it's WrestleMania weekend. We got a very very very special
guest host mc all America like.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Welcome to the show, my wary man. Welcome to the
show Man, I was.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I appreciate you having me on. Like you said, we're

How you can tell by the bell.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Absolutely yep. I don't have on my wrestle but we
saving it for tomorrow. Yes, saving it for the MAB.
But I appreciate that me on show Man. Oh yeah, yeah,
you see.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
You see I had to put on the orange blue
shirt today because we both went to Orange and blue schools.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I went to the better Orange and blue school but we.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Went to orange and blue schools as Tim Tebow. Yeah see,
I had ten Yre had Cam. Yes, but but I'm
just saying he started with this orange and blue you
know what I'm saying, got orange and blue on the kicks. Now,
come on, come on, never be offered just all I'll say,
Oh no, that's true.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
He was.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
He wasn't solid oh and two. But man, justin Man.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
It's crazy because it's a full circle moment because we
met pretty much here last year.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, ain't pretty much. It was. It was here yeah,
last year Wrestlemanian.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
So I think one of the cool things about you
is is like when I followed you, it was like, Okay,
I've seen him before. But then when we started like
communicating in the car right out of WrestleMania Night too,
John Cena winning seventeen that night, you.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Never seen seventeen. I've never seen seventeen.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
The crazy thing is I remember going and watching your
account and I'm like, wait, this dude is like legit,
Like he's for real because some of the first clips
I saw was you covering Marsh Madness and I was like, oh,
this guy is like the truth.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
And that's the beautiful thing about it is like you.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Never come off as like out there like big ego,
and I love guys like that because it's like he knows.
He's like, there's levels to this, there's still a ways
to go, but it's like you're getting there.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I mean, you just interviewed Mark Henry. You just interviewed
Mark Henry, the World's Strongest Man.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Yes, like somebody gonna get they you know, you know
the rest one of the best. Yeah, yeah, one of
the best themes out there. But before we get into
all of your successes in your career, we got to
go back.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
To Birmingham, Alabama.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
So you were born in Birmingham, raised in Helena, Alabama,
So like, what was it like, Yeah, being raised in Bama.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I say, Helena is a stereotypical small town, small southern town.
Like everybody knows everybody high school sports is the thing.
Everybody in the community is an athlete at some point
in their time. And I think for me, it was
just one of those things where that's where the dream
and the foundation was laid for me.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I grew up.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
I was there from five years old all the way
to those times to graduate from high school, and I
think it was just a place where I learned how
to be myself who I was chasing my athletic dreams,
you know, were both for athletes, and I don't like
to say were.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
I feel like you're always an athlete.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Competitive spirit and the mental is there, and so I
think growing up in Helena, Man, it was a blessing.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I loved my community, love where I'm from.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Man.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I have, you know, some of my closest friends from there,
and just think about some of the times and shoot,
my wrestling dreams were were made there growing up.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Everybody.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I grew up in a neighborhood called Okaha, but the
hob the hah Man, all the athletes were there, all
the best athletes that neighborhood, but all the athletes were
wrestling fans. Everybody at some point goes through that wrestling phase.
And I think just growing up in Helena, Man, it
was a blessing. And it showed me what your community is.

(04:11):
You talked about, you know, the way I come off,
the humility aspect, like I'm from a kid from a
small town. Like a year ago, like when we met man,
that was my first ever WrestleMania and I was just big.
I didn't know what was happening. Yeah, it's so much
stuff happening now and there's so many goals and dreams
that I'm still aspiring towards, and even when I reached those,

(04:32):
I feel like I'm going to always remember growing up
in Helena and remember where I'm from.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
I'm not going to be trying to big time people. Yeah,
that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
And so going into the wrestling because as y'all see
with the belt right here, I remember seeing one of
those clus because you posted a couple of times of
you celebrating John Cena. Yes up, so John Semen, that's
been your guy like forever. So when was that moment
for you when you're like okay, because you just said,
like everybody loved wrestling at some point, but like, what

(05:02):
was that key moment? Was it that John Cena winning
at a certain WrestleMania was its like as Randy Yorton like,
hell was like hell hells growing up?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Like what was that moment for you?

Speaker 4 (05:13):
So man, it's funny enough. I think the very first
ever memory of watching wrestling was Hornswaggle and Many Boogeyman.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
All running around like friends, and I was like, what
the heck is this? I forgot about Many boogey Man.
I forgot about that.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
Yeah, And then as I started like, I bavidly remember
my first time ever watching SmackDown. Man, I was in
the first room in my house and it was the
Undertaker all and I was like, an Undertaker's gonna get me.
I was, I'm undercover, you know. And then raw I
remember John seeing I was like, man, who is this guy?
And so I just was enamored by the storylines.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
What was happening? You mentioned Mark Henry, like I remember
him with the dreads. Man, what is this man?

Speaker 4 (05:59):
Looking back on it, bro, Like, I really would love
to go back, maybe asked my parents when was that
time for me? But my grandparents and dad would tell
you the stories of me going to Walmart, like I
just want to look. But man, I'm getting the action
picked every time. I got like, Bro, I'm so glad
I kept them all, got like three hundred wrestling toys
at the house.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Still get out of here, really, yes, bro?

Speaker 4 (06:19):
And it was a thing where Man, I grew up
on my street. My boy Hunter and I told him
we got to get to a manium. We loved wrestling toys.
We'd trade, we'd you know, have the fights and stuff.
I think wrestling was just something man. It wasn't like
sports it was something different and I when it had
come to Birmingham, I'd go to the shows. My this
is when Ticketmaster you went to a physical box inside

(06:42):
of the store.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
These kids don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
They don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Y'all don't know. Y'all don't know. You go to the
physical box, pay, you get the ticket stub.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
And I just remember going with my with my dad
and my granddad sometimes and it was just one of
those things where you know, you go through that phase
where you kind of fizzle out, but it's all with you.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
I remember my last time getting a b I bought
something now, but last I'm the kid getting a wrestling figure.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Bro. It was Christmas seventh grade and I got the
Elimination Chamber and I vividly remember.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Asking my mom, Am I getting too old for wrestling toys?
Like I vividly remember, she was like no answer the question.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
No.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
He was like, it's up to you. What do you think?

Speaker 4 (07:22):
And I went through that phase, bro, but it never
left me. You talk about seeing it, Broye, I don't
know what I think Sena is, just like he's the
white dude that was culture too got very cold in
the age where he was rapping MS yeah, you know
what I mean, Like that was the scene I grew
up on and we all grew up on. So I think, man,
it's just something that once it's in you, bro never leaves.

(07:43):
I don't care what anybody says.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
The thing for me is because like I was kind
of a late bloomer, so I didn't start watching wrestling
till I want to say, two thousand and eight. So
my cousins, they were really big into it. But I
have a familiar or similar undertaker story to you. So
I remember one night.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I was scroll I was scrolling the channels with my mom,
and I see this guy hat jacket and he just
does this with his hands thunder and I'm like like,
and this is I was like maybe sick or something
like that. I was like, I was just like I
remember getting up. I was just out of there. And
so what did it?

Speaker 3 (08:20):
What brought me back is so my cousins, First of all,
they used to play smack Down versus Raw. I have
all those and I got a crazy story to tell
y'all because initially I thought every one of those guys
were like just fake characters.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
I thought they were fake characters. I didn't think there
were real people.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
So, like, there was one guy I saw in there
that was just like rainbow hair color, just charismatic, just
doing them whispers in the winds, the swan time bobs,
and I'm like, who is this guy?

Speaker 1 (08:47):
And I saw him doing this.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
It was Jeff Hardy. Course, shout out Jeff Hardy. And
so I started doing this around the house and my
dad's like, what are you doing. I'm like, is this
character in this video game?

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Then like like his name is Jeff Hardy does this
with his handy. That's like a little joke and like
he's an animated character.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
And so my dad it's crazy coming from my dad
because he's from Daytona Beach, Like he's from like you know,
he grew up in the hood and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
So it's like anytime I would throw these, he'd be like,
So I'm like, don't do that, Like, don't do that.
But I'm like, but Dad, it's a fake character. Like
it's a fake character.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
So then as I got like maybe maybe a year
or so older, my cousins will start doing swanton bombs
in the pool, oh man.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
And so I'm like left that off my story.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Bro, And I was like swamp's Wait, people do this
on people. And then I found out who it was
and I was like, wait, Jeff Hardy is a real person.
I thought Jeff Hardy was like dragon ball Z or
someth like a fake, is a myth though, yeah, able
to do this stuff. He's done, and I was like,
wait he does it on other people.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I'm like, oh, this is lit, Like this is lit.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
So I started watching when as as soon as he
got drafted to SmackDown, so we had that beef with
like MVP and then went on to like Triple Agh
Vladimir K Coslov and ASH and from that point on
I was hooked. Remember it was on my tea twelve
back in the day TV twelve, so I was like, yo,
this is amazing. And I feel like I started watching
it just like almost the perfect time, because as you

(10:09):
go into O nine, it's like, okay, you got old nine.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Raindy orton, greatest hill of all the time, greatest hill
of all time.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
I can't forget alway, Jeff Hardy though bigger than Obama,
you know, bigger than Obama, and like wrestling in twenty five,
which I to a degree I still feel like should
have been a class. I mean it was so good,
but there were just certain aspects where it's like it
should have been a classic. But yeah, no, that that
was That was it for me. Like like and I've
been enjoying wrestling ever since. And so when I was
a kid, I could never get the belts. My mom

(10:35):
would be like, you got you got belt money money.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yeah, belt. I'm like. I used had a little small
velcrow joints like they're getting little packs.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
I used to make them out of paper and I
used to tape them up like after school. I was
like get pieces of paper, cut them up and just
like walk around with them.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
I used to see the guys coming out of the
wrestling shows. They'd have the big best like man, one day,
when I get older, I'm gonna get that. And oh yeah,
I still have my w magazine magai. Oh yeah the magazine.
So these kids don't know about that either. No, that's
the diff man. I got a Jeff Harty one like
when he was like this where he was like flying
like this.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
I don't know how he was looking. He had a
bunch bunch of covers.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Yeah, but you made even think of a point though
you said swan time into the pool.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah, Okaha, BA was notorious.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
For having wrestling matches on trampoline and bro, like all
the guys that live in Okaha, buta they can attest
to this, dude. We were having Like if there was
a w W try back, then we would have made
it simply off the fact that the coordination and understanding,
like the aspect of selling.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
If we knew, Hey, Clipper, we're going but you're gonna win.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Yeah, man, I'm gonna make sure you look the best
and you get that due and right.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
The things that we were doing, I don't know how
and why. Yeah, but it was a time, bro.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Yeah, the time when we're children. Man, it's just a
fun time. And then shoutout SmackDown versus raw w W
two pages growing up.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
It's like we grew up in a in the Golden
Arrow bringback backs brought up.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah, that was that was undefeat.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
That was oh yeah, like seven, that's crazy, Like I
went back and got O seven. That's a triple age cover, right,
So yeah, because he's in the middle like this, because
that's right, it's.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Like John an Undertaker on a wait I know that.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Yeah yeah, so but it was like triple ah John
Cena and was it Batista Maybe I know.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
On it, but yeah, you're right. I think O nine
was a duo that was the X. That was the X.
I remember that one and then and then the next
year johnsona looked like his he'll run.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
He was like just angry at or something. But man, like, man,
we could sit here and talk about wrestling for days,
like yeah, really it's in our blood.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Man. One thing I like to do on the show

(12:54):
because I think of it as a celebration.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
So guys, I feel like deserved to get like recognized,
to get praised. It's like you're no different man, because
like I watch your stuff and I'm like, because it's
like slowly but surely like CATAPULTA. But it's like I'm
just waiting for that one, that one woman where it's
like I've been watching Justin since twenty five.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
I've been seeing him since twenty five.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
It was it was written, but I mean we got
to go into your athletic backgrounds. We talked about it
a little bit, but it's like, man, you were a
three time All American. You know, you started at Sanford
and then you transferred to Auburn, saw a lot of
success there. I saw you were honored at an Auburn game.
If I'm not mistaken, you were. You were honored, and
it's like, yo, this this guy is a legend on
the plane. So so like, what was that transition like

(13:42):
going from from Sanford, you know, to Aubumn, because like
that's like, that's a huge shift.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
It's a huge shift.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Number One to give my credit to Stanford because that's
where I like to tell people I learned about myself.
My personal development and my track and field development was
ultra important at Sanford. You know, I became a three
time All American at Sanford. When I first got there,
I did not want to be there. I threw up
thirty minutes from it.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
I was like, this is d one. But I'm like
I was trying to go to Auburn first. I was
trying to go to the big time first.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
So my whole freshman year spent my boy ties to
tell you, roommates of me telling him I want to
go leave this school and go play another sport. And
I was like, what the sport do I want to play?
I got the most potential going pro in I was like,
I was a real good hooper. I want to go
play football. So freshman year, like I was still good
at Track, I just ready to get up out of there.
So after Regionals was the playoffs of Track, I left

(14:37):
went to Troy to play football.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Oh most people don't know way yeah yeah, now to
just say that, I remember you saying that before, but
it's like, oh my god, that's right.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
I went to Troy in the summer shock coach Williams,
he was my receiver coach, and man, I was there
during fall camp and clear as day.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
But you know how people like say, like God spoke
to me a believer.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
I've been a believer in my whole whole life, right,
but I've never understood when people said that.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
I'm like, what are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Man?

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Clears Dad was in my apartment after a fall camp practice. Bro.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
It was that night, and vividly, Brother the Lord was like,
this is something that you want to do, is something
you can do, but it's not what you're supposed to
be doing.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Man, I was like, what the heck? And I call
my grandparents, real course, my grandparents. It's crazy. I don't
know what happened the phone, but it turned into a voicemail.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
The call I had to call, but the voicemail was
on at the same time, so we recorded our entire conversation.
I can go back and listen to it. And I
was telling them, you know what happened. I was like,
I think I need to go back to Sanford. That
was crazy because my folks didn't really want me to leave.
They love They was like, Samford's great education. You know
you're getting free scholarship, do all that, right, And I
called my coach back, and when I was in the portal,
he was like, everyone to come back, you can come back.

(15:51):
I called him and he let me come back. And
then from there, Bro, my I was just locked in on,
you know, God's playing rather than my own, was able
to have great success.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Three time All American.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
I was finished third the country went to trials in
twenty one, and then at that point I was like, man,
I'm beating all these people in SEC anyway, COVID and
Red Shirt.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
I know I got some more time. I said, let
me get my degree from Sanford and move on to Auburn, right.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
And so when I'm moving to Auburn, bro, it was like,
you know you that guy you supposed come in and
win the national championship and that first three months on campus. Bro,
it was in the peak shape of my life, like
I was dogging everybody in sprints, conditioning, like I was
physical specimen is what I would have called myself.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Then like I was on part like my first way
through the roof.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
And then Bro, like my knee just started bugging, started bugging,
and going into my time at Auburn, I had already
decided I want to start the podcast steck at my Thoughts.
I saw Kendrick Perkins on TV because when we first
got ESPN, I was like, he don't know he's talking
about it.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
I didn't that right, and.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
It's very naive, right, like very night, just straight up
just like I was like, you don't have a clue
what he's talking about. I could do that, like literally
That's how I felt, Bro. But I was like, that's
a very naive comment, and so you need to figure
out how you can do that. So shout out to
Laurence Cisler, shout out to a Nya Jones. They gave
me advice, started a podcast, started it. And then when

(17:16):
I got to Auburn, I I was like sitting down
a guess like you're doing that. I was like, plug away,
plug away, and then I started realizing, bro, like my
knee was not functioning right, but like all the stuff
off the track was doing great.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Like I was coming a well known name.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
I just got to the school media people for every
time immediate person would come into town where I was shadowing,
like I was glued to them. I was networking like
I was there to get my master's in business, but
I was a master's network like no CAP and my
Stanford time pier was great for my personal development and
track and field career.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
But my Auburn time was great for my career.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
Me and the donors, like understanding the aspect of financial wealth,
you know, generational wealth, financial literacy, making connections that media side, because.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Anybody come to Sanford. ESPN ain't coming.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
To Sanford, yeah you know, like game, they ain't coming
to Sanford, but they come into Auburn.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
And there was an advantage where I could take advantage
of that opportunity being there. And man, I grew like I.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Joined the sports the students' sports show them and I
wasn't even a communications major, bro. But it's something like
we've talked about, like chase your passions, whatever you're passionate
about go after that. Like I was in business, but
all this stuff I was doing with communications.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
And we were doing numbers, business and graphic design, your family.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
But man, it's like you being an Auburn because, like
I guess it's different for you because you grew up
in Alabama. But what was that atmosphere like in the planes?
Because it's one thing to.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
See it on TV.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
But it's like, you've been on the field, you've been honored,
you've been in the crowd. It's like, what is that
like in the planes? Because I've just I've always wanted
to know.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Now, I try to take all bias out of this
when I say it, but I think Auburn, especially in
night games we talk about football specifically, it's one of
the greatest atmospheres wasted.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
And the thing about it is Auburn fans.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
Auburn people love Auburn a lot of the other fans
like Alabama, for example, I respect the dynasty Nick Saban
made to the tea, but they love Alabama football, football
and everything else. And at Auburn, I was just so
enamored by how like, even if we weren't that good, bro,
people were packing out and showing up and we had

(19:31):
maybe a delusion to like, oh, we're gonna win this game.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
And we had a lot of close games, but they
were showing up.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
And I got a chance to be in school with
Sunny Lead during our gymnastics run. Bro, It's not often
you get to be classmates and co student athletes with
an Olympic old mellot who is performing and competing. I
was never aware of a question before I got to Auburn.
But we have one of the greatest equestrian programs.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Of all time, and so that's news to me.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
I did not know that getting the enamored there, you know, legendaries,
soccer coach. You know, we had football, basketball, and then track.
Like once we had a whole new staff, we started
turning up, you know.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
So it was just a thing like Auburn.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
They might say, ain't nothing but to school, but that
school is really good. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
I would recommend everybody going because it just man, it's
a special place.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
If it wasn't Florida, if I had to pick another
Sea school, it would be all yeah, And I would
say this.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
I feel like that's the that's just the beauty.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Of college because it's like you get to open so
many different doors that you just never imagine because like
growing up in high school, it's like, yeah, we would go.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
To volleyball games and it'd be cool.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
You might see like maybe I hate to put my
throw my school under the bus, but like you might
see like fifty people.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Man, I'll never get my first at Florida. No, no, no.
In high school.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
Who let me, oh, let me tell you. Let me
tell you about the first game of Florida. I'll never
forget it. It was the day after complication. We played
the number one team in the country, Texas. Everybody on
that team was like six' five, six like every one of. Them,
man you would have thought it was a basketball.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Game it was sold. OUT i was, like this is
how we show up for.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Volleyball So i'm thinking immediately it's just like BECAUSE i
already know for how it's gonna be, football And i'm,
like just imagine everything.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Else so and we beat them that.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Night some people tried to som THE i Never some
people tried to som be, course And i'm, like this
is EVERYTHING i envisioned about. College and then some and you,
know we might be supervisored because we're sec, brothers but
it's like there's like, nothing nothing compared to THE.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
SEC i know the love, It, bro AND i know
everybody has every school has their own. Vibe LIKE i
got a chance to go To colorado during The prime
era the first two, years, right AND i was like
it was so, Different like it was, packed all the
stars were coming.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Out i'm AT kd like things were.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Crazy BUT i was like at the same, Time, bro
no matter how packed this statement, is it ain't THE.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Sec it's not. No but it's like you guys Got
cam And, bro that was a Different.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Now growing up In alabama during the came era was
a different time, Here.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
BRO i mean it was, like, yeah one side that's
just Adored. Cam then you had the other side that was.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Just Like Scam Newton. SCAM i mean it was.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Crazy BECAUSE i just remember being In georgia watching the
Cam bag.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
AND i member it was on A friday BECAUSE i
remember waking up late.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Because you know when That thanksgiving for like when it,
hits it hits like that next, DAY i.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Woke up And i'm, like why is all right? Now
alabama playing on. IT i didn't. KNOW i didn't.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Realize next, THING i, know it's twenty four to, nothing
And i'm, like, well so much For. Cam when The
heisman and The, natty this that and the third and
then just watching that second, half it was like it
was just like watching a. Miracle it was Like i've
never seen this in any type and any sport, ever
like this type of. CUMP i, mean it was just
like one by one by one AND i was, Like,

(22:49):
oh this guy is the best player in the sport right.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
Now different beats bro and the thing is LIKE i
vividly remember that BECAUSE i was on a. Cruise, yeah
the only CRUISE i ever been on so, far AND
i was the Only auburn fan. THERE i was at
THE i was ten years old AND i was just
sitting at. Barking it was ONLY tv AND i was,
like this dude is, electric like and there's moments.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Like that that you remember as a, kid LIKE i
remember THE cam back.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
SPECIFICALLY i remember being downstairs like house. Divided Every bama
fan was upstairs at my. House was the Only auburn
fan downstairs there to kick, six seeing that place and Then,
auburn my time At. Auburn fast forward to my time.
THERE i got to Interview Chris, davis who came back
and it was a thing where like nobody, else he
was doing media the whole.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Time you, know he don't really like. Media but it
was just me and.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
Him shouted my Boy Big, jeff who was his former,
teammate JUST i got to talk free will with.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
HIM i, mean that's like one hundred and nine, yards Like,
auburn not Just auburn Lower like.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
That's the, best that's the that's the greatest college football
playerball all the.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Time like nothing comes. CLOSE i, MEAN i mean he
had like it was his second twenty. Six that's that's.
Cute that's a national.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Championship but it's Like auburn dethroned a three pet potential.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Dynasty bama was about the THREE.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
P now about the THREE. P Now auburn might BE i,
say don't quote me on, this But i'm just gonna
say it.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
Anyway auburn might be a part of the two greatest
college football plays in History bisiness, first AND i think
That jalen mill throw that fourth and thirty one grade
it's the second greatest.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
College football player of all time because.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
The PERCENTAGE i was that that's my last GAME i
attended as aper. Student, OH i think THAT i think
that percentage of their likelihood to lose was so, astronomical.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
And then for them to come back and. WIN i
think MAYBE i.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
Would love turn this into real and see what people.
THINK i would love to know what they think is
the second greatest college to ball, Player AND i put
that up.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
There it's second.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Greatest, okay like Play bro play you woulda think about
how like odds stacked against.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
You it is on that. Play, Yeah i'm trying to
think and is this somebody who is An auburn?

Speaker 4 (25:07):
Fan BUT i got to give it to, them, bro
because you hear Koul ai mckissry talking about how the
security guard was, like, hey once this is, over over
and scored you.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Out he thought everybody thought the game was. Over, Bro
AND i had a. BID i was doing My saturday
as a stuck video and my video was road wind
because OF i had to turn into some sentimental thing
with the Legendary Pat die speech number. Man BUT i was. Sick.
Bro BUT i don't think there's a, greater greater. Play.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
Now maybe we have to do more research and maybe
there's people who were seventy years old and got a.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Play that we never.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
SAW i think that makes me think of a point.
THOUGH i was at A d three game In, Pennsylvania Grove.
CITY i forgot who they were, playing but it's a homecoming. Game,
Bro grocery is about to lose a. Game, yeah my
Boy Tyler rose was a. Coach he used to play
for the, team the team that was playing against. Him
the game's, Over, Bro they're on the two yard.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Line this, way they're about to take any games, over,
like no doubt about. It the quarterback fumbles the.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Ball, No Grove city gets the ball in the touchdown
and his own game. Over now that might BE i,
know you, know there's, level but that might be one
of the greatest places, here you, know like like Flight reac,
SAYS i just didn't have the cameras.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
On YEAH i had a. Camera, no, no it.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Made Sports center Made Sports. Center you can find it in.
Archives shot it Made Sports.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Center OH i got to see. That, YEAH i don't
remember because the.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Game was Raps Dog and it's crazy because the whole
day was. Gloomy the whole game like clouds covers everything
and suit.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Right before the play. Happened, bro the skies opened up
sunny and the play.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
Happened that was too, crazy, man twenty. Nineteen that was
on fall, break AND i flew up there because my
Boy ben.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
And his brother went to school. There that's, man that's
foodle man college. Minute like. Wrestling we can sit.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Here and talk about it all, day, man but, man
going into like stuck in my thoughts BECAUSE i catch
myself watching your shoul all the, time like This Mark henry.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Episode appreciate this is. More i'm like This Mark henry.
Episode i'm, like, hey, man popcorn me right. Here it
might make your shd of. Tears So i'm gonna, say, hey,
alright he.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Said he said it all, because, LIKE i, mean who
doesn't Love Mark? Henry BUT i would say this for your.
Show and And i'm honestly, Like i'm honestly surprised that
like or have they have have like brands reached out
let's say, like, hey we want to implement your show.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
With like, heck, NO i need some. Sponsors i'm glad
you brought that. Up, look, bro And i'm gonna keep
it a hundred with you. GUYS i started this show
in twenty twenty two life as a student. Athlete you're,
busy SO i was.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
Doing it periodically and WHEN i could get it, right
BUT i.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Was doing other. Things.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
WELL i don't use the, excuses but as we've been
able to build, it the type of guests we've sat,
ON i need a sponsor because this is a.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Thing.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
BRO i was literally telling the story AFTER i finished
The Mark henry. Episode, bro And i'm gonna pat myself
on the back BECAUSE i feel.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
LIKE i do go the extra mile to be able
to get these guests be able to sit down like
my big e. Episode, bro there was zero guarantee he
was gonna have.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
TIME i rented a, CAR i drove seven, hours got
up in the middle of the night just to have
a twenty minute sit down that.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Probably could or couldn't.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
HAPPEN i just set up in the middle of a
random hotel that he was staying at and he was
able to do.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
It AND i feel, like what's stuck in my? Thoughts?

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Bro it was a thing WHERE I i literally have
the video WHEN i was pitching the name and telling
my FRIENDS i was gonna do, it they were laughing
like they had a video of, me like gonna snapchat
and it's Quoted i'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Make i'm gonna call my.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Podcast stuck in my thoughts and a bunch of laughing
mojs BECAUSE i, THOUGHT i was, like that's.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Clever, though, yeah that's real, clever Like, Justice, oh that's really,
clever Like Naya.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Jones i'm always gonna give A Niya jones.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Credit she was a part of The nio AGENCY i
was a part of early in, college and she pitched.
That but it wasn't until like two years later THAT
i actually was, Like, Okay i'll do.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
It BUT i wasn't even with them that no. More
BUT i was.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
Telling another group of FRIENDS i was going to do,
it and they THOUGHT i was. BSING i was, like,
Oh i'm gonna go try to do, this but nobody
was doing.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
It and so when you're.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Around people who can't conceive a dream an idea that you,
have you either can stick to what you know or
you can fall, into you, know their.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Negativity one of the things about you AND i NEVER
i never told you to it's in. Person but you,
know WHEN i first had my conversations with The iHeart
team about this, show you know the thought of having
one was, great but it was, like how WAS i
going to go about having?

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Guests what was going to be my, vision my purpose behind?

Speaker 3 (30:16):
It all and to your point when you were saying those,
videos BECAUSE i remember that video of you driving hours
from a non guaranteed, interview and by.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
The grace Of, god that worked. Out thank You. Lord yeah, yeah,
yeah thank You Big.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Chief but it's one of those things where it's LIKE
i remember clips like that of you and it's.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Like, OKAY i had to have that.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
APPROACH i can't just have it saying Like, Okay i'm
just gonna have a plep throat guest and just hope
for the.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Best it's, Like, noah like you got to go like
the extra.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Mile and one of the THINGS i noticed, too was
like with your, interviews it doesn't take a rocket scientist to,
know like y'all you do like the.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Research there's like a lot of research.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
That goes into, it because it's like you could you
could sit here all day and just be like what's
your favorite color or like what's your favorite. Food but
it's like one of those things WHERE i would watch
your shows And i'm just, like, okay he he goes
beyond just the typical questions and that's Why i'm a
big fan of the. Show And i'm, like you had
to be on, this like it was a no, brainer

(31:17):
cause it's like you are a guy that deserves all the,
accolades all the, praise all the. Recognition is so hopefully
with this AND i heeart, family you, know hopefully we
Gets you're.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Right SO i just wanted to, say, Like i'm always
proud of.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
You you know, This LIKE i, said this is the
days on Boot. Man you, know the night is getting,
darker but it's.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
Crazy LIKE i will say this, Though, BRO i want
to give your props as, well, because as you, mentioned
when we first made each, other we had like seen
each other but didn't know each.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Other and last Year i'm gonna give a shout out
to my BOY.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
Levi yeah he's in the distance, somewhere you, know he's our.
Guy but because because of, him you, know we were
able to you, know build a friendship literally leaving out
Of mania last. Year and just from that, aspect LIKE i,
think you, Know god puts people in your life and
gives you the opportunity to meet.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
People And i'm just gonna say this.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
RESPECTFUL i respect everything you've been able to build as
far as the social media and your, presence BUT i
could care less about that BECAUSE i care about the, person,
like you, KNOW i text you maybe a couple of weeks,
ago like checking, in LIKE i saw your story that, yeah,
bro how you?

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Doing because we have this whole you, know big.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Push for oh men's mental health and checking in on,
people but how many people are actually doing? It AND
i pride myself of you, know, hey if somebody's having
a bad, DAY i don't. KNOW i can't just bank
who somebody else gonna check on. THEM i want to
make SURE i. Am and so, Man i'm glad we've
been able to, build you, know a friendship and.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
It seems it's more than just.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
Wrestling wrestling was the, bridge but we have a lot
of commonalities and you just want to see your guys.
Win LIKE i feel like if you surround yourself with
people who hold you, accountable, push you don't have any
envy or jealousy and really just want to have a
good time to see everybody.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Succeed those are the people you need to surround yourself.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
With, yeah that envy jealousy part, too, man because it's
like that's one THING i noticed initially in the football
AND i don't mean to say, it but it's like
in the football creator community at first it was like
a lot of just like animosity towards each. Other AND
i never understood that because it's, like, yo we're all
doing the same, thing chasing the, dream doing it in

(33:25):
a very unique. Way why can't we root for each?
Other AND i remember maybe two or three years, ago
because you, KNOW i didn't really have like close friends
in the. Space LIKE i had people THAT i could
like reach out to from time, time BUT i didn't
have like, friends you know What i'm. Saying so you,
know the man above brought guys like YOU, levi my

(33:45):
Guy Jeremy, barnes the young ref who mikes himself.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
Up AND i remember just praying.

Speaker 3 (33:49):
When i'm, Like, Lord i'm LIKE i don't know how
Long i'm gonna do like content or be in this,
space but please give me some good, friends because it's
like to your, POINT i don't look at the, CREATOR
i look at the. Person and you, guys you all
just have an incredible heart and incredible. Spirit you guys
are you guys are all go. Getters and it's like those.

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
