Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is the Bobby Ball Show, Amy, what do you
have over there?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
The first two deaths from the parasite have been reported.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
I saw the lattuce diarrhea.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah, so from the cyclosphorusus. Though I will say they
they had a pre existing condition, so they had it.
They they got the parasite, but they had some sort
of intestinal illness and dehydration and I don't know. I

(00:34):
just it's it's scary to think because I hadn't heard
much about it in the last week, so I thought
it was good and you say for getting better. Two
people reported dead in Michigan.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Michigan's like the epicenter of this. Yeah, my friend, the listeners,
they were all calling in from Michigan.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
And then my friend that had it here, she had
been in Michigan.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
My friend that had it as a cousin that lives
in Michigan.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Oh wow. So even they got.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
My other friend that had it, likes Eminem who's from Michigan.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
No, but it's Michigan Central. Like what I was like,
if you've had a call us of like the twelve
lines that we have, eight of them were from Michigan
and we had in Ohio. And then I think somebody's lying.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Since May, more than eighteen thousand cases have been reported
across forty five states, including eleven thousand of the eighteen
thousand in Michigan.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Mine is going to be the country dominates the Billboard
Hot one hundred for the first time ever. Top five. Now,
the Billboard Hot one hundred is all it's pop, especially
the pop chart, right, so any kind of music period.
I feel like this is a bit misleading. But as
far as the headline goes great. So country music has
the top five spots in the Billboard Hot one hundred
for the first time. Now, let's walk through, and this

(01:45):
is why I feel like it's a bit misleading. Number
one choosing Texas La Langley. That is a country song.
That is a country artist. That is for sure one
of the top five, no doubt about it. Number two
Morgan Wallen been By, Now that is for sure a
country artist and for sure a country song. Number three,
this is where I feel like it's a bit dicey.

(02:06):
Taylor Swift, I knew it, I knew you. It's from
toy Story.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Five.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Massive Movie is from Taylor Swift. Generally consort of pop
artists now and it's kind of country. They just decided
to go country with it. I would say it's not
really a country song. They just decided to put it
on country radio. Would you guys agree with that? Yes,
good song, but it easily could have been a top
forty song and no one would have thought anything about it.
And not only that, it's from Toy Story, which is well,
I guess what he's on there. He's a cowboy, Yeah, cowboy.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Jess as a cowgirl.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
So I don't feel like Taylor Swift making it counts
because she was gonna make it with anything, it doesn't
matter what she has. But okay, this is just me
picking around number four. I can't love you anymore. Ella
Langley and Morgan Wallen. Well, that's just the first two.
That's the first two people. So it's a country for sure,
but it's just the first two people just doing a
song together now. And then number five Stella Lefty Boston,

(02:58):
which is a country song, but that's a viral song,
so that is not because of country music. He so
many statians like refuse to play it for a long time.
We were playing it early, but mostly because Gary Lavauxhall
singing on a boat on his Instagram. I remember that
and he was like, oh, on a train, I had
to bust and I was like, this song was good,
so we started playing its way before I talked to her.

(03:20):
So I feel like this is a bit misleading of
a headline, but I will accept the headline because it
makes country music look good. But I feel like we
have two country artists, a viral song, a massive superstar,
and then the duet with the two country artists. But
we'll take it. And I hope people don't look at

(03:42):
it like I do because I'm not looking at it
through a hater's lens. I think the headline is awesome.
Don't even read don't even listen to this, but it's
it's interesting because the Taylor Swift song could have don't
anything she puts out. It's gonna hit, but it's a
good one. It's a good song that Ella Langley and
Morgan Wallin song. It's good. But it just these songs

(04:02):
move so fast. I don't even learned them. Fad No,
they're Abraham and Gone and so but yeah, I don't
even learn them really because they don't get overplayed. I like,
on their overplay, then I get to know them. So yeah,
that's what's up so good for country music Top five
for the first time, lunch Box, You're up.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
There was a Spider Man showing in Columbia, spider Man
Brand New Day, It's the New Spider Man movie, and
it had to be evacuated because someone kept ripping farts
in the theater.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
They canceled the movie because of farting.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
No, I guess someone was farting so much that people
are like, I can't sit here, and they all started
leaving because the.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Smell was so bad. Wow, in the middle of the movie.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Do you think that the person actually was sick at
their stomach or do you think that that was them
being funny.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
I think that's them being funny.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
I think they're like, oh, you know, I gotta and
let me see I mean, I can get out, or
they you know, they know something that makes them fart,
like broccoli maybe, and they were like, I'm gonna get
a bunch of brocoli and I'm gonna go do this
in the theater hilarious. Or did they just drop a
stink bomb and everybody thought it.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Was right, because I mean, all the sting bomb that
would be one constant, inconsistent it exists. And then everybody
goes whoa if it's like, oh that's bad, goes away,
Oh that's bad, and you're hearing oh that's bad, that's
a different So I don't know. I wasn't in the room,
but I'd bet it wasn't a sting bomb.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Yeah, but they said, oh, people were just pouring out
of the theater because the smell was so bad.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Can I fart stink up a whole theater? Like I
would think of section?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
But then it drafts like it moves like it's like
a cloud that a whole theater because like you smell
it over.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
There, and then all of a sudden, I hoped his
pants because that will.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Do it too. Well.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
That sucks. So I didn't get to see the end
of Spider Man.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Now I read it's the biggest opening of all time?
How did that happen from yesterday to today where it's
not the biggest of all time?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
The Sunday numbers were adjusted.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, that's the biggest single opening movie in the history
of movies? Did Spider Man brand New Day?

Speaker 3 (05:55):
How was honesty? Not? Like? I feel like that was
such a like a huge moneymaker and everyone want to
go see.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
It, And it absolutely was a huge money maker, and
everybody went to go see it, and it's probably top
fifteen or something.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Yeah, I mean he's in the top ten now and.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
It's it's gonna make a billion dollars and it's gonna
beat every expectation. But that also is not a brand
that everybody knows, loves and is familiar with.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
That's true.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
Yeah, Spider Man is adults, the kids.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Yes, all kinds. That's a good point.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Odyssey pretty much a new concept for a lot of people.
I didn't read it.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
I didn't read it.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I knew what it was. I didn't read it.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Shucking, I didn't read it.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
EDI yours.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Okay, So there's a guy in town who just got
arrested for the hundredth time for acting like his car
was broken down or he's out of guess and he
goes on the side of the road and wighs people down.
It's not true, but he's blocking the roadway, so they
arrest him over and over and over. I have seen
this guy three times.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
I would think if someone's doing that, he's showing people
his winger. He's not doing any like that.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
No, no, no, he's literally just asking for money.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Oh okay, So there is something else involved.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
He pulls over on the side of the road. And
I saw him when we first moved here, like twelve
years ago, thirteen years ago, and it was like, whoa,
this guy needs help. But then I realized I saw
him three days in a row the same spot, Like
that's weird. I know exactly what he looks like. I've
seen him. My wife has seen him, and my wife
has been like, we need to help that man. I said, no, no, no,
I know this dude. I've seen him so many times.

(07:26):
Don't stop. And then now I see him in the news.
But my question for you guys is one hundred times,
Like that's a lot of arrests. What do you do
about this? Like when does the message get told to
this guy like you can't do this.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
It won't because he would have unless they elevate the
penalty for what they're arresting him for.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yeah, because I went into the because there was a
link of like let's see this guy's rap sheet. So
I was like, deep, die, let me see this guy.
And the most he got was two years in prison,
but he got out on probation. Not for this, but
it's for some other kind of like aggravated robbery.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I'm surprised they don't keep him in longer, not for
the crime he's committing, but for the amount of times
he's done this.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
I've been arrested a lot of times, over and over
and over, so much that I've seen him in person,
Like he's.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Got to have something wrong, right, yep.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
I would think so. Or he's found a way or money,
or he's made a lot of money doing this it works.
And also he's realized, well, they're not doing much to me.
It's it's worth me going to jail for ninety days
for me to make enough money to live my life.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Sure, it's got to be some sort of a record.
Jail one hundred times.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
So he's been arrested, but he's had sixty five.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Convictions, or arrested one hundred times.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
One hundred arrest sixty five convictions.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
It looks like did you see that?

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Yeah? Yeah, So I'm not minimizing your story, I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
But what's crazy about him, though, is he's an old,
older man, so he looks like he needs help, like
it helps. It's not like a young guy who's just
kind of like, hey, he is an old man.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I say it looks like Kelsey Grammer is balding a
little bit. I had to pick a celebrity, and that's
a good one.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
But in the last twelve years since I've seen him,
he's gotten older and he hits all kinds of corners
in town, like all parts of town.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
The arrest for the most times being arrested is held
by Henry Earl of Lexington, Kentucky, who's been arrested over
fifteen hundred times. Wow, keep going, Henry. I just don't like,
how do you get out at some point, like you've
got to like just a nuisance to society, especially if
they're not crimes where people are being hurt, like physically hurt.

(09:44):
I mean, I'm gonna unless you have it ready, I'm
gonna read that story you sent me about the cartel.
Do you want to do it? You can if you
don't have it ready, I have it.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
That was a crazy one.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
What is the murder? Yeah, So there's this Mexican drug
lord and a beauty influencer. Okay, two different people. Okay,
the drug lord had the beauty influencer shot dead because
by a hit man during a live TikTok stream. Because

(10:13):
the beauty influencer broke up with her son.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
No with his son, the drug son.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Drug lord's a woman.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Oh I'm sexist, okay, I like depend that on me.
I'm sexist for assuming drug lords are men. I thought
it was a man.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
There is one big one. What cartel is that the the.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
CJ I pulled my drug back halfway through.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
The CJ n G cartel figure known as l R one,
that's her name, l R one. Authorities say the son,
Oh wait, wait, sorry, why did I think it was
a woman. They had like this picture of this crazy
drug lord woman in the headshot. But it's authority say

(10:58):
the son called his father to arrange the kill following
threats he'd made against her. L R One was captured
Thursday after a car chase, and is also accused of
ordering the assassination of a Mexican mayor. So he's busy. Sorry, Bobby,
you were right. He's a guy.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Okay, it's fair.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
I did joke.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
I was gonna make what she's in the Levovo cartel.
I didn't. I pulled it back. But now that it's
not a woman, yeah yeah, okay, so all that cartel.
Dude's got a son, son's dating a beauty influencer, she
breaks up with him. He waits till she goes lying

(11:36):
on TikTok and has it may kill her live on
camera on Now about.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
That, It's like everything's just easy to these these drug.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Lords they don't have I mean, look how beautiful the
scroll is.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Yeah, and the hitman yelled her name and what she
responded they knew was her bah.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
This is in Mexico, yeah, Amy, Amy, don't date any
drug lord kids in Ecuador.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Oh, while you're down there, any drug lord kids. So
I have a problem with a couple of things, drug
lord and kids, Like why would.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
In dating well, the drug lords, I would assume I
don't know sixty three And let's says a thirty eight
to forty four year old son, and you meet him.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
And any drug lords kids, okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
And you fall in love and all of a sudden
you're together and you're like, I met this guy, and
he's got a really good career. I'm not sure what
he does, but he's really smart. He got educated in America.
He drove a really nice car. That doesn't really matter
to me because I don't care. But we had a
really great time, had a fancy dinner and he's gonna
come up. But I'm thinking it's not gonna work out.
We google his dad. Oh no, it's Sir Choppy. Sir Choppy,

(12:44):
the Ecuadorian drug lord.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Yeah, I don't think that I'm gonna I don't think that.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I mean, I can totally see you with a drug lord.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
What No, because all that stuff. I can see Amy
now in this version of her as a drug lord.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Oh my what what version of me? Now?

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Maybe not lord but a drug lord. This is there.
You were shooting people. We just know that's what they do,
managing an empire. Yeah. I didn't watch it, but I
know what was about the show Weeds yea when she's
stilling drug Yeah. I feel like Amy would be a
really good high end narcotics seller.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Okay, thank you?

Speaker 3 (13:22):
You like that?

Speaker 1 (13:23):
I mean, no, but you're smart.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
I'll take it.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
You can be connected. You can also you need to
cut somebody, you will. You know, you've been through You've
been through some stuff, so it's not so hard for
you now to cut somebody, you know.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
So she wouldn't do it. She'd hire someone to do it,
like a real drug lord.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
But if you're hiring someone to do it. You're still your.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Leader of it.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Who was that? What was that documentary that we were
all watching a couple of years ago? Was she was
a cocaine queen?

Speaker 1 (13:50):
I dodn't watch that one?

Speaker 2 (13:51):
You didn't. I thought we talked about it into the brawls.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Oh, that wasn't a documentary that I watched.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Or maybe it was a series.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, maybe it was based on real like acting. Yeah,
I did see that.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
That was pretty good.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
If it was a show, I feel.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Like I don't know. It was cocaine princess, cocaine queen.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Yeah, she was hardcore, but she kind of had to
be hardcore, yeah, meaning she didn't Yeah, what's her nickname?
Saying white Griselda san and whiter Griselda, even wider Griselda.
Thank you say it in white?

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah? But what's her nickname? Mike? Do you know? Griselda Cocaine,
the cocaine Queen of Miami. That's it? Yeah, and cokain queen.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
A lot of things happened for her to take that job,
and then once she got there, she had to make
some tough decisions. And then once you make that decision,
you're in. I was when I was talking to Marianna
van Zeller, and I would love for you guys if
you go back on the Bobbycast and listen to that
interview I did with her. It's so good if you're
into cartels and drug trade. And because she went down

(14:58):
and stayed with the cartel for days at a time,
because she would gain their trust and they knew that
she wasn't gonna put them on blast as far as
their face. She wanted to learn about what they were doing,
how they were doing it. Her life was in danger
a couple of times, but not by the cartel, by
the people hunting the cartel, but she would talk about
because I asked the question, why why are people getting
in the cartel nowadays? And her answer to me was,

(15:18):
it's so ingrained in the culture, and your dad does it,
and his grandpa did it, and it's what everybody does,
and it's not seen as something that's evil. It's something
that is needed for the area and the economy. And yeah,
bad things have to happen to do that, but that's
and so you grow up inside of it. You're not
a bad guy. You're just continuing the family business. And

(15:40):
how she told the story was better than how I
just told the story Enlightening Enlightening. But if you have
some time and you want to go check that out.
It's an episode a while back but the Bobby Cast
with Marianna van Zelder. It's one of our most listened to, right,
maybe maybe top five of the ones that we've done
since this year. But it's up. It's really good. Okay,

(16:04):
anything else?

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Oh, I'm just sorry. I'm sorry. I feel bad. I
thought it was a woman. So what happened?

Speaker 1 (16:11):
I was set for a minute, I know.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
But I saw I was looking at pictures of the
influencers side by side, and she looked so drastically different
in each pictures. Both of those are of the influencer girlfriend.
They got killed, but I thought they looked so different
that I thought one was the drug lord and one
was the influencer. But one she's just wearing like tons

(16:35):
of makeup, and another one she looks more natural.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Okay, So word on the street is Travis Kelcey wants
to make a country album.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Interesting can he sing?

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Oh my god, there's no way he can sing.

Speaker 7 (16:50):
Stop.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
But it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
I know that. But he can't sing.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
I don't know that I can do you have no idea.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Yeah, I don't know that he can.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I'm shocked when I hear certain people sing and I'm like,
I had no idea.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
So I'm not saying it can't, but I don't know
he can't. But they say when he's saying a duet
with Taylor Swift at their wedding, it was a test run.
Someone else says that Taylor's friends in the music industry
think he's underestimating how tough country music really is, but
that Travis Kelsey believes the sky's the limit with Taylor
in his corner.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Yeah, well, yeah, so would he be aband?

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Nepotism is also side to side, not just up and down. Yeah,
it would never work. It would never work. It's hard enough.
There are things in this industry where people know if
people are legitimate, like our listeners us. You can tell,

(17:50):
for the most part, when someone is being true to
themselves when they do country music. But also there's a
difference in doing a country song because you think it's
fun and being a country artist where you try to
convince people you actually love country music, right, big difference.
And I don't mind when someone makes a country song
because they go, hey, I really like country music. I
thought I'd do a song, this would be fun like U.

(18:12):
Sabena Carpenter did that example, but she never said I'm
doing country music and I'm a country artist. Big difference. Now,
if you come carpetbagging over because something didn't work for
you in the pop world. I'm not talking about Travis
Kelcey here, I'm talking generally speaking. If you come carpetbagging
over and you're like, I'm now a country artist because
it didn't quite work for me in the pop world,

(18:34):
we see you now. There are people like a post
Malone that did not need to do country music. He
was killing it doing hip hop pop music, killing it. Also,
post Malone had a track record of loving country music
his entire musical career, before he even dabbled in coming
to Nashville making country music. He was here in studios

(18:56):
with Brad Paisley playing songs. He was playing country songs
on his own. He's from Texas. He would always say
he was rooted in country music, but he's a hip
hop artist. But with him, there was never a doubt
that he loved country music. And he also did the
thing where he moved to Nashville lived here and started
writing with songwriters and got himself into the community because
he understood what was happening. There's a big difference. There

(19:20):
are certain people that just go, I'm gonna record a
country song and see how it goes. And mostly you
know me from pop music, and I bet, I bet
I can trick them hillbillies. That's the stuff that pizs
me off. And they'll be like, they want to come
on your show, and if somebody it's really famous, and
it'd be fun to have them on if they were
coming on as just somebody that's famous. But I'm not
gonna sit here and act like, oh, so you're a

(19:41):
legitimate country artist, Like I can't do that. So it
would be tough for Travis Kelsey, who has never shown
that he had a love for country music, to be
considered a real country artist. If he does a country song,
that's fun, fun, that's fun, and if he doesn't try
to present himself as a real when they come in,
they go, oh, I've loved country music my whole life. Okay,

(20:04):
show me a picture of you from the nineties with
the Joe Diffy T shirt on or anything anything. So yeah,
if you just want to do a country song. Awesome.
He should be able to do whatever you want to do.
I think that's so fun. Just don't come around here
claiming that you're a country music artist, because that's the

(20:26):
door to get in to have a career.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
So the odds of that are probably zero percent. But
him doing one song, what do you think?

Speaker 1 (20:32):
You know what? That's fun?

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:33):
I know, But what do you think it's that? Is
there any truth to this story or is.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
It just what that he loves country music?

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Well?

Speaker 2 (20:40):
No, that he might be putting out a song or
getting into them not okay.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
He could have joked about it. Someone heard it, told
someone that person calls somebody, and if he does and
he records a country song, good for him. That's fun.
Just don't come around here acting like you're a country artist,
like a real one. But he's not. He's not. He
literally isn't. And this isn't a dig on him. The
story just came out today that Travis Kelcey might want
to be a country artist. Different being a country artist

(21:04):
than having a country song. You know, no problem with that,
but yeah, you just can't come to town going I'm now.
And there have been glaring examples of people who have
just come over and said, nah, I'm like Cindy Lapper
tried it and I like him. But Brett Michaels tried it.

(21:24):
I remember the lead singer from Poison, great guy, but
just never was completely believable as that. There are other folks.
So Travis Kelcey, good luck with your song. Can't wait
to hear it. I hope it's awesome. My advice would be,
just don't be claiming I'm just been a country family
whole life, because that's where it gets you that there's

(21:46):
been a trend and I've seen it shift since we've
been doing this show, which we've been doing the show
now for thirteen years here in Nashville. And when we
first started, all the young artists would come in some
true not You could always tell the people that weren't
being honest and they'd be like, I'm big Whaling fan.
I wouldn't challenge him on it, but in my mind

(22:09):
I would go, you're not a whaling fan. They'd be like,
I'm big Johnny Cash guy. Man. You can tell. You
can look in their eyes.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
What's the giveaway? It's there you're saying, it's their eyes. Yeah,
I can tell Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
I assume someone who grew up in Arkansas and my
grandma played Johnny Cash records all the time. You know,
I can tell. It's in my blood. Now the new
artist to fake and say that you love, and some
are true, like I believe Zach top when he says this.
He's the one I do believe. But a lot of
artists will come in and go, can you guess the
new old artist people claim they love so they can

(22:43):
sound cool. Take guess, well, like.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Are we talking to somebody in the nineties or eighties?

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Before the nineties, but at eighties we'll go eighties. This,
by the way, this artist is awesome, an amazing artist.
So in no way am I, you know, pooping on
him because he is amazing. But it's now the one
that people claim they love the most because they think
it sounds the coolest, and some really do. The people
that really love him love them.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
This is interesting.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
I've just noticed a trend over the past couple of years,
just doing tons of interviews. Mike, you know it right,
got it? You don't have it hilarious?

Speaker 3 (23:21):
If what is it?

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Chris Christofferson, no good try because Chris Chosopherson was more
of the Highwayman. He was back there with Willie and
Johnny Cat.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Yeah, so so someone younger than Willie, because that was.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Who was someone younger than Willie. It's not way Leon
or Merrell. It's not Johnny Cash, it's not Christofferson. It's
after that, but Chris Christofferson Military, Like he might be
the baddest dude in the history of country music. Like
great looking guy started than military, wrote for himself, but

(23:56):
other people made his songs amazing. Uh me and Bobby
McGee a great songwriter, but then that's a song that
people don't even know him.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Four and an actor.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
I know he was in the original Born Stars Born. Yeah,
he was the original Lady Gaga.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
No no, no, Yeah, I'll sing I don't I don't have one.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
I'll sing one of the songs I'm no Stranger to
the Rain. Yes, okay, I'll sing another one. Don't cluse.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Yes, I heard this. I've heard them say this.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
And then not the Alison Krause version, but but the
original version. You say it best when you say nothing
at all.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
But I just can't think of who this is.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
He's no longer with us. He died.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Oh his motorcycles with the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
It is.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Yeah, it's super cool. Yeah, oh give it as.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
You also have the one where it's like that powerful
love song.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Well that's everybody does he have that ballad where he
talks about drinking a lot, missing somebody.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Step in, then his last breath are dying.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
He has one song with your name in it, Amy, not.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
That one, No, no, You're you're no different song. I
know you're thinking of Amy.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Yeah, okay, okay, you know what song I'm talking about.
But I know he died and in the and the
song is so the song with.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Your name in it is the city Comma your.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Name Miami Miami? Correct, yeah, Miami Miami Jam right jam.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Most artists used Keith Whitley as an example to prove
he knows and exact one song.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
We haven't seen it yet, but it's the one where
I don't think we have. It's the one where.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
He's don't close.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Is that it don't close?

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Were just saying, sorry you did you started with that one.
But that's the that's a deep, powerful love song.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
I was talking about it, but how you said that,
She's like, okay, listen, it's the artist. It's in a
micro he thinks a microphone. It's a love song that
sounds so it's so passionate and it's deep. He's a man, yeah,
and at some point he's yearning.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
And also sometimes there'll be like like a still guitar
that comes in, like that's that's all.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Three chords in the truth.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
And there's three well maybe more chords here, but yes,
that that's the new artist.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Okay, I get that.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
The real ones know and love, but the fake ones
now claim. So keep one eye open, everybody.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
The Sheriff's on dude.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah, I went on to him for a bit now anyway,
good luck Travis Kelsey. Just don't come in here claiming
Keith Whitley.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
That's that.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
That's the point.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
But if he wants to come on the show're gonna
let him come on.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Yes, it depends. Depends if they're not trying to paint
him as an all time lifetime country artist. I'd love
to have him, man, of course, But if they're going no,
He's always been a fan of can't. I can't go
along with the charade because we've done that. I've done
that before with really famous people where I can't make
my listeners think I believe them. You know what I mean. Yeah,

(27:19):
you got call us if you want. We're here. Eight
seven seven seventy seven. Bobby eight seven seven seventy seven.
Bobby back in a second. So I posted a video
and you can see on my Instagram at mister Bobby
bones of the coyote in my backyard. And you know
what I did. I was gonna show all of them

(27:39):
because it was a big coyote with all the babies.
And I didn't want to show the babies because I
knew everybody would be sympathizing for the coyotes that attack
my dog.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Yeah, I was looking forward to the baby.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
I can show you the babies, but I don't want
to put it out there because everyone's gonna be like, oh,
so okay, that coyote just stares at me in the video.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Stay, I grew up and we called and I didn't
do it yesterday. But I didn't call them coyotes. We
grew with they're coyotes. And so you make a noise,
they run. They don't want anything to.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Do with you.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
You don't want anything to do with them. Mostly you go,
they're out, I said, I said, who stared at me?
Then I went me, MEI like road running, little roadrunner
like maybe at me and Bill would fall from the
top or something. Nothing, So I'm going, what is going
on here? And so it is up. It took me
a minute to get it up yesterday, mostly when Eller,

(28:33):
my dog got attacked by the coyote. I needed to
make sure she was all the way on the track
to being healthy because I didn't want to put the
video up and then her die.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Yeah, that would be terrible.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
So that's what I said. I said, Hey, I waited
a minute because I don't want to jinx my dog
dying after getting attacked by the coyote. But it's up,
mister Bobby Bones. You can see the coyote just stare
at me and go, I ain't going anywhere.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Hey, how far was that coyote? Well, you know my house,
roughly like fifty yards probably because not that far. Yeah,
you literally know my house. I know. I just wanted
a reference.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Okay, so what would you say?

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Fifty years? Okay, fair enough, Like that's crazy to kyote
just stared at you.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
So I posted that video and obviously the internet has
a lot to say, and we had a couple of
them that were going, hey, the coyotes live there longer
than you. I think that's its house.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
Oh, here we go.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
More than one multiples?

Speaker 2 (29:30):
Really?

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Yeah, did the coyote pay a mortgage on that lane?

Speaker 3 (29:34):
Right? You do?

Speaker 1 (29:35):
Yeah, here's a couple of things here. Sorry, Bobby, but
I got to disagree. She does live there. Those woods
have been their home far longer than humans have been there.
Just keep an eye on your dog. How about you
go walk her with a leash. Learn to live with wildlife.
And I hear you. I live in the middle of
a city and it's like a four acre trek of

(29:56):
woods that were back there a lot. And no. Also,
just know they have so much bacteria in their mouth
they transfer rabies. It's bad. So no. And then someone
else was kind of funny and got under that comment.
It said, actually, coyotes come from the West, based in Colorado,
and they moved over during It was just facts on facts.

(30:19):
Here's another one. The coyotes were actually in the woods. First,
you built a house in their home. No, there were
no coyotes and there's never been coyotes back there since
we bought the house. Something has pushed them there, and
people like, get a fence, we have a fence.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
You have a fence. They don't care about coyotes.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Can one jump and climb? You want more of the
people hating on it. Wildlife's been living in the woods
for generations and you took over their home. She's just
defending her territory. No, okay, she's renting, and you know
what time to evict?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
That thought never crossed my mind when you posted it, like,
I've never been like Bobby, they were there first.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
You're not an internet jerk though. Okay, yeah, google coyote hazing.
We had this issue in Florida and they told me
to do this. You can deter them with certain loud
noises and they quickly learned to avoid your property. Sounds silly,
but pots and pans worked. Also whistles and air horns.
The problem that I have there is Eller, our dog
who's half husky half hound, is very active and she

(31:22):
loves to go run in the backyard and run in
the woods. I can't trust us. Some pots and pans
have clean the area of coyotes because they attacked her
the last time she was out there. Here you go,
how do you know the dog didn't attack the coyote?

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Okay, okay, Well, I guess you didn't see it.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
But also the dog pays the mortgage, and maybe the
dog saw something it didn't. Maybe they communicated like, hey,
you want some of this, Yeah, is our house UFC.
So yeah, I've got pages and pages of coyote comments.
Here's one twelve gage shotgun will take care of them.
And I have a twelve gauge and I have birdshot.

(32:01):
And I said, I thought about that, but I can't
shoot a gun where I live because it's so close.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
And you don't want to shoot them.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
But it doesn't matter. You're in the city. People don't
realize you're in the city.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Yes, yes, I'm in the city. Yeah, yeah, I say
it one more time, I'm in your city. Here's another one.
How about a fence. We lived in areas with black bears.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
You have a fence in the city.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
I'm telling you. I'm repeating because everybody thinks they're an
expert on everything they have no idea about. So we're
working on it. I don't let Eller go in the
backyard at all, because she likes to run hard and free,
and she's annoyed because she just goes in a small
side yard. I'm gonna have to take her trail walker today,
which is annoying for me because my day's packed until
about four thirty or five, and then I'm gonna go
probably get attacked by bears. And then it's not dramatic

(32:45):
at all. I go out. I can go out with
Stanley because he doesn't go back to the woods. I
go out with him and just guard. And then at
night I spotlight. He moves like one mile an hour,
and I think if they got to him, they take
a bite and go.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
I think this is too much. It's do its work, Yeah,
too much.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
You know my buddy. It was in a neighborhood that
had coyotes, so he set out traps, caught the neighbor's
dog labrador, hurt the dog, I mean hurt the pall
but it didn't break anything.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
But it was as a bad one. Yeah, we're making
some calls. I don't want to kill them Arkansas. Keith
does he wants to drive all the way up eight
hours with a rifle and take care of them.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Yeah, yeah. So that's what's up. That's the update. That's
all the comments. You can now see it on my instagram.
Mister Bobby Bones. Alright, a couple of voicemail.

Speaker 8 (33:37):
Let's hit that Rey deserves to be the owner of
a popper shot machine. Scuba is just riding on Ray's coattails.
He never had any interest in it until Ray was
interested in it other than him being an NBA player
before his father left. But that's beside the point. Ray,
he deserves it.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
It's a no brainer.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Love the show false false?

Speaker 3 (33:59):
What false?

Speaker 5 (34:00):
What you said?

Speaker 3 (34:00):
It wasn't.

Speaker 9 (34:00):
I didn't jump in any hotels. Ray and I came
back from are what we talked about this. We came
back from our winter break and I was just shooting
on a similar Papa Shot thing and I was like, man,
my score was high.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
And then at the same.

Speaker 9 (34:11):
Moment I'm watching Ray, He's watching Papa Shot videos and
I was like, dude, what is this?

Speaker 1 (34:15):
And he explained it to me and then went out right.
Then they fell in love and made out.

Speaker 9 (34:19):
I knew we had a great bit here, but we
had to work on it, and part of that working
was figuring out the logistics of it.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
When can we go?

Speaker 9 (34:26):
I then found an email, reached out to them to
build the relationship and figure it out, and then it
fostered into what you've heard on the air.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
I think everybody has an argument. Yeah, and I think
a game of pure chants, multiple games of pure chants
should settle who owns it. I actually don't want it,
but if it's up here and it's this show, I
don't want someone let's say, Ray, go screw this. I'm
gonna go do sore losers full time. I'm taking the

(34:55):
game with me. I don't want that to happen. And
if one of them owned, they can do that. So
I hear you. Thank you for the voicemail. But I
didn't know that about you and Ray Scuba, how you
both were in it.

Speaker 9 (35:08):
Oh yeah, going back to December.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
May do you believe that? No, it's true? Okay, good, okay, good?
Will you play six?

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (35:14):
Just to ask like this called as far as Scooba
see being the one that got the machine or made
the relationships with the people to get the machine, that's
his job. He's supposed to make relationships with the show
for content. Ray, I'm still voting for you one hundred
and ten percent. You deserve the machine. Okay, have a
great day.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I think it's funny when people don't know Scooba's job,
tell them what his job. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that made
me laugh too. We hear you. Thank you so much.
We do value that. So any idea of when we're
getting the machine, because there's no need for us to
fight about something we don't even have yet.

Speaker 9 (35:48):
We sent the email on Friday of you know, how
to get it here and everything, so we're just waiting
for a response back. So not sure when it's going
to come.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
I have no idea wait a response back or when
it can get here.

Speaker 9 (35:59):
When it can get here because they ask questions of
dimensions how to get it as their loading zone because
it's not not delivering a sheet of paper, it's it's
a full on machine.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
But they are going to send one.

Speaker 9 (36:08):
Yes, yes, we we're just you know, going through all
that process. Part of my job is to figure out
processes and yeah, ye yeah, good point.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
Good point. So sometimes movie Mike turns into Data Mike,
and we do every Friday we do data and then
at the end of the month we do data. And
so I have the biggest podcast episodes of the year
so far for the Bobby Bone Show, so from January
first to today a drum roll please, at number five

(36:37):
so far this year. From May twenty first, twenty twenty six,
Amy brings in her guyn to collogists for Eddie.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
Yeah, that was stupid, but I get why people wanted
to hear that. What there was no reason for a
guyd ofcologist to come.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
See me, but if you're talking to you about your testosterone.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
And not only that, she used to be a pharmacist too, right,
like she had expertise in a couple of fields and
shared information in general about what Amy's going through.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
And working out and diet which you still haven't.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Excuse me, I'm dieting.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
You are no dieting confusion. When it says diet, that
does not mean dieting.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
It means your food intake. You're overall what you're consuming,
and you have shared with us. You even said even
when you're not even meaning to you, you're just like
casually talking about stuff, yeah, everything, and then you're not
lifting at all.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
Lifting I kind of need to do that a little more.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Yeah, and by a little more, you mean like at all,
I am at all.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
I get you. I get you. Okay.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
That's number five. Number four from April second, twenty twenty six.
Bobby's birthday dilemma gets complicated. Your birthday I don't know.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
God complicated.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
How do you get complicated?

Speaker 1 (37:47):
I don't know?

Speaker 3 (37:48):
And what do you.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Even do for your birthday?

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Like?

Speaker 1 (37:49):
I don't know?

Speaker 3 (37:51):
Oh, they have something to do with dinner? No?

Speaker 2 (37:54):
No, no, a baby?

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Uh did have a baby on your birthday a couple
of weeks prior?

Speaker 3 (38:02):
Okay, so what you were gonna how you're gonna celebrate.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Your don't remember. We do a lot of content here.
Don't remember. But that's the number four episode so far
this year, number three from March fourth. Bobby got a
rude comment from a celebrity.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
Huh, no, idea, you don't remember this.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
I'm sure if I were reminded of it, I would
remember it, but I don't remember it. And also, whatever
it was wasn't a lie. And this is why I
can't remember enough stuff to lie and keep it up,
so I just won't.

Speaker 7 (38:36):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
I don't know who the rude comment was. It had
to be something on Instagram or something. Huh yeah?

Speaker 5 (38:41):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (38:43):
Well, just you know, is that he's gaming me right now?

Speaker 3 (38:45):
I feel like you can get it.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
Was it somebody in the country?

Speaker 5 (38:48):
Music?

Speaker 7 (38:49):
No?

Speaker 3 (38:50):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (38:52):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (38:53):
Sports?

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Could it have been a Dancing with the Stars Nope?

Speaker 1 (38:57):
Oh, interesting because I do get some rude mm hmm.
So if it wasn't, was that music in general not
really acting?

Speaker 5 (39:06):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (39:07):
It was an actor, Yes.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
An actor.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
An actors put a rude comment. Okay, am I gonna
is it gonna reignite my fire? Possibly remembering that? Was
it about something?

Speaker 5 (39:21):
I said?

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (39:24):
Maybe not you?

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Oh some lunchbox said and I got laying for it.

Speaker 6 (39:28):
Well you didn't say it, but you were involved.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
Does anybody else remember? No, I've got nothing something Amy said?

Speaker 6 (39:37):
No?

Speaker 2 (39:38):
No?

Speaker 3 (39:41):
Did I say no?

Speaker 1 (39:44):
Are we all gonna go?

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Celebrity that said it? And Bobby was standing up for them?

Speaker 6 (39:48):
Yes, okay, okay, I can give you one clue that'll
probably let you know what it is.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
That'd be great.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
We would love that it was deleted.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
Oh yeah it was uh yeah, it was Chase who
came after Morgan who then I stood up? Remember Kelsey
Morgan was on the Bobby cast Chase Stokes. Yeah that's right.
Oh something about me the leader? I don't even remember. Yeah,
but that's what it was.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
Yeah, yeah, how about that?

Speaker 1 (40:20):
What do you say about me? Do you remember?

Speaker 6 (40:22):
I think it was about Morgan though, about him not
being masculine or something ors, frail masculinity or something.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Or maybe it was We were confused if it was
me or Morgan because it all kind of mixed them together.
I do remember that. Now number two, did lunch Box
get on the prices right? March thirty first, twenty twenty
six spoiler?

Speaker 3 (40:41):
He did, well, did he?

Speaker 1 (40:44):
But I think in that episode from March thirty first,
to go back and listen to it, we we find
out as we're watching. We were totally surprised because everybody
kept saying Daniels on and we're like, who the heck's Daniel?

Speaker 3 (40:54):
We don't know what Daniel.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
And then number one March twenty fourth, Bobby thought he
was having a heart attack.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
Dude, this is crazy. We don't remember any of this stuff.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
I think we would if we were told. But Mike
is an excellent teas writer too, so it's all there.
But Mike is finding the greatest way to get people
into it.

Speaker 6 (41:13):
I think that was something very minor. But you said
you felt like you were having an art attacks.

Speaker 5 (41:16):
Now that that sounds like a great title.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
So also on that one, the number one, the other
ones were Bobby and me make a bet. Yeah, so
in case you're wondering what the big five episodes were
so far this year. Those are the top five. Yeah,
let's see what else we got here on the old list.

(41:40):
Eddie's been texting with a high school student that's not
his own kid.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Why kind of weird. I know it sounds weird on
the surface, but hear me out and I don't know
what to do. Like, I haven't even responded to the
last two texts because I feel weird doing it. So
the other day, I took my seven year old to
go play golf. He's really liking golf, so I said,
come on, let's you and me will walk nine holes.
We show up, We're like, do you have room for
two people? They're like, yes, we're gonna team you up

(42:05):
with this kid. I said, whatever, that's fine, he's seventeen
years old. We start playing a couple holes. We start talking.
He's like, what do you do for a living. I
was like, oh, I'm on the radio. He's like, oh,
that's cool. I'm trying to get you know, I'm still
in high school, but I'm trying to get involved in
the entertainment business. I'm like, oh, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
He's like, I have a medium with this guy Tomorrow,
who works at red Light Management, and I was like,
that's weird. We know red light Management. So he's like, yeah,
I'm meeting with this guy named Tom. I'm like, I
know Tom. That's crazy. That's Bobby's manager. And he's like,
wait a minute, are you wait you're Eddie. Oh my gosh,
you're Bobby. I know exactly who you are. So I'm

(42:41):
like he did. He put it all together, and I'm like,
that's cool. And then as we're playing, he's like, hey, man,
i'd love to just get your number and you know,
and like just pick your brain a little bit about
the industry. I'm like, man, I really don't know that
much about the industry, but sure, I give him my number.
He starts texting me. I'm like, this is weird because
he's seven eventeen years old. But I'm more like of

(43:01):
a mentor than like some random duty's texting. But it
still feels weird.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
I think because of all the factors in play, it's
not that weird.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
I shouldn't feel weird at.

Speaker 1 (43:11):
All any more. Generic maybe we start to have a
conversation of there's no many hours, but that's very specific.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
Yes, it is. And I know from my side of
it and the story I just told you, it sounds
completely normal. Right. But if I were his parents, yeah, yeah,
And I saw the phone and I'm like, who are
you texting? Oh, it's this dude that you know what,
I'd be like, this is weird. Yep.

Speaker 1 (43:35):
I think he should tell his parents who you are
and what's up? Or also, he's seventeen, his parents may
never see his phone either, or they may have granted
him like almost full seventeen year oldtonomy or I don't
need to check on you unless you give me a
reason to have to check on you type thing.

Speaker 3 (43:50):
Great kid though, man like.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
And if he's a great kid, his parents know that
they're probably not worried about him talking to weirdo's. I'm
not a weirdo, I know, but you never know, and
you have to think everybody's weirdo until you realize they're
not a weirdo.

Speaker 3 (44:02):
Dude, I thought it was so crazy. He even hit
me with like, you know what's crazy is like this.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Is another having chats. Oh no, this didn't know.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
He told me this on the golf course. He said
this summer, I've said, you know what, I'm not going
to have a part time job. I'm just going to
try to do a bunch of internships. He's like, so,
I've been shadowing a bunch of people. I shadowed Ernest,
Hardy's like manager for a little bit. You're a manager
for a little bit.

Speaker 1 (44:24):
Oh you mean Ernest and Hardy's manager. Yeah, yeah, Ernest.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
And Hardy and so he is. He said today though,
I was going to just take the day off and
just go play golf for myself, and then I run
into you. This is crazy. He was like, this is
a god thing. Man, Like, I was meant to meet you.
I'm like a serious So anyway, I like the I
like the kid. I gave him my number. We haven't

(44:51):
like gone to get coffee or anything, but I just
I feel weird about it.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
I think if you go to get coffee, that's even
better than texting.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Just all feels weird. Dude.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Yeah, I don't even think texting is wrong because all
the things you said. But if you just meet a
kid and he's like, hey, oh you're in music one day,
I want to play music. Can I text you? That's weird.
There are too many things in play here that match
wonderfully totally.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
We all know and he knows like Tom's son. I
know Tom's like, we all know each other. So it's
a cool thing. It really is weirdness. Weirdness scale two
out of ten.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Okay, I think that it's totally fine. There's nothing weird
about it.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
So I think you okay. But when Bobby brought this up,
your face.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Was like, well, yeah, because I know, I wrote he's
talking to kids online.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
I have that teenager that has my old number and
a lot of people end up texting him, and that
part's gotten really weird. But this backstory, this, this is
like you have opportunity to be a mentor and he's
really excited that he met you and ran into you.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
And there's a lot of people and play that again.
There's so many connections.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
Sure it's not random.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
Yeah, and even if it was random, body like Amy saying,
if you wanted to do all that, that's still okay.
Just be careful, keep one eye, yeah, just be careful.
Amy has a salsa proposal for you, Eddie, Oh let's go.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Yeah. So I'm getting so many dms from people and
I thought, okay, I can help you coordinate some of these.
She wants money well, no, here, I don't want.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
He wants a piece of the pie.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
No, I don't want a piece of your pie. I
know you're working hard for it, but in our case, like,
I'm buying salcer from you, so salsa is money. So
I will work for salsa, Like I'll help coordinate some
sales for you, and just say, if I land you
five sales, I get a jar salsa.

Speaker 3 (46:39):
Okay, Okay, I like where this is going.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
Every five is a jar.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
Wow, that's a lot of jars. But when you say
land a sale, are you just going to forward me
your dms? Or are you gonna land this?

Speaker 2 (46:52):
How much do you want me involved in?

Speaker 1 (46:54):
It has to be a transaction money and salsa. So
if you send him the mind if I step in
by the absolutely he don't mind at all.

Speaker 3 (47:03):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
If you send him a DM and then he says okay,
I can do this and goes to them provides the
sausa gets the payment. Once the saucea and payment exchange happens,
that's one. That's one punch, right.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
It's not I'm not. I'm not. I don't want a
salsa for a lead. I'm not. I can send you
all kinds of leads. But Bobby's right. If they don't buy,
then I don't deserve any salsa. It's like it's my commission.

Speaker 1 (47:29):
Yeah, because you get comission off off your selves.

Speaker 3 (47:31):
Okay, it's like a promo code promo code amy, except.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Except for it won't get you a discount. It just
goes towards me getting my free jar of salsa.

Speaker 1 (47:41):
It gets to him. I'm sure some of them aren't
even getting to him if there are so many dms.

Speaker 3 (47:45):
There are so many, and I took a week off
because I had to deal with some personal stuff. But
they are piling up.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
I guess that's why they were showing up in my
m box beer my dms, because if they're not hearing
back from Eddie, then they're like, well who, they're probably
sending all all of us notes.

Speaker 3 (48:00):
Okay, five sausas.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Or five buys buys.

Speaker 3 (48:05):
Equals one salsa for you.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
Because just think about it. You make a jar, you
just dump a little bit into a jar from that one.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
Oh, like every fit like five dump a little bit.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
Well let's say, well, I'm not saying literally but figuratively,
you created your sausa. It's just this much more that
you're making in that batch, dumping in there.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
Yeah, and then the next thing you know, you got
a whole jar after five, it goes to Amy. There
you go, that's not a bad idea, Amy, let me
sit on it. We'll talk about it.

Speaker 1 (48:33):
My point was it wasn't a whole bunch of money
you're losing by doing that. It's just a little off
the top of every jar.

Speaker 3 (48:38):
So I wonder if when the DM stopped coming in,
or are you going to start hitting the streets.

Speaker 1 (48:43):
Well, she has a right to change her price.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Well, I don't get don't get the salsa. If I
want salsa, then I have to pay for it.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
But or maybe if you sell so much, well we
start talking money too. I'll let you know when she
decides that that that's what we're gonna do.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
Hey, hey, you just came in to talk a little
bit negotiation.

Speaker 2 (49:01):
To answer that question. Specifically, As I'm sitting here thinking
about it, I could hit the streets. I don't know
that I'll be out passing out flyers, but like I
know people that might want to buy it. I could
start cold calling.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
That's pretty That's the cool thing that's happening is like
some people are like, I've already told people in my
work about this, and they're loving it too, so they
want to order.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
If you're cold calling, you're getting paid with more than salsa.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Well, whoa, we'll relax.

Speaker 1 (49:25):
I mean, Amy's actually doing work instead of just receiving people.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
But it just depends like how bad she wants the salsa.

Speaker 2 (49:30):
But that is money to me. I want that's twelve fifty.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
You're going to be like my friends that started and
started and started chicken houses.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
Oh yeah, I'm ten.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
They have so many eggs they don't know what to
do with them all, and they can't give them all away.
That's going to be you with salsa. But you have
seventy four jars of SAUCEA and go. I can't eat
all this? What do I do?

Speaker 3 (49:46):
Oh cheerly it is?

Speaker 2 (49:46):
I can eat it. I meant through my first jars so.

Speaker 1 (49:48):
Fast, and Eddie kind of got me hooks. Ordered salsa
from some other place.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
Wait, what why are you ordering from some other place?

Speaker 1 (49:56):
You were on it because I wanted salsa in that evening.
Oh and I wasn't there and got it and you
didn't have any made.

Speaker 3 (50:01):
Yeah, but I can do it. I can whip them
up real quick for you.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
Tim Cook says there's a possibility that Apple will charge
for Siri. That's the one I won't pay for. Serious.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
I don't use it.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
S sucks.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
Yeah, why would I pay for that?

Speaker 3 (50:14):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (50:17):
Yeah, there are much better uses of AI than Siri,
unless they heavily improve it.

Speaker 3 (50:24):
But when you're driving, can you call your AI or
can you talk to your AI? Because series really is
sometimes the only one that you can talk to.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
I don't even really do that, you know, for me,
I wouldn't. The only thing that I do is I say, hey,
did to add something to my calendar? That's it? But
I can easily just type that in series of all
I think, So it might be the worst that I use.
I don't use Alexa at all, so I don't know.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
I don't use her at home a lot. Yeah, but
that's mostly like if I'm baking something, I'll just and
I'm preparing it real quick, I'll ask her like, wait,
what temperature should I have the oven at? And then
she'll tell me.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
I use probably Claude the most chat GPT. Second, Gemini
is the Google right, yeah? That third, I just like
going to Google because just straight Google now uses AI
for their search, and that's probably the same as Gemini

(51:18):
I use. I like to go to Google and use
there's fourth who's the girl that we talked to chat gbt?

Speaker 2 (51:23):
Oh okay, that like a special version. No, like you
pay for her?

Speaker 1 (51:31):
You have like a prostitute?

Speaker 3 (51:33):
Do you bobby solicit her? It's like those Congress you
know those questions.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
Yeah, I think you probably have one too. That's just
the talk It's just the talk back voice.

Speaker 3 (51:45):
Oh no, yours is different. I haven't heard yours in
any anybody else's.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
I think everyone's is different because the guy that does
it on TikTok, he has a whole account of him
asking his chat gbt to do something funny. This is
a dude voice.

Speaker 2 (52:00):
It was sort of like you can set your GPS
voice or your serri voice to American male or frenchman.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
I haven't set mine. I actually thought that was just standard.
And also Amy's pervan out of our frenchman. And no,
I heard that.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
You can do like a man with an accent Australian man.
You know, y'all could do Australian woman.

Speaker 3 (52:24):
We're good.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
Remember we were talking about hooking up and like talking
dirty to your Ai, and Amy's like, and this dribbles
out no, so yeah, he was saying that Siri couldn't
have a charge at some point. It can't be that
mine keeps going off. My keeps going off. It doesn't
matter though, if it's that much, do you want to
pay two ninety nine?

Speaker 2 (52:44):
No, don't pay for Stop charging me for everything.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
I was even mad at my weather out today because
like it said, no rain on the way to work,
so I was like, okay, cool, I'll just keep the
top down and guess what it rained all over me
and I pay for that thing. And I was literally
curse in the app by myself in the car, being like,
why don't I even pay for you? If you're gonna
lie to me like that, like you said zero percent.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
I'd go easy.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
I don't want to what app app?

Speaker 3 (53:10):
Don't climate something?

Speaker 1 (53:12):
I have Dark Sky And they always like shame me
for not paying. Yeah, we can't believe you're not paying
all the hard work we're doing and you won't even
pay two ninety nine a month. It's like Reddit when
you go over not Reddit but Wikipedia. We can't believe
you won't even get this two dollars. I feel bad,
shame shame.

Speaker 6 (53:28):
They tell you how many times you've used it, You're
gonna use it this many times and you pay nothing.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
You've even given us a nickel loser. So Amy, did
you ever book your flight to Ecuador?

Speaker 2 (53:37):
Mm?

Speaker 1 (53:37):
Hmm that's Equador?

Speaker 2 (53:39):
Yeah, and you're not gonna believe it. I got really,
really frustrated for a while, and then I decide, Okay,
screw Expedia Kayak because I'm having to take multiple flights
with multiple airlines to get to the tiny town where
my cousin is, so I thought those platforms would be easier. Well,

(54:03):
then I just got I went to Delta and went
on their website and I pull up the dates and
I couldn't believe my eyes. I got a Delta one,
which I had to google for sure, for sure what
that is, because the price was so good. Do you
know what Delta one is? It's their business class first
class seat. Okay, it was cheaper than the main cabin

(54:28):
what by like over one thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (54:31):
Why do you think that is?

Speaker 2 (54:32):
I have no idea, but you better believe. I was
entering in my credit card numbers so fast before they
could catch the mistake, because I thought this can't be right.
This can't be right. And then when my credit card
is processing, I was like, is it gonna go through?
Is it going to go through? Is it gonna go through?
And then I get an email confirmation with my flight
receipt and I am booked for Delta one boys and

(54:55):
Girls on an international trip.

Speaker 1 (54:59):
I wonder why that happened? Did someone give up a seat?

Speaker 2 (55:02):
I have why in the world would it happen? And
the thing is I was even looking those particular flights
and times from Delta. I wasn't eve paying attention to
on Kayaker Expedia because they were way too expensive, but
I was looking at regular price tickets on there, like
on there, I wasn't looking at first class tickets. But
when you pull up on Delta, because I just got
I went to United, I was going to every airline,

(55:24):
but by the time I went to Delta, they give
you every price in a line and it's like main cabin, yeah, whatever,
next main cabin, the next one. And then Delta won.
And I thought, am I reading this backwards? And Maine
is like the show reach backwards like everything about it.
And I I was actually at a hairppointment and I

(55:45):
had my hair person look at my computer. I said,
do you see what I see? And she goes, oh,
my gosh, I've never seen anything like that. She's like,
why in the world would they price that ticket less?
Like it doesn't make sense. So I don't know if
there's a glitch or if this just happens from time
to time. But I am so excited because I'm gonna

(56:07):
have to sleep. One of my flights is overnight, and
I was gonna be in main cabin like and now
I'm gonna be.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
Why would you be a main cabin like that? You
look like, I don't know, like, she's how would you
describe this?

Speaker 3 (56:21):
Yeah, like dead in.

Speaker 7 (56:23):
You're like squashed and you're like trying to cuddle up
and sleep like this because you're in your normal seat
and now I'm going to be, I don't know, in
a reclined seat.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
My mind is still blown. And then also, why did
you do it?

Speaker 1 (56:41):
Why did you remember.

Speaker 2 (56:42):
My cousin told me to wait? She goes, this, my cousin,
my cousin, my psychic cousin. That's your answer, she said, stop,
just do it tomorrow, because I'd already I think of
the think about this too. I remember I had already
tried to book it, and then they canceled the flights
on me. I got emails from United but through Expedia

(57:06):
that my flights were canceled, and I'm like, this process
is stressing me out because every day the tickets are
just going up, like this is not good. And then
she told me, she was like, just do it tomorrow.
Well guess what happened when I just took a breath
and did it tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
You told us, you told us what I went up to.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
Guess I'm just still so giddy over it. All this
to say, don't roll out those tickets, like pay it,
look at go look at those tickets, because you never know, Yeah,
you never know, Like what.

Speaker 3 (57:35):
Was the price before, like the Expedia prices you were
saying like there is so expensive, Like what were those
prices to go to Ecuador.

Speaker 2 (57:41):
For the first class tickets?

Speaker 4 (57:42):
No?

Speaker 3 (57:42):
No, no, for the right oh for the regular for.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
The first time I was booking my regular tickets, Like
those would have been fine. It's just I couldn't. They'd
already canceled my flight twice, and then I couldn't find
the right times of when I needed to leave and
catch the other airline and the prices were going up,
so that's when I was like, well, screw it, They've
already canceled on me twice. That's why I'm gonna just
go to the airlines directly. But I didn't think Delta

(58:06):
would book me all the way through, but they do
because I guess the weird the weird. To me, it's
not weird, but the Ecuadorian Airline is a Delta operated plane,
so it ended up being fine. But to your point,
like a first class ticket on Expedia, the reason why
I would not even look at that, I mean three
thousand dollars or something one way, both no, both ways,

(58:26):
that still lot money. But to Ecuador, I was like, no,
I'm main cabin in it for way less. But now
I got a first class ticket for a same as
the main cabin ticket that I booked that they canceled
on me. So now I'm so glad they canceled on me,
and I'm so glad my cousin told me to wait
and I'll stop talking about it, But just don't give
up on your dreams.

Speaker 1 (58:46):
And if you have a psychic and the family, hit them.

Speaker 2 (58:48):
Up, because this is just gonna be such more of
a comfortable ride, right, because I mean it's a long
travel day.

Speaker 1 (58:58):
Well, good for you. Yeah, it's good. Okay, that's it.
Thank you everybody for listening and for watching if you're
watching on YouTube, Thank you very much. My Bobbycast Jax
do you know Jacks?

Speaker 2 (59:10):
Yes, Jax, jak X wowja X.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
I feel like you traveled two timelines there at the
same time, like somehow. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
Sorry, I'm telling you.

Speaker 1 (59:24):
What I'm saying. Do you know who that is?

Speaker 2 (59:25):
I know, Yes, I've met her and I know who
she is. Oht I met her in Vegas at iHeart
Festival a few years ago.

Speaker 1 (59:32):
Tell me this feels familiar. Yeah, but did you know
her from singing on social media? Yep, okay, we had
this conversation then, Yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
You know from social media. So I went up and
told her like how much I loved her content and
her songs and how cool I thought she was. And
she was cool and receiving that information.

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Yeah, she's up on the Bobbycast. Really great. What's on
yours today?

Speaker 3 (59:50):
Do you know?

Speaker 2 (59:50):
Oh, what the hell are we doing with our lives?

Speaker 1 (59:53):
Good question? What's your podcast about?

Speaker 2 (59:55):
What the what the hell are we doing with our lives?

Speaker 1 (59:58):
Well, that's your podcast about that is.

Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
It's it's specific questions that you get together with your
girlfriends and like maybe have a girls night and you
have a what the hell are we doing with our
lives dinner? And you go around and we give you this, well,
we give you specific questions that help you answer that,
and then we also go over six things to avoid
doing if you want to avoid being cringe, and I

(01:00:23):
do some of them honest right, I'm working on it.
But the girl's dinner thing is really cool because it
makes me want to host. So, what the heck are
we doing with our lives dinner?

Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
Why did you change it?

Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
Then? I felt weird saying hell that many times.

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
To the point, thank you, everybody will see you tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (01:00:45):
Bye.
