Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for the good news. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
So on Friday, whenever we finished the show, went over
and did a Bobby cast. We do a weekend episode
that's kind of current events and we bring in somebody
kind of interesting, and we brought in Britney Kellogg.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
We did not know that she was on the cruise.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Oh I worked on the car.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
I know, she told us.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
So I didn't know her for her music.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I knew her for these insanely viral videos where she
pulls the trash can down.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
And I'm talking about not just viral.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Every single one of them doesn't get one hundred thousand views,
it gets sixty seventy eighty ninety thousand likes. They are
so freaking popular. I only saw her from that, and
then as I went through a page, I saw she
also played music. So I said to Mike, hey, let's
seef she wants to come up. She seems super funny,
and so we get up on Friday to do this

(00:53):
episode and she's in the like the waiting room of
the studio that we have so whatever, she comes over, Hey,
what part of tal do you lave? And she goes,
I live in Arizona. Wait what she goes, yeah, I
live in Arizona. I said, no, you just flew here.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
I did.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
We just asked you, like a week ago. She I
booked a flight and came immediately. And so she came,
and then Eddie keeps going, I know her from somewhere.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
The name sounded so familiar.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
The trash videos they're massive.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Every Tuesday she takes the trash and he's.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Like, I don't know, and so she goes, you know,
I was on the cruise with you guys, So what
she goes, Yeah, Amy interviewed me what so well, To.

Speaker 6 (01:31):
Be fair, there was a lot of things going on
on the cruise at any mean.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I never met her and left.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
We were in a totally different She even.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Said she came to the Raging Idiot show.

Speaker 7 (01:41):
She did well, but that's a packed theater.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Yeah, but the whole thing was wild.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
That one she just got on a flight and flew
here because she was like, I'm not going to miss
this opportunity.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
And then too that she was.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
On our cruise last year and she played shows for
seven days, met you and like all that happened. But
I knew her from how viral her trash video was
not even her music, and her music is actually good.
All that happened and it's been really cool to see
because people love her, and so I posted videos with

(02:14):
her on my Instagram just being like, hey, it's great,
Like I don't know, I feel like I'm missing out
on something here. It's one of those rare times where
I'm going, man, I had no idea. So mine is
that that was a really cool a couple hours that
she was over and learned her story.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
And so I'm curious about the videos, which if y'all
address it, I can go listen.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
But you're just go listen hit us back tomorrow, Okay,
now go ahead.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Her.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
So the videos, yes, they're so good her, her her
insults are clever and funny. So I assume she has
it all scripted out, kind of ready.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
To go, and then she spends time like finding it
and then writing it.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
But she's not reading us.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
I think that she just kind of memorizes it, right, Yeah, yeah,
but she does write it.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
She does write it before handing kind of how she has.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
To go through their pages.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Cool.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Obviously a lot of it's pre.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
Meditated, because yeah, she'll have screenshots of them, or she'd
be like, well, I went to your page to check
stuff out, and you know, if they're insulting her whatever,
and they're like, oh, funny thing, like you're in your bio,
it's I love Jesus.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Oh well, what would Jesus.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Let look at these other things that you've done that
Jesus may not like.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Right one with someone insulting her because her eyes were
spread too far apart and she was.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Like, it's like your.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
Body and she's like, I didn't know you were an
expert in chromosomes because they said she looked like a man.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Yeah. Anyway, it was.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
It was good and fun and refreshing and bad and
I had no idea. And just to hear her talk
about that her shows are starting to sell out now
because she's touring and it's she's playing huge arenas or anything,
but she's playing shows and that they're starting to sell
out and her merch is selling and all because of
those trash videos.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
That's cool.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Yeah, it's well, just something that resonates and clicks that
gets people to see her other talent.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, that's what I said.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
And afterwards, I said, hey, you're gonna start to be
resentful of these trash videos. I said it on camera
to I said, you're gonna be resentful these trash videos.
Don't be because even if ninety three percent of people
don't know your music, seven percent of people are finding
your music through these trash videos.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Because you're gonna.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Start to get so popular from these videos that you're
gonna go this is not really what I'm doing. It's
not what my whole life's about. And now people know
me for this. I don't really want to be known
for this. This is fun, but I don't want to
be known for this that happens, and I just do
not let that happen, Like fight that voice inside of
you that goes I should stop doing trash videos because
my main ard is music. Like double down on the
freaking trash videos because more people will find your music

(04:38):
from the trash videos. So it is really great. If
you want to go check it out, you can. It's
on the Bobby Cast. It'll go up today on the
BBS feed, yes, or you can watch it on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
So yeah, that's what's up.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Is really cool, refreshing, even for me who sits and
talks to everybody all the time.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
She was very nice.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
So that was it, and that I just felt bad.
She flew all the way here. I wanted to like
reinburse her for her flight.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
You're like, stay longer.

Speaker 6 (05:05):
I saw you post the clip of her talking about
how when she got Mike D's message, she was at
an airport going through security and that she started to
tear up and like just told the person working at TSA,
I just got invited to be on Bobby phones, and
so for her, it's just probably I.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Just feel bad. I don't know. I just felt bad
that she bought that. You guys know how expensive flights are. Now.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Bobby kept asking her to so what else are you
doing here?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yes, please say this is not just about this, because
I just never feel like it's worth that for somebody
to do. But she was like, I promise you so, yeah,
that's an insecurity of mine that comes right.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
But I was going to tell you if that is
the only, if that's important enough for her, you should
receive that.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
I try.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Wow, I try. I try.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
She has an eighteen year old son that's autistic, and
he can identify every single airplane that flies over by
the sound of.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
It, which is crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yeah, crazy, yep, Yeah, I can mostly tell you every.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Single actor in a ninety sitcom.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
That's really good. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
It's about mine. Yeah, not near as cool as the
airplane one. So that's my tell me something good, Amy,
what's up with you?

Speaker 6 (06:20):
So a couple of weeks ago, I started to increase
my protein and started lifting.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
I told you I ordered those.

Speaker 7 (06:28):
Dumbbells that you can adjust.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Yeah, so you can go from a five pound to
fifty pounds, which these things are so cool and all
the more that I use them because in between each exercise,
I kind of got to go over and adjust my dumbell.
But I've been tracking my h the weight that I'm using.
And of course, when you're first starting out and you
haven't done that kind of lifting in a while, I
don't know what my fifty percent of my heaviest is

(06:54):
or my head. You know, I'm just trying to figure
it out. But I think I finally have it figured out.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
And this week I.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
Can see like the first like I've made progress and
I'm moving up. So I'm proud of myself.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
Like my chest chest.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Press like this, like a bench press.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
I think, yeah, I went up a lot, so I
could tell. Like when I first started out, I was
being a little timid. I didn't want to get like
stuck because I'm just at my house by myself and
I don't want to get stuck.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
But but there, it's not a bar.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I know it's dumb milf.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
So you could yeah, just so you know, you can
know you have to jump over like you just did.
You can just let them go oh behind your head,
don't do amy did it dump over to the side.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Well, I was there an.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Individual bar them separately. You will kill yourself doing the
way you just did.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Well.

Speaker 6 (07:36):
A struggle that I am having though, is because I
yesterday was like the heaviest I had done with that
to get down on the ground because I don't have
a bench yet.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
I think I need to invest in a bench. I
was just doing it on the floor. But I'm on
the floor and I've got them on the floor and.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Then but I need to like get them and then
lay down and so I get on it.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Can I give you a tip? Sure, I'll take them
on your knees.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
You're on the ground, put on your knees, lift your
knees and put them here because you'll hurt your shoulders
or your wrists like doing what you're doing yeah, because
it's a weird body position to try to lift your
weights up from just on the ground with your arms very.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
Like how you're looking. That's what and that's what made
me a little nervous. The last time I lifted any
kind of heavy weights or anything, I was working with
the trainer, and this was before COVID. So I do
feel like I'm having to I don't want to hurt
myself and I'm having to learn, so I'll take any.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
A bench would be good. There's something called floor press though,
that even I do. So what you're doing is actually
a lyft. But when you when you lay down, like
pull your nee, put your knees down on your legs,
and then lift your knees and put them here, gotcha,
And then you won't hurt your shoulders by trying it,
because yeah, that's a weird all right.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
Well, my next investment, my first investment was the dumbbells.
And now that I'm actually using them and I'm seeing growth,
I'm like, good for you.

Speaker 7 (08:50):
I'm going to keep doing it. So I guess my
next treat will be.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Like are these.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Not a treat?

Speaker 3 (09:00):
The trade is after you're done, though, and you feel
good about it.

Speaker 7 (09:02):
Yeah, well I well, for me, I like seeing.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
The the growth and the progress. And then now I'm like,
maybe one day I will be able to make it
to the twenty five push ups.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
For sure, you will. You're already so close.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
And that was before I was even.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
You're gonna nail it, but you can. You're gonna need
to do push ups by themselves, not just that specific
weight or or movement.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
True, Yeah, that's good.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
And with the weights.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
Yeah, speaking of protein, Eddie, I have been I've been
trying to log at least that, not really much of
anything else, but just tracking my protein intake. And I've
been pretty diligent and meeting my goal every single day,
which is more difficult than you.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
Yeah, it starts to feel uncomfortable, so where.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
You're just like really, but I hear it will make
such a difference.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
What's the goal you bodybuild in, Like, what's the what
are we trying to do?

Speaker 6 (09:50):
No? At eighty when I fall over, I don't want
to go be stuck in a nursing home hospital.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
I think it's a good goal.

Speaker 6 (09:59):
This is for a long like I'm not, I really don't.
It's not a vanity thing. It's not a it's just
I mean, sure, if there's benefits that come with it
that are like that, okay, great, But I just want
to be strong and take care of myself because I've
been doing pilates, which this weekend I hit one hundred classes,
which was really cool. But that's just not cutting it enough,

(10:20):
Like I need to start lifting more significant.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
We were going to go do hot yoga last week
and my wife got such crazy food poisoning.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
Oh is that what happened with that?

Speaker 6 (10:29):
I mean, I knew she was sick, but I was
wondering what was going on with the yoga that was it.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
That's when I was like gotta go, guys, because she
had the baby and was just like I can't.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
I can't even sit up and so.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
And I was like, thank god, I'm not doing that today.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
You're telling me something good.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
Okay, So for me, football season has officially started Saturday.
My eleven year old is now playing tackle football and
they had their first what do they call it a
jamboree or something?

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Jamboree much teams go and each other like for quarters
a quarter at a time.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Yes, it's like a scrimmage. I guess they all play
offensive snaps like twenty in a row, and then they
switch sides and they do twenty in a row. It's
just so much fun. The weather was great, it was
early in the morning. All the parents were excited wearing
their school clothes, you know, like with a team, and
then there maybe there'd be a good tackle in the
whole stadium would be like yeah, and these are eleven

(11:24):
year olds, and I just I don't know, man, I
get so excited because football, like Cowboys and all that
is just right around the corner. And this is just
the start of it.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
So this leads you into the Cowboys.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Oh yeah, yeah, I got it. Yeah, Like the feeling
of just watching kids play football is now like exciting
me because I know that the Cowboys are gonna start
playing on Sundays in like three weeks, four weeks whatever
it is. Dude, I cannot wait.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
I'm glad your son can get you excited about the Cowboys.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
Yeah yeah, I mean it's.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Not the whole season of your son learning.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah right that, it's more here's the well, Dak do
it this year.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
I don't think that he's gonna last. Like, he's excited
to play football, and I think every kid is. He
was like, all right, tackle football. My friends are doing it.
Let's see how it goes. When the everything was over
and we were in the car, I asked him, like,
how did it go. He's like, that's a lot harder
than I thought. He's like, I can't run as fast
as I thought I could run. It's hard to catch
the ball and pads. I can't see through the face mask.

(12:25):
I don't know how that's gonna go. So I don't
know if he's gonna last. We'll see.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Are you gonna make him last though the season?

Speaker 5 (12:31):
Okay? Got it? Yeah? Yeah, yeah. I hope he'll play
the rest of the year. But I just don't know
if he's gonna love football that much to play next year.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Lunchbox.

Speaker 8 (12:39):
Oh yeah. We had to tear down a tree in
our backyard because it was old and falling down, you know,
ice storm, and so my kids want to do a garden.
So we put some bricks up and I was like,
this is never gonna last. We planted some cucumbers, bell peppers,
and I was like, we're never gonna do anything. Well,
this weekend we actually got cucumbers. We went out there
and there were huge cucumbers in the garden. We do

(13:00):
nothing to maintain it. We've just had a lot of rain,
so we got lucky and they were so excited that
we picked cucumbers out of our own garden. I've never
done that in my life.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
Did you eat them? No? No, yet, they're just in
the fridge.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Big.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Oh they're huge. I mean I'm talking this big like
bo that's.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
A huge chee.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Hey, he's been told, Amy, that's he's been I don't.

Speaker 8 (13:24):
Know what you're dealing with, Amy, but you must be dealing.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
With Hey, he's been told. That's huge, and let him.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Let him go with it.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
You got a little family green down there.

Speaker 8 (13:34):
I mean, it's all nature. We didn't nothing to you
planted the seeds right, yes, but we haven't watered it once,
like literally just we've had so much rain.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Funny, oh, okay, rain, we haven't watered it once. You're right,
there's been a lot of rain.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
That's good. All right, good job everybody, everybody, good weekend.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Good, good, all right, good, it's time for the good news.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Ten years a girl in Virginia hero rescued a three
year old from a campground pool. Vivian Taylor spotted the
toddler in the water, wasn't moving, jumped in, grabs her,
pulls her out, They get her, get her to the
hospital real quick. She's now fully recovered, been released. But
she saw it and just jumped into action. She wasn't

(14:22):
trained to do that. But we do have a lifeguard
here as part of our show coming to you special thoughts.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
No, I think that's great. Did I ever tell you
guys about the when I was like two and my
cousin found me in the pool.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
So you're you're no longer the lifeguard in the story.
You're the one that's saved in this story.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
I was the victim.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
I was like face down in the pool and my
cousin saw me. He jumped in the water, saved me.
And then he said I was laughing, like giggling, like
halfing the time of my life.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Was there any chance that you just got in the water.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
I might have just gotten in there, but they had
no idea, Like they just saw me head face down.
Oh wow, floating in the water.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Pretty fortunate then, Yeah, But as.

Speaker 5 (15:02):
A lifeguard, I mean, that is this person right here,
this girl.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Yeah yeah, ten year old Vian Taylor.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
Ten year old Vivian Taylor, she has a future in
life guarding.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
You think so.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
She already has the god given instincts.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
And you've lived it, and now you're looking out for
the next generation.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
I mean, I kind of just I noticed it when
I hear it.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
What about your kids, do they like genetically? Do they
are they pulled to be in lifeguards?

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (15:22):
One of them already has expressed interest in being a
life guard.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
I think that's just natural, ingrained.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
I think it just kind of fell down the gene pool.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
That's from w HSB Vivian Taylor. You are a hero.
That's what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
It's time for the good news lunchbox.

Speaker 8 (15:42):
A West Georgia couple was on a road trip on
Interstate twenty win boom.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Tire blew out.

Speaker 8 (15:49):
They had to pull over the side of the road,
get the spear out, and they get their jack. Jack's
not working. Something's wrong with it. Won't lift the car
high enough. Well, luckily all these cars are whizen by. Right, man,
we're stranded. Here comes the angel. Rodney pulls up in
his truck.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Rodney the Angel never heard an angel named Rodney, and.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
He says, you guys need some help.

Speaker 8 (16:11):
He pulls out the tools from his truck, jacks up
the car, changes the tire, and they said, here, let
us give you some money, and Rodney said, nope. In
my spare time, I drive around these roads looking for
people stranded, so I can help him out. That's my calling.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
And then they turned around and he was seeing He's gone,
His car was gone. He was gone, and they were like,
was anyone even here?

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Rodney the road angel?

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Oh ye had alliteration, it works otherwise, not really the
angel name I choose as if I were an angel.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Good for all Rodney.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Rodney is the name of a good guy? Though, Oh yeah,
like that's that's That's the name of a good Gary.
It's a good guy named I don't know a bad Rodney.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
How many Rodney Rodney Atkins does.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Rod count can? Okay, debatable he's good or bad? But yeah,
we know Rodney feels like a good name.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Gary love Ox No, just.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Like guys I grew upround Mountain Pine. Just Gary's. Then
you get the names like Sean. You can't really trust her, Yeah,
Sean's Rodney Dangerfield. Hey, I get no respect, no respect,
get no respect? All right, good story, that is what
it's all about that, was telling me something good
