Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for the good news.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Tell me to go to Amy So, my co host
for Feeling Things podcast Cat, she's pregnant and she's having
her baby in September, so we've been really trying to
dial it in so she can have time off. But
we've got episodes, and she sent me a spreadsheet. This
is what I love about someone else being way more

(00:26):
organized than me, And it has every single episode in
every recording and everything that we need to do ahead
of time, and it's highlighted. It's all mapped out, like
I can just show you, like Bobby, see the little
spreadsheet here and getting a little Google doc. I guess
it's our whole schedule, and it feels so good to
like look at it. And also a few years ago,

(00:49):
it was never even a calendar person and now I
am and Kat and I both have ADHD. So the
tell me something good here is like look at us.
She handled this part. I went in and did my
part with some of like how we're gonna have some
content days where we build some videos and different things.
And so I'm just proud of our teamwork and it

(01:09):
feels good two ADHD co hosts together like we have
it all mapped out and it feels so good like
it's gonna be a lot. But then when she's on
maternity leave, like I'll kind of have a little bit
of maternity leave myself from that side. I mean, I'll
have to be doing socials on feeling things and whatnot.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
But or I need to pick up a new project.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah. You saying your own attorney leave is like me
saying I gained pregnancy weight. It just feels weird.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I know, I know that that's really going to be
it's her time.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
What I'm saying is kidding because I said I gained
pregnancy weight, and that's okay, right, we tell jokes.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I think, yeah, Really, what it's gonna feel like is like, yeah,
we've been recording twice a week every week leading up
to it, and then I'm gonna have no extra recordings
other than all the recordings we do here, so like
we love.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
It, sressed rest, Yeah, I'll love it, or catch up
on things that you need to catch up on stuff
back at even.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Like finally put a finishing touches on my keynote.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I'm being whimsy.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Oh yeah, yes, cool, So that is tell me something good,
like I got I opened up my email this morning
and got the everything we've planned out in a nice
little document and I was like, this feels good.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Love it.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Eddie my son, my eleven year old. He's playing football
for the first time, so he's really small, like he's
not big at all. So after a couple of practices,
the coach pulled them aside and said, hey, man, we're
gonna to beef you up, like you need you need
to start eating a lot more. Uh, you need to
start doing push ups every day, so minimum fifty push

(02:43):
ups a day. So he comes home he's like, dad,
coach says, I need to do fifty push ups a day.
I'm like, well, let's do it. I'll do him with you.
So it started with me and him and we've we've
been at it for like three days now, me and him,
we do fifty push ups. Then I was like, hey,
why don't we just throw squats in there, because dad's
you know, trying to boost us to stop own. So
let's do fifty squats a day. So he does fifty

(03:03):
with me, and then we do some ab workout. We
do fifty of those, and now the three other kids
they have joined, so that's cool.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
For the last three days.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
All my kids were all there in the living room
doing a workout fifty squats, fifty push ups, fifty ad workouts.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
So do you do fifty push ups consecutive?

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yeah, but we got to take a break.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Well that's twenty said yeah. I know he was lying,
but he wasn't.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Well, it's like we take a five second break, like
it's it's not like we'll do twenty five. Chill for
a little bit, and then we'll.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I bet you don't do twenty five straight. I do not.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Oh I can do twenty five straight. No, yes, I can.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
You can on your knees.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
No, Ay, that is so rude.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
No, not on my well, you know usually, like when
I watched those twenty five.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Twenty five will be hard, but I did twenty the
other day, twenty five.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
I know.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I'm not I'm not not believing you. I'm just saying,
there's no When Eddie said he does twenty five and
takes a break, there's no way he does twenty five
normal push ups without breaking before twenty five.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
I could probably do a twenty five.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Twenty five is hard, very hard.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, it's hard, but I can do it.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
And I'm offended that Eddie immediately said, at least you
didn't do this Bobby like you you maybe have some doubt.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Fine, valid, Eddie goes on your knees.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Well, because when I watched those P ninety X workouts,
the guy's always like, look at Susan, like she's doing
on her knees. That's okay, and she's usually a girl.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Susan usually is a girl.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Susan's the girl.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
So I just.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Assumed maybe you were doing on your knees.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Because Susan on.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
This is a real workout.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Okay, but that's cool.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Though your kids are joining.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I like that. Yeah, you really turn sexist in the
middle of it. But other than that, yeah, okay, lunch box.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Oh yeah, my oldest. They are my all three kids
that swim team this summer, and my oldest he was
awarded Most Improved Swimmer. Now that the season over, he
got a little certificate says most improved Swimmer. So hey,
at least we got some award, not MVP, but we're
working towards it.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Those most improved awards that are what making somebody really
good later because they're not relying on just their athletic
ability early and what happens whenever you can rely on
just pure athletic ability early, you tend not to work
that harder get a lot better because you're so much
faster than everybody in those sixth man awards, those try
hard awards are what ends up making the best players,
maybe not for like Scuba Steve NBA type, but for

(05:21):
like high school level, because you do invest a lot
of time in getting better. So I'd rather have that
at that age than most dominant.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
Yeah, And I think you know, he had never, i
mean really swam before, Like he just kind of was
would jump around in a pool, and so I think
it's pretty his bar was low starting and then over
the summer he's gotten so much better.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
So you shoot to them. With Eddie and his kids,
they're doing one hundred push ups non stop.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Yeah, man, fifty.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
They pretty impressive.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yeah, So mine is kind of about push ups really
oddly A F two. Yeah. So I do push up
pretty much every day as a part about well, if
I work out three to four times a week, I'll
do push ups within my workout. And my right shoulder
has been really tight for the last few months. And
my wife has this ball. It's not a tennis ball,
but it's the shape, but it has all of these
formations on it, and I was just digging my shoulder

(06:09):
in to see if it would untighten my shoulder, and
it did and it helps so much, which is great.
And I was able to work out with that having
full mobility because sometimes it hurts. And that's the good news.
The bad news is I feel like I got in
a freaking fist fight and they just punched me in
the shoulder all day yesterday, like it is so sore,
but it was great, so I kind of rolled it
out with the little ball. Yeah. The other thing is

(06:29):
I had a Bobby Cast YouTube page, and then when
the Bobbycast went to Netflix, we weren't able to really
post the Bobby Casts on YouTube anymore. It's kind of
the deal. Can't post them, got to send them a Netflix,
which is great, and that deal has been fantastic. But
we didn't have that many followers on that page, like
eighteen thousand, So like four months ago, we were going,
all right, let's try to build the subscribers up on
this YouTube page. And YouTube is the hardest to get

(06:51):
subscribers on and so our goal before the end of
the year was one hundred thousand. We had a hundred
thousand this past weekend after four months. Oh okay, crazy,
I know mostly I do that in the Weed Show,
but yeah, I hit one hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube
on that page. The Bobby Bone Show account has significantly
more than that. But we just started with this one
like four months ago. And so I get a trophy,

(07:12):
one of those trophies that says one hundred thousand YouTube.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
One of the YouTube plac Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
That's cool.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Yeah, get one of those plaques. Pretty excited about that.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
That's fine.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Next up mister Beast. Oh coming after him, watch out,
coming after him. But we have dedicated a lot of
time and energy into building that Bobby Bone's channel on YouTube,
and at some point I'll probably get the Bobby cast
back years down the road and it'll go right back
and it'll go boom right back into place. So we're
just trying to keep it. We worked hard, and it's

(07:42):
really cool to see all that work payoff. So that's
my second one. So there you go. There's no way
you can do twenty five straight. Yeah, yeah, I do
it real push ups right now. No, I don't want
you to do it right now. Okay, what we're gonna
do now, Amy and I played this celeb on the
head game, and so we're gonna play this for you
now and then on the backside we have something to

(08:04):
say as well. So enjoy this celeb on the head.
It's time for the good news.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Ay, So, the longest resident dog at a shelter finally
got adopted. This dog had been there for seven years
and nobody wanted him. It takes him a long time
to trust people. So the new owner visited him at
the shelter twice a week for seven months before finally

(08:31):
bringing him home. Is that way they could build a relationship.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Isn't that really sweet?

Speaker 1 (08:36):
It is? And I love that it was a no
kill shelter because they don't last that long otherwise. Seven years. Yeah, great,
one good story. That is what it's all about. It's
time for the good newsready.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Lonnie is nine years old, lives in Colorado, and he
was walking outside his family's house and they have swimming pool.
Looks in there. What does he see his little sister
on the bottom of the pool. He goes, oh my gosh.
He jumps in, grabs his little sister, pulls her out.
Turns out she was down there for it least twenty seconds.
But then the cause of parents, parents call nine one

(09:15):
one because of his quick actions, his sister was saved.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Wow, very lucky, very lucky that he saw her that quickly,
like twenty seconds, Yes, because another minute, minute and a
half have been so black of oxygen. Yeah, so bad. Ah. Yeah,
that's a scary one.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
It's scary. And then the police department, he get they
gave Lonnie an award? Is a life saving award that
they give out to people for saving lives?

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Was that award?

Speaker 4 (09:40):
They just called it the life saving award?

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Plack paper not sure. In the city he did every
public pool. Great story, that is what it's all about.
That was telling me something good.
