Speaker 1 (00:15):
What's up, guys? How are you happy? Friday? Welcome into
a new episode of the Daily Juice Podcast with me
Matt Perrault. You guys can follow me across all of
my socials at Sports Talk Matt and well, no harm,
no foul night last night, just to well down but
nothing serious. One in one on NBA player props. We
almost got there with the first one in the Rockets game,

(00:36):
but it was kind of a bummer. Anytime a player
has like nineteen shot attempts, you feel pretty good about
them going over. But that didn't happen for us for
one of them, but we hit the other. So we
go one in one there, down point one units. And
so we go to a Friday, still down, still looking
for a big day. Now a couple of cool things.
So we have a ton of action going tomorrow Saturday

(01:00):
live stream. Even more to put into play coming up
for the NFL games two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
Live stream will take place at three pm Eastern Time
on Saturday, and we'll take you right up to kick
off of the first game in the in the Bills
and the Broncos game. So we've given you plays already.

(01:23):
You can go back and watch the last two days.
You can see the plays that we've given out for
both Saturday and both Sundays. So that leaves Friday. What
to do tonight? Well, the college basketball schedulers have given
us kind of a gift. We have a lot of
college basketball good games, Big East, in Big Twelve games
to watch and bet on here tonight on a Friday,
So a full college basketball card coming here today. I

(01:47):
will admit my college basketball in college football betting hasn't
been great, but I'm going to look to turn the corner.
We've got the College Basketball Show, which will start after
the super Bowl, will take you right up through the
National Championship game. On Tuesday nights, we'll give you guys
picks and plays and kind of look at the entire
landscape of college basketball. So that will come in. It

(02:09):
will replace the Tuesday show I've been doing with Pat
fitz Morris every single week for our look aheadlines. We're
going to take that all the way through the super
Bowl and then it'll flip into a college basketball show
coming up, and it will be most likely it won't
be live. Most likely it'll be a video on demand
show for us. So we'll do that coming up, probably

(02:30):
a fifteen minute show or so every Tuesday after football
is over, so stay tuned for all of that. But
tonight we got college basketball on a Friday, So three
plays for us going here for tonight, all coming up
here in just one second, so stick around for that.
And then obviously Saturday Sunday major massive football games and

(02:51):
big time cards for both Saturday and Sunday for the NFL,
and then Monday we have the National Championship Game. So
we've got three straight days of good football once we
hit Saturday. But here today we're doing college basketball on
a Friday. But speaking of football, let's talk about the
Jackson Smith and Jigbi helmet. We are giving this away
still and if you'd like it, it's very easy. You

(03:13):
just subscribe to the Betting Pros YouTube channel and leave
a comment on this video and that's all you have
to do to win this mini helmet sign by JSN
of the Seahawks Mini helmet sign thanks to our friends
at Pristine Auction dot com. Subscribe, comment and you are in.
That's all you have to do. All right, Let's begin

(03:34):
with the Creighton Blue Jays up against Providence and before
you roll your eyes. Let me just explain why I'm
talking about this game, because both the Jays and Providence
are hot scoring the basketball, and they also aren't playing defense.
The Jays against Villanova, we bet the under that game
went over. They're in their last road game. They went

(03:55):
home against Saint John's and against Georgetown. Both games flew
over by eleven points and by twenty two and a
half points. On the other side, for Providence, they are
seven and two this year overall at home eight You know,
to the over and they're over. We've gone over in
the last three games, including two of the last three

(04:16):
at home, in which the Yukon game went over by
forty nine points and the Nova game went over by
thirteen and a half points. That sandwiched in between a
Xavier trip in which the game went over by sixteen points.
This is a coin flip. It's a pick'em game. The
dunk is a brutal place for the Jays to play

(04:36):
in Providence. I've seen numerous games there. It is really
hard to play for the Jays. I mean this is
you know, there's a lot of symmetry between Providence and Creighton. Academically,
religiously jesuit wise, like, there's a lot that goes into
this game. You can't really pick a side. I think
it's really difficult to do. So I would lean Providence

(04:57):
to win the game just because they're at home on
our Friday night. But the Jays have shot the basketball
really well, and I think if you want to tell
me Creighton wins the game, I'm not gonna sit here
and tell you you're wrong. According to Kempom, it's a
one point win for Providence eighty three to eighty two.
That would put this game at one sixty two and
a half. It would put it over by two and

(05:19):
a half points, So a bucket there. The Jays on offense,
they've improved. They are now up to fiftieth in offensive
adjusted efficiency. There are fifty seventh in effective field goal percentage.
Even the three point shooting has started to step up.
They're now up to one hundred and twenty ninth in
the country. That's normally in the twenty nine range, not
the one to twenty nine range for a typical Creighton

(05:41):
Blue Jay team. But Providence is awful guarding the three.
They are three hundred and forty first guarding the three.
So if the Jays can get open looks, which they should.
If they hit the open looks, they should be in
the game. And again it probably goes over. They are
thirty seventh and two point shooting on the flips. Providence
is thirty six in adjusted efficiency on offense, they are

(06:04):
fiftieth in effective field goal percentage, ninety seventh and three
point shooting and fifty third and two point shooting. Is
they do hit their free throws. They're twenty fifth in
the country for free throw shooting, which is great when
you bet over as you want teams to hit their
free throws. And the Jays just simply don't turn anybody over.
That's been their problem under coach Mac for a long time.
They are three hundred and thirty eighth in turnover percentage.

(06:27):
That's just they just don't turn anybody over. But they
play defense well. They're sixty ninth in adjusted defense efficiency
and ninety fifth and effective field goal percentage defensively, but
they do give up points. And frankly, you know, if
you look at the way the Jays have played this
season on the road, Providence should have opportunities to put
the ball in the basket. I'm going to bet the over.

(06:47):
Let's go over one sixty two and a half for
Creighton in Providence at the dunk. One sixty five is
the projection with Kempalm. Let's hope kem Palm's right, and
we're going to go over. Keep the high streak for
both these teams to go over. Let's keep it rolling.
Let's go to the Big twelve and let's talk about
Baylor on the road against Kansas. Now, we took Iowa

(07:09):
State against Kansas in their last game, and boy did
that burn us. A twenty one point win by KU.
They annihilated Iowa State just the fourth time in recent memory.
And think the last like twenty years that KU had
been a home dog in Big twelve play, and you
saw why. On the flip side, Baylor went on the
road to Oki State and beat the Cowboys by fifteen points.

(07:31):
That snapped a three game losing streak to Houston Iowa
State in TCU to start Big twelve play for Baylor.
Now they're on the road against KU and they're catching
seven and a half points in this game. That's a lot.
It's hard to lay seven and a half. But with
the way KU played in their last game, I don't

(07:52):
feel comfortable jumping in with KU here and laying the points. Instead,
I want to look at the total. I understand that
KU this season is six and two to the under
at home, and that Baylor is just three and three
to the to the over or to the total on
the road. However, last game went over, KU showed me something.

(08:16):
Even with the Iowa State game going under eighty four
sixty three, the one fifty two and a half and
the eighty four points scored by KU, this is Darryl Peterson.
This is an offense that looked healthy, that looked ready
to go here, and the total was one fifty five
for KU and for Baylor. I think we're going to

(08:38):
see offense here between these two teams, and I think
we're going to see a pretty fun basketball game. To
be keep playing once. This is a once. This is
a seventy three. Oh sorry, wrong, one, there's a games game.
This is an eighty two, seventy four victory for Kansas.
So we're talking about a one fifty six number, which
is right there on the total. But maybe we get
pace of play here to pick up and go over. Offensively,

(09:02):
Baylor has been tremendous. They are fourteenth in the country
in offensive efficiency, but KU's defense is fifteenth in defensive
adjusted efficiency. They are seventh in effective field goal percentage,
and they lockdown defensively on Iowa State, Baylor is fifty
ninth on the flip side, though KU's offense starting to
come around. They're thirty fourth in an offensive adjusted efficiency.

(09:24):
They're eighty seventh in effective field goal percentage. Baylor's not great,
ninety fourth on defensive efficiency and seventy fifth in effective
field goal percentage. Defensively, we need threes to fall. KU
does not give up many threes. They're eighth in three
point percentage, but Baylor hits it at forty nine percent.
It's fag Allen on our Friday night. It's going to

(09:47):
be rocking. This is going to be a really fun environment.
It's on Big Fox. Okay. I like that it's on
Big Fox because I do expect a hell of an
effort out of Baylor here tonight. I like KU to
win and then Kansa wins the game. Do I want
to lay seven and a half points? I don't, but
I do think we can play on the over. I
do think we see offense in this game. I'm gonna

(10:07):
play the over and have these teams play and score
and run. Let's go over Baylor one fifty five and
a half here for Baylor and KU for one point
one units. I think we're in for a barn burner
of a game. Before we talk about the parlay which
you just saw that I put up on the screen,
let's talk about the presenting sponsor of this podcast, that

(10:28):
is hard Rock Bet. There's a lot going on with
hard rock Bet this week Miami, in the National Championship game.
There's so much going on in Miami. Hard Rock Bet
is ready to go. There is no better place to
watch the National Championship than at hard Rock Bet. Florida's

(11:11):
first deposit. I like KU, like I talked about, but
it's pretty expensive to go ahead and lay you know,
mins three fifty or so with KU. Let's talk about
Marquette and De Paul. Okay, this is Milwaukee against Chicago. Okay,
we just saw this obviously in the NFL. We know
what it's like with the Packers and the Bears. This
is very similar. It's Marquete de Paul. This is a

(11:34):
wild number. It's only three and a half. I think
because of what this rivalry is like, because Marquette against
the number has stunk. They are four thirteen and one
ATS on the year. They are one five and one
away from home. On the flip side to Paul is
eleven five and one ATS. They've covered their last four games.

(11:58):
There are seven and three their last ten, and they're
six four and one at home. In Bigie's play, they've
covered against Nova, Xavier, Georgetown, and Yukon. On the flip side,
just two of the last four games covering for Marquette.
They covered against Yukon and Nova lost both those games,

(12:18):
but covered then did not. They're laying five and a
half against Xavier one by one, catching fifteen and a
half to Saint John'son in their last game, and they
lost by twenty four points. Also, DePaul lost against Yukon
catching nineteen and a half. They lost by twelve. But
they come back home to a place where they've been
very good this season and look at you know, they're

(12:42):
ten and seven overall, but they're eight and three at
home and Marquette is zero to seven. So again, the
rivalry is why this number is down to three and
a half. I think that Paul probably covers the number,
but rather than getting involved in that, I'm just gonna
parlay it with Kansas. I think KU wins. It's Friday
night at fog Allen. I don't see them losing a game,

(13:02):
a conference game on national TV to Baylor. It may
be a barn burner. Baylor very well might cover, but
I think we can come in and take money line
to Paul money line Kansas minus one oh eight for
one point zero eight units. So plays for a college
basketball Friday Creighton Providence over one sixty two and a half,

(13:22):
Baylor Kansas over one fifty five and a half and
to Paul in KU moneyline at minus one oh eight
for one point zero eight units. My name is Matt Parolt.
