Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time for the good news.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Some of the good news for me is I actually
feel a little better today. I had a rough night
last night where it was one of those nights where
you call and a little bit I think I've been
affected by Lunchbox saying he had COVID, but I was
feeling really bad. So I called and got cod COVID
test into my house. Oh yeah, good, you know you
can get COVID tests and flu tests now on the
(00:24):
same Yes. Yes, I got a COVID and a COVID
flew and I was feeling bad, and so I took
him negative. And now I fell asleep at like six
thirty or so, and then I woke up at eight
thirty and it was then you're just up, And that
part sucks. But I don't have COVID and I don't
have the flu, and I'm actually feeling better today. I
(00:45):
don't know what it is, but I had a wall
so hard on both Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon shows
where I can't even think straight, and then it just
all kind of manifested itself. Ah, those two days and
two last night. When I'm back, I don't have much
else except Scoob Steeve hit me this morning with Scooby back.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yeah, man, I'm here.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, Scooby me this morning with an email and they said, hey,
I'm the cruise. Next year they're going to have a
basketball court and a pickleball court.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Oh cool, that's cool.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
And I said that's cool, like we got it. And
then he said, do you want to host something? I said, no,
I want to play in something. I do want to
host crap. I want to play in a tournament and
it won't be like a full basketball tournament. I wouldn't
want to do that, but a pickleball tournament I didn't
want to play in. And then I just want to
play play basketball. I just want to like play knockout
or something. My dream. I've always wanted a bunker. You
(01:38):
know what. Else?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
I want a gym, like a real gym.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
A basketball gym. Ye'd like half court or full court,
because it doesn't really matter some people.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
I wouldn't use a full court. Ye I wouldn't, but.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
But you don't know. You might have a bunch of kids,
and like I would, we would totally use a full court.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
You would use it. But I don't need a full
court because we wouldn't use it ninety nine percent of
the time. We used to have a full court basketball
court in our backyard and fence. We never use full
court ever, so for the most part, you only use half.
If there was a gym for sale and I bought
a gym and it was full court, I wouldn't go like, nah,
I don't want it. But if I had limited space,
(02:17):
I'd build a half cour gym. That'd be awesome. I
think that's what I want. A gym, and then a
bunker and an airplane. Okay, but I think in order
of me buying them at probably a gym and then
a bunker. The reason we don't do a bunker now
is because I don't have to take the walls, like
the gates down our house the rock.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
So why would you have to take the gates down.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Because you have to get machinery back there.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
We have to take the whole wall down, some of it.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Maybe we did with the pickleball court. They had to
take two thirds of it down on one side and
they had to rebuild the whole thing because they got
to constantly bring equipment back and forth.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
So, well, how bad do you want the bunker?
Speaker 5 (02:56):
I know?
Speaker 2 (02:57):
And then they're back there, and the dogs can't go
in the backyard because I'm preparing myself for the apocalypse.
But the fact that on the cruise next year there's
going to be a basketball court in a pickleball court.
You're for sure about that, right, yes? They yes, I'm sure.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Why did you stop?
Speaker 6 (03:15):
Well, because I've been told a lot of things last time,
and a lot of things didn't happen, So I tried
lightly on anything, but to be positive. I know for
sure that there's a basketball court. The pick a ball thing.
I've never seen a pickleball court and a cruise ship.
I could be wrong.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I never seen elevators on a boat until that's true.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
That's true.
Speaker 6 (03:30):
Yeah, the basketball thing I'm confident about. They said pick
a ball, but I want to see it for myself.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
If there's a basketball court, man play some knockout. I'm good.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
I don't need to play.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
I don't need to play full court. Just play knockout
and get some cardio in.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
And knockout or some horse or something like that horse.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Pig, pig pig. So yeah, that's mine. I don't have
a lot because I went to bed pretty early last
night and then I was miserably up. We Oh, we
started the Wire.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Oh okay, how was it?
Speaker 2 (03:56):
We watched first ten minutes and I was like, I
don't feel good, so we turned it off. Oh, I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Elbow was in it from way back in the day.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
We have the shows way back in the day. I
think it's current him on.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
No, but it's like way back before we knew how
awesome he was.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I think, yeah, it's way skinny and young, so you
don't even I didn't even realize it was him at first.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
It's sort of like watching George Clothing on ER. You're like,
you're like, look at if you start old episodes of VR,
You're like, what this guy ended up being huge?
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Do I feel like I knew George Clooney from ER?
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I know what I'm saying is if you go back
to the first episode.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, I don't like saying. I'm just not I'm just
not down with it.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
Hey, maybe you're not feeling well.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Maybe I'm feeling pretty good today though. But we started
the Wire, I guess. I told my wife ten minutes.
I know, I was like, I hate that I got
to cut this off, but I got to cut it
all right, So that's mine.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
You I got to check in the mail from Holiday Harmony.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Oh yeah, the gift that keeps on giving it is.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
It is the Christmas movie I was in a few
years ago. And this check must be for the holiday
streams because sometimes my checks are forty bucks. Oh, this
is more, maybe even less. Sometimes there's seventy five. This
one was triple digits.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Three. No, you held out three on your hand.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
Triple digits, triple digits. It was one hundred and like fifties.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Oh, it's pretty good.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Three dollars and eighty four cents.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Why did you hold up a three on your hand?
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Triple digit?
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (05:27):
I know, three three, number three three.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
It was just weird you hold up the number three
and then go triple one.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
One digit would be if it was nine dollars or less.
Two digits would be if it was ten dollars to
ninety nine dollars and triple digits.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
We understand the lot trible would be.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
One hundred to yeah, ninety nine. Yeah, So I that
was a That was a fun mailbox surprise. You never
know when they're going to come.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
So is that how like Tom Hanks gets his money box.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I'm gonna imagine that it goes to probably his business manager,
and he goes right into his account either one of
the two drug deposit or to the business manager.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Mine's a physical check. Pretty sure, it says like Warner Brothers.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
That's awesome.
Speaker 7 (06:14):
You okay, this is kind of cool. So my in
laws left a couple of days ago. I dropped him
off at the airport and my mother in law calls
me and says, uh, yeah, your father in law lost
his phone at the airport, like he didn't know where
it is. He might have left it at seat, don't know. Well,
(06:35):
I was like, just keep calling it, you know, maybe
somebody will answer it. Well, they kept calling it and
some man answered, oh wow. Some man answered and goes, uh, yeah,
I found this phone.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Yeah, by the by the terminal. Uh is it?
Speaker 7 (06:48):
Years like yes, They're like, it's my phone. Can you
please turn it into whatever airline they were flying and
they said yeah, we'll do that, and then the airline
they confirmed with it they had it.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
So yesterday my wife the airport picked up the phone.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Nice, that's crazy. Someone had it and answered it. Yeah,
that's cool, good one.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yeah, it's pretty cool.
Speaker 7 (07:08):
And she went to the I guess the baggage claim,
you know, buy the baggage claim. There's the every airline
has like a little office, and the lady had her
right there in the desk where it's kind of where
I went to go pick up my guitar. So man,
we've been there twice in forty one year.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
I didn't officially start a new podcast, by the way,
I let people think I have do you know about this?
Speaker 4 (07:26):
And do not?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
So I did like on YouTube, I did like a
baby of the Union, a baby State of the Union,
and I was just like, Okay, I'm getting a lot
of questions. Let me do baby State of the Union
because it's all I was getting in Instagram, dms, and
I'm happy about it. I was happy about it. Wasn't
like angry. I was like, no, I'm happy to do it,
(07:48):
and it's just so many questions all the time. I said, well,
what if I did like sporadically, just a YouTube video
ten fifteen minutes of me talking about whatever it is
where the people want to know. And then I was
debating on names, and I had two names in mind.
I was either going to call it because I like
to brand everything, you know me, I want to brand everything.
I was either going to call it talk Daddy to me,
(08:10):
m hm, or father knows Less instead of father knows Best?
Speaker 4 (08:16):
So what did you settle on?
Speaker 2 (08:18):
You tell me.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
My gott was saying talk Daddy to me, but then
it's a little dirty, I know. So I feel like
ended up going with father knows.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Less and talk Daddy to Me itself is not dirty,
but yes, and I think as a name it sticks
out the most. But I didn't want to always be like, hey,
I did episode talk Daddy to me.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
And so because Daddy is like, I know, it's taking
the place to we're dirty. But then even daddy is dirty.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
That's what I said.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Every dude that I've talked about that too, they're like, oh,
you gotta go with talk Daddy to me, and I'm like,
that's exactly why I didn't. And also Father Knows Less
is a playoff an old television show called Father Knows Best.
And also that's a saying too. But so I did
an episode of that by myself, just put it on YouTube.
I ended up putting up on the Bobby cast feed,
(09:14):
but it was like twenty five minutes, nothing long. And
then I did one with Laura and Lena because she
was overshooting some content for the celebrity head game. So
I put another episode up on my Bobby Bone channel
YouTube and then but it's called Father Knows Less. It's
been pretty good.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
I don't know anything, right, it's the name.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
You're just learning, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
I mean I don't know. I know nothing.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Yeah, yeah, you're figuring it out. You don't know nothing,
but no, I know nothing. I know, Well, you're learning.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
There are so.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Many parent shamers that don't even know their parent shaming.
It's crazy. The amount of people that tell you're stupid
for what you just said and what you're doing, Like
they're bad people.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
Yeah, I think they're just life shamers.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
It's there's so many parent shamers in my DMS. I
can't believe you do that, can't like. You're just doing
what you're doing based on the circumstances around you and
the environment that you're in, and it's work, but doesn't
mean it would have been the greatest thing you could
have done. You could have choo shows in a different
thing and it could have been better, or you could
have done something else and it could have been worse.
But there are so many people that are so dead
set that the only way that they've done. It is
the right way to do it. It blows my mind
(10:18):
that the general culture of talking about things as a
parent is shame and people telling you how wrong you are.
There have been some nice things, but for the most
part it's been now, you're just so wrong. It's stupid
about this. The whole name of the show is about
me being stupid, like and I'm not purposefully saying stupid things.
I admit, I know nothing. Yes, it's kind of a
brutal environment. I see what people that do. Any sort
(10:39):
of parent content like this is not good for my
mental health. So anyway, it's up.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
That's what's up.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
Father knows less.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
You can't search it. It's just on my YouTube channel. Again,
it's not an official podcast because people were like, you're
doing another podcast. That's crazy. I'm like, nah, nah, this
is random one offs for sure. Uh, okay, tell me
something good, Morgan.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
I'm picking up a new hobby.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Like Amy who's learning French.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Yes see, it's a sport though, okay, and it combines
two things.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
It's called frisbee golf.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Heard of it familiar? Yeah it's not new.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
No, I know it's not new, but I've only played
it one time.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Before, and I was like, this is stupid.
Speaker 7 (11:21):
But now on the cruise you get frisbee golf on
the Curse Ocean left on the boat.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Yes, when did you start playing frisbee golf?
Speaker 5 (11:29):
I've picked it up this last week because there's a
place by my house that now offers it.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
And I was like, well, it's.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
Close by, I can bring my dog, and my boyfriend
or my fiance is really into it, so I was like,
why not try and figure this out. I'm not very
good at it, though, and I've realized why I get
frustrated starting new hobbies is because I like to be
good at things.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Yeah, that's the frustrating part about new hobbies.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
Oh my gosh, I was horrible.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Like my frisbee was everywhere.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
It was nowhere near where the little not net thing
or the chain net that it's supposed to go on.
I just thought I would be kind of good at it,
but no, I was horrible. So I don't know how
long it's gonna last.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Do you play in a park or on a golf course,
because they at some public golf courses they have those
like us on the sides of the holes.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
It's a park and they have a whole course set up,
so like different kind of areas to where you're supposed
to start. I didn't really start where you're supposed start
because I don't think my frisbee would have made it
all the way. I'm learning small baby steps, but.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
I tried playing from the red tees.
Speaker 7 (12:24):
Yeah, did you buy a whole set, like your drivers,
your irons and your putters and all that.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
Oh no, no really, my fiance has some of the
frisbee You have to have frisbees there. They're like these
little specific frisbees for it.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
So he has a few, so I'm trying with his
before I.
Speaker 7 (12:37):
Yeah, they have like a yeah, you're the driver, goes
long and straighter, that's the idea, and then your irons
or like even your putter's so heavy it doesn't really
go that far, so that's your close range.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
I saw people they had whole backpacks full of different frisbees.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, it's like a bag of clubs. Yeah, it's pretty
cool different. I see it on my TikTok sometimes it
comes up.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
And never played it even when we're in Austin. Austin
was kind of.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
A big I'm not a hater of it. I don't
think I've ever thrown a frisbee at it whatever it's called,
the net, the whole.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Yeah, I don't know what the whole.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
I'm not a hater. I just I've never played, and
it's if I'm going to go and spend a couple
hours out or rather they take the golf clubs.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Yeah, same, although I.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Haven't done that at all. You probably practice golf yesterday though, right,
getting ready for the Big iHeart tournament.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Yeah, I don't. I haven't been invited, so so.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
You're not practicing.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
So wait, you're not going to practice until you get invited,
but you're not going to get invited until you get better.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
I know. Well, then I got an email yesterday that
also I have to maybe film something. I don't know
what time the golf event is, but I have to
film something from CAP for CAP one Friday at like
two pm.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
You could I'm not playing golf, but you would be
back if i'd be back.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
So how early is it on Friday?
Speaker 8 (13:52):
Early?
Speaker 4 (13:52):
All right?
Speaker 2 (13:54):
So early? I got to get in Thursday night.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
Okay, I told you I had pants, That's right.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
That's what I said.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Up the ladder guys, So when I tell you they're
cute and they are so cute. They're plaid.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
They're cute plaid pants.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Yes, like an old school golfer paints to it.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
Yeah, they're really, really really cute.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Tell me something good, Ray move.
Speaker 9 (14:19):
No, yeah, you guys are talking about iHeart that May
second weekend and we just booked, so we are excited.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
We are going to Charleston that same weekend.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Oh you're not even that heart.
Speaker 9 (14:32):
No, I never got invited, so I said, Bayzer, let's
book something.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
So we're heading back to Charleston. Baby.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Oh.
Speaker 9 (14:38):
I love Charleston, I know, and especially this time of
the year it doesn't get too hot. All those restaurants,
King Street, the bars. What do you love about it?
I know you love the bars. What do you love
about it?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Me?
Speaker 4 (14:49):
I just went for the first time last April and
it's the only time I've ever been. But I mean
race said it restaurants. It was some of the best
food ever. I still I had a salad I still
think about and have tried to recreate at home, and
it's something I definitely was not going to order. And
then our server was like trust, people come from all
over the country to have this salad. It's like a
celery salad and it was so good. So like the food,
(15:12):
the walking around, the architecture, the people, the shopping, just
the vibe. I don't know. I was only there for
one weekend, but mostly we went around to different restaurants.
Not like I experienced nightlife there or anything like that,
but there's charm, there's character. It just felt good.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
It's raised go to.
Speaker 9 (15:31):
Yeah, it's because everybody there is a sixty thousand dollars millionaire.
You dress nicer, you walk around like you're rich. It's great,
but you mean it's people faking like they're rich. Correct, Okay,
how do you know they're actually not rich?
Speaker 2 (15:44):
They probably are, we're the only ones that aren't. But
it's awesome.
Speaker 9 (15:46):
It's that type of city where you can just throw
a sweatshirt over your shoulder, yes, and you have that
educated feel. You can just hold a book in your
hand and everybody's like, oh, he fits in like stuff
like that.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
You can sit on a roof top and you and
then you see the ocean and you're like you're yes,
and you are surrounded raised right, it's like a vibe
like I don't know how to explain it.
Speaker 7 (16:06):
Is this the way like they set it up for tourists,
because there's no way, like the locals all dress up
with sweaters and read books.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Right, It's like people they go back home and you're like, no, man,
everywhere in New York people are in the underwear and
dressed up. Is gounn be right? Like? And you look
at Spider Man's over there, It's like, it's crazy. Everybody
does that.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Yeah, have you you've gone.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Right, I've been a couple of times, but I've gone
normal Charleston. Play a show there, just go eat somewhere. No, don't.
I never do tourists Charleston.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
Yeah, we definitely did. And now I can't, of course
think of the names of the restaurants, but we you know,
made our reservations well in advance, and it I mean,
I just thought it was charming and delicious.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Hey, I want to do this, right, would you have
voicemail five? Since we're talking about traveling, I want to
help this person.
Speaker 8 (16:46):
I'm gonna leave a pause. My family and I are
on our way to Nashville, Tennessee, on a road trip.
My son is eleven, our daughter is thirteen, and we
were wondering what you all recommend we can do in Nashville. Tennessee.
As a family, we are longtime listeners and we love
(17:08):
the show Bright.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
I mean, we get a lot of questions. People are
like what do we do? And I think it just matters,
you know how old you are eleven and thirteen. Man,
I think going to the Opry is the best thing
that you can do because that represents kind of a
Nashville list because there's some old school music usually some
new school. It's also a massive tourist try like the
Opry's fantastic if you can go to that. And also
(17:33):
there's a place on Broadway. Now Broadway used to just
be bars and hockey talks. There's like this area of
Broadway now that's newer and there's even a freakin' apple
store there Fifth and broad Yeah, yeah, it's fifth Broadway
of a good restaurant. Like that's a fun place to
go to if you don't just want to get sucked
into all of you know the bars downtown if you're
if you're an adult, you gotta do the bar stuff,
not even get drunk, just to go in them and
(17:54):
like see what's up?
Speaker 4 (17:54):
But didn't Ray say that? Also under there now there's
the Nashville Yards where there is a pup putt or
a mini golf thing that's under Broadway.
Speaker 9 (18:03):
Yeah, it's under a Union station, So it's just a
couple of blocks from Fifth and broad.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Yeah, So I think that would be if you want
to experience because the kids can't go into a lot
of the places. But during the day walking up and
down Broadway it's cool. And then there's a Fifth and
Broad like where you talked about, where there's you know,
good food and shopping if you want to go in
and out. But then underneath I think it's called Nashville Yards,
there's the golf or putt putt.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
What would you tell people to do with a eleven
and thirteen year olds? That just that, okay?
Speaker 4 (18:33):
I mean anytime you can walk around, especially you're coming
now where the weather's great, like walking around seeing that stuff,
experiencing even walking by the bars, you hear the live music,
you can pop into some restaurants, get ice cream, walk around,
do the putt, and then I'm with you on that.
Taking them to a show at the Opry if they
want to go out there, that would be super cool.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
The Opry's not right next to downtown, It's twenty minutes away.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Don't be fooled. Most of my friends that come to
down to visit, they're like, wait, what same with the flub.
Speaker 7 (19:00):
They are like, oh, blue, We're going to the blue Bird.
It's kind of outside of town a little bit.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Yeah, not as far, but definitely not downtown and the Bluebird.
If you can get into the Bluebird, go to the Bluebird.
It's just almost impossible to get in because it's so
small and people line up. But if you can get
into the Bluebird, it doesn't matter who's playing, go to
the Bluebird.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
And if the weather's well, I guess the mini golf
and Nashville Yards is underground, but right down the street
from us we have put shack. Is that a chain?
It's put check now. Oh okay, So.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
It's still cool.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
It's really cool. We had my son's birthday there last
year and the kids loved it. I mean there was
adults there with their crew and then kids there with
their crew. So it's very entertaining for all ages.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
It's a good weather times. So if you're coming now,
like go to the park where the Parthenon is, because
Parthenon's interesting. It's an exact replica size and everything of
the Parthenon and like Greece.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
Although it is under construction, so oh it is.
Speaker 10 (19:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (19:53):
We went like a couple of days ago and they
were closed, but you can still see it.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
You couldn't get your parthenon.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
You can't get to it. It'll be quick visit you know,
you see it, you see it, and then the kids
will be like, cool, what's next? And then there's a
lot of pigeons.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
But there's a.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Big part too, yeah around, Yes, Okay, that's fun. Ray,
good job, have you got one?
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yes.
Speaker 10 (20:17):
The Nashville Half Marathon is coming up in two and
a half weeks, and I haven't really been training that
much because I haven't felt good. Yeah, but yesterday I
ran nine miles without stopping, so that felt good. The
weather was just so nice and I couldn't stop those endorphins.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Are you raising money again? Is this time to ask
for money?
Speaker 9 (20:36):
I am?
Speaker 4 (20:37):
Are you wanting to donate?
Speaker 7 (20:41):
No?
Speaker 8 (20:41):
I wasn't.
Speaker 10 (20:41):
I actually wasn't. I didn't want to put anybody on
the spot, but.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
I since he's not here, how much money do you want?
Speaker 10 (20:49):
Whatever you want to give?
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Have you met your goal?
Speaker 4 (20:52):
No?
Speaker 2 (20:52):
I haven't.
Speaker 10 (20:53):
A little ways off five thousand.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
What was it last year?
Speaker 10 (20:58):
I think it was five thousand, maybe three thousand.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
It was less. Yeah, I think I was a little ambitious.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
Well wait, so where are you in the about fifteen hundred? Okay?
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Do you alway see the people that do a go
fund me and then they hit their goal and they
raise it. I'm always a litt annoyed by them. This
is not Abby, But it's like I'm doing a go
fund me because, uh, out of needing a car fixed.
And then they hit their goal of twelve hundred and
they're like, oh, I just moved to three thousand.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Yeah, you don't even need it.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
That's that's annoying. Like set your goal and when you
get it, be like thank you everybody. Not I met
my goal. You know what, while you're at it, give
me more that I always feel. Don't do that, Abby,
I won't.
Speaker 10 (21:37):
I've seen that a lot.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Yeah, Abby, what's your what's your like? Where are you going?
Speaker 4 (21:40):
To?
Speaker 3 (21:40):
You going door to door? Like how are you getting money?
Speaker 10 (21:43):
Well, I've like texted my family and friends and I'm like,
if you want to, because I don't like to make
people be on the spot. And then I'm just posting
on Facebook and Instagram.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
So Abby, good luck.
Speaker 10 (21:55):
I can you know, send you a text.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
And it's two weeks away.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Two and a half. Yeah. I think a lot of
people hurt. She wasn't training, so they weren't donating. That's
the word on the streets. You hadn't put in the work.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
I put it in yesterday.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
All right, there you go. That's it. That's telling me
something good. That's what it's all about. Go ahead.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
That was telling me something good. It's time for the
good news.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Bobby, two year old has overcome stage four liver cancer
WOW two, following a transplant from his aunt Love that
diagnosed last March when doctors discovered a cancerous mass in
his liver. The boy, whose name is Crewe, underwent multiple
(22:38):
rounds of aggresive chemotherapy before receiving the transplant. Last summer,
when his aunt Taylor Darth was confirmed as a match.
How much of a relief is that that you are
a match because they can test everybody and nobody can
be a match Wow. After surgery, both Crewe and his
aunt Taylor are fine. Nine months later, he has completed
his treatment. His family marked the milestone by ringing the
(23:00):
Bravery bell at Cleveland's Clinics Children's Hospital and the mom
is just like, this is crazy because I don't think
I'm mom matched, which is wild.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
I know that would be you would think like as
a mom and you want to do anything to help
your son and you can't.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
That's crazy. Great story that's from Good Morning America. That
is what it's all about.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
That was tell me something good. It's time for the
good news.
Speaker 7 (23:28):
Ben O'Reilly is seven years old and he goes to
Campden Elementary in New Hampshire.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
But he's deaf, so it's hard.
Speaker 7 (23:34):
For him to make friends and nobody knows sign language
or anything except two students in his class were like, hey,
you know what, let's try to learn sign language so
we can talk to Ben a little bit. Well, one
student did it, more students did it, the teacher. Before
you know it, the whole school is now learning sign
language just so they can communicate with Ben and make
them feel comfortable at school.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
That's great that all those kids learn to do that. Ah,
great story, good one. That's what it's all about.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
That was telling me something good.
