Speaker 1 (00:15):
Hey, guys, how are you happy? Tuesday?
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Welcome into another episode of the Daily Juice podcast with
me Matt Perrault. You guys can follow me across all
of my socials at Sports Talk Matt, and welcome to
what is going to be a very very fun week
if you are a football better because we have got
a ton of things going on. Okay, let me give
you a little bit of an outline as to how
the episode is going to go today, because it's going
(00:40):
to be a little different than normal. So we're entering
into a week in which we have huge games on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday,
and Monday. We have NFL playoff games beginning on Saturday,
two of them and then three on Sunday and then
one on Monday. We have a college football semi final
(01:04):
on Thursday and a college football semi final on Friday.
So for today, I'm gonna do the two college games
for Thursday and Friday. Then tomorrow we're going to do
the games on Saturday for the NFL. Then coming up
on Thursday, we'll do the games on Sunday for the NFL,
(01:27):
and then Friday and Saturday we'll figure out what we're
going to do for the week and what we're gonna
bet on. Okay, there are just too many big games
to get involved with. And sure we can go and
bet on the NHL and the NBA and all that stuff.
At some point later that's all going to be there.
We just have too much football and I don't want
(01:48):
to be getting cluttered. And frankly, we had a really
good year last year in twenty and twenty five, and
I want to continue it here into two thousand and
twenty six. For the calendar year of two thy and
twenty five, for the entire calendar year, we wound up
going one thirty two and ninety four. That is basically
(02:13):
fifty nine percent sixty percent. Okay, we were up twenty
you know, eighteen twenty four units. If you can bind
the NFL player props. NFL was seventeen point eight nine.
NFL player props was six point five three, or we
were up profitable for the NFL. Okay, we have begun
(02:36):
two thousand and twenty six six and oh sorry, three
it's sorry four to no excuse me, four to oh
for the NFL. Now, those were hedge bets, Okay, a
lot of those were hedge off of what happened last year,
but that has made it profitable here to start twenty
and twenty six. It did cut into what happened for
(02:57):
are we end up up sixteen units and we're still
waiting on the future wagers here in a second, but
as of right now, we're up sixteen units for the year,
which we were in twenty twenty four. We were down twenty.
Now we're up sixteen. So we're still down for the
last two years. We're down four units, but there are
some future wagers that may facture into that total for
(03:19):
last year. So I want to keep going with college football.
I want to keep going with the NFL, and so
the more football we can bet, the better off that
we're going to be okay. So those bets will happen today,
three of them for the two games on Thursday and
on Friday. Here on Tuesday, for last night, we did
have our first losing day of twenty twenty six.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Ohio State does not cover. They don't win, they lose.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
The Nebraska Huskers are now fifteen and oh which is
amazing for Fred Hoiberg's team. We went one to one
on NBA player Props, so down one point two units.
A one in two mark for us on Monday, so
not that big of a deal. We had a good
day on Sunday. So we start the week down little
bit here on Monday, but there's plenty of time for
the week here coming up for Tuesday. Now, before I
(04:06):
give you the bets, and I do have a recap
of our NFL futures and I'm going to give you
here in just one second or our season long bets
for the NFL.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
We were completely flat on these wagers.
Speaker 2 (04:17):

Speaker 1 (06:10):
We'll give it away coming up on February the third.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Now for our future wagers, there has been some, and
I'm gonna do a better job of this in twenty
twenty six. Because I do multitudes of shows, I make
all sorts of bets all year long. I make bets
on the Daily Juice, I make bets on The Boston
Y versus of the Book. I make bets on other
(06:35):
podcasts that I do weekly hits. I do a weekly
Raiders podcast. Like, There's a lot of things that I
do where I make bets, and sometimes I get my
wires crossed as to which show I gave the bet
at I gave out because I've made the bet, but
I forget where I've done it. So there's a couple
of bets I don't see that have been tracked, but
(06:56):
it's not that big of a deal because we wound
up overall flat four or the year. Here are the
bets that I have under my Daily Juice giveaway. If
you guys know of a future bet that I made
that is not on this list, please let me know.
Bijon Robinson over twelve hundred yards rushing cashed the Broncos
(07:18):
over nine and a half wins cashed the Giants under
five and a half wins cashed. The Bucks to win
the South did not. The forty nine Ers to win
the West did not. The Cowboys to win the East
did not. We did not do well on our bets
to see who is going to win the divisions. We
did do well on our win total and our one
(07:40):
season long prop bet that I have.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
So if there's something missing from this, please.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Let me know, because there are some that I found missing,
like the Giants underwinds the Broncos over nine and a
half wins. I couldn't find those two on our actual
tracking sheets, and I fear there might be other bets
that I have missed. But these are the bets that
I could run down as to what I believe our
official daily juice plays here, which is no harm, no foul, up,
(08:06):
three down, three completely flat. Now, like I mentioned, we
have four futures left. We have the Seahawks at fourteen
to one, we have the Patriots at eleven to one,
we have the Jaguars at fourteen to one, and we
have San Francisco at fourteen to one. I like those positions.
The Seahawks are the odds on favorite right now with
the number one seed they're four to one, so some
(08:28):
good CLV there. The Patriots are still right around ten
or eleven to one. The Jaguars are equally down around
fourteen to one. San Francisco has bumped up a little
bit because of the fact that they are the five
seed and the fact that they're so banged up. So
the fourty nine are having to go against the Eagles.
That number is a little bit on the lighter side,
but that Seahawks fourteen to one bet is a good
(08:49):
place to be. So no harm, no foul, but a
bunch of BET's a lot of fun as far as
I can tell, nothing no blood there. For our NFL
future wagers, we do have those four left to go
here with four units in play for us with the
Super Bowl. Now, let's talk about the National Championship Game
(09:09):
or National Championship playoffs with the National semi final. Let's
begin with Ole Miss and their game up against Miami Thursday, Glendale, Arizona,
Miami going across the country, Almoss going across the country,
Dome warm weather, warm ish. The Fiesta Bowl is used
(09:32):
to hosting big games for Miami. I am going to
look at this Hurricanes offense and say They're going to
score against ole Miss. Miami's defense. Can they stop this
ole Miss rebel attack? I don't think they can, to
(09:55):
be quite honest, I think when you start to dig
down on just how hot this offense is and what
ole Miss has been capable of doing against some of
the best defenses in all of college football, athlete to athlete,
I like what ole Miss is doing. I know there's
all this drama around coaches in Lane Kiffin and who's
leaving who's staying. Okay, but all Miss averages thirty seven
(10:17):
points a game. Ole Miss averages nearly five hundred yards
of offense per game. Ole Miss is averaging over six
point six yards per play. These are all top ten
offensive numbers, and even without Lane Kiffin, they did not
have a problem scoring so far here in these playoffs.
They are running the ball at four point six yards
per carry, they are throwing the ball at nine point
(10:39):
one yards per pass play. And while Miami has out
has a lot of great defensive players, and Miami's defensive
line has been tremendous, I just think ole Miss right now.
They spent a ton of money in the transfer portal
nil world as well to build their offensive lines. Their
quarterback has announced that he is staying put at ole Miss.
(11:00):
I think this is a barn burner of a football game.
I think this is a back and forth battle, and
I'm gonna initially I'm taking the three and a half
points here.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
I know there's a lot of people who have looked
at this game and they've said, all right, we're gonna
lay it with Miami. And I think Miami to win
the National Championship is a very good bet.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
I don't mind that at all here.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
But in this game, after doing a lot of digging,
watching the line move, watching the professional money come in
here on ole Miss and why people like the Rebels,
I tend to agree. Ole Miss and Miami both are
nine to five ats on the year. Both these teams
have covered their last three games. Both teams win and
(11:41):
cover in the playoffs against A and M on the
road in Ohio State on a neutral from Miami at
home against Tulane, ole Miss destroyed Tulane and then they
went and there are six point dogs to Georgia, and
they won the game outright. That against that Georgia defense. Stunning,
to be quite honest, completely stunning. Miss was able to
get a win like that, to win the game by
(12:02):
five points as six point dogs. They were so good
in the second half, so efficient with their offense. I'm
gonna take the points, give me three and a half.
We're gonna go Miami and ole Miss. I'm taking the
dog here. Gimme ole Miss plus three and a half
and I'm gonna come in with the over as well.
Over fifty one and a half for ole Miss in Miami.
(12:24):
I think we're gonna see offense in this game. And
I know you could say Miami is not a team
that looks to score, and if they get into a
track mean here, they could have a problem. I just
don't believe that this Miami defense is gonna be able
to completely shut down one of the best offenses in
the entire country.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
And I think you look at Miami.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
They're getting some respect here with the total because of
Ohio State Ohio States offense and Texas A and M's
offense both were garbage. Both quarterbacks played poorly, both offensive
lines played poorly. They couldn't move the ball on Miami,
they could do anything. I would be stunned if we
(13:03):
see fourteen or three points scored by ole Miss here
in this game, ole Miss put forty one up on
two lane. They put thirty nine up on Georgia. I
think they're putting thirty up here on Miami, and I
do think Miami will score. I think Miami is going
to score probably twenty four points, the same points that
they played that they scored against Ohio State twenty four,
(13:25):
twenty seven points, thirty points here for ole Miss. I'm
playing the over dog in the over kind of a
different type of correlated play. But I'm gonna take the
dog at plus three and a half for ole Miss,
and I'm gonna take the over fifty one and a
half for ole Miss in Miami.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Both those bets for one point one units.
Speaker 2 (13:45):

go to Friday and we take a look at a
game that Man, if you had told me that Indiana
(14:41):
would be in a game in a semi final against Oregon,
I would have gone, what, that's not possible. Well, this
game being played in Atlanta, Georgia at the Peach Bowl.
Speed speed, Speed. This is a fast track, fast track,
and I agree with the line move. The number opened
up at four and a half. We're down to three
(15:02):
and a half. Money is coming in on the ducks.
Is this a headfake?
Speaker 1 (15:05):
And we're gonna see.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Huge Indiana money come in late? Maybe Indiana destroyed Alabama
dropped a massive thirty five point number after their buye
they look tremendous. No buy here for Kirk Signetti in company,
no buy for Mendoza to be able to study that
defense for the Crimson Tide. Alabama had no pass rush
(15:28):
whatsoever Oregon does, and Oregon's got the athletes I think
to keep this game close. I think Oregon's gonna have
a really good shot of winning this game outright. And
I know everyone's loving Indiana, but I just think this
is a time for this Oregon defense to rise up
and to prove themselves here.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Oregon was four and two ats on the road this year.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
They beat Texas Tech by twenty three points. They shut
him down. It was a tremendous performance by the defense
for Oregon last week. I think that's going to continue
here onto the National semi final. They beat James Madison
at home, they dominated them. But they've won road games
at Washington, at Iowa, at Rutgers, at Penn State, at Northwestern. Again,
(16:18):
this is not a road game, per se, but it's
a neutral and there's gonna be a ton of Indiana
fans making their way to Atlanta, Georgia. I mean, like
last one out of Bloomington shut the lights off. Okay,
no one thought they were going to be in this position.
I'm just gonna take points in a National championships, you know,
setting with two conference rivals, two teams that know all
about each other, They're going to have tremendous respect for
(16:41):
each other. And I know Mendoz is the Heisman Trophy winner.
I get all that, And I know this Oregon. This
IU defense for Indiana only giving up eleven point one
points per game, that's number two in the country. But
on the flip side, Oregon's only giving up fifteen point three.
I don't hate to play on the under forty six
and a half in this game works well for the dog.
(17:02):
If we're catching points, in catching three and a half,
I want this over a field goal. We're going three
and a half for Oregon plus three and a half
up against Indiana in the National semi final. So plays
for US here on Tuesday. Looking ahead to Thursday and
Friday for college football, oll miss Miami over fifty one
(17:23):
and a half. Oll Miss plus three and a half
against Miami, Oregon plus three and a half up against
the Indiana Hoosiers in the National semi Finals. Mine is
