Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for the good news. Amy, tell me something good.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
It's July, so I have no idea why I'm getting
a check for Holiday Harmony, my Christmas movie. But I
just got one hundred and thirty four dollars.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
That's high, really high.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
That's December's money. It takes that long to.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Pay me in July. I feel like I got a
check earlier.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
This process it.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Oh, I know, but I got something earlier this year.
Between now and Christmas, I've gotten another check that was lower.
But maybe you're right. It's processing, and sometimes it's from
foreign screenings too, so maybe this is more of the
around the world check.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
If you write a number one song, you really don't
get paid for nine months wow, sometimes a year because
it takes that long for it to all happen and
then them to process it them for them to pay you. You.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Basically, your number one song is just now making the money.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, I'm just shocked that the checks still are coming,
like I thought eventually they would stop, especially a higher
one like that, because I mean, it may not seem
like that much, but it is, because some checks have
been like three dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Must be nice getting that mailbox money that's really, isn't
it so much? Do you think you've made total from
that movie all in mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Maybe maybe six thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
Nice, it's pretty good. Amy.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, it's including that one thirty four of course, and
I'm rounding up sod.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
You get paid like a lump So it did.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
It was more of the lump that's the chunk of that.
Most of that was the lump sum. The rest of
that has been the random mailbox money the last few years,
at very random times. It's not like every month, it's
just sporadically a check will arrive from Warner Brothers and like, cool, shout.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Out, nice, mine's going to be that Billy hit. Four months.
So she's four months old. Pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Months is cool, but it's not a birthday.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
You know you kept a baby alive for four months.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Well my wife did. I assisted.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
I was the soux chef and keeping the baby alive
for four months. Yeah, but she's thriving right now. Everything's good.
We had a good weekend. I mean that's what we
do on the weekend. We just stay home and not
just stay home. We stay home. I gotta not treat
it like just stay home.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
You get to stay home.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
We stay home, and the baby's on a rigid schedule,
and but she sleeps ten hours a night, so as
long as she gets like, she eats.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
Right.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
What I didn't know is a baby needs to eat
before they sleep so they can sleep long because if
they get hungry while they're sleeping, they wake up.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
So you just kind of make fource feed them. Except
they don't want to. They don't want to eat.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
They do this.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
You can't make eat.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
You can't make them eat. You can get a horse
to water, Eddie.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yeah, So, guys, I almost done in a car accident,
me and my three boys. I was on my way
to taking them to basketball practice and I was making
a turn. Somebody was coming out of like a parked
like uh, I guess like parked on the side of
the road. But they were trying to get out and
you turn. They thought traffic was open, but they didn't
see me. They pulled out right in front of me.
(03:11):
I slammed on my brakes, I skidded and probably missed
him by an inch.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
So the good is that you didn't have a wreck.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
I would have ruined everything.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
What did they do? Oh, this is the worst because
they messed up.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Yes, and this is the worst part. And then my
kids said this too. They're like, Dad, he didn't even
like look at us. He kind of like looked at
the car with and then just kept driving, didn't make
eye contact with any of us, just acting like I'm
gonna keep on driving. Luckily they didn't hit me.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Maybe he was so embarrassed, of course more so than
I don't know them an apology.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Yeah, but you know what I had to do. Pull
over for a second. I had to pull over for
a second because my heart was racing way too fast.
Like was That's never been me. I've always been like, Okay,
that was crazy. Who take a deep breath, Keep driving, dude.
I had to stop for like two minutes. Boys, hold on,
was everybody in the car. It was me and three
of my youngest my youngest, three boys, And it wasn't
(04:08):
your fault at all. It was not my fault at all.
And one of my boys, who's in the pastor seat, goes, Daddy,
that was mom driving. We would have definitely hit him.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I don't tell your mom that, okay, lunchbox, Uh yeah.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
Yesterday my middle child woke up and his swimmer's ear
was gone. He came back from vacation. We went to
the lake. He got some bacteria in there, and so
he's been on ear drops.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
So no pool for a week.
Speaker 6 (04:38):
And yesterday he woke up, he goes, Dad, I don't
even know which ear is hurting. And so the sun
was shining later in that afternoon, so we got pool
time in yesterday.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Did you go to the pool he just couldn't go
for a week, or did you go? No pool for anybody,
no pool for anybody. I mean it was raining a
lot of the week, so it really kind of worked out.
But yes, it was like, man, it's kind of mean
to make him go just sit at the pool and
watch everybody swim.
Speaker 7 (04:58):
So we didn't go, and yesterday we all went went swimming.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Kind of rained all weekend too.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
It's rain all the time.
Speaker 7 (05:06):
Oh it's rain till next Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah, I thought about doing some stuff and I stop
thinking about it once I looked and I thought maybe
it wouldn't rain yesterday because it said every hour.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
But then it just randomly rained in hard pockets.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
No, I thought I had a window to walk the dog,
and sure enough I made it like halfway on my
little walk that I do, and I'm halfway, so either way,
it's the same distance back home. And it started raining
on me, so I cut through houses, like, cut through
their backyards. Oh sprinting with my dog because that was
my only shortcut.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Your dog getting poop in anybody's yard, right, No, but.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I have bags with me if she were to you cut.
Speaker 7 (05:45):
Through people's yards.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Did that sounds risky?
Speaker 2 (05:48):
There wasn't.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I'd run through someone's yard if it was rain, I
really like.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
I'm your neighbor, it's raining. My house is right there. Like,
if I cut through yards, I can see my house.
Otherwise I'm going all the way around. It would take
me ten minutes.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
If you knew the neighbor, I guess that's okay. But
if it was a stranger, I'd freak.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Out's still risk it if you're running, what are they
gonna do?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I mean, just sign stranger if they say, like if
I say, oh, hey, i'm your neighbor.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
I live right there with a poodle whatever.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
She's a labberdoodle and they've definitely recognized my dog because
she gets out and ends up on the group text
of like there's a black doodle running around. I'm like, no,
that's mine. There's a couple that looks sort of like her,
but more times than not, it's mine.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Morgan.
Speaker 8 (06:30):
I did hot yoga this weekend and I nailed a
new pose that I've been really working on, which one
twisted pretzel move, basically where you cut like you're all
your arms are kind of wrapped around your leg and
then you balance on one leg to bring your arm
up and you're all wrapped around in it.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
I wish I knew the name of it, but that
one is really good for your reproductive organs. Nice, Okay, yeah,
it's really good.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
That's what they would say.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
They would say, and they would go, this is good
if you do this for a minutes, as good as
two nights sleep.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
You guys are so full of crap.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Not the yes savasanas. We're just laying there like dead man.
There is one where you go, yes, I know exactly
what move. I would did it so much back in
the day. I have most of the moves benefits memorized,
but not their names because they're weird.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
But they can just say stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
But the one, I know which one you're talking about,
because I'd be like, oh my gosh, I'm meeting so
much rest.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
They would say, if you do it for three minutes,
it's like a nice sa Yes, why don't people do
this instead of going to bed?
Speaker 2 (07:29):
And you take your arms in your head all the
way out and you slowly hit the ground and try
not to hit your elbows to the floor. And I
was like, I'm meeting so much dress right now. I'm
getting so much ress. And then there there's another one,
that one where you tuck your neck under. They'd be like,
this is so good for your thyroid. I'd be like,
I'm taking care of my thyroid right now, which to
your point, Bobby, yeah, it's like, do you have no idea?
Speaker 3 (07:49):
They can say whatever they want. I don't even know
that they're not telling the truth. But it never really
benefited me. But I didn't do it enough. I had
a couple of different seasons of hot yoga. Yeah, you've
probably done it forty times, so enough. But yeah, when
they would say this is as good as a night's sleep,
I just roll my eyes.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
You know.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
It was good for stretching and sweating, heart rate, heart
rate get up there a little bit. So yeah, that's
I'm not minimizing your move Morgan.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
No, that's okay.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
I was really excited.
Speaker 8 (08:19):
I just like trying to try new things and see
what my body can do. I get really excited to
be like, oh, I'm capable of that.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Didn't know that I've never done yoga. Never.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
The first three times you do it, you feel like
the stupidest man in the world if you're a man,
because you can't because everybody around you's doing it at
least halfway decent, and even the ones that aren't, you're
not paying attention to them. But then you realize after
about three or four sessions, nobody's paying attention to you,
so it doesn't matter when you finally start to get
okay at it is when you realize nobody's paying attention
to you. Should have never worried to begin with about
(08:49):
how stupid you looked, because nobody's looking at you, because
everybody has looked stupid when they've started yoga. That's kind
of the life lesson I took from yoga more than
any peace that set in on me, because I never
felt peaceful. I always felt like, we need a clock
in here so I can know how how long this
is gonna last. So then I started warning and watched yoga.
I know how long this class was gonna last. But
(09:10):
that's what I took from it is that nobody really cares. So, yeah,
you look stupid, but everybody else had to look stupid
at some point too, and they felt the exact same
way about everybody else in the room with them.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
But yeah, you feel stupid.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Does it smell bad in there?
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Sometimes you would think it would smell worse?
Speaker 8 (09:26):
Okay, I feel like it's really at the end when
everybody's walking out and you're realizing, like the cool air
is hitting you, and everybody's like, oh yeah, we all smell.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah, and then yeah, some studios are different, some classes
are different.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Okay, I've never been in a bad, sneaky one.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Maybe you have.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Oh yeah, I used to go I mean if I like,
I was so into it, if I left town, whatever
city I was in, I was googling. But this was
back when it was okay to do beam before Beakrim
got you know, he got in a lot of trouble
for really bad things.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yeah, but his style of yoga didn't.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah, but they don't call it that anymore. They don't
call it like hot twenty six.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I used to do Epstein's Wretches oh, they're just stretches.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
They're just stress right swell. It's very It's kind of
similar where you're like, oh, man, and the studios I
went to like they knew they like loved Beakram pretty
much like Borderline worshiped him. And now I'm like, I
wonder how they feel about him now. I wonder if
they ever got the hebgb's from him, and they just
like ignored it because like so many people came out
talking about their experiences with him.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Just hot yoga. I would just go to hot yoga.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Classes, well the Beakrim some hot yoga places. They would
mimic his sequence. So he's the one that coined those
twenty six poses. I mean there's a Vinasa flow which
is different, but if you're doing the hot twenty six
like the post Morgan's talking about, they it's like those
specific poses in that particular order that's an hour and
a half long. And I would go in random cities
(10:47):
I was in. I would google Beakrim studio and I
would show up in some studios. Yes, smelt worse than others.
And honestly, it was when I became a parent that
I really stopped going because you don't have the time.
I don't know how someone who works and has kids
can go to an hour and a half because I
wanted a shower before.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
He's doing ninety minute class.
Speaker 7 (11:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Oh, I would never do nine. I would only do sixties.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Okay, william Us have been doing hot Yoga.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Express, No, I was doing hot yoga.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
No, Beakram, did you do chataranga?
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Okay, So yeah, you're doing a vinosa flow. It's different.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
It's a whole thing in order.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
It sounds like a dance.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
It kind is Eddie should go to a yoga class.
But when you're sweating that much and the drive to class,
like the time it takes to do that, and then
the washing of the like you're like once I became mom,
it was like, there went my hot yoga career.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Beakram Yoga is most commonly called twenty six and two
and original hot Yoga Now. This reflects the identical twenty
six postures and two breathing exercises practice in a room.
Studios rebranded to distance themselves from the controversy surrounding its
founder Beakram. sureI what was the controversy?
Speaker 9 (11:54):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Oh yes, I mean he was very much a man
and abuse.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Due to multiple credible accusations of sexual assault, severe workplace harassment,
and aggressive legal control tactics over studio owners founder beikrom
Chawtay fled the United States after course ordered him to
pay millions in lawsuit judgments.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
I mean he would drive in a Rose Rolls.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Royce and then so they caught him and he split.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
I don't know where he is now. Sounds like it
for what happened, but he did make a lot of money.
And it's weird because you see it's like, you know,
yoga love.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
He's eighty two.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
You don't care about money.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
He's eighty two. Now he's in Thailand.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
He largely relocated his business operations overseas after facing multiple
civil lawsuits. Eighty two, he kind of got to do
all the bad stuff.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Yeah, and then got away with it.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Yeah, if you're.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Eighty two and you did bad stuff forever, you kind
of wanted the bad stuff game. You want to get
him in like forty so they have spent a lot
of time in prison for what they did.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
He would say, well, I also had these beakroom CDs,
Like if I couldn't make it to a class, I
would go to my attic hot and I would put
the CD in and he would say so. Some of
his script was like, like, you don't chase the money,
the money, chase a U.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
The accident sounds a little risky. It almost sounds like Mario.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Ma there a documentary about Yes, Yes, heels like I've
seen it.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
I wish we could go to hot yoga together and
we could record it. You want to, I mean, we
could go together and just do it before and after.
They won't let us take a camera in.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Yeah, you can't phones. Yeah, because people.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
We're your phonel like crash out because it's so hot.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
Dumb question. Would I have to wear yoga pants? No?
Speaker 1 (13:42):
I wore normal. I wore normal.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Shorts, but like, were they kind of biker esques?
Speaker 3 (13:47):
So later on I would wear biker shorts with normal
shorts over it. But I would still just wear normal
shorts and boxer briefs.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
But did they have the this built in net net?
Speaker 1 (13:58):
No? No, no, the r enough boxer breaks are tight.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Boxer briefs are tight.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
There was a time I did have pants that I
would wear occasionally because I was going a lot.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
I have just seen things I don't want to see
oh no, boxer b Yeah, yeah, yeah, because there's certain
moves and.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
If you're hanging out, yeah, you see.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
And if you're behind that guy, you see inside his pants.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
I did wear shorts underneath shorts a lot, and there
were some guys I would think, man, they must just
have all the confidence in the world, and it wasn't
even that they were ripped up. They would take their
shirts off, and I was I just was like, I
wish I could do that because they weren't in like
great shape, but they're really good at yoga and they
just didn't have a care in the world.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
And now we're just letting it all hang out. And
I was not looking at them laughing.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
I was like, dang, I wish I had that kind
of confidence because I'm in there in a turtle neck.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
So if we go we do that, take our shirts off.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I'm not no chance you could totally take your shirts.
I could.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
Again, I think I was in better shape than some
of those guys, but I'm so self conscious in my
body that I admired these guys who did not care,
like there's real strengthen that.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
So you could, Eddie take my shirt off. It's's all
about your confidence more so than what you look like.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yeah, I mean I take my shirt off at the pool,
but worried about it.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Of course you're at the pool.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Well what's the different Well, I guess not at the gym. Yeah,
it's a different friend that would be frowned upon him.
I took my shirt off at the gym though, right, Yes,
people don't need to take.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Your shirt off in the gym, yes, yes, but at
hot yoga.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
You we can go to a hot yoga class, but
you're gonna feel stupid.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
You're gonna and then you're gonna think everybody's looking at
you laughing, and you're gonna look at me, and it's
you almost should go by yourself because you're gonna go haha,
and you're gonna look at me and be like this
is okay, and I'm gonna.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Dude, just focus.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
But the thing is, I can't stretch, like dude, I
have no flex whatever.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
You can't none.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
I can't even touch my toes.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Same same, Oh I can't now because I worked. I
worked really hard to do it. Yeah, yeah, but the same.
Let's do some voicemails here voicemail number two Ray whose.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
Voice do I hear on the radio my freaking own.
Are you kidding me? I'm the guy that wants to
salus up. I'm not going to the studio. I'm not
going to floor. I'm not looking to get shot. I
don't want a to get shot. We can meet target
the corner wherever bro I want some of that salsa.
I love the show. I love you guys so much.
(16:19):
And it was so cool to hear my voice no
being played on the radio. That was crazy. I'm going
to tell all my friends now. Anyway, I love the show.
Speaker 4 (16:28):
Yeah, I'm he's part of the next order for sure,
because I just finished one order.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Do you have this guy's number?
Speaker 7 (16:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (16:34):
I have his number. So question about that that I've
been thinking, like, how do I call him or text
him without him having my No, you.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Don't, you're doing business. You just gotta text him.
Speaker 7 (16:44):
You got to get a business phone, man, not another phone.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Just text.
Speaker 2 (16:47):

Speaker 1 (16:51):

Speaker 1 (17:21):

Say that but do you know how much you actually

Speaker 7 (17:37):

Speaker 4 (17:38):

Speaker 3 (17:39):

Speaker 6 (21:00):
By wells, UH yeah I MEAN i I give. ABBY
respect I mean i, said that, you know she was
the lowest one on the. Totem pole that still means
she did a. GOOD job I guess i.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Wasn't there mean in any way she did a.

Good JOB but i just thought it was weird that
they chose the one that has the, least experienced the
least notoriety of any of us on. The show that's who.
THEY picked i found. That, strange yes and SO saying

Like that you just get up, and go, here's this,
here's that nothing.
Speaker 7 (22:35):
Nothing doing you're saying didn't take much talent for her to.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Do it i'm saying for any of us to, host
something it. Takes Nothing and abby had a personal relationship
that got heard that job true?
