is an emergency episode of the podcast or Tuesday, and
you know, I don't usually record for Tuesday, but it
looks like it's finally curtain calls for Graham Platiner's talks
a campaign for the Senate race in Maine. So on
March eleventh, I dedicated an entire episode of my podcast
to Grand Platter and I said this, this is a dangerous,

dangerous person. He's doing an impersonation of John Fetterman, who
you know, likes to flirt with people who hate choose
and things. They're response for all the wars in the world.
So if you live in Maine, and if you live
near Maine, it is your responsibility to get this message out.
Grand Platner is a very dangerous individual who is lying

(00:45):
to voters about who he actually is and what he believes. Now,
for months, I have been screaming from the rooftops about
Grand Platner, about his dangerous ideology, the Nazi tattoo, the
Reddit post about his contempt for white people, the social
association with the Socialist Paramilitary Organization, and the rumors that
have been swirling around washingt DC about sexual assaults. None

of them seem to have mattered to Democrats in DC
until last night. Well, it came to a head as
Politico broke the story. Quote. A woman dated Maine us
and Achendic Grand Platner says he forced her to have
sex with him nearly five years ago, despite her repeated
objection and allegation Platner denies. Racecott said she had an
on and off relationship with Platner, who is now a

Democratic Senate nominee in Maine, for more than two years
before he entered her rural main home uninvited one night
in late twenty twenty one, deeply intoxicated, and forced himself
on her while she repeatedly told him to stop. She
said she cut off contact with him after telling him
the encounter was not consensual. End quote. Now look at
what Politico is doing. By the way, they're using words

like sexual assault and sexual encounter, not what it is rape.
They're saying he entered her home on an instead of
what that is, breaking and entering. They're using terms to
make the allegations softer. To their credit, Jake Tapper at
CNN did use the word rape. So I want to
give him credit because he was one of the few
outlets initially that did. Now unlike the New York Times

story that was ran maybe about a month ago, which
talked about sexual assault, which talked about abuse of women,
which talked about women becoming uneasy, but they profiled specifically
a Republican victim. The woman in this story, Jenny Rasad,
is a Democrat, and she said she's not afraid to
come forward anymore like she was earlier, because she does

agree with Platner's positions, She does believe with him politically.
She is a Democrat, She's not a Republican. That's a
big difference in how the media is treating this allegation
versus the last when it was a Republican. This is
the damage of political group thing. By the way, the

(03:00):
fact that this woman was raped by him and downplayed
it for years to protect him politically throughout this entire campaign,
downplaying what happened to her, that's political group think at
a toxic level. Platner, of course denied these charges before
coming out with this statement.

Regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful the
political reality it will inflict. We are taking the time
to reflect on the best path forward for the state
that I love, the people that I love, the movement
I belonged to, and the goal of defeating Susan Collins.

So by saying that Platner is letting it known that
he's okay with dropping out, and after this video came out,
I mean he gave the first by saying it like that,
he's giving the okay for people to call for him
to drop out. After all, he told Schumer and Bernie
Sanders and Elizabe Warren and all his closest allies and
top Democrats and in the Senate in DC that there

were no more credible scandals and the works. But this
was it, the last one, was it? Even though everyone,
and I need to emphasize this, every person I've spoken
to in DC who is in the campaign world knew
there were more stories. This is actually not even the
most damning thing I've heard about Platiner. Not even It's

actually not like that's the craziest thing. I'm not downplaying
what this woman encountered with Grand Platner, with him raping
her allegedly according to her testimony, But there are way
more things that people have brewing. There are allegations. I
have heard from credible people about things he did in Iraq,

things he did while he was at school at the
Hotchkiss School, things he did when he was a teenager.
People in the political circles have been hearing about Platiner
for very very long time, and they turned a blind eye.
Everyone in DC, every one of these senators heard what

(05:02):
was coming out about him, and they turned a blind
eye until it was absolutely the most opportune to try
to get him out. The fact that these Democrats are
acting surprised at this point shows they are as big
a liars as Platner was, because that's who Platner, at
the end of the day is. He lies. He's a
liar to such a degree. He lies about small things,

(05:24):
he lies about big things. He lies to supporters, he
lies through his donors, and of course he lied to
his wife. Once Planner acknowledged that he was okay with
standing down, the number of Democrats also calling from to
step down has some snowball. Rocanna, who stuck with Platner
through his first sexual assault allegation, said that sexual assault
is now a red line. Strange how when it was

(05:45):
a Republican Rocana was not saying that Rubin Gego, known
as a sexual abuss Sir Eric Slowell's best friend also
called him to step down. It's so strange Ruben Geago
keeps finding himself surrounded by men who really like to
abuse women. This is also the same man who left
and abandoned his wife while she was nine months pregnant

(06:05):
with his child. I wonder why that is the main
Democratic Party. Chuck Schumer, the DSCC chair Christian Gillibrand, also
have called on him to drop out. Schumer said if
he remains on the ballot, Democrats will not spend any
money supporting him. So it's over now. Mind you, Platner
was seeing poll numbers collapse against Collins, who was outspending him.

(06:28):
I said this on Monday Show. She was out spending
him ten to one. So you may think that the
truth is Democrats finally have an honest moment. They're finally
finding a backbone. It's a little more complicated than that.
Planner was a liability beforehand, but he was a liability
who was leading by eight to nine points in polls
against Susan Collins. Now he's a liability who's losing in

the polls. So they dumped them because at the end
of the day, he was going to lose to Susan
Collins in November, All signs pointed to that the Pods
Save America Brok, who call Platner a quote good and
decent man who struggled and grown is always trying to
do better, also called in him to drop out. Two
people noticeably silent with progressive podcaster Kyle Kolinsky, who said

(07:12):
that Graham Platner could sext his mom and he wouldn't care,
and Morris Katz, a political operative behind both Platner and Mandanni.
He has not said anything about what's going on Platner,
so it seems like it's over for Platner's entire campaign.
He's going to drop out after spending north of fifteen
million dollars so far on his primary and general election,

(07:32):
and Democrats are starting from scratch. I don't know who
they're going to endorse. I know the number of governor
candidates who lost the Gumnatorio primary, burning back Troy Jackson
and then another progressive, Nirav Shaw, are making calls to
run as in, as is Jordan Woods, former chief of
staff of Katie Porter, another woman who's accused of abusing people.

(07:55):
Democrats are really really scraping at the while they look
for authentic white men who are just progressive. There's a
lot of potential candidates, all started from zero, but they
won't have the emotional and political baggage that Platner did.
I need to emphasize something to my progressive listeners who

(08:19):
message me and send me emails saying they never understood
why I was just so focused on Grand Planner in
a way that I'm not about Sherion Brown, in a
way that I'm not about a number of Democratic candidates.
It wasn't because that he is a self described communist.
I mean, that's horrifying and that's terrible, and he should
not be anywhere near power. But for that reason alone, however,

there is something going on with this person. This is
a very dangerous person. If I was his wife, if
I was his wife's mother, if I was his wife's friend,
I would say get out, get out.

There's a true darkness to this end individual that is unmatched.
He is a dangerous man, and I am very happy
he's not going to be the nominee, despite not knowing
if the stronger candidate is going to come up against
Susan Collins because a person like him should be nowhere
near with the Ramsey Polom. Regardless of who wins, it's

a good thing for America that Graham Platinum lost. That's
