Speaker 1 (00:02):
Billboard put out the Hot 100 songs of the 21st century,
so that would be 2000 on, right?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Yeah, because 20th century was in the 90s.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
So I have the top 100 songs. Tell me how
many of these you can sing. Okay. Can you sing
the number one? By the way, I know I'd know
it if I heard it. I couldn't sing the number
one according to the biggest song of the 21st century.
No way. Yeah, can you sing... Blinding Lights by The Weeknd? Mm-hmm. Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
I need help, though.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
And I'm sure if I heard it, too, but I can't.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Oh, man, I feel like I had it, and now
it's escaped me, but fine.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
No.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I got it.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
You do?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah. Okay, go.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I'm blinded by the light.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Whatever that is, I don't know it. That's not it.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
That's it, that's it.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
You're thinking, blinded by the light.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I think that's probably 20th century.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, that's like the 70s, isn't it? Like the 20th century?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Oh man, I hear it.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
The number one song we can't sing back. We know it.
I know we know it.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
If we get a tiny hint.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yes, but we get no hints. For sure, Lunchbox knows it.
Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Blinded lights. And it has.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Well, now I have the dang song Eddie was singing
in my head.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
But it has a.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
I'm telling you, guys.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
The weekend, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Think the weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
I'm telling you, I have it. I just can't sing it.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
That's exactly where I am.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
No, you can sing, so no.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
I hear it. I just, my voice can't put it out.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Blinding lights, lights, lights.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Blinding light.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Blinding. Picture the weekend, dancing around on stage.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Blinding light. Okay, Mike, I know you can lead us
there with a little hint. We're all going to go, oh,
my God. But I didn't know. Go. And I said, ooh,
I'm blinded by the light. Eddie, you keep singing the
wrong note.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
That's what I'm saying, man.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
You're on the wrong tone, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
He's right.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
And I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the light.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Da-da-da-da.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Oh, da-da-da-da. Yeah, I got it. Okay, yeah. Da-da-da-da.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
That is the number one song. Mm-hmm. And I said, ooh. Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Dude, you're the best singer in here, and you're screwing us.
That shocked me that that was number one, not because
it was one, but because we couldn't sing the one. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
That's hard. You think you'd sure be able to sing it.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Number two is easy. Uptown Funk.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Uptown Funk gonna give it to you. Uptown Funk gonna
give it to you.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
That's all I got.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
But that's it.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Lunchbox, the number three song since the year 2000. Can
you sing.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Stay from the Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber? No.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Why don't you stay with me?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
That's what? That's the British guy.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Oh, Sam Smith?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, Sam Smith, yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Oh, that's not fair. They have the same title? That's
not cool.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
So, okay, now you got me off, though.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
This is hard.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I know Stay. Oh, but now I'm doing this.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Sorry, I'm just singing Sugar Land in my head, so
I'm of no help.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Why don't you stay?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Is that the one that goes, don't you stay, stay, stay?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
No? No?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
How does this one go?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Mike.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Oh, whoa.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Oh, whoa.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I'll be effed up. I don't know the lyrics.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
How's the chorus chorus go? I didn't know that's what
they were saying, but now I do.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Can you pull up the lyrics to that one?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Hmm.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
I don't think I've heard that one.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
You have, and I've heard it a million zillion times.
This game just gets harder the more songs you start singing.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Oh, well.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
I'll be. I don't know. I don't know, man.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Does this mean we're getting old?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
It means it's hard to have melodies, multiple melodies. Okay,
let me try this one.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Why don't you stay?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, that's what I was doing.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Why don't you stay? Why don't you stay?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yeah. Okay, wow. Okay, next up. Pretty easy one. Number four,
Party Rock Anthem.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Party Rock!

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Okay, sing it.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Yeah, that's... Okay, hold on.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Is that the one that I work out? Is that
how I work out?

Speaker 1 (05:17):
That's how I'm sexy and I know it.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Okay, hold on. Party rock. Party rock.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Party.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Is that da-da-da-da-da-da-da? Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
Party rock.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I can do this one.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Come on.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Everybody in the house tonight. Give a zaba-zaba feeling just right.
Because we're going to make you lose your mind. Da-ba-zaba.
Shake that, shake that. We got that one. That's four,
that's four. It's crazy those are the four biggest songs
since 2000 so far. Number five. See if you can

(05:54):
get it by me doing this. Nah, I can't do it.
Black Eyed Peas? Yes.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I got a feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
That's five.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Wow, that's early, early.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Had to be, right?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah, because I was listening to that in college before
we'd go out. Right?

Speaker 1 (06:18):
You were?

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Like 2003 or something?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
I think you guys were on the radio then.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Well, Bobby might have been, but I was still, I
was doing my senior year. Oh, wow.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Was it 2003?

Speaker 2 (06:25):
It had to have been around 2003 or four because... 2009. 2009. No.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I was going to say Amy. I feel like we
were all in Austin.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
No.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
We were playing that on the radio. But then what
Black Eyed Peas song was I getting ready to in college?

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Let's get it started. Oh, the first one they had, though,
with Fergie, because Fergie wasn't always a part of the.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Group, was.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
What's wrong with the world today? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
What's wrong with the world today?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Wait, Fergie wasn't in that? Yeah, she was in that one,
but they weren't always with Fergie. Oh. People live and
people die. Where's the love is one you're thinking of.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
No, we'd listen to it to get pumped up to
go out, and I don't think that's the one.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Well, it was in 2009. 2003. There you go.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Was it really that?

Speaker 1 (07:19):
People killing, people dying.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Wow, I'd be like getting ready to go to the
club with that.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Number six on the list, though, is I'm in love
with A stripper.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Shape of you?

Speaker 1 (07:32):
No, not a stripper.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Oh, a tea paint.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Ed Sheeran, not a shape of you.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Oh, I'm in love with the shape of you.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Number seven is a Morgan Wallen song. Which one?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Your Mama, Call Me.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
No.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Call Your Mama Praying, Mom's Praying, Your Prayers Are Not Wasted.
What's that one? No. Oh, Whiskey Glasses.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Up, Down?

Speaker 4 (07:53):
No, I got it. What? I Had Some Help.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
No.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
That's the one I know.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
It's Last Night.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Last night we let the liquor talk.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Oh. I was saying I'm in my boots.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Number eight. Lunchbox, sing the Chainsmokers and Halsey closer. Oh,
I know that one. Oh. It's one that I can
get to.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Closer to you. Closer to you.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
This one's because it's like, We ain't getting colder in Boulder.
We ain't never getting older.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
The t-shirt back in Boulder with the mattress that is older.
And your roommate back in college. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Number nine. Do a leap of levitating.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Oh, that's a good one.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Levitating.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
And then a little baby. I want you.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Moonlight. Sunlight.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Starlight.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
I need you.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Moonlight. Starlight. Daylight.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
I'm levitating. That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I'm levitating.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Number 10, Mariah Carey, We Belong Together.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
We belong together.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, that's a pretty simple one. What year was that?
Tell us where you were in your life when you
were hearing that song.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
I'm just saying it had to be early because I
feel like Mariah's hits were 90s. So was that like 2000?

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Probably. Like a 2001 or something.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Probably when you were going out.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
2005.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
2005. This one's easy. Usher and Lil Jon Ludacris, yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Harry Styles, As It Was.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Oh. Oh.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Oh, is that the... As it was.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
As it was.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Sign of the Times?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Is that it?

Speaker 1 (09:40):
That's a different song.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Guys, I'm nailing it. As it was. As it was.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Right?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Am I not nailing it, Mike?

Speaker 3 (09:49):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yeah. Huh, if that's it, I'm glad as.

Speaker 6 (09:54):

Speaker 3 (10:23):

Speaker 1 (10:23):
What's Spider-Man then?

Speaker 3 (10:24):
That's Sunflower.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Oh, that's a jam. Sunflower. Yes, yes. Rihanna and Calvin Harris,
We Found Love.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
We found love in a hopeless place.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
That's a good one. Maroon 5 and Cardi B. This
one was a jam that I would never listen to
on my own, but it would stay in my head.
Girls Like You. Cause girls like you than guys like me.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Oh, dang.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Yeah, I forgot about that song. Girl like you. You
nailed it. You nailed it.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Did I?

Speaker 3 (10:58):

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Cause guys like you. I need a girl like you.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
How did yeah go?

Speaker 1 (11:06):

like you.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
You actually nailed it. I actually know what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
This one's very easy. Number 16, Flo Rida in T-Pain Low.
She already got the apple bottom.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Jeans, boots with the fur, the clubs looking at her.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
She hit the floor. I'm not going to get this
one until you guys get it for me, but I
know I know it. Glass Animals Heat Waves.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Oh, this is very popular.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
It's a real high voice.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
My kids would listen to it all the time. Sunflower heart.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
I feel like Scuba used to play this one after
everyone left. Oh, how does it go? Man, I know
it's a high voice.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Can you get it?

Speaker 3 (11:55):
That's it! I'm doing Post Malone.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Man, you nailed it, Mike. I play that a lot.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
So did my son.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
I can't get there. I can't get it there in
my head.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Do it, Eddie.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Man.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Commit to it, though.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Okay. Heat waves when I think about you.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
All I think about you. Is it a big TikTok song?

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yeah. Sometimes all I think about is you.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
I want to figure you out.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Heat waves.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Heat waves been faking me out.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Faking me out.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Oh, I can't get there. Number 18's easy, Somebody That
I Used to Know.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Somebody that I.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Used to know.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Damn, that was a jam, dude.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
What was that, Gautier?

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Mm-hmm, Gautier. Number 19's easy, Despacito.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
Despacito.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Lunchbox, sing number 20, Rolling in the Deep, and who's
it by?

Speaker 4 (12:57):
It's by Adele and I'm rolling in the deep.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Rolling in the deep.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
That's all I got. I don't know how, what are
the other words in the song?

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I think that killed it for me, though. No, no, no.
Now I don't think I can get there.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
What do you mean?

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Oh, I got it.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
Go.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
She could have had me rolling in the deep.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
No, no, it's not rolling in the deep. It ain't
that quick.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
She could have had me. It's not moving this close.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Rolling in the deep.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
No, no, no, no. Go to the first part you sang.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Okay. She could have had me.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
But rolling in the deep it's longer the deep is long.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
She holds that note for us she gotta have.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Me that's it that's it that's it it is yeah
I think it's we could've had it all rolling in
the deep that's so hard and then her background singers
go rolling in.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
The deep no I got it pretty good have you
guys heard the Sam Cooke story it's been going kind
of viral recently Do you know who Sam Cooke is
by any chance?

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Don't be insulted if you don't.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
No, I know who he is.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Okay, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
I don't know the story.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
No, the songs.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
No, do you know Sam Cooke's music?

Speaker 2 (14:17):
I mean, I've seen him around.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Oh, you've seen him around? He's on tour right now?

Speaker 5 (14:24):
No.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
I wasn't saying that to shame you. I just wondered
if you knew.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Well, it feels like it. If you want me to say,
I don't know who you're talking about. I've never heard
of him before. But that's not the case. I've heard
of him. I just don't know much about him. Like
if we were playing Celeb on the Head, I'd have
to be like, I need a new card.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
She did that with Tom Holland. She did. Because she
didn't know enough about Tom Holland.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
What's the new story? Is there a new story on
Sam Cooke?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
What's that?

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Kind of. So he has songs. My favorite Sam Cooke
song is probably, it's hard to do this with all
the singing. I know you send me. I know you
send me. Promise you do. You know that song?

Speaker 2 (14:58):
What?

Speaker 1 (14:59):
I don't. Okay. Hmm.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Scared to say if I do.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Bring it on home to me. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah. Rolling in the deep.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Okay. So anyway, he, Sam Cooke, he also had a
change is going to come. Doesn't matter. So he was
married and his friend's name was best friend as adults
was Bobby Womack. W-O-M-A-C-K. Sam Cooke ends up dying. Bobby
Womack married Sam Cooke's wife. Pretty soon after. Sam Cooke's dead.

(15:32):
Sam Cooke died. He's dead. Oh, he died a long
time ago.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
So you haven't seen him around.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Yeah. You could probably find.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
I've seen him around.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I still feel like I've seen him.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Now, he died in 1964. Yes, but I've seen him.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
That death was weird, too.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
He was shot in the heart by the motel manager.
Remember that?

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Yeah. It was in a motel, but they're not sure.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Yeah. So he dies. His best friend marries his wife. Okay.
Everybody with me?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
They're married. Sam Cooke had kids, right? With that woman
that he married. So they're his stepkids. He ends up
falling in love with one of his stepdaughters. Marries her.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
No.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
No.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
The best friend? I thought the best friend was married
to the ex-wife.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Yeah, well, they got divorced, Eddie.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
And then they got a divorce and he fell in
love with his stepchild?

Speaker 1 (16:24):
No.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
What the?

Speaker 5 (16:26):
No.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
That's awkward.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
So. Sam Cooke, Sam Cooke's best friend, marries Sam Cooke's wife,
falls in love with one of Sam Cooke's kids, marries
Sam Cooke's daughter. Right?

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
So it's Bobby Womack, the best friend, marries Sam Cooke's daughter.
They have, I believe, three daughters, and they're a singing
group now, and they're really good.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
No way. So maybe that's who you've seen around.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Yeah. Maybe.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
No.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
No.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
He's got to be rolling over in his grave over this.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Yeah, well, first for your best friend to marry your ex-wife.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
And then your daughter.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
I'm 87% sure that story's all correct.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Wow, that is.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
And the reason that I know this is I'm a
fan of the three girls that sing. I think they're
called like the Womack. But they're Sam Cooke's grandkids.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yeah, because Sam Cooke is their dad.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Yeah, but how does grandma feel? No, no, no.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
The Womacks?

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Wait, hold on. Maybe they're not Sam Cooke. Maybe they're
Sam Cooke. Nothing to Sam Cooke. They're just the moms.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
No, no, no.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
Because they were the kid of Sam Cooke.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Oh, that's right. That's right.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
So they're Sam Cooke's grandkids. So what I'm saying is,
how weird is it for Grandma? She was married to
the dude.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
That fathered her. The Womack sisters are the daughter's?

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Oh, his brother married. Okay, so Sam Cooke's best friend,
Bobby Womack, like you were saying, married Cooke's widow, Barbara,
just three months after he died.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Got it. Fishy shady. Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Later, Cooke's daughter, Linda, married Bobby's brother, Cecil Womack.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Okay, so it wasn't the same guy then.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Okay, so what about, did Bobby Womack ever marry anybody
else though?

Speaker 2 (18:07):
I don't know yet.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
I'm telling you, and Sam Cooke's death is weird because
he was with a prostitute in that hotel room where
he was found dead.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Oh, no.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
How tragic.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
It was Sam Cooke's best friend who married his wife
right after, and that was weird. And maybe it was
his brother then that married his kid. Better.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Better.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Yeah, slightly better.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Okay, so Bobby Womack married Barbara, the widow of his
mentor Sam Cooke, in 1965. He later had two more marriages,
first to Evelyn Evans in 1973 and then to Regina
Banks in 1975. Doesn't say that they're related.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
I read that story wrong because I read Womack then
married a kid and it was the brother Womack.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
It was his brother.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Okay, so the grandchildren have a band now?

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
And they're really good?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Yeah, they're three singers.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Okay, I need to look that up.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Wow, you marry your mentors?

Speaker 1 (19:02):
The Womack sisters are the granddaughters of legendary soul singer
Sam Cooke. Their mother, Linda Cooke, and their father, Cecil Womack, together.
They were Womack and Womack. They're the nieces of Bobby Womack,
who was Cecil's brother. Anyway, they're really good. That's all
I'll point to that. And then Amy, I guess, used
to hang out with Sam Cooke going to college.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Yeah, I see him all the time. Saw him around.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
I see him around.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Something like that.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Maybe that was Sam Smith.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
All right, kids are all back at school. We're going
to do Name That Sound Classroom Edition. So I'll just
play you a sound. I have 13 of these, so
we're going to roll all the way to the end.
High score wins. You're not out if you miss, okay? Good. Example.
Do you all want to go?

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Boom.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
When you wake up in the morning, I.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Think I'm going to make it on time.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
All right. That is a bell ringing. Yeah, school bell.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Good.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
All right. No points there, but let's go. Number one.
I don't like that. That's terrible. That sucks.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
We're all good hearing it, right?

Speaker 1 (20:15):
I don't need a double. We usually double those up,
but that sucked. Amy? Chalk. Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Chalk on the chalkboard.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Eddie?

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Yeah, I did chalkboard.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Okay, good.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
We'll give you that one. Okay. Number two. Again.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
I'm in.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
Again.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
I'm in.

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Ooh.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
That could be one of two things.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Oh. Oh.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Really?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Yeah, it really could.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
I have to just go with my original, but I
do hear another one.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
I mean, I got what I have down. I'm in
for the win.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
You got what you have down? Yeah. What do you have?

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Stapler.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Amy?

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Stapler.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Eddie?

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Where's my stapler?

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Where's my stapler? You missed my stapler?

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Correct.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Next.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Whoa, that can be a few things.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
I'm in.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
I'm in. I'm in for the win.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (21:25):
That's the marker on the overhead projector.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Amy?

Speaker 2 (21:29):
That's a dry erase board.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Eddie?

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Dry erase board.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
That's what I wrote. Whiteboard, yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
So I don't think we can give that to Lunchbox.
Unless you can explain what that means.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
You don't know what the.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
You know the overhead projector when they write on it? Oh, you're... Okay,
so you're writing up, but you're talking about you have
to write it down on that thing. Yeah, you have
the marker that writes on the... On that clear piece
of paper.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Yeah, that goes on the.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Yeah, but you don't do that with a dry erase.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yeah, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Correct. He's not right, but I didn't know. I was
just making sure we were getting it straight.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
What do you mean you don't do it with a
dry erase?

Speaker 2 (21:57):
You do it with a little thin... Oh, I don't
know if... It's not on a dry erase board. You're
not doing... That's not going to make that same sound.
It's because of the dry erase board.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Isn't that writing on a clear sheet of something?

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Transparency.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Right?

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Transparency.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
Paper?

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Or no? Or is it just straight on that thing
and you.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Wipe it off?

Speaker 4 (22:16):
No, it's a little piece of thing and then you
wipe it off.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Got it. Okay. I tried, man.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
Next.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
What? Oh.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
I'm in.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
What?

Speaker 3 (22:35):
I'm in. You gotta be kidding me.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
All right, I'll go with that.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Lunchbox.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
Hole punch.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Amy.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Pulling tape off a tape dispenser.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Eddie.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Three ring binder.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Play it again, Ray.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
No, Amy got it.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
It's a tape dispenser.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Amy got it.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
And the rip off, yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Good job, Amy.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Next.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
I'm in.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Is that school? Oh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Boy, is it.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Again.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
All right. Lunchbox.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
Electric pencil sharpener.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Amy.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Electronic pencil sharpener.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
Eddie.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
Electric pencil sharpener.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Good job.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Oof.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
So far, Amy's up five, Eddie four, lunchbox three. Yeah. Hey,
long ways to go.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
No, I'm still in it. Next.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
What the?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Get a little harder here.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Did someone pass out?

Speaker 2 (23:49):
I'm in. Can I hear it one more time?

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Well, we get three already.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
We're done-zo.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Can we get a bonus? Nope.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
She said done-zo, so.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
I'm in for the win.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
You don't want to hear it again?

Speaker 5 (24:01):
I'm in. Okay.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Eddie, what do you have?

Speaker 3 (24:07):
I have a punching bag. Amy?

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Cleaning erasers.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
No.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
What?

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Lunchbox.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Closing textbooks. Correct.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Boom.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Wow, maybe he is coming back.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
He's back.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Wait.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Amy, five. Eddie, four. Lunchbox, four.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
That's exactly what it sounds like when erasers are banged.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
We still got a lot to do. Yellow card.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
Wouldn't it help to hear it again, Amy?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Yellow card.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
It would have.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
It would have.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
No, it would have confirmed my- Yellow card for Amy.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
All right, next. Next.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
Huh. Oh, well, was there something there at the end?

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Yeah, but I don't, I see the answer and I
still don't get that one. But go ahead and do
it again. Feels impossible. But Lunchbox can get back in
it if he knows it.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
I'm in.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Yeah, that was hard.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Yeah, that's a tough one, but I'll go ahead and
get it. I'm in for the win.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Eddie? Eddie?

Speaker 3 (25:08):
I have writing with a pencil.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (25:10):
That's cutting paper with scissors.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Amy?

Speaker 2 (25:12):
That's a protractor.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
No, it's when you turn that combination lock.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
Oh, like on a locker?

Speaker 3 (25:17):
To open the locker.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
Dang it. That was my chance. All right, all right.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
One, two, three, six left. Next.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
I'm in.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
I'm in.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
I'm in for the win.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Eddie?

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Cutting paper with scissors.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Cutting paper with scissors.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Amy?

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Cutting paper.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Cutting paper's correct.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
You're welcome.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
Thank you, lunch.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Next up.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
I'm in for the win.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
I'm in.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Everybody good?

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Amy? Bag zipper.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Bag zipper.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Zipping up the old backpack.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Eddie?

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Zipping up the backpack.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Correct. Okay, there's four left. Amy's still up one, but
this is a hard one.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
So dial in. Here we go.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yeah, one more.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
I'm in.

Speaker 6 (26:50):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
This is hard.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Dang. There's a little Z.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
At the end that kind of tore me off.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
All right, need an answer, guys?

Speaker 4 (27:00):
All right, I'll change my answer. This could cost me
the game by changing it, but I'm in for the
win now.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Everybody good?

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (27:13):
Scantron going through the machine.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Eddie? No. Pencil eraser.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Amy?

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Pencil eraser.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Coloring in a map.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Eraser on paper. Eddie gets a point.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
Why not take it?

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Why not take it?

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Is that a pad?

Speaker 3 (27:26):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Oh, no.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Let me see.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Liar.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
Eraser right there.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Eddie now has seven. Amy has seven.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Lunchbox didn't lose any ground. He still just won back.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Oh, it's so dumb.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
But now he's won back to two instead of one.

Speaker 4 (27:39):
Three left.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Next. I'm in.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
I'm in. I'm defeated. I'm in for the win.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
Lunchbox.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Closing the gate on the playground.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Why'd you just give up? Amy.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
That's a locker.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
Eddie.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, shutting the locker.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Shutting the locker. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
What gate on the playground?

Speaker 4 (28:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
All right.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Next.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
Play it again.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
What?

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Dang, it sounds like something.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
Yeah, it does.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Dang, what is that? I'm in.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
That's not right.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
I'm in.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
I'm in for the win.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (28:46):
Rubber band around papers.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Amy?

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Rubber band. Eddie?

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Hole puncher.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Dang, pencil breaking. Will you play that one again? Ooh.
Snapping a pencil. All right, we're tied up here with
Amy and Eddie. Lunchbox can't win, so this has to
be a tiebreaker. So, Lunchbox, you can't play this one.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
I'll write it down anyway.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
And then you two, if you don't get it, I'll
give you a hint each time.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
All right, go.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
This can't be.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
What? Hit it again. It's a hard one.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Okay, I have something. I'm in.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
I'm in.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
He just acted like he got it. Stop. He threw
his pen down like he had it.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
Got it. But I'm not in, so I can't win.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Right.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
Amy, what do you have?

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Rubber band.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
Eddie?

Speaker 3 (29:41):
I have making a paperclip jump. Remember how you do that?

Speaker 1 (29:44):
So those are both wrong. Good. What do you have, Lunchbox?

Speaker 4 (29:48):
That is when you open a three-ring binder.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Boop.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
No, you're wrong.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Okay, so you two are still in the mix here.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
What was that?

Speaker 3 (29:54):
We got hints.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
No, it's hints. It's the last one we have. Oh. Yeah, um.
This is the result of pushing on something.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Are we saying our name?

Speaker 1 (30:01):
No, I'm going to play it again. Yeah. As soon
as you know it. As soon as you know it.
This is the result of pushing on something.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Do we have one guess for this hint?

Speaker 1 (30:17):
You do until the next hint.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
So you can take a guess now if you want.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Go ahead. Okay.

Speaker 5 (30:23):
Eddie.

Speaker 4 (30:23):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
Opening a door.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
No. Anything?

Speaker 2 (30:28):
The recoil on the little door thingy.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Yeah, I remember something like that, right?

Speaker 1 (30:32):
The door thingy.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Yeah. The boom that it hits.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
The stopper.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Door stopper.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Oh, interesting.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
No.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
But I will say as this hint, a similar thing happening. Huh?
From when you push the door stopper and go doink.
That's kind of what's happening here. Push it and go doink.

Speaker 3 (30:50):
Play again.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Oh, Eddie!

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Eddie!

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Eddie!

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Is it a ruler?

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Correct. Eddie is our winner. Nice job.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Did you guys know that Eddie has a publicist now?

Speaker 2 (31:05):
I did not.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
What do you got?

Speaker 2 (31:07):
A publicist for what?

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Oh, dang.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Wow, Amy. Oh, salsa?

Speaker 1 (31:11):
No. What do you mean he has a publicist? Why
are you scratching your head?

Speaker 4 (31:16):
Go ahead.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Well, because he spoke. Like, he speaks and.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Does, like... Oh, yeah. Yeah, I speak on foster care stuff.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
I've done it a few times. Why is that irritating?
Do you know what a publicist does?

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Yeah, finds your gigs.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
No. Gets you publicity. An agent gets you gigs.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
They're completely different jobs. All right, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
They're writing up things about him?

Speaker 1 (31:38):
So that would be what a publicist does, right? Pursues publicity.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
I don't even want to say anything. They're already hating
on me.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Oh, wait. I haven't hated at all.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
You laughed.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
You laughed.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
No, I said for what?

Speaker 3 (31:48):
With a laugh behind it.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Wait, but no.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
I'm in the same boat, Amy.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
No, I'm not with Lunchbox on this. I'm excited for you, Eddie.
What's it for? Go ahead.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
No, honestly, I didn't know I had a publicist either,
but a friend of mine had heard that I had
spoken at some of these foster care things back in Texas,
and they're like, oh, my gosh, we'd love to get
Eddie for a speaking gig. So they went to that
foster care organization and said, hey, how did you get
a hold of Eddie? Because I haven't talked to this
friend in a long time. I don't know their number.
They don't know my number. And so they said, well,

(32:19):
we don't know, but here's his publicist. And I was like,
that's cool. I have a publicist.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
You know who his publicist is?

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Tom Lord?

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Morgan No. 1.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Yeah, Morgan No. 1. On the list, it said Morgan
was my publicist.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
So is she going to get a percentage?

Speaker 1 (32:37):
No, no, honestly. That's not how that works, though. Publicists
don't get a percentage.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
How do they get paid?

Speaker 1 (32:42):
You pay them monthly for a publicist.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Oh, not me.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
I get mine for free.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
No, no, no.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
So I'm sure Morgan just organized this for Eddie and
it just was down as a publicist. But a publicist,
you pay monthly regardless. Sometimes they can do nothing. I mean,
you pay them and they do nothing.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Well, but surely they wouldn't do nothing.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
No, there are months where nothing happens and you go,
I just paid all this money and nothing happened.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
So it's just a retainer because maybe the next month
they do double.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Well, it's not a retainer, though. It's literally you paid
them for that month and they got nothing. That's the
risk with a publicist.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
So if I wanted to get in the news for something,
would my publicist get something?

Speaker 1 (33:18):
They would try, but I can tell you it's hard.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
I feel like we should call Morgan and be like,
did you know you're at East Publicist?

Speaker 3 (33:25):
He probably doesn't know.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
The fact that Lunchbox was getting irritated before I even knew.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
I know, dude.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
So wait, you're going to go speak?

Speaker 3 (33:33):
I'm speaking in February at some other thing, but my
friend was just like, I would love for Eddie to
speak at this, but I don't know how to get
a hold of him. She eventually did through DM, but
she said that when she was telling me, she's like,
once they said go through your publicist, I'm like, I'm
not doing that. Like, I know Eddie personally. I'm not
doing any of this.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
She think you got too big?

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
She was like, is Eddie really like that big where
he has a publicist? And the answer is no. DM me.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
An agent would take 10%. A manager would take 15%.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
But he doesn't have to worry about that.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
He's got Morgan number one and everything for free.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
So that's his publicist. He doesn't really have a publicist.
So you saw a Van Waymo?

Speaker 2 (34:13):
A Waymo van. And it was baby blue.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Oh, I saw that one.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
They're awesome.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Okay, but I guess I didn't. I'm calling it a minivan,
but maybe it could be just a round SUV. It's
very futuristic looking.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Do you see how normal it is now?

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Yeah. I get what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
When we heard about Waymos, and most people listening aren't
going to have Waymos in their town, so it's the
car that doesn't have a driver that drives people around
like an Uber.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
And most every, well, actually, every single Waymo I've seen
before the baby blue minivan was just a white, small
Jaguar-looking thing. That's it.

Speaker 6 (34:47):
Is that what that.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
It says it's a Jaguar on the steering wheel.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Oh, wow. No, they look cool. I thought maybe it
was their own kind of car.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
Yeah, no, they're Jaguar. I don't know what this minivan was.
I couldn't tell.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
It looks like a VW van.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
Yeah, the newer ones.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
So now you can get a van. I don't have
the app yet.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Me neither.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
I would love to hear what you think once you're
in a Waymo.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
I think a lot of great things about it. That's
why I don't do it yet, because I don't want
to get in and be like, this freaks me out.
I can't do it. Because I'm pro-technology. For the most part,
I'm very, very pro technology, but I can be talked
out of it being advanced too quickly at times, but
I'm pro embrace it or it's going to run you over.
I guess that's how I should say that. Like embrace, no,
not the car.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
It will.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
But two years ago when I think Scuba Steve went
to San Francisco or somebody was like, you'll never believe it.
They're driving. And we're like, no way that's never going
to be here. And then it pops up here because
Nashville is considered one of the more progressive cities for technology.
I think Austin's got them. LA's got them. And they're
everywhere in our city now. Those white cars with the

(35:52):
rolly wheels on them on the front and on the top,
and there's cameras all over them, and there's nobody driving.
The weirdest one is when there's nobody in the back
or the front.

Speaker 5 (36:01):
Yeah, it's just an empty vessel just driving down the road.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
But I haven't seen the vans yet.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
You might see it now that I brought it up.
I feel like I'll probably start seeing more. But I
was like, what?

Speaker 1 (36:13):
In three years, we go back and listen to this
clip and we have those air taxis and we're going,
can you believe it?

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Yeah. It reminds me of that clip from the Today
Show with Katie Couric in the 90s where they're like,
have you heard about email?

Speaker 3 (36:25):
No, it reminds me of the ones where they're like,
they're trying to let us not drink and drive. That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
And I want to go to work.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
And not wear my seatbelt. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
It reminds me of when I predicted COVID.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
What?

Speaker 3 (36:38):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Bobby's the first I heard about it from about what
was coming.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
You predicted it?

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Well, it was a small story in China.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
And we talked about it. And I'm like, yeah, whatever.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
And what did you say? That it was going to.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
It's coming.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
Shut everything down?

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Well, it wasn't that specific. I didn't know all that.
But I was like, this is going to get here
if it's what they're saying it is, meaning it's something
that can transmit through the air. Like, we're here. No,
we did two minutes on it. I just read the story.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
I kind of remember that.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
And then... Maybe I brought it here.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
Just so you're right.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Yeah, yeah. I wanted to make sure. So I went over,
put it in a little Tupperware, and then brought it over.
But you know what? Anybody have a Waymo app on
their phone? Ray.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
I see him in a Waymo every Saturday around 11 a.m.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Ray, does the Waymo go to the country to pick
you up?

Speaker 5 (37:28):
No, it's my buddy's. We do it downtown. But yeah,
it's definitely its own separate app. It's about the same price,
but good luck. It's going to go on every side road.
It will never go on an interstate. If it usually
takes 10 minutes, it'll take 30, so hopefully you enjoy
your company. Oh, and it'll make the most random turns,
go down alleys. Good luck if there's construction. It'll start

(37:48):
backing out, and it'll cut people off. These things got
a lot of bugs right now.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
It cuts people off for sure.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Oh, on Broadway, it'll just start pulling into a car,
and we're like, whoa, robot, whoa, and people.

Speaker 5 (37:59):
Are dying laughing next to us, and it'll just merge
itself into a road that isn't mergeable.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
I mean, I do that sometimes.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
Don't let me in.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
I just put my nose in there and go.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
That's what it does.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
I'll be on the lookout. We got to go. Thank you, everybody.
