Speaker 1 (00:03):
Transmitting, Welcome to Thursday Show morning studio. Would you ever
kiss a stranger's baby?
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Right right?
Speaker 3 (00:19):
You know?
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Okay? So I just never would have anyway because I
wasn't a baby guy. Then I had a baby, and
then I realized, you don't people touching your baby if
it ain't their baby. And I was talking to Jack's
on the Bobby cast and she said, and she's not
from the South and she moved here, and.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
She said, we're a.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Restaurant waitress, kiss my baby. Who's the clip that we
played earlier this week, and so I put it up.
Mostly people agree, don't touch somebody else's baby, like.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Regardless, especially with your mouth.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Yeah, here you go a couple of comments. This is
dangerous and can be fatal. I'm so glad the baby's
okay now that that that's three hardcore, Like if they
have a disease, like it can be fatal, especially if
your baby, you know, it's not vaccinated and get some disease. Okay,
I grew up in the South. It's very common. They
just kissed him on the head. That's fine, it's it's lesser,
(01:13):
but it ain't fine. You shouldn't do that. You shouldn't
touch another kid's baby, or another guy's baby, or woman's
baby at all.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
You don't touch a baby if it's not yours. Don't
touch don't.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Touch a pregnant belly either unless you get her mission
do that. Yeah, here's another one. It's literally not fine.
Don't kiss a baby that you didn't make period.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Great.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
I agree with that. An airport worker did that in
France with our son. I was going through security with
my two kids alone, and she held them while I
walked my daughter through. Then she kissed him on his mouth.
He was sick for four weeks after.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
That on his I was thinking because his France is
like cheek cheek.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yeah, it's mostly people agreeing. In Florida last week, I
got trapped in elevator with about five people and a
lady wouldn't stop touching my baby's hands and face. I
was legit trapped. If there had been a kiss, I'd
gone crazy. Okay, let's extend this a bit. Don't touch
a baby that's not yours and you didn't ask. It's
(02:15):
it's so wild and I don't want some people have
to just think there's a baby there and you just
touch it. Also, we're not in the sixties. I bet
you there's a different time when old people were young.
I bet you can just lick a baby. You see
one you like, Oh, I'm all good. We don't understand
why the baby's sick.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Now you can look at it right and do the
goo goo goo goo like that.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Don't get don't get so close to that. What you're
breathing end is going to it. Okay, Okay, you can
google from standing up tall.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Cause like I was flying a couple of weeks ago,
and there was a baby right in front of me
in the row in front of me, and it would
like when the mom was holding it, it would look
at me in the back seat, you know, So I'd
be like, great, okay.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Because you're sitting in the same seat you were sitting in. Anyway,
if you leaned away in and got nose and nose,
I don't like that.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Okay. I didn't do that.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
One more. I told an older couple not to touch
my newborn in. The wife was so offended she responded with,
my husband's a pastor.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Oh well, that makes everything better.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
I guess if you know the big guy, he gives permission.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
What's that saying of?
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Like the politicians zoo, shaking hands, kissing babies.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Oh, that's right, we should change that one. Don't even
shake my hand. I don't want to touch your hand. Just
look me in the eye and say, hey, I hope
you have a good day. Yeah, that's you're right. There's
a guy on Wisconsin who landed as helicopter at Cabella's
because he just didn't want to drive. The drive was
too long.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Legit, that's so cool, right.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Hit the clip. That's a helicopter and the Cabella's parking
lot just sitting there in the back corner like another
pickup truck you might see. The deputy was called thereafter
the chopper made its landing, and.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
The sixty nine year old pilot told the deputy he
flew in because quote, the drive was too long and
he wanted to skip all the roundabouts. Turns out he
was fully licensed, followed AFA rules, landed safely, and cooperated
with questions. In the end, no violations, no arrests, just
one very memory.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Both parking a lot, the land just in the park.
You can just land in a park.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
I thought i'd a helipad.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
No, he's literally in the parking lot, in the parking
lot back right, corner.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
If you're just doing license, you can just land in
a parking lot.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
I mean they said no citations were given, but how
many spaces do you think you.
Speaker 7 (04:20):
Need because that lad no more more more than sixty Okay,
so you don't.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Want to be anywhere near because you can't people like walking.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
And also if the parking lots pretty empty, that means
traffic isn't that bad. Drive it's on a Saturday pack Saturday,
you ain't landing the helicopter in that parking lot.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I can't believe you can just fly a helicopter and
land anywhere.
Speaker 8 (04:41):
Same.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
That's from W B A Y same. So we've talked
about tipping a bunch, and I was reading a story
as to why rich people a lot of times are
worst tippers. I never thought about this. I myself, I
take pride in tipping because I needed tips growing up,
(05:02):
didn't matter of my job worked at a marina, if
I was waiting tables. I had so many jobs where
I depended on the kindness of others and I was
going to give the greatest service and.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
People will be like, here, you have some tips.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
But there would be rich people coming to this restaurant
that I worked, and they would, for the most part,
be the worst tippers, and I would go, they have money,
why aren't they giving it? I have been enlightened by
this story from readers Digest.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Oh, of all places your favorite?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Do you know this?
Speaker 3 (05:30):
No? I don't, But I have two different theories.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
One of them is right, Oh, okay, you're a pretty
smart person in it. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
One theory is they grew up wealthy and they never
had to work in the service industry, so they don't really.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Know what it's like.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
What is your other theory?
Speaker 4 (05:48):
My other theory is that they are wealthy because they're
frugal and they save a lot.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
That's why they're rich.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, your first theory is exactly right, because you would think.
And they did food delivery and Uber eats, door Dash,
even pizza places, and they asked in each town which
neighborhoods are the best to go to, and they never
picked the rich neighborhoods, which they thought was weird. The
best tips come from middle and lower class because the
(06:19):
people that live in that had to have those type
of jobs and they know how hard it is to
make it and they had to rely on tips, so
they tip. Well, how about that?
Speaker 2 (06:27):
That's interesting.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Experts say it's because they know what workers go through
and it's all about empathizing. Good y'all for you for
thinking about that. I just was like, I hate rich people.
I just settled on I hate rich people. And because
the richest people for the most.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Part left the worst tips.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Wow, And it's because they don't know how much we needed.
So it's not that they're being bad in their own
mind going I'm selfish, I'm keeping it. It's that they
don't understand the value of what a tip can do
to someone. Can Taylor car insurance not all at once?
I'd be a heck of a tip. Eddie and I
were talking on the Bobby Cast about most overexposed celebrities
(07:10):
right now. If I were just to say to you,
who do you think is overexposed right now? And it
doesn't mean you don't like them, but they're just out
there too much.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Okay, it's died down a little bit since the wedding,
but Taylor and Travis.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
I said, Travis, I think to me, Taylor is unoverexposable.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Because I mean, I don't mind it.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
She just has always existed everywhere, all the time, but
I can see that them together. I did say Travis Kelsey,
though who else comes to mind? If nobody, I'll move on.
H I don't know, that's it, Lunchbox.
Speaker 8 (07:42):
Jelly Rolling, Bunny.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Okay, I said jelly Roll. He was on the list,
And this story is about jelly Roll because jelly Roll
says he's stepping away from touring what you may have
seen on social media to heal after they're split. And
I like jelly Roll, and so to say someone is
overexposed doesn't mean you disliked them at all. But he
was everywhere every TV show, he was, had a Hulu documentary,
(08:07):
he had the soccer song, the World Cup song. He
was everywhere all the time. And that's the goal is
to get overexposed. That's everybody's goal. To be so popular
that everybody wants you, and then hopefully you strategically take
a half step back and go, I'm gonna how about
for a minute, so that there's a demand for you later.
But yeah, I did put jelly Roll on the list,
(08:29):
and I like jelly Roll.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Not to you, I hadn't thought of that one, I
guess to me, I was mostly saying a lot about
their divorce so that's circumstantial. But I wasn't thinking of
the overall last few years, how much he's been in
the news. And yeah, he's so he's taking a break
from touring to to heal you.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Yeah, poor guy.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
For like I mean, because he has been road.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
He's fine, No, I know, but this is he must.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
Not be fine. He's not He's not okay. He is
not okay okay to.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Take a year or two off from touring.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Broken heart man, fair enough.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
I'll give you guys that I'm It possibly could be
because people are like, hey, dude, you get to the
point where the overexposure could start factoring it negatively. But
it also could be that could be a mix of everything.
He also gets to be tired because he's been going
so hard for so long. Yeah, Eddie picked Timothy Shalomony.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Really everywhere, he's everywhere.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
He's a Knicks fan and Eddie's a Spurs fan, and
so he was annoyed that he was everywhere during that series.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
He was at every single game, Like Dan, people, get
out of here.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
But if he was a Spurs hand, it'd be fine.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
That'd be kind of cool. Right, We'll take it.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Did you see Ariana Grande stepping away too.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Oh did she get her heart broken?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
It was like she was getting too much personal like attack,
personally like.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Social stepping out of the spotlight for.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, I forget the exact words she used, personal scrutiny
or something. If that's the case, I've been out for
like ten years, you just quit. It's my personal scrutiny. Hey, guys,
you hadn't seen me. I'm out of here man for
a long time. It'd be nice to be able to
have whatever kind of money she has and just go, like,
you know what, I don't want to take six months off. Yeah,
(10:21):
that would be crazy. It'd be wild to be an
adult and get to like backpack through well anywhere, because
that means you have money to just take off for
a long time.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Like McConaughey on his book, he said that he was
kind of tired of acting for a little bit, so
he got a motorcycle with two of his buddies and
they just went all over Europe.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
So you can also, you don't have to be rich.
I don't know if he was rich at that point,
But you can also just be free. You can have
a job that's not an every day nine to five job,
and acting is not that type of job. Yeah, so
you can also kind of be broken do that too.
It's usually either really broke people that can do that
or really rich and not the middle of that, we
were talking about celebrities that people said were rude, and
(11:04):
I read all those and then I read the comments
to all those mostly people coming after me. I'd like
to read you this one. This is from flits splits.
I once met Bobby Bones and he was so rude
and pushed me down the stairs and laughed at me
and walked away.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Dang, dude, why'd you do that?
Speaker 1 (11:24):
He said, totally real. Not it all made up and
there's no proof it didn't happen.
Speaker 8 (11:28):
That's my point.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Everyone that wrote all this negative stuff about the one
thing about Carrie at the Opry, the one thing about Taylor,
the one thing about Millie, Bobby Brad, It's one thing
that anybody can write, and flitz Splitz nailed it. I
didn't even push him that hard, but obviously I didn't. Right.
He just shows you how easy it is to write
(11:50):
something and get a bunch of clicks, and so I
printed that off. I don't know flitz Splitz is, but
pretty funny, Hey, real one of the day, flitz splits
is the real one of the day. I got somebody
that was making fun of my hair, and so I
was going to read you a couple of these.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
A lot of people want you to cut it?
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Why would they care?
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Did you see that?
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Yeah, that's what I was going to talk about. But
why do you say a lot of people like you're
also part of that.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Group you wanted to cut? No?
Speaker 3 (12:20):
No, no, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
She's like a lot of people would say.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
No. I didn't know exactly where you were going with this,
but I was in your comments and I kept seeing I.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Didn't see you defend me and you so you were
in the comments and you saw someone attacking.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
I thought what I did have thoughts of why are
these people so worried about Bobby's hair?
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Like?
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Who cares? If you want me to go into FI?
Speaker 1 (12:44):
No, I don't ask right now. I don't want to
have to ask for somebody to take out for me.
So I got one here from Chikia seventeen. You need
a haircut talking to me? You know who jumped in Scooba?
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Steve?
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Oh nice?
Speaker 8 (12:58):
Whoa Scuba Scooba?
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Steve jumped and it said, No, I need to keep
growing it. I want to see it shoulder linked and
up in a scrunchy Heck.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Yeah, dude, I want to I want to see you
commit and go all the way.
Speaker 7 (13:07):
Appreciate you jumping in I mean a man, but I
want to see an actual pony tail.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
This guy k Tar Music said, Bobby, you really need
a haircut. And I replied, because I went to his
page to see what he looked like. I said, you
need to shave that gigantic worm from under your nose,
that mustache. We both we both can do this, buddy,
And he did not like that.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah, you tell him.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
How did he reply to that? Uh no, he didn't
reply to that. But he didn't respond to that at all.
I have not had a haircut in probably five months
or so, and it is getting kind of long. I
don't know that it's the longest it's ever been in
my life. But Billy, our baby, loves it.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
She plays with it.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
It's her favorite thing. It makes her laugh if I
just do this, she thinks it's so funny. And so
she's been growing hers because she's a baby and she
has hair. So I've just been growing mine alongside her,
there's never been I'm gonna grow my hair out, but
she thinks it's so funny. Just if I shake my
head and my hair goes around and she loves to
grab it. And also what else am I doing? I
wouldn't have longer hair like this in four years, So
(14:14):
just becaut of my last run. It's my last run
to doing whatever I want, because I'm coming to working
suits when I turn fifty.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
Oh really, Oh wow, Okay, that's crazy, like just sports
coat and like the.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Full suit's what happened the day?
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Is tie or no tie?
Speaker 1 (14:29):
I don't know. Probably some days on Friday's probably loose button.
Speaker 8 (14:32):
The rest of the day is.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Probably all the way up casual Fridays.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
But I do my hair is longer now and everybody
else can suck it, don't. I don't give a crap
what you think.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah, are your curls gone?
Speaker 3 (14:42):
No?
Speaker 9 (14:43):
No?
Speaker 1 (14:43):
But if I don't wash it, they stay of little out.
But if I wash it, it curls up like crazy.
Speaker 7 (14:48):
You can see them, and I don't want it. It
looks like a perm. Yeah, in the day, it looks
like a perm. People don't know back in the day.
Do you have the best curly, fluffy hair.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
I don't want it to do that because it curls
so much that if I take a shower and I
wash it, I'll probably only wash it twice a week
because I don't like it being like that. It curls
up hard and it looks so much like I got
under one of those.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Those salon balls that you get under.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
It's not good. So I'll watch a couple of hours
week and then I put some It's not some kind
of thing my wife gives me to make sure that
it doesn't curl so hard up.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
But yeah, yeah, yeah, I want to shave my head.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
You should once, you should want to get it over with.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
God, it was just fil y'all.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Y'all ever have at I shave my head, Eddie.
Speaker 8 (15:37):
I do it every day.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Just this, you know, just to I don't know, just
a fresh start.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
So people that shave their head are often going through
something and they do it to have control.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
I get that, and I'm not Oddly, I'm in a
really great space. Sometimes I just feel like it'd be
good to just shave my head and see how it
would grow out and what would happen.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
That's most a control thing, like you feel like, maybe
you're not in control of everything in your life, but
that's the one of the things you can control.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Instead, I think I'm probably just gonna get like an
inch or two taken off.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Come on for it.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Just maybe as a close friend, you should shave your head. No,
do I think for a bit on the show you
should save your head.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
Oh, absolute, do you want to shave it?
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yes, Bobby, shave your head.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yes, we'd sit you down in the middle, put a
little smock on. Oh my gosh, I never shaved a head.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Actually, it feels like the feeling you're getting, like this,
whatever satisfaction you'd get from me shaving my head, I
kind of feel that right now.
Speaker 9 (16:39):
One.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
Two feel so.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Free realistically, how are you maybe shaving your head?
Speaker 10 (16:44):
No?
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Really rich ones?
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Which which one ten.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Ten means yes all the way, Ye to do it
right now, but one means not for sure.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
I mean, okay, I'll give you.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
No, no, no, be for real. Two Okay, that's where
you are. I'll try to get you with three. I
think felt a lot better if he did.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Yeah, I think we would support you one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Oh I bet you would.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
So.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Eddie's son is musical bit no, no, no, he's an athlete.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Which are we talking about here?
Speaker 2 (17:16):
He's the eleven year old, got it? He is an
He is an athlete.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Eddie has a son that's an athlete. Doesn't play music.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
He plays basketball. He's even starting football now, which he's
pretty good at football too. Okay, Now, his school is like, hey,
we're doing electives. If you want to play an instrument,
now's your time to choose an instrument. He got all
excited he's playing the violin. He's decided, no, Amy.
Speaker 6 (17:40):
It's not awesome, that's not very manly.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
That's so expensive.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
We all have different He can bust out like a
fiddle or a violin and play.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
He will never Ever, there's no way that he's going
to be twenty years old still playing the violin. Zero
percent chance I know him.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
So he takes over his dad like he'd like, he
starts something, something he wants to do. That is an
intense instrument to choose. Yeah, it's very hard and very expensive.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
Why is it so expensive?
Speaker 2 (18:10):
It's just a instrument.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
But do you have to buy the instrument or the
school provides it.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Daddy has to buy it?
Speaker 1 (18:15):
Oh, oh my god, how passionate is he about learning
the violin.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Zero. He's never even said the words violin ever.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Has he said fiddle?
Speaker 2 (18:25):
No?
Speaker 8 (18:26):
He doesn't even care about music.
Speaker 11 (18:28):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
And then all of a sudden, the school is like,
you want to learn an instrument? He's like, that sounds cool.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Why not the guitar, That's what I'm saying. The drums,
Oh no, you don't want that.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Well, I can get him like one of those silent
drums like.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
Electric Yeah, yeah, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
But the fact that he put the violins just like
really just upsets me.
Speaker 6 (18:48):
Has he seen the other kids trying to do violin?
They're probably on the nerdy side, right, That's what I
would guess. Violin is not really the cool instrument.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
That's what I would worry.
Speaker 8 (18:56):
Later in life.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
It gets to be really cool, That's what I'm saying
later if you commit to it over years and years
and it's so hard to play. And not only that,
mostly I think it's girls to play. At least when
I was in like high school, there weren't any guy
violin players.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
It could be different. Yeah, I think it's cool.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
His name was Brendan tell Us More. I think I
think he did a playing fiddle for Pat Green.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
He turned into his career.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Yeah, okay, So like I keep thinking of the guy
the Turnpike, you know, and they have this fiddle player
who's got long hair. He's been in the studio where
it's cowboy boots and in a weird way, I'm just like,
I mean, that's kind of cool. Like he looks cool.
He plays the field, and.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
You very cool. Playing the violin is awesome, that is,
it's elevated musically. There's a reason we don't we both
play guitar, you know why, because it was pretty accessible
and not terribly hard to play the basics a violin.
You don't even have friends that you can sit around
and play the violin with really unless you go to
violin class the symphony.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
So I don't know. I mean, we're gonna let him
do it because he wants you to buy the violin.
I mean, yeah, we have to. He's already committed, he
wants to take the class.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
I'm good for you. I know you didn't want to
get one of your kids braces, but you want to
get you'll get one of violin.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
And this is what I'm talking of. This is why
I'll never be able to retire, dude ever, because every
two months something like this happens. I want to play
the violin.
Speaker 8 (20:21):
No, you don't.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
What happens when he wants to quit?
Speaker 2 (20:27):
Oh no, he's not quitting at least the first year.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
This is a very hard instrument.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
This is what I'm thinking. He has to finish the year, right,
he plays the violin, does the classes. If he quits,
doesn't play it anymore. He's in charge of selling the violin.
He has to sell it because you know, you can
go to the store and like sell us use instruments.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Okay. Can I present an argument as to why that's
a bad idea?
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah? Good? Okay?
Speaker 1 (20:55):
Who's paying for the violin?
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I am okay?
Speaker 1 (20:57):
If he's in charge of selling it and he says,
I hate this thing I saw it, Nickel, who loses
all the money I do?
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Yeah, that's stupid, But I don't want to be the
one selling it, you know, like finding a new home
for this thing.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
By a used one and you don't even know how
to tune it? You don't. You can help him vis
a guitar. I don't know anything about even piano a keyboard.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Natalie Stovall, she knows about baby soon. Oh, maybe she
has an extra, she has good ones.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Would you look up at violins?
Speaker 5 (21:28):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (21:29):
I was just looking up if I had that guy's
name right from college. And sure enough, Yeah, his name
is Brennant. And I think he's still.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
Like she's over on her own planet as we're talking about.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
No, I was joining in on Natalie.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Crush from violin school.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
No, he wasn't my crush.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
I'm saying he was a cool guy in college that
played fiddle and then made a career of it and
then traveled with Texas country artists.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Is a single?
Speaker 3 (21:52):
I have no guys, This has nothing related to that. No,
he's married.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Into you're the one, like.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
You're over there digging on your computer. We're going I
wonder what, oh what facts Amy's come up with about
violin price.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
I thought she found a violin too, and all of.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
A sudden it's some dude she knew.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Which was nineteen twenty years ago.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
Okay, you gotta get one.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I gotta get one. Here I go spending more money.
Speaker 6 (22:16):
I got you what, an east Star four or four
violin set for one hundred and twenty nine dollars.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
That's not bad.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
What's hard? Is Walmart. That's a really hard instrument to learn.
But it's also really hard to listen to. In to
listen to when people are practicing and they don't know
how to play.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Card. I didn't even think about that. That's gonna be
a nightmare. Good luck, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Lunch Box had to make a call in This call
was I'll say, not for the benefit of somebody on
this show. I think you had a problem with something
that was happening on the show. What'd you do?
Speaker 6 (22:57):
I called the TDA. It's the Tennis Department of Agriculture,
Food and Safety Section.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Oh my gosh, no, no, no.
Speaker 8 (23:06):
I did it because I was worried.
Speaker 6 (23:07):
I don't know if Eddie is doing it by the
rule book, doing what his salsa business got it, and
we talk about it so much on the air that
I wanted to make sure that Eddie was following the
rules so he doesn't get in trouble.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Uh huh. He cares about me.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
This is for him. You're calling the basically the food
police because you care about him so much.
Speaker 6 (23:28):
Yes, because I don't want them to hear this and
bust Eddie. So I wanted to call and make sure
Eddie was in legal standing in the state of Tennessee.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
You wanted a call, they would shut down.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Eddie, is exactly what you want it.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Okay, this calls like over a minute long, so we'll
go until we can't take it anymore.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
All right, go ahead, Hi.
Speaker 9 (23:49):
This is from the Food Safety Section.
Speaker 6 (23:52):
Oh yeah, man, I was just calling because my co worker, Eddie,
he's doing like a business out of his house. He's
selling a homemade saul so and I just want to
make sure that he's doing everything on the up and
up because I don't want to I don't want him
to get in trouble. So I'm just trying to make
sure that he's allowed to do that.
Speaker 9 (24:09):
Okay, Yeah, I mean under the Tennessee Food Tradom Act,
anyone's allowed to make food and sell it at certain farmers'
markets and stuff out of their home. But do you
have second to answer a few questions? Is he there.
Speaker 8 (24:23):
Or no, he's not here.
Speaker 6 (24:25):
I'm just, you know, like I think he thinks it's okay,
and I just as a good friend, I want to
make sure he doesn't get in trouble.
Speaker 9 (24:31):
So I want to start with the very basic how
is he heating it?
Speaker 6 (24:35):
He has a smoker and he smokes it in there
like the tomatoes and stuff, and then he, I guess,
mixes it all up and puts it in jars.
Speaker 9 (24:45):
So it's like sealed. Yeah, you know, whether he's doing
a pH control of any kind, Like does he have
any like digital or like even like a litmus paper
strip anything like that, or is he.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (24:58):
I don't know about the whole sub Okay, yeah, I
don't know anything about that. I just know that he
has a house with four kids, so I don't know
about the cleanliness because you know, four kids make it dirty.
But I don't want him to get arrested or anything.
I don't want him get in trouble.
Speaker 9 (25:13):
As long as he's following all the rules. Like is
he putting labels on these things, because like you need
to be labeled with like a lot of specific things,
especially if you're going to be selling it.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
No, he didn't label it. He just like he signs
his name Eddie on the top and then puts a date.
That's the only thing.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
There's no label, it's just in Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
There's another part on it yet, Oh, this is part two.
There's much very informational.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Yeah, it was a long call. This is stupid.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Yes, it's informative, Eddie, No it's not.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
He didn't even have answers for him.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
And not only that, he brings up other things like
he's got four kids to live there.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
Do you know what he's talking about it about pH?
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yes, I've done research, we have all that, so you
do test. I don't know, Edie, you just said I
want I think it's really Yeah, we should know about it.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Go ahead.
Speaker 9 (26:08):
No, you can't do that. You need like his name,
like his address, like what the product is like. But
there could be allergens in it, like what if someone
has an allergic reaction. Also, there don't even be a
disclaimer that he made it in his house and that
the FDA or no one inspected it, like you know,
we have to just trust that he's done all the
(26:29):
processes of like checking his pH balance and stuff like
that and labeling it properly because of all those things.
And again, okay, is he storing what temperature is he storing?
Is that?
Speaker 8 (26:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (26:39):
I don't know, Like I just know that he puts
in the jars. I don't know if he leaves it
on his counter, if he puts it in the fridge,
but I know that he wheels a cooler to work
with his salts in it. So I don't know, Like
I just trying to make sure that he doesn't get
in trouble.
Speaker 9 (26:51):
Yeah, it sounds more like I should probably just talk
to your friend. Do you have the name, maybe an address,
give him of the situation up and.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 6 (27:02):
I don't want him to get in trouble. I just
was calling to get some information and I'll pass it
along to.
Speaker 9 (27:07):
Him right well, without the information that I kind of
asked or without seeing it for myself. That's where I'm
at right now. So yeah, if you want to just
give me his name, any sort of contact information, I'll
reach out to him and we can set up walk
through here.
Speaker 8 (27:21):
Man, I appreciate your time.
Speaker 6 (27:23):
I gotta go. I just I don't want him to
get in trouble. So you have a nice day, Thank
you for all your help, and have a great day.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
I'm on a list. Now they're gonna be looking for
They're going to kick in your door.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
They're going to battering ram open your door with some
pH balance scale.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Okay, so I found a pH tester on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
We have one.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Why would you do that?
Speaker 8 (27:46):
What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (27:47):
No, Edny, No, No, you were not doing that for
Reddie's well being?
Speaker 2 (27:51):
He lunch.
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Absolutely, I was because he has been doing this and
we're talking about it, and someone could hear that and
be like.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Huh because you're mister care about.
Speaker 8 (28:00):
Yes, I'm looking out for his business.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
Hey, I do appreciate He like got off the phone
before he's like his name is.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
I think he realized he was getting a little too real.
Speaker 8 (28:09):
I was like, oh, no, he really was, isn't.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
He did say Eddie though they know there's some Eddie
making salsa.
Speaker 8 (28:15):
But everybody knows we talk about it every day.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
That guy does not listen to our show.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
I mean, he's not kind of young for to be
an f D or a food guy. Like sound like
he was the intern there.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
If I get that fact that you don't know what
the pH is?
Speaker 3 (28:31):
No, I know he said he has a thermometer.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
I have that he I don't know what that is,
so I don't deal with that.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Who does?
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Don't worry, You're the only one that deals.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
I got a team.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
You don't know who is doing this?
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Eddie none? Yeah, Johnny none.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
You works for me.
Speaker 12 (28:49):
Oh, Johnny, Okay, there's a question to because.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Hello, Bobby Bones, I'm a college student. I'm always looking
for ways to make extra money. Some family friends went
on a free week vacation asked me to house sit
while they're gone. Easy money. Two rules, no parties, no
overnight guests. Not an issue anyway. A couple days after
getting in, I noticed a camera in the living room.
Then I found another one by the back door and
another in the kitchen. They never mentioned they had cameras
(29:31):
inside the house. I understand wanting security while you're away,
but now I feel like they could be watching me.
Would I be wrong if I unplug them? Signed house
sitter being watched?
Speaker 4 (29:41):
Yes, yes, she would be wrong to unplug them, yes
or yeah yes?
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Okay, yeah, you can't unplug them if you find one
of the toilet called the cops right, or the bathroom
or even the bedroom.
Speaker 11 (29:56):
Oh, for sure, the bedroom, you can unplug that.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
One, I agree. But the ones that are in the
house on purpose, I don't think they put them there
for you. And also the name of the game is
you got to watch their stuff, and that's their stuff.
And if they want to watch the inside of their
house to make sure that it's secure. They get to
you don't unplug the cameras. You can ask them, I
guess if you want. But as soon as you unplug
a camera, they're gonna think you're doing something like having
(30:20):
a party or having somebody stay over. Also, you agree
to watch the house, and in the house they have
the cameras, so you know you can't unplug. What do
you think.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
No, I don't think you can unplug the only place
I just because you hang out in your bedroom, Like
I would feel weird sitting there if I was watching TV.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Watch TV. Who cares, I'm not doing anything.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
No, I'll just watch it on my phone in my room,
or I'll read a book.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
I think if you found cameras, like all nanny camped
through the house and they didn't know that you knew,
that would be weird. But if the cameras are obviously seen,
they know you know there are cameras there, so they're
not trying to get you doing it.
Speaker 11 (30:58):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
I'm just giving them an option of like, yeah, if
you don't want to be watched, you can go hole
up in your room.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Just gett a sleeping bag, cover your head, just have
your eyes watching the show. You cannot unplug the cameras.
Speaker 11 (31:09):
Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
It's inside their house. This is their normal part of
the livy. You can't unplug the cameras. But if you
do find one in the toilet of the bathroom, called
the cops, that's that's cop worthy, right.
Speaker 11 (31:19):
I would think so, because I'd be worried how the
cameras before you?
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Yeah? Who wants the toilet things? People get a busted
for putting cameras on toilets, yes they do. Like that's
so gross. It's sick, but it's also gross. Yeah, who
wants that?
Speaker 11 (31:34):
I do not know? Ye?
Speaker 1 (31:35):
All right, close it out? Wake up, Wake up? In
the mall and the radio and the dogs.
Speaker 8 (31:49):
And his lunchbox.
Speaker 13 (31:50):
More game to Steve's trying to put you through the buck.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
He's running this week's next bit. The Bobby is on
the box, so you know.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
What this.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
The babbball ninety seconds on the clock. How many investigative
cornies can we get here, you guys? Ready? Ready? Just
corny jokes? What can we get? Let's go the morning corny?
Speaker 11 (32:18):

Speaker 2 (32:21):

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Oh we got a guess the Yeah, pride, King of
the King of them among, King of the office, xeroxt

Speaker 11 (32:30):

Speaker 1 (32:33):

Speaker 4 (32:37):
What type of toppings does a duck one on its taco?
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Black cool backers? Quack em quack job?
Speaker 11 (32:47):

Speaker 4 (32:49):
What is the lion's favorite US state to visit?
Speaker 6 (32:52):
Or r Aurora, y Detroit, Maine, Michigan, Maine.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
What do you get when you eat onions on your beans?
Speaker 1 (33:05):
Tear tier farts here, jerkers? Interesting your personal information about
Eddie onions on your beans?
Speaker 6 (33:14):
You get rying, crying farts, crying, crying smell.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Frying sprouts. I'm crying gas, burning gas, tear gas, deer
gasar gas. That's gotta be a.
Speaker 11 (33:33):
What does a mixed up hen lay?
Speaker 1 (33:37):
Mixed up mixed uprambled eggs? Go go, go go?
Speaker 11 (33:42):
What fruit teases you a lot?
Speaker 6 (33:45):

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Funny picked onion? Bully? What filed on teases you? Cheese?
Speaker 11 (33:50):

Speaker 1 (33:51):

Speaker 11 (33:52):
What fruit?
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Pretty good? Though? What is it?
Speaker 11 (33:55):
BANANAA?
Speaker 1 (33:57):
I never? No, no, no, hey, guys, are you kidding?
Speaker 11 (34:00):

Speaker 3 (34:01):
Could have gotten that?
Speaker 11 (34:05):

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Okay, read him and give us the answer you go, oh.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
Gosh, uh, what do you call a line running a

Speaker 11 (34:15):

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Just all the jokes didn't quite make sense.
Speaker 4 (34:21):
I love that one that tracks what is the lion's
favorite US.
Speaker 11 (34:27):
State to visit?
Speaker 2 (34:28):
That's a good one, dude.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
I don't know what do you get when you eat
onions on your beans?
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Gash?
Speaker 4 (34:35):
What what is the mix of henley scrambled eggs?
Speaker 2 (34:39):
Good job?
Speaker 1 (34:39):
We got five the record six. That's pretty good. Boo boo.
So many calls about Eddie's salca business. It is constant
on the voicemail lines right hit that.
Speaker 14 (34:53):
I've been trying to d M him and Amy about
telling Eddie to start hislpus. If he can to Salfa,
it's good for a year and he can ship it out.
Scept poor guy that's been asking and asking and Eddie
won't send it. Learn how to can your salsa, Eddie,
(35:15):
your business will take off like crazy, tie And we're working.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
On that process. But here's the here's the deal.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
We have ingredients in there that really don't work well
with the canning process.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
Which one's the smoke part correct, No about drum no, no.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
When you smoke vegetables, that changes all the chemistry to this.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
I'm going into this stuff like I don't.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Know what's happening, But there's chemistry to food that I
had no idea about. And smoking versus canning is they
don't mix well.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
So I'm trying to figure that out right now. Can
now I make a suggestion? Yes, make a batch? Can it?
Give it to me? Oh, I'll eat it and I'll
tell you if it's good or not. Still. It could
also be called like, uh, what what is your name
for this?
Speaker 2 (36:05):
Well, my sausa?
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Yeah, producer readies homemade smoke sauce. You gotta work on that.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
What do you mean, producer ready is homemade smoke salsa?
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Yeah, people that don't know you, you're gonna be producing
what salza? You gotta be like sombrero heads salsa, you know. Yeah,
just something like that. It's something we can work on.
But if you do that, I'll give you the honest
truth to be like it's still good because it could
be like producer reds JV Salsa in a can. Yeah,
but and then super fresh salsa and a jar locally
and then people are making the.
Speaker 11 (36:32):
Can stuff is also in a jar.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
They call it can, but it's in a jar. I'd
like to raise my head right now and say, I
am stupid. You were putting it in like a Campbell
soup can. Stupid.
Speaker 11 (36:43):
It's the same Mason jar.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
It's just the process in which you do it, and
it preserves it.
Speaker 11 (36:47):
Like think of when you're.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
Buying salsa on a shelf at the store, or jam
is in a jar. All of that is preserved and
when you pop the lid, you know how it goes.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I don't think call it jar then they should because
can confusing. I'm i plead stupid.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
No, you're good, hey man, we've all been there.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
I start crying. I've never felt more dumb in my life.
Do that. Yeah, and also I've already canned one.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
And I'll be honest, but but I mean, I'm gonna
give it at least a month, because you need to
give it that time.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
But a week, a week, and then if you die,
no no, no, no, it's not gonna die. But give
it a week because that'll be about the shipping time.
If it takes. Somebody wants it. You don't do a
month you're not going to wait a month to ship out.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Well there, I mean, if you can say last year, but.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
I'm saying for now. His demand is not so big.
He's not the Campbell soup company where you got to
put stuff on a shelf.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Ude, I'm aiming.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Okay, I'm done with you. I'm aiming for the world.
Just give me the can in a week, got it?
I guess I was not a can. Give me the
jar and a wish. I'm so stupid. Okay, thank you.
Voicemail anytime eight seven, seven seventy seven, Bobby, I want
to go to Oscar. Who is at the hospital now? Oscar? Hello, Hi, Bobby,
what's up? Buddy?
Speaker 15 (37:56):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Yeah, I tell everybody what's going on with you right now?
Speaker 16 (37:58):
But can I say Studio Martin?
Speaker 1 (38:01):
You sure can?
Speaker 16 (38:02):
Oh my god, that's what I so. I'm with my
wife right here next to me, and she's actively.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
In labor, and he's with us on the phone.
Speaker 17 (38:10):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Is she okay with you talking to us on the
phone while she's in labor?
Speaker 16 (38:14):
Yeah, I have you guys on secret. She's right here.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (38:18):
Last night she was just having migraine.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
I was monitoring her.
Speaker 16 (38:22):
It took her blood pressure, and then I was like, oh,
we should probably go to the hospital. And then on behold,
they're like, yeah, you're in labor. So now we're here
waiting for the baby, baby.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Jack to come. Are you in the actual room?
Speaker 16 (38:34):
Yes, we're in the actual room.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
She's all hooked up. We're waiting.
Speaker 16 (38:38):
She's hooked up to ivs and just waiting for the
time to come.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Now, do you guys do the old numbing needle?
Speaker 16 (38:44):
She not yet, she said she agrees to it, but
she's I think only two centimeters, So we're still waiting
on that.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Hey, I never thought I would know about cinimeter dilation.
I could probably do a pamphlet on my knowledge. What's
the number we're looking for? Well, we're looking for ten.
Oh gosh, we're kind of far away. Yeah, but man,
does it happen? I think it's ten. It's been four
months since this. But what do you, oscar, what's the
number you're waiting on? Oh?
Speaker 16 (39:10):
Yeah, times exactly. That's what they told us ten. So
we're just waiting on it.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
I used to say, man, I can't wait. How many
inches is she? And they're like, if she's inches, we're
in trouble. It's centimeters Okay, how does she feel right now? Fantastic?
All right, yeah, let's go okay, okay, so what are
your emotions right What is your name, by the way, Megan, Megan?
What are your emotions right now?
Speaker 13 (39:35):
I'm excited and nervous.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
Yeah, I'm gonna tell you.
Speaker 9 (39:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
The coolest thing was when the baby is put on
your chest. Like I saw my wife turn into a
completely different person that moment that the baby was laid
on her chest. And my wife had some difficulties with
the pregnancy because she was very, very very sick, not
just from being pregnant, but she has a pretty rare
autommune disease, and so she was bedridden for the first
(40:03):
few months pretty much. And I remember going, man, this
is really hard. And I remember her having the baby
on her chest and going, I would do this ten
times over because she I don't think she ever knew
because she never had a baby, and she didn't know
if it was gonna be worth it. I mean, all
she knows is she was sick the whole time, not
just vomit, but where and she was like, it is
(40:24):
so worth it that I would do it over and
over and over again. How's your pregnancy been for me.
Speaker 13 (40:30):
It's been super easy. So I can't relate to Caitlyn.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
Okay, I know that's great though, So did you ever
have in the first trimester? Like did like nausea or
just vomiting all the time?
Speaker 9 (40:41):
A zero?
Speaker 18 (40:42):
No morning sickness, wow, no craving and you're sure you're pregnant?
Speaker 13 (40:46):
Nothing for sure?
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Okay, I guess.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
I'll find out too. Okay. Any are they giving you
any timetable as to when they expect to deliver the
labor start happening.
Speaker 13 (40:59):
They said twenty four to forty eight hours, so I
still got some time.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
Okay, So what are you guys doing to kill the time?
Right now?
Speaker 18 (41:07):
I'm about taking that.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
Good for you? That sounds good. So here's what happened
in our delivery room. My wife's there, she's chilling, and
the couch terrible. They really should focus on making sure
that the partner is a little more comfortable. It was
a terrible couch. Thank you for having my back here.
And I brought an extra blanket from home and brought
(41:29):
an extra pillow because I was told. And I go
to sleep on the couch because why not. We're just
waiting and they wake me up and go yep y
up to ten, and I'm like, well, I was so
discombobulated I thought I might have been dreaming. I was like,
what right now? And so once it started happening, do
you guys have a playlist ready to go? No? You
(41:50):
got time? You have time? Get you like ten?
Speaker 11 (41:52):
I got plenty of time.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
Do you like ten songs that you just really like?
They don't even have to be that meaningful. But we
had songs? We had like a lot of and done.
I mean, I have the list here I can look up. Now.
Did you play it off your phone? Or do you
have a bluetooth speaker? We had a uh, pretty cheap
Arkansas razorback bluetooth speaker that I got from some sort
of free package. But it worked, and then we thought,
(42:15):
if it gets on, I don't know what was gonna happen.
So I thought, if it gets all gooey, then I
don't need anything anyway. Yeah, let me look at my
playlist here. Okay, I had oh this is around here,
counting Crows. I think I added that one myself. Yeah,
along December counting Crows. Yeah, that's probably all. Well those
are the top two. Yeah, I mean there's there's Neon
(42:37):
Moon Brooks and done, Red Dirt Road Brooks and done,
Rascal Flats, fast cars and freedom and nothing about you
Brooks and done my Maria Brooks and done, hard working
man Brooks and done, levitating, Dua lipa, good luck, Babe Chapel,
Roane Espresso, Sabrina Carpenter, but Daddy, I love them. Taylor Swift,
Guilty of Sin, Taylor Swift, Uh, switch footmant to Live.
(42:58):
I probably put that one in there, hooting in the
blow Prepatona. Well, so there's something I put on there
just from my own personally.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Do you remember what she came out to?
Speaker 1 (43:04):
Yeah, because we did it on purpose, right when it
was getting close. We had Neon Moon because that was
our it was on our first dance, but Ronnie Done
saying that at our wedding. We're very close with them
and so we had that playing when the back he
was born. Yeah, that's very exciting for you guys. You know,
I think everybody's experience is different, So I don't want
to tell you what to expect because I don't know.
(43:24):
I just have one. But the thing that I think
I remember mostly from it is once all the action
happens and the drama and it's going to be scary,
and Oscar, man, you got to be there. This is
this is she. It ain't gonna feel good, so you
got to be there and be her rock. And it
is so worth it regard. But you had a pretty
(43:45):
easy preference. Yeah, so yeah, but that's really cool. Congrat
well almost congratulations. I'm so excited for you guys, and
thank you for calling me. Thank you. And so they
think any this.
Speaker 18 (43:56):
Is going to be happening at anytime, Yeah, pretty much
twenty four forty eight hours.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Once it hits like seven centimeters, you gotta get ready
because that's when the trash back That's when the trash
backs start coming. Oh really yeah yeah, no, seriously, you
have they start putting trash backs out because it's whoa gooey,
you know what I mean. Uh yeah, Hey, after you
guys get settled, would you guys call us back and
(44:20):
let us know how it went. Yeah, of course, all right,
Oscar and Meghan and we're waiting on baby Jack.
Speaker 13 (44:26):
Yeah yeah, baby Jack.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
Why'd you go with Jack? Because I like the name.
Speaker 16 (44:30):
We're a big New Jersey Devils fan and we came
up with the name based off Jack Hughes, the golden
goal scorer for a tv Usday.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
And by we Oscar, Yeah, Oscar and the fine we.
Speaker 16 (44:46):
Oscar me mostly, but I got her into hockey. I'm
in the Navy, so when we got together, when I
met her, I got her into hockey. And then that
kind of like brought me back to home and we've
just been following hockey ever since.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
Rooting for you guys. This is so exciting. After you
get back home. Oh, Oscar, here's the advice I'll give
you from it just happening. You're not needed by the
baby very much. You won't be, so don't have an
expectation that this baby and you are gonna bond immediately.
Because the baby needs Meghan and that's it. And baby
can't see really more than six eight inches for a
(45:20):
long time. You just be there for Meghan because she's
gonna need you a lot. So your job is to
be there for Megan. Meghan's job is to be there
for Jack. And eventually it all starts to kind of
come out with the wash. But the first bit, that's it.
You focus on your wife because she's gonna need you
in a lot of ways. Perfect, all right, guys, call
us whenever you're settled back at home. Okay, we'll do
(45:41):
all right, Good luck.
Speaker 13 (45:42):
Guys, Bye bye, thank you bye.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
I'd mentioned that I bought season tickets to the Akron
Zips football season. I've never been to an acron Zips game,
but they said, if you buy season tickets, they're gonna
draw a season ticket holder and they get to call
plays for an entire series of a game. And I
thought I'd be awesome. Want to put the headset on,
go on the field, random drawing. But I have season
tickets and so Ray, you can put line one on.
(46:11):
I also said, if there was a college football team
that would have let me go down and call plays
for a whole series, headset on, I donate ten thousand
dollars to the charity of their choice or their foundation.
Like if I'm on the field game day, I got
their headset on. Maybe I give the team like a
speech or something. Yeah, to me, that's exciting. Now we
have Jared on. Hey Jared, you're in Norman University of Oklahoma. Yes, sir, okay,
(46:35):
are you like that general manager? Well, what's your role there?
Speaker 15 (46:38):
Yes, sir, general manager for Oklahoma Women's basketball.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
Okay, So what would you like to say about what
I was talking about?
Speaker 15 (46:46):
Man, I think it's awesome. Nearly made myself buy some
Acron football tickets so I could have that opportunity too.
But no, we'd love to invite you down to Norman.
Get you down here for a game, be a guest coach.
Let's you tall a couple of sets.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
Maybe who knows, talk to the team, do the.
Speaker 15 (47:05):
Pregame, shoot around, all the things. It's a fun game
day environment with Bobby bones.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
Interesting. Interesting anyway?
Speaker 11 (47:11):
Is there a headset in basketball?
Speaker 1 (47:14):
There's not? This, so this is a different animal. I know,
So this is a different animal. Here I a headset.
It's peak. Oh Can I wear a headset though? Even
if it's not needed? Could I just wear one? To
wear one? Yeah? And I understand.
Speaker 15 (47:31):
I know you're an Arkansas guy and conference rival, conference foe,
but we can do a non conference game to make
sure there's no uh bad blood, no crosses tide.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
My family are all die hard sooners, though, like there's
more sooner in my house and in my family than
there is razorback, which is hard for me to deal with.
My wife diehard sooner, her parents diehard Sooner. Everything about
my life except for what I bring in, is very
Oklahoma Sooner. I know the Oklahoma Sooner fight song, and
I mean to It's just played all the time. My
(48:03):
uh brother in law's mom is Patty Gasso, who coaches
softball at University Vote. I have too much Oklahoma in
my life, but I don't hate them, and I think
this is very interesting to me. Now you're telling me
I can be Mmm okay. I would do five thousand
dollars for women's basketball to whatever organization they wanted. And
(48:23):
I wonder what I could because I need to have
some like something I'm in charge of though, you know,
like during the game, like what Jared, what could I
do that could be actually be in charge of? Because
I want the ability to either win the game or
lose the game.
Speaker 15 (48:38):
I have to run that my coach, Jenny. That's a
little bit over my pay grade, but I'm sure we
can find something for you.
Speaker 1 (48:43):
Man.
Speaker 15 (48:43):
It could be down here.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
Would be a good time, non conference completely Yeah. Maybe
it's just like h call.
Speaker 6 (48:51):
The time outs, you get to argue with the ref something.
I get one good you get one good tech?
Speaker 2 (48:55):
Oh good tech.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
He don't even as the coach yet and he's already
inviting you. He's a general just genter man. He's running
the operation. He's got a for sure run by the coach.
I'm interested if I can have some real responsibility in
the game. Is that even allowed? Jared? Like that I
get some sort of responsibility in game? I mean, yeah, sure,
why not? What are even the roles sounds?
Speaker 8 (49:14):
He doesn't care?
Speaker 1 (49:15):
Yeah, okay, so this is what we're gonna do here.
I trust are you really a GM because if I
give him myself phone number and you're just a caller
that Jared that tricked me, then I'm really gonna have
one put over.
Speaker 15 (49:25):
No, man, I'm really at the GM. I just I
hit you in the Instagram dms too, so you want
to look there and verify it all?
Speaker 1 (49:31):
Good man, I'll go there then and I'll respond to you.
This is something I'm interested in. I'm really trying to
get my feet wet in the coaching profession. I can see. So, yeah, Jared,
I'm gonna hit you up on Instagram. I think we
should work something out and I go and you know,
sit on the bench for a game. I have one small,
one small job. I'm looking at him Oh, Jared's like
a normal good looking dude.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
He's legit.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
Yeah, he's got a little red tie on. I'm sold
you are a tie. I'm sold. Okay, Jared, I'm gonna
find you on Instagram. I think I want to come
out for a day assistant Oklahoma woman's basketball coach. That
sounds fine. Come on, man, let's do it, all right,
I'll hit you up.
Speaker 15 (50:04):
Thank you for the call, all right, yes, a right,
see buddy.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
All right, Nicole is on. Now we're talking me trying
to be a coach and Nicole, what's going on?
Speaker 13 (50:13):
Hey, Bobby, how are you doing pretty good?
Speaker 1 (50:15):
What can I do for you?
Speaker 17 (50:16):
Well, so we heard that you were wanting to be.
Speaker 13 (50:18):
A coach for a game, and I talked to our
head coach. We are a small program in war trist Tennessee,
outside of Chebyville, and every year we have a big
game that's called the Battle of Bedford, Bedford County.
Speaker 18 (50:34):
It's between us and the other school that's in Bedford County.
And he said he would let you call the entire game.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Okay, they don't care.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
I don't even know what the real schools like. They
may be just doing this whole day, just to get
some money out of me. That's that could be so
much fun.
Speaker 11 (50:57):
The coach is like, sweet, I got a date.
Speaker 2 (50:59):
I don't have it.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
Okay, the siege of Bedford Castle. No, that's England. I
tried to look this up real quick. So are you?
Are you high school? At college?
Speaker 13 (51:10):
Or high school? Oh?
Speaker 5 (51:14):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
I don't want to call the wrong blanket a high
school get hurt because I would.
Speaker 13 (51:19):
You know, it could be around Okay.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
So, man, that is such a generous offer, and that
would be hilarious. But I can't. I can't. I can't
do high school. Too much risk, too much risk underage.
I don't parents. I got parents involved. Yes, I don't
want the parents yet. I so appreciate that offer. So
I don't want you to take this as me not
a pre because that's so fun. That's so fun, and
(51:44):
I think that would be I bring out my whole
coaching staff like, like me, what do you know we
go out there with. I have to say no because
I don't want to work with people under the age
of eighteen. I think that has to be my role. Nick,
that's so nice of you. I'm rooting for you guys. Now,
who's the school you play against. I'm root against them.
Speaker 18 (52:05):
So we are Cascade High School and we would be
playing against Community High School.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
Yeah, Cascade rules, Community rules. But Nicole, thank you so
much for the call. They're just under eighteen.
Speaker 13 (52:17):
I can't do it, Okay, I understand.
Speaker 1 (52:19):
Thank you. Thanks, Mike oh Man. Dustin's on in Kentucky. Dustin,
you're on the show. Hello, Hey, Bobby are you what's up? Buddy?
What can I do for you?
Speaker 15 (52:30):
A couple of things?
Speaker 10 (52:31):
Obviously, in this new era that we live in, I
was a huge Kentucky fan and would love to have
you come out and call some plays. But there's one
particular team that I feel like they should be reaching
out to you very rapidly here. And I feel like
Dabo Swingey No Clevesland Tigers should be calling you pretty
quick to get that curse off of them.
Speaker 1 (52:51):
Hey, Dustin, when I cursed them and I'm not kidding,
we cursed on the air because they stood us up
with an interview, amy, they've kind of sucked every since
since that curse. Now, I think it's the only reason. Yep,
yes you do. Yeah, because once week and Dustin is
right on, He's not even a Clemson Van and he
remembers this. We cursed him with chimes and everything. They
have been bad since that curse. Baby, They've been projected
(53:14):
to be good and they end.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
Up being better.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
There were people picking him win the national championship last
year and they not even close. And they played a
week conference the weaker of the Power four conferences. Dustin,
that is a great point. I don't think Dabo's gonna
be calling, you know why, because he didn't call the
first time when he said he was going to. Secondly,
when was that September of twenty twenty two. We put
the curse on him. But that is a great recall.
(53:38):
And hey, I think Kentucky's gonna be pretty good. I
think they'll be better this year with will Stein. I
think he's a really good coach. So rooting for you guys,
but I think Clemson. I'm right here. You know how
to reach me, dust I appreciate that, man.
Speaker 10 (53:51):
Yes, sir, you have a good one.
Speaker 1 (53:52):
All I see you, buddy, all this because I want.
I bought season tickets to Akron to try to call
a series of plays. What if I'm coaching like ten
teams this year? Be awesome. Bobby bone Show Bonehead sorry today.
Speaker 6 (54:06):
This story comes us from Boston, Massachusetts.
Speaker 8 (54:09):
A man went to the movie theater, don't know what
he went to see.
Speaker 6 (54:12):
It was an IMAX, and he had an altercation with
an employee who.
Speaker 8 (54:16):
Thought he was under the influence. They asked him to
leave the theater. He said, if I can't watch the movie,
no one will.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
Oh no.
Speaker 8 (54:23):
So he went around the corner called in a bomb threat.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
I bet it was Odyssey. I would guess, yeah, anytime
they do that, if I can't, no one can, it's
a bomb Oh no, I was or I've had like
stalker incidents where it's like if I can't be with him,
nobody can. Like in the early days especially that that's
just dangerous. I thought he's gonna be I dont know
he's gonna bomb threat.
Speaker 4 (54:46):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know why I think bomb
I think like he's There's been some boneheads where they
have that attitude and someone's getting on a plane, so
they call in a bomb threat.
Speaker 3 (54:55):
It's like, if I can't get on the flight, nobody can.
Speaker 6 (54:57):
All right, I'm lunch box. That's your bonehead story the day,
All right, voicemail.
Speaker 17 (55:02):
One good morning studio. I was just calling to see
if Bobby is still going to be a Carolina Panthers
fan this year or if he is changing teams because
they play Thursday for the Hall of Fame Game. So
I was just curious. Thanks, have a great day.
Speaker 9 (55:18):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (55:19):
Tonight's the first preseason game, I think.
Speaker 2 (55:23):
So you can't change your life now.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
I've I've been a Carolina Panther fan my whole life,
just last year. But here's the thing, I might root
for the Cowboys this year. Let's go. Okay, yes, I've
never rooted for the Cowboys never. I've never been a hater.
And Jerry Jones so nice to me. Eastern Arkansas played
on the Arkansas National championship team. I don't know. It's
(55:46):
I've been a Panther fan for life, so it's gonna
be hard to not keep pounding.
Speaker 2 (55:49):
But hey, we're welcoming you with open arms over here.
You want to join the Cowboy group, let's go.
Speaker 4 (55:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:55):
I don't know. Now he's doing that and that feels
an actions.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
What do you mean you can be a Cowboys fan?
It's I mean, it's not great, but are they supposed.
Speaker 3 (56:02):
To be better this year? Are you're just looking for devastation?
Speaker 2 (56:06):
I think this is our year.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
Devastation happens where I go.
Speaker 11 (56:10):
Right.
Speaker 1 (56:10):
Yeah, that's it. Thank you so much for listening. We
will see you tomorrow. Bye everybody. The five the Bone Show,
