Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for the good news.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Tell me something good, Amy, So my daughter has found
her first apartment.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Wow, I know, Oh my good.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And yeah, I was just texting with her.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Dad, me through the emotions.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Excited, a little nervous, but overall happy for her. I mean,
she's done the research, has been looking for the last
few weeks, so it's not out of nowhere. And her
and her dad had gone to tour a few that
he was putting his stamp of approval on, and then

(00:42):
it was when I was on the trip that they
were finalizing, and so I was looking online. But then
last night the paperwork came through and then filled out
the guaranteer, like one of us had to be, you know,
a co sign or something so that she could do that. Wow,
I know. And so but she's she's got she's working

(01:03):
enough hours per week now that she can pay for
most of the apartment. And then her dad and I
are going to help out with little things. We've committed to. Hey,
this is what will help support you while you start
taking some college classes. And I know I had told
you all about her Esthetician school and that's still on
the table, but we're just punting it a little bit,

(01:27):
which is good for her to have some consistency with
work and taking a few basic classes because then once
she starts that, she'll be dialed in because that's like
eight hours a day, four days a week, so her
work will have to back down. So she's kind of
excited to work for several months and crazy, I know,
I'm just very excited. So now I'm like, oh, I

(01:49):
got to up my game on Facebook, Marketplace or go
like little things that she might need, like a like
a couch and a chair and a coffee table.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Dang.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Okay, I know, I don't know if I want to
do this. I don't want to steal your thunder. Okay,
Billy just bought a house.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
And she's going to pay for she paid cash for program. Yeah,
I didn't want to do that, toy.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Wow, that's really cool, I know, even saying it to
y'all right now, like I just have a big smile
on my face because I can't even believe it. And
she's going to live there herself. She thought about roommates,
but a lot of her friends are leaving, some of
them that are staying here for school or staying with
at home for like the first year and she really
wanted to put in the work to to figure this

(02:38):
out and do it, and I'm I'm I'm proud of her.
And she was looking at roomies dot com or something.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Well, I thought you were just saying roomies. No, it's
weird in terminologies.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
No, I think there's an.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
App called Brady's. And I'm just really glad we figured
out a place where she can afford on her I
don't know. It made me nervous, even though I did luck.
I believe it's our sophomore year. I did pot luck
and didn't know well at least one of our roommates
because we had a four bedroom and it was just
some random person and it did not work out well.

(03:11):
And I just don't want her to have to go
through that, although it's a good learning experience just roomies.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I had a good roommate that I didn't know, still
keep in touch with, really good guy, really nerdy guy.
So for him and I to get together was great
because neither one of us were in college partiers, so
it made it easy.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
So I got very fortunate with that. But then you
had one that moved out right, wasn't an accident.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
That's my best friend Evan from high school, and he
was like, dude, I can't do this anymore with you.
And I was like, what do you mean me, You're
moving back to to me? He goes, yeah, you go
to sleep it as soon as you get home from work,
and then I can't be allowed. And then you have
to go to work in the morning. And sometimes I
like to have parties and like to do stuff, and
in the afternoon it's just a whole thing.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
And I get it.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
It's tough, but I wasn't dirty or loud. I just
had to go to a very small one to go
to sleep because I had a full time job and
I was working in college. And I would complain and
be like, did you make a noise? I have to
sleep trying to do that college life, and he was
and I just came. It hurt my feeling. He's really bad.
I just came home and he was gone up to
my dorm room. There was nothing in the room. I

(04:15):
didn't even get a heads up. He just moved out.
We didn't talk for a few years. My feelings were
really hurt. That being said, we definitely even talk now.
I talked to him a few weeks ago. He's a principal.
He's a great guy. Like his dad was instrumental in
my life because I did not have a dad for

(04:36):
a long part of my life until Arkansas. Keith came
in when I was a teenager and his dad, they
took me on my first ever vacation. I went in
a van with Evan, his mom and his dad and
we drove to Colorado. We went to Estes Park, which
I only remembered that place because of that.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
They bought me a shirt. I remember it vividly.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
It meant so much to me because I didn't have
I did have money to go much less buy a
shirt they bought me an Estes Park makes me emotional
just thinking about that. And there was the first vacation
I ever went on, and it's maybe the only one
ever went on until like I could afford it later
in life. But yeah, he was my best, best friend.
And then he moved out that hurt. I just remember

(05:15):
coming back and being confused, like I can't believe they
just robbed Evan's stuff and not mine.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
That's what it.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Felt like, like there was a burglar here and they
just took all of his stuff. And then it turns
out he moved and then way later he said I
just couldn't take it anymore.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
And I was like, take it.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
I didn't do anything. He said, yeah, yeah, yeah he did.
You're kind of hard to live with because everything had
to be quiet. I get it now, But great guy.
I should talk to him about that someday, you know what.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Call him up, but principlie. Right now, it's the principal.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
But I'm gonna leave him a voice memo.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Sum a good call.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
I still work, though, that's not it though, I'm telling
you yesterday I got confused. I was talking to scoops
if about a guest that we may have on the
show that's twelve, and I said, hey, I don't know
what time you can get him on the show because
he's twelve, and was like, it's summer, idiot, I.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Said, and I'm kids in school. I forget one.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Second, let me talk to let me leave this. Hey man,
sending you a voice memo. Hope you're good. I was
talking about in college when we lived together in the
dorm our freshman year and I just came back and
you had completely moved out. And I thought our dorm
got robbed, but only your stuff, But you moved out,
and I was telling the show how difficult I was

(06:25):
to live with because I was like, it has to
be quiet.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
I have to sleep, I have to.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
So I was also talking about your dad and how
you guys were a big part of like my childhood
and actually going first vacation everyone on Estes Park, et cetera.
I was doing all that, but I was talking about
the dorm room thing. I didn't know if you would,
uh come on and talk with us about that, like
how difficult was I or how difficult were you? If not,
no big deal, but was talking about it this. I'm

(06:53):
actually recording this, me doing this voice memo to you.
So if you get this and you're around, let me know.
If not, catch up with you soon. All right, bye, buddy. Yeah,
we're definitely good now. We talked recently. He's checked when
when Billy was born. He was like, what's up? How
is he has twin? Twin boys?

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Wow? Oh?

Speaker 2 (07:11):
And dad?

Speaker 3 (07:13):
They're yeah, and they're like teenagers now, and they're so different.
They're twins and they are so different.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
It's like Ray and his brother.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
They look the same but just completely different personalities, which
is crazy.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I mean, that's that's wild. I know Amy, I can't
believe that that she's getting an apartment. I know, do
you want to buy a couple of chairs?

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Do you have chairs for so?

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (07:35):
Where you don't want those for her?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
At my studio?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I don't see what they look like.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Yeah, they're awesome chairs. I literally I got they're just
too big for the room.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
We're building another studio in m and so we were
gonna sell them on Facebook Marketplace. But I don't I've
never done that, and I didn't know if I should
prepare it when I do that, to be assaulted, Like
I didn't know.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Do I train?

Speaker 3 (07:59):
I train because I know I'm going to ge assaulted
rob whenever I meet up at the person.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah, but I can't have them take a picture and
send them in.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah, let me see a pick.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
I'll give you a bottom of the bear.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
They are very expensive chairs, but I'll give you bottom
of the barrel discount.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
If you want.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Well, yeah, i'll see. I got to get the dimensions
and then pick out. I was looking on Facebook Marketplace
for like a couch, but I just gotta, yeah, figure
out what we have room forage.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
So this is the first apartment they got to have
cheap furniture.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Facebook Marketplace, that that's the internet's garage.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
I'm just saying, like, let's not go like Bobby is
trying to sell you expensive.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Chairs bottom bottom bottom of the barrel, maybe even free.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
What give me?

Speaker 5 (08:41):
I'll tell them for free. I don't even care what
they look like. Sign me up. You want to give
them to me, I will take them.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, she may not want them, but they're.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Oh, I'm sure they're awesome chairs. I was just trying
to think through like.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
When the Orange ones, Yeah, we use them for a
long time on set, and I'm sorry ahead.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Well, I was just thinking whenever my mom and my
roommates Juliana, her mom, when they would come up to
College Station and like take us, you know, to the
grocery store, take us to Target, and even get us
like a swift or sweeper like we just were. They
would help us clean our apartment and then put it together.
How good that felt. And I just want to even

(09:27):
though she's having a different college experience than I did,
like I want her to have that. I want her
to have some of those similar feelings that I had,
like oh cool, like we would go and get you know,
it's simple stuff, but just like dishwasher, soap, like they
would take us and help us stock up on things
in it, and then they would come back and deep

(09:47):
clean our apartment with us, and it just felt really good.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
That's like, that's so cool. Does she want workout equipment?
Like a workout set like that? Which one would be
talking about? One that you would win in a game?

Speaker 5 (10:00):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (10:00):
What is a regional price? I don't know, let's ask
the seller.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
One thousand bucks.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Come on, dude, it's her first apartment.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
Hey, I'm gonna I don't give a crown?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Oh oh oh, she probably could use a desktop computer
with a.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Webcam built in. Yes, when it comes sho does she
wear three?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yes, she has mofy.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
So choose when when I'm going to send you these
pictures because we did some test shots in the studio
that we built.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Uh, I'll just were they at your house? Ones? Because
I think I know which ones they are. They were
and you're in the studio.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
And on the home the home.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Yeah, let's send him anyway anyway, if she wants them,
we can definitely make it.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Do you know what's amazing is, if you think about it,
Amy is letting her daughter get an apartment and Eddie
won't let his eighteen year old stay at home for
a weekend by himself. It's just crazy how the two
different worlds we are at.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Okay, if if I can be fair for you before
you probably I don't know, get yourself in anymore some
more trouble in trouble, yeah, could you say stuff sometimes?

Speaker 6 (10:57):
And I'm like, Eddie, that's not no, no, no, my son's
in high school. Fair, he hasn't graduated yet.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
You're right, when's you graduating period next year?

Speaker 5 (11:03):
No? No, but he stay at home for a weekend.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
I also agree, but we're not the parents, okay.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
But also lunchbucks. Yeah, if my daughter was still my
daughter was a rising senior in high school, she wouldn't
be getting an apartment. I can agree with that, and
then I don't think.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
We've Also it is crazy that he doesn't let his
kids stay home for the weekend. But also he's in
high school, so no apartment.

Speaker 6 (11:24):
Yeah yeah, I mean that. But the whole weekend thing
is like I guess I could. This is this is
where you gets yourself in trouble.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
I don't, you know, like dirties and stuff.

Speaker 6 (11:32):
I know what I would do if I was alone
for the weekend at that age, and I just, you know,
want to avoid all that.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Do you guys see the TikTok of that guy who
went home a day early the dad and he got
home and didn't tell us Kad was coming home and
he's like, he records it and it's a massive party
at his house.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Exactly have you seen that? It was very viral. It's
really funny. No need to pull it up.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
But what's so stupid is when we were kids, we
thought like our parents would never notice, like a lamp
was broken.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Oh yeah, no, I had like one time we use
my dad's stairs as like a game to like slide down,
and my friend Peter went into the drywall. It made
such a hole, and I remember I got I was like, oh,
here's a big cactus plant and I said it in
front of the spot, and like my teenage brain.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Thought, hey, put a poster over it.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
That'll be fine. And then my dad comes home and
I mean, but he was the kind he knew I
was having people over. But the fact that I thought
I could just put a cactus in front of the
drywall hole, yeah, and that but that's like, see, that's
where I worry about our brains aren't fully Oh Like
at the time, I should have just been like, Dad,
I'm sorry, what can I do to help fix the drywall?
But instead, for like twenty four hours, I tried to

(12:49):
hide it.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
It's like the liquor bottles. You don't drink all of
it because it can't be gone, and you fill it
back with water.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Like you're not going to know. It's like, how stupid
were we?

Speaker 6 (12:56):
Of course they knew I would drink my dad's beer
and like be like, he won't miss three cans of beer.
Like if one of my boys drank one of my
beers in the friend I'd be like, where's that third beer?

Speaker 1 (13:07):
You guys are talking about aliens right now? Why get there?
I never had those experiences.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Oh, I meant like with.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Yeah, the other side of it. You guys might be.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
On the other side of it, but you're right, Yeah
you didn't Like you don't.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
No, no, don't feel sorry for me. I'm just saying,
you know, sometimes I go about different dimensions and aliens,
and I know you guys check out because you don't.
You're just like either not interested or you get like
lost a bit.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yeah, you're like never threw a party.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
No, never, d I didn't have alcohol. You never drank
your dad's beer. Peter was never over, No, Peter.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
I mean your parents never came home a day early.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Peter.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
I was just happy my parents came home.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
Oh no, because what I mean. I mean like one
time we were having a party at forest house because
his parents, his younger brother had a soccer tournament out
of town and they were really good, and so he's like, dude,
Saturday night party at my house. Well, problem is, they
had a bad tournament, got eliminated, and this was back
and forth cell phones. They just showed up at the
house and we're and they were like, we're gonna circle
the block. You got five minutes to get everybody out

(14:03):
of here. You're like, whoa, yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Well I just would have never even if that were me,
I just would have never wanted to have it at
my house because I wouldn't have wanted to deal with
broken things or cleaning out aside from getting caught.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
I just would never have wanted that. But when you're
trying to get your friends together, like we filt mounta
Pine was full of fid He could do that.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
It was just like if anyone's parents went out of town.
It was just like did ding, Like, guys, we have
a place to party.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Yeah, I don't relate, so I'm sure. Yeah, lunch walk,
tell me some.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
Good Yeah, tell me something good, man. Let me tell you.
I went on a vacation and I've gotten a nap
two days in a row and I'm talking so, I mean,
I was exhausted. I can't believe how tired I was.
But I'm getting older. But three hour nap yesterday was
absolutely perfect because I feel good today, like I finally
feel like I'm back.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
I feel real good today. I feel real good.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
Real good, like you know you get home from working.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yes, I look real good today. Yeah, what is that?
That's real good? And then it's mother mo. Yeah that's good.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
Yeah, So it just feels good. I feel like I
have energy today, like I'm good.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Love a good redemption story man.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Yeah, I fought through it because you know, you think
you're gonna I don't need a nap.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
I'm gonna stay up and about this. This is rudy parts.
What would you call it naps?

Speaker 3 (15:18):
I'd call it. I'm not gonna watch it.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Ah. Yeah, it's a good, good title. I never find it. Morgan.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
So we booked our honeymoon.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
Oh, we don't know.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Well, I don't know everything so secretive.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
I don't even it's not secretive.

Speaker 7 (15:41):
You guys know when the party is like, that's that's
where you're going to be invited.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
My wife asked me, She's like, oh, so when are
they getting married. I'm like, I don't know. Where are
they getting married? I don't know. She won't tell us.
I was like, I don't know. I haven't met him.

Speaker 7 (15:54):
Well, you guys haven't been around to meet him, so
I don't know. Guys, like the party you know about
that you're invited to.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
I'm sorry about the honeymoon.

Speaker 7 (16:04):
I'm getting married in Artah.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
No, uh, that honeymoon is going to be in Africa.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
That is awesome. That is something that I've always wanted
to do. I just didn't want to be that dehydrated
when I landed hot no flying, but you flew to
like Australia.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Dehydrated is crab. It's why I don't want to do
it now that it's even longer. How far that?

Speaker 4 (16:30):
Uh, it's like a full day of flying.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Did you buy the want to get away on Southwest or.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Did you do just go for a little bit.

Speaker 7 (16:37):
Yeah, we have to fly I think out of Atlanta
because it's a direct flight from there to get.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
Where we're going.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Where are you going in Africa?

Speaker 7 (16:43):
We're going to go to Cape Town first, which is
South Africa, and then we're going to head to Victoria Falls,
which is Zimbabwe.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
And then we're going to go to Kruger National Park.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
That is amazing. That'd be a trip I would love
to do.

Speaker 7 (16:57):
I'm really excited. This is like the dream trip I've
always wanted to go on. I've always wanted to do
a safari and so and.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
You're gonna you're gonna kill an animal? Yes, as far
as you get guns. Yeah, I'm talking about.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
You may see an animal animal, I know. Are you
gonna take your dog and your cat like you did
on your last vacation because that looked ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
No, No, they can't come to Africa, not that far.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
So my other question is have you seen the hotel
where the drafts come up to the windows?

Speaker 6 (17:24):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Is that anywhere you're going?

Speaker 6 (17:27):
No?

Speaker 2 (17:28):
And honestly I had to hold it up.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
You can find I want you guys to see this.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Oh, I want to live there, so cool, but I mean,
I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (17:36):
It's really cool, but I like, after all the research
I've done, you have to be really careful about which
ones are ethical and which ones aren't, and what you're
supporting and what you're not. There's it's so convoluted down
there now. So I don't know that that one was
quite as ethical, and that's why we didn't go that route.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
The one that I saw was very ethical, okay, because
I never looked if it wasn't.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
Like the giraffes were doing it on their own will
the drafts chose chose to look through the window.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Yeah, look at this, it's called the draft manner. Is
this the one you saw?

Speaker 4 (18:10):
We looked at this one.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah, five staryways they're eating their breakfast, it says draft
man or hotels one of the most unforgettable places to
stay in the world. And look how ethical it is.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
That says that, why is that on ethical? Well people
look ethical to me.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Well, like the whole point of going on so far
as to see animals in.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
The wild, But isn't it in the wild? Is that
hotel in the wild?

Speaker 7 (18:28):
So from what I've learned, not all of them are
technically in the wild summer within certain reserves in certain areas,
and when they're at places like this.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
I don't know if it's even more.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Had the drop down of stay accommodation activities draft manner retreat.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Oh, it says life at giraff maner, I thought it
said live there.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Eique giraffes tried that one. Sorry, it's down one up
up right there.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
It's probably gonna soil. You can't ride them.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Don't bang a giraffe, oh man, before you stay there
are wild animals.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Well, they're saying that.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
It doesn't mean we're definitely gonna do a Google search too.
Is this place? Opthical etiquette at draft manner includes how
do you dress? How do you dress you? You're not? No,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
We're moving too fast, but that's okay. No loud noise
or sudden movements. Don't overcrowd them. No drones, of course,
because the first thing I'm doing when I get out
there bring them a drone. Uh do always for a
team member to show you what to do. Don't stand
on the side of the giraffes. What if they kick
our courses if you get behind it?

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Yeah? Is there anything else on there?

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Don't stroke or pet them.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Do ask before pulling out props when snapping selfies. We
appreciate the photo opportunities exciting, but I'm such a balloon's
ribbons are scary.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Lighting could scared the drafts.

Speaker 5 (19:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
I feeling pretty guys right now, let's see. I do
only feed one treat at a time. Do use photos
and videos for personal use only. All guests are allowed
to interact with diraffes, and don't monopolize time with them.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Oh there's a draft hog there.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Room three twelve. Won't let us plot the draft? Okay?
Would you just mind googling? Is draft manner ethical?

Speaker 1 (20:24):
This looks expensive?

Speaker 3 (20:26):
I'm sure it is. It's also gonna be expensive to
get there. The ethics of giraft manner and Nairobi, Kenya
are highly debated. While the property managed by the Safari
Collection is celebrated for its foundational role in saving the
endangered roth Child's giraffes from extinction and it's ongoing financial
support for local conservation, Some sustainable travel advocates argue debating

(20:49):
and habitating wild animals for stage torust interactions interferes with
natural behaviors.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
I feel pretty good.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
About that then, because their argument is this when they
use words like some advocates argue that's going researchers say, like,
what does that even mean? They argue they made him
win the argument. They could be wrong in the argument,
and it says they're saving the endangered species.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
We're going to go extinct with.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Eighty I'm in you know what, screw it group trip, Amy,
We're going gosh, okay, Amy, We're not going to Africa.
We can't even go to like the bowling alley right
down the road we came together. We can't even get
an hour to pins and whatever.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
I'll hold out hope and.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
We have to wait till Morgan gets back because we
can't crash.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
No, surprise them with a lunchbox. Surprise, surprise, you guys
did know you wouldn't.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
Yes, No on my honeymoon sees.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Riding a giraffe? What the heck?

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Oh my gosh? Look how cute?

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Can you? Mike?

Speaker 5 (21:54):
See how much of this stay there?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
I don't I doubt at full price, that's gotta.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Be most of the time you have to check with them.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Special offers.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Yeah, what would you guess? Five hundred night, six hundred night, No, idea,
no concept at all.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
You can probably google how much does it cost and
they'll give you an idea, except except for the website.

Speaker 7 (22:17):
So on the cheap end to do like safaris a
night per person is like three hundred to five hundred.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
How much to buy a draft or bring it home?
I bet that's okay.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Here we go eleven hundred eleven hundred per night per
adult sharing and eight oh five for children ages two
and eleven out, so it can exceed fifteen hundred bucks
per person depending on the season and room type.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
What I'm out?

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Hold on? I mean you have to pay per adult? Yes,
oh screw that place?

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Okay, but you don't know what all that?

Speaker 1 (22:48):
What if that includes the draft?

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Meet the draft?

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Nobody's going here on a budget, So you're going on angling.
They don't think you're going They don't care if you go.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
Okay, well I'm not right, tell them.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
What they care about is people that are going on
these long trips that are going all the way across
the world. But go this is our only trip ever
of our life to go to Africa. So if we
spend more money on a lifetime experience, we're into it.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yes, suck, yeah, and it includes food maybe.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
Yeah, if you take your two year old child that place,
you're an idiot.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Yeah, it's a waste. I would just lie and be
like one year and six months. He's just big. That's fun, Morgan.
But you're not going to draft.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
Manor No, I'm not going to draft man.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
You're not even going to Kenya, right.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
No, Kenya's not on our list.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
It's it's sounds utcha booty.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
How long are you going for?

Speaker 4 (23:34):
We're gonna be gone for I think nine days total.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
Oh do you go?

Speaker 1 (23:37):
That's all I'm not telling you. That's hard.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
It's hard, yeah, but we're making it work.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
I mean, like I said, this is like the dream
trip and the time to do it as a honeymoon.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
Can I tell you something?

Speaker 1 (23:46):
No, okay, I just all you get upset and let
your hand.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
I'm gonna tell how stupid Morgan is. Okay, I'm just
gonna tell you why. I'm not gonna tell you, Morgan,
when you don't come to work, we're gonna know.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Okay, that's when we know the you know, that's when
we by the way, I know, oh you know.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
We sat in the office and we talked about, Hey,
what's cool, what kind of what what what?

Speaker 1 (24:05):
What? What? What? Right? So once she going no, I
share it.

Speaker 5 (24:10):
That's hilarious.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
But if the joke was also on me and like
she just doesn't show up and I didn't even know,
that would be weird.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
So that's I'm jealous. That's a really exciting trip, So
you have to get all kinds of like that scene. Yeah,
you have shots, right.

Speaker 7 (24:25):
So there's only there's only one. Depending on the location
you go is really where it matters. And if you're
in more of the smaller communities is where you have
to get more. The only ones they're worried about where
we're going is malaria and yellow fever. But they're so
low concentration that we may not have to do anything.
It just depends on the timing of everything. But we
have a travel advisor who walks us through what's necessary

(24:45):
and what's not.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
All all that said, that's a really neat trip and
I'm excited for you because that would be somewhere I
would love to go to that part of the world
have never been. It's I just I don't want to
be dehydrated, man, And that's it. You just have to
drink so much water on that flight and then it
takes me a day to get my bearings at all,
and then about two days wherever I will want to

(25:09):
come home. And that's just a long flight background going
to dehydrated again.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
You know, I know they haven't warned me about any dehydrattion.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
No flying that long of a flight, any flight anywhere.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
It's not just flight Atlanta. I'm like, imagine flying there
first class.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
We haven't booked our international flights yet. They're not there yet.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
Okay, So a tip, Yeah, have money, good money saved up.
Somebody paying for this trip for you, like a parent
or something.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
Yeah, I have a lot of money saved.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Okay, a lot of them.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
You do.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
He does.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
Also, I'm talking about myself right now. Oh my gosh,
we both have money saved.

Speaker 5 (25:49):
She gave him a house, now she give a trip.
Like I mean, this is Morgan.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
You walk yourself into that. I know, I know what
you mean about me, right, I really just said, here,
here's the tea. All it's on a stand hit it.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
That being said, it's really expensive to fly first class internationally,
but if you can have it and not like break yourself,
it makes the next thir or four days so worth it.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Because you get a lay down bed.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
You can sleep on the flight and it's.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Way more extensive, but the fact that you have a
lay down bed makes the first half of the trip
so much more enjoyable because you're not so exhausted.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Well, if you have a travel agent too, they might
be able to help you figure out how to get
the business class type seats over there that are like
I follow these people online, like, how did people figure
this out? They're like with their credit card points, yes, yeah, okay,
I want to know about that sitting.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
I've never been able to do I know, but.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
It's doable, and they talk to us on social media,
like I feel like an idiot when I watch their
videos because they're like, I'm in this seat for fifty
four dollars because they use their credit card points.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Wisely, why are you believing it? It's social media.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Because they're like people. They're not just random people that
are doing it. They're like, this is what I'll do,
like I'll help you, like comment fly and also, my guy.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
We're also getting a little kickback from the company.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
It's not shady, no, no, no, Like I trust like
they want to help people understand the points. But I
just can't understand them.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Whenever I see people go into those full rooms and
lay in a bed. I've never even seen one of
those on an airplane.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Oh yeah, isn't that like I don't know, like Dubai.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. Guitar. I got a message
back from Evan.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Oh voice texts are written written.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
I got your message. I'm currently on a cruise with family.
I'd be happy to talk about our callers some together.
I think it's a good story that a lot of
people could relate to. It's definitely a situation I've reflected
on my entire life. In wish I would have done
it differently. I like the maturity to handle it correctly.
Back then, I'm not sure I can make a live
call from here without it costing me a million dollars.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
I'll be back in town. We talk next week. I
was like, yeah, oh wow.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
About it.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Because he left Bobby.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
We're friends now also, so that's we're not like reuniting.
It's not like Matt Jones just texted me from text
sports radios, buddy, let's do it, Let's go back.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Okay, isn't that something It's interesting, like you've reflected on it,
and then to know, wow, this is something like he's
actually thought about too.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
I know I have this list of people that have
beefs with.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
But I'm a lot more mature now than I used
to be because I reflect and think, oh, I it
was a lot because of me, because I used to
not think that, right.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
But I do have a list of people that I
have beefs with. Are you still at nine on that list?

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Well, I tell you I'm pretty sure. Hold on, we
find it people I'm beauting with. Okay, here we go one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Now I'm at ten because I haven't fully taken Matt
Jones offer.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Oh he's still on there.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
Okay, Yeah, so I need to text him congratulate him
on something.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
He's gonna come off soon. You feel it? Yeah, I
feel it? Okay, Eddie yours?

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:46):
So when we went out on our vacation, we rented
two cars. We stayed in two airbnbs, And it's so
stressful because we've been on a bad Airbnb list before
because of my kids, meaning like they flagged us, you
had a bad review, So the owners of the house
or whatever flagged us because I don't know, we've messed

(29:08):
up some sheets or something.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
I have no idea, but it's so stressful for me.

Speaker 6 (29:11):
Like when you rent a car even like it's like, oh, man,
are they gonna we left some sand on the floorboard,
Like is that gonna be okay? We got all our
emails back and they said that everything was great, no
extra charges.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
And dude, get this. When we left Puerto Rico.

Speaker 6 (29:26):
When we left that island, I asked them like, how
do I return my rental car? And they're like, oh,
just leave it in this parking spot by the bank
and just put the keys in the gas tank. And
I'm like, it's one of those remote keys, Like it's
there anyone, and you want to leave the door unlocked, Like, yeah,
leave the door unlocked. Somebody could totally steal it.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Did they play that song the whole time while you
were there?

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Which one got a San Juan? They no, But you
know that they really clap when the plane lands.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
That's a cultural Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:00):
Every the two times I've been to Puerto Rico, when
they land, the whole plane collapse, the whole the whole plane.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Yeah yeah, Oh I didn't know that, Yeah, got it.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
And then they go the whole plane.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Craps when land Is that an AI song? So yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
The guy said that he enters everything in like he went,
he has songs about everywhere, and who ended up going
to his page because he's got songs about everywhere he
visits and the like sex Boy Bill Rico one just popped.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
Yeah, it's catchy as crap.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Yeah, but the other ones. I was like, Oh, these
other ones are pretty good too, And I feel like
I'm learning about places.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
Yeah, and I'm sure like the country is grateful for it.
Like people like my kids were like, hey, we got
to find that Obama statue.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
All the words, I just know that the chorus there's
an Obama statue in the song.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
Yeah, they talk about the Obama statue.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
They talk about slot machines in the bus station and like,
my kids wanted to see all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Trip was a plus A plus dud. Did they have drafts?
No drafts? No, no, no no.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
My told me something good is going to be something
that I rarely come away from going. Man, I loved
it and I think people will love it. But and
I've been posting clips of it. The interview I did
with John Stamos is so fun. Uncle Jesse is so fun.
And I posted a clip last night We'll probably played
on the show tomorrow of him realizing how he knew me.

Speaker 6 (31:26):
I told you, I think you talked about it. And
then I saw the clip and I was like, oh,
I remember him talking about that, maybe though it was
on a sports show or something. Oh maybe, no, you
told us I did.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
What remind me?

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Okay, well because the reason I didn't know because Amy
was very confused when I was saying that.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
So on my season, oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Wal Pablo from Fulder House was on and in the
middle of he goes, oh my god, you're that jackass
to beat.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
Them from Dancing and the Stars.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
And then people in my comments are like, ooh, you
cursed jackass is a donkey m it is? Yeah, that's
not a bad word, and about the movie Jackass, and yeah, yeah,
so I didn't. And also I was doing interview where
I said something pissed me off. That's not a curse
word to me.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Also, I'm not.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
Living by some rules that other people have put in
place about me not cursing. I just don't do it
for me. So if I choose to say jackass or pissed,
I don't feel like those are bad words because also
I can say them on the air without getting fined.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
I don't curse. In my opinion, those are s f c.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Oh man, that's d even unless I'm driving by the
damn in Mountain Pine.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Oh that one.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
We have a mass. That's a bad word. That's a
bad word. Yeah, you can say that on the air,
but that's a bad word.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
Like if someone goes I'll be damn.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
I wouldn't say that. It's I don't judge. I like it.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Curse away doesn't bother me, but I just for discipline
reasons keep myself from doing it.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
So anyway, Oh, play voicemail five. I just watched the
podcast with John Stainos. It was awesome. I grew up
watching The Full House and I'll see your Instagram photos
of Billy and her hair is amazing.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I love the pick.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Thank you. Also John Stamos's hair is amazing. Yeah still yep.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
So you can go to Netflix and watch it. You
can go to the Bobby cast podcast feed. But I
think people will love it because he was so just
generous and fun and busted my balls. I busted his
and is great. So that's my tell me something good
for today. Okay, that's it. That's what it's all about.
It's time for the good news, Bobby.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
In this hospital in Miami, in the labor and delivery unit,
seventeen nurses there right now are all pregnant at the
same time.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Oh wow, whoa, that's really crazy.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
First I think it was a cult and like one
dude doing it at all. It's not.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
It's not academic.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Yeah, one dude that has like Jesus hair and beard
with a robe.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
That's like, oh, these are all my wives.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Not it at all.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
They say it's been a shared experience as from dealing
with the early pregnancy symptoms, just supporting each other through shifts.
Some are first time moms, some have other children hospitals.
The hospital here says they're prepared because they have nearly
two hundred nurses. There's a funny picture of all of
them together in like they're scrubs, blue pants, scrubs and
black T shirts holding their bellies and it really doesn't

(34:20):
say why.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
I think I think we know why. They were just
doing it. Yeah, around the same time.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Coincidence, and they're all age of baby making. And if
there are two hundred nurses seventeen, you know still a lot.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
But man, if they're on the same cycle and they're
all ovulating at the same time.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
Oh, is that is that how it happens? Well, it could,
it could be a factor.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
We can see.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Okay, so this is the uter I draw eddy of
a picture, Okay, like a longhorn. The hospital says its
previous record was eleven pregnant nurses at once seventeen.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Now, that is pretty wild at the Miami Valley Hospital
in Dayton, Ohio. That is from News Nation. Now that
is what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
It's time good news.

Speaker 6 (35:05):
Aaron Phelps is from California and when he was born
he was given ten percent chance of living because he
had spinal muscular atrophy. So the final odds, man, he
is eighteen years old now, he went through some experimental
treatment at the from the University of Stanford, and he's good. Like,
he's good, and he graduated from high school last month.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Ten percent chance. That would be pretty tough to hear
as a parent, like it's impossible. Well, no, ten percent,
it's very improbable.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
That's it improbable. I mean, gosh, I mean and just
like to keep on going. And then you know, high
school graduation is emotional but like when you didn't expect
it for him to even like make it through childhood, amazing.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
That's crazy, great story. That is what it's all about.
That was telling me something good.
