Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to the Bobby Ball Show. Bobby Ball Show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Okay, let's get this caller on. This is Oscar in Oceanside, California.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Oscar.
Speaker 4 (00:12):
Hey, Bobby.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Do you live near the water?
Speaker 4 (00:16):
About like 10 minutes or so. Not that far.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Do you go to the water?
Speaker 4 (00:21):
Um.
Sometimes we get some dirty water coming up from the south,
so it's a hit or miss depending on the water quality.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Classic south.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah, always.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Classic.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Probably that Arkansas and Mississippi water making its way up.
Did you grow up there?
Speaker 4 (00:39):
No, I'm originally from New Jersey. I'm just stationed out
here right now.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Oh, got it. Oh, so you don't really have an
allegiance to the beach.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
Well, I'm from Jersey, so the Jersey Shore, of course.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Other beach. Is it water warmer over there?
Speaker 4 (00:54):
Right now it is because we're like in a little
heat wave but normally it's cold because isn't.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
It yeah i could be wrong here isn't it cold
on the pacific side and warmer on the atlantic side
yeah the water yeah yeah yeah because anytime we go
to la there's water it sucks who wants to get
in the water so cold it's cold also i don't
want to get in the water anywhere because i don't
like water but other than that uh so you're stationed
in oceanside can you tell me what you do.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
I'm a hospital corpsman, so I attend to the Marines
out here in Camp Pendleton, just medical-wise, stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
That's pretty cool. Do you do needles?
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Yeah, I'm really good with IVs.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
Nice.
Speaker 6 (01:32):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
You know what doctors do for babies that I think
is pretty cool? So we have to do a thing
with our five-month-old whenever we put lotion on her face,
because she hates it. We go boop, boop. We poke
her everywhere on her body.
Speaker 6 (01:47):
Boop, boop, boop, boop.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
And we have lotion on her other finger. So then
when we do the poke with the boop, boop, that
lotion hits the face. Then we keep boop, boop, boop, boop.
And she thinks it's funny. And then by the time
she realizes, oh, we just tricked her, we got the
lotion on her face, right? So we're boop, boop, boop, boop.
And I saw on TikTok doctors do that with shots.
And the baby sometimes doesn't even realize it because they're
(02:09):
getting boop, boop so much. This doctor said this is
how I will– you know, you give baby shots or, uh, uh,
vaccines or whatever. And it's like, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, needle, boop,
go to the next boop. And the baby's like, it's wild.
It's pretty cool. Do you ever do boop, boop Oscar?
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Uh, yeah, I do boop, boop, trying to get some
farts and burps out of him.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Oh, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
I mean, with your needles, with the soldiers.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Yeah. Uh, no, I don't know if they really like
the boop.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Boop, boop with the soldier.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
You have a baby Oscar?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yes, I do. Baby Jack.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
How old?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
He's a month old now.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Oh, my goodness.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
He's hanging out in bed right now with me.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
That's so cool.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
Brand new.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Okay. Well, let's play a little game, Oscar. I don't
know how you're going to do with this, but it's
a little Bobby Bone Show trivia. I think it should
be pretty easy, but let's see if you get any
of these five, okay?
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
All right.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Let's see. We got Oscar here, California. Oscar, can you
give me the name of any one of my two dogs?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Whatchamacallit?
Speaker 7 (03:19):
Stella.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Eller.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
You know, he almost combined both of them. Because one
is Stanley and one is Eller. So Eller is correct.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
That is one.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Give the guy one point.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Good job.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
What show member is known for doing the morning corny?
Speaker 6 (03:36):
Amy.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
That's correct. Oh, here's a level two. What is Amy's
son's name?
Speaker 6 (03:41):
Oof.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Stevenson.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Okay, we got a player. We got a player. What
singing competition show was I on for four seasons as
the official mentor?
Speaker 4 (03:54):
American Idol.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Good.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Okay, this guy knows his game here. Hey, he knows ball.
He knows ball. Okay, let's go level three, a little harder.
What college did Lunchbox attend?
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Texas A & M. No. Close.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Amy went to Texas A & M. Lunchbox went to UTSA,
San Antonio.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, Roadrunners.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Beep, beep.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Eddie used to work as what job before he joined
this show?
Speaker 4 (04:21):
He used to film for the news.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
That's right.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
TV news, shooter, producer. That's right.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Okay, this is no Super Bowl. I don't think he
gets this, but let's see. What was the name of
the movie I was in in 2009 with Vanessa Hudgens
and Lisa Kudrow?
Speaker 4 (04:45):
Can I phone in Lunchbox or Eddie?
Speaker 2 (04:49):
No, they will for sure know it.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, I know it.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
If you don't know it, that's okay. You haven't missed
any yet.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
No, I don't know that one.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Okay. The movie was Lord of the Rings.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
All three of them.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
It's a movie called Band Slam. Okay, okay, okay. Two
other questions. What late night talk show host is my
professional idol and hero and I've never met him?
Speaker 4 (05:16):
What's his name? He actually came to visit us when
I was at Walter Reed. White hair, big beard now
on Netflix.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 6 (05:26):
Let's go, baby.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Come on.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
What's his name?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Stellar.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
He had a talk show host.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah. You're close enough. It's David Letterman. It's David Letterman.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
David Letterman, yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Or Stellar.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Because he knew who it was. Yes. Just didn't have
the name.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I think he did good. I think he wins. That's awesome. Oscar,
so I have a really good prize for you, but
I don't know if you can use it if you're
stationed on a base there. Let me read you the prize,
and then also I may just give you some money.
I may just Venmo you some money. So we have
a $ 500 Air Tasker gift card, which means pet sitter,
(06:03):
personal assistant, mechanic, handyman, cleaner, IT, anything. They do anything.
And so it's a $ 500 gift card for you to
use with Air Tasker, get anything done, mounting a TV,
yard work. And so I'm going to send you this card.
And for everybody listening, download the Air Tasker app or
visit airtasker.com. Now, with you living on base, I'm going
to give you that anyway. Somebody can use it in
(06:23):
your family or life. but then I'll just Venmo you
a hundred bucks.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Oh my God. This is so unexpected. I just woke
up from a nap.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Look at that.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Can I put you on hold and you give Abby,
do you have a Venmo?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Um, no, I think my wife, she's right next to
me right now.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Or cash app. You have cash app.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
Uh, I just have daily federal. I'm not really, usually
when I let people like, When I pay for stuff,
I'm just like, hey, you just buy me something back.
I don't really ever expect you guys to ever pay
me back.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
You just barter with people? Interesting.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Old days. He's 1,700. Okay, I'm sending him three pelts,
four on exchange.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Ask your wife if she has a Venmo.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Do you have a Venmo? She has a Venmo.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Okay, then I'm going to put you on hold, and
Abby's going to get your Venmo, and I'm going to
Venmo you $ 100, and then we're going to make sure
you get this $ 500 gift card to Airtasker, okay?
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Okay. God, thank you so much, Bobby.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Hey, you're awesome, man. I didn't know what we were
dealing with this morning. You're awesome, and thank you for listening.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
Congrats on the baby.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Oh, my goodness. Congrats on the one-month-old.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
And the nap. That sounds really cool.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Got a nap when you can.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
That's great. It gives me chills one month not knowing.
I think it's awesome, but I get it. When people,
after it's done, and they go, you know, I'm not
going to tell you how hard it is. I'm just
going to let you do it. It's hard.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
It's awesome. It's hard. Okay, Oscar, you stay on hold. Abby,
you got him? Okay, there he is, Oscar. Good job,
good job, good job. Okay. He was good, huh?
Speaker 3 (07:59):
That was awesome.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
You never know.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
He knew his stuff.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Okay, you want to do some stories?
Speaker 6 (08:07):
Sure.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Yeah, you go.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Have y'all heard of bigorexia?
Speaker 3 (08:10):
What the?
Speaker 2 (08:11):
That's not what I thought you were saying.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
I thought we were going blue pill.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
Where did y'all think?
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Amy, stop.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
What?
Speaker 3 (08:18):
You did that on purpose.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
No, I didn't. It's called bigorexia.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Have you heard of veiny heartorexia?
Speaker 8 (08:23):
No.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
What y'all are thinking about never crossed my mind.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
It sounds like you were saying bigorexion is what it
sounds like.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
No, bigorexia.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
No, we haven't.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
Like I have context. So that's why my brain didn't
go there.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
We didn't have context. Our brains live there.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Go ahead.
Speaker 7 (08:35):
So doctors are raising alarm about this. It's a body
dysmorphic disorder that's on the rise in young boys and
young men. And it's flying under the radar because it
can look like dedication in the gym, just trying to
get bigger. But it's an obsession with getting as big
muscularly as possible.
Speaker 5 (08:57):
And it's called bigorexia.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
What's the orexia part of it? They don't know how
big they are?
Speaker 5 (09:02):
Well, yeah. They can't stop.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
I'm thinking of dysmorphia.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
Sometimes with body dysmorphia, you look in the mirror and
you don't see.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Let me reset that because I said something wrong. I
was confusing morphia with rexia because if you have anorexia,
it's not about what you see. It's just what you're
What you're doing, right?
Speaker 5 (09:18):
Well, both can happen at the same time.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (09:21):
They may not realize.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
How— I just want to be sensitive to that. So
I want to make sure.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Absolutely.
Speaker 7 (09:25):
They don't—they may or may not see what other people see,
but either way, the goal is to be as small
as possible with anorexia.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
And this is— the goal is to.
Speaker 7 (09:35):
Be as— we' ll use.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
The word buff as possible or strong as possible.
Speaker 6 (09:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
And— It's called bigorexia.
Speaker 5 (09:42):
Bigorexia.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Of the orexias, that'd be the one I'd prefer.
Speaker 8 (09:46):
Sure.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
Sure.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Who doesn't want to be buffed?
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Is there a preferable Rexia?
Speaker 5 (09:49):
I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Is that one healthy? I feel like that one's healthier.
Speaker 7 (09:52):
No, I mean, because I don't know what lengths they're
going through to get big.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
That's a good point. I don't I know nothing it.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
Can still be harmful but I just thought what I
found interesting is that it's flying under the radar people
aren't noticing it and like they're getting praise just like
sometimes with and in other eating disorders you might get
praise for like oh wow you've lost weight or you're
looking good and you don't know and like this is
like oh wow you're really hitting the gym you're working
hard you're huge man da da da But it's like
(10:17):
you don't know what they're actually going through to achieve that.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
And I don't know.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
I saw a guy the other day that he was
huge in his upper body, like huge. And then he
had skinny, skinny little legs. And I was wondering, like,
I wonder if he knows that.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
I do.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
For sure he knows.
Speaker 5 (10:35):
It wasn't you.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I do. It wasn't you.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
I'm very aware, okay?
Speaker 2 (10:40):
There's no need.
Speaker 7 (10:41):
Those videos you're putting up of Tim Tebow on the Bobbycast,
he looks massive.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
I'd like to say a couple things about that. One,
he is.
Speaker 7 (10:51):
Like, when he walked in, were you just like... I mean,
of course, he looks bigger than when we met him before.
Or is it just that he's tanner?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
He definitely was tan. A couple things about Tim Tebow.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
It's very much the Little Big Town effect. Do you
know what I mean by the Little Big Town effect? Yes.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
I think so. I can take a stab at it.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Take a stab.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
My stab would be that Little Big Town is... consistently kind.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Oh.
Speaker 7 (11:19):
Like, there's, they're never, like, some people can be on
and you may catch them on an off day.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
They've never been off.
Speaker 7 (11:25):
And they're, so you know that they're just genuinely showing
up as they are. So at the core, they are kind.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
She nailed it.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
That's it. And we've had so many opportunities and instances,
both professionally and personally.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Because I have different relationships with all four of them
at different levels, for sure, personally as well. And so
does Amy. Mm-hmm. They're awesome. All four of them.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
They are the best.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Over a decade.
Speaker 7 (11:51):
And their spouses are awesome.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
That's the little big town effect. If they were faking it,
it's the greatest fake job in the history of life.
Tim Tebow is that. Because I've now had four, and
I won't say instances. Some were instant. Some were much longer.
But he's been on this show before a long time
ago when he had a book. Remember the other studio?
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Yeah, I remember that.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
It was a long time ago. So he was great.
But most people that come in are great. Because they
know this is a pony show. Song and dance. Come in,
be funny, get out of here. But when I was
doing Paul Feinbaum's ESPN show, he was also doing some
ESPN work. And there was a tour bus that we
were just in because that show was outside. And he
(12:33):
comes in and it's like, Bobby, he sent me for
20 minutes. He didn't need to. He didn't have to.
But it was like all attention. Like he's totally focused.
Like it was just so nice. I saw him again
at a restaurant. Now this was much shorter because we
were at a restaurant at five minutes, Bobby. Oh my goodness.
This interview all before, all after. I mean, he, it's
(12:57):
a little big town syndrome. He is the greatest guy.
We now have the same agent as well. And so
we were talking a lot about that. Cause he's new
with my agent and he's like, what's what, you know,
here's why I work with them. And I was like, yeah, he's,
he's so honest. My agent's been on the show before.
I think he's so honest. Like sometimes there's news you
don't want to know, but he's so honest about it. And,
A lot of agents in my lifetime have been, I
(13:19):
won't say scummy, but not always transparent. But mine and
now Tim's is the best. You got bad news? He
don't give it to you. And so we talked about that.
And he's just such a kind guy. Then he's always
so much bigger every time that I remember him being.
(13:40):
Because when you see him on television, he seems short
because he's up against other football players. And he might
be 6'2 or 6'3. He's a giant. He's thick. He's muscular.
He's tan. And he's very tall. I've got to post
a picture. I'm in shoes.
Speaker 6 (13:56):
6'1.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Solid shoes. I had some shoes on yesterday that had
a little lift. I bet I won. I'm going to
be honest with you. If I went to the doctor,
I wouldn't have wore.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Those.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
On height measuring day, you wouldn't have worn them?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Yeah, I wouldn't have worn them. I was probably like
six foot and a half yesterday. I haven't thought about that. Which,
why am I thinking.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
About doing stuff like that?
Speaker 3 (14:15):
It's not a big deal. Bobby cares about that.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
My license says that, and I want to be true
to the government. Okay.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Fair enough.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah, thank you. He's the best. Tim Tebow is the
absolute best, and there's a Bobby cast up with him now,
and he is 6'3, listed at 240. He's gigantic. 240.
He has a young child as well. We talked a
lot about child trafficking in that podcast.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Yeah, he's really.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
He's really into it.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
Passionate about it.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
You know, he's a.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
we've talked a little bit before it goes on. I say,
I'm going to ask you about that. He goes, I'd
appreciate it if you'd ask me one question. Like, thank
you so much. But then I was just so curious
because we know it's a bad deal, but it's not
often talked about a lot. And I asked him, I
was like, if this is what it is and it's
so bad, why are we not talking about it more?
(15:04):
And then he gives the greatest reason. And he's like,
cause it's not comfortable for people to hear. People don't
want to hear about this.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
It's hard to wrap your head around it.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
And not even that, it's so gross and awful that
if someone's talking about it on social media, you just
get off of it. And he goes, you know, it's
so dark that people don't want to hear about it.
So it makes them uncomfortable. But we did 60% of
the show on just fun stuff. And he really just
thought I was going to ask him one question. He's
very grateful for it. I asked like seven because I
couldn't get enough of the information he was giving me
(15:34):
because my mind was blown. And I left and I
was both as a Casey Musgraves song would say happy
and sad at the same time, because he was great.
And the interview was great, but it's like what the
story he tells. So his dad was a preacher and missionary.
(15:54):
And there was a situation when they were in another
country and they came in and, uh, they, where they
were in this other country, they basically child trafficking was
pretty common. And, nobody would really say anything. It's something
that happened to his dad that was passed to him,
(16:16):
and it's personally why he's so involved.
Speaker 7 (16:17):
Okay, I was curious. I never knew why or how
he got so involved in that, which obviously, who cares
how it becomes something you want to be involved in
or to be able to spread awareness about because he's
a huge ally and resource to.
Speaker 5 (16:40):
Survivors of that, victims of that.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
And if you go to Netflix and watch it, because
those episodes, they like us to be a little under
an hour. So we had to trim out some of
the stuff about football and some of the stuff about
the trafficking. But if you go to the podcast version,
it's much longer. Right, Mike? The audio version?
Speaker 6 (17:00):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
And we definitely get... But that's up. And you're right.
He's huge and he's awesome. And I can't say enough
nice things about him. And I'm not a Gator fan.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
But, you know.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
And he even beat us in the SEC championship the
one time we went and I was there. And he
thought it was so funny I was there. I was like,
shut up, dude.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
I saw him. He said, like, sorry, not sorry.
Speaker 5 (17:18):
I don't know how y'all remember, like, details about games.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Oh, yeah, I saw you write that.
Speaker 7 (17:21):
Yeah, because it's like so– it's not just that example.
It's many where y'all are like, oh, yeah, that game.
I mean, do you know how many football games Tim
Tebow has played? And he can recall, like– Exactly what happened.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Yeah, it's like you guys dropped the pint, ready to register.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
Like that's crazy to me.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
So I got a question.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Does he tell you like how you can spot it?
Because I see those signs at the airport all the time.
Be on the lookout for trafficking. And I'm like, how
would I know when I'm at an airport what trafficking
looks like?
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Yeah, you're right. And we talk about that a little bit,
but sometimes you can't. It's not even in a place
that you can see. And a lot of it too
is done by leverage, meaning... It's not like they're just
hauling somebody. Because trafficking would feel like you just throw
them in a car and drive them.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Kidnapping.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
But they just have them because they either, financially, they
can't get out. In other countries, they threaten to kill
their parents. They have their passports.
Speaker 7 (18:14):
Drugs.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Drugs.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Yeah, drugs.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
They drug them.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Yes, that's talked about, too. Okay, because I always see
that in the airport, and I'm like, look out for it.
What am I looking for? Because I look at people,
and I'm like, I couldn't tell.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
I feel like you could see if someone looks like
they don't want to be with the people they're with.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Yeah, but dude, sometimes your sons don't want to be
with you. I see it.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
And they're like, what the heck?
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:36):
That's true. Isn't there a code? Or is that on TikTok?
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Probably both.
Speaker 5 (18:42):
Like a hand signal that you're supposed to look for?
Speaker 2 (18:44):
But then don't you think the traffickers know the codes too?
Like find their algorithm and they know the codes so
they're watching.
Speaker 5 (18:48):
Yeah, but they're driving.
Speaker 7 (18:49):
I'm saying, isn't there a story in the news where
a girl did it out the window and it ended
up saving her life? But what's scary about it all
now too is A lot of the stuff we're talking
about right now, at least these examples are in person,
but so much of it is internet driven too.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
Like these videos and- It's five, four, fist. Five, four, fist.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
That's the sign?
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Yeah. It's a human trafficking hand signal. Okay. I believe
that's correct, Mike.
Speaker 9 (19:14):
That is it.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Five, four, like thumb in, fist.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Look at him, dude. That's the sign.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I know he's practicing it.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
That's the sign.
Speaker 9 (19:22):
Five, four, fist.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Do your hands work properly?
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Five, four, fist.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
So how would they, but see, how would they do
that if they're walking with their person, right?
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Let's just say you're walking beside someone and you're just
doing it down below your waist.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
Like hoping somebody sees you. Just like the person did
out of the car window.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
You're not holding your hand up like five, yeah. A
16-year-old girl from North Carolina was rescued in Kentucky November
2021 after using the viral signal for help hand gesture.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
A passing motorist. That's the story you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
When was that?
Speaker 6 (19:52):
2022.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
One.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
2021.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Because I'm like, okay, so now I'm going to be
walking to the airport.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
No, no, you don't do it. You look for it.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yeah, you don't do the sign.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
That's what I'm saying. I'm going to be looking for it.
And I'm worried that someone may be just like their hand.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Could you then you watch twice? And then if not,
and if you see it twice, maybe... And then I
just tackle? No, you just go, hey, I think you
dropped this or something. Just see if... Okay. What that
dynamic is. But again, it's going to be difficult.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yeah, that's the one thing I'm always like, man, I
just have no idea how to tell.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
I just didn't expect to be so interested, and I
don't want that word to feel positive, in... what he's
doing and what's happening to these children. But I found
myself compelled to continue asking questions about it because I
wanted to know more so than he was like, you
need to talk about this with me. Cause he wasn't
(20:47):
like that at all, but it's up. Hope you listen
to it. Getting a lot of great messages about it.
The two things are that in the nineties podcast that
we're doing, which I guess I get so offended at
people for no reason.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (21:01):
I just shouldn't, I just, I have this permanent chip
on my shoulder. I stay looking for a reason. To
be motivated. And I've had a few people go, hey,
I listened to that 90s podcast you guys did because
we did so far five episodes are out. Another one
comes out today? Yeah, one's up today. So 90, 91, 92, 93, 94.
And then today, 95's out. And they said, it's the
(21:23):
best thing you've done. And I'm thinking, no, no, no,
I've done a lot more than that. You think it's
the best thing I've done? Do you think I suck?
Speaker 3 (21:27):
No, no, no, it's a compliment.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
I can rationalize that, but that's where inside my guts goes. Like,
you think this is the best thing I've done? So
you don't think I'm not that good because, I mean,
all we did was a lot of research and I.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Read it.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
So I suck to you, huh?
Speaker 3 (21:42):
But if you know what you're thinking is irrational, how
come you can't skip that? And this is just a
deep question, stupid.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
Deep and stupid.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yeah, yeah. If you know that it's irrational, how come
you can't just be like, that's irrational?
Speaker 2 (21:56):
But I can, and I did. I have awareness of it,
but it doesn't mean my visceral, like my... Reaction. Yeah,
is not going to be that of being offended.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Got it. So, but are you still offended?
Speaker 4 (22:06):
No. Okay.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
But I know the... No, I'm not offended. I just
know I shouldn't feel that way. Like, I have enough
awareness of it that I can counter it. But it's
like when someone tells me... And this is not me
just glazing myself, I promise you. But if someone tells me, man,
you're so talented, I'd get pissed off.
Speaker 6 (22:25):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
That's weird.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
That's weird.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Because.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
I'm not talented.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
You are talented.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
I'm not.
Speaker 5 (22:29):
Would you want to hear you've worked so hard?
Speaker 6 (22:31):
Yeah. Okay.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
You've really worked hard for.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
To be talented?
Speaker 2 (22:35):
No, talented is natural. And I don't feel, last night
I was on the phone for like 45 minutes and
I didn't know the guy beforehand. But I had someone
that I respect in the industry say, hey, there is this,
he has a morning show in Tampa on like the
hot AC pop station. And he said, he's a fan
(22:56):
of yours. And the person that asked me this is
really high up in a different company. He said, he's
a fan of yours and there's some real potential in him.
And I think he's 29 or 30. Do you mind
giving him a call and just kind of talking with him?
So I called him, talked to him for about an
hour last night, just asking about his story, what he
wanted to do, how I can help him. And I
(23:16):
don't think I know any answers, but I know that
I've been through a lot and I have experience to share.
So I'm never going to be the guy that knows
how to give you an answer, but I can be
the guy that's probably done it wrong and I can
share it with you. And so I talked to him
last night for a long time and how did I
get on this? Cause I feel like I had a point.
Speaker 5 (23:33):
You're so talented.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
You worked hard.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yeah. And he was, uh, he was asking about, you know, like,
like how, how did you do this stuff? And I said, man,
if there's anything that you can look at me for,
it's that I have no talent, very little. And I
was able to do some crazy things. If you just
look at it individually, I've written two New York times, bestsellers,
(23:57):
a kid's bestseller. I've won a dance show. I'm the
youngest member of the Radio Hall of Fame. Not only that,
the biggest thing is us doing the show for 20 years.
And it shouldn't happen except for I just was fearless
in doing it. And I don't have fear of doing
it wrong to figure out how to do it right.
But it is not talent-based. My talent is understanding that
(24:19):
I don't know the answers, but I can figure them out.
That's a talent, huh? Is tenacity a talent? Probably not.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
I don't know what that means.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Drive, man.
Speaker 6 (24:28):
Fight.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Tenacity.
Speaker 6 (24:30):
Fight.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Repeat. Not a talent.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
Tenacity is just, yeah, not giving up.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Or are you given that tenacity? Could that be?
Speaker 2 (24:37):
I don't think it was given. I think I.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
Formed.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
I do think, to be fair, I do think I
was born.
Speaker 4 (24:46):
Smart.
Speaker 6 (24:47):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
I do think that's. And smart's a weird thing to say,
but I do think I have the ability to process quickly.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
That's so cool, dude.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
To process quickly, to think. I'm great at discernment, and
I see politicians, and I'm like, they are the biggest
snake oil salesmen. They don't care anything about people. This
is all I, and I look around, I'm like, how
do people not know this? Why are people loving them
when it's obvious they don't care any?
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Right.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
So, yeah, I had a great talk with him last night.
I was like, it is not about talent. Nothing's about talent.
It's about showing up over and over again, and when
it doesn't work, Do it again. But that was it.
I never talk on the phone. Talked for 46 minutes
last night.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
That phone gets hot, huh?
Speaker 2 (25:29):
The bottom of my phone was hot. I couldn't believe it.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
When I talk to my brother for a long time,
I'm like, God, it's burning my ear.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
What?
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (25:37):
Like, recall.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
All right. I think we went a little long there.
Speaker 5 (25:44):
So, bigorexia.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
It sounds like you're saying big erection.
Speaker 8 (25:47):
Still.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
All of us thought that.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
I thought you were going to say it again, Amy.
Speaker 5 (25:50):
I know, but that's where we started. So who's next?
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Let's go quickly because we were going to do Tuesday
Reviews Day. It's Wednesday, I know. We're going to do
Wednesday Reviews Day, but Tuesday Reviews Day coming up. Lunchbox,
go with yours.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
You want 16 or pregnant or the challenge?
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Just flip the coin, dude.
Speaker 5 (26:08):
Surprise us.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Literally.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
Yeah, like whatever.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
I'd rather have big erection.
Speaker 5 (26:11):
16 and pregnant. 16 and pregnant.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Yeah, what's crazy is Chelsea Halska, her daughter turned 17,
and so that is the same age that when Chelsea
had her baby. So she now has a daughter the
same age. So Chelsea has been in my life for
17 years, and they were celebrating her birthday, and she
was like, it's crazy to think that she's the same
age as when I had her. That's pretty crazy.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
Pretty crazy.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
I can't believe it's been that long.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Yeah, and it is crazy, though. There's a girl that
I went to high school with. She was a teen mom. And, like,
the whole school knew. And she posts pictures of her
on Facebook now. And it's like, that's crazy. She's, like,
in college. Older than she was when she had her.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
For me, it's when I see professional athletes' kids now
being professional athletes.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
I know.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
That's crazy. That's weird. That's crazy.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Eddie?
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Okay, so do you remember the days when you could
walk your family member or your loved one to the
gate as they're flying off?
Speaker 2 (27:03):
The airport, back before 9-11.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Yes, the good old days. Well, now TSA is doing
something where in 13 airports, they're trying it out where
you can do that again, but you do have to
have TSA pre-check, and you got to let them know
a couple days in advance that you're going to go,
and then you can go straight to the gate with
your friends.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
That's terrible, man.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
You have to promise I'm going to have a bomb
in your shoe? Like, I promise I don't have a
bomb in my shoe.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Well, it's the same as if you were flying somewhere.
You just don't have a boarding pass.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Is it a different kind of pass, though?
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Yeah, you have to have a different kind of pass
that's got to get okayed by them two days before
you show up.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
I don't mind that.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
It's kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Especially for kids.
Speaker 6 (27:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
No, they let you. If you have kids, now you
can do it. But a 14-year-old? Yeah, you can go
to the gate until they get on the plane. They
have passes for that. But I don't want that. If
my wife is flying somewhere, I don't need to spend
an hour sitting at the gate with her.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
You don't need to, but some people might want to.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Or you can go have a meal with her at
one of the restaurants.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
That's okay.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
I'd rather just drop them off and be able to
be back home in 10 minutes.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
But that's you.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
That's you.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
I think 90% of Americans would... You drop them off
at the airport.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
All right.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
I don't need to sit there for two hours.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Okay. Eddie, good story.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
I mean, I thought it was kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
It's interesting. I saw that. It's interesting.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
They're trying it in 13 airports, but pretty soon, hopefully
it'll be all of them.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Have you seen the clip of the Elizabeth Holmes documentary
coming out?
Speaker 6 (28:20):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Oh, is that Theranos? Theranos?
Speaker 7 (28:22):
Yes, I don't know why I was thinking of Elizabeth Smart,
but yes, she... But when is it released?
Speaker 2 (28:27):
This looks good. So it's my favorite guy in the
history of television alive, Nathan Felder.
Speaker 10 (28:31):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Who did Nathan for You, and then he did the
show that you thought was weird.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Yeah, the airplane one, the pilot one.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
What's it called? The rehearsal.
Speaker 5 (28:39):
The rehearsal. So she let... Cameras in.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
He lived with her.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
He lived with her.
Speaker 9 (28:44):
Wait, it's a documentary?
Speaker 1 (28:45):
I thought it was a real movie.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
No, no.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
They've already done that sort of thing.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
And this was shot two weeks before she's going to prison, right? Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
I'm not sure the exact amount of time. I thought
it was a little longer than that. I thought he
lived with her for like 30 days. But regardless, I'm
such a fan of him. Like anything he puts out,
consider me there. But also with her and that clip
of her being like, I'm telling you the truth.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
And he's just staring.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
It's freaky.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
And also, when she goes to jail, because I saw
this in a story, he gets Amanda Seyfried to be
her because he's talking to her in prison, but she
can't be filmed in prison, so he has Amanda Seyfried
act out what she's saying. And Amanda Seyfried played her
in the movie.
Speaker 5 (29:24):
The documentary. What do they call that?
Speaker 3 (29:26):
The miniseries.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
The miniseries.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Whatever.
Speaker 5 (29:28):
So it comes out. Oh, we have to wait until
October 16th? That's like a month.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
That's a month. That's not very far.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
That's really not long.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Five weeks.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
You're going to go to the theater for that one?
Speaker 2 (29:38):
For sure.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Oh wow.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
Absolutely.
Speaker 6 (29:40):
Theater?
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
This isn't even streaming.
Speaker 9 (29:43):
Breaking news.
Speaker 5 (29:44):
Let's all go together.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
No, no, no.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
I wouldn't enjoy that. I am such a fan of him.
I would go with Mike and that's it because we
would shut up and not even talk to each other
and look forward. It'd be like every other. Amy says,
I don't talk.
Speaker 9 (29:58):
I won't talk.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
Yes, you will. No, I won't. I don't want the distractions.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
You'll be like, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
So it's multiple things. One, it's Elizabeth Hollins before she
went to prison. And she's talking in her normal voice.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Oh, she's not talking deep anymore?
Speaker 2 (30:11):
And then it's Nathan Felder who, man.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
You love.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
Love.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
I mean, to me, my favorite performance artist of all
time is Andy Kaufman. And I was talking to a
friend yesterday. He's like, I didn't get it. I didn't
think it was all funny. It's not all funny. It's
him just seeing how people react. And that's a lot
of how.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
But it was funny to him.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Yeah, Nathan Felder does. But yeah, that's what's up. That's
all I got. Cool. Everybody good?
Speaker 3 (30:36):
You're not going to the movie theater for that.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
I will go. If I can, I will go opening night.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
That's great. You believe me.
Speaker 6 (30:43):
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Wow.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
By yourself?
Speaker 2 (30:46):
I would go to that by myself.
Speaker 6 (30:47):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
On opening night, nude. Wow. It just keeps getting weirder
and weirder.
Speaker 11 (30:52):
What?
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Okay, let's break.
Speaker 6 (30:55):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
I'm a little bit embarrassed. Made myself cringe a little
yesterday because I did not know what I was doing
on Instagram. And I didn't mean to hit the button.
And I took an instant. You ever see those stupid instants?
Speaker 5 (31:07):
Yeah, I don't know how to do it.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Okay, so all it is, is a quick picture that
you take. It's unedited. It goes right to people that
you follow. They follow you. It's just that. I didn't
know it just popped up in everyone's. So I hit it.
I'm like, oh crap, I didn't mean to load that.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
So what were you doing?
Speaker 2 (31:24):
It was a terrible picture. Did you not get it?
Speaker 5 (31:27):
Well, let me go into my... I don't even... I
just see them randomly pop up sometimes.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
I don't know where that is.
Speaker 9 (31:32):
I didn't see it, no.
Speaker 11 (31:33):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Well, I started to get messages back.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
Okay, hold on. Oh, I got it. Oh, there you are.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
It makes no sense. It's a terrible picture.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
It looks like you're in a fishbowl.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
I'm in a sauna.
Speaker 6 (31:42):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
And so.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Or that.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
All I know is I did not mean to send it.
Everybody got it. And then I got a message from
Ronnie Dunn yesterday.
Speaker 7 (31:49):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
And he was like, hey, I just got your picture.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (31:53):
It looks like you sent him that.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 10 (31:57):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
So did he send one back?
Speaker 4 (31:59):
No.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Okay. And I said, I didn't mean to send that.
He goes, yeah, he did. And are you coming to
the show? I'm going to the Brooks and Dunn show Saturday.
And so we did start talking, but I can imagine
him getting that picture and going. Did he just text
me a picture of his face?
Speaker 6 (32:12):
Right.
Speaker 2 (32:12):
Then I get three other messages from dudes that I
know that I work with professionally. They're like, hey, you
just sent me a picture. I'm so embarrassed that I
sent that out.
Speaker 7 (32:19):
Because where you access it, now I remember, it is
in your DM.
Speaker 5 (32:23):
So it looks as.
Speaker 7 (32:24):
Though you could just be sending it to one person,
even though you're sending it to everybody.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
It is weird. I don't get the point of it.
And now I feel old.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
I just felt stupid.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
So that was me yesterday. That was my number one
embarrassing moment. My number two moment was not embarrassing, but
it was a little uncomfortable. I'm outside. We have two dogs.
And we have Stanley, the bulldog, who never runs more
than 10 feet away, mostly because he doesn't run anywhere.
He's fat. He's kind of old. He's a bulldog, but
he's awesome. So I'm hanging out with him. And I
(32:59):
have to go out when he goes out so he
doesn't wander and go into the pool because if he
goes into the pool, he definitely drowns. Bulldogs cannot swim.
So anytime he goes out, I go out with him.
Eller is our half hound, half husky, and she loves
to hunt. So we have some woods on her property.
She loves to just go out and chase animals, and
it's how she gets her exercise most of the time.
(33:19):
We have a lot of these little bunnies near our yard,
and she's hunted them before, and she's brought them back
from the woods. I see her see one 70 feet
from me. I see her eyeball it, turn her head,
go into the stalk mode. Slow, slow. Go on. I'm
(33:42):
watching the circle of life in front of me. She
grabs the bunny. And I hear squeal. Yes, the squeal.
Speaker 5 (33:55):
I've had my dog, unfortunately, in a similar situation.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
And then she turns around and looks at me like,
I did it, Dad.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
Check it out.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
It's like she's my sixth grade son who scored a touchdown.
Speaker 6 (34:05):
It's like, I did it.
Speaker 7 (34:07):
But you're not running towards her being like, drop it,
drop it, drop it.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
What can you do?
Speaker 6 (34:13):
Well.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Start the life.
Speaker 4 (34:15):
Right.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
And then she just went out in the woods with it.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
And did what?
Speaker 3 (34:18):
We don't want to know.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Who knows?
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Probably ate it.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
Do you think so? Yes.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Because sometimes she'll eat or tear it up and then
bring it back as a gift.
Speaker 5 (34:26):
Oh, nice.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Like, look what I brought you. But I watched it
and I heard that. And then I told my wife
and I shouldn't have. I was like, I watched all
her tracking videos. That's what, genetically, that's what they have
been doing their whole life. Their life, the life before them,
the life before them, the life before them. Hounds. Like,
we had deer dogs, and they weren't mixes like ellers.
(34:50):
But they were hounds. Now, we would just try to
get in front of them. So they would, dup, dup, dup, dup.
They would yap. We'd listen to which way they were going.
Then you'd try to cut them off and get so
far ahead of them because they're obviously on a deer. So, yeah.
Then we had bird dogs. They would just point. and
not go until you said go, yeah, there's none of that.
(35:12):
She wasn't yapping. She wasn't pointing. She just attacked. It
was just kind of like, oh, cool. I could do
something fun today. So that was it. Those are my
two things. Anything happen with you yesterday at all?
Speaker 7 (35:24):
I picked out my clothes for iHeart Festival, so that
felt really good.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
That's cool.
Speaker 7 (35:28):
I'm going to have to get some alterations today, but
it feels good to be ahead because sometimes I'm just
a very last-minute packer, but I feel ready to go.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Lunchbox, obviously you're going now.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Yeah, I'm going.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Did you pick out your clothes?
Speaker 1 (35:41):
No, I haven't done that yet. I need to get
on that.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Are you doing any work?
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Actually, I am now.
Speaker 5 (35:48):
They asked him.
Speaker 6 (35:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
But they're not paying.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
I would say no, right?
Speaker 2 (35:51):
I'm paying for you.
Speaker 6 (35:52):
I know.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
So let me get this straight.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
I wasn't going to bring it up.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
I'm paying for you to go out there and they're
still saying you have to work.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Yeah, they said, you know, since we don't have a
digital person there, could you run the Bobby Bones Show
social media account and cover the festival?
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Hmm. How do you feel about that?
Speaker 6 (36:14):
Ah, man.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
I was like, ah, here we go.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
I should be like refunded money.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
Because, yeah, you paid for him.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
I paid for the guy to have a vacation.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I was just going
out there to celebrate, you know, like let loose for
a while.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
I'm a little surprised.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
And so now I'm like, well, I mean, it's kind
of one of those things. Like, how do you look
at the boss and be like, no, I won't do it.
So it's like, are they paying for your room? They
did talk about maybe getting me a room.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
Now we're talking.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Now we're in the mix. If they're going to get
you and your wife a room, I definitely think that you,
if you accept the room, you definitely owe a little something. Yeah.
You don't have to do all the things like you
normally do.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
Yeah, and you're a team player.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
Okay, okay. I'm still paying for this flight, though.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Yeah, 7 a.m.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Flight.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
You don't wear a bracelet?
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Probably no bracelets, man. Probably not.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
The jewelry he wears.
Speaker 5 (37:09):
Oh, yes, the bracelets.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
That was a weird time in my life.
Speaker 9 (37:14):
What was going on?
Speaker 2 (37:15):
You were still finding yourself or what?
Speaker 1 (37:17):
Yeah, I was trying to discover myself, and Ryan put
those on me, and I was like, man, I can't
believe I'm wearing these. So I haven't really consulted Ryan
lately on what I should wear.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
If you guys want to call us, we'd love to
hear from you. 877-77-BOBBY. Sandra Bullock says she texts Keanu
Reeves and it takes a full day for him to
text back. I have a friend like that, that I
know it's messaging a bottle digitally. That one day that
bottle is going to get across the sea and hopefully
land somewhere. I have a very close friend that he
(37:50):
has been that close. consistently poor at replying for seven
years and i think well if i need them i
will text them today hopefully for a response tomorrow yeah
and that's weird but it it's consistent it's like the
What did the Hamburglar used to say?
Speaker 4 (38:09):
Rabble, rabble.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
No, wrong guy. The other guy from McDonald's, he'd be like,
if you give me a burger today, I'll give you
two burgers tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
Remember him?
Speaker 6 (38:16):
No.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
I don't know who that is.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
You guys remember all the McDonald's people? Is this a
commercial or something? He had to like the... Don't worry,
I'll think about it.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
But yeah, she said he likes to be zen and
he doesn't respond because he likes to think about his response.
Speaker 7 (38:30):
Okay, two things immediately when you share this story. One,
I thought Keanu Reeves died.
Speaker 6 (38:36):
What?
Speaker 1 (38:37):
Two.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
Why did you think he died? He died.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
What is wrong with you?
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Christopher? Y'all didn't see that he- Christopher Reeves died in
the 80s.
Speaker 5 (38:45):
No, no, no, no. Y'all didn't see last week that
Keanu Reeves died?
Speaker 8 (38:48):
No.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
We don't know what algorithm you're on. Because it's not true.
Speaker 5 (38:52):
I almost texted you like, oh my, but we were.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Because I'd have been sad. That's my guy.
Speaker 5 (38:56):
I know, but we were on a break. And then also,
Sandra Bullock's 62.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
62.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
That seems right.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Good point. I mean— It's interesting because she looks like
she's 40.
Speaker 6 (39:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Because I saw her and Nicole Kidman doing some press for,
I believe, Practical Magic 2?
Speaker 9 (39:12):
Yes, that's what it was for.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
And they both look like they're late 30s or 40s.
I was like, dang, how does that happen? I know.
How do you state that?
Speaker 5 (39:18):
I guess genetics.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
By the way, I'm the opposite for the most part.
If you text me and my phone's with me, you
will get a response in two seconds, and it will
be typo central because I don't— don't look at it.
He likes to be zen and think about it. I
think none and just start slapping buttons with thumbs. Mike,
what's the guy's name?
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Wimpy?
Speaker 9 (39:37):
Yeah, from Popeye.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
That's from Popeye, not McDonald's?
Speaker 3 (39:41):
Way off. Interesting.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
I'll pay you gladly Tuesday for a hamburger today. It
was a hamburger.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (39:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
Any friends that text slow?
Speaker 5 (39:51):
Maybe me sometimes.
Speaker 9 (39:53):
Depends.
Speaker 5 (39:54):
I can be super fast or super slow depending on.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
Yeah, I don't really consider you a slow texter.
Speaker 5 (40:00):
Oh, with you, I'm always on it.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
Oh, all right. Appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (40:03):
Because you're always on it.
Speaker 5 (40:05):
Yeah, you're always on it.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
So we have to be on it.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
If I'm not on it, I'm in a recording session.
Speaker 4 (40:10):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
And we know that.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
Or I'm asleep.
Speaker 7 (40:12):
And I feel like if you're texting me, it's about
something that I need to respond to. Other things I
can get. distracted like this you know um.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
So eddie doesn't talk in group chats it's annoying i
can't stand he'll get in a group chat because all
all me i'm mexican me and all my mexican friends
we have a group chat called like latinos for dallas cowboys.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
Yeah latino cowboys yeah and so you're.
Speaker 8 (40:36):
White i know but am i really yes okay honorary
yeah right i mean all my friends are mexican or
latino or hispanic you know and that's all day it's
all different but you know sometimes i uh And Eddie
doesn't talk, and he's the biggest Cowboys fan, and he's
in the group.
Speaker 3 (40:51):
Because you guys are never asking me a question. You're
just throwing out things.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
We're posting funny memes.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
Yeah, and it's like, what do you want me to do?
Say ha-ha?
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
Hit the little ha-ha. If you think it's ha-ha, you
got a ha-ha.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
It's our culture.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
It's our culture.
Speaker 5 (41:04):
No, well, shouldn't it be ja-ja?
Speaker 2 (41:06):
Good point.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
We don't say ja-ja.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
I should, though. I should, though, to really embrace. Thank you.
I'm going to do ja-ja-ja-ja-ja-ja-ja.
Speaker 9 (41:12):
Ja-ja-ja-ja-ja-ja.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
You guys, you want to be on? We do have
some people that are on the phone right now. 877-77-BOBBY.
Be back in a second. I want to talk to
Garrett in Tampa. Hey, Garrett, you talked to us a
few weeks ago? Yes.
Speaker 6 (41:30):
No, actually, I just sent you an email, or I'm sorry,
a DM on Instagram like 30 minutes ago asking the
show for advice on trying to get a job.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
Hold on, hold on, hold on. Did you send it
to me or the show?
Speaker 4 (41:44):
I'd send it to you.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on. Don't say anything yet.
Let's see, let me go over to my DMs here.
You only go on Tuesdays, for the record?
Speaker 6 (41:52):
What?
Speaker 2 (41:52):
This feels like I'm walking in a bad neighborhood right now,
late at night. It's okay, we're with you.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Thank you. You're not alone.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
You're not alone. Okay, do you mind if I read
some of this, Garrett?
Speaker 6 (42:04):
Yeah, just keep out the specifics.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
You got it. Good morning, Bobby. I could use some advice.
Speaker 4 (42:11):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
I left this job after a long time. It's been
a bit of a struggle. He has some experience in
the military. Just say that. Okay. And he's barely getting interviews.
I am using AI to find new postings and tailoring
my resume, and I could use some advice. It's frustrating.
I'd love to hear what you think. Hey, that's in
(42:34):
a nutshell. Okay.
Speaker 4 (42:36):
Summary.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
Here's me in a nutshell.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
Is that one?
Speaker 2 (42:41):
Here's me in a. Austin Powers, what is that one?
It's a nutshell. Garrett, okay, so you're right. You sent
that to me 38 minutes ago. There's already breaking news?
Speaker 5 (42:56):
Wait, so wait, he DMed and now he's calling?
Speaker 2 (42:58):
That's what I'm saying. He's calling to be a DM.
Speaker 3 (43:01):
What's the news?
Speaker 6 (43:03):
So I sent that message at 8.56 on my way
over to an appointment over at the VA clinic and
I pull into the parking lot of the VA clinic
and I decided to go through my emails. Uh, and
I have a job offer for a job that I
wasn't sure, you know, if I, if I was going to, um,
get the job, the job or not, there was a
(43:24):
lot of people trying to, trying to compete for the
same position. And it's a pretty senior position. And, um,
It's about 30 K more than I expected, uh, on
the salary offer. But, um, yeah, I got a job
offer literally 12 minutes before I sent that DM to you.
And I just hadn't seen it yet in my email.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Um, Bobby comes through again.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
I did it. I don't like to take a lot
of credit, but you know what? I did it.
Speaker 4 (43:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (43:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
You're welcome.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Hey, that's really exciting.
Speaker 3 (43:54):
Garrett.
Speaker 2 (43:55):
Seriously. I, I, Because I read your whole story here
and I left a bunch out, but it seems like
you've been going through it. But how do you feel now?
Are you relieved?
Speaker 4 (44:03):
Oh, I'm super relieved.
Speaker 6 (44:07):
And at the same time, my wife was looking for
a new job and what was crazy to me and
kind of felt it was hard to deal with the
fact that she... I was looking for a job for
about a week and was already hired back on with
a new company and everything. And I was like, you know,
(44:27):
which is awesome for my wife. But for me, I'm like,
what am I doing wrong? Because I've been looking since
June and couldn't find anything.
Speaker 4 (44:35):
That's fantastic.
Speaker 6 (44:37):
It was definitely a big win for sure.
Speaker 2 (44:39):
The luck of the DMs. And what I was going
to do, I was actually going to just give him $ 30, 000,
but since he's getting that more, I don't need to anymore. Wow, wow, wow. Seriously, congratulations, man.
We love to hear good news there. So when do
you start? Do you know?
Speaker 6 (44:56):
I'm not sure yet. I'm waiting on the official requisition
ID and everything to be through HR and whatnot.
Speaker 4 (45:02):
So, yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
Pretty cool. Hey, can I say how many Middle East
deployments you've had or no?
Speaker 4 (45:09):
Yeah, yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 11 (45:10):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
He's had three Middle East deployments.
Speaker 3 (45:12):
Dang.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
Dang. And now he's done with that? That's awesome that
you did that because I didn't.
Speaker 5 (45:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
None of us did. No, I didn't.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
I'm scared. They recruited me, obviously, because I had a
really high ACT score. And they were like, we'll make
you a general immediately or whatever.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
Five star.
Speaker 5 (45:31):
You're just like totally making all of this up right now.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
No, an officer.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
They said they made me an officer like right after
boot camp.
Speaker 4 (45:35):
They did.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
They did. Okay, but why do you say general? No, general,
I was kidding.
Speaker 5 (45:39):
What boot camp? But really, they did recruit, try to
recruit you?
Speaker 3 (45:42):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (45:43):
Okay, well, yeah.
Speaker 5 (45:43):
I mean, if you went to college, you could be
an officer.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
But it wasn't that. They said I could not go
to college.
Speaker 4 (45:49):
No.
Speaker 5 (45:50):
What? Really?
Speaker 3 (45:52):
Are you making this up?
Speaker 2 (45:53):
I promise. The general part, I was just being funny.
Speaker 5 (45:56):
You're telling me without a.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
I had recruits come to my house because my ACT
score was so high.
Speaker 6 (46:01):
Really?
Speaker 2 (46:01):
And they said, if you will join and go through basic,
I don't think they said boot camp. This is, guys, also...
This is a long time ago. And they said if
you go through basic, as soon as you finish, you
will be in officer school immediately.
Speaker 5 (46:12):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
And I am a wimp. And I have the heart
of a caterpillar, not of a lion. And so, therefore,
I'm thankful to people like Garrett and other people who
actually go and do this because I quivered just getting
the person coming to my door offering that to me. So, Garrett,
does that sound like something that could have happened? Because
I don't think I made that up.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
It's not.
Speaker 4 (46:36):
Yeah, it sounds like something that could happen.
Speaker 6 (46:38):
Yeah, go to basic training and then go through OCS
right afterwards. So it's definitely something that could happen. Not
that recruiters won't lie to you or anything.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
Officer Cool School.
Speaker 3 (46:49):
OCS?
Speaker 2 (46:51):
What's OCS stand for?
Speaker 5 (46:51):
Candidate.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Oh, candidate, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:53):
I thought that was off-campus suspension.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
Hey, you know what? Everybody gets a different OCS. Garrett,
I'm so excited for you, man. I'm telling some jokes here,
but I'm so excited and I'm so grateful that you–
Did three tours and served, and people like me need
people like you. So congratulations on the job.
Speaker 4 (47:11):
I appreciate it, guys. Thanks so much, Joe. All right.
See you, buddy.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
That's pretty cool. I mean, he literally messaged me 30
minutes ago.
Speaker 3 (47:17):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
Then had an update. Can I go to Joy, please,
who is listening in North Carolina? Hello, Joy.
Speaker 5 (47:24):
Hey, Bobby.
Speaker 7 (47:27):
Morning, studio.
Speaker 6 (47:27):
Morning.
Speaker 11 (47:31):
So, cool question. I was listening to the segment about
Lunchbox going and being recruited by your job after you're
paying for him to go to do some social media
work because you guys don't have a social media person anymore.
That led me to think, is there any thought about
bringing back best bits but with a different person on
the show? Because, like, I love it. I love recounting
the main segments throughout the week. So, I was wondering
(47:54):
if you put any thought about bringing that segment back
on the weekends.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
I have. Breaking news.
Speaker 9 (47:58):
Breaking news!
Speaker 3 (48:00):
Breaking news! Yes.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
So the outrage, the kickoff Kevin didn't get featured on
our Instagram.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
Oh, I remember that.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Has created a groundswell of just support. Anytime I post anything,
it's like, where's kickoff Kevin? So he has now become
beloved by our audience. Because he came on, he was sad.
He was sad he wasn't on.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
On the Father's Day.
Speaker 4 (48:21):
He got vulnerable.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
It was Father's Day, yes.
Speaker 5 (48:23):
Like it was a vulnerable moment.
Speaker 2 (48:24):
He was like, I'm part of the show. I may
not be on that often, but I'm part of the
show and I have kids. I'd like to be in
the Father's Day show. Carousel on Instagram.
Speaker 5 (48:30):
And then he left our group chat.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
And then he left the group chat.
Speaker 6 (48:33):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
I left before, but yes.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
Because of that.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Because of that, yes. And so Kickoff Kevin's been on
the show and with us for how many years?
Speaker 3 (48:40):
Five.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
Yeah, a little over five.
Speaker 3 (48:42):
Jeez.
Speaker 4 (48:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (48:43):
I know.
Speaker 2 (48:44):
I hired Kickoff Kevin. He was just a guy off
the streets. Tattoos.
Speaker 6 (48:47):
Wow, really?
Speaker 2 (48:47):
I was like, do you got a job, sir?
Speaker 3 (48:49):
Homeless?
Speaker 4 (48:50):
No.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
No, he's not like that.
Speaker 4 (48:52):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
On Broadway.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
And so he came in and he was just like
a part-time like countdown guy. whatever it was but he
slowly moved up and he is like such a vital
part of the operation he produces lots to say my
NFL show he produces and his part on air on
the our 25 whistles he does so much for this
show and when he got sad listeners said you need
to include him more so I went to him and
(49:15):
I said do you want to do best bits and
take it over and he said yes so very soon
kickoff Kevin will be hosting the best bits.
Speaker 1 (49:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (49:25):
I want to thank all you guys in this room,
glass room too. For the time and for the support
and the listeners. I mean, to your point, social media
the last month or so, I've gotten a lot of
tags from the listeners that are like, where is Kickoff Kevin?
A lot of DMs like, hey, we love you. You know,
I'm sorry you had to go through that. We support you.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
Go through that. You just didn't get put up on a... Hey,
I'm just saying what they told me.
Speaker 12 (49:50):
I didn't say any of this. They DMed me and
they commented a lot of support. So I appreciate that
to all the listeners and to you guys and Yeah,
this is very exciting.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
The listeners have spoken, and Kickoff Kevin will be hosting
Best Bits every weekend. Joy, so I was not prepared
to announce it today, but I felt like, why not?
So I don't know if it's this weekend or not,
but maybe by next weekend we'll be rocking and rolling.
Speaker 11 (50:18):
Okay, that's awesome. I've been in Alabama for like two months,
so I thought I missed an update or something. So
that's awesome to hear.
Speaker 3 (50:23):
Congrats, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (50:25):
Thank you. Yes, Lunchbox.
Speaker 1 (50:26):
Does that mean we have to do the interview portion?
Speaker 4 (50:28):
No, you don't.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Yes, you don't.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
Thank God.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
You don't.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
That was the first thing I asked.
Speaker 3 (50:33):
Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 2 (50:34):
You weren't really supposed to be doing that to begin with.
Speaker 1 (50:36):
I was waiting for Kevin to come to me and
be like, hey, man, I need you this week. Just you, actually, Lunchbox.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Just you.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Gosh, thank you. All right, so you're on your own.
Speaker 2 (50:45):
Good.
Speaker 4 (50:45):
You can have fun with that.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
All right, there you have it. Anybody else want to
hop in? You can. Congratulations, Kevin. Thank you. 877-77-BOBBY. That
is our number.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
Back in a second.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
So today is not Tuesday, but we did not get
to Tuesday Reviews Day yesterday. The whole Monday being off
messed us up. So let's go around the room. Tuesday
Reviews Day. I'll go first. I, on vacation, last time
I watched 14 movies, I think. Maybe more. I only
watched one movie.
Speaker 7 (51:15):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 6 (51:16):
Busy.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
Well, I actually did something because we went on vacation.
But I watched Mercy. And this thing has Chris Pratt.
And he's in a chair. And AI is telling if
he murdered his wife or not. What? Mike, did you
watch this? Yeah. It was terrible. Horrible.
Speaker 9 (51:35):
I saw it in theaters and I hated it.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
I thought, just by the premise, I'm about to love this.
Speaker 5 (51:40):
It sounds like it'd be good.
Speaker 4 (51:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (51:42):
60 Minutes to Prove His Innocence.
Speaker 2 (51:45):
Is it 90 Minutes?
Speaker 10 (51:47):
The 90?
Speaker 9 (51:47):
Maybe it's not yet.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
It doesn't matter.
Speaker 9 (51:49):
The whole movie is 90 minutes, so it works out perfectly.
Speaker 2 (51:52):
And it's AI, but they have the use of every
camera and everybody's phone. And so he's in a chair
the whole time, and they're trying to investigate it. And
I was like, this is so for me. I'm going
to tell you guys. I'm watching, and it starts to
be terrible about a third of the way through. But
I'm in. I've just invested all this time. I'm going
to finish it because I'm at least going to talk
(52:12):
about it on the show. And it's Chris Pratt. And
Rebecca Ferguson, who's in Silo, who's amazing. She's the judge.
And it gets to like the last 10 minutes of
the movie. And something happens, and I hear Caitlin and
the baby. And so I pause it. There's 10 minutes left.
It's the big final scene. And I thought to myself,
I'm not even going to finish it. I don't care enough.
(52:33):
I didn't even watch the last 10 minutes.
Speaker 6 (52:34):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (52:35):
That's like walking out of the movie theater.
Speaker 2 (52:37):
Okay, I walked out of the theater. There was only
10 minutes left, and I thought, this is so bad.
I'm going to stand against it and I'm not finishing it.
I don't even know how it ended and I don't care.
Speaker 9 (52:47):
You don't need to know.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
It's terrible.
Speaker 6 (52:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
And it's Chris Pratt.
Speaker 3 (52:51):
It's AI.
Speaker 9 (52:52):
It's things I like.
Speaker 2 (52:53):
So I give that 2.5 out of five electric chairs.
Because what happens is once they find you guilty, there's
like a shock in the chair and it kills you.
It's like the new program.
Speaker 6 (53:06):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (53:06):
I did read two books though over the break.
Speaker 6 (53:08):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
I read Dave Portnoy's book who started Barstool. I think
it's called Cancel Me If You Can. And it's fantastic.
I loved it. I give it four out of five news,
you know those newspaper things we used to pull open
and you get the newspaper out of it?
Speaker 3 (53:22):
Like the bins?
Speaker 2 (53:23):
Yeah, those machines. I give it four out of five
of those because that's how he started that. He would
have to pour sand in the bottom of them and
it was just a paper. Oh. And so his book
was written very much like my book and maybe that's
why I was drawn to it as well. My first
book is called Bare Bones and it's the story of
my life and our show and our career, which you
can get on Amazon, by the way. Um, he just
sat down and wrote it and you can tell because
(53:46):
it's not written like an established author would have written
a book.
Speaker 3 (53:51):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
The same with mine. It's very much stream of conscious.
This happened. Not that we didn't have editors, but I
really enjoyed his story. And then I also enjoyed reading
the book. It felt comfortable. It felt like when, how
I wrote my book, but I enjoyed it four out
of five. And then I watched, I know I read
another book called replay and And this was written in
the 80s. I didn't know it was written in the
(54:13):
80s at the time. Not that it would have affected anything,
but it's the first book that really started all the
time travel movies. But this guy, he dies. And the
last thing he remembers is talking to his wife. And
then he wakes up and he's 18. But he has
all the knowledge from before. And he's like, he can't
(54:36):
figure it out at first, but he's in the same
dorm room he was doing when he was 18. It's
put him in the exact same spot.
Speaker 3 (54:40):
But he's a smarter guy because he's lived longer.
Speaker 2 (54:43):
Yeah, but he doesn't know that for a while. He's like,
what's happening? Is this some kind of joke? But then
he lives it and then he dies again at the
exact same point in his life and he has to
do it again.
Speaker 6 (54:50):
Whoa.
Speaker 2 (54:50):
And it starts happening over and over again. And it
was awesome. I give that book four out of five, uh,
rewind replay so question about.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
A book written in the 80s is it the same
like in movies where you watch something from the 80s
and you're like it just doesn't.
Speaker 2 (55:06):
Hold up no this book is wonderful but I would
say the difference though was he spends a lot of
time in the 60s and the 70s so it's like
it's so far back it doesn't matter it doesn't matter
because he's even talking about the past but so this
guy writes this book and really starts that whole back
to the future all those ideas and then he was
(55:27):
writing a sequel and he died But.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
He was, yeah, it was great. How did you find
this book? Like, how did it come?
Speaker 2 (55:34):
Check JPG.
Speaker 5 (55:34):
Oh, is it how to recommend things for you?
Speaker 2 (55:37):
It didn't recommend Mercy, that stupid movie. I just saw
it because Chris Pratt was in it. I was like,
I'm watching it. Yeah, it was a great book. And
so I read two books over the holiday, which, that's
why I can't watch 14 movies. It takes a long
time to read a book. It's a commitment. I'm in
the middle of a third. I'm almost done with it,
but I'll tell you about it later. Okay. And then
I finished Silo. Season three. And so we were all
(56:01):
there except for like the last two episodes and silos
on Apple Plus and it's all the underground, a big
bomb hits and they have to live in these silos
for hundreds of years. And it was a book. I
never read the book. And silo season one, amazing. Silo
season two, bag of poop. Silo season three, really good.
It really found itself. So I give that four underground tunnels.
(56:22):
So that's mine. Tuesday reviews day, Amy.
Speaker 5 (56:26):
I watched Elle.
Speaker 7 (56:28):
The Legally Blonde prequel TV series on Amazon Prime, and
I loved it. There's so much 90s nostalgia, like the music,
the clothes, everything. It's just really, really cute. I highly
recommend it.
Speaker 5 (56:45):
And it would be something fun as a mom.
Speaker 6 (56:48):
No.
Speaker 2 (56:48):
Not even as a cameo?
Speaker 7 (56:49):
Well, not in season one. Maybe she'll eventually make one.
I hope they do a season two. I thought it
was really cute. And it was crazy how the actress
they got to play Elle Woods, at certain angles, she
looks like Reese.
Speaker 5 (57:06):
It was a perfect casting.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
It's her younger. As a young kid?
Speaker 5 (57:11):
Did you say that?
Speaker 7 (57:12):
Well, it's in the 90s, so yeah. Legally Blonde is
her when she's going to college, and this is her
high school years.
Speaker 2 (57:20):
You liked it, huh?
Speaker 5 (57:20):
I really did. I thought it was super cute.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
What's it on?
Speaker 5 (57:23):
Amazon Prime.
Speaker 2 (57:24):
Give it the... I was looking at notes. If you
said that, I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (57:26):
Well, for this type of stuff, I mean, the nostalgia...
I mean, my cousin and I watched it together. I mean,
we were singing along to like stuff.
Speaker 9 (57:34):
It just.
Speaker 2 (57:35):
Like songs they were putting in from the 90s, not
original songs.
Speaker 5 (57:38):
She's in high school when we were in high school.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7 (57:41):
So I probably enjoy it extra because of that. So shoot,
I'll give it four and a half.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (57:48):
Bruisers out of five because her little dog Bruiser... She
gets it.
Speaker 7 (57:54):
She has it in the Legally Blonde movies, but you
see when her mom gifts her bruiser.
Speaker 2 (57:59):
Oh, that's fun.
Speaker 5 (58:00):
You get a lot of the backstory. You're like, oh,
this is why she is the way that she is.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
I like when shows do 90s music now.
Speaker 4 (58:07):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:09):
I do a lot of the house. I guess some
would be 80s, though. We do Beastie Boy bath time,
Billy and I, when I give her the bath at 530,
because I do a lot of the baths. Caitlin will
if I'm playing music, she's like, I'll just do the
other stuff. And like, she gets her pajamas ready. So
I do the bath a lot of times. I won't
say by myself because my wife is there, but if
(58:29):
I'm playing music, it's a one, it's a one man
show just to watch her. But we do Beastie Boy
bath time for the last couple of weeks. And so
I like to hear that music. I get a chance
to really.
Speaker 3 (58:37):
It's fun.
Speaker 2 (58:37):
And I also like Beastie Boy bath time with Billy,
all the bees.
Speaker 6 (58:40):
Yeah. BBB.
Speaker 1 (58:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (58:42):
You know, what's cool though, is when you start playing
that music enough, your kids just know it. Like now
that my kids are like older, They start, like, I'll
put on, like, Stone Town Pilots, and they'll sing along.
I'll be like, how do you know that song? Like, Dad,
you've been playing that song for years.
Speaker 4 (58:55):
Really?
Speaker 3 (58:55):
We know that song.
Speaker 2 (58:56):
The song, so we do Beastie Boy Bathtime, and the
other songs that we play a lot are Rainbow Connection.
Speaker 9 (59:04):
Kermit?
Speaker 2 (59:05):
The Lovers, The Dreamers, and Me.
Speaker 3 (59:08):
Why are there so many?
Speaker 6 (59:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
Why so we do that one because I love that
song and Casey Musgraves is a really good version of
it too you can't beat the Kermit one.
Speaker 3 (59:17):
Yeah and plus that's when we were kids too right
didn't that come out when we were kids.
Speaker 2 (59:21):
I don't know I just love the Kermit version there
is a version with Bert and Ernie doing wheels on
the bus get out of here it's awesome I sing
Will's on the bus to her a lot. She likes that.
And I do funny. You got brought up in Caitlin's
version the other day.
Speaker 6 (59:34):
Why?
Speaker 2 (59:34):
Because she just tries to find people on the bus.
Speaker 6 (59:36):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (59:37):
Oh, and then she just throws a name in there?
Speaker 4 (59:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:39):
Because she was, I think, Eddie on the bus says,
here's some salsa. I think that's what it was.
Speaker 3 (59:44):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (59:46):
It was something like that. She's always just trying to
think of new.
Speaker 3 (59:48):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (59:48):
I just do animals sometimes. I'm like, horses on the
bus go. But yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's mine. Lunchbox. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (59:59):
I started a movie but didn't finish it, so nothing
to review. Don't review it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
What movie?
Speaker 4 (01:00:04):
The Rip.
Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Oh, The Rip.
Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
It's awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
Dude, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:00:07):
Wait, what's that again?
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
It's the movie with Netflix.
Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
Is that the one I hated?
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
Yes, you hated it.
Speaker 5 (01:00:11):
Oh, that movie's so lame. You probably didn't finish it
because it's not good.
Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
No, no, no.
Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
You'll like it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
No, dude, it's good.
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
No, I was in the middle of it.
Speaker 5 (01:00:17):
And you were like, this sucks.
Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
No, I had to be somewhere.
Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
You're probably leaning toward a good rating though, huh?
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
And then I went out of town, so I didn't
get to finish it.
Speaker 3 (01:00:26):
Now you're going to love it, dude. Keep watching.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
It's about cops in Florida, and it's money they find
in the drug world, and then it's just what happens.
Speaker 3 (01:00:33):
What do they do with the money?
Speaker 7 (01:00:34):
It's like you have Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reunited.
Speaker 5 (01:00:37):
You're thinking Good Will Hunting.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
No, you're not. No, you're not.
Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
They're in police outfits.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
Right, and they're not in Boston.
Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
No, but you're thinking it's going to be epic like that.
Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
And it was.
Speaker 5 (01:00:46):
It was awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
It was so good.
Speaker 7 (01:00:47):
You're like, wow, we made it all this time.
Speaker 5 (01:00:49):
And then you're like, what the fuck?
Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
I think I started watching it because you guys said
it was awesome and Amy said it was lame and
I was like, man, I need to watch this movie.
Speaker 5 (01:00:57):
All right, let us know.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
I liked it a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
Yeah, just finish it though. Just finish it though.
Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
I will finish it.
Speaker 6 (01:01:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
I can't wait to review Lioness. This season is rocking, man.
Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
Anything else? No, that was it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
Okay, Eddie? Okay, so this is kind of a continuation.
I've already seen Sicario, but it was a long time ago.
My wife hadn't seen it, and we were talking about it.
She said, I'd like to watch it. So we sat
down and watched it. It was almost like I watched
it all over again with new eyes. Guys, I forgot
how good that movie is. Sicario is so, so good,
but at the same time, dude, that's a sad story.
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
So as someone who just watched it, so Fresh Eyes
from three months ago, I never saw it whenever it
originally was out and it was really good.
Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
That's when I first saw it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
I can agree with you with Fresh Eyes. It's really good.
Speaker 3 (01:01:41):
It's so, so good. But man, like you come out
watching that movie just being like, this is so sad
because it's so real. And then it took me back
to all the talk that Amy talks about with cartels
and then you and what's her name that you interviewed
for Bobbycast?
Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Mariana Benzela.
Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
I mean, dude, nailed it. She nailed it when she
talked about their situation. And they talk about that in
the movie. That's a big part of the movie.
Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
She's coming back in. She's coming to town.
Speaker 6 (01:02:06):
Oh, really?
Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
Mm-hmm. She's the best. She's got so many good stories.
Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
So Sicario. You're going to re-rate it? I'll re-rate it.
It's just awesome, but so sad. So I'll give it
a four and a half deserts out of five.
Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
Sicario 2, I did not watch.
Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
My son said he watched it. He said not as good.
Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
But is it still good? Movie Mike?
Speaker 9 (01:02:28):
I mean, it's still good, but it's not as good
as the first one.
Speaker 2 (01:02:30):
Because they're doing Sicario 3 now. I see Taylor Sheridan
is writing that.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
And my son said that it's not the same director,
so you're not going to have the same effect on 2.
That's like inside baseball.
Speaker 2 (01:02:39):
I've had to ask Mike, does it matter who the
director is? And he's like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:02:43):
Wait, wait, wait. How do... Okay, so not the same writer.
Taylor Sheridan wrote all of them.
Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
I think he wrote 2. Did he write 2?
Speaker 9 (01:02:50):
Yeah, he wrote 2 as well.
Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
So he just got a different director. I was thinking... Wait,
did he write 1?
Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:02:54):
He wrote 1, yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:02:54):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
I was thinking, how can you just take a movie
and do number two if you don't own it?
Speaker 2 (01:02:59):
Number two.
Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Oh, and then I have another one. Devil Wears Prada 2.
Finish that one.
Speaker 5 (01:03:06):
It's good, huh?
Speaker 3 (01:03:08):
I mean, it's so funny because I enjoyed it. And
while I'm watching the movie, I'm like, why am I
liking this so much? It's about fashion.
Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Is it nostalgic?
Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
Is that why?
Speaker 2 (01:03:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:03:17):
But did you like Devil Wears Prada, the first one?
Speaker 3 (01:03:19):
Yeah, I did. But I think what I like about
it is just the... how goofy it is and like how,
and I think, man, I think I kind of like,
what's her name?
Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
Anne Hathaway.
Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
Anne Hathaway. Like, I don't know what she's like in
real life, but like watching her act in movies makes
me feel like she's so likable and I enjoyed it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
I never saw one.
Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
One's great. I'd say one's great, two is okay.
Speaker 6 (01:03:44):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
But two, is it like Happy Gilmore 2 where you
really only enjoy it because you love the first one
so much and it had nostalgia related to it?
Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
There's a Happy Gilmore 2?
Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
Yes, dude.
Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
On Netflix? Dude, it's awesome. It's terrible.
Speaker 3 (01:03:58):
Bad Bunny's in it?
Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
It's amazing.
Speaker 6 (01:04:00):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
Yeah, but I wouldn't put this as like, you're saying
like it's terrible.
Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
It's only amazing if you loved one.
Speaker 5 (01:04:05):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
If you're watching it, it's terrible. But if you loved one,
it's really good.
Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
This is breaking news.
Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
This is like a year ago.
Speaker 3 (01:04:12):
Yeah, dude. Travis Kelsey's in it? Like, Bad Bunny.
Speaker 4 (01:04:16):
Really?
Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Yeah, John Daly.
Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
A lot of people.
Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
Adam Sandler?
Speaker 3 (01:04:20):
Adam Sandler?
Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
Yeah, he's playing again. Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:04:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
Movie Mike, what'd you see?
Speaker 10 (01:04:25):
I saw the Doc Stars in theaters. It's Jacob Elordi
speaking of Sicario. Josh Brolin is also in it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
Jacob Elordi's in Sicario?
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Josh Brolin is in Sicario. No, Brolin is.
Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Oh, I was going to say, he had to be
like two. Oh, okay, Josh Brolin, yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:04:36):
Speaking of movies with great concepts and just kind of suck,
this is one of those.
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
What's it called?
Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
Doc Stars.
Speaker 9 (01:04:41):
Doc Stars.
Speaker 10 (01:04:42):
Post-apocalyptic world, a virus knocks out all of humanity. Jacob
Elordi survives. He's a pilot. And then there's these people
who kind of run the world called the Reapers. It's
a terribly boring movie. For 30, 45 minutes, nothing happens.
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
That concept is right up my alley.
Speaker 10 (01:04:58):
Yeah, that was like, oh, this is going to be great.
It's Ridley Scott who also did the Gladiator movies.
Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
Oh, yeah, Ridley Scott.
Speaker 10 (01:05:04):
So you're thinking great director, great cast. Nothing happens for 30,
45 minutes. It's just Jacob Elordi flying a plane.
Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
So you think when they make, like when they're pitching
these movies to the film people, they're just like, wow,
that's really good. Let's do it. Fund it. Give it
all the money.
Speaker 9 (01:05:17):
It's also based on a book. So it's like, okay,
it has to be good.
Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
And then when they make it, they're just like, oh,
this sucked. But put it out anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
What I've learned, it depends on who the director is.
Speaker 9 (01:05:25):
He's also like in his 80s.
Speaker 10 (01:05:26):
So I feel like at this point, like he can
do whatever he wants.
Speaker 9 (01:05:30):
So he's like, this is what I want to make.
Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
You guys familiar with the term octogenarian?
Speaker 5 (01:05:34):
What did you say?
Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
Can you say that again?
Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
Octogenarian?
Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:05:36):
It's 80-year-olds.
Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
It's people in their 80s.
Speaker 4 (01:05:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Oh, I was going to say octoball.
Speaker 2 (01:05:39):
When you say that, 80s, it's another one of those things.
I was reading a book, and I was like, octogenarians.
Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
Octopus?
Speaker 2 (01:05:44):
Eight? It's got to be eight something. What does that mean?
It's just a general term for people in their 80s.
Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
He's an octogenarian.
Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
I've never heard that.
Speaker 5 (01:05:50):
Well, y'all have, because we can pull the tape.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Yes, we brought it up here.
Speaker 5 (01:05:54):
A couple of years, a year or two ago, I...
Told you all I learned.
Speaker 3 (01:05:59):
Two years ago.
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
She told us she was dating one.
Speaker 5 (01:06:02):
Yeah, I was like, I'm dating an octogenarian.
Speaker 7 (01:06:07):
And then, yeah, I know. We talk about a lot,
so I forget a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:06:12):
Hey, something we need to do. Is Scuba Steve in
the room?
Speaker 3 (01:06:15):
He's there.
Speaker 4 (01:06:16):
Scuba.
Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
Yeah, what's up?
Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
We got to either take the jingle down or we
got to bleep Morgan's name or take her out of
it or something. Oh, yeah, I don't play it anymore now.
It's not in the podcast at all?
Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
No, no, because I took over part one for a
little bit, and so I just took it out. Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Do you want it back in with an edit?
Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
I think Ray made an edit without Morgan.
Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Can I hear the edit?
Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
He has it, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:36):
Go ahead. Wake up, wake up in the morning. And
you turn the radio on, and the dial just keeps
on turning.
Speaker 12 (01:06:46):
Keeps on turning.
Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
Dang it, dear.
Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Eddie and me, lunchbox, school, the steeplehead. That's terrible.
Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
You know what you should, to be funny for now,
I'll see if Reed has the file he made it,
because that's a train wreck. That's funny, though. Just bleep it.
That's funny to just bleep it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:05):
That is funny.
Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
Just bleep it for the joke of it now. You
do that?
Speaker 4 (01:07:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:07:09):
And then start putting it back in? Yeah, sure.
Speaker 6 (01:07:11):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:07:11):
You guys spent a lot of time on that edit, huh?
Getting it right.
Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
Well, Ray did it really quick like a couple weeks
ago just because we wanted it fast and then we
didn't talk about it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
Okay, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:07:19):
Will you do that?
Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
There was a thing this past weekend and I saw
that Taylor Swift was going to be on our weekend
music show, which Wayne, Dee, and Tay do. It's called
like the Country House Party, I believe. House Party, yeah.
And it said, I guess Taylor Swift. And I was like, Well,
that's interesting. I'm surprised that'd be the show that she
would go on. And so I reached out to our
(01:07:42):
boss and I was like, hey, I get why Taylor
wouldn't come on this show if she chose not to.
You know, it's complicated. Whatever. I said, but interestingly, she
picked a weekend show because it was going super viral.
Did you guys see how viral it was going?
Speaker 6 (01:07:58):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:07:58):
Every local station that put it up, it was getting
tens of thousands of shares. Like, we're going to tune in.
We're going to tune in. And he goes, no, it's
just clips. And I was like, yeah, nice, guys. Yeah,
I turned that down because of the clips. That's the
kind of crap I would do back in the day.
Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
Wait, what do you mean it's clips?
Speaker 5 (01:08:11):
She did pre-fab.
Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Yeah, like answers.
Speaker 7 (01:08:14):
And then they insert their question.
Speaker 6 (01:08:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
But what happened was it went so viral that other
shows that had access to it, because she just did
it for anybody to grab.
Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
Got it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
Then I would see weekend shows from everywhere going, we
got Taylor Swift on. And then I just laughed because
everybody was just using clips to act like she was
coming on the show live.
Speaker 4 (01:08:31):
Dang.
Speaker 9 (01:08:31):
I was going to put it on my movie podcast.
Speaker 6 (01:08:33):
I know. Wait.
Speaker 5 (01:08:33):
She was talking about.
Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
The Toy Story song.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
You literally should.
Speaker 3 (01:08:36):
Oh, that's funny.
Speaker 5 (01:08:37):
Well, what about Women of iHeartCountry?
Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (01:08:40):
Do it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
Do it on your podcast, Mike, and be like our
guest Taylor Swift and use the same clips because you're
talking about Toy Story 5.
Speaker 9 (01:08:44):
Yeah, talk about the movie.
Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
And now all of our audience, I love an inside joke.
They know it's an inside joke. I would do that.
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
All right, Monday.
Speaker 9 (01:08:52):
Taylor Swift's on my podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
That's the tease.
Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
And do an image. All right. Do you have access
to the clip still?
Speaker 6 (01:08:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
Taylor Swift does movie mics podcasts.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Don't do that same picture everybody's using though okay.
Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
Is it like just a picture they sent.
Speaker 2 (01:09:06):
Out same yeah it's the same promo picture dude I was.
Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
Starting to get a little irritated by that oh you
were yeah yeah yeah because then I'm like okay she
got invited to the house they got invited to the
house too but I guess not good.
Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
Alright um Thank you, everybody, for listening. We're going to go.
Hope you guys have a great rest of the day.
Don't forget, pick up garbage and don't litter.
Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
Say thank you if someone holds the door open.
Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
And eat your vitamins. And we will see you guys tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (01:09:31):
Bye, everybody.
