New details are emerging about the jury behind the Lindsay Clancy mistrial, including the lone holdout who refused to support a not-guilty-by-reason-of-insanity verdict. Buck reacts to what we're learning about the jury room, the backlash against the holdout juror and the intense debate surrounding criminal responsibility in the case. Clancy admitted to killing her three young children, but the trial ended in a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict. Buck argues that the holdout juror deserves credit for refusing to back down under pressure and rejecting the argument that Clancy should be absolved of criminal culpability because of her mental state.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
A big surprise to some, although why is it surprising
to them? Coming out of the Lindsay Clancy jury room,
you know, the trial is over. A mistrial was declared.
And sure enough, a lot of the jurors have been
coming forward and saying that they are very angry, very upset,

(00:23):
coming up with all kinds of reasons for why the
lone holdout, the rogue juror, the hero, to many of us,
was in fact somehow a bad guy. And now it
has been revealed that after we've heard from some of
the women who, yes, the women on the Lindsay Clancy

(00:43):
jury look exactly, think exactly, sound exactly like we all
thought they would. Now it comes forward. Now it comes
out that there was a man who is part of
the not guilty by reason of insanity chorus, so he
went along with the women. But then there was another one,

(01:05):
the rogue juror, so to speak. And guess what? He
was black. He's a black guy. And I'm sitting here
thinking to myself, first of all, black guy, Massachusetts, stood
for sanity in the face of the insane. The insane

(01:25):
being the other jurors in this instance. And I would
like to think that he's a Clay and Buck listener,
maybe even a Buck podcast listener. But this guy is awesome.
And it's just hilarious to me that the woke Olympics,
if you will, they used to use this term on

(01:49):
the left, intersectional. And I think they got away from
it because they couldn't get enough people to really understand
what it meant. intersectionality is a theory of society in
which all people are on a different almost like a
spreadsheet of oppression some are more oppressed than others some

(02:11):
are oppressing this group while the other group is being
oppressed and they're also oppressing groups and all of this
stuff right that this was almost at least to me
the intersectionality revival moment for many on the left because
They want to be so angry at this black guy

(02:32):
who stood up and said in that jury room that
he refused to go along with letting Lindsay Clancy just
go to a mental facility where she could be free
in 40 days after brutally murdering her three children, which
she admitted to doing. And this guy stood strong, but
it's a bunch of white women in the room who

(02:53):
are trying to harangue him into the verdict that they want.
The left doesn't know what to do with this because
usually they would view any kind of power dynamic as
the black person, because of intersectionality, because of woke thinking,
the black person is the one that the left is
going to side with just because of the legacy of

(03:17):
slavery and racism and Jim Crow and all of this.
And they just assume in the victimization hierarchy they have
that the black individual is the one who should get
their support. But in this case, it's a black guy
who prevented the left and really prevented this strain of

(03:39):
deranged feminism from getting what they want. And like I said,
the guy is, the guy was heroic, in my opinion,
because it would have been so much easier for him
to have just said, fine, I give up. But the
other guy, we've only seen one of the, there's two

(03:59):
other guys in the jury. The other guy on the
jury is also exactly what you would think he is.
This is not a, this is not an individual that
you would want to have at your side in a
dark alley. If things got rough with some people trying to, uh,
you know, attack you or something, right? This is not,
not a guy that you would think of as a

(04:20):
man's man. That's very obvious, but This black guy who
we haven't yet met in the public eye, we have
not yet seen him, but it has been confirmed that
he's black, clearly had some sense of the underlying masculine
view of this, which is the single most important thing

(04:43):
that a man can do is protect his children. I
don't know that there's anything that you could put on
that same scale. I think protecting your children from harm,
and remember, we're talking about kids, not your adult children.
Protecting your young children from harm is more essential than anything.

(05:06):
I mean, than laying down your life for your country.
I mean, there's a lot of brave and heroic things
that men can do, but men laying down their life
or their lives to protect their children, that is the
ultimate in being a man. And the complete opposite of that,
the demonic opposite of that is murdering your children, which

(05:33):
is what Lindsay Clancy did. And so for a guy
to stand up and say, this is, you know, this
is just not ever going to be okay with me.
I don't care what all of you say. I don't
care what your psychological diagnoses are. I don't care. how
much you try to browbeat me into submission. As a man,

(05:54):
I refuse to remove culpability from Lindsey Clancy because it's
fashionable right now to do so. Man, there's just something,
there's something just so manly and fantastic about it, really.
I can't give this guy enough credit. I really hope

(06:17):
we do get to see him I think he does interviews.
There will be lunatics who threaten him. He will probably
get death threats if he's not already getting them from
maniacs out there. Just think about that. That guy just
served on a jury. She's getting a mistrial, so she's
going to be tried again. So there'll be another opportunity
to just send her to the loony bin instead of

(06:38):
making her serve the prison sentence that I think she
so very much should be serving. But This was a
trying moment. Anyway, back to the one woman who was
kind of aghast, this news presenter, at the notion that
it was a black man who stood athwart Lindsay Clancy's

(07:01):
removal of criminal culpability. The other most insane thing that
has come out of all this is that on Oprah...
this conversation were involving, you know, it was like an
audience and Oprah where some woman said that we really
need to focus on, uh, making sure that we have

(07:24):
the same kind of solidarity with women of color who
murdered their children as this white woman, Lindsay Clancy, who
murdered her children. The thought process here, I mean, you
are truly, uh, trying to navigate in the waters of
of a deranged cerebrum you're you're trying to to find

(07:49):
your way through it's like being in the house of
a hoarder and trying to find you know one one
specific item when you're just you're just rummaging through just
trash everywhere and that's how this that's how this feels
There's something maybe, you know, something also very just about

(08:12):
a diseased mind here, something very wrong with anyone who
would think that our focus should be on making as
a society, making sure that we express app or express
due solidarity with women of color who murder their children.
How about we focus on making sure that no woman

(08:33):
ever murders her children? How about we as a society
say with one voice, there is nothing worse than a
mother killing her own children. Now, the problem with this,
and this is the next place where this conversation goes,
is that we live in a society where women have
been really brainwashed for a long time into believing that

(08:55):
the baby in their womb is not a baby and
they can kill that baby and that's fine. In fact,
that's even praiseworthy. That's healthcare. That's an act of freedom
and liberation. Moloch was an ancient deity from along the
times of the Israelites and the Old Testament. Moloch was

(09:17):
obviously a false god, and it was a god to
whom pagans in the realm of Judea, or in the
area of Judea, would commit child sacrifice. This has been
around for a long time. There is really no greater evil.
There's no greater beauty than the human fostering of giving

(09:42):
birth to, raising up. There's no greater joy and beauty
in life than tiny human beings. Children, babies, nothing is
more beautiful. As a species, as animals, as spiritual beings,
as God's creatures with souls, there's nothing more beautiful than
children and babies. And yet we have been for a

(10:06):
long time now as a society bombarded with this idea
that children are an inconvenience and that even you can
end the life of a child in the womb if
it's inconvenient. In Massachusetts, up to the ninth month of pregnancy,
by law, They just passed that law. So this is
where there is a cognitive dissonance for a lot of women.

(10:28):
They say they are excited maybe at the prospect of
being a mom, but they've been told that abortion is a,
they were told for a long time it was a
constitutional right, which was always a lie. And now they're
told that convenience is a good enough reason to terminate
a pregnancy. That's fine. And so how much of a

(10:50):
leap is it from that to, well, your children are
not deserving of the same protection of the state, even
when they're out of the womb and they're kids. If
you're the mom, there's some leeway that we give you. Look,
it is pure evil. It is demonic. And there's a
real insanity that has been exposed here. I mean, a
really deranged, awful, decrepit set of ideas, beliefs around this

(11:18):
whole Lindsay Clancy trial. And this guy, I don't know
his name, but this black guy on the jury, he
was our man standing guard for civilization, standing guard for
our souls as a people. And God bless him. Honestly,
that's how I feel about the whole thing. I'm glad

(11:39):
somebody stood up. All right, our sponsor here is Incogni.
