Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for the good news.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yea, I'll go first. I'm kind of crushing it. As
social media director for the Bobby Bone Show page. I
posted a video ray.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Oh, are you taking over the Well?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I did that one. I posted a video of ray
naaling shots on ESPN Plus and my first post on
the Bobby Bone Show Instagram three hundred and twenty six
thousand views, let's go, one hundred and fifty four comments,
sixty shares.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
So yeah, I was wondering who that was?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yeah, me too, well me, because I nobody posted anything,
and I said, well, this is like big fun for
our show. So I posted the video and Ray I
picked like the high highlights, like you you were on
fire on this one. Thank you? Because there were definitely
some clips probably where I missed five in a row.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
No, because really, dude, you.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Were pretty much on But also there were rare shots
from just right behind you, right and you couldn't tell
the one in or not this one though, you were
on it, And so I posted it. But yeah, we've
done pretty good. Let's go easy, job easy? Who knew
who knould be a social media director?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Was so easy? So did that?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Who posted the Joe Nichols picture this morning. I don't know,
is it the contractors Google?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
I think it's our contractor Yeah, I mean we could.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
All divvy this up. Oh, Joe Nichols. I like Ojoe Nichols.
Joe and I get closer on football season, and mostly
it's oh.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
We suck, oh just a vent a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, and if we're at the game at the same time,
we're getting the same golf cart type thing or you know,
he's a big Arkansas guy too. You know, Joe, we
didn't talk about it. Could we've talked about it before,
but he was like a radio guy in Port Smith.
He was like an overnight DJ. I mean he doesn't
listen to his voice.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Boy.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, he's someone who had a good voice and that's
why he did it. I'm someone who had a terrible
voice and I had to find a different way.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
To do it.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
But Joe, Hey, Joe Nichols, here seven thirteen, let's play
the newest. Yeah that even this makes sense.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
So yeah, he worked at a small top forty country
radio station. That means top forty country, probably just to
pop like a current country station. So yeah, my first
one is that I did pretty good as social media director,
So congrats to me, good job. And number two, my

(02:17):
wife and I have often said if we're watching shows,
because we don't really watch movies. I've been on a
movie kick the last few weeks, but how we wish
there was something you can click that catches you up
on everything that's happened that episode. And I think the
same thing in a movie like AI should be paying
attention to what's happening, and then there should be a
button close caption, rewind the beginning, catch up, and it

(02:39):
just lets you know everything that's happened that's pertinent up
to that point. It should be fairly simple, and there
never has been. And then I was on Hulu watching
a movie I think it was called Amateur, and they
had the button. Now I didn't invent this, I'm just
surprised it took so long for it to happen. And
so I went and I the button, let me find

(03:03):
this here boom, and the button says recap and it
says AI, recap, beta, review, what's happened so far, no spoilers,
And so I hit recap movie and it sucked. It
was only three still images and it just gave you
three points but it was we're on track.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I'm surprised this hasn't happened by now already.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Okay, so it's all words. It's not like a little
video recap video.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
No, like a recap at the beginning. Got it of
a new episode, they'll do that.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah, I like to catch you up on the season. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
But yeah, I was in the middle of the movie
and I saw it pop up, and I said, Oh,
this is what we need because people on their phone
all the time. So, Mike, have you ever seen that before?

Speaker 3 (03:48):
I thought I saw something on Amazon.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I was similar, Well, this one kind of sucked, but
we're on the right track. So that's my other one.
I meant, we didn't do anything this weekend. Weekends are
for the baby.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, it's just Kaitlin and I just grinding out naps
for the most part, so that that's all. I don't
think I left the house. Did I leave the house
at all?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Are you guys doing walks or anything?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
It's so hot. The problem is one it's so freaking hot,
or it's raining, so we don't take the baby out
if it's one hundred and seventeen, and then it's raining,
and then she goes to sleep before it's night. Yeah,
so by the time it cools down, she's already asleep.
So we don't do that. So not yet. We were
in the fall though, and we did a little bit

(04:35):
before it got so hot. But the air went out again.
We've had the air goua out twice upstairs, and so
here's another one. We called whatever the emergency line is
to come get the air fixed. We've done it before
and nobody ever comes. Someone came this time, pick them
like six hours.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
But we got the air fixed. They fixed it. Yeah,
what's the problem? You know? You ask him?

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah, no, I asked him. I said, hey, what happened?
Because's two times it's happened in the past six weeks.
It was a different thing. First time it's like a
circuit board something went out. This time it was something
outside on.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
The outside, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
But also they could be a lying to me. I
don't know. I just so, what's up, man, What's what's
the deal?

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Dude?

Speaker 5 (05:11):
I always hit him with us show me and then
I was like okay. And then they come out and
they show it to me and I act like I
know what they're done.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
That's all I would do yeah, we're wasting butimore time
if I do that, because I'm just gonna fake like
I know what's going on. But they fix it, so
that was good.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
That's mine you uh my, tell me something to go
is a fixed thing too. Stevenson popped his front tire
on his bike, and I don't have an SUV that
it'll fit in. Like his bike's big enough now to
where I can't just load it up in my car.
And I thought, well, shoot, I'm gonna have to take
the whole thing to ARII and have him fix it. Well,

(05:46):
so then I'm talking to his dad and he's like, oh,
I wonder if you could just take the tire off
instead of loading up the whole bike. And I was
at another appointment with our daughter. And then two hours
later I get home and the bike is fixed. He
stopped by, picked up the tire, took it to ARII.

(06:06):
They patched it, and he put it on himself.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Your ex husband.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Yeah, So I was just thankful we didn't have to
buy a whole new tire. And then Stevenson was able
to ride his bike. And I think why Ben was
acting on it so quickly is he had picked Stevenson
up from cross country Friday, and the coach said, hey,
his shin splints are really bothering him, So no running
this weekend. He can ride his bike, but that's it
for training. And so I think Ben is like, oh shoot,

(06:32):
if he's got a popped tire, we need to take
care of this, like right now, because riding his bike
is the only exercise he can get.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Does he ride his bike to school or anything? I
know school's not even happening right now, but he does.
Do They have like a lot, like a place where
you put the bikes and that's cool, and.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
He locks it even though I'm like, no, what he's
gonna take it?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
You never know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
I feel like if it were nice, somebody would take it.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Yeah, it is, it is. I just sometimes that lock.
It's broken a few times and we have to order
a new one. It's been a whole thing to where
then he's like, oh my lock, my lock, and I'm like,
you're fine, just ride it. Like he's doing conditioning twice
a week right now, like for cross country. They have
this weightlifting thing at this gym that he's been riding

(07:15):
his bike to and he wasn't wanting to ride but
I was by when that is, I'm still at work.
I'm like, you can get there, just take your bike.
And so he sent me a picture the other day
when he went for the first time and he hit
his bike like behind this wall in a bush, and
he's like, I know I don't have my lock, but
here's where my bike is hidden in case.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
I like, I'd be worried I would steal it.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Yeah, I just don't.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
I just don't. I know, it's good for him to
be worried. I think that where that business is, he's good.
Nobody's gonna take it. But also he found a good
hiding spot between the bush and the wall.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I rode my bike to work or to school for
a lot of my life. Luckily I was close enough.
And also Mountain Pine wasn't nobody wanted that bike. It's
kind of a piece of crap anyway. But I rode
my bike to school from sixth grade until I got
a car. So sixth grade was twelve, so.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Four years and y'all didn't have a bus.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
I live close enough to the school.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Yeah, I mean we have a bus too, but.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, it's so fun to ride your bike. Yeah, and
it also saved a ton of time. If I'm gonna
get on the bus, I'm driving all around all the streets,
picking up kill everyone when I can be there in
nine minutes. But I left super close to the school.
So ah good.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Yeah, so we fixed that. We're good. Chin splints are good.
He went to cross train cross country practice this morning
as long as the coach said, if he can walk
up the stairs without him feeling anything on his shin splits,
then he can come to practice this morning.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
So, man, shin splints suck. And I was never a runner,
but I ran a lot. Even even someone who didn't
run on a schedule. It's hard to get rid of them.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Like, once you get them, they're kind.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Of the only way to get rid of them is
to rest.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
Yeah, I will say he's kind of My son's kind
of getting a little ripped from this weightlifting class. Yes,
it's the first time he's ever done.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Are getting old enough where he can get ripped?

Speaker 4 (09:05):
I know he's in me sixteen, I know.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Is he doing creating or anything? No, that's about when
I started. I didn't getripped. Yeah, but in Auston football
way back in the day, that's what they had you take.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
So we all were on creating. I didn't get that
ripped though, Eddie. Yeah, so about four times a year.
Lunchbox's friends they have this golf championship pool. So every
time there's a major championship, all his buddies get in
on it and they all send me an invite. It's
very nice of them, and I join, and I don't
win it all the.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Time all the time.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
But you wanted to lie now, I've wanted.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
Like maybe three times and we've played for how long
lunch was, oh years, I don't know, like six seven years.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
I've wont up three times. I won again this year yesterday.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
It came down too to like the wire, me and
some other guy, I think it was forest. We're neck
and neck. We tied and it came down to a tiebreaker.
So like when you sign up, you pick your golfers
and then you try to predict the score, the final score,
and I.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Was the closest to it. And that's the only way
I want.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
You've won this thing four to eight years, yeah, like.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
Three or four times, but we do it every major
championship of the golf, so it's four times a year
for eight years.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yeah, he'd only positioned it as that right positioned it.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
I positioned it the generically like I've wanted three or
four times.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
How much money do you win?

Speaker 5 (10:21):
One hundred and sixty bucks? That's pretty good, It's really good.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
So that was awesome.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Lunchbox yeers.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Uh yeah.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
My friend Meredith that I graduated high school was in
town this weekend, and so we went out to dinner
on Saturday night, had a nice dinner and it was
delicious and fun, just to catch up and oh yeah,
so it was just a catch up time with.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
A friend, delicious and fun.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
I love that Raymundo, you guys know mine just honestly
going out there and meaning to listeners. Some people actually
came there to watch me. People came out to watch
you competing. Papa shot Yeah, and luckily it was a
free ticket. But I felt so guilty because I was focused,
but I also wanted to give them some of my time.
So I did videos with him, I autographed some stuff,

(11:02):
took pictures and then even the players, you they don't.
It's weird because people don't necessarily put me on the
Bobby Bone Show because I'm not part of the Big Four.
So they're like, oh, you're on the Bobby Bone Show.
That's why The Bobby Bone Show is tagging oh your
sisan Ray Mundo, I mean Nicky Buckets. He's from Tampa.
He listens. The dude's from Denver. All listen. They're a
little mad at first. They're like, hey, we heard you

(11:24):
talking crap, Sandy. We did talk crap about people. That's
why I didn't like Onions when I was watching, And
I well, I told you guys, like, I mean, I
can handle myself in person. If a listener does come
up to me for stuff that I said, I said,
but I'm sorry if that offended you. You're obviously not
a loser. You guys do very well for yourselves. And
he's like, yeah, no worries, man, no worries. But we listen,
we heard you. I'm like, okay, you were going after people.

(11:44):
I definitely did. And I called him out by name
as well, and they all saw the clip. I'm like,
that's great, that's good.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Does Onions listen?

Speaker 2 (11:50):
No. Onions is like twenty one. He just got his
first job. I don't even think he's had a drink before.
He goes, Hey, man, what are you out here to do?
You're gonna go to a show, and I'm like, no, Onions,
I'm here to get win a tournament and go to
the pool. Are you doing, tiny, Tim? That's what he
sounded like. I mean, I think his voice just changed,
but I mean he was one of the favorites.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
He's talking right like Onons.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
No.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Onions came up to me when we were practicing before
the three hours at that NBA arena. He goes, oh, man,
you're starting to really figure it out. I'm like, Onions,
I'm forty okay. Yeah, he's probably been doing a long
long time. He has, and he's got the machine close by.
He's won, like he's yeah. He in Chicago, he was
the number one seed. He got dominated in the playoffs.

(12:31):
But yes he has one. So yeah. And it's crazy
how the scores changed, because just a year ago people
in the one hundred and nine range were making the
tournaments and stuff. Now it's the minimum almost seems one
thirty one forty. There were people only scoring forty five
points the seed. That was confusing because they only the
first round was forty seconds. No I know, but people

(12:52):
would score eighty and then some people would just get
off and score like thirty five or forty. Yeah, so
those could have been the Vegas qualifiers during the week,
because they did it for a whole week, so it
could have been a day that nobody really went. They
had whatever the highest score of that day, and so
then they were invited to Papa Palooza. But yeah, that's
a pretty low score, I mean, and to travel all
the way out there, Yeah, hotel flights and the grand

(13:16):
prize to be five grand. You're just doing it for
the love of the game. Correct. And I explained it
to people because we didn't know the format. I said,
think of it this way. My boss paid eighteen hundred
dollars for this flight, and I said, in theory, if
I get beat first game. I didn't know if it
was double single elimination, I could be done in fifty
five seconds on an eighteen hundred dollars flight. Thankfully, they

(13:36):
had a different format where it was knockout stage and
then you did head to head, so people really did
get to hang around for about an hour. Yeah, even
if you didn't score well. Yeah, and the flights for
you and Scooba the week before too, correct, Yeah? And Chicago.
Are you exhausted? Vegas twice in about a week and
a half span is wild. But I mean I told

(13:58):
my wife. I was like, that's the life of a wag.
I mean, you're like an athlete wife. Now what's a
a wife and girlfriend? So a wag his wife and
girlfriends got it. So his wife is a wag because
he's an athlete. You haven't made any money doing it,
so you're not pro yet. Correct. It was Chicago, Vegas, Vegas,
so it has been a lot of traveling. But I
didn't drink really because it was mainly focused on the basketball.

(14:20):
So it's crazy. Can you not get like a celebrity
into the championship?

Speaker 3 (14:25):
I mean we were we had a meeting with them
last week. We were hinting around that, hoping that there
would be some sort of like a pop ray in
just for this because she's like, I don't enough if
you guys can turn around a flight, you know that quick?
And I'm like, he's going to Vegas two weekends in
a row. We could definitely turn around a flight. So
I still leave it upen because it hasn't happened yet.
It doesn't happen until what like mid August, Yeah, so
I feel like there's still an opportunity.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
I don't think you play. For you to go though,
because I can hear in your voice you wanted to
get us celebri invite two. But this is just Ray.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
That's fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm well focused on No.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
No, no, disappointed.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
I know I'm already passed this season. This was my
trial period and I feel good with where I'm at
that I'm ready for next season.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Yeah, so we'd love for Ray to get a celeb invite.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
I'd love for it too, but I don't know if
that's a possibility, if that even exists, because you're not invited. No, no,
because I know, trust me, I'm lobbying in this season.
I am lobbying for Ray, and it have been from
after our Chicago one, but then I felt better after
our first Las Vegas for a But this season it's
all about Ray and so we're trying to get him
in but I don't see it happening, but we're gonna
try our best.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
And you know, professional golf, they have exemptions. Yeah, so
possibly Ray could get an exemption.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
He couldn't, but then if he doesn't, then there's always
next season. Is there next season?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Like?

Speaker 5 (15:37):
Is reyg goanna keep doing this? Because I feel like
he's really good at it. Just seeing him amongst the competition, Ray,
you mix in. Well, it's not like you're really bad
compared to these guys. You're in the group.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Thank you. And it was interesting seeing myself on TV.
I'm like, dang, I'm short. Oh that's what you thought.
I never thought that. Well, I thought that, And I
also thought, man, Buddy's put on a little bit of weight.
Do I need a diet or something. I was like, dude,
somebody gonna tell me I was a little round. Guys,
you're not that camera puts on about fifty pounds. I

(16:08):
can agree with that generally speaking, but yeah, I didn't
feel like at all you looked short or round. My
arms from the CREA team looked fat. I thought that
you look jacked. In my head, I'm like, Buddy needs
to get on the treadmill. If we're gonna do this again, yeah,
if we're gonna take it serious, we need to drop
a couple of these lbs. Maybe gets that virus going

(16:28):
round licking lettuce And.

Speaker 7 (16:32):
He's right, man, all the people you can beat you
against are in this Orlando one.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
That's what I'm saying that in them you finished at
top eight in this tournament that I think deserves an exemption,
and all the guys that are gonna be in Orlando
were there, so and yeah, Elite eight whatever. I don't
know what necessarily, if how it ended up trickling down
to Elite eight, But to make that, I mean you
gotta think, why is there nothing that goes to Orlando
funnels from that tournament. Well, I think you did a

(16:56):
great job. Thank you. I hope you're not disappointed with
yourself to make top eight overall and you've never played
a tournament like that before camera's on. You have some
work to do, obviously. I don't think you show up
in another tournament and do a lot better. I think,
though you can see, you're in a spot where you
can get better and win this thing. Yeah, and I
know it looks stupid. I mean some of the video shots, like,
we look ridiculous, all our arms just going in the air,

(17:18):
a bunch of grown men. Everybody's four. Yeah, it's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
That's okay.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
But the skill involved in the precision you wouldn't really
know at home. But every guy has these little things
they do. Some guys stand on their tippy toes. The
taller guys go double handed. You have the ambidextrious guys,
which might be the future of the game. But that
wasn't even the hardest part for me. The hardest part
was being in Vegas for two days, next to a pool,

(17:42):
next to casinos, not drinking, not gambling. That was freaking hard.
You gamble one time, I mean, if if fifty dollars.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Yeah, that's still gambling.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
I'm still gambling.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Okay, so then yes I did. But fifty dollars from
my life. I mean in Vegas last about five minutes.
We're proud of you, Thank you, screw. Would you go
to our concert?

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Yeah? I went to a last night. I went to
see Kalleo at the Pinnacle.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
I saw your Instagram stories.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
How was it? Kalleo? Dude, he's really good live. He's
like an alternative like rack Ish type band. I've liked
the music for a while and never seen him live
in concert, very rarely, like a great voice, phenomenal live.
He's from Iceland, Yes, Iceland. Yeah, I don't know. If
you know of his music way down we go it
would be his biggest radio hit.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yeah, I know, I mean I know him. That's why
I knew is from Iceland.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Okay, yeah, yeah, very time.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
I didn't just pull that out of the old.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
I don't know if you like prepped it or research
yourself where you talked about it.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
No, I didn't even know what show you went to.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Okay, it was good. Yeah. Yeah, So that sounds like
you're like Kalo. I think if he ever comes town again,
you should definitely go see him.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
How were you out?

Speaker 3 (18:48):
My brother was in town, so I was in We
we got to a point about like ten o'clock where
I was like, dude, I got to get up early
tomorrow morning, and he's like, yeah, I'm pretty tired too.
I have a early flight. So we left around ten
to fifteen.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Still late, But that's cool for your brothers in town.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
You kind of kind of suck it up. Yeah. Yeah,
I've been the rules a little bit. Yeah, when your
family back yet, No, I go pick them up this
coming weekend, so I cannot.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Are you sure they're for I?

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Am I still married?

Speaker 2 (19:14):
So you are flying to California at the end of
this week?

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Yes, So on Friday afternoon, I fly out to San
Francisco pick them up, and then we fly back Saturday night.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
So I have a question about the pick up, Like,
why do you go to pick them up to fly
back with them together?

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Can you imagine flying with three kids underneath the age
of eight. Yeah, it's a lot. And so as you
just helped, I'm there to help. Yeah, it's whatever she wants.
It wasn't like it was my idea. She's like, hey,
I need the help to do all this carrying nine
bags of luggage and car seats and stuff. I'm not
making her do that by herself. Got it?

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Did you buy the flights a long time ago?

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Yeah? No, because originally they were coming back at the
end of the fourth of July vacation, so they were
coming then. So when I found out like a couple
weeks into June, she switched her flights to the July date,
which just next weekend.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Seems expensive.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
We have a lot of points, oh yeah, a lot
of points. And then we have the credit card, the
Southwest credit cards, so anytime we buy gas or whatever,
we use that, so we have a lot of points
from that as well.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
And then why did I send you on my points.

Speaker 6 (20:11):
Out in Vegas that you offered and he didn't argue, Yeah,
I drained the whole account forany's knuckle aheads.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
It's been like five grand in points to get you
guys out there.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
I'm back. We're very grateful though it was it was
a good trip.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
You can watch Raymundo on our YouTube page at Bobby
Bone Show. Are you were you happy your brother was
here so you had somebody?

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Yeah, because it's been kind of depressing the last few
weeks of just coming home by myself and having nobody there,
and even sometimes my dog wouldn't be there because I
would leave the met the dog whatever sitter because I
was traveling so much. So being home alone, I haven't
been that way since two thousand and eleven, twenty ten,
so it's been a while just being by myself.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
What are you doing at home by yourself?

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Man, I'm doing like mostly here. I'm here to about
eight pm every night working and then I go home
and then I just I eat like a late dinner,
and I watch some Curby Enthusiasm and I pass out.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
Do you ever play the music really loud because you
don't have family there?

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Oh? Hell yeah, I thought he's really loud. The TV
is super loud. It doesn't really matter no one's there.
I do that too. As soon as they leave, I'm
like blare out crank. Can I have a speaker Like
I have one of those houses from the late nineties.
I have speakers all throughout the house, and so I
turn on the radio like old school and just listen
to the radio. Can you mention your Yeah, because it
starts tonight? Really yeah? What is it?

Speaker 8 (21:28):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Scuba? Just got put on in San Francisco?

Speaker 1 (21:31):
What?

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Yeah? That's awesome.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Yeah, so you're kind of doing a market visit.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Yeah, I guess, but I'm there only there for like
twelve hours. I won't see anybody. But yeah, just got
put on San Francisco. That's amazing Scuba. Yeah. I start
nights tonight on Classic Hits one of three point seven
eight to midnight. That's really cool. Yeah, it's really cool. Dude.
It's like that's market number six. That's a huge market.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Yeah, it's super cool.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Oh well you never know dropping Like I encourage everybody,
Chase Chase. I'm not gonna hold anybody back from anything
that Eddie's first thought, it's too much, Eddie. Eddie has
a Morgan leaving theory.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
Well, it's not my theory. Some listeners are like hitting
me up on dms, like you guys, are messing with us.
They think that Morgan leaving the show means that she's
really right now off getting married and then she's gonna
come back with a new last name. So the Morgan
we know is leaving the show.

Speaker 7 (22:30):
Oh that's funny.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
We're not above that. That would be kind of funny.
No comment, No, it's not true.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
We're all quiet.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
No, it's not true. No, but I hope if Scuba
gets you know, a bunch of markets and it's like, hey,
this is the direction I want to go kick kick
him righting the butt and go, dude, you should go
do it, like chase what fulfills you.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Yeah, you've always been a big support of it ever
since that conversation we had a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
So I think everybody should chase what fulfills them. We'll
be fine talking to every one of you.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
We're looking at me.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
You should chase your dreams.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
We will be okay, we.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Will be fine. Fine. Uh, that theory about Morgan is
not true, but that is funny. Okay, everybody in I
guess we have Aby is the one person. Abby. Do
you have anything good to happen to you?

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Well?

Speaker 8 (23:28):
Yeah, this weekend I was driving on the highway and
almost got in a like five car pile up. It
was really really bad, but it did not happen, So
that's the good news.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Didn't happen at all?

Speaker 8 (23:38):
Correct, Okay, I I don't know how.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Wait so you say you almost gotten a five car
pile up. There's some real specificity there.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
Yeah, because they.

Speaker 8 (23:45):
Were like five cars in our little cluster that all
slammed on their brakes at the same time. And thank
you to my breaks, thank you to the person behind
me that like swerved over to the right. I don't
know how we didn't hit each other. I'm still like
wondering how that happened. It was amazing.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Can you still picture it?

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (24:05):
Yes, because I think if I got out and looked
at how close I was to the car in front
of me, it was probably like a half an inch.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Can you still hear it?

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Was there a lot of screeching?

Speaker 8 (24:14):
Yeah, they're a screeching. That's why I was like, there's
no way my car is not going to just keep
sliding into them. But it did not hit.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
So the good news is, yeah, nothing happened.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Correct.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Well, wow, all right, there you go, all right, good
job everybody that is what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
It's time for the good news, Bobby.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Last weekend, a dog was rescued and reunited with its
owner after a fell sixty five foot off a cliff
and spent four days stranded. Once it fell on a legen, Kentucky,
the dog's owner called a rescue team. Rescuers once they
found the dog, used a high angle rope system to
reach the dog, secure it bring it safely back to

(24:56):
the top of the cliff. The volunteer rescue team pray
the dedication of all its members who volunteered to go.
And I mean they roped up and went down and
saved the dog. What I like about this There are
a lot of resources that go into this save capture
of the dog, and they spend them and they raise
money and then they go save animals because that ain't cheap.

(25:18):
I'm watching them. That ain't cheap. And they save the
dog and the dog lived after falling sixty five feet.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Yeah, that's what I was.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Do you see the cat that lived? The person threw
it out of a car.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
Oh my gosh, No, a person threw it out.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Punch him on in the face, like find them, punch
throw them out of a car. They threw a cat
out of a car and the cat because you know,
cats flip and land on their feet. Yeah, they were
going in a normal speed, just trying to get rid
of a cat, and the cat landed on its feet
and ended up living. So this is people suck. But
also the animal lived. Just reminded me, who throws an
animal from their car? But the cat lived? Is that

(25:51):
to tell me something good?

Speaker 4 (25:52):
Yeah, I'm sure someone's going to take care of the
cat now and a better home.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Kitten rescued after being thrown from a moving vehicle in Maryland, and.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
I'm thinking that the only way you throw a kitten
out of a car is if it wasn't yours and
you didn't know it was in there.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
No, it's if you just want to get rid of it.
They were like what they would do crazy stuff like
that all the time, like try to give it animals crazy?

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Yeah, awful people.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
It lived and hopefully now someone will adopt it.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
That's it. Now.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
That kind of makes me feel sad, But it lived, right, Yes, Yeah,
rescue was cool. All right, there you go. That's what
it's all about.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
It's time for the good news munchbox.

Speaker 7 (26:29):
Back in the nineteen fifties, Brian Murray decided I'm gonna
try water skiing, got up that first time, was like,
I love this, started doing competitions and he's been doing
it for years. Well now he's ninety five years old
and he went water skiing, and now he's the world
record holder for the oldest person to water ski.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
I saw the video of him water skiing. I thought
it was ai Joe Biden water skiing. Oh really, that's
funny because that's what he looks like, Joe Biden water skiing.
So I thought it was somebody doing a funny video.
Ninety five walking is awesome. He gets up pretty quick.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
There was a time in the nineties when I was
water skiing, and then it just wasn't cool anymore. Water
skiing turned into you had to know how to slalom
because you didn't go two skis anymore because we lived
near lakes. Then you had to go one. And then
it quickly turned into wakeboarding and wake skating, and I
started doing that as well.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
But what about knee boarding. I did that as a kid.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
I mean you didn't really have to get up.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Yeah, not as cool fun, but not cool because he
didn't have to get up.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
There was no I couldn't get up on the skis,
so you could.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
If you're athletic enough, you can get up.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
No, when I'm telling you, when I was a kid,
my grandpa was like, give.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Her the kneeboard, a kid, give it.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
Everybody else was getting up, and then there's like, wow,
I was on the knee board.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
I think you could get up. Now. I think it
would take you fifteen times. Because it's not that you're
not athletic enough just getting up on a wakeboard or
wake skate or skis. It's about understanding what muscles to use.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Okay, So I didn't know what to activate.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
And you don't know until you start to do it
and you go. It's like riding a bike because until
you do it and you fall and you oh, I
got it out because it's it's hard. I tricked people
once I went. A bunch of people were going, uh.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Wait.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Surfing. And this is like five years ago, and so
my wife and I were with some friends who had
a boat and they're like, you don't want to wake surf.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
I was like, nah, I don't.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
My wife didn't even know. I knew how to wake surf,
and so everybody's trying to get up and falling because
that's what you do. First time, I was shocked.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
I was up.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
I'd been doing it. I'd already been doing it for years,
like I'd known how to do it, and they're like, oh,
he's a natural, and I was like, wow, this is crazy. Wow.
It's like when I juggle.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
That's the word, like, I've never juggled.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
I'm like, wait, how does this go? And then all
of a sudden, I'm doing multiple and you're like whoa, yeah, yeah, yeah, congratulations,
ninety five years old still skiing. That is cool. That
is what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
That was telling me something good.
