00:21):
The window.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
You see they're adding, like the UK and one of
these drawings, it's so stupid. That's a lot of fun.
It makes the money more.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
But but then that you're fighting against more people, You're right,
that's the problem. Okay, So I don't want them.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
You're actually not fighting against people, you're fighting against the
odds of getting the number. Yeah, it doesn't matter how
many people are in it, because you see millions of
people in and nobody hits it.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah, I just I don't know. I feel like it's
weird that the UK is allowed to jump in our lottery.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Which one is it?
Speaker 3 (01:01):
I believe it's Powerbule.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
I figure you'd be happy the more money in there. Well,
I get the more money it doesn't want to limit
your odds like how much more money we're talking like
two million, three billion.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Well, the pots will grow faster because there's more people
able to play, right, But it's crazy that we have
regulations that the UK can play, but there's certain states
that can't even play. Like how did we go to
the UK and be like, hey, guys, we got this
thing and we want you guys to be a part
of it.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
This is what makes them want to care about things
happening happening civilly or like, my profice, this is it?
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Like that's one of the things we took to them
on the table, like not, hey, let's lower gas prices together,
you know what I mean, Let's combine together and get
in on the lottery. Would you guys like to join?
Isn't that weird?
Speaker 2 (01:49):
It's different?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
And who said do you like it when it's at
like one point three billion?
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Man?
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Dude?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
That is awesome?
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Okay, So it's going to get there quicker with relatively
the same amount of people, because when it gets to
those billion dollar jackpots, more and more and more and
more people get in. It's gonna get there quicker because
more people are already in at the beginning. It's not
really gonna affect your chance of winning.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Also, I feel like that they're just now in that.
I know this is weird to say, but we have
California win all the time, so I feel like they're
gonna let a couple of UK people win first. So
then it gets the that's what makes me nervous.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
So you're saying it's rigged. So it's so rigged, then
why do you even get in You're saying it's rigged.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I'm not saying it's rigged, but it's just always crazy
how California wins the big pots.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, they probably have more people playing, bigger state, more
people playing. I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Oh I didn't think about the more, more.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Big cities than anywhere else. You know.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
I will say like when Lebanon, Tennessee wins, I feel like.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Oh wow, that's so close to home.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
If Glasgow, Sweden one of Stockholm wins, you're just like,
oh great, I never read a chance like somebody all
the way there wal in Glasgow, Scotland, scott Scotland. Pretty sure, Okay, yeah, yeah,
I've never been there, so I'm not I'm not hating it,
just sound it didn't sound right when I said it.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
And then there was one like in Arkansas recently. I
don't know if you knew this.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
The mayor's brother.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yeah, yeah, the mayor's brother on.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
You know, that's rig That was the big one that
acted like I won. I remember that.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
People believe I move around Christmas time.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Okay, so there's that story. Hey, would you play six ray?
Speaker 6 (03:28):
Yeah, boys, mouil six morning Studio.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
I just wanted to call and let Lunchbox know that
I was randomly at the casino the other day near
my birthday, and we.
Speaker 7 (03:40):
I just put thirty dollars into the machine. Was betting
a dollar fifty if I hit an eleven thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
All right, you guys have a great day. Fight.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Oh that's so awesome. That's the kind of things I
dream about. Come September, are.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
You talking about? Oh, Vegas got number seven? Please?
Speaker 7 (03:59):
My wife is curious about the current topics you guys
have been discussing, because she is a witch herself, and
she's also a nurse, talking about the gratuity or tips
of nursing. Talking about the witch you hired. I think
she would be a lot of help if you guys
were to give her a call and ask some questions.
That's all.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
She's a duel whitch nurse. We've been talking about nurses
and which is we could wrap this up with a
bone one segment. What have you been thinking? Yes, there's
never been a segment for her like that one.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
So does she ever do spells on her patients?
Speaker 1 (04:34):
No? What's your story?
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Positive ones like healing? Okay? So I listened to a
book called Verity not too long ago, and I had
no idea until I saw an article on people that
it's going to be a movie and it's coming out
soon October second with Anne Hathaway Dakota Johnson. I mean
this book is it's a thriller.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Get in the article was talking about how it's got
Stephen King vibes, and I know you're really into Stephen King,
Like I feel like this is a movie you might
even like Bobby. It's a Colleen Hoover book. She's a well.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
I'm not a Stephen King guy. We would because I
think Stephen King guy loves the horror st That's what
Stephen King is known for the kind of guy I
am is did you know Stephen King wrote this and
has nothing to do with what Stephen King guy's actually.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Like like Shawshank Redemption.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah, like The Long Walk, like The Running Man, like
one of my favorite movies ever now with Tom Hitdleston.
What's it called? I should know my favorite movie, Life
of Chuck, Life at Chuck, Chuck. What's crazy about books
and movies now is that it's all on a pad,
so you don't see the freaking head that the cover,
(05:46):
so you forget the name of the book. And with
movies you're just like, uh, flip flip, Okay, I'll do
that one. And then you don't really even because you
didn't drive there, you didn't buy tickets to it, you
didn't call the number and go, okay, let's listen to
see what time Life of Chuck is showing six twenty
eight ninety That.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Crap, yeah, or look in the newspaper. It's a psychological romantic.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Thriller Dinosaurs again or whatever.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
No, y'all made me read that one, whatever that.
Speaker 8 (06:15):
Was.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
It's a very popular book.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Fantasy romance or something.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Humping dragons, I don't know. Also, my Native Americans.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
The name of the book though was Fourth Wing, and
y'all made me read it. It was one of us
we were going to have to anyway. I listened to it,
and so I was just thankingful shout out to the
articles that I've clearly missed about this being a movie.
October second, and then it started popping up more Anne
Hathaway into Coach. And it's so once I read that article,
(06:47):
I guess stuff started popping up in my algorithm and
I saw this guy doing this whole post about how
this is going to be the thriller event of the year,
and it's like for women, this is our Audie Like y'all,
y'all had your own.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Women liked Odyssey? Well, yeah, the Odyssey is literature from
thousands of years ago.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Would you say more men were into Odyssey or it's equal?
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, man, more men, Yeah, just because of how it's presented.
It's it's it's fighting. It's more than it's Trojan Horse. Yeah,
I hear you, but it is. I think when it's
read as a classic, which again I never read it,
I think everyone has to read it. But you have
Matt Damon getting ripped fighting monsters swords. That's for dudes. Yeah,
(07:31):
but my wife really liked it.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
You know what's fun about that is I didn't know
the project til Mary was coming out. As a movie
until I finished the book because I read the book
so late, and then like two weeks later, I saw, Wait,
that's gonna be a movie, and I was so excited
because I act I knew the secret. I knew what happened.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
It's fun.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Yeah, I just had I had no idea because I'm
late to. I think the book came out in like
twenty eighteen, and I didn't listen to it till.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
This year with Project Came Mary. I did book came
out years ago.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Is that the one where Ryan Gosling looked unathletic in
the throw when they.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Promoted he was throwing a hill Mary? And he was like, uh, yeah,
have you seen that movie?
Speaker 3 (08:08):
No, I don't even know what it's about.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Oh you should watch it.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
It's football. Hell, Mary's the best. You'll love it. Dude.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
You don't know what it's about. And we've talked about it.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Eighty times, right, but you don't ever say what it's
about because you don't want.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
To spoil us. We do. We said what it's about.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Oh really, but don't worry about it.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
I literally have no clue what it's about. I just
I just know we've talked about Ryan Gosling throwing a football,
and I didn't know if that was the same movie.
But the more we talk about it, I'm like, I
think that was that. I'm wondering, like, did he look
that like unathletic playing in the movie. But I guess
it's not about football, is it.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
You have to watch just told me, well, she just
killed it.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
So you can't like predict that that man, you can't
predict they're going to make a movie off a book.
So it just happened to be a book that you read,
right for you, guys.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
They were already making the movie when I was reading
the book. I just didn't know that the book was
so popular they were already making a movie, got it.
I didn't jump in because I knew they were making
a movie. I jumped in because the book became so
popular that I read it. But that popularity also created
the demand to make a movie out of it. Like
I read the Forrest Gump Book, and I'm almost positive
(09:14):
that that book was written after the movie was written.
It was as a much much, much longer version. And
the Forrest Gump book was really good. This is Forever
Ago is really good, and there are parts of it
that weren't in the movie. Man, I could be so
wrong about this, but I think they wrote the book
after the movie, which is rare. Let me see, the
original Forrest Gump novel was written by Winston Groom. Okay,
(09:40):
so I was wrong before the movie. Then the book
written in nineteen eighty six. It sold thirty thousand copies.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Yeah, so what you just read it after the movie?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah, but I really I guess I thought that it
was because I knew the script was just found somewhere.
Isn't it the lore of the Forst Gump script that
it was passed over and somebody found like the garbage
or something. What do you see about that? I obviously
he wrote another book that came out in ninety five
that was a follow up book.
Speaker 9 (10:07):
So maybe that's.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Where Nah, I'm sure I'm just wrong about that. But yeah,
the Forcecut book was aly good. He like goes to
space in that crap he does. That's cool. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
I read The Perfect Storm, but that was after the
movie came out or during the movie. And that's the
one about the sword fisherman from Boston.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Is that real?
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
True story.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
I never read them. I never saw a movie. So oh,
it's a good movie.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
You watched the movie and then went to read the book.
I did that too, I know, but you're a reader.
He's not.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
To me.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
It's like it would be difficult to get into it
if he already knowe like as an since he doesn't.
Like I was reading.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
It was like a period in my life where I
was trying to like, oh, I want to be a
reader and do that?
Speaker 8 (10:47):
Know?
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Ude, it was so hard for me to read that book.
But that book was awesome, and so many things that
weren't in the movie were in the book that even
when they talk when like I talk about the movie,
sometimes I'm like, no, there's a part that should have
been in the movie that wasn't just in the book.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
And I love it when people say that it sounds
but you can say that too, just to that movie though.
That's fun to watch that movie. So I can bring
up the.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Book he read Verity, and then we'll go see it together,
and then we can.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
I like chick flicks, like.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
Well, this is a psychological romantic thriller.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
This is not check That sounds like chick flick. If
it says the word romantic in it in any capacity,
we hear chick flick.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
It's guys, Okay, if I use the word erotic, does
that know that.
Speaker 7 (11:32):
Bad?
Speaker 4 (11:32):
It's not that bad.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
I have to watch it on a plane and turn
my screen so the person next to me doesn't see it.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
As someone make a funny reel about how when they're reading.
I think it was Cat Stickler. She did a funny
thing where she's reading a book on a plane and
she's like, when you get to a dirty part and
you start to feel like everyone's watching you read it,
but no one can even see the book, but you
just start making like weird faces.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
She's really funny.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
She's so funny.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
I don't think I ever gave her the credit that
she deserved early on when she was like becoming famous.
I saw one with her the other day where she said,
how you'll let random guys talk about your body and
also your best friend and her friend was playing both
parts and she was like, oh, you look great, and
she's like, it's not you can't really talk about my
body like I owned. And then her best friend's like,
oh you look great, and she was like, yeah, looking
(12:19):
in my eyes these and then she's like showing her.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
She's like, gets here working out. Yeah, like with your
best friend, you're very different.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah. I definitely didn't tell that as good as she
did it. But she's really funny. Okay, lunchbocks.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yeah, there was two dudes at Public's in Florida. One's
thirty five years old, the other one's fifty two. I
guess the fifty two year old is now dating someone
the thirty five year old used to date. He saw
him in the parking lot, so the thirty five year
old went up to his window, started banging on the window,
went back to his truck, got a machete, and the
fifty two year old gets out of his truck, grabs
(12:53):
a hatchet boy, and they go at it in the
parking lot. Hatchet versus machete.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
That's old cool. You know, a little bit of me
relieved that it ain't guns.
Speaker 9 (13:03):
But how crazy if this is like a.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
British crime, This is like a British weapons fight. Yes,
I'm yeah, that's it. That's nuts. But I'm happy it's
not guns because it's always grab your gun from your
glove box or you got one in your belt, So
let's go. Did they get really hurt from this?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
There was some a couple of slices on the finger
in the mid section. Both of them were arrested. But
I mean, you're just going to pick up milk and
eggs and you get to see hat chip versus machete
in the parking lot.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
That's for sure. TikTok. Yeah, yeah, that's you don't jump
in that one to stop. No, no, no, no, yeah,
that's TikTok for sure. They both had a big weapon
on them, a big knife on them, and was in Florida.
You say, yeah, floor maybe for Gate, like probably maybe
Gator the Gator come sure.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, or like Everglades.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
You're like trailblazing you guys. Ever seen Nickel Boys? No, Mike,
did you watch that one?
Speaker 3 (13:56):
I don't think I ever saw it.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
I'll say it for tomorrow. The movie Gate Gator made
me think about it. I watched three movies over the weekend.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Oh yeah, all right, mister cinema.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
It's doing his thing, doing the thing. Hey, but I'll
say again, I'll never be moving, Mike. No, mister cinemon
is having his era right now. Okay, Eddie.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Justice for Mark Zuckerberg. There was some heat thrown his
way because in Alaska there was a boat that was
out in like a sea by Alaska that was like
ran out of gas and needed help.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Did you see this?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
I saw this, And so this boat is calling the
coast guard may day, may day, we're stuck out here.
And they looked at who was the nearest boat next
to him, like next to that could help, and it
was Mark Zuckerbird's three hundred million dollar yacht. So they're like,
three hundred million dollar yacht, come in over, that's what
they call it, Zucky come in over. Nothing, radio silence.
(14:50):
So they had to get another boat to come help.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
A cruise ship turned around the game help question. Wow, wow, exactly, yeah, okay,
so what zucker no answer?
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Was he not on the boat? Was his boat just
out at sea?
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Justice for him? Somebody else is on the boat. Zuckerberg
was not on the boat or his family.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
And they're saying that they didn't get the radio transmitter,
they didn't get anything. There was no call.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
No, there's no still because the heat was towards Zuckerberg.
If somebody's borrowing his boat and they didn't answer, that's
on them, that's not on Mark Zuckerberg.
Speaker 8 (15:18):
No.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
I would just think, what's what's the captain doing? He
didn't get that's who Hey.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
I bet you they heard it and just thought we
then to see you. I don't know that obviously, but
should shouldn't they all be on whatever that frequency is,
or one of your radios beyond whatever that frequency is,
because a cruise ship heard you're telling me that thing.
It's so hard to turn those things around. That cruise
ship turned around. Yes, and they're the ones that helped.
(15:44):
That is wild and that's why she come on our
top shelf country cruise next March.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
We too can save you out at sea.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Who knows.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
But you know what's funny about that is all the
reason the story came out was because people on the
cruise found out. Because after they helped, the captain was like,
don't sorry, guys, Mark Zuckerberg didn't help, but we did.
So that they told everyone on the cruise ship and
what had happened.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
It would be so cool to go and I'm looking
at this boat, the Zuckerberg yacht. I don't even like
the water, but it'd be cool just to go on
one of those and see the scale of it. Yeah,
because getting on a cruise ship, to me mind blown
that it was so large and this isn't that large,
but it's going to be extremely luxury, like such extreme.
(16:26):
And then also like, what can you put on a
boat that's not that big? That's amazing. I mean I
say that not that big. It's huge, but it's not.
It's not a cruise liner. But I mean they have
everything they need and more. Yeah, party barge has what
you need. That's true.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
With a nice slide.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah, you do that one hundred and seven. It's had
one hundred and seven million dollars yacht or three one
hundred and ninety five million dollars listened yacht three hundred
I don't know, maybe.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Three hundred million. This thing looks nice.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
You know. Why would have multiple so that people different
parts of the world.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
Oh, and they just you.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Can't put on a boat trailer. You can't be like
Arkansas Keith to pick up your yacht on a boat
trailer and take it over to the next body of
water in the water area of the water.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
So you can't you can't have a captain drive it
some waters.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
I don't know how hard it would be to connect
because you can. Let's say you wanted to connect Atlantic
and Pacific and you had to go around somewhere in
South America to do that. But you're you're California and
you want to get over to New York.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah, Panama unless you want to go.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
But can it take a p I don't know. I
don't know about all that.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
And you got to worry about pirates, like wherever you go.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
I bet you they're pretty able to fight off pirates.
If you've spent three hundred.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
Million dollars on Oh, they're they're well armed.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
I bet you they have people on boats with rifles.
I would think, really, I would think so, especially if
you're in the waters where that happens.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
But if you're in just normal waters, you probably don't happen.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Right, Not right?
Speaker 3 (17:49):
If we have to.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
H he has three luxury vessels, dang, I would assume,
because they're in different parts of the world, in different
bodies of water. But I don't know that Perez Hilton
is in serious but stable condition. I never watched the video.
I don't plan to watch the video. I've heard about
the video. Did anybody here accidentally watch the video?
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Nope? I mean I just saw him covered in blood
in the video. I was not good. I didn't see
him actually doing anything to himself.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
That's not a little bit of it, but it wasn't
black and white. Was he cutting? Was he just cutting?
What was he doing? I just saw when it like
all the blood was smeared over him, and then I
stopped watching it. I didn't know if he was just
like cutting a knife and dish chest or serious but
stable condition. Will need surgery for the injuries he sustained
when cutting himself during a live stream. I'm surprised at
a I didn't pull that, like it didn't recognize blood
(18:41):
and didn't recognize the cutting. I supposed to be able
to recognize anything and everything, and it didn't. You know
what I was the latest?
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Did you know what I saw?
Speaker 1 (18:50):
And I didn't mean to see it?
Speaker 2 (18:51):
You were talking about it was that influencer that got
shot by the drug cartel. Oh one the motorcycles that
pulled up on him, the.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Girl guy I told you on accident, Right, you don't
even know what's coming, and.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I mean to see it, and it just came up
and they showed all of it.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
Yeah, that can't. I feel like there needs to be
a better way, Like sometimes it'll there'll be a warning
that says graphic and graphic content in five seconds.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Yeah, but it doesn't tell you what it is, so
I'm like, I kind of want to what it is? History,
graphic content coming, it's like a game.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Oh no, no, no, what do you think?
Speaker 1 (19:23):
After him? Well, first I was like, why did I
see that? Why did I see that?
Speaker 5 (19:28):
Oh no?
Speaker 2 (19:29):
And then after a while it's like, you know what,
this guy's definitely I mean, I feel like he's connected.
I didn't think any anything like that was was random.
You know, they don't just kill random people for no reason.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
So so just so there was a reason.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
I'm sure there at all. No, it's not why is no.
I just thought he said, what did you think about it?
And it's just what something that came across my mind afterwards?
Speaker 3 (19:51):
Oh, it's cool.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
He probably I didn't rewatch it or anything. Okay, yeah, okay,
my nose. It's just so bad today. It's I'm sure
she's allergies. Scratch it. Well, it's it can't be scratched.
It's gotta be for me to fully enjoy the fruits
of my rubbing. I'm taking glasses off. Oh man, like
(20:12):
a dog. Oh my god, which is so bad. These
allergies are killing me. There are certain mornings I wake
up and I just I don't want to do this.
But that's not my Testosterone's just allergies.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Why did you throw that out there randomly? Why you
think it's not your testostero.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Because that's what you said. Mine is just my face
and my head, Like from my neck up, my nose
feels like it's gonna explode. My eyes itch, and what
my nose is itching as well? It looks like I'm
always picking my nose. There are two things I hate
when I'm like doing this because my allergy is in
a video. And then also when I redesign the studio,
I gotta get the cameras lower because if I'm reading
(20:55):
something and the videos on me, I hate a clip
of me looking down, you know, anything at the top
of my head or my hat. I hate it so much.
But because our cameras are so high, I gotta do
this in order to see my face, and I gotta
read stuff. These are the little things that annoy the crowd.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
What is there are you? Is that something you're actively
working on or just sort of like one day what
I was just curious, he said, when we I redesigned
the studio, so I didn't know if there.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Was like, well, I already asked for the cameras to
be lowered.
Speaker 10 (21:26):
But there's a whole trust me like pro is right
everything that's yeah, Oh I got a little bit.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
So I'm gonna fill you guys in on something that
happens on Oh two things. One, I'm gonna lead with
this and then you'll understand why I posted a picture
on my Instagram, mister Bobby Bones. I was holding up
my YouTube one hundred thousand subscriber trophy because the page
that I do in the weeds On and sleb on
the Heads hit one hundred thousand subscribers, which is big.
(21:59):
It's not our main page, but it went from like
nineteen thousand, we got it. It's a two hundred maybe
a two hundred thousand. Now by the time before the
trophy got here, we doubled up again. We really are
onto something. On that YouTube page it's Bobby Bonees channel,
but it was the Bobby cast page. And I let's
see if we got two hundred thousand, seven thirty eight
(22:20):
on Bobby Bones's channel, We're almost there. But I posted
my I was like, hey, I got this. This is
so cool because I never got the one for the
Bobby Bone Show when we hit one hundred thousand, and
we have hundreds of thousands of YouTube subscribers on that page.
But I never got it. And I see all these
people with their YouTube trophy. So I posted a picture
of it and in the comments, people are like, hey, finally,
welcome to the club, and I'm like, bro, I've been
(22:40):
in the club.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
This is very different.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
This is for a different channel, Like look at you, you
finally made it with us. I'm like, you didn't even know.
So I got like a little feeling offended, as a
feeling starts slash offended.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
But remember you're not supposed to do I know, but
I got over it.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Yeah, I'm not even angry about it anymore. I was
been angry then. I was just like, you don't think
our bivotional channel has over one hundred thousand followers, but
we I'm super proud of that trophy. And because in
The Weeds that show in the last episode just views.
It's up on our podcast too, but just views as
like sixty thousand views for a YouTube. That's really good.
(23:22):
Hold on, let me look the last in the Weeds
episode and you'll see why I'm saying this has seventy
one thousand views big for a YouTube video for me.
So in that video or maybe the one before that
that I did earlier in the week, I said, you
can say anything on the Internet and people will just
(23:42):
believe you. And I don't want our audience to do that.
I don't want to just believe everything they see on
the internet because it is creating an extremely toxic, divisive
and misinformed public. Said you can write anything and people
just go, yep, well it's graphics. So I believe it.
And I said, I don't know where we are. We've
(24:02):
we've been doing podcasts since twenty two thousand and four.
I said, for twenty years, you need to average about
fifty million. The early year is probably not a year.
I said, but screw it. I'm just gonna write one
billion download Club and watch everybody just believe it. You know,
no one's even gonna verify it. They're just gonna be
like congratulations. And I felt like that wasn't hurting anybody,
(24:24):
and so I said, everybody that sees this just right
on there and knew you could do it that way.
I know you run on the joke, but just see
everybody believes everything. It doesn't matter good or bad. Don't.
So it was just a little test, like I post it.
Oh my god. First you'll see everybody going I knew
you could do it. I knew you could do it.
There are so many of those. And so the company
(24:45):
hits me up where she it's information, and I'm like, okay,
So I just sent a clip of me saying, okay,
this is up like a lesson to our audience. Don't
believe everything just because it's set on the internet. Here's
an example. And so that was it. That's what I
was doing this weekend. So yeah, real, No, I have
(25:06):
no idea. I have no way to track that.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Now. I need to be like, I knew you could
do it.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Well No, my wife also came. She goes, hey, you
guys relationship, you had a billion downloads. I said, I
have no idea how many downloads or streams we've done,
because from before two thousand and twelve or thirteen, that
was a whole different feed I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
But also you have someone like Jefferson Fisher going incredible congratulating.
Speaker 11 (25:27):
I know what.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
I kind of felt bad because ad friends text me
too and go hey, Bill. If I were to guess
and I was doing the math between Bobby Ball show
streams streams for my shows, I would think we're about
eight hundred million or so. Like I was really doing
the math and then thinking about three or four years
we'd hit the billion club. Although I can't prove we don't,
but we don't. I don't have the ability to look.
But yeah, they were very happy about me doing that.
But you're right, no one's going to question that. No
(25:49):
one questions anything. And that was my whole point, Like
we have to question things. If it affects you in
any way, don't believe it. If it's just up there
and it does not bother you in any way. What's
when you just scroll past it? Who cares? But there
are people that are writing stuff all the time that
we don't. You don't know if it's true or not,
and then you get angry about it, you get sad
about it. That was it. That was that experiment.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
I thought that was a graphic you got from the company.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
No, I made it, and then I did another one
in AI right next to it, just to prove how
easy it was with your height. Yeah, and then I
wrote the same graphic that was big news. Congratulations, I'll
be in recognized as six foot one at the doctor.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yeah, I felt stupid after I commented, and I looked
down and like, wait, then minute, everyone's commenting the same thing.
There's sub joke here.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
It was very much and not even just a joke,
hopefully a bit of a lesson for all of us.
Just because it's on the internet does not mean it's true.
Don't let people divide you with things they're writing and saying,
or stats that they are just saying, research says or
a graphic that says this, This is what it means
to be a parent. You have to have people are
(27:02):
just writing craft. Don't believe anybody. Don't believe me. Verify
everything I say because I want to be trusted. But
you can verify everything that I say, and if it's
not true, you should say, oh, I don't believe that's
true because I have found that this is not accurate.
But that's all that was. But then I got hit up,
like I need to we need to see your data,
and yeah is that? And I said, okay, here's the data.
(27:27):
This was me working with our listeners to prove a
point and to hopefully all of us can learn not
to trust what we see on the internet and this
is an example, So that was it. Ray was funny, though,
Ray goes, no, maybe Eddie did. Who said the club?
You opening the club? I thought you were announcing you're
a billionaire. Oh that's what yours was. I was like, dang, dude,
you did it. Finally, Okay, thank you all, let's take
(27:54):
a break. They are recalling salsa and guacamalle over salmonella.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Now, wow, not good for Eddie.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
I saw this and I freaked out.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Taylor Farms is recalling more than a dozen prepared foods
with sausa guacamole product containing jalapenos. So, yeah, guess what
I had to do? What I pivoted?
Speaker 2 (28:17):
I had to buy Serrano peppers this week.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
Is this the same company with the lettuce? Yes, Taylor Farms.
But I thought they came out and said, oh, it's
an accident.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Well, the FDA said they gave them a false positive.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
But now they're pulling other things.
Speaker 4 (28:29):
Listen, I don't know so.
Speaker 6 (28:33):
Too.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Am I ever going to walk to him again?
Speaker 1 (28:36):
We can't eat anything. We can only eat candy. Yes,
we can only eat candy, only super processed foods and candy.
You know, Oh my goodness, what has happened.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Look at Eddie Pivoting making it work.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Serrano peppers, they're hotter than usual.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
But now until we got to go back. I was
scrolling through the Bobby Bone Show TikTok, and I see
Raymundo doing a voiceover for Ella Ella Langley like a cartoon.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
Okay, So I figured you wrote that.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
No, I didn't even know what it was. I'm flipping
through and Ray's like Ell Langley grew up in a
small town in Alabama. Ray, would you play some of that?
This is him just it's just dry, I think, or
maybe over some music.
Speaker 12 (29:19):
She sang to two hundred cows before she ever sang
to a sold out crowd. Ella Langley grew up on
a farm in Hopehole, Alabama. When her grandfather passed, her
dad restrung his old guitar, and at fourteen, she taught
herself to play. That same night, she looked up the
chords to Three Little Birds by Bob Marley, teaching herself
to play the song and giving her her first performance
(29:41):
in front of cows. At twenty, she dropped out of
college and moved to Nashville with nothing but songs. For years,
she played cover gigs nobody was watching messaging bars. Just
a book a night seven, okay, RAYMONDA what is that
right do? They asked me if I would read for Ella.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I don't.
Speaker 12 (29:59):
They just wanted to voice behind who's they and but
it was on our account. Yeah, they're trying new stuff
on social media. Wanted me to be a narrator.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
And it's also weird when someone goes someone moved it
down with the only songs. No, you had a lot
of money, you had a car, suitcases. Yeah, you probably
had a couple of months rent.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
Yeah, it was just a little dramatic. It helps the story.
The cows first performance was to cows.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
The more famous people get, like, the harder their story gets.
But yeah, I thought you did a good job. I
just thought it was really bizarre.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
I thought it was fine.
Speaker 12 (30:29):
But yes, it was interesting because I didn't know if
it was real when it was said she was singing
to cows, like that's really how she started?
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Or is this a joke? Is this something we're doing
for apul fools or what is happening? Yeah, it's not
our Bobby bonchow TikTok. And then I looked down to
see if it was an ad of some sort it
was it wasn't no no, yeah, so I no, I
didn't write that, okay.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
I I just assumed it was something you were trying out,
and you wrote the script and sent it to Ray.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
Okay, so you go.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
To our TikTok that's not an ad. It just felt
a little like hyperbolic when it was read.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Yeah, but that's Ray.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
No, he read what he what he was saying.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
I know he can be that way also, But.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
The words in it he didn't change. It was written.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I have a question, what is hyperb you mean, why why.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
Don't you look at google it? Google it and then
you can share with everyone?
Speaker 4 (31:23):
Or hyperbole?
Speaker 1 (31:24):
But that's hyperbolic, that's I know.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
He probably knows what hyperbole is, though.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Why not.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Hyperbolic?
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Go ahead, hyperbolic.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
It's the word.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
It's an adjective that primarily means using or relating to hyperbole.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
Am I would like to Amy, I'd like to take
a step back, and I apologize for thinking more of
what he would know.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
Let me tell you what hyperbole is, okay, obvious intentional
exaggeration used for emphasises.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
Okay, which I get it. Ray didn't write that script,
but Ray speaks in a lot of hyperbole day to day,
so to me, it does exaggerate everything.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Yeah, OK, everybody feel good about there?
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Yeah, Lunchbox, does that help you?
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Tamy, I'm sorry I should have thought he I thought
he would have known that. Ray play me a voicemail please.
Speaker 11 (32:18):
Hey guys, it's Mackenzie from Texas. I was just calling
in to say thank you to Lunchbox because after five
years of avoiding the dentist, after hearing all the drama,
I have decided to book an appointment and now I
will see if I have the same disease as LB.
Pray for me on August twenty six at eight am.
(32:39):
I'll let you know you got it.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Thanks Mackenzie. Yeah, Lunchbox has some weird mouth disease that
he had to go on over two days.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
Yeah, periodental disease or something.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
And his face was completely swallow. He's like, no, I
just got a cleaning, so we had to reach out
to our own dentist to go, Nah, that ain't what
that is. But yeah, appreciate. Hey, Ray, have them write
one about me and be so drama at about it
and I'm reading it and then read it and do
the same I'm talking about Uh, I was born out
out of nothing. There was no vagina. He was just
(33:10):
by himself.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
What that's just got weird?
Speaker 2 (33:14):
That's you think the cow.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
She came to town with nothing but songs.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
Well, you're saying she didn't have a lot.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
I agree, and neither did I. And I was born,
and I was born, and I didn't have much parenting.
But you came out of and she came to town
with more than nothing in her pockets. I wanted to
be so Eddie Westward hyperbole. No, the hyperbolic. Yeah, I
wanted to be so hyperbolic, but still have inches of
truth in it, all right, ready to read? His head
(33:44):
was so large as a child. I liked it though
it was good. I watched half of it.
Speaker 4 (33:52):
Thank you half made Wow, I didn't I got through
the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
Oh I didn't. I made it through ten seconds. I
feel you play number three please.
Speaker 8 (34:04):
David and Birmingham just now casing up on the podcast
on Thursday where Lunchbox called about Eddie's salsa business. Eddie,
you should be a good friend to Lunchbox. You don't
want him to get in trouble. You should call the
irs about all his deductions and let's see how that
plays out.
Speaker 5 (34:20):
Dang.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Okay, yeah, I mean now, I'm not doing that. I'm
not doing tip for tat Like he knows what he
did was wrong. I'm not going to do that.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Yeah, helping you out, now, I'll go to jail.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
You weren't helping me out. Okay, you're trying to shut
me down before I can even start.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
Why would I do that.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
It's like when he calls crime stoppers on certain members
of the show as well, right right, He's not doing
it to help them out. Okay, everybody call us if
you want. Eight seven, seven seventy seven.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Bobby.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
See, you have some family that were in town staying
at a hotel in that town.
Speaker 4 (34:50):
M hm yeah. And I stopped by the hotel just
to see them walk around see some things. And I
went into the hotel with my cousin to look at something.
Her husband was outside, and a guy pulled up, handed
him his keys and five bucks and said thanks for
parking my car man, and then just took off into
the hotel where my cousin's husband was Like, what I mean,
(35:13):
what was he.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Wearing a black polo button up?
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (35:18):
No, like golf shirt okay, it tucked in.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
Yes, at once we assessed it weird. It still was
still totally weird because I thought, how that person must
have been in such a hurry, or just how trusting
are you to just toss your keys to a guy
that might be valet because he looks like he's running
around parking cars. I don't know. It was really interesting.
(35:43):
So then my cousin's husband, obviously he didn't take the car.
He went and found the valet and said here's this
and gave them the five bucks too. I was like,
I could have got that.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
I'm shocked he did all that. Like I would have
left the keys right there. I think it would have
mattered how jerk the guy was and they rode.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
A nice hotel, they're not gonna.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Be but to throw your keys at someone that did
he throw or did he just no?
Speaker 4 (36:07):
He handed it and then walked off.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Still jerky, still slightly jerky.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
There is something a little arrogant about it, of like, oh,
here's my stuff, park my car, thanks? Or was he
in a huge hurry and he's like, oh things, get
my car? I don't know, because I wasn't there to
see the guy's face or interaction. We just walked out
and he's like, this guy's car keys in five bucks.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
I would have probably done a TikTok video while driving
the car around going This guy just gave me his
cues I'm not a valet and then taking it.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Yeah, if we were shady, we could have totally taken
it for a ride.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
Was your cousin offended it all?
Speaker 4 (36:49):
No? No, he was sort of like, I mean, guys,
look at my polo.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
Was the car really nice like someone who maybe had
a sense ofment titlement?
Speaker 4 (36:56):
Nice car but not like crazy but still nice. Yeah,
it's nice. It's nice, but it was.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Not like.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
Ferrari, like a Mercedes SUV. So that is nice, but
it's not like Lambeau.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
Raymundo wants to set you up with someone. Has he
told you this? Would you ever accept a set up
from someone like Raymundo?
Speaker 8 (37:17):
Well?
Speaker 4 (37:18):
I like Ray and his wife, So I.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
Didn't say, because this is not Bay coming in going,
because that's different. If bea Goo's I met somebody, I
think that you. I think you listen to that because
they Bey's great and we like her and she's smart
and she has a good head on her shoulders and
we like Ray, but sometimes a little unconventional and how
he thinks. Would you agree with that?
Speaker 4 (37:37):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (37:37):
So this is not Bay, this is only Ray. Okay,
would you let Ray set you up if you need
to hear more? Okay, Raymondo.
Speaker 12 (37:43):
So it's a country artist that's definitely single.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Okay, you don't know them, well, we all know them.
Speaker 12 (37:50):
They've been on the show definitely a handful of times.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
And Bones is friends with this person. I know who
it is?
Speaker 4 (37:57):
What?
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (38:00):
Not?
Speaker 4 (38:00):
That's not that's not Ray setting me up with one
of his friends.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
I don't know it was going to be all this
having an idea he wanted to set you up with somebody,
but now it's.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
Awkward, and no, I don't want to know who it is.
I have no idea. No it is not. No, he's
just absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
I don't know who it is Ray. Is it John Party?
Speaker 3 (38:23):
No?
Speaker 6 (38:24):
What Eddie?
Speaker 4 (38:26):
The divorce isn't even final? And also if it were,
absolutely not because I know Summer No.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Okay, but it's not Okay, it's not John Party, So
there's no reason there, Okay, Ray, Okay, who else do
you think it'll be? I? Who else is freshly single?
Speaker 4 (38:43):
Do they have to be fresh or they could have
always been.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Can I rule somebody out? It's not jelly roll?
Speaker 4 (38:53):
Okay, I don't even think he is. Divorce is final?
Is it? Listen?
Speaker 7 (38:57):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (38:58):
Keith?
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Is it? Keith Urban? Okay, Amy, give it a shot.
Speaker 4 (39:06):
You guys. First of all, let's say the obvious. His
ex wife is Nicole Kidman.
Speaker 13 (39:13):
So that is the caliber of people he is used
to dating.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
Second, she puts her pants on one leg.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
At second, I'm not that's no, I'm not going. I don't.
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
No use a sentence.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
No. No is a complete No is a complete sentence.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
Wow, Ray, do you think that they would be great together?
Speaker 12 (39:35):
Yeah? Can you not look at them and say, man,
they would be a good looking couple together. I get
he's a little bit older than Amy, but she's proved
does she does date a little bit older?
Speaker 1 (39:48):
I have proved to Amy had her opportunities.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
I don't see age.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
Everybody has a just kidding, I do see it. So
he'd okay, you don't know the person in Ray. I
thought maybe he had an idea of who.
Speaker 4 (40:07):
Yes, I thought this was like, oh my boy, Billy
from South Beach.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
Would you go to Southeach? Is what you're saying is
south Beach married Ray.
Speaker 12 (40:19):
South Beach is dating a very nice lady from Mexico.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
What Okay, South Beach is what Yeah, and she's she's.
Speaker 12 (40:27):
Not allowed to come to America, so when he visits her,
he literally has to go into Mexico.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
Yeah, they go to Cabo, They've been to King Koon,
that's what. Yeah, it's always something weird, something you don't
want to ask more questions about, but you're dying to. Okay,
South Beach is still in the hotel business.
Speaker 12 (40:48):
Yeah, I believe he's definitely maybe Jacksonville area or Tampa.
But he was in Cincinnati and he would kind of
swing by, we'd play golf. But then now he's in
the Florida market. Even how he says that feels weird,
a little shy.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
Yeah, like that's not there. Uh okay, So no, no,
Keith urban right, and Ray doesn't actually have somebody he knows,
although John interesting but no. But no, But I agree
because you know, because you know, some are and lots
of reasons.
Speaker 4 (41:16):
And I think I know Summer, I know the news.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
I was just going to say, I think, Sehn, it
goes a little too hard for you.
Speaker 4 (41:25):
But that is what I'm talking about in the news.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
And no jelly roll.
Speaker 4 (41:33):
No, And this is nothing against any of these artists.
I also don't know that the industry is that life
is for me?
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Would that I heard that?
Speaker 4 (41:41):
They? I mean I just see them being with like
these you know, bomb to bombshell, Yeah, bombshell like powerhouse
like you're that?
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Yeah, what are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (41:55):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (41:56):
Ray? Would you play voicemail number three? Please? This is
somebody calling uh. I think maybe a dentist for lunchbox
fed ah.
Speaker 6 (42:03):
Yes, this message is from Francisco from Nashvielle Indistry calling
for Daniel. I just want to let you know that
we will not be able to see you any longer
in your office because of your mouth being so small.
You are just going to have to see a pediatric
nist from now on. We love help and service your
pretty little mouth and have a good day. Bye.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
Thing. Is that real? You got a baby mouth?
Speaker 3 (42:31):
Dude, I don't have a baby mouth.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
You got to go to a kid's dnnis then you
got a toddler hole. That's crazy, man.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
Le's a dumb call.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
That was a pretty funny one. Shout out to that
person that's a good bit Francisco Dentistry. We got a
good lab there. Here's another lunchbox. When right hit six,
please Lunchbox.
Speaker 5 (42:51):
Finding out that he did not get invited to the
iHeartRadio Fest in Vegas, I have tears rolling down my face.
That was the most awkward thing I've ever heard. And
I watched reality TV that was by far the most
awkward thing.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
I'm glad you enjoyed that, because no one else did,
at least on my end.
Speaker 4 (43:11):
I didn't particularly.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
I thought it was interesting as content.
Speaker 2 (43:15):
I felt bad.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
My favorite way.
Speaker 1 (43:16):
I thought he knew. I thought he knew because Scoobat
talked to Eddie.
Speaker 4 (43:22):
Well, Lunchbox wasn't here, and then it just was awkward.
It's yeah, that's my least favorite when people get blows
to the ego live.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
Yeah, it's sort of like when you stole my appearance
live and you told me live that was awkward.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
That wasn't live. I wasn't trying to bring that up.
I really wasn't trying to bring that up.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
So I think I did, and I also did not
know about it. Actually, Amy, I think Amy.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
Brought it up. She was like brings wrangler thing I
stole from lunchbox.
Speaker 4 (43:49):
I didn't say it that way though, and I didn't
know you didn't know. So, yes, that was awkward too,
you're my point. I hated it.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
It was kind of worse because it was to tell
me something good for you.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
You're like, my good is.
Speaker 3 (44:06):
That same segment? She was like, No, I didn't say
anything in the lunchbox. I was hoping you'd never find.
Speaker 4 (44:10):
Out what I said that.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
It all unfolded extremely organically. It wasn't on purpose. I
didn't know about it. I thought I brought it up. Honestly,
I'm glad I didn't. But I don't do that stuff
on purpose. There's a lot that doesn't get discussed. I
see a theme here, man, what do you think the
(44:34):
theme is?
Speaker 3 (44:36):
Crap on me? Like, like make it awkward? Yeah? Red card?
I mean card on the ship.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
Oh oh, the drink.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
Card didn't have the Yeah yeah yeah. Do you think
I'm just asking a question man, that you bring any
of this on yourself?
Speaker 3 (44:57):
No?
Speaker 1 (44:57):
Okay, And that's the answer that I will.
Speaker 3 (44:59):
Hear because I I had lined up my gig and no,
just generally.
Speaker 4 (45:04):
Speaking, I didn't take the gig from you. I didn't.
I didn't. I am just gonna say that you didn't
pursue it. Last time. I didn't pursue it. There was
a change in preference from the client. I had nothing to.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Do with that. I had nothing to do with this
getting a ready card on the boat. Nothing. I didn't
even know about it. Now did I laugh? Absolutely? Not
because he was without but because it just if it
happened to Eddie, I would have laughed that any of
you guys were given some limited access card. When I'm
(45:38):
gonna be completely honest about the whole cruise thing. They
wanted to name that cruise after me. I didn't want
to name the cruise after me because I was nervous
and I have said this for years that listeners wouldn't come.
So I go, I don't want to name the cruise
after me, because if people don't want to come hang
out with us on a boat, and you still have
some generic name you can call the cruise, you can
market it elsewhere and get other people to come. So
(46:02):
that's why it's called the top shelf Country Cruise. I
am insecure, and I felt like we couldn't move enough
tickets or what would you call that? So it is
Cabins reservations that I didn't want to name it the
Bobby Bones Cruise, so we name it Top Shelf Country Cruise,
and we get some martists to come on and it
(46:24):
goes awesome. I didn't even get sick. If it's just
something else I was worried about. It goes so good.
Now was my wife also pregnant. I didn't stay the
whole time all that happened, but it went awesome, and
we're looking forward to next year. And by the way,
you can still come Topsholf Country Cruise dot com. I'm
almost positive that's the web address, and it's leaving in March.
(46:44):
And had we gone on the on the Bibybones creuse
the Top Shlf Cruise and Eddie been given a red
card and we come back, I would have laughed as well.
But a lot of stuff happens to Lunchbox because I think,
as the new radicals would say, you get what you give.
Speaker 4 (46:57):
Mm it's the energy, and I.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Think that happens a lot, and so I think you
get what you give. And a lot of times he
doesn't put out I'm here to help and be a
part of things, and I have a positive attitude, so
at times he's met with that back, but the cruise
thing totally freak, had no idea, would not actually wouldn't
have let it happen. Bit aside, had I known that,
(47:23):
I would not have let it happen, because that to
me as funny as it was knowing about it, because
it's so funny. They wouldn't even let him in a raging
idiot show like they wouldn't. That's awkward. Uh huh, it's
hilarious and awkward. I would have never let that happen
because he's out there on the cruise the whole time,
busting his hump, making sure that listeners are spending time
(47:47):
and feeling welcomed. And I would not have let that happen. Now,
after the fact, I laughed about that at home alone
because it happened to him. That's so funny. But if
it happened, I know he can even eat with it. Yeah,
if it happened to Eddie, it would have been funny too,
but not as funny.
Speaker 2 (48:07):
Yeah, I mean lunchbox kind of just like you said,
this is kind of his energy and it just remember
when Morgan's crap was all breaking and he thought his
highlight of his whole cruise was Morgan left her computer
on the boat and she had to run back.
Speaker 1 (48:19):
Yeah, and he just thought that was so funny. I'm
gonna kind of say that because he thought that was funny.
You know what, A little bit funny too. We laughed.
But you leave your computer on the boat and now
you got to go back. That's funny. It's unfortunate, but
you got your computer back. That's kind of how I
feel about this. But that's how he really loved that.
He thought Morgan leaving that computer on the boat. I
think it was the number one highlight of his trip.
(48:39):
I think it was when we did a highlights. I
think it was when Morgan left her computer on the
cruise ship.
Speaker 4 (48:44):
That's a good point, just from my perspective on how
it is with Lunchbox at times, if he had ended
up getting an event that I was supposed to have
and he got it, he would be like in my
face about it, like, oh, well, you just suck and
I'm also you know, and whereas I'm like, oh, shoot,
this is awkward. Or if I were to get uninvited
(49:05):
from Vegas and he was still going, he would probably
be a little more loud about it, whereas I feel very,
very awkward, and I felt for him, like it's just different.
Do you see that energy Lunchbox at all?
Speaker 3 (49:17):
No, I don't see that energy at all. I saw
a lot of laughing and no, no, no.
Speaker 4 (49:21):
Do you see the energy with yourself? Like you would
be laughing and snickering right.
Speaker 3 (49:26):
Oh, man, I would.
Speaker 1 (49:27):
I don't know what I'd be doing you hug Amy
off to the side and say I'm really sorry that
happened to you.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
I would probably be in Vegas just celebrate. And man,
what do you mean thinking about you guys?
Speaker 4 (49:36):
Yeah, which I did say something to lunchbox off on
the side.
Speaker 1 (49:39):
You do, because you that's the kind of person you
want like about Vegas.
Speaker 4 (49:42):
Yeah, we had to go sit in Bobby's office together
and I was like, well, I guess Snells.
Speaker 1 (49:48):
In lunchbox day. Yeah, why are you guys going to
my office?
Speaker 4 (49:51):
Is that you sent us there?
Speaker 1 (49:53):
I wasn't there.
Speaker 3 (49:54):
No, we had meetings.
Speaker 4 (49:55):
We had a meeting thing and you were like, y'all
just go wait in my office or you said just
go wait by yourself. So we just went and I didn't. Okay,
we had we couldn't hear we had to we didn't
touch anything or do anything. But okay, fine, lunchbox and
I were alone in a room.
Speaker 1 (50:10):
Hey Scuba Steve, huh, yeah, what's up? Generally going forward,
the only person that has other than me, they can
go in my office. It's either you and Amy, and
that's it. Make sure nobody else just uses it as
a general meeting room.
Speaker 4 (50:27):
We weren't meeting.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Well then Amy's good, No, she's good. I didn't know
called the.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
Meeting with lunch one the media.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
Can you just make sure because when this is said now,
people are going to think they can just hop in there.
I got a bunch of stuff in there. I don't
people all of them and stuff? Can you like a
joghand I do not want it to be that.
Speaker 9 (50:44):
Okay, So we.
Speaker 4 (50:45):
Were stuck in there for two minutes and I thought, well,
now's now's the time I got to say it. I
got to address the elephant in the room. And I
gotta say, hey.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
You know and you what did you say?
Speaker 4 (50:57):
I don't remember exactly, but I had. I was like, hey,
I hate it, I'm sorry that that happened. Like I
think I even maybe encourage him, like you could still go,
but he's like, nah, I'm not going to go because
I didn't know if the whole now was him being
tough on air, like no, I'm gonna show them, and
then maybe he'll still end up going. But I don't
think he's gonna end up going.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
Yeah, because he's wanted maybe not have to pay the.
Speaker 4 (51:17):
I understand that hotel and the hotel, that's.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
True, staying with it. Edie's not going either. I'm not going.
Speaker 4 (51:22):
Oh they can see with you.
Speaker 1 (51:24):
No they can't. Yeah, okay, I'll probably hang out in
his office while he's going. You're not allowed, dude, you heard? Yeah, Well,
well crap, and I won't be here.
Speaker 9 (51:35):
To catch him.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
We'll lock it because you're going to Vegas.
Speaker 3 (51:41):
Nice.
Speaker 9 (51:41):
I'll be in a hotel room working all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 1 (51:44):
How do you feel about Scuba going to Vegas? Lunchblock?
That shouldn't bother you.
Speaker 9 (51:47):
I've been going before I even know he existed on
planet Earth.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
I know, but I'm asking him.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
Oh no, no he does. I mean he's working whatever.
Speaker 1 (51:54):
It's fine, Well, everybody's working whatever.
Speaker 4 (51:56):
But what's a different if Lunchbox was doing that type
of work.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
Yeah, Scuba is not doing the kind of work that
we would all.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
Do right on CA?
Speaker 4 (52:05):
What do you call that? Are you like part of
the production teams?
Speaker 14 (52:07):
About the production team with the national broadcast?
Speaker 1 (52:11):
Anything else you'd like to say about that Lunchbox?
Speaker 3 (52:13):
No, I'm just glad we could make that girl cry man.
I'm glad she enjoyed the segment. Wasn't that fun? Still
wasn't fun when I had to go home to my
wife and look her in the eyes and say, your
boy got fired from Vegas. You still haven't told the
neighbors though, Still haven't told you?
Speaker 1 (52:28):
You had to tell them.
Speaker 4 (52:28):
You have to, because didn't they book flights and hotel. Well,
they could still go if they were already planning on
paying for their own hotel and flights, like Lunchbox could
get on tickets.
Speaker 3 (52:40):
I don't know if I can.
Speaker 1 (52:42):
I can Amy, Amy's got the connection.
Speaker 4 (52:46):
I'll try. I feel like your neighbors maybe should still
get to go.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
I had to tell my cousin, Leroy, you're not coming.
Speaker 8 (52:52):
I was.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Leroy say, well, so I guess BTS is playing? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (52:57):
Okay they are, yeah on Friday night.
Speaker 1 (52:59):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (53:00):
So he said the reason he was going is because
his daughter loves BTS and he was gonna take his daughter.
And I said, dude, you can still go if you want.
I can try to get your tickets, and he's just like,
you know, Amy. So it was rough, but he's like,
you know what, man, it's okay. We'll just cancel the
hotel and I'll use the point somewhere else.
Speaker 1 (53:18):
It was. It was a hard conversation.
Speaker 3 (53:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:21):
See, he's got to have it, lunchbox. Just tell the neighbors,
rip off the band aid.
Speaker 3 (53:25):
I'm avoiding at all costs.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
Why are you embarrassed?
Speaker 3 (53:28):
Oh yeah, that's a that's a tough pill to swallow.
Speaker 1 (53:32):
What about it is embarrassing to you?
Speaker 3 (53:34):
Oh? That got fired from it? Like it's.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
You get fired. It was it was obviously for budgetary reasons.
Speaker 3 (53:42):
No, I get it. Yeah, And I mean the neighbors.
And then Jenny and Andy. I haven't told them either.
Speaker 1 (53:48):
Oh no, they're always there every year.
Speaker 3 (53:50):
Every year. We got a verbal contract.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
And Jenny Andy are there every year. I don't know them,
but i'd let them everybody know immediately. Unless you can
just set yours up with Jenny Andy and they could
go have fun together.
Speaker 4 (54:03):
Yeah, that's yeah, what I'm just gonna stop. He's he's
gonna do what he's gonna do. He doesn't. No, I
don't think that you want our advice.
Speaker 3 (54:13):
I'd like to hear what you're gonna say. You always
have good stage advice.
Speaker 4 (54:18):
What is this sarcasm?
Speaker 3 (54:21):
I think you're gonna say, call up Chase. He'll get
you in.
Speaker 1 (54:26):
Chase. Chase doing that to cha?
Speaker 13 (54:30):
Chase catches straight like he did nothing wrong on him.
He's like like no, And he's from Kansas, and there's
a lot of listeners in Kansas, like the people, and
he'll hear things back where he'll be like.
Speaker 4 (54:46):
Like people were like, what did you do it a lunchbox?
Because he and he's having to like like what this
has nothing to do with lunchbox? It's just business. And
he's like and I just happen to be involved because
it Chase Rice like it has nothing to do with
the show or or anything, and like, anyway.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
Okay, so can Chase help with lunchwoks one in Vegas?
Speaker 3 (55:06):
All right?
Speaker 1 (55:06):
I want to move on. If you get an unexpected
entire day off work, who would you want to spend
it with? So I'll tell you what Americans just generally
said in this survey. But let's say it's about to
go in. Hey, you got the day off and you
can just hang out. You have to know the person.
It can't be Michael Jordan.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
Okay, guys, like a question of like, oh myself.
Speaker 1 (55:29):
Because that can be because you actually can do that.
It's a good one.
Speaker 4 (55:32):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (55:32):
But you understand what I'm saying. Yes, yeah right? Uh so, Amy,
who would you spend it with myself alone?
Speaker 4 (55:40):
Yeah, i'd read, I'd walk.
Speaker 1 (55:44):
But don't you get to do that like every other week?
Speaker 4 (55:47):
It's not always a whole day off from work though. No,
I don't have a no, okay, and it's not like
I'm not involved with my kids too. But you're talking
a whole day off from work. I assume that means
my work job here the podcast Mothering, no work. I
would oh yeah, I'd probably book some appointments.
Speaker 2 (56:08):
So you just do some new stuff, yes, Eddie, so
I can have this album like just me and this
person by ourselves, right, I'm off from work, kids are
in school.
Speaker 4 (56:19):
Just you and Bobby my wife, but the kids. I
thought you're gonna pick Bobby.
Speaker 1 (56:27):
Cause you guys gonna make fun out. Yeah I'm not
picking Bobby. I mean, yeah, yeah, I probably would be
a concert. We can't do Fantasyland, Yeah, because you and
your wife probably don't. I'm with four kids, especially four
boys in the ages they are with how present I
imagine you guys almost never get time together.
Speaker 2 (56:47):
And she works so we never see each other, and
then nighttime comes around and we're both exhausted.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
Good night. Do you have to pay a sitter extra?
Like extra extra? Since it's four and since I guess
it's three.
Speaker 2 (56:58):
We used to, but I mean we're not face sitter now.
My oldest son watches the boys now do they listen
to him?
Speaker 1 (57:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (57:04):
For about we have about a two hour window and
then the call start coming in. When are you coming back?
That's that's nice. Huh, it's great. Yes, But I mean
he's eighteen. He's gonna be going off to college pretty soon.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
Or do you give him money? No, it's just part
of his thing.
Speaker 4 (57:21):
Well, yeah, here and we feed you, right.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
I use that one a lot, room and board.
Speaker 3 (57:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
The problem with that is, and it's true, and good
for him for allowing that, is he goes. I get
that anyway.
Speaker 4 (57:32):
Yeah, now you're of age where you get to start
working for it a little bit.
Speaker 3 (57:36):
Yeah, lunchbox you I'd be Garrett, Greg and Jacob. We'd
probably hit the golf course together and just hang out.
I have a couple of drinks and I enjoy some nice,
peaceful day at the golf course.
Speaker 1 (57:48):
I think my answer would have been different six months ago.
But it's now going to be my wife, because it's
so every second is us me working, or it's baby.
It's it's that six months ago, I would spend a
lot of time with her. We'd spend every evening together,
four or five hours at a time, but because we
don't really get to do that now, it would be
her now. It's just no one told me the babies
(58:14):
were you just it's all. It's always no one told you.
They take all the attention and they they give me.
They didn't give me a pamphlet when I was in
Like all of your attention and energy, physical, emotional. As
soon as you're all work has to be on. There's nothing.
And then even like when the baby goes asleep, I'm
watching it on a monitor and so I'm eighty percent.
(58:35):
Now I'm eighty percent out because I'm able to like
eat dinner and we'll watch it, but we're still making sure.
And now she's flipping over in the crib and it's
just no one told me. Yeah, so yeah, it'd be
right now, it'd be my wife. Okay, here's what people say.
According to a poll, sixty percent say they'd spend the
extra day with their kids. Oh wow, I spend every
(58:57):
day with them. Twenty percent said they'd spend their time
with their significant other, and another twenty set alone. Oh okay,
I didn't think that was that crazy of you. I
don't think that's like a selfish thing at all. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (59:07):
Well, nobody else chose it, so it was feeling a
little weird. And if I had a partner, I probably
would have chose them.
Speaker 2 (59:12):
No one said Greg Garrett and Jacob.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
They did not make the list. I don't even know
who they are. Oh his Austin buddies. Oh he go
back home and hang out with them.
Speaker 4 (59:24):
What about Forrest?
Speaker 1 (59:25):
Yeah, what happened to Forrest?
Speaker 3 (59:26):
Well, Forrest doesn't play golf, so he didn't. He's not
much of an outdoors person.
Speaker 1 (59:32):
Like he likes the AC got it, so that's the
A and Wi Fi, but also like golf. Yeah it's
a tough one. So do you wish that work had
the ability to like pro sports teams and trade, trade players,
trade people.
Speaker 4 (59:49):
I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.
Speaker 1 (59:50):
Let's say you play for the Cubs the Boston any
time can go Okay, I'm going to trade Ian Happ
for two prospects and some money. Okay, what if our
jobs did that?
Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
That would be interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
Any day you got the call that you've been traded
to Apple. Oh just like that.
Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
Not even an internal like breakfast club.
Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
Oh, it could be anything. It could be inside the company,
but it could be Apple. It could be oh, you're
going to Tube. Wow to be and so now you
got to pack your crap up and go to Tube.
Would you like that dynamic?
Speaker 4 (01:00:24):
I mean thinking about it kind of keep you on
your toes.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
But the moving, like, see these ballplayers, what do they
do? Do they get an apartment because they have to go immediately, right, Yeah,
they do just grab a condo.
Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
And there's not from my friends that have had to
go and play on a different team in mid season,
there's not like the team owns a bunch of condos
that you can stay in. But there's generally an area
they go. This is where people stay if they need
a quick place to stay, and they help you there's
like part of the organization that helps you find a
temporary place to live. Even if it's not temporaryly like
(01:00:57):
a week, it's temporary like four or five months.
Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
To quickly get in that's stressful. And then showing up
to a new locker room, which for us would be
a new studio, meeting everyone and trying to fit in.
Speaker 4 (01:01:08):
Yeah, how would you feel if you were traded at work?
I guess it depends if I'm being traded up or down? Yeah,
or because I would imagine that's how it feels for
some of these players.
Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
If you were traded in it and it's like I
feel like we got to trade Amy. I don't want to,
but she contract demands her too much, and so I'm
going to trade her for three different people. Like you
don't want to go. But that's how you're that good? Okay,
I get it.
Speaker 4 (01:01:33):
Yeah, But where am I headed? If I'm headed? But
as if I head down, I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
Where would I send you paramount plus what that's up?
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
It's just one for three. He'd be that valuable. Okay,
it'd be pretty interesting. Yeah, to anytime get a call
to go you're traded.
Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
It's got to be like a It messed with your
mind a little bit because you're think, why did I
get traded?
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Is it me?
Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
Or you would know unless someone's really fighting for you,
because it's not just that someone wants to get rid
of you. It could be that somebody really wants you.
Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
Yes, And it could also be the amount of money
you're making. Like in sports too, there there's a certain
amount of money you can spend per team per years,
like a salary cap. And if somebody's going to make
a whole lot more money the next year inside their contract,
you've got to clear some people out to be able
to not run over that cap, and so sometimes they
get traded or cut, or sometimes they trade the guy
(01:02:25):
that's going to make all the money because they don't
want to have to make that move. So that could
be it. Not So I think that would be super
interesting if all of a sudden, every job would allow
you to trade employees, that'd be crazy. Like I got
traded to be here, Yes, so it is. I had
I had to grovel a little bit to get you here.
(01:02:45):
They didn't want to let Scuba Steed free. How did
that make you feel? Scuba?
Speaker 9 (01:02:49):
It was actually kind of cool, like no one's ever
thought of me before in a sense. So I was like,
this is this is interesting.
Speaker 14 (01:02:54):
And I was in a place where I was looking
to almost like a football player. I was kind of like,
all right, well, my contract's up here and I'm looking
to go somewhere else. I'm weighing my options, and there
was a few options out there, and this is the
one that made the most sense for me, so I
went with it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
I never thought I would hire Scooba when I saw
him the first time. That's not the guy I'm gonna
hire without ever meeting him talking to him, because he
looks like he's gonna go I listened to dine Back,
Darryl and mash Pit, and he doesn't look like what
he is, which is a really kind, hard working guy.
(01:03:29):
He looks like someone who's gonna steal your wallet and
then kick you in the chest.
Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
And then when he gets dressed up, he wears like
gold chain.
Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
And then he's like Miami and miamis deal. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's he's nothing like what he looks like under Dennis Rodman. Dude,
And so I remember meeting him going, oh, I really
liked this guy. He's really smart, and he was working
for Ryan Seacrest. He had a big job there, but
it wasn't as big as what I wanted him for here.
Ryan didn't want to let him go, but I had
an opportunity for him to come here and run this
(01:03:58):
show where he was right under the guy that was
running the show at Seacrest. And Ryan didn't want to
let him go, and I understood why, and I had
to call Ryan and be like, dude, please, like I
can give him some growth. And Ryan was great and
they but it was it was dicey for a me,
and it wasn't a scuba it was.
Speaker 14 (01:04:13):
Yeah, I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able
to go or not. And there's also an opportunity in
New York that they were asking me for, but I
was kind of I don't really want to because I
wanted to build my family as well on a personal level,
and New York wouldn't have been that.
Speaker 4 (01:04:23):
For me if I got traded to New York. You know,
I've always wanted to live there, at least for a
little bit, and I'm sure once I lived there, i'd
you know, scratch that itch and be over it. That's
just something I've always wanted to do since I was
first time I went to New York when I was
a freshman or sophomore in college, and here I am
forty five. Never been able to make it happen, So
(01:04:44):
it probably won't never.
Speaker 9 (01:04:44):
But so you're saying I should have gone to New York.
Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
No, because you had goals and dreams of what you
want to do with your family. I'm just saying, at
twenty years old, I kind of thought in my mind.
And then when we used to go there way more
for work. We don't really go as much anymore, but
there was a season where we were going a lot,
and I loved my vibe when I was there. I
mean we'd only be there for two or three days
sometimes maybe sometimes even in and out one day, but
I when I would walk down their streets, there was
(01:05:09):
just something different about me. I felt so different. I
loved it, and I was like, imagine if I lived
here and I had this energy all the time. Which again,
people that live there, they're like.
Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Oh, just wait till you get sucked out of you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
Yeah, it sucks the life out of you. So I
totally get that. I know that. I'm just girl from Texas, like, oh,
New York City that has this like you know, aura
about it, and I could chase my dreams and anyway,
it's probably not gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
I got offered a job there right before you asked
me to come on the show.
Speaker 4 (01:05:38):
That's right. You could have lived that dream.
Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
No, oh no no, because the money that I think
I would have gotten, I would have been living in
Jersey taking the ferry every day.
Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
It would have been like tug boat, right, not even
the subway, the ferry.
Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
I feel like that's the worst of the worst, when
they're running the ferry.
Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
I almost in the early part of this show felt
like I was gonna have to live in a New
York three days a week.
Speaker 4 (01:06:00):
I remember that, and I was like, yes, please.
Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
Yeah, because I never think anything's gonna work out. But
ABC was really gassing me up about that talk show
that Dean Sanders and I were doing, because they paid
for all of the pilot and it was well received,
and we thought we were gonna do three day a
week taping for five days a week shows. So you
do Monday tape, two shows on Tuesday, two shows on Wednesday,
(01:06:27):
and then I'd be back in Nashville every week, and
I saw I was like looking around trying to find
a play assistant case. ABC was like, we feel really
good about it. And then there was which just happened
to me a couple of times. There was change high
up in the management position right around that time, and
so it wasn't their show that so they were like,
it's not for us. But yeah, it got so close
that I started to look to find a place to live.
(01:06:48):
It wasn't that I really didn't want to live in
New York or wanted to. It was I didn't want
to go back and forth so much every Yeah, that
would have been hard, even when I was doing Dancing
on the Stars, just going back and forth for three
months a lot farther.
Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
Oh yeah, to California doing those Red Eyes.
Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
Like finished taping the show, go to Lax, get on
a plane, land and it's time to do the show
as soon as you land, because you get the two
hours are lost the overnight. Brutal, brutal, brutal, brutal. Okay,
thank you everybody for listening. I hope you have a
great rest of the day. Always appreciate you guys. If
you're a part tour, you are the absolute A plus
best to us. Thank you so much and we will
(01:07:25):
see you guys tomorrow. All right, bye, everybody,
