Speaker 1 (00:01):
Transmitting Welcome to Tuesday show more than studio.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
So this Woean's dog died, and then she mixed the
ashes into her eyeliner tattoo ink and then tattooed her
eye with the dog's ashes an eye liner ink. And
then that's weird.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Huh Yeah, how did they figure out if that's safe
for the skin?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
I don't know about the figuring, and I think you
should mourn. However, you're not hurting anybody by doing this.
It just was weird, weird. It's not illegal, but yeah.
Claire Hobson is a makeup artist and she lost her
dog after twenty years together. Decided she wasn't ready to
let him go, so she just tattooed his ashes with
her permanent eyeliner into her eyes. That's cool, she's a
tattoo artist. Oh, she's a makeup artist. He could still
(00:53):
see the world through her eyes. Oh that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
That's weird.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Quote turned you. That's from Oddity Central. Listen. I know
what it's like. I dedicated my entire second book to
my dog. In the very beginning, it's like, I dedicate
this to my dog Stanley, who doesn't know what a
dedication is you'll never something I have right here? Which
one is it? This one? The second one?
Speaker 4 (01:18):
That one?
Speaker 3 (01:18):
That one?
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:19):
Oh props man, you dedicated that to Stanley or Dusty Dusty? Okay,
Stanley got a book already.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Stanley got his own kid's book. Dusty got a dedication
to my second book. So yeah, there's that one. There's
another thing happening where drivers at this one gas station
apparently their cars are all breaking down because the gas
was contaminated. Oh no, I saw this in Houston. Yes,
a tank of gas ended up costing several Spring Branch
drivers thousands of dollars in vehicle repairs. One person specifically
(01:52):
drove off and car broke down six thousand dollars in repairs.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Oh my, so they the gas station that right right now?
Speaker 2 (02:01):
I don't see an answer to this. Roughly a dozen
customers who filled up at a circle k in Antwine
say contaminated fuel damage their vehicles. Jack just finished an
uber shift when he stopped to put twelve dollars worth
of gas in his car. Like, got about half a
mile down and my car died. They went in six
thousand dollars he owes, Oh, contaminated with what water? Yep,
(02:25):
click to Houston is that source? But yeap, that is sucky. Yeah,
somebody has to pay for that, right. Yeahbody, did you
see the story of and I'm gonna just go from
my brain here, there was a story of a company
they sent out a package that someone had ordered via
I believe FedEx. It was stolen from FedEx, like the
(02:46):
driver stole it, and the company's like, we're we're not
to give you another one. FedEx is the one who
stole it. We didn't mess up, FedEx did it. So
they're all mad at the company because the company won't
replace this really expensive thing, even though FedEx is the
one who I think it's been proven their person stole it.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, so FedEx is the one that needs.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
If it's FedEx, it's one of the companies inserting FedEx.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
So the delivery company who is at fault.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
But if it's like we're never going to that company
again because they won't replace, come nothing to do with it?
Am I crazy?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Uh? No? I think that if you they know it's
the shipping company, then that seems pretty black and white
to me. But also, do you all ever click that
button where you pay like extra dollar fifty for shipping protection.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Oh no, no, I know.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
I clicks it for you.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
It's free right click the lightning vault on Uber eats.
I'm really hungry, so don't. I don't do that one.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Okay, Well, sometimes I've seen it lately where it clicks
it for me because they're trying. It's a way to
add on a dollar fifty to your thing, And then
I go in and I unclick it, and then I'm like, okay,
it's a dollar fifty, Like do I should? I just
protect my package? But for whatever reason, I get annoyed
every time and I unclick it because I'm like, you're
not charging me a dollar fifty for that that, but
(03:57):
it would protect the package.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
And as we know as guys, always protect your back
always rule number one. I tucked into AI to see
what the dedication of my book was. Hey, I suck sometimes,
it says Bobby Bones dedicated his book fail until you
don't forgive yourself, see the beauty and live the life
you always imagined to his beloved pitbull terrier Dusty. That's
not the name of my book. Yeah, it got the
(04:22):
words mixed up. It's fail until you don't. That's the
name of the book. And then the suburbs fight, grind, repeat.
This says, forgive yourself, see the beauty, and live the
life you've always imagined. Have you ever thought that the world?
The bittersweet dedication reads to my dog, Dusty. Sadly you'll
never get to read this, mostly because you didn't know
(04:44):
how to read. You were a dog. Rest in peace, buddy.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
That sounds accurate.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, Bones has noted that Dusty passed away as who's
finishing the book, and was the only living creature he
had ever told he loved prior to that point in
his life. The dedication was his way of honoring the
dog to help teach him how to love. Oh that's
pretty good, but it's definitely not called to see the
beauty and live the life you always imagined. I don't
even hear you sayings now. Those words aren't in my vernacular.
Twenty years you guys want to say goodbye to something?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yeah, because this first? Can we know what it is
so that we can properly agree?
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I think it's already.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
I mean, I know you're gonna tell us, but can
we save it?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
No, let's do it now. You can't save it, RAYMONDO.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
The murdered out.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
Trailblazer has been on the show, talked about since I
started on the show.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
It's in the shop and I think it's done, so
it's lived multiple lives. Like I paid at one point
for it to be like reborn, you did, Chase Matthew
came in and redid it. The artist. Now it's dying.
It's dying of sad death. How many miles two hundred thousand. Yeah,
we finally made it to that milestone.
Speaker 7 (05:44):
But it was basically college, post Costa Rica, post college,
when I was single, when I was engaged, married west
Side downtown and now in the country.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Joe vober In it, yep, that as well. Oh you
guys are not moved by this.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
Huh wow.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
I mean, I mean I haven't seen it in a
long what's wrong with it?
Speaker 7 (06:06):
What isn't I mean, it's a gasket and axl, an
axel rod, a tire rod, an oil pan flexer.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
But those led lights on top still work right?
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Cool?
Speaker 7 (06:18):
Yeah, those are trying of lipstick on a pig. Honestly,
it's in bad shape. So right now it's sitting at
the dealership trying to figure out what I'm gonna do.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
What if a gas station is a fault?
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Have you been to the I was sorry to hear that, dude.
Thank you guys us know when it officially passes away,
I appreciate it. Okay, there was a basketball game last night.
It was the Spurs and the Knicks. Familiar, Yes, I
saw posts. Okay, good. NBA Finals is game three, Eddie.
Speaker 6 (06:48):
I think about your dead dad at this with this
because your first experience there was with him.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
No, because isn't it the first final since he died? Yeah?
Oh for sure? Do you think about that? And if
the Spurs win is for him?
Speaker 6 (07:01):
The only thing I think about is when we would
go to Spurs games because he bought season tickets and
then he got like a suite, but it was a
shared suite with like fifty other people, and he never
watched the game, like he would only go for my mom.
But once the finals hit, oh, he was all geared
out the whole season, didn't care at all.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
So I should care less about the Spurs winning for
your father to die and just know, hey, if that's
what takes no, no.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
No, no, his dad orchestrated it for his mom because
my mom is the diehard fan.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, okay, but you're convincing me even more to keep
rooting for the Knicks. No, no, no, no, no, no, I'm not.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Wait what why are you root for the Knicks?
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Very question. I am from a tortured fan base, two
of them. One the Arkansas Razorbacks. We have not won
a football national championship since nineteen sixty four. And not
only that, I'm beefing with them anyway right now. Secondly,
I'm a Chicago Cubs fan. We didn't win nineteen oh
eight until twenty sixteen, longest ever over eighty years. I
know what it's like to be tor. The Knicks have
(08:00):
not won in fifty years. So I have no allegiance
to New York at all. But I have allegiance to
fan bases who have suffered the Spurs of won multiple titles.
And so for me, I root for the Knicks only
because those fans are. They're in the desert, thirsty. Just
look at look up for a room clear drink water.
So that's why. Okay, it's I get tortured fan bases
(08:24):
because I live in them. So but I was watching
the game last night, the Spurs one. It was the
first game to win. I was thinking about Eddie big
Spurs fan. Also, his dad just died. Yeah, and I
was going, maybe I shouldn't root for the Necks. I
should root for the Spurs because Eddie's dad died. But
then Eddie doesn't his dad was just helping his mom.
My dad was doing it for my mom for sure.
But you love my mom. Yeah, and she did fall recently,
(08:46):
she did fall, and she's okay, Oh now we're back
to root.
Speaker 8 (08:51):
Yeah, yeah, okay, fine, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Do you see what I was thinking though?
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Yeah, I just feel like there's so many reasons for
you to root for the Spurs.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Right, all all your friends, yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
My friends, and I like, I'm even I want the
Spurs to win, but only because I grew up in like,
very very South Austin, so I was close to.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
San, very close. I feel closer generally to fans who
are tortured then I do any other than no clombust
Any Thunder because my father in law watches every game
every so I root for the Thunder. Yeah, but Spurs
probably the third team I root for tortured fan base Thunder,
then Nah Thunder, tortured fan base because my wife too
(09:33):
is a fan, and then the Spurs. But if Eddie's
dad doesn't care, and Eddie's mom is still healthy, then
that's what's up. So then we're back to square one.
Go next next, all right, voicemail.
Speaker 9 (09:47):
Love Amy, but she's a little bit of a hypocrite.
Whenever Morgan Wallen did his thing beat up the piano
and through the phone, she has to explain to her
kids or a kid, you know, so that's not the
right thing to do. Even though he's throwe chairs over
the balcony. It's like, obviously he's not an example for
a role model. But she goes to a Sabrina Carpenter
concert with her daughter. Does she sit down and be like, hey,
you don't you know, you don't go behind bed sheets
(10:08):
and do all then you know, And it's like almost
like obviously it's a performative thing. So a little hypocritical.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Oh, it's not hypocritical. I don't think that's part of
Morgan Wallen's choreograph set. Okay, at this point, I'm gonna
grab a phone and throw it. It's not part of
his art. He's having an emotional response to something he
doesn't like, and it's a little tantrum.
Speaker 8 (10:28):
That's not what was happening.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
At Sabrina Carpenter and obviously I covered my daughter's eyes.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
No, you did it, she's it was eighteen or seventeen.
But that's funny. You do make a good point, I would.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Agree, is yeah, No, Sabrina's thing was art.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
But Sabrina's thing was dirtier the one.
Speaker 8 (10:44):
Yeah, tell me about it. I was shocked by that too.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Sabina was doing shadow.
Speaker 8 (10:48):
But like, you know, you turn on Netflix these days, and.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Why do you say it like that memo Netflix, Netflix.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
I'm just saying it leads to conversation with your children
out like, hey, probably shouldn't let a guy video you
like that, because it wasn't just her, and like behind curtains.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
There was a guy video and then the yeah it
was the guy videoing as part of the concert experience.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Yes, but it looked as though no, no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Was it a cameraman, yes, okay, the cameraman or was
it set to be.
Speaker 8 (11:23):
Interesting question? Okay, now I can't remember. Now I can't remember.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
But it also led to like, you don't want, you know,
videos out there because joys are immature and you know,
let's not make tapes.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
But I'm wondering if it was the cameraman shooting the
concert or like a part of.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
If I had a better memory, I could tell you
right now, I'm gonna go with that. I think the
guy was videoing as part of the the guy that
she was with, but it could have been a camera guy.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Yeah, the Morgan thing, it's kind of blown up. Huh.
It's been everywhere.
Speaker 6 (12:03):
Yeah, But you don't think that's kind of his style,
like to act like he's frustrated and throw things.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
I don't know if it's a style. I think he's
like that. I don't know that that's a style.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
I would call it impulsivity. Yeah, lack of black guy,
Like he's just he has a thought and then he
just does it. There's no pause to reflect of should
I do this right now? It's reactionary. He's not responding
to the situation.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Okay, And this is like, this goes for everything he's done.
Chairs But I would also say, if I could just
respectfully counter sure all the things that his impulses have
controlled that we have no idea of because that came
for that doesn't know I'm saying that doesn't make the news.
All the times that he has had an impulse to
do something crazy and didn't do it and was able
(12:54):
to check himself and go, ah, I'm really working on myself.
I'm not going to do this.
Speaker 8 (13:00):
I guess.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
I don't know where he is. He's not drinking, he's
not so that's sober.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
From what I know, and I do know a bit. Yeah,
I don't feel like it's my liberty to share. I
do feel that he is doing great. Yeah, okay in
that respect.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Right, Yeah, I have no idea. That's what I wondered.
I wondered how much if there was alcohol involved in
those decisions. Obviously when he threw the chair, I think
there was.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
I believe there was.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
I believe just gonna because then when the video of
him in the podcast.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
I believe, but I believe there was.
Speaker 8 (13:36):
It was giving alcohol vibes.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Yeah, I didn't know if these stage incidents had any alcohol.
But if he is sober, then gosh, it could be
far worse.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
The Morgan Wallan stuff is so interesting to me because
he got upset at me whenever he got into first
trouble because I said, well, you can't cancel him. I
don't like canceling people. But he's got to go away
for a minute and to come back. But me just
saying he's got to go away for a minute, I
think upset the apple cart. But I still was exactly
right about what I said the day after. I was
(14:08):
the only one that will talk about it the day after,
and I said, yeah, bad news, you can't do it.
But also you can grow and bounce back. So you
got to go away for a minute, and we'll see
you soon. But don't cancel him. So I can, even
looking back now appreciate my nuanced view of that. So,
like he used to follow me on Instagram, he doesn't
follow me on Instagram anymore. But I have friends that
(14:30):
are very very very close, and in that camp, I
have a friend that walked. I have very very close
friends that are very very close, and so we're like
I wouldn't even say one step away, We're like a
quarter of a step away. But like, I don't care
that somebody in country music has a problem with me.
I gave that up years ago. But I'm rooting for him, Like,
(14:53):
I think he's genuinely, in his heart, a good guy.
I think he's had some demons and I think he's
battling back. So I'm rooting for him, and I think
right now, he's in a good place. That's why I
was so surprised to see not the piano thing, because
I've also been on stage and stuff's not working. You
know what I do? I just pulled. I just start
peeing in front of everybody. Was cool. I don't. Yeah,
that's but I can't get if something's not working. Technically
(15:15):
you push over a keyboard. The phone thing was weird,
I will admit. And had the person whose phone it
was not come out, my brain goes, oh, yeah that
was set up. That's just like virality, but it wasn't.
It wasn't.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Yeah, you would think for him if he was seeking
something he doesn't, well, he doesn't need that type of virality.
But then, but why would he seek something that also
has people questioning his decision making.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
But if you're not decision making in a bad way,
let him question all you want. It's like when people
people were They've always questioned me about are you gay?
And I'd be like and I'd be like, I don't know,
am I I have no problem with it? And before
I got married, that was the rumor. Like crazy people
would be sharing stories don't mean hooking up with dudes.
I'm not worked up with the dude, don't got a
problem with it, but I didn't like need that. But
(16:04):
I was like, yeah, I don't care. Let's let's let
people talk. Same thing. And the one time I did
make out with the dude for attention, it was Eddie.
It's not true. That's how I joined the show. He's
making that up. I think I really do. From what
I know, Morgan's in a really good place and so
that's what's up. The phone thing was weird, though, And
(16:27):
if you want to stay top of mind, even if
you are top of mind, you've got to do things
to stay top of mind. And I felt like that
would have been a pretty safe little stunt to pull
off to get people talking.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
But it wasn't.
Speaker 8 (16:38):
It was it was, yeah, I know, it wasn't. You're
saying it could have been.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
I would have been like a genius one that nobody
got hurt there, like is he crazy? And they're like, yeah,
we found an old life phone, we've chunked it and
now it's going viral.
Speaker 6 (16:50):
That'd be great. That's why I said, like, is this
part of his thing? Because it felt like that could
be part of his.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Thing, Like like how wrestlers have a whole routine, this
entertainment that this is all wrestling.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
All we're doing is wrestling. Like if I ran into
Tyler Hubbard, I'd be like what, But I don't mind Tyler.
I like Tyler. But if I saw BK somewhere, it
probably a little weird. But what are we gonna do?
It used to have been difficult me really nothing. It's
all wrestling. So yeah, I'm rooting for Morgan. I saw
(17:21):
I made a couple of Morgan like fan pages.
Speaker 8 (17:24):
Yesterday you started making them.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
I made a couple. Yeah, they were like sharing clips
of me talking on the show yesterday.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Oh oh, I thought you were saying you made like you.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
That's a great I should have said it differently. I
was featured on a couple of Morgan fan pages yesterday,
not purposefully, but I was like Justice from Morgan the
Pittsburgh Show. I do think he got advice. He followed
his advice. The phone thing is weird, but the piano thing,
who gives a crap broken piano? It's also funny. Now,
if there was like a bunny inside the piano and
he did that, people would be mad, and I would
(17:58):
understand that. But there was no living bunny inside the piano.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Yeah, I don't know. I just don't think it's funny.
Like if I was dating him, i'd be like, oh, I'd.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Be no, you wouldn't.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
You'd be like, ooh probably yet, but Amy, it's kind
of rock and roll what.
Speaker 8 (18:13):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (18:14):
No, I would be like, Hey, I want you to
make better decisions than that. If you're frustrated, let's breathe
this out. You don't need to flip the keyboard over.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
I think it's cool whatever. The keyboard thing I also
thought was kind of cool. Yeah, but also I did
feel like it exposed that it wasn't a piano, and
I had a real problem with that.
Speaker 8 (18:30):
Yeah, it's a faux piano.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Yeah. All this is wrestling, all of it. Yeah, every
little bit.
Speaker 5 (18:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
I mean I haven't lost sleep over it. Don't worry.
It's just when we talk about it, I'm sharing my thoughts.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
It's all wrestling, man. Okay, thank you for the voicemail.
Call us anytime eight seven seven seventy seven.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
Bobby Question.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Hello, Bobby Bones. I'm in charge of my best friend's
bachelor party, which should be exciting, but I'm afraid I've
betten off more than I can chew. Once his fiance
learned I was in charge, it's NonStop questions, demands. She
wants to see the list of activities, the guests. She's
even asked if she can do fine my phone, yeah,
(19:28):
which just is not gonna happen. I want to be
there for my friend, but this does not feel like
it's worth it. What would you do? What should I do?
Signed bachelor party under surveillance? Well, taking a look out
to the whole forest here. I feel bad for that
guy that's getting married to somebody who wants to beat
(19:49):
this controlling like that saw for the marriage. Yeah, because
you know what's happening inside those doors is the same thing.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
I am you're a woman.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
Yeah, I'm worried about this behavior. Seems a little controlling.
Something has either happened or before or in her current
relationship where there's some trust issues again, some control things happening.
So as a friend, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
No, No, you're right that that ain't your issue. It's
his cross to bear. However he wants to deal with
it if it's in his relationship, maybe he did it,
maybe he didn't. He's decided it's worth it to be
married to somebody with that personality trait as the friend. Nope,
you don't have to say it like that. You could say, hey,
(20:36):
I'm doing this for him. I don't feel comfortable sharing
all that with you, so I'm not going to And
if that's an issue, please talk about it with your
fiance and put it on him.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Yeah, because I'm thinking about if I was throwing a
bachelorette party for my friend and her fiance was doing
this to me like I would, I would have to
go to my girlfriend and be.
Speaker 8 (20:56):
Like, what is going on?
Speaker 2 (20:58):
He?
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Are you okay? He seems very yeah, Like are you
sure you want to, you know, sign up for this?
Because this isn't doesn't sound very healthy to me.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
So for you in this situation, you don't want to
cause any more problems. So what I would do is
put it on your buddy Doug room and go. I
don't feel comfortable giving you all that, but if he does,
that's fine. I'm just here to do this job. You
don't owe anything to her, but you also don't want
to get a fight with her leading up to the wedding.
So the easiest thing to do is go, if you
(21:31):
want all that you got to get it from X
y X.
Speaker 6 (21:35):
You bachelor parties kind of get a bad rap, right,
Like I think bad raps made bachelor parties get a
bad rap. I'm sure there were bad ones before, but
like the ones I've been to, like they've all been
pretty tamed. You know, there's no strippers, there's no like
everything that people think is gonna happen. So I don't
know what she's worried about unless she unless she knows
(21:57):
this guy, and like, oh, he's the one in charge
of it.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
I know this guy, I know how he is.
Speaker 6 (22:01):
Still not his problems not I would totally send it
back to dude, do you deal with it?
Speaker 2 (22:06):
That's just your fiance, not mine, lunchbox.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Oh, I would tell her no, I'm not going to
give you any of that information. Uh, this is for
the boys. And you can go to the Bachelor and
be like, look, man, this is what your fiance is
asking for. I'm not going to give it to her.
If you want to give that to her, then I'm
not going to play on the Bachelor party. That's all
on you. I'm my name's Ben. I'm not going to
be in it. I'm I'm I'm I'm getting a far
away as I can.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
What is there?
Speaker 5 (22:29):
You go?
Speaker 2 (22:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
My name's Bennett. I'm not in it, Like, I don't
want to deal.
Speaker 8 (22:32):
With that craping.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
I like talk to the hand. Yeah, her face, A
and B conversation. I don't care your.
Speaker 8 (22:39):
Way out of it?
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yeah, yeah, all right? Uh yeah, I feel weird.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Too many makes like a tree and leaf.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
The future, No, but back to the future, no tree,
yeah yeah, lead but yeah, Oh my god, why does
everything just get sidetracked? Truck and haul book? Thank you? Pleasin.
You go to a restaurant and there's a wait time.
What's the wait time you'll actually stay for?
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (23:05):
What's the cutoff for you?
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Anything over thirty minutes is hard.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
I was going to say about thirty five, And do
you feel they're always conservative, meaning if they say thirty five,
it's really going to be like twenty seven or twenty eight. Yes, yeah,
I feel like it's a little shorter as well. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
I feel like that's just smart thinking on their part
because you then you know you're doing your customers already
giving them a win early on, because you're like, oh wow,
it hasn't even been thirty minutes.
Speaker 8 (23:29):
Yet you're already calling my name.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
You go up forty five minute? Wait you stay?
Speaker 5 (23:34):
I mean.
Speaker 8 (23:36):
Probably it's going to be hard.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
I have to weigh the options of what other restaurants
are around me, how long is it gonna take me
to get to another restaurant, and then what's the way
going to be once I get there? Because if I
get to the next one in thirty minutes, so I've
already taken fifteen minutes of travel time.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Well, that explanation took about forty five minutes.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
I was walking you through my process.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
What do you got forty five minutes?
Speaker 3 (23:58):
I have to weigh my options or no, I'm gonna stay.
If there's not a place I can get.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
To, I'm not staying forty five minutes. No, I'll go home.
It doesn't matter about so you have no food at home? Okay,
Chili's okay, I'm sorry. Sometimes there's wait there, I'll go
get in my car and drive somewhere forty five minutes,
try to find somewhere else. I'll wait forty five minutes.
(24:25):
What's your time cut off? Oh, twenty twenty.
Speaker 6 (24:29):
I won't even do the thirty minutes with the kids
and all, like, there's no way we can wait that long.
But you're right, though, twenty minutes is the time they give.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
You, but usually it's like fifteen twenty is yours? Yeah,
I think mine's thirty five twenty. Amy gave us a
book Lusbox.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Mineus thirty five minutes because getting three kids back in
the car buckled up, Then where are we going to
go next? It's going to be easier just to stay
there wait. And usually fifteen twenty minutes they're calling your name,
you would have been still in the car trying to
get to another restaurant.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Thirty minutes. Is anyone waited an hour ever? No? Yeah,
at a restaurant, yes, but you have no bar seat
or anything like that, or no chips?
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Oh no chips, Yeah, no chips.
Speaker 8 (25:18):
I don't know. I know that I've done it.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
It's not one of my favorite things to do, but
I guess it just depends. Like if you've got a
bigger group and you didn't have a reservation.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
If you have a bigger group and you're the leader
and you didn't have reservation, that's on you. Yeah, you're
the bad leader of a group.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
No, But like I'm thinking, like in Austin, there's a
barbecue place, the saltlack. We would wait for a long time.
We'd go with our family and you would just wait.
But you can play like horseshoes and byob but you're
still waiting an hour or more to get a table.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
You're drunk when you get the table. Right Scam alert.
This is a good one because we didn't see this
one coming. The e bites. People are getting scammed in evites.
Oh no, he's like, oh, I gottavite it something, click
click on in next thing you know, Bam, they got you.
So the FDC is warning about fake evite phishing scams.
(26:14):
Anybody got this one?
Speaker 3 (26:15):
No, no that I know of.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Anybody going to any parties soon They don't realize they've been
scammed by well, now that you mention it, we didn't
have a party. The scammers are sending messages look like
they're from evite or paperless post. The invitation says you
in and you have to put in your credentials and
people are falling for it like crazy.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
So what do we do to make sure that it
is like? You know?
Speaker 2 (26:39):
The one thing that you can always do is go
to the sender of the email, right click it and
see what that address is, because sometimes it'll look so real,
but it'll be from four two nine to six dash
dash for three two at g ala la dot com. Right,
that's not real.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Well, I'm trying to think, like, even they're so real,
paperless post like that, you have an option, Like I'm
thinking I used that earlier this year for Caitlin's baby shower,
and some people I wasn't hearing back from because I
did it via text message, and I could see how
some people were like, I'm not clicking this link because.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
It's a text Morgan did it with her. I thought
it was a scam.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Well, but Morgan's wasn't. I literally this was paperless posts.
Morgan's is what like.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Six dah dah.
Speaker 8 (27:20):
Yeah, there's all kinds of them.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
Now it's the problem. There's I want to say, there's
like ten different evites that you can use, so they
could do any one of those to try and scam people. Yeah,
but I'm thinking if you do it via text message,
how do you if it.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Comes from like those three or four digits only, that's safe. Okay,
if it's a whole phone number like I get the
ups ones, Oh yeah, it's like you didn't sign for
this or the Robinhood win the lunchbotch fell for Do
you get that one too?
Speaker 5 (27:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (27:45):
It's tough man. When you get there, you're like ah.
And then when they say thank you, that's not what
they mean after you give them the password. Yep.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Do you think when you update your device that there's
anything fishy going on?
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Elaborate?
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Well, if you update your iPhone, do you think that
sometimes they're doing that to slow your phone down? Have
you ever updated your phone?
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Has it slowed down after you updated it?
Speaker 3 (28:09):
I mean I think sometimes I don't always go for
the latest phone, like I use my phone till it.
I just think normal wear and tear. My phone goes
downhill after that.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
It says most Americans believe updates are making their devices worse,
not better. I think some of that reason, though, is
the updates are the latest technology, and some of the
phones either don't have room for it or can't quite
they're tired run it to the level it should. But
also I believe at one point Apple lost a class
(28:40):
action lawsuit because they were they.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Had mixed like making your wasn't it making your battery weaker?
Or something?
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Make it? Which speaking of I gotta get a new
phone because mine is going slower. How old is your phone?
I don't know. A couple of days exactly, give me
that old. Apple agreed to pay a five hundred million
dollars settlement over claims that slowed down throttled older phones
via a software update. I will say, I just got
my phone this year, and as I started talking.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
About that I needed a new phone, all kinds of.
Speaker 8 (29:09):
Things started happening to my phone.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Coincidentally, I started falling apart, started acting slower, things stopped working,
and everything was fine up until I was like, I
need a new phone.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Trust no one.
Speaker 6 (29:20):
You know what's crazy. When you get a new phone.
The camera looks so good, the pictures are awesome, and
that same camera, after two years picture starts looking pretty
blurry and like not as Chris.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
But what is anything of what a lens? Yeah, even
a LENSI how does a lens wear in tear? You
hit it dropping on the table backward? I don't know.
I don't know that that's the answer. But I would
think anything after two years would have wear in tear regardless.
Speaker 6 (29:48):
I just didn't think the camera quality would go would
go downward.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Here's one more scam scamme alert, scamme alert, scammelert. There's
a guy in Kentucky. He was selling bourban. His name
is James. He would contact groups of bourbon lovers on
Facebook and then ship them high dollar bottles of their
favorite drink. And those people were getting water and apple juice.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Wait what not even a little bit of bourbon to
give it the smell or the taste.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
He says, they got bottles of water and apple juice instead?
Speaker 6 (30:21):
Was he trying to sell like a He was arrested
popular brand.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
He banked eighty six thousand dollars before being busted. Wow,
it worked for a while. WKYT Yeah a lot, eighty
six thousand. Do you gotta have not a return address
on that bro? He don't know where to come get
you from. Here's your question. A quarter of Americans, twenty
five percent say they'd smile if they were ever in
(30:45):
this situation. Fifty six percent say they wouldn't. It's not
really the big part of this, but a quarter of
Americans say they would smile if they were ever in
this situation. We're gonna play the game called never Gonna
get No, You're not gonna get it. You're never, never
gonna get it. Not just say you're not gonna get
(31:07):
never never never, never got it? All right, quarter of
Americans say they'd smile if they were ever in this situation.
I want to bring on George, who's listening to Texas. George,
I'm gonna ask you the question first. Now you'll get
to answer it. If you miss it, that's okay, you
have two more chances. But the question is a quarter
of Americans say they'd smile if they were ever in
(31:29):
this situation. Fifty six say no chance. But a quarter
of Americans say they would smile. George, what do you
think it is? Never gonna get it? In mug shot?
That is correct? Give the guy price. Oh wow, that
dude nailed it, nailed it right out of the box. George,
maybe run it. He just won. Twenty four percent of
(31:53):
Americans say they'd smile if they were ever getting a
mug shot. Fifty six percent say they would not. George,
you ever got a mug shot?
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Oh No, I haven't.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Okay, Well, good for you and you get a prime graduate.
Just like that, George. One of the few people that should.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
We share with our guesses just for kicks.
Speaker 5 (32:12):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
Yeah, be honest.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Mine was divorce.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
That's oh that's a good one. Yeah, that's a good one. Eddie.
Speaker 6 (32:21):
Mine is if a celeb crashed your wedding. But I
feel like everybody would well okay, Morgan, I.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Said, getting free food. But I'm like Eddie, I feel
like a lot more people.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Would smile than yes. Everyone, Hey, lunchbox, you're getting robbed.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Why would you smile?
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Smile if only twenty five percent keep on one fourth?
Why would you get smiled? Why just mind for gett robbed?
Speaker 4 (32:43):
Because maybe to make the robbers say, hey man, I'm
not gonna do anything to you. Just take my money.
It's okay.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Oh, yes, you're being kind.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
You're being kind. Like it's sort of like a mug shot,
you know what I mean. It's like, hey, you know,
it's a bad situation, but a little smile.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Okay, now's much. George, you're the winner. Man, you want
to double?
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Man?
Speaker 4 (33:00):
I appreciate it. Thank Joe.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
Do you want to go double or nothing on another one?
Speaker 5 (33:04):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (33:05):
No, but you lose. If you lose though, that's your name.
I okay, good, Just keep all right. We'll get Georgia
a big package prizes. The areas George.
Speaker 10 (33:15):
Everybody, all right, boysmail, Have you guys, any of you
ever done watch cheating whenever you and your partner were
supposed to watch something together and if they fell asleep
and you kept watching.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Do you guys do that if that's considered watch cheating, yes,
because I acted like I didn't know she fell asleep.
I've never watched something that my wife and I were
watching together secretly and then watched it again with her,
So I've never done that. But I know at times
she's fallen asleep, and then I just played dumb like
(33:53):
I can't see her eyes. She's in the bed looking
toward the television. I'm behind her. I can't see her eyes.
Shame on you. Man, No, I can't say what do
I cheating? So if that yes, if that's the case,
not much. But man, if she follows us, like, with
ten minutes left in the show, you gotta finish what
am I supposed to do?
Speaker 3 (34:07):
Yeah? Finish it?
Speaker 2 (34:08):
Then?
Speaker 5 (34:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
If it's thirty minutes left in an hour long show,
I'm gonna go ahead and I'm going to stop the
show because I want to watch it all back. But
if there's ten minutes, twelve minutes, anything, below fifteen. If
we're less than a quarter hour, I'm still going to
finish it. I think that's where I stand. Amy.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
You really good plan, Yes, but it's I'm in a
situation where when my latest really ship, I had a boyfriend,
we had our own lives a little bit, so we
would start a show together and then it would take
us like six weeks to finish something, so I would
just have to go for it.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
Would you cheat or would you say, hey, I'm going
to go ahead and watch this.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
No, I mean I just went ahead and watched it,
and then it would come up and I'd be like, oh, well,
was I supposed to wait?
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Because good one?
Speaker 6 (34:52):
We both of you guys played dumb good ones.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
I totally am over that one because chas.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
Like I have to well, I have just stay current
for work. That one, you know, Tuesday Revieesday.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
You ever hit any thing with either your ex husband
or any of your boyfriends, Well, well you had that
little young one. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
But where.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Where you decide the show is not for one of
you but the other one just gets to keep going. Yeah, yeah,
we do that sometimes. Where the one that was on
Amazon where Baby Billy plays the video game character it's
called kaboom or something fall out, fall out. My wife's like,
I'm good. We watched a whole season and a half
and she's like, eh, you can finish. You got permission
(35:38):
to cheat on that one. It was an open It
was an open relationship without her. Yeah, yeah, that was
an open one. Yeah, so those are common on you
ever cheat on your wife with the shows?
Speaker 6 (35:52):
Nope, I've gotten cheated on many times that yeah, dude,
it does suck.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
And like I.
Speaker 6 (35:57):
Remember the big one was Parenthood. Oh and how many
seasons those Parenthood left like a lot of seasons and
we made it to the last season and she cheated
on the last three episodes. I'm like, that is messed up.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
I was so mad. That's messed up.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
Sure, well, so what was up? Like you kept falling asleep.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
Or I'm always the one that falls that's on you? Then, yeah,
I checked my mind. That's on you, that's on you,
that's on you. Uh yeah, call us anytime. Eight seven,
seven seventy seven, Bobby hit us up for anything, including
tea for the record. TV show cheating, right, everybody just
heat Yeah, yeah, TV show cheating. I'm gonna share with
you guys. Mid giving Tuesday. The reason I do this
(36:35):
is because I did not like to go into comments,
did not like to go into my DMS because it
was all just angry. So on Tuesday the only day
I would go in. And so then I thought, instead
of getting angry at everybody, let me just see what
I can help people do. It's simply to counter how
triggered I would get from people yelling at me at DMS,
and so I just started like seeing people's Venmos and
helping them out. I got three this week.
Speaker 4 (36:55):
You're ready?
Speaker 2 (36:55):
Yea, yeah. I don't want to give every personal detail
in case they don't want it known. The first person
let's call her Amber because that's her name. She is
doing student loans. She has a student loan that needs
paid off. I paid off about a quarter by student loan. Wow,
not all of it, but I've been motor because she
(37:16):
put her Venmo there and paid off at a quarterby
student alone. Hey dude, it's nice. I don't want to
say too much about her, but she Yeah, what's easiest
when someone gives me like an easy paragraph, it's so easy.
I just want to read a few lines, know what's up?
See a Venmo pop up help it move on? Yeah,
shortened to the point. Yeah. Sometimes people will send like
ten pages tld R immediately do it? Do it too long? Dr?
(37:46):
Too long? Didn't read it? Okay, you ever see that
on the internet TLDR. No, that's too long. Didn't read
the next one. I don't mind this one so much.
My husband and I own a small cleaning business, and
two years ago we stepped into help care for my
two nieces during a very difficult time. To bring them
some joy, we took them to Disney. They're eight and
(38:06):
twelve years old. The situation is improving, we're planning a trip.
Blah blah blah blah. We have the trip mostly paid for.
We're looking to go to this place and we could
use some help. So I bought them tickets to this
other place.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Cool Nintendo World. Yeah, I've heard of that.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Fun.
Speaker 5 (38:23):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Well that's amazing.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
I mean, listen, I mean great for these people taking
the kids in. But if you can't afford to go places,
don't go.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
They were already going, and now they wanted to go
to Nintendo World. So I borrom tickets in Nintendo World.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
And now you have enough money to go to Disney World.
Speaker 6 (38:40):
Then they're okay, well, maybe they're broke after Disney World.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
And they didn't have make it to Nintendo World, so
that helped them go to the Nintendo World.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Wait, why are you being like.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
You know, what I'm saying is it's nice and bobby
to do that. But as the adults of this situation,
if you don't have money to take a trip to
go to Nintendo World, guess what, don't go.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
They weren't going to go. They were going to Disney
and not a Nintendo World.
Speaker 4 (39:04):
Okay, exactly, they're already going to Disney. That's that means
they have plenty of money. If they're going to Disney
that costs ten thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
They did have money to go to Disney, but they
didn't have money to go to the Nintendo World. And
now they're.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Guess what, my kids can go? Aren't going to Disney
because we can't afford it?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Well, you can't afford it?
Speaker 8 (39:23):
Yeah, I'm because you didn't get that as a kid.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
That's what you said you could go. But since you
didn't go, they're not going, right.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
But guess what, my kids want to go to a
steakhouse downtwntown if it's too expensive. Don't go go somewhere else,
go to the swimming pool. I mean, it's not hard house.
The fact that you're getting roped into giving people stuff.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
That they didn't get roped into anything.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
Yeah, it's very easy.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
I thought, I'm last year in the rope.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Throw the rope.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
It's like, I want to go into my DMS and
do some good things so that I don't just focus
on all the negatives in my DMS.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
My association with the DMS isn't all hatreds.
Speaker 4 (39:58):
Yeah, hold on, I mean, do you not agree with
me that if these people can't, like not every kid
gets to go to the Nintendo World, like do something
that's in your meeting, and they are, well, they're not
if they can't afford it, and they're asking through DM
for money they can't afford it, they shouldn't go.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
They're all going to Disney. They just want to go.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
On World.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
They can afford it.
Speaker 4 (40:22):
Now Yeah, now the America is gonna agree with me
on this one.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
Uh, you asked people to buy your groceries and you
did a whole lesson.
Speaker 4 (40:30):
Because teachers do it, so why not me? That's what
I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
It's crazy, makes sense okay, I'll do it the other one.
So this guy hit me up and said, hey, I
was looking at your tattoo on your arm of the
state of Arkansas. I've always wanted to stay tattoo of
some sort, but I can't afford. The biggest hurdle is
to get my wife to commit to the cost. Any
chance you can help, so I bought them a tattoo
(40:55):
that's definitely unique.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
So now, what of the wife is probably like, oh
my gosh, he was the one thing keeping him from
doing Probably she doesn't want it.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
Yeah, I feel like that one.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
That's funny. That's actually funny.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
He can't afford.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
They shouldn't get it.
Speaker 4 (41:09):
Now, that's actually funny because Bobby's doing it to get
at the wife like.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
Ha ha, to get at.
Speaker 5 (41:16):
That.
Speaker 4 (41:17):
That's great. How much a tattoo cost?
Speaker 2 (41:20):
A couple hundred dollars please finish? Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
Okay, I think we're uncovering something with him the last
couple of weeks. There's something with his childhood and the
kids getting things because he doesn't care that this adult
got something paid for. He cares that the kids get
to go to Nintendo.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
But I think we know why because when he was
a kid, right.
Speaker 8 (41:50):
Pool like cheaper than a tattoo.
Speaker 4 (41:52):
You guys are barking up the wrong tree. You're wrong
about my childhood. What I'm saying is no, we're not.
My parents couldn't afford to take me to France. So
guess what. We didn't go to France.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Yeah, okay, we're getting those people.
Speaker 4 (42:03):
Can't afford this, uh Nintendo World, so they shouldn't go.
You can find fun in stuff that is not extravagant
and expensive, and you had to beg people for money
to go to these outlandish places.
Speaker 3 (42:15):
I don't think they were begging. They Bobby's doing a
little segment and they submitted like that, by.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
That logic, if you can't afford it, don't do it. Ever,
I would have never got Christmas presents had the church
not brought up Christmas presents. And we couldn't afford Christmas presents,
so don't get it. So there were many years that
I just shouldn't have got any Christmas presents because.
Speaker 3 (42:32):
You know what, now that you have a daughter, she
shouldn't get it.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
Right because you didn't that logic. You know what she gets.
Speaker 3 (42:40):
You know, if she ever asked her to go to
a restaurant. You tell her, no, I.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Didn't get h I didn't get Christmas present. So so lunchbox.
Speaker 6 (42:48):
If you guys are so, Hey, if Bobby said, if
Bobby gave you money, said, hey, take your kids to Disney,
would you would.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
You take them?
Speaker 6 (42:57):
You can't afford it, you can't not afford it.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
But if Bobby be the money, would you take him? No?
Speaker 8 (43:02):
Okay, wow, Bobby give.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Him money, the money. Dude, offer him the money. He
won't take it.
Speaker 4 (43:07):
She just said, this trap.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
It's not trapped.
Speaker 5 (43:10):
I want to fall into.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
Wake up, Wake up in the morn and it's turning
radio and the Dodgers.
Speaker 11 (43:20):
He's on time.
Speaker 5 (43:23):
And ready in his lunchbox.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
More game too, steve red and it's trying to put
you through. Bog he's ridding his week's next bite, and
Bobby's on the box.
Speaker 5 (43:33):
So you knowing this.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
The Bobby ball right now? Time for the Morning Corny,
The Morning Corny.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
How does the tortilla chip sneeze?
Speaker 2 (43:52):
You might be offended? Probably goes like this is just
waiting into racism here, ready for it? All right, go ahead,
ask it back?
Speaker 3 (44:01):
How does the tortillo?
Speaker 2 (44:02):
How does the tortilla chip sneeze, not to not Okay,
that was the morning corny.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
Now, to be fair, I did see this little Hispanic
guy on TikTok telling.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Arm float.
Speaker 3 (44:21):
He's on waiting back in the next guy in your Algorithm.
Speaker 8 (44:25):
He his wife packs his lunch and.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
He has he's English is the second language, so he's
like sometimes he struggles with words, like of what she
puts the little little peeps in his lunch?
Speaker 8 (44:39):
He goes, oh, I got my little peepies. I watch
his videos every time they come up. They are so funny.
Speaker 3 (44:44):
And and she put a joke in his lunchbox the
other day and he told that and I.
Speaker 8 (44:48):
Thought it was funny. So I said it was a.
Speaker 3 (44:50):
Joke the morning Corner. Yeah, Morning corner, except for he
was like, you know, I be careful.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
Is so cute waiting? Then Tuesday reviewesday what you watch?
And was it good? I love the Punisher series, I
love the Marvel. John Burns though, was my favorite actors.
So it's basically a small like a short film. I
thought it was a full movie, but then I looked
it was only like fifty six minutes. Oh that's perfect,
and so they stopped making it. But then I watched
(45:19):
him just like whoops some butt and then it kind
of says, hey, we're gonna make it right. Yeah. It
was awesome for what it was. Yeah, it was a
short film. It wasn't a movie, and it wasn't an episode, right, Yeah,
basically just him killing people for like forty five minutes.
So if you love The Punisher, it's awesome. I'm gonna
give it four and a half out of five punishes
because if you love the Punisher, you will love it.
(45:41):
If you don't say away, it is John Wick type
stuff and that's all it is. But I'm going four
and a half out of five punishing situations about that.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
You anything, I haven't finished anything, yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
Eddie Man.
Speaker 6 (45:55):
So on HBO Max, they had the Yogurt Shot murders,
So this was released a couple of years ago. It's
the whole story of these four girls that were murdering
a yogurt shot back in the nineties in Austin, Texas.
Never found out who did it. Then they arrested people
because they thought that they did. They confessed that they
did it. Turns out that they weren't the ones that
did it.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (46:13):
There is an updated episode, just one episode that's updates
the whole thing. They found out who did it, and
it closes the whole thing up. It's probably about forty
minutes long. If you've seen the documentary, this is even better.
But if you haven't, like watched the whole thing, it's
all complete. Because I watched it the first time, and
I watched it all the way up to the end,
You're like, this is crazy, man, they still can't figure
(46:35):
out who did it.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
Now it's all closed up. What are you ready it? Oh?
Five out of five murder weapons five dud? Was that compelling?
Speaker 5 (46:44):
Oh? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (46:44):
Because I mean I worked the news too when the
first guys had gotten arrested, so I was in the
middle of all that and the fact that, like, there's
closure now.
Speaker 4 (46:53):
It's huge. So they told you how much money they
got right in that documentary?
Speaker 2 (46:58):
How much money? Who got the one guys we're wrong
with a convicted.
Speaker 6 (47:01):
Of Oh I don't know if they talked about that.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
Okay, how much money they go so.
Speaker 4 (47:05):
That we can say here they got like thirty million dollars.
So it was like a month ago.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Not enough. Let me look, it was like to split
or each great question, Morgan, did you watch anything?
Speaker 5 (47:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (47:18):
I did.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
I watched Office Romance on Netflix with j Lo and
Brett Goldstein. I don't know if I'm saying that right,
the guy from ted Lasso. Yeah, hilarious. I laughed so
hard during this movie, him being the writer on it.
Speaker 8 (47:30):
I just love his version of comedy.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
He's super funny, So I'd give it four out of
five kisses.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
He also was a writer on ted Lasso.
Speaker 6 (47:40):
Who is Goldstein the soccer player Greg Goldstein?
Speaker 5 (47:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (47:44):
Like who was he and Ted Las?
Speaker 5 (47:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (47:46):
He was like the loud or kind of bad attitude,
glumpy guy. Oh okay, okay, and he dated the blonde okay.
Speaker 6 (47:54):
Yeah, okay, Yeah, he has a comedy special too.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
I think she's so funny. Like he wasn't even up
for that role. He'd sent in his own tape for
it while he was writing on the show. That storyline.
Yeah yeah uh. And they supposedly dated, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
They had, And they did have really good chemistry during
the movie.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
Good promo, good promo. Watch watch you watch anything?
Speaker 5 (48:15):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (48:15):
Yeah I did? But you want me to give you
an update? It was thirty five million split by four people.
Not enough, not enough at all, not enough at all
because one guy spent a decade on death row and
he only got nine point eight million dollars.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
Yeah, not enough what he got.
Speaker 4 (48:30):
I got a Cinderella story. It's with Hillary Duff and
Morgan's boy Chad Michael Murray.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:40):
I got invited by a neighbor to the movies in
the park and that's what they were playing. And it
was so corny and so bad and so lame. I
give it one Cinderella Crown out.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
Of five lame ron tomatoes eleven percent.
Speaker 4 (48:54):
I mean it is so bad, but I mean.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
It's supposed to be corny and bad, right, it's Hillary
Duff as a kid.
Speaker 3 (49:00):
It was such a good movie when I came out.
Speaker 8 (49:02):
Yeah, was this like a kid thing too?
Speaker 2 (49:05):
Or you buy?
Speaker 3 (49:09):
You just said my neighbor invited me to the park
and sounds.
Speaker 2 (49:13):
Like that's a good point.
Speaker 8 (49:15):
You didn't say the family.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
That's Tuesday reviewesday. Eddie's church had to tell people to
stop flipping off people in the parking lot.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
Crazy.
Speaker 2 (49:26):
We had an announcement.
Speaker 6 (49:27):
It was an announcement at church, like, guys, we've gotten
some my word back that our parking lot attendant people
have gotten flipped off by some of y'all.
Speaker 4 (49:35):
Like what at church. That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (49:40):
It's so crazy that it's so prevalent they have to
make an announcement.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
Well, the construction and making it doesn't matter, it makes sense. No, No,
I don't think that that should be the behavior at all.
Speaker 8 (49:52):
I'm just saying, who.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Comes out of a sermon and flips anybody off right
that quickly? Unless they're getting to church?
Speaker 8 (49:58):
I think it's probably on the way.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
Sometimes getting the church is very stressful, everybody's rushing late.
But you don't you should have flipped anyone off in
the parking lot of church. Never, No, I wouldn't think
that's the place that you.
Speaker 5 (50:09):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (50:10):
Teenagers?
Speaker 2 (50:11):
No, they didn't.
Speaker 6 (50:12):
Specify, but they just said, guys, please just refrain from
doing this.
Speaker 8 (50:16):
Husbands like don't want to be there.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
That's a weird announcement. Also, just people who flip people
off is weird.
Speaker 3 (50:22):
Tell me about it.
Speaker 2 (50:24):
Anyone off amy get slipped off a lot as well?
Oh right, right right? But my thing is who who
goes to that. I don't do that movement. And even
if I did it before, I wouldn't just be funny.
Like if I were like upset at someone driving beside them,
I'd pull on my gun. I wouldn't do a whoa just.
Speaker 4 (50:42):
Kidding.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
That's how people do it is stupid. I don't I
want to do a bird that feels like nineteen eighties, but.
Speaker 11 (50:49):
It's so like it's crazy that a finger is so loud.
Who's flipped somebody off from their car before? Oh me,
you do your hand like that? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (50:59):
You don't, you like, you just do it like don't sorry,
I don't care if you do it.
Speaker 2 (51:04):
I just don't. I'm not even offended by it. It
just feels like something that you were doing while like
Hill Street Blues or Saint Elsewhere was on on TV.
You're not offended by it.
Speaker 6 (51:14):
If somebody does that to you in traffic.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
No, I don't know. The bird is kind of funny.
I don't know. It just feels dated.
Speaker 3 (51:22):
I'm just like, what's wrong with you? Well, no, Amy,
you're well no, I mean, I just feel you earned.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
The bird, so you're that's why you're like, what what's
wrong with you? But you don't realize your actions cause
the bird.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
Me, it just feels like somebody that was watching it
in the eighties, But you do it.
Speaker 4 (51:43):
Yeah, I do it like if someone like you know
what I mean, Like they start honking at you. If
you merge in or whatever, I'll just instead of waving
like let me in, I just do this.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Damn what people are doing that at church?
Speaker 6 (51:54):
That's crazy parking lot attendance.
Speaker 2 (51:57):
Yeah, which man think it there early volunteer their time.
So make an announcement right now and make it. Make an announcements.
Stopped flipping people off at church, especially at church. At church. Okay,
there was a basketball game last night. It was the
Spurs and the Knicks. Familiar, Yes, I saw posts. Okay,
good NBA Finals his game three, Eddie, I think about
(52:19):
your dad dad at this.
Speaker 6 (52:20):
With this, because your first experience there was with him. No,
because isn't it the first finals since he died?
Speaker 2 (52:27):
Yeah, for sure. Do you think about that? And if
the Spurs win, it's for him.
Speaker 6 (52:32):
The only thing I think about is when we would
go to Spurs games because he bought season tickets and
then he got like a suite, but it was a
shared suite with like fifty other people, and he never
watched the game, like he would only go for my mom.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
But once the finals.
Speaker 6 (52:47):
Hit, oh, he was all geared out the whole season,
didn't care at all.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
So I should care less about the Spurs winning for
your father to die and just know, hey, if that's
what takes, no, no.
Speaker 3 (52:59):
His dad orchestra it for his mom, because my mom
is the diehard fan.
Speaker 8 (53:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
Okay, but you're convincing me even more to keep rooting
for the Knicks. No, no, no, no, no, no, I'm not.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
Wait what why aren't you root for the Knicks?
Speaker 2 (53:10):
Very question. I am from a tortured fan base. Two
of them won the Arkansas Razorbacks. We have not won
a football national championship since nineteen sixty four. And not
only that, I'm beefing with them anyway right now. Secondly,
I'm a Chicago Cubs fan. We didn't win nineteen oh
eight until twenty sixteen, longest ever over eighty years. I
know what it's like to be tortured. The Knicks have
(53:31):
not won in fifty years. So I have no allegiance
to New York at all. But I have allegiance to
fan bases who have suffered the spurs of won multiple titles.
And so for me, I root for the Knicks only
because those fans are They're in the desert thirsty. Just
look at look up for a clear drink water so
that's why. Okay, it's I get tortured fan bases because
(53:55):
I live in them. So but I was watching the
game last night, the Spurs one the first came to win.
I was thinking about Eddie, big Spurs fan. Also, his
dad just died, and I was going, maybe I shouldn't
root for the next I should root for the Spurs
because Eddie's dad died. But then Eddie doesn't his dad
was just helping his mom.
Speaker 6 (54:11):
My dad was doing it for my mom for sure,
but you love my mom.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
Yeah, and she did fall recently, she did fall, and
she's okay, we're back to.
Speaker 8 (54:22):
Yeah, yeah, okay, fine, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (54:26):
Do you see what I was thinking though?
Speaker 3 (54:28):
Yeah? I just feel like there's so many reasons for
you to root for the Spurs, right, all all your friends, ye,
all my friends, and I like, I'm even I want
the Spurs to win. But only because I grew up
in like, very very South Austin, so I was close
to sit very close.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
I feel closer generally to fans who are tortured than
I do any other than no closest Eddy Thunder because
my father in law watches every game every so I
root for the Thunder. Yeah, but Spurs is probably the
third team I'd root for tortured fan base, Thunder, then Nah, Thunder,
tortured fan base because my wife too is a fan,
(55:05):
and then the Spurs. But if Eddie's dad doesn't care
and Eddie's mom is still healthy, and that's what's up,
So then we're back to square one. Go next, next, next,
Bobby bone Show, Sorry up today.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
This story comes us from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. A
forty six year old police detective was at the station
when someone cooked some fish in the breakroom and the
microwave heated it up, stunk up the whole breakroom. So
what did he do? He went in there and pulled
his gun and pointed at him said, don't be cooking
fish here again.
Speaker 2 (55:39):
Wow? Did he have a cook their starre again?
Speaker 4 (55:42):
He won't be there to find out because he was
arrested and fired from his job.
Speaker 2 (55:45):
Got it?
Speaker 4 (55:46):
Okay, right, I'm lunch box. That's your bonehead story of
the day.
Speaker 2 (55:50):
Do you know who Gavin Rostello is?
Speaker 8 (55:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (55:53):
Who?
Speaker 3 (55:54):
He was married to Gwen Stefani.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
That's truth for thirteen years.
Speaker 3 (55:59):
And he is in a and yeah, the the what
come on?
Speaker 5 (56:04):
No?
Speaker 3 (56:04):
Not the.
Speaker 8 (56:06):
Know that just one, give me a hit.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
What's the first letter of the band Bush?
Speaker 2 (56:13):
That's it?
Speaker 3 (56:13):
Yeah, the Bush?
Speaker 2 (56:14):
No, not the Bush in Australia. So I talked to
Gavin about the downside of being good looking because it's
funny because the dude, it's a Rocks, you're so hot,
and he was like, yeah, except for and so he's
on the Bobby Cast this week up on Netflix. Here
you go, let's go on the Bobby Bone Show. Now.
Speaker 3 (56:34):
Keavin Rossdale of Bush.
Speaker 2 (56:36):
What song hit first with fans? Where he started seeing
them sing it back?
Speaker 12 (56:42):
Everything's in the very first one, so then you won
song and then they didn't know the rest of it.
But we was on tour for so long at that point,
movie two years. Once that first hit, all the clubs
over and over and everywhere we went. This was such
a history of all the band after Everything's in?
Speaker 4 (56:58):
What next?
Speaker 12 (56:59):
That that record sixteen Stone just yielded a bunch of
singles that did really good and everything we you know,
you'd go and you go and sail and sell everything out,
and you'd bring a song out and it would do
well on the charge you had MTV. There was an
incredible confluence of MTV radio touring.
Speaker 2 (57:19):
Yeah, you were good. You still are, but like you
were a good looking dude on MTV. That had to
just work so much in your advantage, right, I mean,
because you were good. There are a lot of great bands.
Your guys were awesome. I was a massive fan. But
you're also hot, thank you. That didn't hurt, right, Well,
it doesn't hurt. Like everything it gets it can get.
It was also twisted in some ways against me in
(57:41):
some regards.
Speaker 12 (57:43):
Sometimes, well, you know, you do the cover of Spin
and like, don't hate him because he's beautiful. Really, you're
like sort of a bit embarrassing. So but I mean,
obviously if you're in show biz, you wanna.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
I never had that problem. I never had that problem.
Speaker 12 (57:57):
You're a very good looking man. I mean, I mean,
Brad Pitt has had an easy life because he's the
most handsome man in the world, isn't it. It's like
you wouldn't have been Brad without being that handsome. So,
I don't know, it's just part of it. People connect
with people they are they think have equal proportions or
however you describe people.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
As and British that works too, right.
Speaker 12 (58:19):
I love your accent.
Speaker 2 (58:20):
What accent did you guys have any bands that you
ran with in that time that all came together that
you ended up being really good friends with Coldplay?
Speaker 12 (58:26):
You know Chris. I love Chris and he went to
He just plays stadiums. So we just have a text
relationship now.
Speaker 2 (58:32):
But did you guys know each other way back in
the day, Christ.
Speaker 12 (58:35):
When we're both starting out, Yeah, to the not before
the bands had records, but as soon as we got introduced,
he's like the funniest, sweetest guy, really English, really dry.
So I really enjoyed his sense of humor. And when
we were both married to American girls, it was a
great sort of we could totally connect with our saying
(58:58):
a word, with the English culture by being English and
together and just hanging out. You know, there's something really
good about that. And so we stayed friends and he
obviously went stratospheric.
Speaker 2 (59:09):
Money Bones all right, check that out with Gavin Rossdale
