Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for the good news. I quite enjoyed yesterday
where we went through all of Amy's day, the fine
tooth comb. Okay, well you can do. Let's do lunchbox today.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
All right? What did I do yesterday?
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Don't do I woke up? Don't all woke up?
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Well, why that's what she did?
Speaker 1 (00:20):
She did, and then I didn't because we all know
you woke up, and we all know you did the show.
You can say what time you left the show, that
type thing.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Okay, I left the show around noon, twelve thirty. I
picked up some lunch for my wife and myself had
some leftovers for the kids, so we ate lunch, and
then I did my routine of after work and after
eating lunch, you know, heading to the bathroom. How long,
(00:49):
you know, twenty twenty five minutes. Not terribly long, but
not terrible. But you're a squatty potty. Still still got
the squatty potty. It's the best thing that's ever happened
to the world.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
I'd say pill pockets, man, but I hear you.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
You know what's crazy about my new dog. He doesn't care.
You just put it in his bowl.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
And he eats it like I don't know even if
it doesn't, it's wild.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
You just put in there with his dog food and
he's like, oh, a treat, he eats it.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
He blind. No, okay, there you go.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
And the squatty potty, it like lifts your legs up.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, lifts your legs up, and it's the more natural
position that you're supposed to be sitting in, and it
makes the like it, it makes your body work better.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
What I do I hug my knees the whole time
I'm pooping. Oh good, I lift them all the way
up and just hug them like cannonball, cannonball and toilet
and it helps so much.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
That's the free version.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, okay, so.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
You do that. Do that.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
And then I told the kids. I was like, hey,
when I get out of the bathroom, if you guys
want to go to the pool, have your swimsuits on.
We'll do an afternoon session at the pool. And sometimes
they listen, sometimes they don't. I came out of the bathroom,
all three of them swim suits were on, ready to go.
(02:01):
So we packed up, went to the pool for like
two and a half hours, and then all of a sudden,
the skies turned dark. Time the lifeguard did the like
I guess, thunder in the area, lightning, and I was like,
all right, boys, get out of the pool, gotta wait
(02:22):
twenty minutes. And I looked at the sky. I was like, boys,
just get your stuff, we're going home. And we got
home and it was just a monsoon, and so we
hung out the house for like thirty minutes, like watch
the rain. Big old tree branch come off the top
of our tree in the backyard, fell in the middle
of the yard. And then the rain subsided, and I
(02:43):
was like, all right, boys, who wants to go to
dinner with my soccer team? And they're like, I do,
I do, And so we packed.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Up the car, had a soccer team dinner.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
End of the season. Yeah, it's like a celebration. And
so we and one guy lives like thirty forty minutes
from where I live, and so since he always drives
into the soccer game, we all met out there. So
it was like a forty five minute drive with traffic
to the rest and rain traffic and rained. All the
(03:16):
lights were out near my all the traffic lights because the.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Storm were blinking.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Yeah no they're out. Yeah no, man, So we drove
there and we all met up and ate and that
took about hour and a half to eat for all
the people gathered around chatting it up, blah blah blah.
And then we were like. My oldest son is like, Dad,
can we go? I'm really tired. I was like, all right.
So we got back in the car, drove thirty five
(03:40):
minutes home and we got home. Kids brushed their teeth,
went to bed. I sat down on the couch watch
a game four of the Stanley Cup and that was
over five to three. Carolina turned off the TV went up,
brushed my teeth, got in bed, said night night, lights out.
Nap Now, yes, there was a no napper. So I
(04:02):
was exhausted, like I was. I was struggling in the
third period. How many days a week do you get
a nap? At least three? It's harder in the summer.
Summer's harder.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
I'm thinking about that.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah, our baby's home too, so.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yeah, but your baby nass more than my kids won't nap.
It's so hard. And so sometimes they're like, oh, Dad,
can we watch a movie? And so I'll sit on
the couch and I mean I'll fall asleep sitting up
because I'm just like, I'll put my head back on
the back of the couch and boom.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Well would have been you're telling me something good from
all that? Well no, no, just in general, what was
it going to be? Oh?
Speaker 2 (04:38):
My tell me something good was going to be. Today
was the last day that I woke up that there
won't be World Cup on. The World Cup starts tomorrow,
So we are one sleep away.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Hold on what it starts tomorrow tomorrow? Yeah, whoa, I
didn't realize that.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
That's what I mean. The biggest sporting event in the
world begins tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
And so they win like fifty million dollars if they
in it?
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Do they really?
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Who? Does the team? The country?
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Well, not the country. I don't think it goes to
their tax dollars.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
No, I think it goes probably to the play coaches.
I believe federation.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
I didn't know there was like actual, like real money.
I believe it's fifty million. Might can find it for me.
And the second second place is like thirty million. Okay,
we go. Championship fifty million in prize money, second place
thirty three million, third place twenty nine, fourth place twenty seven,
quarter finalists nineteen million, fifteen to eleven, so it actually
(05:29):
gives people motivation for like a third bronze map. Do
they have medals?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah, I don't have medals, but they at their third
place match? Yes, what they call it? Yeah, so yeah,
today's the last day. I mean, you wake up tomorrow
and it's World Cup.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Time and it's all in America, right, So.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
It's in Canada, America and Mexico.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah. Yeah, but the time zones are the same as US.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Well, Eastern time is not the same as US and West.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
No, I'm talking about America.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Yes, it's as north. It's as far as I know,
since it's all in North America. All the time zones
are from Pacific to Eastern. I like it.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
So yeah, because in the past, you wake up and
you're like, wow, all the games are over, Like.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
That's oh no, there's some that are at midnight though, Okay, now,
is it so they can show their own countries only
West Coast I think it's the West Coast games.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
But that would start at ten o'clock our time. No, no, no,
I mean it would start at ten o'clock their time.
Excuse me, that's still late regardless. Okay, it's funny, or.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Maybe it's midnight in New York.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
That would work at nine o'clock there, Okay, because you
get start at nine o'clock.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
That might be.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
That might be what it is.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
That's exciting as long as America is in. I'm watching,
And how far are we predicted to go lunch knockout stage?
We have to we have to we have to get
to the knockout stage. And we played Germany pretty good
two to one. We looked better than what was that
a practice to watch?
Speaker 2 (06:52):
So they do warm up matches to warm up matches
leading up, like you do some training for like five days,
then you play a game, train for four more days,
play a game, then you have like four or five
days to train before your first match.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Are those what they call the friendlies?
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Not exactly the same? Right? Warm ups aren't exactly right.
They're friendly feeling, but they're not exactly a friendly there's a.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Little more intensity.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Okay, yeah, they're kind of Meani, it's not so friendly,
it's all meani, Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, cool, Thanks for
your day.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, so that was a great day, man, it was.
It was awesome, exhausting, but man, I felt asleep about
two seconds. I felt great.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Let's see my day yesterday. This always feels like that
Beatles song.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Then then oh woke up?
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Yeah, yeah did. We finished the show at around twelve
for sure. I had to get over and do a
Josh Ross interview right after that at a different building.
And Josh Ross has that song that's single single, Saturday
Night a single again. It's a good one. Yeah, And
(07:55):
I like that guy a lot. He was exhausted from
CMA fest. There is a look in the eyes of
folks that I recognize. And it was just him and me,
and he was even about ten minutes late, which we
got real close to canceling it. I did. But I
do like Josh a lot, and I also thought something's
(08:17):
up and he comes in and he goes, dude, I'm
so sorry. I am exhausted from cmafest. I think you
playing at fourteen shows, wow, over four days. Because he's
got basically two number one songs now that was about
to be number one, So I get it. And we
did probably twenty see the time on it, twenty three
twenty four minute, Yeah, twenty three to four it'll be
(08:38):
on in a couple of weeks. But as I'm looking
at him and his eyeballs, pure exhaustion. And so in
those situations, either if I'm not feeling it from them
at all because maybe they're not given much or they're
a bad interview, or if they're exhausted, I'll carry it
a little bit and just tell stories that makes sense
and have them jump into comment on it. So we
(08:58):
did that. Just love the guy. He also was almost
a Canadian Football League player. He's big, he's an athlete,
but he doesn't really talk about that because there's a
lot of these guys that played college ball, like you know,
got a tickle in the NFL training camp. But he
was a motocross racer, but that's not really his thing.
(09:19):
He's the guy that got on stage and was like,
I love America more than Canada. Oh right, And he
didn't really mean that, but so and I told him,
I said, I'm not talking about Canada at all in this.
I love Canada. It's actually the friendliest place I've ever
been of all places. I said, but I think you
probably this is off, Mike. Don't you get tired of
everybody only wanted to talk to you about Canada, like
that's all they know about you. And he was like, yeah,
(09:40):
he said, for three years it's all people will talk about.
And I said, well, nothing will be Canadian and so
because he's like doing it himself. And so we talked
for a long time. And again, if I didn't really
like the guy, I think it had been different. But
we did that. Rolled right into our Lots to Say podcast,
which is my NFL show, which we do for the NFL.
We had Brian our on yesterday, which is fun because
(10:01):
he's a pretty famous Chicago bear.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
That's cool.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
So that was a good That was a fun guest.
We have a lot of cool guests, but that was
a fun one. So we did that. Left that immediately
got to therapy. My therapist knows that I am on
time or something's wrong. I walked in at thirty at
like thirty and fifty eight, I.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Go right on time.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
I'm talking almost in two more seconds, I wouldn't have
been on time.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Did that.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Had immediately left to go back to interview Shaboozi. I
don't even have time to eat lunch yesterday. Not a
flex at all. I just didn't. I didn't time it
right and I never met Shaboozy. As a matter of fact,
I felt like Shaboozy blew me off. Once at the
NFL Awards in New Orleans, the Honors. Yeah, the Honors
saw him backstage. There is no way that dude blew
(10:44):
me off for any reason whatsoever. I always want to give
that gap hug and kisses. He's awesome.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Like really, so that's you're saying, that's a story.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
I projected that. Yep, yep, for sure. I don't even
think he saw me. Although I was right next to
he probably didn't even know who I was and I
said Hi, but there were one hundred people saying hi.
And in my mind, I'm like, oh, that dude must
have a problem with me, because some artists do. Because
I don't bring him in on the show or I
say things just would never have been the case. That
(11:15):
guy wouldn't blow anybody off. So he came in. He
is a beast size wise. He says he's six three okay,
and I'm five nine if he's six to three, and
we sat down for over an hour, I thought, because
he has like the dreadlocks like Bob Marley, So I
(11:39):
pictured like, is it called Rastafarian?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:42):
Like chill guy dreads like he couldn't have been like
more lovable, Like he's just a little. It wasn't what
I was expecting, and so the storm hit hard in
the middle of the interview, though, to the point where
we'd be talking and he'd be like, whoa whole crew
big yeah, big thunder so and I'll have that up
(12:05):
in a couple of weeks on the Bobby Cast, Mike,
were you surprised that? How how warm and like welcoming?
He was, Yeah, he's a vibe and I like him
a lot.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Me too.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
I didn't have an opinion on him other than I
thought maybe at one point when we're in San Francisco
he saw me and thought, Ah, that dude ain't for me.
But I kind of wanted to hug him when he left,
and so he left that after about an hour or so,
and then he came back into the studio because we
have multiple buildings where we shoot, and he came back
(12:37):
in and he goes, hey, you need to have my
cell phone number, and I don't take anybody's clone number
because I don't want them to have mine. I was like, yeah, okay,
he took it. I love the dude, so that'll happen.
I just wasn't expecting that. I didn't have an expectation
but my expectation wasn't that he was just gonna be
like so warm and so friendly. I thought he'd be
(13:01):
just way chill, And it's just the dreads, the Bob Marley.
Yeah uh, and his career is totally different than that.
Even what I thought. It was like he was grinding
for a long time. Where do you think he's from.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
So so his.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
Dad, oh wait, hold on, hold on, it just popped
my head. Is it Virginia.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Yeah, that's that's where he's from. Yeah, so get this
fun fact. He's from Nigeria. So his dad's from Nigeria.
Straight up, his dad immigrated here. They lived in Virginia,
but his dad's indent to boarding school in Nigeria.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
He was born in Virginia but went.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Back and lived in Nigeria because his dad's like, you
need to know what it's like. And then he came
back for a couple of years.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
I'm telling you, dude, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
And his story about that song coming out, which was
just what wasn't even meant to be that, and he's like, dude,
it just started streaming like a million streams a day,
and then all of a sudden, I can't wait for
you guys. Hear it anyway, loved him. Finished that, got
back home about six, and then it was baby because
(14:15):
my wife was having something dumb with her hair because she,
I guess inter just thing when you're pregnant. I guess
you're supposed to do stuff your hair.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
For the most part, okun't color it really, yeah, they
advised you not to.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
She's doing some of her hair. So I was a
little bit on baby patrol. But it kept thundering, so
to scare the baby, there were sirens, there were police,
fire trucks, limbs in the highway. I guess for like
forty five minutes the world ended.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Yeah, I mean my house was shaken.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
It was.
Speaker 5 (14:42):
So.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
And then watched episode eight of Friends and Neighbors. All
ten are out. Now that's the John Ham show. My
wife loves that show. I like that show. So we
watched that and then fell asleep. I slept like absolute
dog garbage last night. But if you never seen a
dog garbage can it's mostly poop. So I slewt like
dog garbage last night and that was it. Woke up,
(15:03):
came in today. I was really hungry though, by about
three thirty, because I just forgot to eat lunch.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Do you have more case?
Speaker 3 (15:11):
I could?
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Oh that's the problem. I could have timed it right.
It wasn't one of those where I'm like, no time
when Hey, no crying on the yacht, right, yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
But if you're hungry, I mean, that's no.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
But I could have fit ten minutes in. I was
just strategically not my best yesterday.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Like, you can't say no crying on the yacht every
day of your life. I have on the yacht.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
I have to because people will go like, oh you love,
all you're doing is talking to microphone. Did you no
crying on the yacht? I hear you.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
But I still live in a pretty normal life.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Everybody dies and I came. I did go to therapy.
I did go to therapy.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
That's not always easy.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
The world ends. I'm the only one surviving. It's guys,
no crying on the yacht.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
This isn't a yacht, dude.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Uh, that was my day yesterday. Amy, give me your tone. Oh,
I tell me something good would have been that. I
did not expect to really enjoy the time with Chiboozi
even before the mic started, because he just starts talking
about Walmart and he's like, how did Sam Walton build that?
And so I said, well, I'm from Arkansas. It started
as this. This is where He's just like this crazy goes.
(16:17):
Are we already on? And Mike's like, we're recording, and
that's how it starts. We're just talking about the growth
of Walmart. So that's what's up.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
I watched a whole video yesterday on Bentonville. Popped up
in my feed of how the Waltons have made Bentonville
a desirable place for their executives because people were like, wait,
you want us to leave these jobs and these other
parts of.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
The country metropolitan major metropolitan c yeah, and you want.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Us to come live in this town in Arkansas.
Speaker 5 (16:50):
And they're like yeah, And so that's why it's so
cultured and there's so many trails and you can bike
and outdoor activities and the art museum like to make
it Hey listen.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
I don't know why I watched this whole thing.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
But either actually, because I think I would have even
scrolled past it pretty interesting though, well.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
I just was like, huh, maybe my Arkansas connection to you.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
I'm not quite sure, but I was very impressed with
how they wanted to create this environment so that people
didn't want to leave.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
It's a great town. They've investigated a lot into it
culture wise and stuff to do. And Fatveel is a
great college city because it's all those are together, Fattville, Bentonville, Rogers,
all that area. Sometimes I knew greats though. You order
something and you're like, why is it taken forty three
minutes coming from Rogers? Like God, damn, wish wouldn't order
it from Rogers. I want you tell me something good.
Speaker 5 (17:42):
Mine is that I finally got another episode in of
a Love Trapped Now. The reason why I'm listening to
this it's the one where the girl trapped the former
bachelor guy. She said, I'm pregnant, but they never even
had sex.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
It's crazy. So I listened to it every.
Speaker 5 (18:01):
Couple of weeks because I only listened to it at
my lashes appointment because I see my friend Amy for
lashes and we always find something fun to listen to
because otherwise we'll talk the whole time, and if I'm
talking and moving my face, it's hard for her to
work on my lashes. And so we started dialing into
certain podcasts and this is the one where we screenshot
(18:22):
the episode when we're when my session's up, so we
know exactly where to pick back up, and I have
to wait every two weeks, and it's getting so good
and so I finally got another episode in and so
that was a pretty good highlight from yesterday because she's
even more nuts than we thought.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
And the whole time I'm listening, I so, I'm like,
I can't.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
Believe Bobby did her podcast And at the time you
had no idea how.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
And that's so she was at the time. Right now,
I don't remember doing the podcast, I know. So you
have to go on a walk to listen to your book,
and you have to go to lash appointment to listen
to your podcast.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
Well, love trapped. I can listen to other podcast, but
I can't.
Speaker 5 (18:59):
It be like if I listened to Head, I'd be
cheating on Amy.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
No no, no no.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
But then it's something to look forward to. I think
it's great to have something to look forward to. We
can get stuff whenever we want. And now I'm having
to practice like patience now for two weeks from yesterday,
I gotta wait and figure out her next crazy move.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
I like practicing like pickleball. Maybe you know, patience not
one of every thing is to practice.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
Yeah, well it's a good thing to have this day
and age.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
That's so.
Speaker 5 (19:30):
That was just as good as we advanced in that storyline.
And boy, you just never know, like it it'll make
you never want to not that I randomly hook up
or anything, but.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
I don't do that.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Thanks for clarifying.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Well, it'll make you not want to because that's what
he did and it has ruined.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
His or part of his life.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Yeah, crazy and he all right, Eddie.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Yeah, so you know our old security guard, Tim. I
saw him on the road yesterday, like it's like seeing
you know, your teacher at the grocery store. Like he
was just he was going in front of me on
an intersection. I go, hey, that's Tim, and I honked
the horn. He saw me. We waved each other. It
was awesome. That's fun because I hadn't seen him in
a while and it was just fun to see someone
(20:19):
in the in the while in the element.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yeah, and Tim's awesome.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Tim's the best.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Morgan.
Speaker 6 (20:25):
Well, I didn't get struck by lightning, which was a
huge deal because my backyard got struck by lightning. And
it was a crazy moment, like I was standing outside
on the deck and I watched it happened, and I
got hit with a gust of.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Like warm air.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
So I was really happy that it didn't move about
three feet to.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
The left and hit me. You feel like it almost did.
Speaker 6 (20:43):
Oh my gosh, Yeah, I saw it. I watched like
the flash of light. It felt like my life flashed
before my eyes in that like one moment.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
And then I did something burn Yeah, like.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Is there a big hole like fire in your backyard?
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Life changed now flash?
Speaker 5 (20:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I don't want to be outside when it's lightning ever again.
I learned that.
Speaker 6 (21:03):
And I saw a bunch of sparks, but surprisingly nothing
like I just felt a burst of really warm air,
which is what they say like can happen when lightning strikes.
So besides that, no, no, no hole or anything like that.
And then Taco Bell brought back my potato griller, which
I'm really excited about.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Well, we're glad you're alive. More glad you're getting your
potato griller.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
I'm really excited. All right, there you go. I have
a question. Is yours the same as my name? He
wants to give us every detail in every podcast episode.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
Well I can't.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
And then you won't even believe or like we don't.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
It's just fascinating because yesterday made it to the point
where she's done this to another guy before, and like
we can end up in having to spend a bunch
of legal money for something we didn't even do wrong.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
That's what's so messed up.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Yeah, and not just in this type of situation, in
any yeah type of situation.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
That's what it got me thinking yesterday of like you
could just well.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
They bully people all the time with money, Like sometimes
people will trying to sue me, and I'm like, yeah,
I'm not the guide threatened, not now, seven years ago,
ten years ago, threatened, Okay, I'm fine. I got money
and I'm gonna get so much prece out of this
and I'm gonna kill you. And on social media like
it's like actually, kind I'm excited about it. Let's go. Yeah,
(22:17):
people bully with money. It's crazy when it comes to lawsuits.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Yeah, well it's just because of her accusations and stuff,
like these men are having to hire and spend all
this money and defend themselves and they did nothing wrong,
and she's wearing a like prosthetic billy that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
In court.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
That's crazy. I'm afraid those are spoilers though I know.
I'm afraid you're like mini spoiling.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
It's been in the news.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Also does I never heard my account, But okay, there
you go. That's what it's all about. It's time for
the good news. Police officer in Indiana was riving through town.
Name's Adam. See smoke coming from house. It's like, let
me drive over there, just to make sure everything's okay.
(23:06):
It was not okay. It was heavy black smoke coming
from the windows. So he goes up to the door
and he's like, hey, boom, boom boom. There were several
vehicles outside, so he knows people are there. He doesn't
hear anything. He forced the door open. There's smoke all
inside the house, and then he starts to hear people
screaming who after he had already opened the door and
so he heard the voices. It was so smoky he
(23:28):
couldn't see. He runs around the home and the smoke
and found the family trapped in the basement trying to escape,
So he breaks the basement window. The neighbor then runs
over and they helped them through like that. You know,
some basements will have like a window that's on the ground. Yeah, yep.
They ripped him up through that, and so they did
(23:49):
a whole post about him and like all that. It
just it's commitment to break the door down. Yeah, just
in general, black smoke door down.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Then you hear voices and then you're thinking, like I
gotta go in there, but you're putting yourself in danger.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Steph could be on fire and fall on you. And
then you hear you gotta go to the bait all.
That's crazy. So to Adam Zormier, Indiana police officer, shout
out to you, you save lives. That's awesome. I know
it's what you signed up for, but I'm glad you
signed up for it because me, I probably seeing smoke
turn the other way because I am a whimp. There
you go, that's what it's all about.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
It's time for the good news. David Jacobson was from Omaha, Nebraska,
and he was at a baseball game, right and he's leaving.
He rides his bike, that's how he gets around, and
he's going down a trail and he gets home and
he's like, where's my wallet. I swear I had my
wallet when I left the baseball game. So he goes
(24:43):
back on the trail, rides it two or three times.
He's like, I can't find my wallet. And the crazy
thing is he had five hundred dollars in cash because
he was paying bills with that, so he had just
gotten cash out and the wallet's gone. Well. Two days later,
he goes to the mailbox just to get his mail.
What's in there his wallet with a note from a
guy named Leo McIntosh. It says, hey, man, I'm a
(25:05):
bike rider as well. I found this. I looked in
it and your license had your address. So here's your wallet.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
That's pretty cool and good for everybody. Man of it
happened to me. They drop it off like three houses
ago because I've never updated my address.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
License. It just ain't it ain't right.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
I need a look. There's no there is zero percent
chances in my right house. It's not three houses three
houses ago. And they get my that's cool. He did that.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Yeah, So they had to meet up right to get
the wallet. So they met up, and when they met up,
David said, hey, dude, can I give you some money
just for a reward? The guy said, no, you're good,
just doing my thing.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
That's pretty cool. Good story That is what it's all about.
That was telling me something good.
